Starting point is 00:01:24 to make your free picks when the game goes live this Wednesday. I got mine. I beat one of y'all this week. Yeah, hey, all, Jack! I actually the last three weeks I beat y'all, but what was your record? This is my worst week. I was six of ten. Last week, I was eight of ten. We before I was seven of ten. So I'm searching for that ten of ten.
Starting point is 00:01:43 What was a Jeremy Club? Do you have the standings of last week? I don't have the results, but I have your picks. If we want to go through it quick, we can do that. Yeah, go ahead. You guys both had Nebraska seven. You guys both had Nebraska seven and a half, so that's a win. Lock. Had that.
Starting point is 00:01:56 Will had, Lock. Lock. Will had Missouri. Minus three and a half. You had Texas A&M plus three and a half, Taylor. So Will's two and O. North Carolina plus three and a half for both of you. So there we go.
Starting point is 00:02:08 Will had South Carolina plus 13 a half. So you are four in a row right now. Oh my word. I'm cooking right now. Then we had a little problem here with Texas eight and a half for Will. Oklahoma eight and a half. So Taylor, there you go. You made your ground back.
Starting point is 00:02:22 Both of you had Oregon minus 11 a half. Oh, shit. That's not the best. Taylor, you had Houston plus two and a half. Will, you had Kansas State minus 1 half. Lightwork with Houston. Wegman. Both of you had LSU minus 9 and a half, so that's an L.
Starting point is 00:02:36 You both had Penn State minus 1.5, so that's an L. And then you both had Georgia. I find it weird in my brain. I mean, it must be because it's Monday and the week just happened, but I feel really confident about USC in my brain right now. Yeah. As I would have last week this time. It's interesting.
Starting point is 00:02:53 Who do you feel confident about in the Big Ten? I'll tell you what, man. I don't know who Penn State plays. plays this week, but whoever they're playing, you got to watch out for the wounded animal theory. A team that's ready to go in, hoping they're home, because maybe their fans gave up on them. But if you're a team that's playing Penn State this week,
Starting point is 00:03:09 buckle up. We can find out right here. You can find out who does Penn State play this week? Oh, shit. Ooh. Oh, no. Oh, God. Buckle up, boys.
Starting point is 00:03:21 Ann Arbor, Michigan. It's a dog fight coming in. It's a dog fight coming in. It's a, oh, fuck. We got to get it. All right. That's okay. You like Penn State this week.
Starting point is 00:03:33 Hold on there's been a lot of talk about who the starting quarterback's going to be. And I'm sure the coach came out to do that's going to be this week. Who's going to be, Clum? They are rolling with Bryce Underwood. Now, right, we're rolling, Bryce. Come on, boys. Hell of a buy week this past week. This is the perfect week to have a buy week.
Starting point is 00:03:49 If there was any better week to have a buy week, it would be this week. Because there's such a great slate of college football in week seven. But to be able to sit down in. watch the games with my happiness and tag to my heart even though it is hanging by a threat at this point with what the Michigan Wolverians have been it was nice to sit back and enjoy ball how'd you must win for both squats must win for both squats I will say as I'm talking about my heartstrings holding on by a threat I look over to I will Compton and dude I don't know if we want to get into to do we want to get into it right away I have never and I'm just getting I will just speak for me
Starting point is 00:04:26 and then everybody else who was at the game, you're more than willing to chime in before we give the Florida will come because we know that'll be the bulk of this conversation. I've never pulled for a team as much as I did emotionally that wasn't mine to have in my entire life than I did for the Nebraska Cornhuskers this week.
Starting point is 00:04:46 It felt like we went to war. It felt like all of us were staying there, 10 toes down, all of us aligned, shields in hand, spears in the other, ready to take on a giant, the defending national champions. And boys, we, I will say we, we were this close to pulling it off.
Starting point is 00:05:04 Some of the most incredible things to ever happen to Bustraim the boys happened during that game while kids were playing while the infamous point took place. While they were able to go up, the play calling by Hogerson, unbelievable, the black shirts
Starting point is 00:05:17 were flying around. Other than just a handful of X-place, truly the Nebraska cornhuskers looked like a top 25. team to the point where I saw this morning that they got like 60-some votes to be in the top 25 even after a game like that, which is the most they got all year.
Starting point is 00:05:34 So as much as Nebraska feels the way they do, my hope and optimism as a mercenary or an individual that kind of came in, I feel really excited about where Nebraska is headed. Boys, do you have anything before we give it to Will? One of the other cool things was
Starting point is 00:05:53 when they went to you before the game. I don't know how everyone else felt, But like the juice that you were bringing, I was literally getting goosebumps as I was sitting there. It was so sick. And then you hit the Go Big Red and I'm not going to like say who's louder, who's not louder. But it was probably one of the loudest pops I've heard in a stadium,
Starting point is 00:06:10 maybe ever. It was sick. What was interesting too was like right before that they did lineups. And Clump, you and I were saying, oh, we're going to see who gets the most pop. Kalanji got the most pop. But it really wasn't there wasn't like a, oh, this is our guy kind of thing by like 90,000. 90 screaming fan 9,000 fans. Then some guy comes up.
Starting point is 00:06:30 No disrespect to this individual that was doing the pregame speech. I don't know who is this guy. Eric Crouch. Oh, you're talking about the Eric Crouch video? That's it, that's it. Some guy. He's a trophy winner.
Starting point is 00:06:41 Okay. That's a younger cat that was walking around the stadium. Yeah, yeah. That's a hazard trophy winner. Yeah, all right. He was a dog on the field. I would say stage presence wise. It wasn't what I was getting from Wilcompton.
Starting point is 00:06:55 It wasn't juice. I wasn't feeling the juice. Oh, with you on that. And the fans also, if that's Eric Crouch, a high's trove, but we're gonna giggle and laugh at Taylor. Like the fan base too was also there like, oh yeah, Eric Crouch is here. All right, Eric, very cool.
