Starting point is 00:03:52 Remember, this is not cumulative. This is not a season long list. If you got gripes, put them in the comments. If you got questions, put them in the comments. This is who I think based on just pure film. No narratives, no BS. This is a true film breakdown, junkie, nerdy. All right, let's get started with number six.
Starting point is 00:04:14 The New York Giants and Jackson Dart. Jackson Dart, to me, played one heck of a game. And he did it because he was under center. It's a new look over there for the Giants. Undercenter, smash-mouth football. Cam Scataboo, all these guys going crazy, Isaiah Likeley, Malik Neighbors, all these dudes. I was really impressed with the way he played. More importantly, I was really impressed with the game that offensive coordinator
Starting point is 00:04:40 Matt and Aggie called. I was with Matt and Aggie for a total of five years, three in Kansas City when he was a quarterback coach and two in Chicago. This is the first full year that he's been able to really dive deep and just call plays. It was unreal. They beat Dallas 28 to 20 on Sunday night football. I feel like the Cowboys and the Giants are always opening up Sunday night football at home. The stats were really efficient.
Starting point is 00:05:09 I would say watching the film, and we're going to break him down later in this show, his actual film. I would say it was good. There were some throws, a lot of underneath stuff, but really efficient moves of football, no interceptions, 134.2 rating. More importantly, almost 80% completion rate. The Cowboys defense, they're awful. They really are. It's hard.
Starting point is 00:05:33 You're throwing flat routes left and right. You're doing all this type of stuff. But he was really good running the football and honestly dove. 11 carries, 54 yards. Harbaugh, man, it just, it seems like Harbaugh has got that hard-nose Baltimore-style demeanor. And New York, if New York Giants can play like this, I think their defense has to get a little bit better, they are going to be a playoff team without a doubt. So I love the fact that they were able to convert nine out of ten third downs before the final kneel down.
Starting point is 00:06:04 That's right. 90 percent, you didn't have one single 20-yard completion. So it was a lot of a dink and dunk. So you have to stay ahead of the chains. They were a lot in third manageable. And that has to do everything with Jackson Darts' legs. I thought it was really, really good. Dart repeatedly moved the chains.
Starting point is 00:06:21 And here's the thing, too. I don't know the exact stat, but the Giants had five drives, I think, in the second half, and all of them were over six and a half minutes. I mean, they chewed up clock. They got in 22 personnel. They got in 13 personnel. They went to do it. The story of this game, that was Isaiah Likeley, him and Jackson Dart.
Starting point is 00:06:38 And I think that Jackson Dart throwing to Isaiah Likeley is very much like a Patrick Mahomes to Travis Kelsey connection. I'm not calling Jackson Dart Patrick Mahomes. What I'm saying is Matt Nagy is using Isaiah Likely exactly like Travis Kelsey over the the middle, short intermediate, let them run after catch, all this stuff. I called this back in March and Interful Live. I think that a reliable tight end for an offense is something that you need to have because if you don't have it, it's sort of like a safety blanket for Jackson Dart. And time after time again, on third down, he was coming to him and once again, is running. Established the physical tone. He had a 22-yard opening drive run, late hit penalty.
Starting point is 00:07:24 Cam Scadaboo, I just think when you can run around, you've got to protect yourself. It's a good thing to have. So yeah, Jackson Dart at number six. All right, let's move it up to number five. Lamar Jackson, Lamar Jackson, to me, could have been number one on the list, to be completely honest with you. They beat the Indianapolis Colts, 41, 23 on the road. And his numbers were really good.
Starting point is 00:07:48 The most important thing that I saw, 17 passing completions for, 324 yards. Zay Flowers is an absolute beast. I know he got hurt, but five catches, 150 yards, one touchdown receiving. He makes that entire offense go. Lamar Jackson, 68% through the air. One touchdown. 13 yards per attempt, though, is really, really good. Honestly, look, nimble running the football. Seven carries, 40 yards. He fumbled, lost, whatever. but he had three completions of over 20 yards. And the new offense with Declan Doyle, it announced itself on the first snap. Doyle opened up, under center, misdirection, play action, Jackson rolled all the way left,
Starting point is 00:08:36 Falunzee Flowers for 49 yards. I think you're going to see a more under center balance attack where it's not just Lamar Jackson in the shotgun. You're going to be able to throw left. You're going to be able to throw right. You're going to be able to use the entire side of the field. And I think that just in general, you're going to put them under center. You're going to have misdirections.
Starting point is 00:08:57 You're going to have play action. It's going to be a different offense than Lamar Jackson's really used to. But that Declan Doyle, Lamar Jackson relationship, we've talked about it before. It got started early. Like I said, we talked about Zay Flowers. I thought that he's a big key to this offense. I just think Flowers is. a guy that can run through the secondary. And you need somebody like that. And guys, why aren't we
Starting point is 00:09:27 talking about Derek Henry? I mean, it's like father time to me what he's able to do. So you get all these weapons. I know this is about Lamar Jackson, but you get all these weapons and you're able to actually use them in ways that makes sense. Think of a Ben Johnson style offense. It starts with a run game. But when you have a quarterback as accurate as Lamar, he announced himself to the world. Once again, it is his time. Let's go. All right. Number four, don't talk about them a lot. Trevor Lawrence, Jacksonville, Jaguars, holy Cali Ann Cone and Trevor Lawrence put on an absolute show. Embarrassed. Embarrassed. And we'll talk about this later. Embarrassed the Jacksonville or sorry, embarrassed the Cleveland Browns. Deshawn Watson on the other side. Didn't play great.
Starting point is 00:10:15 Really efficient. Longest completion, 32 yards, but 18 or 23. Almost 80% percent. completion. You're not seeing these attempts in all these guys, and I think it's offensively just sort of a mind shift and change. You're not seeing them throw 45 times. They're just super efficient when they do throw because they are under center and they're giving both run and pass. Some of the stuff they were doing was outstanding. Average 10 yards and attempt. I liked the fact that they established control immediately. The first two possessions of the game, this is just how you sort of just come in and impose your will on them.
Starting point is 00:10:59 Eight for 10, 110 yards, two touchdowns on the first two possessions, and Jacksonville scored on its first four possessions and led 24-0 at halftime. This was one of the better, you know, he could have ended, he could have ended at number one on my last. list. There's some other ones that I like. But here is the most important thing about this Liam Cohen offense and Trevor Lawrence and why Trevor Lawrence has been unlocked in year. I don't even know what year it is. It's taken forever. They got to win some playoff games.
Starting point is 00:11:32 Four touchdowns to four different receivers. Parker Washington went off. Josh Cameron went off. Brenton Strange went off. Jacoby Myers went off. Spreading four touchdowns across four players tells you that this offense is a perfect. match for the decision-making and the trust between Liam Cohn and Trevor Lawrence. And Cohn credited Lawrence with trusting all the available players. I love that. And Parker Washington, I think he still needs to get paid. He was the early catalyst.
