You're not incurable.
You're not broken.
You're having a normal human experience.
And we have a solution for that.
And that solution is our podcast, free therapy.
I'm Ben.
And I'm Kevin.
And every week, we talk to leading therapists in the country about relationships,
work, family dynamics, and all of life's headaches.
If you're trying to get rid of anxiety,
you're actually fueling more anxiety.
So listen to free therapy because therapy is expensive.
But our podcast is free.

I'm Mimi Brown, and every day on Front Page Podcasts, I help you make sense of the stories
shaping our world. Each day, I break down the biggest headlines.
Canada's trade fight with the U.S. just escalated again, and Americans could fill it in their
wallets. And when a story deserves a deeper conversation, I'll sit down with experts,
newsmakers, and thought leaders to help you better understand the issue behind the headlines.

What up, y'all, this your main man, Memphis Bleak right here, host of that Rock Solid podcast.
And each week, we bring in you exclusive looks inside music.
Everything happening inside the culture.
Some of the best conversations were the biggest names in the game.
You had a little bit more pressure to be good.
And they didn't care if you was a girl.
Like, you wasn't getting no points.

I'm Kerry Champion, and in this new season of biggest rivalries of all-time podcast, we take you back to the very first rivalry of the WNBA.
The Comets were to real deal.
I mean, come on.
The Liberty was just tough.
Oh, God.
The New York Liberty versus the Houston Comets.
When we hit the floor, it was hot, heated.
It fights, elbows, competition, trash talking.
Who's the better team?
People live, but numbers don't.

I had just seen Ice Tea guest at the Apollo at the Snoop Dog concert, and I told him that, and he sort of looked me up and down and went, huh.
Hi, I'm Lisa Trager, and I'm Kara Klink.
And together, we host That's Messed Up, a podcast.
Podcasts where we recap Law and Order SVU,
dig into the actual crimes and interview actors from the episode.
Like former SVU guest star Bradley Whitford.
Often I would meet people who would assume that there was something sort of Ted Bundy about me
because of these sort of characters that I play.
And we're celebrating our 300th episode in style with the one, the only, John Stamos.
There's nobody better to play this character.
I'm like, what is this?
He's a reproductive abuser and he tries to impregate as many women.
I'm like, really, I'm the guy like that?
Okay, fine.

What's going on, guys?
Chase Daniel here.
Thank you so much for liking and subscribing to the YouTube channel.
We really appreciate you.
This show is called The Breakdown.
And boy, do we have some quarter packs to break down for you today.
It has been a wild, wild NFL week two.
Lots of injuries, lots of all that.
We are going to get into my top six quarterbacks of the week,
and we're going to break them down a little bit of talk, a little bit of opinion,
and then we're going to go to the film.
It's about to start now.
Welcome to the breakdown.
All right, as always, we are sponsored by Fanduel.
Thursday night football just got even better with Fanduel.
With early win, a fast start could be all you need to win big.
for Falcons versus Packers just bet the money line.
Then if your team jumps out to a seven point lead at any point in the game,
you'll win instantly.
That's right.
You don't have to wait until the final whistle to cash in.
So whether your team scores on the opening drive or builds an early touchdown lead,
you could be celebrating before the game's even over.
All you have to do is pick your side, place your money line bet,
and cheer for that seven point lead.
Check out FanDowles early win for Falcons versus Packers in the FanDuel app.

