Last week I went 31%, boys. 31% that's not good. It looks like my freshman year, English. English class.

Starting point is 00:05:03 I was big on the Rams. I mean, 12 to 6th in Thursday night football. I know. When it's been overs all year. I know. I chose the over. I didn't even touch that game because I didn't know what the hell I was going to be.

Starting point is 00:05:16 Smok. Smus. They didn't even get close. I'm watching the game. Like, what is going on? The Tyree Kill thing bothers me. I just feel like we're in a world right now of NFL football where things are getting a little too dramatic. Guys are saying they don't want to play quarterbacks are tapping their head out.

Starting point is 00:05:33 Tyree Kill saying it's time for me to go coach. I mean, man, you've got to stick with the boys. Like, where's a camarader? Where's a team? I like Tyree Kill. I love it. I don't love the quarterback sleeves, but I love him. I think he's awesome.

Starting point is 00:05:43 It just kind of bums me out. Do you think that's the NIL deal? Like NIL stuff happening? I know Tyreek didn't play in the NIL, but it's like you're starting to see more and more of this starting to happen where guys are like, I don't even want to play for this team no more. Trade me. Get me out of here.

Starting point is 00:05:58 Let me get a new contract. Let me play hurt for six weeks so they can trade me. I mean, you're starting to see that happen more and more now in the league. We know how it trickles too with just the business aspect of everything. Players understand their worth. Players are posturing themselves, kind of controlling their own situation. versus like, you know, you have like, we had Allstot on the bus and all these older players and coaches, they talk about how the league has changed,

Starting point is 00:06:22 some for the better, some for the worst. And it's obviously it's like that gray line of, you got the Vonjury Campbell, Quentin in the middle of the game last week. Tyree Kiel, I mean, you can't go on the bus this week. You're always going to have drama in the receiver room on any team that you might be on. Right, right. You always got the AJ Brown, Hertz thing that was going on last week. AJ scores a touchdown, he runs over, they do a cool handshake.

Starting point is 00:06:46 I get it. That stuff's going to happen. But like, let the media in that situation talk about it. And then you guys got to internally figure it out. Because I don't know. I feel like we're finally, you for sure. But I feel like you and I are finally getting to the point of like, back in our day. It's kind of that kind of conversation because you would always see the drama unfolding.

Starting point is 00:07:02 Like me and Jarrell Casey once a year would get into a pissing match about something. But then we would figure it out a couple days later between us or a couple of guys get us together or something like that. And now it's just, yeah, we're just, yeah, we're just. Yeah, we're just kind of all putting our stuff out there. And Tyree Kill, dude, he's a, that's just a Hall of Fame caliber cat. Like, he's got a legacy he wants to leave behind, and he chose to go to Miami to make more money.

Starting point is 00:07:23 Yeah, he did. There's a whole thing about if you guys could just get to here with Kansas City, and they're like, sorry, we can't do it. So he goes to Miami has a couple good years. When things get difficult and adversity strikes, you can't just be the first one to uproote and be like, I'm done here. You got to be a leader in the situation. Because you are the leader of that team.

Starting point is 00:07:39 Yeah. Absolutely. You think every single guy is looking at him. Every single guys like him, weekend and weekend. You know, because you got Odell, he asked to be traded. They did it. The team was like, okay, let's part ways. Well, they didn't trade them.

Starting point is 00:07:52 They just cut him. So he can go try to get on a playoff team. That's pretty much what he's doing. And I think Tyreek kind of sees that and go, well, you think I can get picked up by Kansas City or the Vikings? Could you imagine a Tyree kill reunion with the Kansas City Chiefs? Man, that would be crazy. That would piss Will off so much. Oh, my God.

Starting point is 00:08:10 He'd be the most mad person. They can use them because they don't have a whole lot of offense. They can use them right now. They can use them. Pat Mahomes banged up going into this. Oh, yeah. He's not playing. Again.