Starting point is 00:12:01 Myers supplied the signature throw. But Washington, five catches, 83 yards and a touchdown. He had a diving 30-yard catch on third and seven. I mean, that throw moving to your left, like what do you see in his season? feet, his shoulders, his release, all that stuff. It was unbelievable of him just figuring out where to throw the football too. So I really do like Trevor Lawrence at 4. All right. Number three, the top three were very difficult. Number three, though, Buffalo Bill is Josh Allen. I know, I know he could have easily been one. You'll see who two and you'll see who one is. It was a
Starting point is 00:12:39 huge win in Reliatt Stadium. You saw Josh Allen after the game figure out, hey, you know, let's do this. We're so excited. We wanted to rely on stadium. But he beat Houston on the road, 20 to 29, 334 yards, 70% completion rate, two touchdowns, no interceptions, 11 and a half yards per attempt. You're seeing these interfa off. You've seen these yards per attempt. That's a really good marker on how well you're pushing the football down the field. That yards per attempt is sky high. And once again, like, two rushing touchdowns. I mean, Josh Allen, it's unbelievable. The most important, number, I think, though, you know, he's going to run for yardage. Only two sacks for 11 yards. He fumbled, but he didn't make any bad mistakes. He didn't make those huge mistakes that sometimes we see Josh Allen a couple years ago. He hadn't really done that in about a couple years. Sometimes you see him make them, and it's this vaunted Texas defense. I was just super impressed. The play caller is obviously Joe Brady and new offensive coordinator, Pete Carmichael. I love the fact that they're too.
Starting point is 00:13:45 a team again. It goes back to their New Orleans Saints days. Joe Brady knows Josh Allen really will, obviously being the OC and the quarterback coach there. I would say that this is a signature win. Everyone had a pick of the Texans going to the AFC championship game, maybe the Super Bowl. I think you're going to get a rematch of this in the AFC championship game. I still think the Texans are really good. CJ Stroud played really well. Josh Palmer stepped up. I think the number one thing that I saw was that DJ Moore unlocked this offense, specifically them attacking downfield. Allen completed five passes of at least 30 yards of regular season, career high.
Starting point is 00:14:29 Just crazy. I mean, I can't tell you the last time DJ Moore and Dalton Kincaid, or really any Buffalo Bills, had two 100-yard receivers, Dalton Kincaid versus two eye safety look was open in the middle of DJ Moore. Obviously a lot of catches. Kincaid had catches of 38, 40, and 35. Dude is an absolute beast. And DJ Moore scored from 43 yards.
Starting point is 00:14:53 But I think ultimately this is the receiver that unlocks this offense for Josh Allen and a Buffalo. The music you love. Your favorite radio stations. Everywhere you go. The podcasts everyone's talking about. All in one place. And it's free. I heart radio

The Improvised Character Comedy Podcast where each week a new panel of artists discuss their craft. Join us for a panel of wellness influencers. What I try to do is faux journal.
Starting point is 00:17:51 I don't know. Have you guys heard of faux journaling? Yeah, it's reading. It's called reading. So we don't like to use that word anymore. A panel of New Yorker cartoonists. Have you guys done Terry Gross's Peloton class? No!
Starting point is 00:18:03 I've been dying too. I'm so sorry. I'm seeing a reading of Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes by Audra McDonald's at the Wonderland Bookstore on 14th. That's crazy. I went to the Wonderland Bookstore yesterday and I heard Nora Jones do a reading of Zero Dark 30. No way. You have to come to the last bookstore though. Kim Cottrell is reading the guitar tabs of yesterday.
Starting point is 00:18:26 A panel of Eurovision participants. And we do a little Halloween sometimes. Does the Pope dress up? He winks on Halloween. He gets right up next to the microphone. I hear you can almost hear the eyelashes hit each other. You never seen Italy so quiet as when the Pope gets up to wink on Halloween. Listen to artists on artists on artists on artists on the IHard Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Starting point is 00:18:51 Bill's. All right. Top two. What are we doing? Caleb Williams, number two. And you can almost say one A and one B, but we'll go Caleb Williams, number two. Just a pummeling on the rest. Road, Carolina, beat them, 5937. Chicago set a franchise record for points in season opener. Once again, you're seeing sort of a pattern here of this list. 21 to 29, 269 yards, 72% completion rate. A lot of easy completions, but the way Caleb Williams played to me was his decision making was better than I've ever seen it. And look, the film, and we're going to break him down in this podcast right here,
Starting point is 00:19:36 for it, look at the chapters, do all that stuff. He, the film doesn't even do it justice. I'm going to show 10 or 12 plays, whatever it is. Just get an NFL pro subscription or do something and get in there and watch the all 22 of all the plays, not just the short intermediate stuff that we're going to show or the deep stuff, just the decision making on the run game. Look, everyone's going to say, hey, the run game should get all the credit. And rightfully so, they ran for 200.
Starting point is 00:20:06 991 rushing yards and six touchdowns. However, it was a 31-31 tie, and the whole game, Caleb Williams just stayed calm, cool, selected. Roma Dunzee was great. Khalif Raymond. I mean, what a guy stepping up? There's dependable targets. Here's the one thing that's a scary thought for people that are playing offense
Starting point is 00:20:30 for, or playing defense against the Chicago Bears. Here's a scary thing. Colson Loveland, no catches, only two targets. He's one of the best receiving tight-ins. If they get him going and figure it out, Caleb Williams to me, to the moon, somehow the Chicago Bears look better than they did last year. It's sort of just unbelievable. And then honestly, the number one spot, I could have gone either way,
Starting point is 00:20:53 but to me, the way that Brock Purdy played against the Los Angeles Rams, this vaunted L.A. Rams, Miles Garrett. I know Aaron Donald didn't play, all this stuff. They beat the Rams. They didn't beat them. They throttled the Rams 27 to 7 in Melbourne, Australia, all the way back on September 10th. Really efficient. And not only throwing the football, but I don't think you guys understand when Kyle Shanahan has this type of offense installed, they did so much cool stuff in the run game.
Starting point is 00:21:25 And it's a lot of motion. It's a lot of shifts. It's a lot of different checks for the quarterback. It's really difficult at times have to understand which got us in motion. It's just constant. He did great with that. I thought he used his legs really well. Five carries, 29 yards, threw for 205 yards, three touchdowns.
Starting point is 00:21:43 Had that one interception on the corner route to George Kittle. Got to see that. You've got to throw better. But Clay Cubiak and Kyle Shanion, they're a genius. The big storyline for him is three different touchdown targets. Purdy scored, Demarkis Robinson, Mike Evans, Debo Samuel. Debo Samuel, first of all, looks better, I think. Benny has in the past couple years. He's black. He's back in that uniform. I love the thought
Starting point is 00:22:10 of how he played. More importantly, Mike Evans on third down. He was an absolute beast. He's able to unlock that offense and get one-on-one coverage through. You've got to cover CMC. You've got to cover George Kittle. You got to cover all these things. And Mike Evans in the red zone is just game over. And then they've had a 99-yard drive where he made so much. many good plays time after time after time. The reason why Brock Purdy's number one is because, man, the Rams, everyone thought they were going to get a walk away into, like they were going to walk away with the Lombardi Trophy, not so fast. This is my top six. I hope you really like it. All right, we just got done talking all this about my top six quarterbacks and we ended
Starting point is 00:22:55 with number one. But we're going to start with number one in this film breakdown session. They played unbelievable. The San Francisco 49ers are a team to look out for. Let's get into the breakdown. All right, Brock Purdy. Let's get into it, man. This is a fun one to me. I thought he played extremely well. I thought Debo Samuel looked really good. Look at all these motions and shifts and everything that in between and then just Mike Evans, just right there. A couple things about this. One, I like how he started all the way over here, motioned all the way over there. Boom, boom. You sit up. Just pretty much a way to get a way to get. the defense to react to certain ways and then you're going to have Debo on a shallow cross, CMC on there. I mean, I'm not exactly sure what's happening here. All I do know is the Rams
Starting point is 00:23:39 are in a two-high look. It looks like it's man. Okay. Is it man? Is it not? I don't know. Hard to tell Debo coming over here to hear shallow cross. I think Mike Evans is supposed to have a basic cross and then you have CMC with a choice route. So one, two, three, But I love this. I love the fact that Mike Evans is just here to be a feel guy. Look, it's between five guys. His route, I'm almost guaranteed, is supposed to be there. Brock Purdy and him are already on the same page. It's just a feel. He's already starting to throw. I don't think he's running a hitch right there. I literally think he's supposed to have a basic with a shallow and then a cross right here.