Just another reason why this is your most rewarding season ever on fan duel.
All right guys, we got to get right into my pick six.
It's power rankings, call it whatever you want.
It's going to be awesome today.
I got some sleeper picks.
Remember, this is not cumulative.
This does not have to do with other weeks.
This is a week-to-week thing.
Tell me what you're thinking, and you know we got to do it.
We got to have Jalen Hertz in at number six.
Helen Hertz was able to do with Nick Siriani to go on the road in Tennessee, I know it wasn't
pretty. I know that he threw that horrible almost pick six because that was not very good.
But after that point in the game, him and Sean Mannion were on the same page the entire game.
It was a beauty to see. They ended up beating Tennessee 24 to 20 on the road.
and I just love the last play of the game.
They motioned over to a bunch.
Tennessee's in all-up blitz.
Jalen Hertz understands and recognizes it.
What does he do?
He doesn't sit in the pocket.
He's in shotgun.
He rolls to his right.
They have a switch release,
and he finds this deep in-line route,
which is like a save-to route from the in-line.
And dude made a dot.
Yes, he was wide open,
but I'm telling you,
he threw it better than I've seen him throw it on the road at home,
whatever you want to say.
And him and Devante Smith were on one.
Whatever you think the tape was with Devante Smith and Jalen Hurstow in the football,
it was better.
They were on the same page.
There was creative passing attack.
There was all these things.
And I was just really super impressed with them.
He went 26 to 37, almost 270 yards.
Most importantly, 70% completion rate.
Yes, he threw two interceptions, but he threw two touchdowns.
and when you can go on a road, I don't care who it's against.
Like, that's a trap game for everything that we all know.
But you're able to hit two touchdown passes and the game winner on the road.
You deserve to be on this list.
I have five carries, 16 yards.
I just love, I want to talk a little more about the Devonte Smith, Jalen Hertz, connection.
10 catches, 117 yards, and a touchdown.
Obviously, Hertz came two interceptions.
but here's like here's the thing about being a true number one receiver and i think that is devonta
smith you have to understand that you're going to get the best shot from every single team what can you
do with it if you draw double coverage can you move them in the slot can you place them up on linebackers
i saw him moving all the way around i was really impressed with it um and i think the reason why i
ranked him here specifically because people are like oh you're a jalen hertz hater you're all this look
This is, I hope he gets to number one on this list.
It's a week by week thing.
I would say the one thing that I saw about his performance,
there was no way he was going to be on this list, honestly,
in the first part of the game.
But as the game progressed, and as he got,
look, it's only week two.
And that offensive line was all over the place.
They started some new guys.
They started a new center, the communication between that,
just all those things.
and you go on the road and then you were able to get a win.
Like this is going to be a win.
They look back on Philly does and be like, that's a good win.
I don't care if the Tennessee Titans or whatever,
your whole goal is to be two in O after two weeks,
and that's what the Philadelphia equals are.
All right, let's keep it moving.
We are going to go straight into another guy who, boys,
dude is playing unbelievable football.
Like, I've been so impressed with Bryce Young.
So we're going to put Bryce Young up on the screen,
and a couple things about him.
First of all, he's looked more comfortable this year than I've ever seen him.
Like him and CJ Stroud, obviously same year, I think Bryce Young right now is taking that next step.
Obviously, number one overall pick CJ Stroud number two, and they're always going to be connected.
They really are.
But I think he's taking that next step in terms of what happens when you have, you have,
have a really good offensive-minded head coach. And that's Dave Canales. And I love what D'Amico Ryan's
is doing with C.J. Stroudon Husson, but they are on a tear right now. Look, beat Atlanta,
34 to 3 to 3 on the road, 23 of 36, 287 yards, 64%, three touchdowns, no interceptions.
Most important, eight yards per attempt. They weren't just checking this football down.
Had about 300 combined yards. Carolina finished with 340 yards.
committed zero turnovers. I think that's the biggest thing. He's learning how to win.
Atlanta's not a good team whatsoever. Like we know that, we understand that.
But I just think the growth of Bryce Young from year one rookie year to where he's at now has been excellent.
The storyline for this game is Darren Waller, two touchdown passes, caught T-MAC, 101 yards receiving.
And when you throw three touchdowns and you don't have any turnovers. I think the best thing about him,
is like when you watch him and you end up figuring out exactly what's on the film,
he through two games hasn't done much wrong. Like they've won two and oh. It's a,
sorry, they're one on one, excuse me, they're one and one. But he's played well,
really well in both games. NFC South is going to come down to a crazy division. But yeah,
Bryce Young for me, number five. Carolina Panthers, you got yourselves a steal. All right,
Let's keep it moving.
Number four, we got Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys.
This dude could have been a lot higher.
It was a poor showing week one.
Pretty sure that C.V. Lamb and George Pickens had a combined eight catches for 83 yards,
and they got embarrassed by the New York Giants.
Their defense obviously didn't help them at all.
Look, they beat Washington, 3720 at home.
Jane Daniels, hurt, wish him the best.
The Cowboys are like 21 and 1 or 22 and 0 in their last 23 or 22 in the East games.
It's unbelievable.
But DAC's numbers, 26 to 31, 280 yards.
Here's what's cool, 83% completion rate, four tuttees and no interceptions.
And I just think the fact that what DAC has been able to do with Brian Schottenheimer needs to be talked about more.
he sort of is going to, I think, have to carry the Cowboys this year.
He's going to have to figure out a way to reach that other level.
And everyone's like, oh, it's just, you know, regular season deck.
It's all this deck.
Watch them play.
CD Lamb finished with eight catches, 153 yards, and two touchdowns.
Jake Ferguson caught the other two touchdowns.
So multiple guys with touchdown passes.
And their rushing game, not so bueno.
21 carries, 66 yards, not good.
George Pickens, eight targets.
So between them, they had 17 targets.
CD Lamb and George Pickens.
Last week they had eight catches.
That's the way to do things.
More importantly, let's see what they were on third down
because I was watching.
Yeah, 7 of 11, dude, they were money on third down.
But I think that what Dak Press got is going to have to do
until that defense and Christian Parker gets going,
I think he's going to have to carry this team.
Like, there's no letdowns here.
And I think the best thing about him is that,
he actually was able to go out there, carry his team.
He plays really, really well at home, and I love that about him.
So I got decked Prescott.
All right, moving on, let's go.
We got it.
Patrick Mahomes, number three.
Like win, lose, draw, whatever it is, Mahomes looked like himself.
I'm officially declaring this is the game that Patrick Mahomes is officially back.
Him and Travis Kelsey look really, really good together.
it's it's one of those games where you're like ah you know colts you know chiefs whatever like it doesn't
matter the result what i've been seeing from him to me is a guy that has steadily gotten better i mean
the dude is absolute superman for everything that he's done we're going to break it down in film
in this one we're also going to do dack we're also going to do another guy up on this list who's
continually playing better to tease that. But I think the chemistry between him and Travis Kelsey
have been excellent. Like Kelsey, almost 100 yards receiving, had a touchdown. He looks like he's back.
He looks better. They're showing Taylor Swift, all this stuff. Like the Chiefs is the Chiefs,
and they were a running team, ran for over 100 yards, and it's one of those things where if Mahomes
can just keep it rolling, baby. Like it doesn't look like he's hobbling.
whatsoever, but if he can just keep this thing rolling and keep this thing going,
sky's the limit for him. Tyquan Thornton had a day, Rishie Rice had a day,
Kenneth Walker had over 100 total yards. I mean, all these things played a role in Patrick
Mahomes being on my list, being at number three because he absolutely showed out.
All right, let's get to number two. This was hard because I think last week,
Brock Purdy was number one. Right now he's number two.
Boy, I know it's the Dolphins. Hear me out. They beat Miami 35 to 13 at home.
Brother, he was 20 of 22, 287 yards, all right, and two touchdowns.
The biggest thing for him, as I'm looking at this final stat line, is that he completed almost 91% of his passes.
And two touchdowns, biggest thing here, 13 yards in the 10%.
Everyone's like trying to study.
We've been on this bandwagon for a long time.
The way he is able to layer these throws, we're going to get into the film.
He's going to be on this and it's going to be awesome.
He's playing right now at another level.
By the way, he also had three carries for 30 yards and a touchdown.
So combine those almost 320 total yards, three total touchdowns.
And how nice is it to have George Gittle back leading all the receivers, right?
Four catches, 80 yards.
Mike Evans.
he got hurt. Three catches, 54 yards. They spread the targets around, the target share, right?
George Kudel had four, Mike Evans, three, Christian McCaffrey, four, Demarcus Robinson, three. He's
been a really nice surprise. Here's my only issue with it. How in the world is Brock Purdy,
the leading rusher? Three carries for 30 yards. Kaelin Black, seven carries 25, CMC, 10 carries
23 yards. I know he had two touchdowns. We got to get this run game going, because eventually
they're going to catch up. So two huge wins. Brock Purdy is playing at.
an extremely high level.
LA Rams in Australia, San Francisco 49ers,
at home against Miami.
And then, come on, number one, that's easy.
Josh Allen.
Give me Josh Allen.
Josh Allen has nine total touchdowns through two weeks.
The last two people, there's only been two other people,
he's the third, to do that.
Nine touchdowns through the first two weeks of the season
has one MVP.
This dude is playing at an MVP type level.
Yes, I know that.
the game was Thursday. Yes, they beat Detroit 41-31. Yes, it was the opening game of Highmark.
They gave out Keys. How cool is that? Stats, though, 20 or 31, 250, 65% completion rate,
three touchdowns, the biggest thing, and he's protected the heck out of the football.
And he's gone against a really good defense in Texans. Detroit, got some issues, understood that.
But the way that Joe Brady, the way that Pete Carmichael, the way that Josh Allen are all dialing up these plays,
It's amazing.
You combine for five total touchdowns, the dude is an absolute cheat code.
Alan, obviously, five touchdowns.
Dalton Kincaid.
They got some of the best tight ends in the entire league that you never heard of.
You've heard of Dalton Kincaid.
Seven catches, 95 yards of touchdown.
James Cook rushed for another 135 in a score.
Ultimately what ranks, what makes him, and we'll do a cumulative one.
This is a week to week.
He was, I think two last week.
He's won this week is when he's ready to take over a game, boys, he is really.
rolling. And it is super impressive to see that. But Josh Allen, for sure, my number one player,
not even close. I can't wait to show you the film on some of these guys. All right, let's get
jumping right into the film. The Hard Rock Bet Casino app is here, Ontario. It's safe, secure,

There's great food, comfortable chairs,
and attentive stewardesses.
The stewardesses were so beautiful.
But in reality, the stewardship.
stewardess job is far less glamorous than it appears.
It was the most sexist job I think you could have.
In this era, the airlines told these stewardesses, they have to be single.
They had no good excuse for why they wouldn't let women be married.
They have to be skinny.
We were starving ourselves.
And they have to be young.
You would retire at age 32.
But one day, a group of people.
of stewardesses said, this has got to stop. They risked it all, turning a fight for fairness
into a revolution. Listen to The Girlfriends, Flight or Fight on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts,

You're probably just going to meet with some rich guy and he's going to whisk you away and I'll never see you again.

D?

There's this thing as D.

