Hey guys, it's us. The Jonas Brothers. I'm Joe.
I'm Kevin. And I'm Nick. And guess what?
We created our own podcast called Hey Jonas.
We invented a podcast?
Well, we didn't invent it. We just contributed to it.
We're the first people to do podcasts.
We get to ask other people questions because we're sick and tired of being asked questions.
Well, sick and tired is a strong way to put it. But, you know, tired and sick.
Tired and sick. Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
Just listen. We don't care where you hear it.
What's up, fam? It's Isaiah Thomas.
And I'm C.J. Toledano. It's our favorite time of the year on our podcast, Point Game, the playoffs.
We're digging into the biggest surprises of the season. And I'm looking back on some of my greatest playoff moments.
If we didn't talk ever again, I was harmed.
You just understood.
That's how personal it got.
Wow.
Then after that Game 7, Marquis keep coming to. He's like, you know I love you, dog.
You know, it's all love. This was just playoffs. This was just basketball.
So listen to Point Game on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast.
There are times when the mind becomes a difficult place to live.
This is David Eagleman with the Inner Cosmos podcast,
and for Mental Health Awareness Month,
we'll talk with singer-songwriter Jewel about anxiety.
I started living in my car, and then my car got stolen.
I was having panic attacks.
I was agoraphobic.
This is a month of deeply personal and honest conversations
about what happens when the brain goes off course.
Listen to Inner Cosmos on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts,
or wherever you get your...
your podcasts.
Most people out here think that taking care of one another is important.
And most people would step up for a neighbor going through a tough time.
Most people around here help out friends and family when they need it.
But the funny thing is, most of us won't look for help when we need it.
Talk to someone if you're struggling with mental health.
Because most people out here really care.

Welcome back to the locker room.
It is wild card a weekend at the beginning of the season.
There were 32 teams with hopes and dreams and aspirations of making it to the dance and finally winning a Super Bowl.
Only 14 teams remain.
We got six games.
We're going to give you picks on all six of those games.
Do me a favor.
Subscribe, rate five stars and comment.
If you do it, all it does, it doesn't affect you at all.
And it helps us a whole bunch.
We love you guys.
We got Delaney Walker, Will Compton, myself, Taylor-Lewan.
We're going to have a hell of a show today.
Let's win them all.
Big hugs, tiny kisses.
All right, welcome to the locker.
We are presented by Fireball Whiskey.
So many things make football great, but you know what the best thing is?
What is it?
The living shit out of your rival, and there's absolutely no better feeling as an athlete or fan.
And Fireball Whiskey is here to give you the spark to ignite that rivalry flame all season long.
Grab your football, buddy, buy a round and reignite that rivalry.
Wild card weekend.
I can't believe we're here.
Hey, before we get going, you got to hear this bet.
Do it.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
So I come in and he's just talking nonsense.
Always.
Deer Sanders not going to get drafted in the first round
because he probably saw a tweet that said a couple scouts.
Doesn't have him as a first round grade.
That sounds like the late.
And I graded him.
Our bet a thousand, you graded them.
Yeah.
What do you know about quarterback?
Nothing.
A thousand dollar bet.
This dude.
A thousand dollar bet that he goes in the top two rounds.
If he goes beyond that, Delaney wins.
What's you think of that bet?
I think you're going to lose $1,000.
He ain't going to.
He said, he goes, he said,
Chedur is going to slip to the fifth round.
Mark my words.
Delaney.
All right.
On name alone.
That don't mean anything.
He could have a Will Levin situation
when he falls in the second round,
but he's not going past the second.
It's a watered out class, bro.
I'm telling you, these teams are going to reach.
I know, but this is an offensive line draft this year.
A lot of old line going to go.
That's going to push a line draft every year.
Sometimes it should be, but it's not.
It's what?
just going to push this draft back.
That's what happens.
Once the O line's going to go,
then it's going to go D-line,
then running back, then quarterback.
Watch, just wait.
First off, I think you did see the couple of reports
as I saw the same ones,
and you got really froggy on that.
You probably drove in your car,
called three of your buddy,
said, hey, listen,
I got some huge insight on Shadur Sanders.
This is so premature.
He's got his jacket halfway on.
Yeah, he's the whole time.
Will you only half cold?
I'm just chilling, you know, you know,
you know what you think of swagging
with that look right?
Yeah.
You think I'm swagger.
You know,
I didn't even say that.
He got one of those full mirrors.
No, I ain't say shit.
He got one of those full mirrors at his house.
He sat in it for a little bit with the shit.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
You're crazy, this.
This shit is, I slept in this.
It's way too early.
It's way too early.
I slept in this.
It's way too early to figure it out.
It's way too early.
Combine has to happen.
Interviews have to happen.
Like, he's going to find his way into that first round.
He will find his way into that first round.
And you lost $1,000.
Good quarterback.
Give him a chance.
He's not going in the first round.
Give him a chance to get the bet back.
I ain't taking it back.
No, no, no, no.
I ain't taking it back.
We shoot up.
He was so confident we shot twice on that bet.
Oh shit.
Twice.
He's not going in the first round.
When I came in here and sat down.
Who's better than him?
Right now?
Cam.
Cam.
That's one quarterback.
And he's the only one that's going to go in the top first, first and second round.
Then it's going to be left.
You think only one quarterback's going to be drafted in the top two.
That would be crazy.
You're out of your mind.
We need to find out when the last time that happened.
Yeah, look it out.
I was trying to tell him about the watered down class that happened.
I think it was around like 2010 where Christian Ponder ends up going like top ten.
He's like, oh, because he's white.
Like, oh, because Chardur's black, he won't just go in the first or second round.
Yeah.
All right.
Onward.
I mean, Caleb Williams.
He makes.
Lamar Jackson.
Beast.
Mixed.
Jay and Daniels.
Mixed.
Anthony Richardson.
Beast.