Starting point is 00:24:27 So a really nice job, sort of staying back. I think they were trying to in and out this, which means when there's a bunch coverage. But good luck. Now it's a triple stack. So it's not just a bunch. A lot of teams run this out of a bunch. It's a triple stack. Nice start there for Brock Purdy, puts it on them.
Starting point is 00:24:47 Brock's arm looks a lot better, weirdly enough, than in years past. He looks smooth, left foot up forward. Trent Williams, awesome. Miles Garrett, not so much. It's pretty, is that Miles? Yeah, Miles Garrett right here. Pretty amazing that Brock was not sacked at all. So there's the,
Starting point is 00:25:09 and we've got to give credit to the big hogs up front for that. Nice job I'm not leading him into this area, into danger. So let's look at it from this view as well, understanding what's going on, right? Little motion, boom, not chipping Miles Garrett. it, nice little throw right there. It's really good stuff, man. Look how quickly compact the releases. Boom. Throw it. First down. All right next play right here. Crazy formations. Like, is it a
Starting point is 00:25:40 trips bunch? Is it not? Everything's in between. I mean, this is Kyle Shanahan offense. They try to play a lot of too high. Are they coming down? Are they not? And why do they motion and shift and do all this? Well, it's to put the defense in a lot of different alignments and figuring out like, hey, what's going on? Does this look familiar to you? So it's a very similar play, not the exact same. Corner route, but now it's out of 22 or personnel, two backs, so 21 personnel with Mike Evans right here. They just hide all of their splits. It's a shallow cross by juice.
Starting point is 00:26:20 It's a Dodge slant route, and then it's a second slant route. So it's really giving the defense a look of something else, but then getting to a pretty simple read where it's one to two to three right there so it's not that difficult to do but another big time conversion for first down right here and i i thought when mike evans came over here that he was just going to be an outside receiver but man they moved him everywhere so such a nice job and a lot of this stuff is not preconceived it's like hey let's just read one it's pure progression two and then this third one, I think that's by CMC all the way out here. And all your eyes, all Brock's eyes are going is looking at this defender.
Starting point is 00:27:08 You all, you want to have space. That's the space, right? If this guy was to be right here, that's the space and that's why you have juice sitting down on the shallow cross. Just a lot of people are open. They're doing buzz. I think this guy's wrong. They're buzzing down in.
Starting point is 00:27:23 Hook, curl defender going back. Nice quick, release, throw. Boom. There we go. Look at that. Awesome work. Let's just watch his eyes here. Motion across.
Starting point is 00:27:38 As soon as 53 goes, Brock's already starting to throw. Come on now. It's like taking candy from a baby. So good. All right, next play, under center. Quarterbacks, if you are a young quarterback, you better learn how to drop back from under center with a seven-step drop.
Starting point is 00:27:59 Favorite throw. favorite route of the entire day. Let's watch this. A little play action, bomb, boom. Oh, no, this is the wrong one. Oh, I got ahead of myself, because it looks exactly like it. Interception, worst throw of the day for Brock Purdy.
Starting point is 00:28:14 So this is definitely not my favorite throw of the day. That's funny. I thought it was something else because it looks identical. So let's break down what happened. A tight split. A lot of times with this corner route by Kittle, you'd run a post.
Starting point is 00:28:27 Instead, it's a tight split pylon. Go deep, hit the pylon. and then you're just running a sail route in route something over there so it's everything going left right there's one there's two or it's really an alert and there's three you want to be able to one have a good eye on this corner if this corner falls off on this deep pylon which is a 40-yard throw then you want to throw this from corner route the only thing I'd don't like here in the route concept, which is not saying a lot because I love a lot of stuff
Starting point is 00:29:08 about Shane Ann's offense. You got to have a flat. You don't have a flat route right now. Your flat route is a draw fake by the running back and then going over. So Pertish eyes should be on this flat defender. It's three deep, four under. There's the bus safety. He's hook curl. He's hook curl. Here's flat. Here's flat. There's nothing over there. And so this works because this corner route takes it this corner route takes it over top and you want to attack this area right here if you have someone right there check it down so bad throw about the flat defender really probably didn't see the flat defender sometimes short quarterbacks that's the case they also have a draw off this too so now you're expecting 26 to get to the flat all the way
Starting point is 00:29:56 over here. There's just play call. I'd love to see him over here going to the flat. Another thing, too, is they were always chipping. Like, hey, this isn't a chip, but it's an inside release, helps this tackle, chip this guy, help him, protect the edges as a must. Can't have this happen. This is the one bad throw of the game. If he's over there, it happens, right? It's good. Just didn't see the flat defender, honestly. I thought it was a corner stop in the game. but it wasn't. Motion over. Going over there.
Starting point is 00:30:30 Boom, boom, boom. Here we go. Toss, throw. Not good. All right. Next play right here. Once again, another motion. Exactly what they are really good at.
Starting point is 00:30:42 Two high safeties plus corners. Now they're just playing. It looks like it is quarters and a half over here with eyes and vision here. See what happens with this. dude another third down conversion for Mike Evans let's freaking go switch release up top and it's pretty much a sticks route right you're going to switch release you're going to run a curl route past the sticks it looks like it's third and 12 here so it's quite the distance you're going to have debo samuel come into the middle of the field and then you're going to have a spray release
Starting point is 00:31:19 curl route as well you always want to start over the ball number one And then you go one to two, one to two off of the squeeze. Well, Chase, what's the squeeze? Let's figure it out. You have protection here. So not only are you handling Miles Garrett by a presence alignment, which means you're close, you're probably going to chip him and then go to the flat. Same thing over here.
Starting point is 00:31:43 Chip, chip, presence, stepping up in the pocket. And so the squeeze is, I think that's number two is coming here. eyes want to start here. If this defender takes this one, then you're going to throw it here. If this defender without the flat goes that way, then you want to throw here. However, if you have quarters, which this is the case, he's got a quarter, he's got a quarter, he's got half, he's the field safety. If you've got quarters, you want to work to the quarter side. This is just a beautiful play all the way around so many things going through the quarterback's head. Oh, not only that, there's a overload over here. Well, guess what? You're overloading three to get a three-on-three matchup.
Starting point is 00:32:26 However, how many guys... So genius. How many guys do the 49ers have one, two, three, four, five, five on that side. Here's another thing, too. We have this in... It's called three-jet chip or two-jet chip. It's jet is, but it's Miles Garrett. So this tied-in, could stay on that side, but he's going to travel, this is what I'm guessing they did, he's going to travel to Miles Garrett's side. Every time, Miles Garrett, you're getting chipped, you're getting four hands on. You are not game wrecking. I don't care if you're an all pro or not. Nice step up, nice throw, great throw. So he sees Aaron Donald, or, sorry, Miles Garrett over here, come on over, we're good. Okay, you're not beating four hands,
Starting point is 00:33:16 right? One, two, three. He sees it. Steps up. looks this way to get this guy to jump over here. Perfect throw. This is the throw of the game. This is the one I was talking about. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven. Hitch, hitch, hit, ball. DeMarcus, let's go.