This film is Brock Purdy's, Brock Purdy's film against Miami.
It was excellent.
Like you said, 90% completion rate.
Everything went.
The San Francisco 49ers way that dude is playing better than anyone.
Let's get right into it.
All right, let's get into it.
Brock Purdy.
Dude, dude is playing at another level.
There's a lot of different ways that you can look at this game.
One is that the Miami Dolphins blew a bunch of coverage or two.
Just appreciate.
how much Kyle Shanahan and Brock Purdy had this Miami defense in an absolute blender.
They do this little motion out to get a check.
If no one goes with him, he knows he has man coverage.
And then this is just stupid.
So a couple reasons they do this.
Let's just get back into this is if someone were to run out with them,
that would mean it's all-out blitz.
When someone doesn't, he doesn't run out.
there with them heat they know they should have enough here's the thing though you got seven up at
the line of scrimmage there's no answer here you just got to have somewhat of a hot you don't have a
hot so they slide all the way over it's it's a pretty simple route concept it's hank over the
ball flat route Hank there your hot route should be here someone peels there but there's only so many
guys so that's one two three four five six seven
guys right there. So Brock Purdy, you got to make something happen. And this is just backyard ball.
This is crazy. Like what? And then you're able to do that. He's he's scrambling on an extremely high
rate right now and a good one. So one, two, three, four, five. So that leaves two here.
Your hot should be CMC. There's just still not enough. I don't love this plan. This can't be
the case this day dn needs to stay up but enough for that it's just brock pretty like completely i have
no idea what's happening here completely lets him get the edge and he did this a few times and i love it
how about mike evans too all right here we go third and five get lined up fast two by two
formation i love breaking down this to him with you guys man it's it's awesome looks like it's man to
man all across the board because there's stacks all right so if there's man to man how are we going to
block it. Great job by the right guard going. Oh, this is a perfectly thrown football, perfectly
called play. They're pretty much just running off. They might be doing some comebacks or something,
but it's all about CMC. You have an angle route. Now let me explain this. There's one, two, three,
four, five guys on the line of scrimmage called a barefront. You're bringing Mike at A,
which is the gap, and you're dropping these two guys out. It gets a lot harder than you think. So on this
protection, you got right tackle there, right guard here, center, left guard, left tackle.
This guy should be free. However, we'll show it on the back view. Nice job by the right guard
understanding this guy drops, eyes back inside, pop off, and now you have CMC on a defensive
back player who is just not ready for it. Oh, we'd love for him to score though. So this is
more so pretty understanding what's going on. So what they're doing is here, here, here, here.
drop out, drop out, but they're five down in this.
And Miami does this because they think that these five,
both guards, both tackles and a center,
are going to block and then they're going to have a free run through.
Well, not so fast.
Heck of a job by 77 right there.
And then look at all this space.
You couldn't have called a better play at the right time.
I mean, it's so great.
And then the ball placement too, I think, is what needs to be talked about.
It's really, really good.
so they think that is the case not so fast he's got to understand 20's got to understand like
i'm going on the inside right because 11 has here there's three guys right here
there's three guys here watch them all get picked it's just a perfectly drawn up play call you can't
get any better than this all right next play two by two formation two safeties deep let's motion 89 all the way
in here we go all right then a motion then a shift and then another motion like
Look at all this green grass.
Like, look at all these dolphins players over there because of the fake, because everything about it scream this.
And you're able to turn up, get an easy 15-yard gain.
So it's just, it's simple.
You have a tight-in here, shift them back.
You have a receiver here.
It's just 11 personnel, right?
So it's one back, one tight-in.
Three receivers, receiver, receiver, receiver.
But it looks like to the defense.
it looks like major run
because you have tight formation
maybe two backs, one tight
in, when in reality it's 11
they're getting into big people and then
they're blitzing and just
had the edge all game long.
I think just
they're trying to hit
Mike Evans. He's tied up
a little bit. Can't do that.
That's cheating. Holding.
Lots of flags.
He's like, yeah, there we go.
But it doesn't matter because your boy Purdy is
rolling. This is what I'm talking about, right? Steve Robinson there. Now this, doesn't this look
like it's power of football? Everything going that way, Purdy going left. They bootleg out to the
left more than a lot of, a lot of different people. I'm impressed with it. It's just,
it's, it's game plan. It's Shanahan being on a completely different level. So good. Here we go.
Next play. One by three formation. Right. Mike Evans up top. Is it man?
Is it not? Let's check it out. Let's see what Brock Purdy is seeing. Devo Samuel, motion out. They're blitzing. I don't know why they kept blitzing on because this should have scored. I mean, just running Scott free, wide open. I have no idea what this defense is doing. I think it's a corner and out route. You have a through route, run through the defense. You have a whip route, come back in an end, and then you have a dagger route. So that is the read, alert here.
here one to two to the running back he sees pressure and he's like you know what I'm
gonna go right there he has to understand and he's looking this way is this safety
there if he is yes and then now to throw this I want to I got to step up one
two three four five man pressure I got to step up and I got to make Kittle make
sure Kittle gets out of the way there a little bit stacked and I think that's
probably why he threw this where he did
This got to be an easy touchdown, though.
You've got to have an easy touchdown on this one.
Motion out.
They end up pressuring.
Look at the pocket movement by this guy, too, though.
That's what's really cool.
Hoop.
Look at that.
A couple things.
Left guard can't set too far in.
You're going to get beat.
Kaelin Black gets out.
Step up.
Gosh, this should have been an easy touchdown.
Get up.
Oh, there's no one around him.
How does he not score?
Come on.
Nice throw, though.
But just everything working together as one, that to me is what gets everything.
So look, look at this little signal right here.
I think they want to in and out this guy, although you're giving a signal buddy to somebody
who's just so worried about Brock Purdy.
Doesn't happen.
So often you have guys running scot-free.
First of all, you can't step up in the pocket like this.
And second of all, you don't really hit them.
Purdy throws him more like this.
I like his angle.
I think the ball should be a little bit more.
Obviously, it's not a good football, but it's a completion.
Party was almost perfect, 91%.
Next play, right?
Where are they at?
All inside the numbers.
That's a tied in.
That's a fullback receiver, receiver.
So it is 21 personnel.
Look at everything that's going on to a defense.
This is crazy.
You're snapping on this side of the ball, then you're going to, you're going.
And then you're pulling a guard.
and then everything's going that way,
and then you're trying to bring stuff this way,
even against a two-eye safety look,
and they're also bringing corner cat.
They're trying to bring double-edged pressure right here,
which they are,
and that is why stuff's so open.
This is a call, and it's just Shanahan calling the perfect play at the right time.
This is just a through route, I think that's Kittle,
and this is a dagger route.
I mean, they run this all the time, right?
but it's a little bit different in the terms of stuff is just so open.
And these safeties have to get really wide.
Why?
Because they brought both corners.
These guys should be out.
These guys should be out.
It's a horrible defense, but it's a better play call.
Who do you think he was throwing to?
You think he was throwing to Kittle?
Is that Kittle?
You think he's throwing to Kittle?
I do.
Got to get this run after catch.
Really good.
Let's look at it from this view.
tight formations, hey, what do you want to do?
Right? You want to
Corner Cat. So it's double corner cat.
These guys should be out. It's too deep,
two under, which is so dumb.
But look at everything that the defense is getting showed. You can't block this guy.
Not a great look for
our tackle, Trent Williams.
Right? It just gets bullrush. But who cares?
Oh, and that should be a definite penalty right there as well.
That could have been really, really bad.
A nice job just kiddle like hey I'm wide open look how early kiddle looks
They're on the same page like hey I'm just wide open let me get it both these guys are open
Think Debo scores here maybe let's look at it from this view this is bad I didn't see this Trent
Williams one get bull rushed it's okay great throw though awesome all right here we go two tight
ends two receivers and Devo I think Mike Evans and now he got hurt I think he's gonna be okay and see
They have a lot of weapons. If they stay healthy, boy, why are they keep blitzing? That's what I don't understand.
I mean, it's crazy. This is also a really nice route concept. So you're both outside releasing. So these two guys are trying to in and out. So there's a difference. There's in and out coverage where one stays out and one stays in and they take it and there's lock coverage. Right. One's trying to play lock and one's trying to play in and out. But it really hurts them in and both.
these guys go that way. So both these guys though that way. One goes in, the other goes out. This should
be covered, but not so much. And it's really also you're gaining leverage. But I love the fact that
Purdy starts to his right. He's looking at this safety and he tries to look him right. I don't even
think he was starting right. I think he was coming on here the whole time. So you have both guys
on a corner and then a whip route and an in route. Love this and just pick the side, right?
Whichever safety, okay, he sees pressure, he works pressure side. A safety on Devo would be nice,
but a touchdown's even better. Like wide open touchdowns even better. It's
this is silly how good this film is, but both, it's all the little details, right? You gain leverage on
40. He's over there. He can't get lined up right.
Nice job by Purdy.
He looks so sweet going under the center.
One, two, three, four, five, six, seven.
Right?
Never a good thing.
It's not even because of the route.
He's turning around to go in and out.
It's locked coverage.
Stuff's wide open.
This doesn't get this open in the NFL.
Under center two.
Everything screams run.
Right.