And the performance he put on at the Combine.
Yeah, but they're black and they were in the first round.
Yeah, that's what we're saying.
It's a whole new error.
I want to know.
I'm up here feeling like Ryan Clark right now, standing on that.
Look at how many black guys are drafted in the first round?
It's a whole new error.
How many black guys are drafted in the first round?
2025.
Way more white guys drafted in the first round.
I mean, that's crazy.
Way more white guys.
What do you talk?
And it's in the NFL, 98% black and it's still more white dudes drafted in the first round.
You're just saying.
You're literally just saying words.
I'm not.
It's true.
24.
You're looking it up, man, JP.
Drake Bay,
Joe Allenix,
Brock Bowers.
You better hold that back half.
He's just right there.
He's got five fingers up.
That Graham Barton,
that's six.
And Ricky Pearsall,
seven.
And then everybody else was like.
That's seven out of 32 picks.
Hey.
P.
Hey, hey, you got a fact check me, son.
I don't believe in unless I see it.
Delian, you do see it.
Do you watch the draft?
I don't watch the draft.
But you, you say it like it's.
It's true.
I'm Donald Trump on this bitch.
Delia, so you don't pay attention to the draft?
No.
You don't pay attention to the draft at all.
Hell no.
So why are you making a bet based on the draft?
Because I'm going to win.
This is what I do.
Okay.
I just do this thing.
Yeah, all right.
I'm telling you right now.
Should we start with this favorite team?
Let's start with this favorite.
Yes, the favorite.
The Chargers at the Texans.
Chargers are favored by two and a half.
The overrunner on this game is 43.5.
Boys, two and a half seems a bit small.
Yeah.
Why is that?
You think the Chargers are going to be warm?
I feel like the Chargers, yeah.
I feel like the Chargers should be favored pretty heavily.
Pretty heavy.
Yeah.
Texans have no receivers at the moment, but Nico.
And then they added, uh,
Deontay Johnson at the moment.
Yeah.
I just like Harbaugh.
I like the Chargers.
I like the makeup.
They have a good defense.
They play balance on offense.
They have a running game.
Your boy, Herbert can throw the ball around.
And I just like a hardball coach.
He ran for you.
You saw the touchdown?
Well, he, I don't know if he's, did he score on that play?
But he ran.
He did run for.
He ran.
He got wheels too.
He got wheels.
Yeah, the kids, he's got some stats.
that he's in a league of one right now.
Like the kid is an absolute stud.
He is.
A league of one.
Chargers playing up.
This cat.
Why you hate on Justin though?
I don't hate on him, bro.
He's got just,
it's just like the league of one.
It's like,
okay,
well,
Joe Burroughs not in this?
Lamar Jackson's not in that league of one.
No,
he's got some stats that would make him
in a league of one.
That's a fair and factual statement.
Oh,
like his only,
his stats are his and his alone.
So he's in a league of one.
That's one way to look at.
The other way is how many yards he's thrown for
in the first however many years
of his NFL career
is the highest.
Putting him in the one category of that,
that would be a stat that put him in one of one.
Okay.
All right.
Did I say that he's a top two quarterback?
No, you said he's a league of one.
He's got a league of one in some of the stats that he has.
His stats.
His stats are his own.
I think the charge of,
Houston, the Houston Texans, it's a difficult place to play,
especially in the playoffs.
I haven't played there, but in the playoffs.
However, playing there in general,
that dome when that place is rocking is a very difficult place to play.
do have to travel all the way to Houston.
I think when you look at Harbaal, the enthusiasm that he came in at first, I'm sure a lot of
guys were like, what the hell are we doing?
This college type shit is not going to work in the NFL.
All of a sudden, you start to win.
Some close games that you would have lost last year, now turn into wins this year.
He is owning the culture.
And I think every guy there, all 53 guys on that team are drinking every bit of Kool-Aid that he's
pouring for them by now.
They are fully bought into the culture.
They believe the Chargers are on the up and up.
They're stoked to be a part of this franchise.
and then you look at the Texans.
Texans start, what, six and two?
They start six and two in the season.
You think, all right, Texas are going to be the Texans yet again.
They've had a very turbulent rocky back half of the year.
They sustain some injuries.
They lose digs.
They lose Bell.
And it just doesn't feel like the dangerous team that they were in the beginning half of the year.
And I like to look at these playoffs as what team is doing this at the right time.
Look at the Philadelphia Eagles.
What we'll talk about later.
You'll live with them last year.
The way they finished their season as opposed to starting their season.
season showed a big way in the playoffs for that reason i'm going to take the chargers i don't know if
it's going to be a blowout i think two and a half is fair i think they're going to win this game i think when
you get in the playoffs all of these games are relatively competitive like these are the best these are the
14 teams that deserve to be in and i think the chargers take this one and wild card weekends
usually fireworks the firewood there's going to be an upset in here somewhere haven't sniffed it out
yet but i have an idea of who it might be were you with horrible's first year at the nineers
I was.
How far did you guys go?
We went to the NFC championship game.
Right.
It's like, it's like, it's building off of the thought of, like, is what's college
going to do.
Like, carball is proving to come in first year and just turn shit down.
Turn shit around.
And I do.
I like riding that, I like riding that wave with the Chargers right now.
Especially because of Texans.
We're all in Chargers.
All.
That's the only thing that's kind of giving me some nerves.
I think it's more.
Like, you were talking like this fiery team in the beginning of the year, too.
Even when they were six and two, they were kind of like, it didn't seem.
like they were progressing from how they ended the year last year.
Yeah. Or building off that. Like I feel like they've been kind of turbulent all year long.
So it just and the charges are clicking at the right time and again playoff football.
I feel like the charges are built for, I feel like their team overall is built for the playoffs.
If you look at like you just remember playing like how like the short memory you'd have like you win a game one week and kind of vibes are high.