Thursday night football Denver Broncos are at the Los Angeles Chargers. Chargers are favored by two and a half points. The total in that game is 42 and a half. Chargers get beat down by the bucks last week.

Starting point is 00:08:52 Ass beat. Beattes. I'm excited to hear Delaney because you know be sticking with his boys, the Chargers. No, no, no. You're going Broncos? I'm underdog week this week. I'm underdog week. Next year we got to take away the points.

Starting point is 00:09:06 No, no, I'm not taking points. I'm just underdogs. Oh, you're with the underdog. Yeah, I'm taking all underdogs this week. Straight up, just you got it. If you're watching this early, underdogs is all I'm taking this week. So I'm going with Denver Broncos. I'm going with both.

Starting point is 00:09:20 I think he's about to be, he's going to come out there, show up, do what he got to do. I don't know if they're going to win the game, but I think they're going to cover the spread. You know what I mean? At the end of day, just watching the Chargers play last week, no run game. That hurts the Chargers, not having a run game, thinking Gus Edwards was going to come in there and, you know, takeover. with JK did, he hasn't been doing that. I don't know what's going on with that.

Starting point is 00:09:42 You know what I mean? Not being able to get him to run the ball as well. So I think they're going to struggle in that aspect because their offense is built around the run game. Yeah, you make them one dimensional too. It's like Herbert's a good. He's not great quarterback. Great quarterback.

Starting point is 00:09:54 Whoa, good, not great. He don't have any. He's good, not great. Yeah. I mean, you look at all the stats. Like Herbert's not like, again, if the run game gets shut down, you have to lean on the past game. He's not, like, he's just not a top.

Starting point is 00:10:10 They got one of their top two wide receivers in Frasancy this year. Yeah, but I'm saying, like, the Broncos are going to win this game because Herbert, like, if you have to lean on Herbert, he's a good quarterback. He's not that great quarterback that will make plays and make it happen. Because at the end of day, like, yeah, you take away his top two weapons. But we're in the NFL. Like, guys are still quality players out there. It's not like it's us out there running routes.

Starting point is 00:10:32 Like, you still make plays happen. You still build off the play action. Again, you can't spread it out with Herbert. Broncos are going to win this game. I just saw, and Bo Nix, like, he'll beat you with his feet. He'll beat you with his feet. He'll beat you with his feet. Sneaky.

Starting point is 00:10:44 And the connection he has going with Cortland Sutton right now. Like, they're connecting in the red zone. And they have great defense. Like this is, they're both statistically in points the two best defenses going at it. But to your point with Gus Edwards and shutting them down and making them one dimensional, the formula is out there. And I think the Broncos, they do an incredible job on defense. They're top five run defense in the game.

Starting point is 00:11:03 They will make them one dimensional. And it's going to come down to Bo Nix making his plays with the game. his legs. I love the Broncos. I love the Broncos. See you're both taking the Broncos. Yeah. Yeah, all, I mean, everything's saying Broncos. So you go in Chargers? I'm going to take the Chargers. I think you're going to figure out of way to get Gus Edwards going. That offensive line, they played well all year. Like Gus Edwards, first game playing full-time starter. Let's get him going a little bit. Let's take care of time of possession. The defense and the charges, they're tied for number, they're tied for number one in scoring defense. You make this a dirty,

Starting point is 00:11:33 knock him, knock him down, drag it out. Tied for first with who? The Broncos. True. Like I said, all the data is going towards the Broncos. But I got to make something shake after this 31%. I got to make something shake. And I think that's disrespectful to Justin Herbert. He's a much better quarterback.

Starting point is 00:11:53 He is a good quarterback. There's nothing wrong with that. I'm not saying he's a bad quarterback. He doesn't have elite weapons on the outside. He don't right now. He doesn't. I think you take care of time of possession. You let your defense show up in a big way.