Forties, eyes in the back field.
It's everywhere.
It's what this Kyle Shanahan offense does.
Truly, wide open.
All right, third and 11, big down, right?
Big down.
What are they going to do?
How are they going to do it?
Pretty says something like that.
He gives a signal to someone.
See what it means.
All right.
Now, I think they're trying to get the two deep coverage.
Honestly, I couldn't tell you.
This is a corner.
He's going back to the half.
He's going back to the half.
So it leaves the entire middle of the field open.
They're trying to do way too much.
Jeff Hapley, right?
He's, sorry, he's going here.
This corner's the safety.
This corner's the safety.
And it just, the longer the dead.
progresses the harder it is nice job by the right tackle as well you got speed
through the middle four makes this play and you got dbo and then like this is chip sit
through route that has to be so fast a little motion out to get leverage they run this
time and time again this is they've hit this they've hit that they've hit all of them so
it's really good really good see it from this view debo here
doing that to build leverage. Are they bringing five not so fast? They're trying to do this tricky
cover two look. It just doesn't work. He loves these like layered throws. One, two, three,
hitch hitch, ball. And he does it enough. And they're just leaving these tackles on an island other
than Trent Williams. They're helping. 68's got the big down right here on third and forever.
Right. But such a sweet throw. And it just looks like it's more velocity too.
Love talking ball. This is this is the why we talk about on the first read. Just like what
happened. Let's talk about the why right here. Look, he's just, he's looking too. He's just looking
see what's happening. He's not panicked. He's playing really calm. Nice throw. Really nice throw.
Boom. Next play right here. Everyone's up, but it's two eyes safety. Let's see if they stop
blitzing them. Let's play 29 of the game. Okay, under center. If it's under center,
get dropped back and gun. Oh my gosh, this is sweet. They're hot. They're not, they're continuing to
blitz. And I think this might have been a check too. There's five guys here. They're bringing Sam and
Mike call them Moss Blitz. Moss, strong safety, or the weak safety, whatever. M is for Mike.
It's very difficult to do this because obviously you know it's passed right here, but they just do
a good job being on the same page. Your hot is five step and I think this is supposed to be to
juice. I think this is like a stop and it's supposed to be right here. I don't know how they're on
the same page. There's no hots right here. It would be juice, but I think he's definitely, I mean,
look, he's already throwing this and there's two guys there. This is crazy. Just understanding where
to go with the ball, and that's just big Mike Evans right there. Making a play. I hate when they do this,
because if they end up bringing pressure like this, usually this does not happen. Like this right
here is really good to get back. You just got to beat the safety with the football.
and he understands it. He's looking right at him.
A little bit of a dangerous throw.
I'm not sure who's throwing it to, but sometimes it works.
Sometimes it be like that.
All right, next play, motion over, get up, get set.
See if they continue blitzing them.
This is the very next play.
They're doing the same thing.
Okay, not so fast.
Under center, seven-step drop.
And a corner route between four people to a fullback.
That's how good this offense is.
I mean, there's no difference.
You're bringing juice from over here.
have a tight in here. It's 21 personnel, so you get base defense. And it's just scissors concept,
right? You're here, you're here. They're cheating this so they can get there. And you're probably
bringing something right there. There's no different. That's one. You're alerting that versus
too high safety look. And that's number two. That's number three. And it just, it's perfect.
Right? The speed is a big deal. Reading this flat defender, they're just drop into space.
But I like how they sort of stop this to sort of pull this guy. And then he throws this sort of
settling down juice, but juice has eyes on this flat defender who's the only guy that can come off.
It's a perfectly thrown football between four dudes to a fullback, to a full back, mind you.
Look it up from this view, juice over, two by two, motion them over. Instead of a flat, it's a flat stop,
like we were saying, and you're going to get this over there. You've got to be really good at
past protection under center to be able to get this dude back. He's not the tall,
He's not the strongest, but he's got really good feel all the way around.
Look at this.
Over top the hook curl.
So it's really a flat and in.
That's interesting.
I love that.
Boom, boom.
Awesome.
Right?
Really good throw.
Let's look at it from this view just because I want to see his footwork from under center.
Young quarterbacks, I'm telling you, you need to get under center.
One, two, three, four, five, seven, boom.
Throw.
So pure.
All right.
Next play right here.
Juice is looking so it'll be a fast motion.
Remember how they snapped it on this side of the football, which they do here.
Play fake.
Sweet.
I mean, they make everything look the same.
This is also one of Brock Party's first touchdowns.
I don't know if you saw the moment between him and juice.
Snap.
Go to it.
Nothing to it.
But look at the play fake.
Look at what the play fake does to everyone, including the safety who's supposed to have juice.
gets them just to go.
You have Kittle on this slide route
juice on here. You see this like
bluff. Look at him bluffing.
It's called a little bluff
to get this guy to understand
and this guy not to follow him.
Boom, boom. Easy touchdown.
That's a hard throw though too.
Like you've got to be on the money.
If this is behind them, right?
If it's here, he doesn't fall in.
If it's there, it does.
It's really good stuff right there.
By the old 49ers.
Motion over.
Fake.
Watch what the bluff does right here.
Here we go.
We're rolling.
All right, a couple more right here.
Break the huddle, walk to the line like a G.
Said hut, quick, not so fast, right?
They look like they were going fast.
Everything's going that way.
Look at them sell this fake.
It's just enough to get this thing going.
Oh, just enough.
Then you turn around.
This play is the dumbest play of all time.
Truly.
Like, watch this.
Boom, dumbest play of all time, and then the throw.
You can't coach that.
This is one of the sickest plays I've ever seen Brock Pretty do, truly.
And there's nothing really to it other than him just being a G.
So you're motioned everything over.
You're motioning everything over here, right?
Boom, boom.
All right, he's going to come down.
More importantly, he's going that way.
He's clearing out.
So you do that, right?
So Debo is on the shallow.
Mike Evans is on the over.
Four is on a post corner, whatever.
But when you come out like this and you're just,
you're looking back to this way and then you pump,
knowing exactly what you're going to do to get this guy to go,
that's the quarterback's best thing in the entire world.
And I just think that this throw is so crazy.
So shallow cross, over.
Right there, you're dead in the water.
You got two guys going this way
Watch this
Oh my god
That's the best
You work on that all the time
DBs or sorry
These dudes are told not to jump
Not so fast
And then we got a slow-mo this door
Look when he throws this
Holy cow
Super impressive
Mere Mortals would take this underneath
Throw not so much I'm taking Mike Evans
It's an absolute dime
We're going to watch it from this view
Watch the pump fake
He's looking inside
He thinks about throwing this
But he sees this dude
this dude. So he pumps it. And then as he's pumping, he's turning back left and opening his hips.
That's a dangerous throw. That's all I got to say. Dime! All right, two more plays right here.
Under center. Backs here. Another play action in bootleg. I don't know if this was planned or
this is them just playing backyard ball. I'm pretty sure.
So you're here, you're cutting here, right?
Let's watch this because this is such an interesting play call.
You cut, you're an over, you're a corner, and then here's the main guy, Kittle, you're going to go and sneak out.
I think he's supposed to go this way.
I don't know if they're on the same page or not, but he cuts back in and it's just this is what having a guy like George Kittle can.
I'm not exactly sure.
Amazing cut right here.
You're allowed to do that.
Everything's coming this way.
And then there's all this space.
I'm not sure if he's supposed to have a post.
Maybe he is.
Because I think you're reading this dude right here to come over.
Man, I don't know.
It's sweet.
That's a dime.
Like you can't.
It's just a silly play call.
Juice coming over.
You got to cut, right?
Over here, over here.
Sneaking all the way out and then running back to the middle.
seen running all the way back to the middle i've seen that area of things um amazing this this makes it
allows him to get up there right and then he's i think maybe they're playing ball maybe it's not
but then the throw here keep him on the move kittle had a heck of a game dude it's so good to see him back
all right last play right here motion out you know it's empty all right so what are they doing they just said
hey you know we're going to stop blitzing because we're getting smoked let's just play too high shell
make them check it down. Not so fast. I'm throwing all the way out there. I think what they're trying
to do is just like run a go stop, like a really deep comeback, stutter, go, and then you're flat and in.
So you really want to read here to there. They come back to the whip route. But just the arm strength,
everything about it stands out to me, pushes through, throws it on time and in rhythm. I mean,
the way the 49ers are playing, like, I know it's the Dolphins. But to complete 90% plus of the passes
and then just to be able to play the way he's able to play like this, come on now. It's stupid.
49ers are back, man. All right, guys, I hope that you enjoyed that Brock Purdy film. He put on
an absolute show. It was super impressive. Now we're going to get to Patrick Mahomes.
Patrick Mahomes, I thought, played like his old self. He was out there slinging it. He showed a lot
zip on the arm. He had the connection with Kelsey working. Everything was going right for Patrick
Mahomes. He did not look hurt. Let's get into it. All right, Patrick Mahomes is all the way back.
This game, I get it was against the Colts and the Colts have some defensive issues, but
87 and 15, boy, did they look on par today. And this is the best I've seen Patrick Mahomes look.
We're just going to break this down as we go to it.
It's pretty simple route.
I'm not exactly sure what Worthy's doing, to be completely honest with you,
but this is just a speed cut, nothing special about it to Travis Kelsey.
He looks slimmer.
He looks faster.
He looks better than ever.
I do think there's a two-way go in this.
I think he can break in.
I think he can break out based on what I'm seeing back here.