You lose the next week vibes are low. So when you end the season in a way like the next team we're going to talk about who's lost four in a row.
So like the vibes in that room, it's like, yeah, we're here, but like how much better,
is it going to get better?
Yeah.
As opposed to winning a few games, fighting your way into the playoffs and being like,
hey, we're going into this thing, kind of firing all cylinders.
There's just a different mentality with those things when you're winning games.
Like, it's hard not to jump on the roller coaster that is the NFL season.
Yeah, and I mean, you got JK back.
And they brought Haskin in.
And then he go to Michigan.
Yeah, he went to Michigan.
So, I mean, he was one of the hardball's class.
Yeah.
He's actually playing well.
He's been playing pretty well.
Yeah.
He's been playing well.
I think they firing all cylinders.
The chargers look good to me.
I like it.
That's a sneaky team in this playoff.
It is.
Very sneaky.
They're very sneaky.
And they perform well and they continue to hit this.
Like they'll be the ones traveling to the Chiefs.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
I'd be fired up for it.
I bet you would.
I'd be fired up for.
The next game.
Steelers are at the Ravens in division game.
Ravens are favorite at nine and a half.
Total points in the game is 44 and a half.
Will?
What are you at, babe?
I'm, I think I like the Steelers with the points.
I think they have no chance of winning this game.
I think they have no shot at winning this game.
They were scoreless in the first quarter last week.
We were talking to the locker room.
They had been like six games where they haven't scored a touchdown.
Now they're at four games, I think, in a row
to where they haven't even put points on the board in the first quarter.
I think they're going to start slow.
I just don't think they have offense, bro.
I don't think they have offense going for them right now.
I don't think they can run the ball.
They're just, they're always behind the chains.
The Ravens defense is top-notch.
It is in division.
And historically, the Steelers kind of have the Ravens numbers,
even though the Ravens being like 34 to 17 last game.
And with Mitch here, they're 13 and 3 against a spread
when they're getting points against the Baltimore Ravens.
They might have that little bit of life to where out.
That's why I'm going to take the Steelers with the points.
But the Ravens are winning this game.
Yeah, that's a fantastic stat, Mitch.
That's a great stat.
Yeah, I think that, yeah, this is a Ravens, Baltimore.
game but with nine and a half points it's like the Steelers are pretty much dead i know they're
they're a team that's in the playoffs but shouldn't be in the playoffs based on how they've kind
of ended the year you said they limp their ass up in them playoffs bro you'd like to see the bangles
get in over i would have rather see the bangles the performance would have been a lot better but the
chiefs they're trending and in the right direction at the end of the year yeah man you really
would hope they get them in i know all of our bets last week were kind of revolved around hey let's
get the bangles in the playoffs as if all words are going to do anything the chiefs fuck this
Yeah, I like the Ravens.
I could see the Ravens covering this game.
I'm going to take the Steelers with the points.
Just because it's an indivision game.
Tomlin, I think his leadership as a coach, wild card.
This game is going to come down to game plans.
I think you see the Ravens.
They've consistently dominated the regular season.
Lamar Jackson has consistently been in the MVP race.
And then we get into playoffs.
And it's like, what's happened to the Ravens?
The thing that I think is different this year is their run game.
Is the opportunity to not just have Lamar run the ball.
but 22 in the back.
Benjamin Button.
Yeah, Benjamin Button.
He has the most yards of any running back
over the age of 30 in a season.
Like, he is proving that fathered time,
he's one of those fathered time guys.
And to be able to give,
I almost said Delaney,
Derek Henry the ball 20 plus times a game
and take some of that pressure off Lamar
so he can make the throws down field he has
and take it every once in a while.
That's a huge recipe for success
and sustaining talent possession.
That's when you start to break down
and the guys that you're playing this late in the season
in the playoffs when the snow's possibly on the ground,
Those ailments, those bumps, those bruises, they start to feel like a little bit more.
And so I love the Ravens.
I hope their game plan revolves around run first because that is their recipe for success.
You watch them in the playoffs last year.
They tried to do this high-flying things.
And Lamar, unfortunately, missed few throws when they could have just ran the ball and probably
gotten away with that game.
If they commit to the run game, like it's already proven in their stats, when they
commit to the run game with Derek Henry, they win games.
And their defense plays well, which they have consistently, they're going to have
the Steelers thinking about Cabo San Lucas by half time.
That's what their goal should be, is break them down.
And so they're feeling all those pains.
They know it's the end of the year.
The season is going to be over after this game.
Break their will in the first 30 minutes of that game.
I'm still going to take the Steelers the points because of Tomlin.
I think it's a big game too for the Ravens' Tide-in room.
Yeah, Mark Andrew, likely.
Isaiah likely, dude, I like him.
He's not talked about enough.
He had a fantastic game against the Chiefs in week one, Thursday night football.
Literally his toe, right, was the difference in that game.
But he is, he's got wiggle.
Can I give a little sneak preview?
Go ahead.
Mark Andrews is Beastin too, though.
I like a likely touchdown.
I love that.
I think that's a good.
I love that.
I think that's a good one.
But he's got just enough wiggle to him.
Yeah.
He's got that kind of like,
kind of that Travis Kelsey-esque where it's like, literally.
That's what he do.
His body's going one way, but his, you know, it looks like he's going the other.
I do like likely quite a bit.
And you watch the Chiefs game too.
You throw in some window dressing and take advantage of the lineback room for the Steelers,
their eyes like Travis Kelsey's wide open
on so many different occasions. You see play action screens.
Like just get guys anticipating you've got to shut down
Derek Henry and building some creative plays.
And Lamar. And when you're with a raven.
Play action. You got to watch Lamar. When you're ravens
when you're throwing the ball, it's like if your game playing
consists of inside the hash is to out and you're utilizing
those tight ends quite a bit because they have two tight ends
as receiving weapons, that's a big deal.