Starting point is 00:07:06 Will Compton comes on the screen before he even says a word, the fans start losing their minds. Okay? So what has more weighted value in this world? Living and dying by your team or a piece of metal? And as it stands with me and the Nebraska Cornhouse scores, seems like an individual that lives and dies with his team. When he hits the Go Big Red, you're right,
Starting point is 00:07:24 dude, that pop was incredible. it goes right to will and if there could be more of a pop it would even higher it was sick there's a lot there's a lot to be proud of goosebumps on the legs even like it was like a full like holy shit this is unreal nation was ready to fucking go on saturday they were ready to like i was even taken back because i'm sitting there either cody whoever whoever had like they're kind of their first experiences and i'm like i'm ready to see this first third down and honestly every down defensively 90,000 was on their feet. Like loud the entire game.
Starting point is 00:07:58 It was incredible. You talk about shields and everything else. Like everybody was so fucking ready and dialed in for that game. You felt it. Nebraska took the fight to Indiana. It sucked. What sucks is the last 10 years. It's the last 10 year thing because it felt like that day was,
Starting point is 00:08:16 that was going to be the day, right? And so I get the pain that ensued when it didn't go. our way like Calandria the stat line the performance after the point people are talking hey after the point happened like that might have been the curse that took them down yeah the willy see curse oh I'm still Nebraska they have a lot to be fired up about I was watching I watched every snap last night I held a Nebraska fans only meeting last night at about 11 p.m. on the post you made on Instagram yeah on Instagram and X out of respect for you by the way I did not watch that it said Nebraska Nebraska I snap I was like all right I'm up this is
Starting point is 00:08:54 them appreciate that this is for them so actually didn't even watch the clip there are people comment they I'm like I don't know why like this is four Nebraska fans only but dude we have so much to be fired up about it's truly like it's the 10 year ghost it's the 10 year curse thing that just has us has us a little bit down but man we are we're this fucking close like I was talking about here's how I separated it like we were five and one we were this record last year. Yeah. But we were more of like a pig with lipstick. Like we had glaring vulnerabilities stopping the run. We had glaring vulnerabilities on the line of scrimmage pass protection. Like we had all of those things and we were kind of just like a big loss in a sputter
Starting point is 00:09:37 waiting to happen. For this game right here being 5'1, like we just simply lost in the details over the weekend. Like you lose four, you four X plays about 200 yards, two plays there in the fourth quarter, the fourth and one. And then the, The marsh play, the slant that went to the house right after the Calandria point. We simply lost in the details. We haven't been in this spot where it's like you look at the totality. We're in a position where we are competing in the details. That is why Indiana was a national champion last year.
Starting point is 00:10:09 Like they win in those little elements when you're battle tests and things just aren't, they aren't going your way throughout the entire game because we played well defensively. We are moving the ball on them offensively. like you look at our third down percentage on offense, you look at their third down percentage on offense. They weren't playing well, but when they needed to make those plays and get out of those situations,
Starting point is 00:10:30 like they were able to. They played it in a way to where they didn't fully beat themselves at all times. And those are the details that win you a fucking national title. But you know, it's like this game is big coming up this weekend. Now you have that entire emotional dump. Like we went, we walked down the tunnel after the game And dude, you just felt the disappointment because we knew that game was ours to win.
Starting point is 00:10:56 Coaches just, you heard the fuck, fuck, fuck, the old buddy walking up after. People just quiet. Like, we knew what just happened in that game. Like, we pissed on our leg. Like, those couple plays bit us in the ass. There's plays offensively, like as well as we felt like clandering this offense played, there are plays offensively that I know players and coaches, they're awake at night because there was missed operatively.
Starting point is 00:11:19 opportunities, especially even late in the game, like when Calandria's kind of forcing the ball downfield where you just take some of the, you take some of the plays underneath. This one against Oregon, like Oregon, you talk about a wounded animal, like they are in must win mode. And now you got to go out to Eugene, 10 p.m. central time game, late game, like you got to stay up, you got to keep swinging because this team that just competed against Indiana, this is a team that can compete to be back in. Indianapolis this year. Like that might sound that could be a willy delusional. I'm just saying
Starting point is 00:11:54 what I've witnessed with this team this year. Like we don't have those deficiencies that we have had in the years past to where the potential is there. It's just can you get up? Can you block out the noise? All that 10 year bullshit that's going on because that's all I think about is you lose an emotional game like that. You can't let that loss turn it into two, three, four and you kind of just sputter like we have in the past. You got to fucking get back up and you got to get back to work. I feel like we have the team to do that. So that's kind of like where I'm at mentally. I'm fired up. I think Nebraska should be fired up about this team. But you just know it's all the fucking they can't get it done. Oh and 30 something in the last however many years, 10 years in
Starting point is 00:12:32 rent games. The, uh, it truly you guys played so well. At some points, like almost you guys knew what Indiana was going to do before Indiana even snap the ball. That's how impressive that defense was playing at certain points other than the X plays. That, that was like fourth, the word of the last play. the fourth and whatever that we were kind of on the side with that receiver. It seemed like a catchable ball from our advantage point when you watched the film. Was that? You talking about quasi?
Starting point is 00:12:56 I believe so. I believe so. I don't want to put you. Yeah, it was the end of the game. Fourth quarter. I think it was when you guys went for it when we were kind of like, why are we going for it instead of punting the ball? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:05 I was asking about that. They talked about the analytics to, that's why you do. Like, I don't care about the math there. I'm kind of thinking, fuck it. Yeah. It felt like you should have pun it. That play clearly didn't hurt you guys
Starting point is 00:13:14 because you guys went and got to stop at a punt anyway. but was that a catchable ball? Did that seem like it was? I feel like Quasi could have went after that ball. Okay. All right. A little bit. Are you talking about the ball where he got flipped?
Starting point is 00:13:26 No. That was the play right before. So it was third and ten he was coming over. He's got an opportunity to catch the ball. He drops it before he kind of gets hit. Yeah. Like, fuck, you got to make. That's a play like that needs to be made.
Starting point is 00:13:40 It's one of those ones like if you're a receiver going over the middle, you know you're going to get hit. Yeah. And it's like, that's the difference sometimes in receivers. You know it's going to happen. You might as well get the best result you can out of whatever punishments you're going to take place from the body.