There's great food.
comfortable chairs, and attentive stewardesses.
The stewardesses were so beautiful.
But in reality, the stewardess job is far less glamorous than it appears.
It was the most sexist job I think you could have.
In this era, the airlines told these stewardesses, they have to be single.
They had no good excuse for why they wouldn't let women be married.
They have to be skinny.
We were starving ourselves.
And they have to be young.
You would retire at age 32.
But one day, a group of stewardesses said,
This has got to stop.
They risked it all, turning a fight for fairness into a revolution.

It's a comeback by Rishi Rice,
and then you have a whip route,
and Kenneth Walker is going there.
So here's the read, one to two to three.
It's all Mahomes all the way.
The way he's able to just understand how to get the ball out,
if he misses this at all, I mean, this is good coverage.
he's trying to undercut it.
Kelsey just speed cuts it.
If he undercuts, like, at all, it's just, it's vintage Travis Kelsey to me.
Like, it doesn't look like it's a hard throw.
It is.
And it's right on them.
It's right on them for him to go score a touchdown.
So that's what I saw.
Mahomes is throwing people open again.
The velocity on the throw was excellent.
His footwork was excellent.
Look at this.
Like, that's what I like to see, man.
One, two, three. And it's just, it's quick. It's a short step. It's a throw. The velocity, his arm's feeling good, man. You can't see it from that view, but then Travis Kelsey gets in there. It's exciting. He's pumped up about it. Everyone knows it's a touchdown. Tatee's happy. The chiefs are all the way back. It's so sick. Like, just watching these two play football, these are tight views, so you're not going to get a lot of the ball placement stuff on there. But just being able to see Kelsey get in there early. This is play seven of the game. You could tell from the
start they were trying to get Travis Kelsey in with this too high safety look to work underneath
on linebackers. All right next play under center too. A lot more under center for the chiefs this year.
We thought they were just a running team. Not so much. Not so much. Play action team. The timing too.
I like it. There's a lot of different things that chiefs are doing. It's post wheel right here.
Right. So it's a post. It's a wheel route. And you're trying to drain all that out. And then this is really cool.
So usually Rishi Rice would be right here and he's digging out safeties in the run game.
Andy Reid was so smart and said, you know what, let's move him inside.
And instead of doing that post wheel, right, up top, let's bring something over there.
And this is a race route, over route, deep cross route, 16 to 18 yards.
But watch how quickly Mahomes gets to him and his drop.
So good on so many different ways.
I've never seen a seven step.
I mean, this might be less than 16.
This might just be like, hey, get over there.
Race route, race over there, a middle cross route.
Seven step drop, no hitch on a play action, and he's getting this ball out accurately too, right at the face mask.
It's good stuff.
It really is, right?
Pointing him out, look, it's just all pointing the part of the game.
Hey, you got him.
You're going to block him, not so fast.
We're going to insert and race over there before.
your safety or your corner can cover you. Look at this. It's sweet here, right? He's filling. They
should do this and put him out over there. That's going to be in the plan next. Look at the throw.
And he throws it such a catchable ball. I mean, he's got some zip on it, but he throws it in a way
that he's able to get him open. It's excellent. So good. All right, next play. Two by two formation
now. Mahomes is so good at understanding where pressure is coming from and then actually getting
it figured out got that guy free not a great not a great blocking down that's
something I think they got to really figure out because there's they're letting a
three technique come right through the right guard and right tackle not good at
all but a really good feel on stepping up in the pocket here's the play it's
called a circus route or a mini bench route you want to get to 14 to 16 14 to 16
yards and you have a middle read middle reads are a little bit difficult let me teach them real
quick um so you're reading the middle of field first two high safeties you want to run a post
route everything else um you want to run a basic cross where you're going here's the interesting
thing though if it's a too high safety and it's quarters you want to run that so the only time you
want to run this is cover two so the receiver is reading it you can sit in window one you can sit in
window two some homes obviously is working the quarters side this is quarters this is half right so
quarter quarter so you want to hit this in this window right here right that's a tough throw to
the field with sauce gardener who's lurking um so that's where you want to go with the ball that's exactly
what he does not sure where this mike is going overran it takes a really good feel for
it and it's second and long you're calling double bench which you think you would throw a
check down to and you're taking it to the next level not great right by smith this is not 77's fault
at all he tries to jump set not great lap tackle's doing pretty good they're helping them out a lot
how about kentz walker too look at that step up look at the step up bringing both hands right
there come on right here we go another two by two Kelsey all the way
outside, just a little man zone. Is it a corner? Is it a safety? All right. Well, we got here.
Now we're bringing them down. Got to figure out protection, complete bust and everything.
And left tackle as soon as I say that, right? I think he ended up bringing everyone that way.
Only way for Mahomes.
Throw that. You have Kelsey on this out route. You have this bench route. You have a sit route.
and a wrap route. Pretty simple. One, two, three, four. Read it across the board. But when you have pressure,
you got to figure it out. You look good. He looked really good, just sort of scrambling,
getting away from pressure. We'll see it right here. So they got to go all the way out right here.
He's got to be down and you've got to be hot off this guy. So let's see what 70 does. Ah, yeah,
70 messes up. As soon as I give him, as soon as I give him that.
Come on.
It's a full slide that way.
Mahomes has eyes in the back of his head, and he looks.
He knows exactly, he's like, looking at this guy.
He doesn't think he's going to lose to that guy.
He knows exactly what he's got to do, feels it.
And to be able to throw that, that's a heck of a catch too.
So good.
Next play right here, second and one.
I just love this.
They're in goal line front.
You bring Kelsey over, fake motion.
Come on.
good luck covering how you doing that how are you going to cover this it's impossible this is easy
it's just snag snag means flat a hitch route and a corner route and you're bringing over in goal
line i don't know why they're in goal line maybe because Kenneth walker was in trying to stop the run
this is what happens when you have a back like this so open i love the runaway too like just like come
them next play mentality let's get it going but such a good nice little okay c wolf right there
because you're motioning over what did you do right there watch mahomes touchdown just like wiped it off
like hey next next play love that so much Xavier worthy easy let's watch it though a lot of six
six one right here in the in the red zone I don't think this is
I wonder if he had the choice based on how Kenneth Walker is to like pitch it back.
Houdini, just wide open.
They're just getting wide open spaces.
Third and 11, start 10 all the way out there and now we're there.
First of all, what's the protection?
There's a lot of dudes up there where are they bringing it from.
Got to get that understood.
51's checking out.
Gave it away.
Come on.
This throw is silly.
Like, this is, this is.
this is crazy to me. First of all, he drops like 50 yards back in on third down. Here's the play.
Worthy, you're going to bring him over. I think it's a through route, but I think he's supposed
to bend it off like it is. You're going to have this receiver go here and then right here.
So he's just reading these safeties and whichever ones he takes, he's just going to throw the opposite.
First of all, like with the speed they have, you're like that's your 12-yard.
yards off, these dudes can absolutely run. So he sees Worthy, he watches Worthy,
Worthy has like four guys on him. So Worthy's job is to make sure this corner doesn't drop
kick to this post right here. It's exactly what happens. And the backers running with him.
But you can't throw this football to Thornton any better. Like this is a, this is a dude that's
going to help him. Rashu I, Syracet, Xavier Worthy, Travis Kelsey, Thornton, like, obviously,
10's good. Kintz Walker's not even the game.
So that's what he wants. And then all of a sudden, like, you have 57 passing through.
They're trying to pass all this stuff.
Like Mahomes is like, I'm going to throw it there. I'm going to throw it there.
All I want is not right there. They had this perfectly set up.
Look at him throw this. Dude, that might be the best of the week.
Worthy's pumped. Thornton's pumped. See it from this view. This view will be even sick.
Just watch. He understands. He calls out the protection, makes them get out of there.
one's ready seven step two hitches and he's falling off by the way it's like the
the fall away like what come on now that is silly good all right fourth and one I love
them going for it let's see what happens oh man just in the right spot at the right
time 11's just going right there it's just K4
or K, it's Spider 2Y banana.
We called it K, K4.
But it's a Grudenplay.
And you got big old 92 in there.
You know you're going to get them on the move.
But how are you allowing Mahomes to get outside the pocket?
He races to the end.
I'm like he's going to get it.
Sits it down this corner.
Noah Gray should keep running.
He's not quite Kelsey,
but I'm glad someone got it.
And then a dime.
Truly.
That's sweet.
I love 92.
Reminds me of Don Terry Poe.
everything's selling it 83 does a good job goes there 11 comes across she's got a lot of big people in there
and look at him throw that if he just keeps running it's a lot easier oh it's like playing db against
yourself not good don't do that don't do that nice feel though by 11 sort of settling down that would
have been bad if they didn't catch that all right here we go next play play 42 of the game
went to o t obviously i love the under center play i i love the under center play i
This is this seems so easy. It's not and it seems like there's just a bunch of people in there. They have 13 personnel. He's here
Corner route. He comes back out here. Kelsey has an over route and I believe this receiver
has that route. Throw into your left first of all not off sides. I don't know how not
throw into your left is hard you got to get your body going forward and then
So just like being able to find Kelsey, just the connection looked easy last night.
It just looked easy.
Let's watch it from this view.
Because going to your left as a quarterback, you got to get going downhill.
Oh my gosh.
Like sidearm?
Knowing this guy's going to be there.
The fact of the matter is you're throwing it.
I don't know how, like that just tells me his entire knee is healthy.
Everything's healthy.
That's stupid.
That's really good.
see you from this view getting Kelsey involves good look at the feel but Kelsey too you can't
really see right there it's the wiggle oh my he looked like himself all right next play we're
showing once again under center thought they were just going to run they were setting up week one to
throw this catch the ball this is the velocity throw this is what I'm talking about like this is
so sick on so many different levels um mainly because I like the route concept it's a pile
You want to hit this first cover two.
You get here, one runs a corner, run one's an over.
So you really want to read pylon to the over.
But you're doing under center and you're doing it out of three tight ends.
So you're 13 personnel.
Look at the front.
You get all these guys up here, eight guys up there in the box.
And you're getting shell coverage on Xavier Worthy.
You can't throw this any better.
He would have had over 400 yards throwing.
The zip on this football and the velocity on this football,
I don't care if it's not caught is what is the whole clip on this.
The play fake is good.
He feels more comfortable getting from under center.
The burst is there.
And then you could honestly have a two-way go.
Maybe that's what they need to put in because this would have been a wide open touchdown.
If that's the case.
Look when he starts throwing this.
This is about as wippy as I've seen him since 2023.
It's an amazing ball.
I don't know why we can't pan over on there.
got to get that work in cameras look how quickly this football gets there maybe this is a better view
what do you what come on now catch the ball but look like see the understanding of like where to go
perfect slot right here with the arm just a really really nice throw catch the ball
all right next play wasp this is wasp this is unbelievable watch this play watch this play this
reminds me of Shades of Tampa, throws that on the money sort of over top, right? You got to have
enough time to protect. You got to have enough time. They've done so many different things. Remember what
I showed you earlier. They went here. They went there and there and they hit this for a big play.
Not so fast. They were setting it up. Xavier Worthy over here. Dive in out. Deep corner and then right
here. Just got to throw it off this guy because when this guy goes in, he passes it to here.
genius play call, great throw, right? It's man to man. That route is so sick by Thornton. He's sort of
become their go-to-deep guy. Oh, was, baby. And then honestly, like, just figuring it out,
just like finding a time because this offensive line on the right side and struggled a little bit
right there just enough time. You're falling away from the throw across your body.
What are we doing? So sick. I love that they brought it back. It is,
totally wasp. See him move over left. So first of all, it's hard enough to throw the ball moving that way
because you're going to that. When you're falling away from it and you're falling away from your throw,
even more difficult. Look when he lets this ball go. He's already throwing it. If you float this too
much, that's a pick. He's able to throw it perfectly. Nice catch holding on. Dude, this is sweet.
Moving left, throwing back right. Look at this.
too oh so good was baby all right third one this is the game this is the game in o t i like it you got
xavier worthy faith going there my homes going to the left this doesn't seem like a hard thrill but boy is
it ever you know how hard that is to just put up and over that guy like it's so sweet on so many
different levels chiefs were able to get down there kick a field goal one-on-one started get got or sorry two
2 and 0 got away from really running the football, but I don't mind.
Like they set up the run for the pass.
They set up the past by running.
This is a sweet throw.
Chiefs are all the way back, man.
Hey guys, hope you really enjoyed that Patrick Mahomes won.
It was awesome.
Tell me what you think.
Leave it in the comments.
And you know we had to save one of the best performances for last.
That is Dak Prescott.
Four total touchdowns.
The dude is playing.
at an unbelievable level.
Yes, he didn't have a good first week,
but boy, did he show out against these commanders.
Let's get into it right now.