That's a quick way to get those small chunks
if your run game's getting stuffed a little bit
and then back to the run game. And again, y'all said
it in tight ends. It actually helps because
You got to spy Lamar.
So that middle linebacker, whoever it is the spy.
Trying to be queen chasing him around.
Chasing around.
So you do the play action.
He steps to the side.
That linebacker aflows, middle open, put to the tight ends over the ball, always works.
You brought up a good point about how to have a game playing Lamar.
When you're playing a guy like Lamar, if you're rushing your four guys, the idea that should be, with your edge rushers, don't go past the quarterback.
It allows too much holes.
And then condense the middle of the pocket.
And then slowly like a bow constrictor come in on him and hopefully your back end can hold coverage.
When you have a guy like T.J. Watt, who is supremely talented, who's unbelievable and makes amazing plays.
But he makes a lot of plays the way his brother made plays.
He's not extremely gap sound.
He likes to run around the edge a whole lot.
He'll take the chance and the opportunity to use the B gap in the run game and leave his C gap, which is probably his responsibility.
And he makes a lot of TFLs.
That's when guys like Lamar, who have that elite athletic ability will kind of hurt you in a lot of ways.
Because he'll feel that pressure on the back end and be able to scoop under that B gap and kind of wiggle his way out.
that's where you see the explosive runs.
It's about those 11 guys condensing the pocket
and keeping everything in front of you from the back end standpoint.
You see that too, and then on the flip side,
it's like the Steelers have always kind of found a way
to defeat Lamar Jackson.
So it is kind of like a little bit of a mind fuck.
Except the last game.
Because you're right saying all those things
when you're a defense sitting in there.
Those are all the rules you want to play
when you're playing Lamar Jackson.
And T.J. Watt does go rogue,
but it's the Steelers, for whatever reason.
They've been able to figure out ways to defeat Lamar.
And exactly what you're talking about is the reason,
the hesitation why I'm not taking the big line with the Ravens.
Because the Steelers have kind of always found a way to have some sort of success or at least keep it close against a great Ravens football team.
If this was a different team with the same record and the same everybody with a different name, I'm taking the Ravens minus nine and a half.
But because of the Steelers, because of Tomlin, that's the reason why you can see this.
I mean, yeah.
You can say Tomlin, but he ain't out there playing like last week, Russ could have got out of bounds, say some time on the clock so them to get down there and at least get a field goal.
he fucking comicose, ran right into the DB, so fucking stupid, runs the clock down.
Like, I'm taking the Ravens minus nine and a half.
And just that play in general, as a veteran quarterback, her Super Bowl champion quarterback,
you have to understand that situation.
Like, what?
Yeah, yeah.
Throw the ball out of bounds, do something.
Like, what?
You have that hero's mentality.
Yeah.
You're just trying to be the hero for whatever reason.
You're going to pert in the team more.
Definitely.
And we're going to talk about this for a long time?
No.
I mean, I'm going bills all the way.
I think Josh Allen is amazing.
No, I don't.
I think the Denver,
fourth quarter win?
Going up to the Northeast, I think Bo Nix, they've won one of their last three games.
And the one game they won was a team that sat all of their players.
Otherwise, we're not looking at this team in the playoffs right now.
at all. I have no belief in the Broncos. I think it's outstanding what they did in the turnaround
they've had with Bo Nix. I think the Brazil, I think if you're sitting in a mile high country right now,
you're really excited about the Broncos and what they're going to do for you because Sean
Peyton, Bo Nicks, they mesh together really well. This seems like a year that we could really
be talking about the bills in February. The bills just seemed different. They seem very different right
now. I like them a lot. I'm taking the bills with the points. The bills, by the way, I didn't
say this. The bills are favored at eight and a half points,
the total points they game is 47 and a half.
I think I'm going to go Broncos
with the points. I do think
the bills win. They take care of business, but I think
that the bills, this is like
they have to win their morning routine. This is their
morning routine game where they got to get up, they got
to get a workout in and everything else because they are
hungry. You know they want
it's that AFC championship game
against the Chiefs. So I don't
I'm not saying they're going to overlook it. I think it's
extremely difficult to go out to Buffalo
at this point in the year.
and beat them in January.
I do think the bills will take care of business
and win this game.
I think the Broncos, I think.
They can be a little frisky.
I'm going to take the eight and a half points.
I do think the bills win.
Not like late, like they're going to come from behind and win.
I just think it's going to be a close game all the way down to the end.
So I'm going to take the Broncos with the points.
AFC and the books, Delany you're taking the bills of the Broncos.
And too, you look at how the ball kind of bounced around in the end zone,
like a play that the chiefs usually get, right?
Where it bounce off all the different defenders and then Sutton comes down with the ball
for a touchdown like those
you need the ball
to bounce your way a little bit
they might have a little bit of luck
going into a wild car weekend
even though the chiefs
are sitting a lot of people
and they weren't playing with their stars
and Carson Wins was playing
like offensively the confidence
you still put up 38 points
like you still
on a practice squad
I'm sure if you're shot
on all playing but yeah
I'm sure if you're Sean Payton
that's the narrative you're trying to
hey boys when we do it right
this is what we can put on the board
we can put these types of points on the board
but every
player in there that knows what they're talking about.
I was like, yeah, we didn't play against nobody.
Nobody.
And it's, it goes, it kind of is, it's a theme, right?
Like, these teams, they're kind of doing this at the end of the year.
They kind of just had a little blip because they beat a team sitting all their guys.
Yeah.
As opposed to the bills that, dude, I really, other than their defense can be being shaky,
sometimes I truly believe in the bills this year.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It's going to be a cold game, too, boy.
Yeah.
Very cold.
Packers, NFC.
Now, Packers at Eagles.
Eagles are favored by four and a half.
The overrunner on this game is 46 and a half.
This is my bossy pick, man.
Yeah, well, you're taking Eagles minus one and a half.
I'm taking the Packers.