Starting point is 00:33:35 I love this so much. DeMarcus, Robbins. Like, let's freaking go, Robinson. A couple things. One, once this guy goes, hey, quarterbacks, we said it earlier, learn a under center seven-step drop. Make sure you're under center.
Starting point is 00:33:52 Make sure you're seven step dropping because this is all the rage. This is coming back. You have this shell look. Robinson just run, bite through it. Let's see it. Got Mike Evans as a cheese. Really had everyone open. So you see how he widens and then goes over there?
Starting point is 00:34:12 Reason for that. If he goes now, this corner would drop kick for this post. So here's you widened deep cross. Post route. Post route just has to run through this quarters. You only have to worry about this safety right here. That's where your eyes are. You know you're going to beat them. They're all just there. At that point, you're like, well, who's open? Not so fast. Give me two hitches. Throw that thing, 45, 55 yards on a dime. And because Mike Evans goes like this, he makes the entire play. He keeps it skinny. This corner can no longer drop kick to get back. Dude, so nice. It is so nice. You got to see it twice, baby. Okay, under center. Look this guy. Make sure he's not there. You got to trust the receiver to run past that and you got to trust Mike Evans to hold this corner. It's exactly where his eyes are. Come on now. Are you kidding me? Pretty strong arm. Strong armed them. All right. All right. Third quarter. Next play right here. There's Miles Garrett. What do you know? They have someone right there. Might not be chipping them. Good throw. Good route. Not a good throw, actually. A couple things. I don't even know. I don't even know what they're doing. Like he's going high, he's going low, he's coming in, and then this is an alert. So this is called an alert, which means, hey, if you got it, take it. A ball sort of dies on pretty here. We're not just going to break down all the good ones. We've got to break down some of the bad ones. Look at Debo Samuel, though, rolling, like over here. I'm trying to just, figure it out, right? There's like crossers, crossers, here's the out. Ah, this is third down two.
Starting point is 00:36:02 Interesting, they're throwing way past the sticks. The sticks are right here. And the closest guy to the stick other than the running back is George Kittle and he's five yards away. So they're definitely throwing past the sticks. Got to catch this though. But got to get this throw out there. One, two, three, hitch ball. Throw it. One, two, three, hitch ball. Ah, not so good. Right? beating it with the ball out. CMC could have had him. I mean, guys are open everywhere. See if there's anything in general here.
Starting point is 00:36:34 That makes it a little weird. One, two, three. Boom. Yeah, it's three plant. You see this one, too. Weird how he goes all the way over there with that foot off the ground and then all the way over there.
Starting point is 00:36:45 So not the best mechanics on this one. Comes it open. I don't think he can fully get through that because of the pocket, but Mr. O'O. All right next play one-on-one red zone. There ain't nothing to it, guys. There ain't nothing to it.
Starting point is 00:36:59 Just throw this thing up. Red zone target, so good. This is a run, by the way. 13 personnel, or that's actually a running back. So 22 personnel, two backs, two tight ends. Right, here we go. Just a fade. Just there's nothing to it.
Starting point is 00:37:15 Look how far away he gets to see his release. Watch this quarterback. He gets away from the center. One, two, three, four. And then just as able to, and because the DB's not looking, he can throw it on a line at the back of his head. It's on a back shoulder.
Starting point is 00:37:31 It's just on a line to the back of his head. Not a lot of guys can make this throw. Not a lot of guys can make this catch. This is absolutely a run. And you're just looking one-on-one. It's just an alert. If you like it, throw it. But I love how he got this.
Starting point is 00:37:48 I love everyone lined up over here. They're in goal-line defense. If it's one-on-one with Mike Evans, he's going to unleash. He's going to unlock Brock Purdy's. Come on love this. Yeah. Flex on.
Starting point is 00:37:59 All right, game 17 to 7. Here we go. Motion over to 4 by 1 right here. All right. Once again, another show. Look, now we're going from 4 by 1 to empty. It's all tight. It's good.
Starting point is 00:38:14 I put this on here because it's more of Debo. This isn't a very amazing throw or anything like that. But you're just putting a lot of stress, right? You're building in leverage with this guy going out. And it's just a little option route. I just wanted to watch Debo right here because I think it's a really good route. There we go. I mean, it's really just Debo, clear out, post, wrap route, something over here.
Starting point is 00:38:42 So you really want to read one to two. College of Usecheck played a really nice game as well. Really impressed with him. When you get Debo with leverage lined up on Lake, I think that's Lake, right? You go over so you motion here, now you motion outfield. Now they have to have an empty check. There's just a bunch of space. Really bad job by this DB.
Starting point is 00:39:06 He should be outside with this buzz safety coming in here. It's really single high zone. DB's playing like quarters should never do that. I just think Debo looks a lot better. Next play right here, three by one, motion over to a two by two. Tight split, move the back. I mean, they're always constantly moving. They're always figuring out what are they doing.
Starting point is 00:39:25 they're going this motion. It's like, what are we doing? Got to put it on here because this looks so good. So underrated with his legs. They've run this play about four times before. They've done it out of different personnel groupings, shallow cross, double slant, right, with a chip flat. Here it is. That's one, that's two, that's three. I think that's kiddle right there.
Starting point is 00:39:51 Yeah, that's kiddle. Sort of falls, sort of moves. brought pretty high stepping though let's go such an underrated athlete truly Mark Robinson's going here your kiddle go in there as soon as they go single high zone place source sinks
Starting point is 00:40:07 are they blitzing are they not not so fast we're going back I don't love the crossing of both of these guys with trying to throw a slant too it's right in the window don't matter did he just high step oh my god he did
Starting point is 00:40:23 let's go all right last play right here Debo Samuel this is just a scramble drill he's gonna end up throwing all the way over here motion and out what are they doing right here I don't even know it's the same play same play they've done trying to get Debo run to space so good motion I don't they're trying to stack it's here Debo Kaelin Black is there I mean they're trying to get this guy open I say all this and we break all this down it's just because there's not a lot of guys
Starting point is 00:40:59 that had a better debut than Brock Party. I mean, the dude is fired up. They look healthy. Can they stay healthy, though? That's the thing. Good for Debo getting this touchdown in the first game back. That's a dime, too. That's not an easy throw. You think that's an
Starting point is 00:41:15 easy throw? It's not an easy throw. Brock Party, man. All right, you guys saw there Brock Party just obliterated the Los Angeles ramps. He is number one on my list. Now, we are going to get to Caleb Williams, number two on my top six list. The film does not even do it justice for what he's able to bring to the table. You guys are going to freak out. Let's get into it. All right,
Starting point is 00:41:42 here we go. Caleb Williams, look how fast this ball gets snapped. Use so many different ways to attack the defense to Luther Bird, M-I-Z-O-U, let's go. I thought Caleb Williams, dude, he played fantastic and it wasn't just the past game it was his escapeability it was his pocket presence it was everything this carolina panthers defense didn't play well and i don't care what pff says i think they had them ranked as the 27th best quarterback i'm not exactly sure but i heard that through the great what are we doing i love this um it's play seven of the game and it's called a cheetah snap They're third and forever. It's to really take the pressure off of Caleb.