You're going, my game of the week, my pick of the week is Buccaneers minus four versus Cowboys. You like the underdog there? No, that's why I pick my games. You said it's an underdog. Starting point is 00:19:42 Come on. The Cowboys looking garbage. Yeah. And the Bucks, this is a nail in the coffin game. This is a nail in the coffin game to put the Cowboys to sleep to take. I don't know if they win the division by getting a win here, but ultimately choke out the NFC South because who's number two is the Falcons? They got their own drummer right now because they're going pinnics.

Starting point is 00:20:05 Yeah. The boy Kurt Cousins are IP. They've now put him on the bench. But if you look at the bucks, top five in every category in the NFL, yards, pass, rush, third down percentage, points. Baker and Mayfield, you can talk about Baker and Mayfield. Bruce Irving can tote the rock. You got Mike Evans who's back. Back.

Starting point is 00:20:24 But the guy behind the entire operation is Liam Cohen. He's somebody who's emerging as a head coaching candidate going into the offseason. But he is like, what is it, the EPA per play. He's like number six there in success rate. He's first or second in percentage with plays over 10 yards. He has those boys humming right now. They have a lot of confidence. They have a lot of momentum, especially after beating your chargers last week, 40 to 17.

Starting point is 00:20:50 They're peeking at the right time. I love the bucks. I love the bucks. I'm with you. Yeah, I'm taking the bucks too. Especially coming off of Biweek winning four straight in a row. Yeah. I mean, they were against terrible teams, Panthers, Giants, and Raiders.

Starting point is 00:21:01 But Cowboys are putting themselves in that category as well. This is, this is to me as easy buckingeers all the way. Yeah, bucks. It's a great game of the week. Going more off Cohen to the O.C. All of this, the success rate, in success rate sixth and EPA, second, you know, second percentage in 10-plus-yard place.

Starting point is 00:21:20 This is time without Godwin and Evans. You got Evans back like this is, we might have to go Evans anytime touchdown. Well, we'll get to that in a minute. My game of the week is going to be another large spread bills, minus 14 against the Patriots. This is a combination of two things. It's what the bills did to the Lions last week.

Starting point is 00:21:35 Obviously, we said the Lions are hurt. We don't know what's going to happen with that. but the bills ever since their little flood against the chiefs have really turned it on. Josh Allen has been incredible all year, but it's really been a flip of Josh Allen. Usually Josh starts really strong in those first eight weeks in that back half is where we kind of lose his name in the MVP race. This is the exact opposite now. Josh Allen is fully firing. They have two straight games of 40 points.

Starting point is 00:21:58 They've also given up two straight games of 40 points. However, I think the bills are going to come in here against a terrible Patriots team. Their defense has given up 10 yards per play. Their offense is like 27th overall in the league as far as moving the ball up and down the field. It's just it's abysmal over there in New England. All the Patriots fans, they're still sleeping four or five years ago when they had Tom Brady and those guys thinking about the glory days. The bills are working towards something special and they have a huge opportunity by taking these boys down and making a big run in the playoffs. Possibly taking down your arch enemy of the chiefs.

Starting point is 00:22:28 Yeah, they will. In due time. In due time. I mean, I like to pick. It's a lot of points. But the bills too, you talk about Josh Allen. like their running game is incredible he has been great like you look at their their scheme too they're big on tackle pools same side tackle coming around from the opposite way obviously following the

Starting point is 00:22:46 tackle but they're big on like pulling tackles which as as a linebacker when you're in there you're playing backer a lot of the coaching technique fourbackers is read the triangle guard to guard but when you have a tat you add a tackle element and you see everything kind of stagnant in front of you and then you see a late pull a late tackle pool late it just it throws your eyes off defensively I feel like who is that Joe Brady, the OC out there, they've been killing it. And like all their orbit motioning, get in the back and some one-on-one mismatches coming out of the backfield, they do. They're operating.