Oh, I think the Packers.
I'm taking the Packers.
I like the ballsy.
You look at who they've lost to.
Like, you can throw the Bears game out of the window.
But they lost the Vikings twice.
They lost the Lions twice.
And I think they lost two.
Eagles, very early in the year by two points.
Yeah.
The Packers, the Packers can play, man.
They have a very good defense.
Yes, Alexander is on IR.
But if they can shut down, which is a tall task, if they can,
they're not going to shut down Sequan Barkley,
but keep them at bay.
Keep them at bay.
Under 90-ish yards rushing.
Like the Packers are going to have a shot.
I like the Packers.
I mean, you got two good running backs in this game.
You got Jacobs and you got Barclay.
Like, I mean, this is going to be a game.
Yeah, this could be the best game of the weekend.
Actually, this is the last bullet point here.
It might be the best game of the weekend.
That's time, Mitch.
Okay.
I like that.
I like the Eagles.
You can see the pain on Seekwan's Barclay face
as he's doing a locker room
interview, talking about wanting the record, talking with his family about it, the coach coming in,
saying, hey, we're going to sit you this week. I know it's not what you want. However, we have to think
about the big picture of things. Any true competitor, when they are told something they don't want to
hear, they take that, and they take that chip and they just place that thing gently on their,
on their shoulder as if it's a seed, and they water it a couple times a day. Now that seed, he's got a
chip. He's like, I wasn't able to get this record, but I'm sure there's some sort of playoff
rushing record that he's going to look at and be like, fuck it, I'm going to beat that instead.
That's the big difference between this Eagles team from last year this year plus their record going in.
Like their records were similar.
However, the way they got to that record is much different.
Strengthening the beginning of the year, weakness at the end of the year.
That is now flipped to where the Eagles are very strong at the end of the year and they're firing in a lot of ways.
Adrian Brown's pissed off, right?
You got a Brandon Graham.
He's doing a radio show saying 11 and 1.
We don't know if they're getting along.
All of a sudden the next week he's tosses it to AJ.
AJ's got a smile on his face.
You get in the playoffs.
All that petty bullshit in the last.
locker room kind of goes away because you realize that you have a squad and you have a roster
that can fight for something that's bigger than yourself. The regular season, your stats are what
your stats are. Now it's about how do we get more points than the other team for three more times.
That's all you have to do is win three more games. I love the Eagles in this pick. I think the Eagles
four and a half. I think Sequin Barclay has a massive game. Not taking anything away from the
Packers. I love the Packers. They're in the strongest division. And the game, the teams they lost you
is just, you know, that's a huge selling point. But I love how the Eagles have.
kind of flip the script on what their seasons look like from 24 from 23 to 24 i think the eagles
are are very strong i like i like it we go commanders commanders at buccaneers buccaneers favored by
three the over under on this game is 50 and a half what are we feeling what we feel with the
commanders i like the bucks i like the bucks too i like the part of me that doesn't i don't know
if the commanders are as good as i've assumed them to be i think when you look at the turnaround
When you look at Coach Quinn, they have between guys on the Pro Bowl roster and alternates.
They have 13 guys in the Pro Bowl this year.
You know how many of those are from Ron Rivera?
Zero.
Really?
Because Groot- That's a great stat.
Gruden drafted Scary Terry.
But the turnaround that the commanders have had, they've had an incredible season.
But they've been playing just okay against not very good football teams at the back half of the year.
I think the bucks, they just trend.
You got Mike Evans, who, you know, how many consecutive seasons over a thousand?
11.
11.
I think they're cooking.
I think Baker Mayfield's ready to go.
I think that offense is ready to go.
The defense is going to play a little bit more.
I mean, it is the playoff season.
Everybody's going to up their game a little bit more.
And I just think that they have too much for the commanders.
And they're at home in Tampa.
I like the bucks with the three points.
Yeah.
Hey, just like Mitch said, commanders, that's the pick here.
So I'm going to commanders.
He like staring.
I think commanders might be the pick here or the over.
I'm taking the commanders, B.
I think the commanders as a franchise are very happy with the outcome of this season.
They feel very proud.
They're like, we know we have a quarterback for the future.
We feel good about it.
Dan Quinn, we feel great about that.
Obviously, you see the Pro Bowl thing.
I didn't know that.
That's an incredible stat.
So as a franchise that's been in turmoil for so long, you see this season, you're like,
we don't know if this is our year, but fuck, we are so excited about the future.
of this team. We know we got the right head coach. We know we got the right quarterback.
They're ecstatic about what the future is going to bring. I don't think they're focus as much as the
bucks. The bucks have quietly become a fantastic franchise. The ownership stays out of it. Bowles has done a
great job. He speaks softly but carries a big stick type of mentality. And they're bringing a guy
at Baker Mayfield after Tom Brady to kind of take over the reins. There's a lot of confusion
of whether or not he's going to be able to do that. He has obviously done as a $100 million
our contract. The way the team rallies around a guy like Mike Evans when he catches that ball,
they don't even get a first down, but gets himself a thousand yards for 11 straight season.
And the whole team. The crowd. Was it a three-out stadium? The whole team clears the benches.
Just to celebrate for a moment. There's not a bum in a seat that entire time. Like that's,
that's an exciting thing that, you know, is only great for one guy. Like, that's awesome, but it's
really just one guy. Yeah. And I think there's something.
about this Tampa Bay team that they're rallying around something special. They're trying to do
something special this year as opposed to a franchise that is happy to be happy to be there,
but more excited about their future. And I think Baker Mayfield, he's got one little piece left
to kind of get some, like get the official first overall pick stench off him and that's winning
playoff games. Yeah, like this is a dude. This is a quarterback. This is all the other big dogs.
You win this game. You're officially like, now you're being talked about as one of the top tier
quarterbacks. Now you're getting talked about like, oh, we know Tampa Bay's got a great quarterback.