Starting point is 00:46:19 Look what happens with this center. He looks right, he looks left. All you're going to have is a deep curl, deep curl. You're going to have right over the ball. I think Colcombat, or Colson Loven, whoever that is, runs the wrong route. But you want to start inside out, feel the squeeze. And when you do, just watch how he manipulates the defense. All right, first of all, everyone's standing.
Starting point is 00:46:42 Look how everyone's standing on the D line. So he gains that extra second. It's needed. Really nice route by Luther Burden. There's no way those guys should be next to each other. Five-man rush, though. It's man-to-man. Hey, throw the open man.
Starting point is 00:46:57 I like it. He ends up working down here to Luther. I think Luther's going to have an outstanding year. A little bit of a behind throw, but I love snaps there. No one is ready. It's the small things that make the quarterback, man. I'm telling you, he is, let's turn this out forward for this breakdown. He is on another level.
Starting point is 00:47:20 in terms of just processing everything that's going on. And also just taking advantage, like you can look here to move this safety right here. Here's the safety. And then the outside leverage of this DB up there, it all makes sense to me. Boom, right? Not a great job passing off this game. He's throwing this and these two guys are in the same area. Luther's going to curl around and when he does, it's put it on him.
Starting point is 00:47:44 It's actually a good ball. I know I said it, I didn't think it was that great, but it is. Look, at 95. That's what you want. Called Cheetah Count. Set it. One, two, three, four, five. Good rhythm.
Starting point is 00:47:56 Eyes here. Boom. Really nice. Around that defensive tackle. Nice catch by Luther Burden. All right. So here we go. Play two.
Starting point is 00:48:06 Get an empty. Another thing I saw was cadence. So different types of cadence. We just saw Cheetah. This is on the second one. Not there. It gives everyone a chance to see what's going on. And it's just a man.
Starting point is 00:48:18 He's got him. He's got there. So you're going to have outside leverage on all this because you have a whole player. This whole player funnels stuff to him. And this whole player is responsible for any crossing routes, but also responsible for the quarterback run. All right. Carolina was using this mush rush where they're just sort of just, see this guy right here? They're sort of just hanging around.
Starting point is 00:48:39 They're not rushing past them. They're rushing to them. They're trying to collapse the pocket. And when that happens, Caleb just takes off and runs. It is such a nice job getting to the touchdown. Let's break down where his eyes were and everything like that. So it's pretty much a sit route and out route by Roma Dunzee and a go ball. If that's a safety, you know it's a, you know it's man to man.
Starting point is 00:49:06 So let's see where his eyes are looking. He's looking up top. I'm not quite sure. I would have worked down here. I think it's a slant and I think it's a stick nod. So he is trying to work a stick nod. Here's what I would say, though, try to hold this guy here, and you're trying to nod between those two guys.
Starting point is 00:49:24 A sticks there, a nod's going there. But also just look at this little, it's easier said than done, right? He's trying to get that double move to Colson Loveland. And when he does, he doesn't look off the safety. He goes, it's okay. Go make a move. Go make a play. He looked fast, didn't he?
Starting point is 00:49:44 Truly, fast. So you have a four-man rush His eyes are going to go straight there Would love for him to hold this safety Safety, safety runs across As soon as it happens Right, there it is He's going with the eyes
Starting point is 00:49:58 Colston Loveland You're off of it There's the number two Not there, sprint out, go So good It's not like you're rolling out to the left It's you're out running number three This is, he looks fast
Starting point is 00:50:13 He looks fast really nice work nice job trying to get colson leveling the ball hadn't had the ball two targets i think just hold your eyes there two targets i think is houdini back there man he really is truly i'm running loose sleeves and all next play three by one formation let's motion over a lot of conversation right there there's only six guys here at the line of scrimmage can see what happens. Hut, right? He's using his cadence. He's trying to figure out what's happening. I mean, come on. Throat. It was a human highlight reel. It really was. Human highlight reel on so many different areas. I'm not sure why he didn't pull the trigger because it's just an in-rout,
Starting point is 00:51:05 sort of grab route. It's an option route, break in, break out, and it's a corner route. So he's working over here. Love for him to hit this right here. I'm not sure if they were on the same page. Let's see what happens. Maybe he couldn't see him. That happens. That dude looks massive. But once again, let's go spread it out. Let's go throw this football. I don't know if there's a better quarterback on the move. Who's more accurate? And Roman Dunezay with a big, big play down the field. Here it is from the back view. Kaleef Raymond. who had an unbelievable game, to be honest with you. This would have probably put him over 100 yards receiving.
Starting point is 00:51:49 Open. I'm guessing he didn't see him here. That would be my guess. And that happens. Stuff happens, man. Right here, this dude's a huge human being. There's a lot of mucky-muck right there. Going to the right spot, though.
Starting point is 00:52:04 Five-man rush. Take the inside. Doesn't happen. Blown coverage, Ramadunese. Moss! Get Mossed! All right, play four of the breakdown two by two formation. Oh, we're in Pistol now. Now we got Colcomette moving over.
Starting point is 00:52:21 Play action from Pistol. Ah, missed it. But not so fast, he was open. These, these, they are rolling with plays right now. So I think this was a little bit of a predetermined notion right here because you're going to have Colson Levin at the end of the day coming on this deep over. route it's a double post right so they're in 12 personnel this sort of hides it split they're in a slot formation slots up top motion over get set chip
Starting point is 00:52:54 flat through route post route deep cross route okay sit down in the middle love that very simple throw this first cover four if this safety hits down if not you're throwing one to two to three here's the here's the here's the thing, which I think confused him a little bit. They go to this cover two look. And usually in cover two, you're like, oh, there's no way you're going to get the deep cross. Well, 55 gets completely lost because he goes to strength, which is the four receiver side. And Colston's right there. He ends up checking it down. And I'm okay with that. It's the right read. You're playing on time. And how many yards have to catch? Five, ten, 15 yards extra when you change. When you
Starting point is 00:53:42 check it down to your running back. So nice job. Love the play call, chip flat. Probably got off this right here because he saw it was two, didn't know this back would go there. Nice job throttling by Levelyn, but that's a catch that Leveland could have had
Starting point is 00:53:58 that no one's talking about. But look at that. Look at all this space. I don't know why they're blitzing, three's blitzing off the edge, like what? When you give up 59 points, there's bound to be some open stuff. All right, next play right here.
Starting point is 00:54:12 13 personnel. One, two, three. 13, one back, three tight ends. Unbelievable. So many different personnel groupings, so many different formations. Dime of the day on the entire NFL. There's not many people out there that will make this throw, more or less even try this throw.
Starting point is 00:54:36 Wow. I got really excited about this. They're doing this out of 13. pretty much they're going to end up blocking coming back blocking post route to clear it out half back in the flat and this is called a little slide route where you're sliding or a late route whatever it is one to two roll right that it doesn't matter about coverage right here it just matters do you have the balls enough to throw this and he's all the way over here look what he throws this, right? Good job. I don't know if he saw him or not, but he has to be able to see
Starting point is 00:55:14 that while also being able to throw this. If this defender goes that way, you throw here, if not, it's just one-on-one. When that linebacker's back has turned, he's getting hit when he throws this, I'm so glad Colcombeck caught this because this is going to end up being one of the best throws of the entire NFL year. Okay, you bring Loveland over, come back, block, help in 87. Levelin's going to, or sorry, Komet's going to sneak out. And by the way, he's doing this with the guy in his face and he can't even set his feet. Rolling to the right. Dude, what?