Starting point is 00:13:53 And he took the punishment. He just, he kind of dropped it before he got hit. And then the next play when they kind of went scramble drill, Calandria lost it in a spot to where I feel like Quasi could go after it. The DB is, the corner is kind of screaming like downfield up at him. I don't know if that was like in his head.
Starting point is 00:14:11 It's like a shot he took right before. Even the last couple. Because there was, again, what sucks is they got after us a couple times on three-man pressure when they were, dude, the op was there, downfield. And then that fourth down, he was either third down or fourth down when Jacoury's coming over the middle. Glangor tries forcing it downfield, I think, in the double coverage. When Jacori is just screen, like, he would have had nothing but green grass to at least
Starting point is 00:14:40 getting field goal range during that last drive. So we even still had an opportunity there at the end. it dude, it just, that one ends the way it does, and you're just like, fuck me, man. There's so much, like, you bring up the last 10 years in the 0 and 30 and top 25 games, and as much as like, hey, every year's a new year, new culture, this coach, he wasn't here for the last 10 years,
Starting point is 00:15:00 he's been, this is his fourth year, all the things. But dude, when you guys go down and score, and Calandria has that Johnny Mansell-esque run, where he winds it back and points at you and scores in a touchdown, it goes to celebrate with you, but his teammates kind of stop him. The, the, the, how lively that stadium was where it was like, it felt like, oh, finally. Oh, finally.
Starting point is 00:15:21 Nebraska. We're finally going to get over the hump. That's been haunting us for so long. And then for the very next offensive play on Indiana, for there to be that RPO quick slant to Nick Marsh over the middle, 75 touchdown. At that point, it felt like all 10 years of, oh, and 30, I'm not top 25 teams was as heavy as it's ever been on that stadium. Because I remember looking at you.
Starting point is 00:15:46 It got quiet. It got quiet. Like, oh, fuck, this is going to happen again. It was like, just, it's a beaten dog. Like, oh, here we go again. This is going to take place. I look at you and you have that look on your face like, oh, fuck, it's going to happen again. To where I, when I said to you, I was say, hey, you guys are in the same position you were before those last two drives.
Starting point is 00:16:06 Just more time has gone off the clock. Like, we're okay. It's all good. I'm looking at club. I'm like, hey, we're good. The look on my face was, that can't happen. That can't happen right now. The only thing that couldn't happen.
Starting point is 00:16:17 The only thing, like let them, let them like, drove down the field. Drove to the field, take five, six minutes out the clock. It's like, okay, now we're in four minute. And what I've seen from that offensive line is, hell. Like, you're like, perimeter plays were winning the game. Perimeter runs were everything. But there were a few, a handful of times. It was between the tackles.
Starting point is 00:16:37 It's good on good. Muscle versus muscle. And Nebraska was winning the line of scrimmage. So you kind of go in there. there with a four minute like oh I feel good about the Huskers right now in this position this rule kid's pretty incredible 6.7 after contact all the things and for it to go down like that man just so because the stat line you just put up shirm it is not at all what happened in this game like in the end it was one for 10 on third downs my man that that that and you look at
Starting point is 00:17:04 mars he's got six receptions for 187 and two yards you got uh uh hoover he's got 287 two touchdowns 12 for 22 Like those things, it's like That's why stats are liars They did not tell the story of the game How much that Nebraska controlled this football game Inside and Out throughout the totality I think every college football fan was tapped into that game Was witnessing the same things we were witnessing
Starting point is 00:17:30 And it's just like oh fuck it happened to the boys again 80-something plays to like four to that we like doubled their player Would they have 44? Yeah, Indiana only had 44 plays Didn't even have 20 minutes of possession Like like like I knew it said over 80 All 90,000
Starting point is 00:17:46 Including the team like that was right there It felt like we left everything on the field for that game Like we were we exhausted after the game We did everything we possibly We were in Nebraska's tight end What was his stats? He's awesome Luke yeah dude
Starting point is 00:18:00 I don't know if the stats were good But he he's got some juice I like him He's got juice for sure He's awesome Let's see it Yeah Luke 7 for 45 6.4 7 catches
Starting point is 00:18:12 though. Yeah. He had some big first down catches. Dude, he was the perfect outlet. He was the perfect outlet. Because Calandria, if Calandria can figure out just processing a defensive, feeling comfortable in a pocket, that's a special boy right there. He's got all the orange juice.
Starting point is 00:18:28 We're walking up the tunnel. He's coming out of tunnel. I just hear, whoa, yeah. I'm like, oh, shit. He's at, where's well? I'm like, hey, I had this fucking kid away from it. I didn't even know it was Calandria. What that was going on?
Starting point is 00:18:39 And as he's walking away, I see 10. I'm like, oh, that kid's got. that some fucking juice and we got 90 minutes before this game starts. Yeah. And I walked over to Indiana sideline to watch them warm up. No one smiled. There was not a human being that smiled. No one was getting raw, raw, no juice.
Starting point is 00:18:54 I go up to the defense of line coach. By the way, great physique on the defense line coach. And I go, hey, is it always like this in your warmups? You guys don't like get hyped up or nothing. He goes, you never win the warmups. I'm like, oh shit. And he's like in this, we'll just call it a character. It's probably who he is.
Starting point is 00:19:12 but he breaks it just so much ago big fan of you guys a show by the way and then walks away and I'm like holy shit like these guys mean fucking business and I look over
Starting point is 00:19:21 the minute that's happening and I threw you like see like four Nebraska Husker fans like doing the newest TikTok dance and I'm like oh my God we might be in for a blood bath today sure enough dude
Starting point is 00:19:31 juice juice was going the juice played up until the end an eye heart radio experience Carly Pierce live at the opera house October 16th Win your way in to the exclusive IHeartRadio sound check party, an intimate pre-show performance and Q&A.

Speaking of Indiana coaches, you guys want to talk about meeting SIG, how that went?
Starting point is 00:21:23 Went how you thought it would. Yeah, exactly how you thought it would. Saw him. I think you pointed him out. Yeah. You're like, oh, Sigs right over there. I was like, oh, I'm going to introduce myself. Walked up to him, shook his hand.