Texas has been playing good defensively. I'm telling you, the offense for the chiefs, they have weapons, they got Mahomes,

Starting point is 00:25:52 but they just have not been clicking. Mahomes' top five quarterback? Yeah. Delaney? Hmm? Mahomes top five quarterback? Yeah, of course. It's amazing.

Starting point is 00:26:02 But the key is getting Joe Mixon running because the Chiefs are a great defense. Even though they've had their lapses offensively this year, their defense has kept them in games, they find ways to win. You got the doink, you got the field goal ball, you got all of it. Chiefs know how to win.

Starting point is 00:26:14 It's going to be tough for the Texans. But again, you get Joe Mixing rolling a little bit. You got Nico Collins, you got Tank Dell. I like CJ Stroud on that defense. Can't see Chief. Their defense is really good, though. Very good. Very good.

Starting point is 00:26:26 Yeah, it's going to be tough. But that's my ballsy pick. A little bit of heart and emotion? Absolutely. No doubt about that. Yeah. No, absolutely. They've been waiting in the raft or sitting in the corner, waiting to pounce on somebody and make a statement win after Alabama. This is their statement win. This is when they go farther into the playoffs. They win this game. It's not even a ball as you pick to me. The vows are taking over in Columbus.

Starting point is 00:42:43 They are going to plant their flag on the 50-yard line. Or if they want to be good sportsmen, they'll go to the 49-yard line because that's not a felony. That's just a misdemeanor probably. And they put that thing in there. They packed their things and they fucking leave. I got Tennessee winning by three touchdowns. I like Ohio State. I want to see you guys be successful. but if I'm picking this game, I like where Ohio State is at. You come up, number one, they have a great defense. They didn't get into the Big Ten Conference Championship, but they get to essentially, hey, let's throw all the bullshit aside, like we are in the tournament. We can make a run. And you look at it a couple years ago, they lost to Michigan. they go into the playoff against Georgia and lose. They played great, but they come up short just on a field goal in the last drive. Yeah, they come up short on a field goal.

Starting point is 00:43:44 But if they can take that mentality, pour it into this game. Because, again, you get to ultimately reset. Yeah, all the external bullshit, all the Ohio State-Michigan rivalry stuff has everybody in the blender. But if you're in that building, you can throw that shit away and put all of your focus into Tennessee. Because I think they outmatch Tennessee talent-wise, especially on the perimeter. Like, again, you have the crystal ball. Maybe Ryan Day was wanting to hopefully just run it up Michigan's ass and it just didn't work. But if you hit the perimeter and use those guys on the outside, like their defense is very good.

Starting point is 00:44:15 And I just don't think Tennessee matches up well with him. So I like Ohio State. Tennessee by three scores. Yeah, Tennessee by three scores. Yeah, I like Tennessee here. You got to think about it. You know, Ohio State coming off that embarrassing loss to unranked Michigan. It's just like I think that gives Tennessee confidence to go in there and play great football.

Starting point is 00:46:59 Ryan Day's ego will not let him shake that off. He talks about in interviews, how the worst thing to happen in his life. He said his father passing away is losing to Michigan. Like he is just wearing this heavy. And people, he's got memes out. He's got the Congress thing. He's got all that. It's just, it's, there's a point where there's too much noise going on. Yeah. Too much going on. Whoever when this game. Some teams can handle it. Some teams get accusations about sign stealing and they say, fuck it. We're still going to go 15 and O. But other teams just aren't built like that.

Starting point is 00:47:28 Ohio State's not built like that. Tennessee's winning this game. You're turning into will with Michigan. You're just shoehorning Michigan. into every conversation. You know, why am I catching a wild straight? We've been down. We've been down. What are you fucking talking about? We're playing in the best white.

Starting point is 00:47:43 This has. You want to bring Nebraska? This has nothing to do with Michigan in the playoffs. Mitch, I understand what you're saying. And as a fair weather fan, I get it. I feel for people like you. That is the problem.