Starting point is 00:55:51 We got to see this three times. Boom, boom. Nice job getting on out there. He probably gets a little bit wider than he wants because of where he needs to set up for the pocket because five got this. He's not even able to set his feet. This is crazy. So good. Motion over. Here we go. Let's start this playover. All right. Next play right here. I'm going to motion over. Watch this.
Starting point is 00:56:23 A lot of guys up there. What's happening? But there's four guys back there. So you know it's not a pressure you can't hold. This is the jump man throw. It's a human highlight reel over here by Khalif Raymond. And I don't know what else. Everything's covering. Everything's covered. So it's a flat route. He runs an end and then you're trying to go like a post route over top of it. You're trying to get this safety right here to bite up on Luther Burden and throw this thing to Khalif over top. Five steps.
Starting point is 00:57:01 No one's even remotely where they should be. He should be further over here. You see this safety there so you can throw that. Clef Raymond look good too. I mean, they got three good receivers, dude. Luther, Rome. Luther, Rome, Khalif, Colston, Loveland, DeAndre Swift just got paid. It's got all the weapons.
Starting point is 00:57:20 Like that he pulled that back. I mean, wow, six rushing touchdowns. But, man, the game belonged to Caleb, the way he saw it, right? Jit flat. Luther's job is to clear it out. You've got to see this safety come down. That's what he does. Their rush plan was so bad.
Starting point is 00:57:39 Look at this, by the way. That looks so familiar, the fourth down from last year. Let's see from this view. Probably going to be even better from this view if I can stop it. If I'm going to get it exactly where it should be. Come on, bro. Zoom in right here, Producer Grant. What are we doing?
Starting point is 00:58:02 What are we doing? Just showing off. Nice catch though. Let's play right here. Empty again. They're switching it up. You just saw them under certain in 13. Now you got empty. Got speed on the field.
Starting point is 00:58:16 It's the exact same play they ran earlier. It's no different. This is their third and long play. Curl, deep curl, post over top. Single high zone, single high zone, too high, reading this safety. So let's go through the process. Ends up being too high, but this guy is so deep so Caleb sees him. There's also a lot of stuff underneath.
Starting point is 00:58:40 It's second and long, by the way, not third and long. Sorry. A lot of people underneath. It's a wrap route right here, curl right there, go route, or through route right there. Luther Bird, man. This is the second time. It's the exact same time. You're just attacking this weak zone right here.
Starting point is 00:58:57 Colston is a pool route, right? The cheese, and then it can be a curl or that. This is what the first play was supposed to look like. Look at him throw this, though. It's not even a good pocket. Right? And he's able to whip that thing in there. It's stupid.
Starting point is 00:59:15 He knows exactly what he's doing, too. Looking it off, making sure. That's where you want to go. Why, if you're the Panthers? Why is there space right here? There should not be that much space. The fact of the matter is he took advantage of that space. And he saw that space.
Starting point is 00:59:30 Even this throw too, he can't really step into it. He falls, perfect. Perfect throw. Two by two, motion over to three by one. Checking it out. Seeing this backer here could be blitzing. Need to figure it out. What are we doing?
Starting point is 00:59:45 Right? Ah, all right, not so fast. Probably sends the line this way to help, which she does. And just, what do you want me to do? I don't know what to break down. It's just a feel for the pocket. That's unlike anything I've really ever seen. So what they're trying to do, and I love this because they've run this a thousand times before,
Starting point is 01:00:10 Khalif on a stutter, go through route to hold this safety and bring in something over here. It's a very simple read. One, alert this first man to two. They don't get it. He doesn't force it. He doesn't just throw it away. You can't throw this. It's not good.
Starting point is 01:00:26 It's not there. Could probably get here and throw that. Not so fast when he attaches who's got the quarterback? Nobody. Nobody, baby. So good. We've got to see it from this angle. Right?
Starting point is 01:00:44 I'm trying to hit that double move. That stutter go. Bringing Roma Dunzee over there. Rome's open. Rome is open. She got to find them. But he said, you know what? If I can take it to myself.
Starting point is 01:00:56 Two rushing touchdowns? The feel of the pocket. They're not even trying to tackle him. I don't know what they're doing They can't see him or something and then he just outruns everyone. This is stupid Look at the speed. Good butt block by Luther Burton. All right next play right here hurry it up Get up there run the hurry up. No one's ready once again Truly one two three hitch ball just a miss. I'm not exactly sure what happened here I think they're running double post and an over route, just a miss throw. This was the weird one to me. One, two, three, hitchball. Boom. Crazy. Not much to break down there. Just the miss one. Let's see his feet right here.
Starting point is 01:01:41 Can't just break down all good ones. Colson Levin's wide open. That's his target. I mean, he would have been running for a long time. There's no one there. So it's not like they didn't try to get him the football, but got to get him a catch early. One, two, three. Maybe he was supposed to sit down? I don't know. He's run a couple wrong routes. Maybe he should sit down. I don't know. Not a lot there. Just a miss. All right, next play. Two by two formation. See what's going on here. Right? Trying to blitz. Maybe not trying to blitz. A little motion. Just another. It's just playing backyard ball because when he hits his drop, they're trying to hit this slant route. He's a shallow cross. Right, right here. That's one. That's two. Nothing's there. These guys are here. Now let's just
Starting point is 01:02:34 make a move. And let's continue to hit the shallow cross where no one's there and by time. They could not get pressure on them. And I think it's because two things, I think the Chicago Bears' offensive line is better than you think. And I think that the Carolina Panthers defensive line is not that great either. But they're just running a shallow cross right here and right here. Boom, boom. Nice throw. So good. All right, here we go. Third down looks like third and five. There's three mandate. You ever see that Madden, you ever played Madden and that's Engage 8? This is what it is. What does Caleb Williams do to it? They have seven to block eight. They all bail out. Good job protecting.
Starting point is 01:03:15 That's got to be the worst feeling for a defense to understand, hey, you know what? I'm going to find my quick throw. Let me go through. Let me have a stop route and a wrap route. So it really should be going to this wrap. But when they're jumping out like that, he reads it low to high. as soon as this flat defender gets out before this hook curl can get there. I mean, they've got four over three. This is covered. Not with timing.
Starting point is 01:03:38 It's not. Not with timing. I thought that timing was really good with Caliph. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. Engage eight with Madden. Right? Let's just stop right there. Luther's going to clear it out.
Starting point is 01:03:55 I mean, he was going to be open too. Look at Luther. Boom. But the timing and the rhythm of this row, excellent. No notes. All right. last play right here. What are they going to do? Are they going to quarterback sneak it? Not so fast. By the way, it looked like they jumped a little bit. I'm not going to tell anyone.
Starting point is 01:04:11 Rolling out to your left is very difficult and then just a wide open touchdown. I mean, how many sneak routes can you do? Right? Da-da-da-da. Here right here. I mean, look, Caleb Williams, Bears, they played so well. I mean, the play calling was great. Hanging 59 on anyone. And in Oprah, I think it's the most for Chicago Bears. But the Bears, to me, look pretty scary in week one. All right guys, I hope that your jaw was on the floor like mine was with that Caleb Williams home. I probably could have shown 20 plays.

Starting point is 01:09:10 with the way that they are playing. It is just outrageously good. Let's get into it. All right, here's Jackson Dart. Thought he played extremely well. You heard me break him down in the top six quarterbacks. One thing he did was use his legs. Smart about it though, get out of bounds.