Starting point is 00:21:32 He hit you with the Mike Evans. Like, oh, wait, wait. Yeah, he did. And it hurt the minute it was happening too. I was like, hey, dude, I meet you. My name is Tiro Luwan. Blah, blah. And he's like, oh, nice.
Starting point is 00:21:42 And he goes, what's your name again? Grab his malign ear. looks at it. I panic. I go, do a show with Will Compton and Josh Pate. I just want to say,
Starting point is 00:21:49 I love what you, what you've been able to do. And then that's when Will comes up and I'm thinking myself, thank God I have reinforcements here because I'm not handling this first impression. Well, I'm thinking,
Starting point is 00:21:57 I got to get this gun out. I got to get this gun out. Who's going to pull the trigger first? And he fucking blasts my ass, dude. He gets me in a walk, boom, there it is right there. I see I hit him with the squirt gun afterwards. Go back.
Starting point is 00:22:09 Go back. Go back for him and get out of my vision. I'm smiling. There's pain in those eyes, dude. There's so much pain in my eyes right there. Did he end with a cool to you? Is that what he said to you?
Starting point is 00:22:17 He said, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. It was all, it was all body bag central. All body bag. Here he comes, here comes the gun. Bang, there's the shot. Will Compton sees it. Look at Will's eyes. You can zoom it on those eyes a little bit.
Starting point is 00:22:30 You can see, you don't get my boy like that. You're not going to do that. Okay, here's where Will made a mistake. If we're watching the film back, you got to pull the gun out right there. Okay? Because I just took one. in the gut. I'm bleeding out in the corner. You're not really going to be able to save me at this point. Best you can do is avenge me. Go and play it for just a second. Bang. That's my
Starting point is 00:22:53 that's my hand. Oh, hold on. Go a little longer. Bang. Right there. Will it goes. I can't even look look at him. I don't have the balls. Tried to get sick in the back. I'm bleeding out. I can't, I don't even see that. You see my eyes. I'm blinking. I'm looking at the camera going, yeah, I'm a dead body right now. I'm not, I'm no longer with us on this. earth. Will's trying his best but he just saw his boy get killed like that you can't blame him and he gets a ricochet shot some poor soul in the corner some ball boy just got killed. And look at Will's face he's like fine he knows right there he missed he knows right there that he missed cowardice by me I couldn't even I didn't have the stones
Starting point is 00:23:32 I didn't have the stones even look at him let me try and see and we can go back in time and we think about how we talked about the locker room how SIG sees everything I I think was it Josh or you that has a reference of like the... Josh was... I was trying to say I'm not giving any rat poison because I don't want the digital team to be able to turn it around. And then Josh was stamping it by they do see everything. They do see everything.
Starting point is 00:23:54 The digital team came up to me pregame. Yeah. Introduced himself and he was like, I was laughing because you was talking about not giving any rat poison. So the digital team couldn't turn it around. I was like, I appreciate you seeing that. He was phenomenal, by the way. Yeah, they're all great team.
Starting point is 00:24:09 Great people. I remember us saying like we need to get say we need to gun him before he guns us in that. And I can't help, I can't help but feel like he knew and he gunned my ass. I have a digital team said, hey, your honor. Just make sure you throw the finger at him. The team goes, Your Honor, Wilcompton gave us nothing,
Starting point is 00:24:28 but I do want you to know if they come across you, there will be guns pointed. I suggest you get the gun out first. And he went, gotcha. And sure enough, I'm dead. Hopefully we see him again soon. So multiple else. He could have seen a preview.
Starting point is 00:24:42 If he's watching right now, let us know in the comments. If you knew Signetti, if you had seen it. I would love an opportunity for Signetti to be on either Bustin with the boys, the locker room, Busting and Payne on campus, any of them, right? And I would love to just have another shot to put a gun in his face. Respectfully, respectfully. Not like a good. Figure gun.
Starting point is 00:25:01 No, no, like figuratively point the gun at him. Hey, how you doing? And I had to see how frustrated he gets. And I'd love for us to interview him. And every question we have, he rates it in 1 to 10 before he answers the question. I think that'd be a fun little spin. It'd be a fun little spin. We could get the D-Corinator on.
Starting point is 00:25:18 Yeah. He could be down. I'm doing right now. I met him too. You know who's a stud? That dude's resting heart rate was 43 the whole time before the game. He was not, he didn't care about a thing. You know who's a stud is 97 on their line of scrimmage, on their defensive line.
Starting point is 00:25:32 Go ball player? Oh, yeah. He was putting some hands on boys on Saturday. Is he the one that got hurt last year or two years ago against Ohio State? No. sacks that kid yeah can't want it says says the graveyard in the corner um more news three teams in the SEC top 10 teams lost this past weekend it was an incredible it was an incredible series of events it took place south carolina gamecox take the take down the florida gators
Starting point is 00:26:02 florida gators were once referenced to just two weeks ago just a mere 14 days ago that's possibly being the 2019 ls u s u tigers that seems like that has come and gone at this point Shout out Summerall in his post game. He's telling everybody, hey, everyone's telling us we arrived. I think we have now, we can all agree that we've been exposed. Yeah, I, dude, I appreciated him even talking to. He's like, even when we were winning and had that great win against Ole Miss, he's like, there are some things that I was aware that you're seeing that the moment
Starting point is 00:26:31 you start getting patted on the ass about it. Like, we had some of these vulnerabilities and exposures like that just hadn't gotten exposed yet. And now you've seen it after a couple weeks. I actually, dude, I have a question for you. This could be a fun exercise. Bama lost. LSU lost an OT.
Starting point is 00:26:46 Florida lost to South Carolina. And then let's also throw in Tennessee surviving against Arkansas. And then Missouri is a one-loss team right now. Out of those five... Did we bring up Texas, Oklahoma? Oh, yeah, Texas. Texas losing Oklahoma.