Starting point is 00:47:53 I'm talking about what that loss represents, not necessarily Michigan. I'm talking about what the loss represents and the mental fortitude of one team comparing it to another team that happens to be Michigan in the situation. The mental fortitude of both teams.

Starting point is 00:48:06 makes the national championship, they're not going to kick. They're not going to necessarily. You guys win the national championship. Wait, don't they got Oregon though after this game? Whoever win this one for Oregon, right? And they've already lost Oregon. That's what. But if Ohio State, if Ohio State does somehow get out of their head coach's way and beats Tennessee,

If they can do that, because the whole state of Ohio is not playing against Tennessee. It's the Ohio State football team. And they've got the players to do it. They've got the talent. Starting point is 00:50:29 Yeah, this is that in-state, we get to bring it all back to the state. This is a game I hope. they start playing on a year-to-year basis. Yeah. Yeah. Snow game. Snow game. We're going to be bundled.

Starting point is 00:51:16 and Sherman whispered in my ear a little something about he doesn't like Notre Dame. He thinks they're fraudulent and they've been frauds for years. It's just the logo, it's the name, it's the gold helmets

Starting point is 00:51:25 that give them the prestige they do. I like to see where Sherman's leaning. The fighting Irish. First off, thanks for having me on the show, guys. Excited to be here. Let's just talk about Notre Dame. I don't think we need to talk about Indiana.

Starting point is 00:51:39 I think Cignetti's got him ready. I think they're ready to go. It's going to be cold. There's going to be snow. Notre Dame, what do they do in the biggest stages? They lose. And I'm a guy that follows trends. Notre Dame has never stepped into a BCS-era bowl game.

Starting point is 00:51:58 One of the big BCS bowls. Never won one. Lost every national championship that they were in. New Year 6th bowl. lost every single one that they were in. CFP games have lost every single one that they have been in and have been outscored by like 70 points by their opponents in all those games combined.

Starting point is 00:52:18 They fall apart in the big games. We saw this team lose to Northern Illinois at home. They're going to get exposed by Indiana at home again. The Fighting Irish are going to. down first round. Can I ask you a question? Yeah. A lot of those playoff games, there's New Year's Six games, all those things, usually

Starting point is 00:52:43 like the logo is a little bit bigger. Like the prestige or the logo that they're playing might cloud their judgment and the lights. Does Indiana have that same threat? When you look at the Indiana Hoosiers, you think basketball, you don't think football. Do you think Notre Dame, there's a mental thing there with Notre Dame? Because all the things you're saying, I still know where I'm going, but I'm not. I just want to know if that plays a factor for you at all.

Starting point is 00:53:08 Not to pick on Will, but just seeing that Nebraska game alone, I know that Indiana can deal some damage. That's a good football team. I think they shit down their legs against Ohio State. I would love to see those teams play again at a neutral site. I don't think it would be like how it was when they played in the shoe and just got completely housed. They had a ton of mistakes, a ton of special team mistakes.

Starting point is 00:53:35 against Ohio State. I think if they play a smart ball game and they pound the rock, they're physical, but they do pass a ton. I mean, they're second in the nation and scoring. Yeah,

Starting point is 00:53:46 I mean, they're a great football team. I think that they can go about for about with anybody. And for Notre Dame, it's really, I don't know, I look at their schedule this year

Starting point is 00:53:57 and everybody hangs their hat on that A&M game, but it's like, how good is A&M really? And then they lose to Northern Illinois. I mean, it's just crazy. And then everybody's like, oh, well, they beat USC.

Starting point is 00:54:08 They beat USC. Everybody beat USC. Like, it's crazy. They don't have a major win, but they have this major loss. I don't think they're a playoff team. I think South Carolina could go in there, beat the shit out of them. What are we talking about? I think Ole Miss could go in there, beat the shit out of them.