They don't have to worry about that as opposed to, you know, every year it's like, okay, do you keep Baker,
what do you do? Like, there's always a narrative around him in the offseason.
Going from like, I love the way Baker plays to like the dude just balls. He's a winner.
Yeah, he's a good quarterback because he's like top five and he's a playoff winning quarterback.
Yeah, the majority of category. And a better person. I think I'm, I'm, I'm stoked for both
these franchises. I get a warm, fuzzy feeling when I think about the commanders and the
bucks. I think the bucks take this one minus three.
about the bucks the bucks have won against the eagles lions and took the the chiefs to overtime but they lost to like the cowboys
the nineers like the cowboys are so the cowboys are one blemish what is it in the last seven games that they're
that's their one blemish but they're so up and down like you just don't know what team you're gonna get
i think there i think there's like a lack of focus there like you kind of you start to drink your own
cool it a little bit about how great you are everything kind of gets reset once you're in the playoffs
when you're in the playoffs it's like boys it's win or go all hands on
You could have some guys in the franchise that are like kind of a win-win.
We win, extra check, possible to Super Bowl.
You lose.
Cabo San Luis.
I don't know, man.
We went to the second round playoffs, motherfucker.
The whole team seemed like bitches when we was playing doing anything.
What was it?
When we went with, uh, with, um.
Malarkey?
Malarkey.
Yeah, because no one believed in malarkey.
You, you crazy, guys.
We knew that team was not.
Something like one did, one didn't sitting on this.
That's why we lost.
That's why we fucking lost.
That he motherfuckers didn't believe.
I was the only one who bought out that game.
You get what I'm saying?
That's a wild statement.
It's true.
Listen, that game, we knew with a, I mean, Terry Robesky, loved Terry Robesky to death.
I mean, yeah, that was.
He had the most predictable offense of all time.
Our defense played really well.
There was, like, question marks revolving around Mike Barclay.
You think Terry was calling plays?
No.
I don't know.
Who was?
I want to say Mike Marlarky was calling the plays.
Okay, well, then Mike Malarkey called the most predictable plays of all time.
It was duo, it was inside zone, and then we're third and six, hopefully Marcus and scramble
and make a play.
Get it to delay.
We was winning in the game early.
We were nine and seven.
And we were winning in that game early.
And then it was that special team's incident that caused us to go downhill.
We were winning in the New England game early.
And then.
Are you talking about the game we lost 40 to 7?
You were up to seven?
We was up.
No.
We got, I don't know what was.
40 to enough.
into New England, and Corey Davis had his first touchdown of the year in that game
in the back half of the end zone where we run out.
Other than that, we didn't do shit.
We went into that special team.
Remember, they jumped off sides, and then they gave them a first down,
and that's when Tom Brady started picking us apart.
At what point in the game was that?
It was probably second quarter, second, third quarter.
Yeah, there was not a whole lot.
We were not doing a lot of special.
I mean, we could have beat them, though.
It was just our team gave up.
It was like, oh, yeah, we can't win.
I think the Patriots went to the Super Bowl that year.
Yeah.
And loss.
that was the lost to the Eagles yeah they lost to the Eagles yeah I might be jumping around a lot
of different games but I specifically remember being in New England we in a cold game and
Corey Davis catching his first touchdown it was there a crazy catch too like yeah he called it
but it wasn't 40 to 7 because that game was the one I ran over oh buddy over and I went I you know
I ran for like 70 yards for a touchdown that was a regular season game yeah but it wasn't that
they beat us bad that game wasn't the playoffs they beat us 40 something I don't remember what year was it
I'll just look it up real quick.
2000, what, 16?
Since we're talking Titans,
do we have a reaction to Rain Carthon being fired?
Damn.
Yeah, man, that's fucked up.
I mean, you're tied in, I feel like,
with the Titans a little bit.
I am tied in, but I don't make decisions.
Are you surprised by the fire?
I'm kind of surprised by the firing.
I didn't think, I thought he would have got one more year
to, you know, try to build that roster.
The roster pretty solid this year with what he had.
I did, too, you know, but at the end of the day,
it's this new era of two years and out
if you don't do nothing in two years you out like
what surprises me is you know
it's like they fired J. Rob
you keep Brable
they bring in Rand
then they go with Rain and Brable
then they fire Brable so they have Rand
then they bring in Callahan
then they fire them both they keep
ran and keep Rann then they now they fire
ran and keep Callahan like they're just not on the same
it's not aligned in anything up at the top
it's whoever knew
it's gonna stay and the old is gonna go
But don't you think they need to be like two of the same?
Like you need to bring in a GM and a head coach that they're both on the same page
and pushing the same boat, have kind of the same ideas.
They're the ones in the room making decisions with each other, like doing it all their way.
But it's like behind the scenes, you know, it's really like three GMs.
It's not just one.
Rand wasn't the only GM.
He was just the face.
He was just the face because it's the other guy.
You know the other guy name?
I know that we lost to the New England.
He has 35, 14 that game.
We scored seven in the first quarter and seven in the fourth quarter.
They scored 21 in the second quarter and seven in the third.
We were getting blown out.
And you balled you said?
You balled out?
Yeah.
Three catches for 49 yards.
Balled out.
I can't help.
I'm the only person on the team at that time.
Eric Decker, Eric Decker, six catches at 85 yards.
Corey Davis, five catches 63 yards.
I was been a double team the whole game.
I'm just saying, I'm just saying what happened.
Open it up.
That's the Bill Belichie.
There you go.
What you mean?
You're talking about Ron?
Ran?
Yeah, he was asking, do you know the name of the other?
He's like there's basically like two or three.
It's like Cody.
You know what I'm talking about the dude.
Yeah, white dude.
White dude, yeah.
I know that.
He's going to be the GM now.
He's going to be the GM of the team.
Watch.
He just, they're about to pass the ranks to him.
He's going to be the long deal.