Starting point is 00:27:02 That's a good one as well. So you got six teams there. Which of those teams would you say is on fraud alert? Those six teams, is the ones that won? there's a mix of losing and winning in there okay uh okay let's do a little process so if i'm looking at georgia do you think bam is on fraud alert no i think i think georgia i mean Alabama prove that they can they are one of the top dogs in the cc they ran the ball effectively keel and russell had himself a decent game like there were some hiccups here and there but there's
Starting point is 00:27:32 multiple calls in that game as well that if they go the other way if gunner stockson's interception that was called interception in the field then overturn was actually an interception i think we're looking at Alabama W at Georgia loss right now because that was in the high red or in that fringe area on the Georgia side of the ball. So they come away with points there. I agree. Yeah, Bama's the top 10 team.
Starting point is 00:27:53 They're good. To me, just to put it in a nutshell of all this, I see Georgia and Alabama in the SAC championship again after what was just displayed on Saturday night. Both teams extremely well coach. Both teams played very well. Georgia just happened to have the chalk last, and that's the reason why they win the game.
Starting point is 00:28:08 You know, Gunter Stockton also incredible. Kentucky, Like what's a conversation? Like LSU is clearly in my brain on fraud alert. Like this is their worst start since 2023. Everyone's all on Lane Kiffin. They love them the death. What happens against Clemson happens?
Starting point is 00:28:24 And all of a sudden, you drop one to Ole Miss. You drop one in Kentucky. There's a lot of weird things that take place in that game too. That is kind of like leaving my brain at this moment. But got to give a lot of credit to Kentucky. Like do I think they are contenders in the SEC? No. But I think that's like everyone in Kentucky is like,
Starting point is 00:28:42 We made a hell of a hire with Will Stein. We felt fired up about that. I think LSU is, you know how A&M last year? I think LSU is this year's Texas A&M team. The only problem with that analogy is that A&M didn't get exposed because they were undefeated and they played Texas at the end of the year. I'm saying every A&M game last year, they lost to any SEC team that had a winning record in the SEC,
Starting point is 00:29:06 but every team that was below 500, they took care of and beat. Yeah. Because LSU, it's like you look at the couple wins that they did. do have it's like what are their wins this year it's Clemson and A&M yeah who does LSU play this week I think it's a Mississippi State Mississippi State that's I mean it's at it's in Bad Roo yeah this is a this is one where yeah this could determine either of their seasons right right because you it's like both those teams are in that fringe like are you a team that's taking the next step or are you a team that's going to falter and fall into the abyss of what is
Starting point is 00:29:46 the SEC, like that is going to be an electric atmosphere. Yeah, Mississippi State coming off of a buy after getting their ass beat by Alabama. Yeah. But Mississippi State, yeah, I would put them both in the same category. And the way like Kenny Minchie and the rest of that Kentucky offense handled LSU to put 35 points on them, like you got to assume Camaro Taylor and that speed on the perimeter is going to be able to put up some points. So can Sam Levitt?
Starting point is 00:30:11 And they're without trade as green, correct? Yeah, he's done for the season. I'm looking at Cody and I'm looking at clump. Allegedly, he might be back, right? Okay, I don't know. I don't know. We can definitely find that out. But that's a very, very interesting game, kind of give you the feeling that just talking about it on Monday, not looking at everything, like my brain kind of leans Mississippi State in a lot of ways. Coming off a buy, get your ass beat. It's a hard buy a week.
Starting point is 00:30:40 Lang Kiff him, a lot of people are now doubting him. Baton Rouge, are they going to be as a lot of. electric and amazing as we saw in Clemson, the Clemson game probably not like, it's going to be a very difficult place to play. Must win game for both. We'll pull up the notes just again. Sam Levitt.
Starting point is 00:30:59 I do love this exercise. Sam Levitt's the only quarterback in FBS to throw an interception to every one of his team's games this season two, which is tough. It's a tough stat. It's a tough stat, especially because that was my husband pick. The hard rock bat casino app is here, Ontario. It's safe, secure, and crystal clear

Concerned about your gambling or that of someone close to you,
Starting point is 00:31:37 visit connectsonterio.ca. What are you doing with Texas? Buddy. I mean, it's not a national championship team right now. not the way that Arch Bannings playing. You can't have, you cannot afford more talent than they have on the offensive side of the ball.
Starting point is 00:31:54 Maybe a little bit in the interior office line, but like two great tackles. You have three incredible wide receiver ones splattered all over the field. You have two backs that rushed for a thousand yards last year. It's like, I don't know what the issue is. And I don't like slandering a manning name. I feel uncomfortable about even having that conversation.
Starting point is 00:32:15 But he had a bad fourth quarter. He's got to play better. He's got to play better. Turn the ball over like that. The Texas is going to go as far as Arch Manning takes that team. That is kind of where I stand with it. And what I saw against Oklahoma, it's like, well, it seems like it feels like not very far. Like not SEC championship, not a national championship.
Starting point is 00:32:32 It's very interesting. And then it goes into kind of what Quinn Euras went through. People get over the Quinn Euras saga. He ends up having to go to the NFL because they're going to start Archmanning. Polys Sark has that conversation with him. Now, Arch, he is not necessarily played as well as people. expected to play. He definitely has not played as well as people expected to play. And now they probably have another quarterback that's sitting back there, another five-star guy that
Starting point is 00:32:54 everyone's kind of excited to see. So is Texas now say, hey, we want this kid. What does the conversation look like? Is Sark the head coach of Texas next year? That's another question that it kind of has to be looked at if they falter, let's say they don't make the playoffs again or they make the playoffs and they're one and done because that is the conversation that we had during our futures or at a locker room. It kind of makes you, it's uncomfortable to talk about because I like Sark friend of the show, but like you put that much money into a roster and the ego that you mentioned of Texas
Starting point is 00:33:21 where they expect to be a year and a year out, it's not another realm of conversations. Yeah, I mean, to wonder that. They have arguably the hardest schedule in college football and the SEC. Yeah, if they drop a couple, if they drop a couple more on their three loss,
Starting point is 00:33:37 three plus lost team. Yeah. Stark will absolutely be on the hot seat. They go Florida, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Missouri, LSU, Arkansas, A&M. Yeah, they have a... That's a four to five game. They have a gauntlet.