Starting point is 00:54:24 I think Indiana's going to go in there, beat the shit out of it. What a simulation right now? I think South Carolina, Ole Miss, this weekend. deserves that spot over Notre Dame is what I'm trying to say. They got the spot because of the logo. Yeah, I love Indiana plus seven here because if Notre Dame does win, it'll be very close. And what I think too, where I'm leaning with you, they could blow Notre Dame out. Yeah, I'm taking Indiana as well. This is a feel good story in college football, you know. I'll take Indiana with the points. Yeah, I'm taking the points for sure.

Starting point is 00:54:56 Were you thinking Notre Dame? I was thinking Notre Dame. I was thinking Notre Dame. Just just because the boy Shane, we're going to be there, the vibe. You just want to be a part of like everyone just rooting for the same thing, but I can still have my kick you need it too by taking Indiana with the points. Yeah. Yeah, rooting for a tough ball game. Starting point is 00:55:38 The over under on this game is 53.5. This is your upset, huh? No, I'm thinking Penn State. I have some... SMU right here. I have some info for you. SMU. SMU.

Starting point is 00:55:52 Kevin Jennings. Under pressure, he is a top three quarterback. Passing efficiency yards per attempt, pass touchdowns, total yards. and Penn State plays man-to-man coverage 40% of the time that plays into Kevin Jennings' favor as he's a top-10 quarterback in the nation when it comes to facing man-to-man coverage.

Starting point is 00:56:13 And their defense leads all FBS with 154 pressures and that's without blitzing. They have a way to get to the quarterback without sending more than they need to. Who's SME played this year? Clemson, lost to them. Lost them in the last second field goal. They were down by a bunch of points,

Starting point is 00:56:29 end up coming back. I want to be pro-Bade 10 in the situation, but it's kind of the same thing Shirm was saying with Notre Dame with big games, James Franklin, like his squads shit down their leg a little bit. They just can't find a way to get over the hump and eight and a half points is a lot. It's a lot of points.

Starting point is 00:56:47 And so it just makes me nervous. I'm going to take SMU. I'm going to take SMU with the points. Yeah. But this is going to be a phone one. It's going to be a fun one to watch. It's going to be interesting to see where SMU really is. If they're really a team that, like,

Starting point is 00:56:59 deserve to be in this playoff. I think Penn State beats their ass. Oh. Ooh, I'm taking... Cold game, Penn... Our College Station, Whiteout. Happy Valley. Happy Valley.

And then again, up in the cold weather, I do think SMU they've had a hell of a year and they will continue to because they're in Dallas. They're going to have a lot of NIL money. Like, they'll be a good program. I just think Penn State coming off that, coming off that tough law. against Oregon in the Big Ten Championship too, I think they get after SMU,

Starting point is 00:57:33 in the cold weather up north, in the whiteout environment. I think it's going to be a close game. Tight close game. You like SMU? I keep forgetting that these games are not at neutral sites. You think of bull season. And Penn State is a brutal place to play.

Starting point is 00:57:48 It is. The whiteout going loud, getting crazy. And they're fired up. I mean, yeah, Ohio State dropped the game against Michigan, so they got into the Big Ten championship, almost upset Oregon. They played tough. They played well.

Starting point is 00:57:59 Put a lot of points. on the board. Yeah. And it's not like they're looking at the, it's not like they're looking at the team across to the line of scrimmage like Michigan or Ohio State and they usually handle those teams.

Starting point is 00:58:08 Right. I'm going to stay with my pick, SMU plus eight and a half, or eight and a half, but I want you to know like you were close. You were close to get you. Yeah, yeah.

Starting point is 00:58:18 I'm going up Penn State minus eight and a half. I think Penn State covers. I'm SMU for sure. Tier three, Clemson at Texas, in Texas. Texas getting a home game. the spread on this Texas minus 11 and a half. The over under is 51 and a half.