So it's going to be somebody in the same building.
So it ain't going to be.
That sounds like a good Titans move.
That sounds like the Titans move.
They ain't going to, they ain't going to like just break.
it apart. So it's going to already be a guy that Bill, uh, Calhahn already know. So it's not going to be
like, oh, let's bring it another GM and start this shit over with it. It's not going to be like that.
Gotcha. That's why that move was so easy to make. I think my personal opinion is the Titans have
an interesting situation when it comes to football minded people in suits. And I think Amy's kind of
pulled in a direction of which one she should really listen to because suits don't know the game of
football at all. But they make a lot of sense because they speak the same language as Amy.
That's her. And then there's the football minded people.
who understand the game but don't necessarily speak the language to Amy Adams Strong
that she can fully process and understand.
Everything I've heard about ran is speculation.
It's things that I've just been heard or told or whatever.
My understanding is that he was a GM that had to report to multiple people to make
roster moves, which is very, you know, not normal for a team.
But if they're going to make an internal move, like if they make an internal move,
that just means that that piece of information that I had was true.
True.
Yeah, it was true.
You know, I like Rand.
He was awesome on the show.
He's one of those cats.
See, like, you're around him.
You love to be around him.
Yeah.
But he did come from a successful franchise.
Came from the 49ers.
Came from the 90s.
I mean, he was a stud there.
Found some good cats.
A lot of dudes love him on the 90s, man.
All right, last game in the NFC, Vikings at the Rams.
Vikings favorite by one and a half.
The overrunner on this game's 47 and a half.
I've kind of conflicted because of the way the Lions beat the shit out of the Vikings last week.
I know.
Damn.
You're like Stafford in the playoffs, McVey, you got a little bit of magic?
I'm going to follow.
Let me see what y'all got to say because I'm not really.
I'm going to be honest.
This is the one game where I'm kind of like split.
I don't know.
I don't know.
I love the matchup.
I love Kevin O'Connell and Sammy D.
versus McVeigh and Stafford.
I think they both had incredible seasons in their own respect.
I love what the Vikings have done all year long.
Like up until they got just whooped by the lines in control last week,
I'm sitting here thinking like, yo, this could be.
be the better team than the NFC then the Lions because the Lions have had so many injuries
on defense.
But the Lions just show time and time again that the culture, that the next man up mentality,
that everything that they got, the stuff that they're made of that Dan Campbell talks about,
they have.
So I am.
I'm kind of torn on this game.
I don't know if I'm being a prisoner of the moment.
I'm thinking, man, maybe the Vikings are one and done in the playoffs this year against
the Rams.
I'm going to go Vikings.
I've kind of been on them all year long.
I want to see them win.
I'm like rooting for them in a way.
Yeah.
So I'm going to go.
Vikings. I'm going to take the Vikings here. But it's going to be tough to go out to LA that young
defense has gotten better. You got Fisk. You got verse. You made his football as a rookie. They've been
firing as of late. They got a lot of weapons on offense. I know. They got all day players back
pretty much. I think the head coach having experience in these types of games is going to play a
huge factor in these things. You look at the last couple of games of the season. They end up
winning five straight going into the last week. They end up seeing a bunch of their starters. A lot
of teams had the, are they going to sit guys or they're not going to sit guys when we
shot the show last week.
Well, like, Sequin Barclay, he's going to go off.
Then, like, literally, 20 browsers is like, the sequel is not playing.
The minute the Rams kind of were what they were in the playoffs, Sean McVeigh is like,
I'm sitting all my guys.
That's what I'm doing.
The Rams beat the Vikings earlier in the year.
They didn't have T.J. Hawkinson.
However, you know, I think Sean knowing how to feel this pressure and how to have his team
understand what's going into it, I think Stafford in the playoffs is as dangerous as dangerous
gets.
They've been a sneaky team all year long in that NFC West category that was having a really difficult time shaking itself out until we got to the end of the season.
I like the Rams.
I like their juice going into this game.
I feel for the Vikings because they are a team that, you know, it wasn't as high on them as Will was.
However, it's awesome to see O'Connell and that culture and everybody got to rally around a guy like Sam Donald.
That kind of stuff fires me up.
How big does that blowing defeat affect that locker room going last week?
How quickly can you turn the page is the question they have to ask themselves.
But I think the Rams, being at the Rams is a win.
That's a win.
You don't have to travel.
You stay in your area.
You're not going to a cold area, a cold area, even though it's played in a dome.
There's still the weather.
There's still the holy shit.
It's cold.
When you're walking in from Hollywood hallway, it's a different environment.
These guys need to stay at home.
They are strong at the end of the year.
And that's kind of where my picks have all been this week.
But you kind of see that consistency when you watch the playoffs from years past.
I'm going to take the Rams.
Money line. I think the Rams win this game. It's one and a half spread. It's really a pick
him. I'm going to hit the Rams. Yeah, I'm going to take the Rams too. I just, after the Lions put the
fuck Stafford sign up after the game, I'm like, why am my man taking shots, uncounted shots for it?
I think he just takes strays. And he need to get back to, I know he want to play them
lions, get that opportunity to show those boys. Yeah. So. That's such a cool trade.
Because when you watch a trade happen, you're like, holy shit, the Rams just dummy the
the Lions in this trade. They go win a Super Bowl. And then it's like, all right, Lions,
that sucks for you guys. Now all of a sudden, Jared Goff is playing the way he is.
And they're like, golf's in his prime though. Like, they might have got with him at the right time.
I know. So it is, it is a cool little, like, both of them have won the trade. It's a fair day.
It was a great trade. Yeah. And I kind of love the Lions telling Stafford to go fuck himself.
Yeah. Because you know, as soon as you retire, they're like, we love you so much.
I know. Because you're in the heat of the moment.
It's like, he's not for the other team. Like that's, that's a, that's a, that's a, that's a
cool fan-based move.