Starting point is 00:33:52 They got a gaunt, man. Rattle those off again? You said it. Yep. So next one is Florida, followed by Ole Miss, then Mississippi State, then Missouri,
Starting point is 00:34:02 then LSU, then Arkansas, and A&M. Who does Old Miss play this week? Missouri. Yeah, Ole Miss and Missouri. That's a game right there, you know. And those...
Starting point is 00:34:12 Trinidad, Austin Simmons. Yeah. Hey, Austin Simmons gave one up last week. Hey, Pay was talking shit. They're out there. I've been talking about how they're out there. Okay, I'm a big fan of Austin Simmons, but Payne was talking shit. And sure enough, interception comes.
Starting point is 00:34:31 So, Crystal Ball-Louie. I'd say about that. Texas has to beat Florida. Florida's in a very vulnerable position. Like, as much as we thought they were good, like maybe. Florida has to beat Texas, too. Like putting the what was their rushing yards this past week like I know Jim Ball like they didn't perform not a whole lot Running game again yeah ball have 59 yards rushing and they had what three turnovers three turnovers the norseller's four touchdowns thrown four touchdowns thrown one rushed
Starting point is 00:34:59 And the game the game plan on the Florida offense is out there like you you stop obviously easier said than done even though it's been done the last couple weeks You slow down this rushing attack for Florida and you have Aaron file throw the ball he's not we got to watch Gunner Stockton be in a spot over the weekend against Bama where he is dealing in tight windows and tight moments um but yeah the game plan is kind of out there on florida's offense right now and what like who rushes the ball really well tennessee rushes the ball really well texas handled the rush the rush offense of tennessee just a couple weeks ago so it's like texas could probably turn them into hey we got to put the game on Aaron Falo's shoulders and make Wilson and Brown handle business down the field
Starting point is 00:35:42 and what's shown in the last couple of weeks is if you make them do that, just like you said. So it gives you the edge on Texas right there. With tons of these matchups this week, I don't say this lightly, could be the most pivotal week in college football. He did not say that lightly. Because we drain the swamp. Who the Cox have this week, dude? Hey, Cock to, let's give a round of applause for Cocktober.
Starting point is 00:36:06 There's much as things change. They stay the same. man that's incredible no it was a huge win it was it was nice to see coach beamer get the smile oh no oh man it was so deserved yeah it was so deserved the my favorite thing about the game and i hope they have this they do this for the rest of the season dylan stewart first player off the bus right behind beamer i need him as the face of the program for the last six or seven weeks of the season because it shows the ownership and it shows it sends a message to GMs like, hey, I know I messed up and now I'm owning it and now I'm going to go ball.
Starting point is 00:36:43 He got himself a sack, a forced fumble, caused problems all day, and that's what I like to see. I mean, look, Tennessee, Oklahoma, A&M, Arkansas. Dude, that's why the beginning of the season pissed me off so much is because you've got to beat Mississippi State, you've got to beat Kentucky. Even just one of them. Then you have a little bit of you're still in the mix right now. Right, you're still in the mix
Starting point is 00:37:08 Like you guys are in must-win mode throughout the rest of the year Right Tennessee, South Carolina game is very interesting Yeah, I'll be there Tennessee Jack, I might be there
Starting point is 00:37:18 Jack, you go into that game? I don't know, JP does say he has a ticket for me I told him I would be decided as of yesterday Still have not made a decision So here we are Might be a game called Darius Rucker
Starting point is 00:37:29 Tennessee, not in a disrespectful way I would say you have to put them in that category of potential fraud alert Yeah, I mean, SEC Road game, though. SC Road wins and SEC Road win. It was gross and our identities lacking outside of defense in the run game.
Starting point is 00:37:44 But, yeah, I didn't like the performance on the field. It was uninspiring. Like, I got you on the road game, SEC road game, but Arkansas, like that's, you know. I think that they would have, if they had beaten Tennessee, they would have been the first game in 14 SEC games that they had actually won one. So, I don't know. This is a huge week. very scary week with Bama coming in
Starting point is 00:38:07 Oxville. They could come throttle us or we could turn it around. So this is kind of the season for us. What's the line on that game right now? Not sure. Also a backup quarterback, Tennessee. Not their starter. Yeah. Who knows who's going to start this week?
Starting point is 00:38:21 Bazon's hurt. He's not benched. Yeah, but who knows who's going to be out there this week? Who knows? You got to keep the injury report. You got to keep him guessing on the injury report. How about the Bama Georgia game? Did that not live up to the hype? Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:38:38 The Kirby Smart speech. Kirby's free game and I saw there was a postgame speech that might have been more electric than the other one. Dude, that one that went to go out. You get done with the Lord's Prayer. Nothing, there's nothing like it. You get done praying. It's the funniest bit that you brought up early
Starting point is 00:38:53 in our Tennessee careers together. Go ahead, go ahead. You get done with the Lord's Prayer and you immediately, you start trying to talk. I need eyes on me. Then you find the GA, shut the fucking door. And then you just, you start, getting in war mode.
Starting point is 00:39:06 You start getting war mode. Fuck all the F words you can possibly say right after the Lord's player. And then you finish up with this, this is a him or me game. It's him or me. And the way he says him or me five or six different times, they all mean different shit. Like, you understand it? It's him or it's fucking me. And I'm like, God damn, dude, I want to run through a brick wall.
Starting point is 00:39:26 I'm sitting there on my couch. Yeah, and he's like, fuck the scoreboard. I don't care about the scoreboard. Yes. And dude. They want to run the football. They say they're the more physical team. Oh man, he just goes nuts, man.
Starting point is 00:39:37 They're talking about physicality, physicality. Oh, we'll show him fucking physicality. They've been hearing all about their tight ends. And hey, listen, that's a good group. I've been hearing all about their tight ends. And they went in there, dude, the second half, the way Georgia was able to run the football. That was the game.