Starting point is 01:09:32 Oh, and draw that personal foul. Penalty. Let's go. Thought Matt Nagy called an absolutely outstanding game. Isaiah likely MVP for them. A couple things here. I love this play call. First of all, the Cowboys defense is just embarrassing.
Starting point is 01:09:50 Like Jackson Dart embarrasses the Dallas Cowboys. Put them over here. You're going to crack block right here. You're going to go back reading the defensive end. A lot of good things here, crack, lead up on corner, zone read, he crashes down, you keep. The gap integrity not great here by the Dallas Cowboys at all. And Jackson looks really good and everyone, I mean it's on your sideline, you're going to get a call. So like this, I just put this on there because he's a runner.
Starting point is 01:10:25 Cam Scada-Boo, Jackson Dart. Isaiah likely Come on through Read it Really nice mesh right here It's a late mesh Because he has a hard time Seeing through
Starting point is 01:10:39 The tight end to the running back Or the quarterback quarterback keeps Crack, replace Oh man, you're supposed to be outside You're supposed to be here Horrible defense But a really nice play By Jackson Dart
Starting point is 01:10:54 And of course Penalty See it from this Let's see what Lawrence is seeing. Because Isaiah likely right there. How are you supposed to see that? You can't see that. There's three guys you got to see through.
Starting point is 01:11:09 Everyone thinks Scadaboo has it, not so fast. Boom. Awesome job. Late hit. Crazy. Right, next play going fast. Look this wide field vision. I sort of like it right here. Wide field vision.
Starting point is 01:11:24 Now we're getting back into it. Three by one formation. All right. All right. I thought this was a really good feel on a lot of different ways. This is one of my favorite reps of the game from Jackson Dart. It doesn't look crazy, but it is. It's an out route. It's a corner. You're going to have a crosser right here and you have a shallow cross. I'm not quite sure how they're telling them to view this. How I would view it, certain coverage, one, you could alert that two. That would be three. You got to tell me something. something for over here. So let's see where his eyes are. All right. It's left to right. So he's right. Surprise he didn't throw that. That's open. And then you read here to the shallow cross. All right. Is that OBJ? And then what's really cool here is he's getting to his fourth read. One, two, three, four. He has a crossing route, but he sees Isaiah likely in Jackson Dart, same page.
Starting point is 01:12:29 He sees this safety trying to cut. Instead of going there, he just stops. Jackson Darden and him have to be on the exact same page, which they are, Isaiah likely going to be used like Travis Kelsey, easily. And then just, it looks like a whole-hum completion, 13-yard completion in the playbook or in the stats, but unfortunately it's not.
Starting point is 01:12:52 And that's why you watch this channel to get breakdowns like this. He's cutting, he's going through progression, Look at the pocket. That's a dime. It's called an offset throw. Instead of going all the way, offset throw, inside shoulder, turn up.
Starting point is 01:13:08 Really good. With a dude in your face too? Come on now. Right? Let's see it. Watch this footwork. Left foot up. One, two, three.
Starting point is 01:13:18 Not there. Go to your third progression. Now you're just playing off this. All right, he's coming open. Jackson Dart, you've got to see that. Isaiah likely. You've got to see that. He does.
Starting point is 01:13:28 They're on the same page. and you got to throw it off set. God stay in your feet that's a touchdown. Great throw. He knows it too. All right next play getting lined up three by one formation tight split right here understanding hey it's looks like it's third down they got six up where's protection where's all this stuff. Jackson gives a little signal a lot of guys staying in come on it's it's Isaiah likely again it's so good first of all you have a corner route and you have a corner it's outside two yards outside leverage. The other thing about this, they're bringing five and they're
Starting point is 01:14:04 rushing, right? I don't know why zero has him. All right, so it's like a hug rush right here. Back has to step up. Get it. Doesn't do a great job. The center just literally lets the one technique go or the nose guard go. You have to buy time. You have to move back. You have to retreat. and then you're throwing that on your back foot. Come on now. One, two, three, four, five. Really good job of fighting to get outside leverage. Look when he throws this ball.
Starting point is 01:14:40 He's starting to throw this and he's just now looking. If that's underthrown, that's a bad football. But that is a perfectly thrown football. When you're on the move, tight split. Look, look how far outside this dude is, right? But Jackson does a good job. I think the O-Lines sliding all the way out. So he's there, he's there, he's there, he's there, he's there.
Starting point is 01:15:01 The left guard has to be a lot better. I thought my not, Naga played really well too. So back has here in the A gap. Go. You can't just punch and go. You got to go. You got to go left guard. This is what causes them to do this.
Starting point is 01:15:18 And then you're throwing it right here as you're falling away. That's a tough throw. Really tough throw. But I like it. I like him fighting to get outside. I like him. standing ham losing right here this is noseguard it's a zero zero technique means head up this should not be that easy of a completion but it is because these two dudes are on the same
Starting point is 01:15:43 page 90% until the kneel down on third down by the way 90% on third down pretty freaking wild all right second and seven let's put them underneath let's run the football let's do all this fun stuff in between right tight splits everyone's inside the numbers on this side Cowboys are playing some type of two-shell look. A little pop pass. Boom. So good. Like easy completion.
Starting point is 01:16:08 It doesn't have to be crazy hard. It really doesn't. Right? So you're running a slant right here. You have a buck pass is what Matt and Aggie calls it. Sell it jab 36 buck pass. And you're showing, which means a shallow cross, but you've got to be on the move because this guy's right here.
Starting point is 01:16:29 So you read one to two to three right there. And this is covered two. This corner messes up. So I don't know. It's just taking advantage of opportunities when they're there. Keeping your eyes down the field, that's your first read. It's exactly where you want to go. Maybe he's on a crosser.
Starting point is 01:16:50 I'm not quite sure. But whatever it is, it's such a good play call. A guy's coming free right in his face too, and he's able to get this up and over. So he's down. I think he's climbing up. Show route, which is a shallow cross, but you've got to stay on the move. I thought the running backs play well. Dart had, I think, almost 50 yards rushing, maybe a little bit more.
Starting point is 01:17:13 Sell it, jab, $16. That's a tough block to reach a three like that. You got to get going, though. All right? And all this is, once these linebackers are froze, good luck. They got to in and out these guys. How do they do it? Beat them across with speed.
Starting point is 01:17:30 Here's the other thing too. You think this is some easy throw? You're throwing across your body when the guy's going full speed. If this is behind him, he doesn't have the rack or the run after catch yards. So nice work just putting this in front of him. All right, here we go. Look how wide this is. Again, make this Dallas Cowboys defense play in space.
Starting point is 01:17:51 It's empty. They're stacked. They're bringing five. Oh, my goodness. Who's getting fired? What in the world happened? Well, here, I'll tell you what I'll tell you what happened. This is an interesting alignment.
Starting point is 01:18:10 So this is a, sorry about that, this is a small guy. If I can work this today, boys. This is a small body all the way out here, right? He's the nickel. He's a down guy. The line is going out here. In reality, they should five down this, which means he's got him. He's got him.
Starting point is 01:18:32 here here here they don't they're full on sliding all the way over here when in reality someone has to come out here jackson doesn't see it this is a mess up somebody's somebody's getting fired i'm just kidding but you can't get your franchise quarterback hit like that pretty simple little route we used to run this route all the time it's a stash route which means to get open it's an inside fade it's a stick route and then or um it's a wrap route i totally get this i understand this just throw this he's working down here i'd love to see him work up here. I'm sure Nagy's fixing that. You do that and then maybe you just throw to him or you throw out here. I'm pretty sure he thought that he was going to be protected.