So we're going to be talking about the Borg all week long.
Are you ready to get some probes put in your flesh?
That's right.
Tune in.
Resistance is futile.
We're going to talk science, the culture of the Borg, various interpretations,
and we're going to talk about Star Trek First Contact
on Weird House Cinema on Friday.

Everything up to that point,

Us going on the road, doing Battle Mountain and Ely.
Yeah, you took me, you were one of the first people
took me on the road, which is funny because at the time I was like,
I don't know if I like this guy.
With rapper, actor, David Diggs.
The jump off for me was Hamilton,
and it was the most popular thing in a very long time.
But it was still, for me, it was me and my friends making something dumb.

On big lives, we take a single cultural icon.
People like Jane Fonda, George Michael, Richard Pryor.
And we pull apart the story behind the image.
And we do this by digging through the BBC's vast archive.
We're talking iconic moments in broadcast history.
I'm not just a boxer.
I'm educated.
I can talk.
all week on millions of subjects.
And forgotten interviews that change how we see these giants of our culture.
Well, if changing the system from the ground up is revolutionary, then I'm revolutionary.
We're here for the messy, the brilliant, the human version of our heroes.

30,000 feet in the sky. There's great food, comfortable chairs, and attentive stewardesses.
The stewardesses were so beautiful. But in reality, the stewardess job is far less glamorous
than it appears. It was the most sexist job I think you could have. In this era,
the airlines told these stewardesses, they have to be single.