Hey, I'm Stafford.
I'm so salty.
He's salty.
His wife be salty.
I'm so mad about it.
But when as soon as he retired, he's probably going to go back.
Oh, yeah, he's going to be the man there.
Probably.
He will be.
Guarantee.
I feel he's been to the Rams for a minute, though.
But he does establish so much in Detroit.
Winworth was at the Bengals for 10 years and then went and played for the Rams for six.
And now he's the man with the Rams.
With the Rams, exactly.
Huh?
If golf wins Stafford's out.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, I agree with that.
He wouldn't be remembered.
Which sucks because Stafford was doing incredible things of the Lions when they were shit.
I know shit.
And he done a lot in the city, a lot in the city.
Yeah, he's a lot for the city.
And you're going to learn everything you need to know about Sam Dargo in this school.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Because I was, he was poop.
When I was watching the Lions Vikings game, it was like fourth and two on the goal line.
On the goal line.
And Justin Jefferson got open.
He got enough separation to where Sam was comfortable in the podcast.
and just misses him.
And to me, I watched that play and I was like,
that right there might be the difference in a playoff game.
Because a playoff veteran quarterbacks
that are built for those moments,
like that ain't a miss.
Mahomes ain't missing that throw.
He was missing a lot of throw.
Josh Allen's not missing that throw.
What?
Stafford.
Lamar Jackson.
You got to playoff.
And the playoffs.
He's the playoffs.
That's the only reason I was biting my tongue.
Joe Burrell.
Joe Burrell's up.
But that, that play.
right there was like, ah, fuck, the Vikings might not be a playoff team this year like that.
He was playing terrible to me. I'm sorry against him. He plays fucking garbage. I mean, yeah,
I mean, they got blown out. Yeah, he was playing. I mean, those are those are,
those are going to make. Reds only came away with three points.
Vikings are going to sit back and sit there and think about throwing this guy $40, 50 million
dollars. They're not doing that. Those are the plays. They not doing that.
Specifically look at and think, like, those are the ones you got to make. And that's why we're not
going to pay you against those teams. Yes. Because they sit up there like, that's why we're not
paying them.
The person in the worst situation in that building is J.J. McCarthy.
Yeah.
Yeah.
If he does bad, like, they're still, like, let's say they go to JJ.
That next year, they don't match the record they have.
Oh, shit. Yeah, you're right.
Everyone's going to be looking at J.J.
You're like, yo, you fucking fall.
Get this motherfucker out of here.
Get him out of here.
We're saying.
We need sand back.
Meanwhile, he's going, you know, 500 of the Titans.
Yeah.
I have good news.
Hell yes.
Good news, boys.
I have a plus 1,000 fireballs he far left for us.
Yeah, the fireballsie parlay this week is brought to us by Fireball.
Fireball is the perfect shot for game day, whether you're sneaking in the,
or whether you're buying those sneaky little shoes before going into the stadium or going big with the fireball cake for your tailgate,
the pregame shot in the tailgate lot or a celebratory touchdown shot at the bar.
No matter what, it's guaranteed to ignite your game day.
Boys, listen up.
I have a parlay for you.
Let's hear it.
I have a parlay for you.
All right.
Chargers Money Line.
Love it.
Steelers Ravens under 43 and a half.
Love that.
Good.
Buccaneers, money line. Love it. Packers' Eagles over 45 and a half. Okay. Bill's Moneyline. That's a thousand. Those five picks plus 1,046.
Lock it in now before the sports will find out. Hey, wait, what you say about the bucks?
That's a hitter. What'd you say about the bucks?
I know, I know, I know, but I'm just, you got to think that these offense are going to be on attack.
without that. Without that pick?
Without that one, it's plus
$4.95. That's why.
That's what I'm saying. You've got to take a risk. Let's go
for it. Let's go for it. Wait, say it one more time, bro. Let me add that one back in.
Let's go over time. All right. Chargers
money line, bucks money line, bills money line,
And then the Steelers Ravens under 43 and a half.
And then the Packers Eagles over 45 and a half.
I'm in it.

You what? Hey, guys, it's us. The Jonas Brothers. I'm Joe. I'm Kevin. And I'm Nick. And guess what? We
created our own podcast called Hey Jonas. We invented a podcast? Well, we didn't invent it. We just
contributed to it. We're the first people to do podcasts. We get to ask other people questions because
we're sick and tired of being asked questions. Well, sick and tired is a strong way to put it,
but you know, tired and sick. Tired and sick. Listen to Hey Jonas on the Iheart radio app, Apple
podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Just listen. We don't care where you hear it.
What's up, fam? It's Isaiah Thomas. And I'm C.J. Toledano. It's our favorite time of the year on our
podcast point game, the playoffs.
We're digging into the biggest surprises of the season.
And I'm looking back on some of my greatest
playoff moments. If we didn't talk
ever again, I was hungry. You just
understood. That's how personal it got.
Wow. Then after that game seven,
Marquis come until he's like, you know I love you, dog.
You know, it's all love. This was just playoffs.
This was just basketball.
So listen to Point Game on the Iheart Radio
app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you

times when the mind becomes a difficult
place to live. This is
David Eagleman with the Inner Cosmos podcast, and for Mental Health Awareness Month,
we'll talk with singer-songwriter Jewel about anxiety.
I started living in my car, and then my car got stolen.
I was having panic attacks. I was agoraphobic.
This is a month of deeply personal and honest conversations about what happens when the brain goes off course.

Hey, it's Ashanti Plummer from Fud Around and Find Out.
This week, Aizzie Fudd and I sat down with Step and Curry.
Step talks pressure, confidence, and what it really takes to stay great.
There's different categories, I guess,
so I'm like conditioning, shooting drills where you try to simulate kind of games.
Look at her face.
We have a love-hate relationship with those
because you know you're getting something out of it.
You don't look forward to those days.