Starting point is 00:39:51 That and a non-DPI call by Georgia. That was a bad call. That was a bad call. The interception as well that Alabama had that was not. That we kind of brushed over. That's bad. Can't have that. And then this young cat number five for,
Starting point is 00:40:05 Alabama. Dejali. Oh, bro. Where Kailin Dabor is screaming at him, you lost us the game. I don't know if those are the exact words, but I'm not a lip reader, not professional. It seemed like he said, you cost us the game over and over and over again. Did he cost him the game? No, because you're in the position.
Starting point is 00:40:20 Yeah, DeBore will go back. Cost him the opportunity. Yeah. I actually, I mess with Dibor getting that fiery on the field because I'm in the middle of watching the Sabin documentary right now. And it's all belt to ass on every single person that crosses Nick Sabin the whole time. And then it'll cut to Nick Sabin. him being so calm and collected,
Starting point is 00:40:37 be like, I never lost my cool. And then it shows him with his fucking headset flying and all that. And he's like, everything was strategic the whole time. And so I'm watching the board. And I'm like, yeah, dude, like, that is the way you got to handle it. You have to, like, that kid makes a massive mistake. Does he cost you the game? No, you're in, like, there's five or six plays in every game
Starting point is 00:40:56 that, like, determines the outcome when a game's that close. However, him getting his ass chewed on the sidelines, it sends a message to the whole team. that there's a standard, there's a discipline that you have to have, and got me more fired up for Alabama in the future. They ran the ball effectively. Keelan Russell is the only freshman quarterback or the only young five-star out of that class
Starting point is 00:41:17 that has been exactly what we expected them to be. He is so impressive. Ryan Coleman Williams goes down as a weird. Did you see that play? He has a ball in the end zone. He lands on his shoulder, but he has like this weird twitch after. DeBore said in the post game, he's dealing with a head-in-jointed.
Starting point is 00:41:34 but he doesn't like it's like a whiplash thing so hopefully he's all right but i'm a huge fan i'm a huge fan of debor in the way he handled that that situation i just love seeing the fire yeah and especially with the dpi him just fucking going nuts good thing and shout out to dray kirkpatrick it's like when de jane lee was coming to the sideline he wasn't trying to hear it from debor right and dray is like is like grabbing him and he's like hey stay in there and you need to look at you need to look at the head coach ha ha ha ha ha ha clah dick draft class 2014 draft class chat yeah same defense same squad ha ha clinton dix but him saying they're like hey you need to stand you need to look at the head coach because he you when you watch it
Starting point is 00:42:14 these yon's not even trying to like look and hear what coach debor saying even though it's like bro what the fuck are you doing that was the most selfish penalty to have in that moment right and it's like that kid makes a massive mistake millions of people are watching this game millions of people are watching get your ass chew egos are flaring up right there so i don't blame i don't even know how old this kid is just assume he's between 18 and 21. I'm sure we're getting slowly past the COVID area. He doesn't have to be 27. He's young.
Starting point is 00:42:40 Makes a mistake in a massive game. Clearly his ego is going to be, I don't want to hear it. I don't want to do that. Totally normal for a kid of that age to have that. But Ha ha ha Clinton Dix, being in that locker room before, playing in the NFL, having the success he did, and to be able to turn him around, that's a huge W for that team.
Starting point is 00:42:56 Accountability all around, dude. We're probably going to see that game again. Oh, yeah, man. I hope we get to it. And it was awesome. Like, we knew going into that game. game it was going to come down because Georgia was going to come after Keel and Russell. And all of the Cody, you were talking about it before the show started, but kind of the delayed
Starting point is 00:43:11 blitzing that was taking place. They're sitting here doing, uh, we would call it coffee house or teacup blitz where you kind of shuffle out and add back in the speed of this Georgia front. Like, bro, it was a physical fucking football game. We interrupt this episode to tell you guys that neutral is teaming up with Bustin with the boys to give one lucky fan and their crew the chance to experience the ultimate tailgate in Las Vegas. It's made with real vodka, real juice. It comes in a variety of flavors, including fan favorites like pineapple, watermelon to name a couple. It is the perfect drink for you guys. Starting point is 00:44:23 And we knew it was going to come down to Keel and Russell. Can he deal? Can these receivers get open against, you know, that Georgia secondary littered with potential first rounders. Man-to-man coverage, and it was, dude, it was just, it was awesome. It was awesome. It was awesome to watch Gunnar Stockton and press the ball down the field, too, like multiple times, tight windows, tight coverage, and just put a piss missile right through a guy's chest. It was impressive.
Starting point is 00:44:46 Yeah, step up in the pocket, hang in there, wait for a late dig. Tied in over in the middle when they went down and scored that first one to go up 10-0. Two plays back-to-back kind of just putting it. And again, it's like in the middle of the field. You see that one on the sideline where he just puts it right in the only spot it can be caught. It was, do Gunner Stockton look good, man. The times that he does have to throw the ball down field, because again, that entire offense,
Starting point is 00:45:09 we know we've talked about it is built on efficiency, but when Gunner's got to go out there and win you a game or when you drive, he's got the ability to do so. The thing that is concerning for me in Alabama, because we're going to play crystal ball, and just assume at this very moment that the SEC championship will be played between Alabama and Georgia. Georgia ran the ball extremely effectively.
Starting point is 00:45:30 They didn't have Bowen, they didn't have Frazier. Shout out Walker, dude. Shout out Walker. Shout out that Phillips kid. Yeah, Phillips. That kid is a little spark plug. Like, they gave him the ball 20, 25 times that game. He's little.
Starting point is 00:45:42 And then Kirby Smart sat there. This is also what I love. I know I'm jumping around. Pre-game post-game speech, Kirby Smart. Piss hot, all the things. Fuck these guys. You see a clip of him walking over to the small Georgia students section and doing the belt-the-ass move.
Starting point is 00:45:55 In front of everybody, press conference immediately. First off, I want to give a lot of credit to Alabama. Did a great job. Ball, blah. It's not personal. this is just football. I don't look at the games as far as my record goes against Alabama and Alabama. Same thing. We're killing the bore, which I love like the tale of the Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. But this Phillips kid to come in the game and make the cuts he did the burst, the X plays.