You're not incurable. You're not broken. You're having a normal human experience, and we have a solution for that.
And that solution is our show, free therapy. I'm Ben. And I'm Kevin.
And we think everyone could use a little bit of therapy, including us.
Absolutely. That's why each week we sit down with a different therapist to talk about the things we're all dealing with.
If you're trying to get rid of anxiety, you're actually fueling more anxiety.
We talk to some of the leading therapists in the country about all of life's headaches,
work, family dynamics, and of course, dating in relationships.
Everyone chooses a different set of problems, challenges, flaws.
You have to figure out which set of problems you're willing to work with.
So listen to free therapy with Ben and Kevin on the IHartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
Because therapy is expensive, but our podcast is free.

You're probably just going to meet with some rich guy and he's going to whisk you away and I'll never see you again.
Oh.
Well, this is awkward.
Would you say a D-less actor?
D?
I don't even know there's this thing as D.
No, no, no.
I mean, like...
Can't even get on the C-list?
Like, I'm not even an average.
I'm not even passing.
I'm failing.

All right, Dak Prescott, we haven't done the Cowboys yet this year.
It's week two.
Dude is playing at a different level again.
Didn't play well the first week.
Just thought the position of quarterback this week was great.
I thought the game plan from Brian Chottnheimer was awesome.
And just everything that he did to sort of play the position,
we're going to go through it right now.
So you're going to have what we call a missile route.
So CD's up there.
Missile, you got a missile route.
So what's a missile route?
16 to 18 yards, right?
And you're going to sort of find between the numbers and the hash
and just find a zone in this soft coverage.
This is a really good route versus zone coverage.
It's exactly what they're doing.
They're bringing zone pressure.
So it's even better.
One less person to cover.
They're bringing five and they're dropping this guy out late.
So what he does, right?
He's up there, but he's staring at this safety.
So he's staring at the safety.
Here's what's interesting to me.
I think not positive.
I think they're trying to get into a too high safety.
Look.
Now, peep this.
Safety here goes down.
corner here stays there they're trying to get the too high look where this is a half this corner
is a half as well so deck knows that i think and reads the correct side more importantly i want
you to look at deck at his drop he's making sure this guy who's the middle run-through guy and this
tampa-to-ish look they're trying to get to goes this way because he wants to throw to cd ced and
george pickens need to get going one two three and then throws it right on
his chest you can't ask for a better start this is play five of the game so all this stuff's going on
what's happening they're trying to rotate they're trying to mess around with dack not so fast
i want you to watch right there so he sees that first of all that safety he's like all right if he was
free safety f s right here he would be there but he's going over there not so fast
and then as a quarterback too you can just sort of feel like feel that area that's where i want to
get. So if that's where I want to get, just make sure they go over there. He knows exactly what he's
doing. Probably could have let this go a little bit sooner on the hitch, but a really good pocket.
Thought the O line for Dallas just played okay. Dak got smoked a few times. Got to make sure
that's okay. Let's see it from this view, right? You have this double-a-get mug, not so fast we watch out.
They're trying to just be too cute with it. And sometimes when you do that, like Dax's footwork
and everything. That's one of the last of the dying breeds, man. Like there's not a lot of
Not a lot of pocket passers like him.
All right, here we go.
Next play.
All right, we got a three by one formation.
Ferguson, I think that CD.
Pickens is up there.
Man, they got all their guys on the field.
I thought Ferguson played a lot better than a lot of people thought.
I love this creativity on this play.
And really good feel by CD Lamb.
This is just a perfectly timed up motion.
So you're going to go there.
You're going to fake there.
And all you're doing is you're trying to just get a two.
man route going. So what this route is, okay, this two man route, you can go post or pylon. So I think
what happens here, let me draw this again. It's an overrout that's 18 to 22 yards. Man depth is 18.
If it's man, you're dropping at 18. If it's zone, you're going to 22. I like this dive in and then
it is a pylon, which means you go, that's how you spell it. You go to the back of the
pile on in the end zone so it's deep. A lot of receivers don't understand this. Watch what he does.
Just watch, put your eyes on CD. He sort of feels and sits down. He's like, why would I keep running
over there when I can just sit right here in a wide open window? Technically, you know, you should be
over here. But he's staying away from the bad guy. It's very simple football. It's not hard.
And then a heck of a catch too. And I just thought DAC did such a nice job of understanding.
ending the feel of the route.
So you're going to have one go, fake go, roll out, sit.
And when you roll out to the right and you're bringing something back across your left,
sometimes you get these underneath defenders to go back that way,
which he doesn't really fall for it.
But it's good.
And CD just sort of sits.
It's a high throw because he's trying to get it over this guy a little too high.
But a heck of a catch, this will be better on the opposite view.
I just like how they're all on the same page.
Dak looks a little tremor this year.
Right? So look at CD.
CD does not looking at the quarterback.
He's looking at the vision of this corner over here.
That's freaking sweet, man.
And he said, I'm just going to sit down.
Him and Dak have been playing long enough together.
Cool. Let's do it.
And a really good throw.
Catch.
All right next player right here.
Second and three.
Love this.
A lot of guys in the box for the commanders.
Pop Pass.
Oh, this had them in a blender.
This is so sick for so many different ways.
It's literally a pop pass, but it's how they get to it.
Tide in, tight in, tight in.
So it's 13 personnel.
You think you're going to end up, you know, running the football.
They're selling big time power.
His fate comes into it.
So you've got to do all the little things, right?
And then what CED he's going to do, he's going to act like he's going to block
because he doesn't want to get this attention to the safety.
And that's who Dack wants to get to suck up into this.
and he does and then CD's going to go right here.
What I love about this route here, he goes that way.
It's like a little corner route, and you're just reading one to two, and it's just a beauty.
It's just, it works perfectly.
You got to have this ball at face mask or higher on the back of the end zone, right?
One, two.
That's such easy money.
And I love the route here, because watch what it does to this defender as well.
So nice job by DAC, understanding.
I got to get that ball up and down.
But you're trying to affect everything for this safety with this play fake.
Boom, boom, there it goes.
Ah, got it.
Really nice.
Deck almost falls.
That's what I'm looking at right now.
I'm like, what is happening?
But look, look where the ball placement is, right?
If he wasn't there, 39 was like, wait, what's happening?
Wait, where's the ball?
I mean, it's just, it's a Picasso.
It really is.
13.
1, 2, 3 tight ends.
love that so much
everything tells you
run these hats are a little high
94 sort of beats them right there
everybody goes right there and then throws it
it's a slight a hand
slate a hand right here man sweet
all right next play
87 in motion not so fast
are they blitzing are they not
see what's happening
I've never really seen a play fake like this
and then throw this this is
this is a dime
truly
watch this route concept
down here at the bottom of your screen.
You're going to have a deep corner pile on,
and then I think that CD,
he gets into the coattels of here
and then rushes out.
But these guys have no idea what's happening.
They haven't seen the route concept.
I think what they think,
29 thinks, is it going to be a dagger route?
Not so fast.
We're breaking out.
No one knows what's happening.
I like the play fake, though.
It's like a little bit of block them up here
and then a shotgun instead of pistol.
It's like Waggle 5.
from the shotgun instead of pistol.
And I do like that.
Boom, boom, right?
Look at the pocket, too.
That pocket's great.
He goes back, one, two, three, four, five, hits his back step, throwing.
Throwing.
From the field, right?
All the way out here, it's perfect.
Money.
And keep some in bounds for him a chance to run, which is sweet.
So here, a little motion, the hardest blocks right here.
Play fake, going right here.
understanding where to go with the football.
You got a guy to help, right?
Chip, chip, chip to the flat.
So you're just going everything this way.
Picking Z's to lean back this way, which he is.
But that throw, it's just the ball.
Now, look, anyone can make that throw.
I'm not looking at that.
I'm looking at the actual play call
and the execution of the play call