Starting point is 00:58:34 J.P. Does Clemson have enough magic here? Bring JP up. Who are we taking, JP? JPMR. South Carolina Gamecock chiminging in on Clemson at Texas. Ever since we've moved to Clemson, I haven't really paid much attention to them,

Starting point is 00:58:48 and I have a feeling Texas probably hasn't paid much attention to them either because there's nothing to pay attention to. Now we do have a rematch, I hear, of Quinn Ewers versus Cade Clubnik. They played in the high school state championship 2021, where I believe Kate Klubnick's team won. So Quinn Yers would be pissed off. He's going to start dialing it in the red zone. And Texas will walk and wipe the floor with Clemson.

Starting point is 00:59:15 And that's my thoughts on it. I agree. But what you were saying too with Quinn Yers and hopefully that, I'm sure he's going to be motivated and pissed off to beat the hell out of this team in that quarterback. But they've scored under 20 in the last three or four games. Like their offense has to get going. as well as their defensive play because they have like, I want to say maybe the top passing defense in the country

Starting point is 00:59:34 as far as like giving up explosives. And I think their D-line outmatches Clemson's O line. I think the talent across the board, Texas all day long, they just have to score points because you keep them in the game long enough. Then you give them a little bit of air, you give them a little bit of room, some light at the end of the tunnel to keep it close or Clemson win the game.

Starting point is 00:59:51 But it's all about Texas coming out, starting fast, and like putting up points early because I think they're going, they could kill this team. The key word was Texas letting team stand. in the game. That's why I'm going to go with Clemson. They are, they, that's a familiar tendency that they have. They let teams stay in the game when they should be blowing them out. And Clemson is a team you do not want to let stay in the game because they can beat you, they can beat you at the last minute. They got that, they got that type of team that can make

Starting point is 01:00:18 plays when they really need them to make plays. I think Clemson covers this game. 11 and a half is crazy. 11.5 is a lot, but Texas is like, Texas has a squad. Texas is a team that. Texas is a team that we looked at in the beginning of the year, so they'll be in the playoff. They're a team that's in, they've hit their expectation of making it to the playoff. Obviously, they won the SEC championship. They'll lose that one in a close game.

Starting point is 01:00:38 Clemson, though, you talk about teams sticking around. Clemson and S&U, Clemson was winning by a lot. Yeah. Clemson was up 217. And they let them come back and love the winning by field. If you get into a situation like that with Texas, bro, Texas is going to hold on. Their defense is that good.

Starting point is 01:00:52 I think Texas covers 11 and a half. I would love Clemson to win this game because a winner of this game has to play ASU, and I would love to see ASU make a big run in this whole entire thing. But I'm thinking Texas. Well, you were talking about Texas having to jump on them early. Texas has outscored teams 108 to 17 in just the first quarter. Right.

Starting point is 01:01:13 But the worry is, like, as JP was bringing it up, is them not scoring 20 in their last three or four games? You want to play well late in the year. You want to get to a point where you're, like, moving and moving and moving. Especially if you have to play in that first round, the playoffs that's not a very long break like you want to keep the momentum going team like like texas it's like hopefully though that week week and a half to have two weeks it's like let's let's change some stuff up let's figure out the game play a little bit because you go from

Starting point is 01:01:39 sworeing a lot of points to a few points you want that flipped you want to have especially when there's the quarterback conversation i know who starts man who starts this game you're going to start i mean obviously manning will have his his role here and there but like that is wild like quinniers who was a like a heisman kennedy candidate type of guy and not even talking And everybody's just calling for them every single week. They need to recapture that fire that they had where they're humming in the first quarter. Like, we got to witness it when we were at Michigan. When they bodybagged us.

Starting point is 01:02:07 Yeah, I mean, early in that first half-hast. You watch that team. We've got to recapture that magic a little bit and just get rolling. Those first two series are going to be big time. Yeah. And Texas, again, having home field advantage. I know. I know.