Starting point is 01:19:13 That is going to hurt tomorrow morning. Talk about him staying healthy, everything that he does. But you see, if you're head up, you should be going out. Make this five down call. It's a weird front because it looks like there's only three downs of credit to the Cowboys. Not a sack though, but you're getting your dude absolutely killed. It's just like right here, right here, right here, here, here. Five down. Pretty simple. Got to fix it because, man, that hurt.
Starting point is 01:19:47 Ugh. All right, here we go. A little stack, a little bunch. Empty. They liked empty a lot this game. Cowboys said, hey, I'm going to try to rush five. When they rushed four, they did not get home very often. You got him and him dropping here going over here, and they pick this up perfectly.
Starting point is 01:20:04 And when they do this, I think they're trying to go to the, this crazy cover too where that's going to be a safety in the half that's going to be a safety and a half this defensive end is playing corner he's playing corner so it's got a half and a half just throw it where they're not they can't cover the flats they couldn't cover this is a very scary throw very difficult throw you got to be up and over he does it though I don't like the spacing over here I think what they're supposed to do is sit there there right there right there just a different way to get to it their
Starting point is 01:20:41 spacing needs to be better boom Jackson Dart sees it this is a tough coverage to see they're getting some funky covered too with blitzin and there's just holes everywhere open open crazy so you see the center point out let's five down five across five down once he just drops and he's drops, they got to go bump off to get this dude. See what Singletary does. Seems to be their third down scat back, understands protections, everything about it. They get it. We got to throw, though. Come on now. Nice throw. Malik neighbors. Surprise he played,
Starting point is 01:21:30 like he played. Love that he played. So as a quarterback, you're looking here, QB Vision Cone. He goes here. We throw it that way. It's not hard. It's not hard to to play quarterback. I mean, it is really hard, but it's also easy. Here we go. Two by two formation. Are they playing man? Are they not? Darts using his cadence as if they're showing you blitz and they're not, right? Three buzz. This is for the half two, I think. It's so good. From the opposite hash. Looks like they're just like sitting down, sitting down in zones and then you're
Starting point is 01:22:09 running this circus route. Just seeing this as soon as Jackson sees that it's single-locked, high zone, man, hit this right here. These two is good for cover two or cover four, but this route concept up top, got to love it. He's showing a lot of growth too. That's a nice route. And I mean, the fact that he's able to hit that on the sideline, I think it stayed complete, but man, that's unbelievable. What a throw too. He sees it. It's just, I think in general he's seeing everything a lot better. He's seeing things from a different perspective. He sees that this is probably going to be it. If that's the case, know exactly where to go with the football. It's all the way out. It's a pretty ball, dude. Come on now. To the field. Toad drag, swag. Let's see
Starting point is 01:23:02 from this view. He just locks in. See where his eyes are. His eyes should go here. Let's see where his eyes are. Perfect. Perfect. No notes. does it exactly right. This guy comes over here, you go there. You probably look better than I expected. Alright, here we go. Trips formation, four by one. It's still all the rage. Offenses had a field day. Oh, not so much. All this four by one check. Let's just get a two by two. Look at one simple motion does.
Starting point is 01:23:31 Bosses them, makes them switch, makes them talk. It's just a simple motion. It's just Z to double right. That's all that formation is. Z to gun double right. Oh my gosh, wide open. Yes, it's wide open. Doesn't take a genius to see that. However, a lot of times when things are wide open,
Starting point is 01:23:53 quarterbacks can't see it. Quarterbacks don't see it. I like it. So it's a smash concept. You go in, you go out, you go to the corner. It's a post if you have too high and it's a dagger. So this is single high zone man up there and this is covered two, cover four down here. So he's pre-snop reading this. He sees right here, I have no idea
Starting point is 01:24:20 what coverage they're in. Looks like they're trying to triangle three guys on one with Malik neighbors. They get confused with this because this safety feels like he probably has to cut this if this is a shallow cross. If that's the case he should back up, oh no, all of a sudden both of these guys are here. He's like, oh my gosh, I'm out of. And out of position and just a dime. Good job taking advantage of the Cowboys defense. Two guys on this, this is wide open. So they're taking advantage,
Starting point is 01:24:55 it looks like easy play calls, they're taking advantage of how they play this though. Dime. All right, here we go. Couple more plays here, two by two under center. I like it, put Jackson under center more. Little Y peel motion. Buck pass again, they're doing it again,
Starting point is 01:25:14 and they're hitting Malik neighbors. They did this earlier to another tight end or another receiver, but they're doing it out of a slot. So it could be post, wheel, whatever. Come across here, 12 to 14. You're gonna come here and hit that. This is one, you maybe wanna alert this wheel
Starting point is 01:25:32 and then that's two. But I like this, guard pool, everything tells you strong run that way. All you need to do is get these linebackers to step up. You actually want it versus two I shall look. Get over here, it's a wheel and up post, just keep running. It's a nice throw too, because the number zero sort of has it. Oh, he throws it right over his overstretched arms.
Starting point is 01:25:53 Dime. So guard here, Y peel motion, everything's selling it that way. You really wanna affect this guy. That's the only guy you wanna affect, you want them to go that way with this right guard pool, sell it jab 37, seven odd to the left, evens are to the right. You get it.
Starting point is 01:26:10 And then when he does this, you're like, oh man, not so fast. get over there. I mean, first of all, Malik's like calling for it right now. He's like, hi, I'm open. Keep running the second window. And that's just a really good throw. You got to have touch, but you've got to be able to drive it too. Nice work.
Starting point is 01:26:33 Boom, boom. Really good sell on the play action too. Malik, you got to keep running just over the overstretched arms. Nice way to get them to catch and get him. Here we go. Under center, once again. Man, Matt Nagin called a good game. He says, on on, which means the play that we're doing is on.
Starting point is 01:26:59 Such an easy touchdown. I like this. It's literally everything is going this way. You're trying to get scatibu in the flat, and you're blocking here. But in reality, you're not blocking. What you're doing is you're blocking and bluffing and making yourself available. They see it. They in and out it, which you'll see here.
Starting point is 01:27:18 here, right? They're in and outing. 13 goes way too far. He takes this. He tries to drop off on this. Not so fast, my friend. And I guarantee you on this overrout, like you threw scataboo in practice, you threw this in practice. You probably didn't throw Isaiah likely in practice, but nobody covered them. Really nice play call in design. JetSuite motion. You're getting 13 to go. Scataboo is number one, 84 is number two. Isaiah's probably not even in it. You get them, though? How easy is that? Touchdown.
Starting point is 01:27:58 All right, last play right here, third and five. What are we going to do on third and five? Cowboys had a hard time getting lined up. He's alerting something. Alert, alert, alert, alert. Let's check the play. What are we doing? Alert, alert, alert.
Starting point is 01:28:10 Check that. Motion over. Do a two-by-two. Just don't flat. There ain't nothing to it. Nothing to it. Nothing to it. The Cowboys' defense got embarrassed. You can't, like, you got to have somebody out here.
Starting point is 01:28:22 this was the third flat throw in a row. So look, the fighting Jackson darts, hardballs, scataboo, likely, Malit neighbors when he's healthy. If the giants can play like this, I'm telling you, they are going to be a problem. Just wide open, what are we doing here? Come on.
Starting point is 01:28:50 All right, guys, thank you so much for watching. I really appreciate every single one of you. I hope you like this style of format. Make sure you like, comment.