is really, really good.
All right, next play right here.
Under center, two-by-two formation.
Here's the receivers down here.
Play action pass.
Ooh, another missile route.
So a couple things here.
CD is rolling.
Let's watch CD first.
It's supposed to be a double missile route.
He throws his hand up like he's open.
First of all, that throwing of hand,
there's no way a quarterback over there can see that.
So I'm glad deck didn't go to that side.
Anyway, it's supposed to be a double missile route.
Get in there.
Sit down versus zone.
Pulling the guard.
Nice job.
There's letting this guy go.
Pulling the guard, pulling the tackle.
Trying to get these guys sucked up.
Really nice throw, though.
Right here.
It's like quarters coverage.
His safety's coming up.
He's got a quarter, quarter, quarter, quarter, quarter.
Nice pocket.
He throws this between these four in the middle of the box.
Great throw.
Love it.
I like, you see how this offense just seems more creative than week one.
I like it.
So you're coming down, helping with this three, getting over here,
and then you're throwing, it's a missile.
It's a 16-yard curl route.
Boom, boom.
Really nice job by 19.
That is a hard block.
The nickel blitzes he's supposed to get them, which he does.
Oh, look at that throw.
See, I told you it's way better than you think.
Boom.
Nice job by picking.
going down and getting it boom boom here there boom boom see it one two three four five
hitchh pitch ball look how early he's doing that he's seeing him too i'd like to see a flat to pull this
guy out oh oh that's a dime all right first and goal from the nine all right empty got to be ready for
pressure got to be ready for everything they don't bring pressure oh come on now i don't know what the
commanders are doing but what I do know is it's a hitch and it's all go first of all
let me just say all go means four verticals and usually when you have this area and you
have three receivers into the short side of the field you're going to read this
side so that's exactly what he does and it's two eye safety so you're going to read
this guy can't be right you got Ferguson or you got this guy right here right you got
pick and choose and it's just why
open it's the play call it's everything it's a bust defensively but give me some of that easy
touchdowns are so hard to understand right a lot of teams play single high zone right here but i love it
right you're just getting it up and you're just you're not leading him too much but he's just so
open like and it's a good feel because i guarantee he was supposed to go here he's like hey there's
no one here let me just throttle down right and that can't that can't throw it fast enough one two
three no hitchball and then he's brother watch that yeah he's excited such a nice throw let's see it from
this view boom boom not sure what 54 is doing he sort of he needs to get a little more
depth but it's a really nice throw look how he melts inside he's melting too hard deck
understands that and throws the ball on his back shoulder just sort of set him up for success right
there. Love that so much. All right. Third and eight, money down. Got to figure it out. Bring
Ferguson over. What are they doing? All right. They're all up. What is the plan versus pressure? Do you have a
plan? Do you not? All right. We're backing out. Hey, we're able to step up. When they blitz, we get them.
Get shoddy right there. It's a checkdown. Checkdowns get first down sometimes.
And it's a three-level vertical read. I'm not quite sure what's happening. I think this guy is
supposed to go 40. I think CD is supposed to go 20 and I think Ferguson is supposed to go 10.
So this should be 40, 20 yards, 10 yards. A little bit of a mix up right here. But just such a
nice job by deck navigating the pocket, understanding, hey, all those guys up, look at all these
guys up. They're only bringing four. And they're bringing the inside four. So everyone else is
blitzing. If I have time, I're trying to get into this two-high safety look. If I have time,
I can step up into the pocket and I can deliver a strike down the field.
And he does this sort of running forward and finding Ferguson on the sidelines.
This is a massive third down too, by the way.
So you get all these guys up, right?
You get one, two, three, four, five, six, seven.
I always knew if these guys are fighting pre-snap on like what to do, he's probably not coming.
So you've got to understand the whole picture of this.
And they're trying to eat the backup.
They're trying to eat 33 up.
Let's see if it works.
See what I think they just bring these two.
They do a good job just pushing it off.
And I'm pretty sure Dack slid them all this way because he's like, oh, you're not blitzing.
So that's just sick quarterback play.
Understanding the protection, right?
Stepping up in the pocket and just holding onto the ball.
Look at all that looseness in the pocket.
That's made by Dack.
Obviously, that commanders aren't doing good job at it.
But to be able to throw this too, I've skipped that one out there.
I'm not DAC, but I've skipped that out there before.
So really nice job.
So just watch the pocket management by him.
Thinks he's going to throw to Ferguson right now.
Not so fast.
Understands here's the step-up playing.
So many guys don't do it.
Somebody guys freak out and just start running.
Eyes down the field.
Eyes down the field.
Act like you're running.
You have a D-end in space on 3rd and 10.
Good luck.
There's no way.
All right.
Next play.
Play 38 of the game.
Another red zone.
You know we like it.
Right?
Are we getting another touchdown?
dude all right this was not wide open this is dime and a really nice job by ferguson and dack on the same page
um so much stuff to like about this it's just it's four verticals everyone's going to the end zone
but it's a little bit tricky because this is a safety so this is cover four cheat when they're cheating
there's a three receiver side down here this receiver this sorry this safety is going to cheat
right they're trying to maybe double cover when the back goes this way so it's four strong this
way all right but a really nice job they went to the sideline they got this fixed of understanding
hey just for the step on my eyes are here this is where i want to go i'm going to have
ferguson beat the safety with the route and i'm going to beat this safety with my eyes it's exactly
what they do but he throws the football on him let's see it from this view because this will be
really good. He throws the football on him. You can even see this safety right here. So he's thinking right now,
Doc's like, oh, I got the middle of the field wide open again. There he starts creeping in. It's okay.
I'm going to do QB Vision cone right here and just enough it holds him and understand, hey, you have
to beat this guy and then I have to beat this guy with the throw and I got to beat this guy with my eyes.
So just playing the position, a quarterback, back shoulder two. And I mean, you. I mean,
just a heck of a throw, heck of a catch.
Can't believe it.
And then you get the signature point.
Yeah.
See it from this view.
See if there's any good stuff.
Are you kidding me?
Right?
Eyes, he understands one, two, three.
He's just ripping that.
Between all these guys, I'm going to beat you with my eyes.
I got to beat you with the route and the throw.
Throw was perfect.
Throw was perfect.
Dak felt this safety driving here.
He put it back shoulder.
The difficulty on this throw is wild to me.
And then Dak.
Yeah.
All right.
Last play right here.
And this is the best play that I've seen,
DAC.
This is the best throw I've seen all year long by DAC.
Really by anyone.
This is a dime.
From the opposite hash to the field,
honeyhole shot, turkey hole, whatever you want to call it?
I mean, there is just nothing that I love more
then a quarterback being aggressive as all get out versus two-eye safety look.
Here's the play.
You're going to have a post route down the middle.
You're going to have, I think, that CD-Lam up top,
and you have George Pickens down here.
So where do you want to read?
You want to read this safety.
If this safety goes out, you want to throw this.
If this safety goes in, you want to throw that.
But boy, when you can have the arm strength to throw it from the hash,
I mean, look at him there.
He's wide, but watch the hips.
And a lot of safeties can get out of this.
His hips are in looking.
So you can throw that, but he can go there.
It's much harder for this dude to then flip the hips and get out there.
And this is a corner that's dropping back trying to get it.
I don't know.
I mean, I think this is one of the better throws of the year we're in week two by deck.
So he like, he does something.
He like signals or something to him gets into a play.
understand what he wants to do
and just drives at home, man.
This is so sweet.
Look at him.
His eyes are down the field.
He can feel this safety.
Right?
He pumps up and he's like,
I got it.
I'm throwing.
This is a huck.
Look at this throw.
Are you kidding me?
There's only so many people in the world
that can make this throw.
Checks to it,
kills it, whatever.
And then this throw.
The Dallas Cowboys,
they got to fix their defense.
They got to fix their offense.
offensive line, but Dak Prescott is still an absolute baller. Are you kidding me?
All right, guys, hope you really enjoyed Dak Prescott, Brock Purdy, Patrick Mahomes,