Starting point is 00:46:17 Like it was so impressive to see this kid get called the way, his number get called the way it was and to handle business, which brings us to the SEC championship, right? Playing the game, let's just assume everything ends up Alabama, Georgia. At this point, I'm gonna assume that Bowen and Frazier are healthy. How much stronger is that run game against Alabama and Atlanta? You know, that's the thing that concerns me a little bit. But also, talking on both sides of my mouth, last year, Alabama beats Georgia in the regular season, and then Georgia goes BTA in the SAC championship.
Starting point is 00:46:50 So there's a lot to look forward to what comes to SAC. Georgia is, they look like the number one team of the country. Yeah. They're physical, they have a lot of returning experience. like they are tough man like i don't know how you beat them yeah and you see like a lot of secondaries even in the SEC that just like aren't great tacklers and you watch this georgia secondary fly around and just lay the wood yeah like it's so much fun to watch yeah it's it's fun dude as far as an eye heart radio experience carly pierce live at the opera house october 16th
Starting point is 00:47:28 Win your way in to the exclusive IHeartRadio sound check party, an intimate pre-show performance and Q&A. And then stay for the full show. Harley Pierce, live in Toronto. Enter now for your chance to win at iHeartRadio.ca. Stream Carly's new album, Honest Woman. Available now. Well, Big Ten.
Starting point is 00:47:56 I mean, the last three national championships have come out of the Big Ten, We assumed another one would come out. We all thought it was going to be Oregon. They lose to Oklahoma State. Seven turnovers, bro. And then they go and play a UCLA team. Bob Chisney, now he's got them boys absolutely rolling. 200 yards per game right now.
Starting point is 00:48:13 Both those running backs are awesome. Nico is doing a great job taking care of the football as well. Like that team is flying a round and a good job. And the backup too coming in and playing a hell of a game to finish it out. And we sat there on Wednesday and said all of us around the table, AAA stat. We said this is Oregon's game. They figured themselves out.
Starting point is 00:48:29 have themselves a bio we take place. Rayola, he has a whole game plan revolving around him. Rayola, I don't know what the fuck was going on with this kid. It was horrible to watch. The point of the kid gets benched. Never want to see a kid flounder and have that type happen. Now Oregon's in a very interesting spot. And you were talking to me about, what was it, 2012, Bo Polini?
Starting point is 00:48:51 You lose two early games early in the season. Oh, yeah. What was that conversation like for you guys? Just being in must win mode. It's like we dropped one against UC. We lost Ohio State. Bo comes in. You want to, hey, all the goals you kind of have before the season, you want any shot at the postseason.
Starting point is 00:49:07 We have to win every fucking game now. Like, did we have seven second and a half comebacks throughout the rest of the year? Yeah, we did. We ended up going 10 and 2. Oregon is in the spot to where they cannot drop any more games. Right. If they're going to, you know, even be talked about in the Big Ten conference title game or even be talked about for the college football playoff.
Starting point is 00:49:27 They can't lose anymore. Yeah. And Dante Moore's got to get back on the field. Dante Moore's got to get back on the field. And they play Nebraska next week, which is a scary game. It's a scary game for both teams. If you're Oregon, you put that film on,
Starting point is 00:49:41 you're like, oh, we're not going to, this is not. We looked at the calendar. We said, this is a W. We don't know anymore if this one's a W or not. Nebraska, you got up this high. RPM's rocking at the 10, a little bit in the red. Now you had to get up again just one week later at a night game in Otson.
Starting point is 00:49:54 So there's a lot running on this game as well. Go back to the notes real quick for me. Let's see. USC. Clump, this is your game of the year. Go ahead. What you got for us on that? Nothing much.
Starting point is 00:50:10 I just figured USC is just more talented. No offense to Penn State. Penn State is a good football team. I love Matt Campbell, but USC's just loaded with dudes. I know the whole travel thing was a big thing, but I just didn't think Penn State could keep up with them. Then they couldn't.
Starting point is 00:50:24 It's all I got close. It'll be nuts if we get to the end of the year. And the, let's just say Ohio State's going to be in the Big Ten championship. USC and UCLA playing to get the second spot in the Big Ten championship. Oh, wow. Because they're at the end of the season. UCLA looks good right now.
Starting point is 00:50:40 USC is playing better. Like obviously when they lose to Oregon, it's kind of like, okay, Lincoln Riley's going to be on the hot seat. Could they sputter here since they can't get their signature win? USC looks good to where if they take care of their schedule, we could be looking at USC and UCLA at the end of the year playing to get in for Indianapolis. Very interesting. One thing we're figuring, we forgot about this week, Ohio State's got to go to Bloomington
Starting point is 00:51:05 and play the defending national champs. Yeah. That could be an interesting one. Let's say Ohio State drops it. Indiana wins. We're the last week in November watching Michigan play Ohio State and the Michigan beat them. Ohio State is not in the playoffs. Think about that.
Starting point is 00:51:24 Think about that. Yeah. No, they got to focus on Penn State right now. Yeah. They got to focus on Penn State. We got to focus on looking at a defense and maybe not just throwing it to a guy in double coverage. Probably do that.
Starting point is 00:51:35 We have to focus on running the ball a little bit better. Yeah. But I'm just saying, could be interesting. No bad ideas. No bad ideas. It's crazy to think. Ohio State out. It's crazy to think after this week, Oregon and Ohio State could both be two lost teams.
Starting point is 00:51:49 I feel like at the start of the year, we never would have thought something like that could happen. Definitely not Oregon, man. Crazy to think at the end of next week, Oregon could be a three-level. lost team. Oregon could be a three lost team. Could be a three lost team. Who had more votes in the AP poll, Oregon or Nebraska?
Starting point is 00:52:04 Sorry. I'm not sure. I just find that's super interesting at this matchup. I don't know. I feel like we had some conversations in the off season of like it being kind of a cupcake game
Starting point is 00:52:13 for Oregon. I mean, they were before the year started and you're going through Nebraska schedule. Oregon was a 23 and a half point favorite at that time. Now the line, I want to say going into this week when I saw it yesterday,
Starting point is 00:52:25 it was Nebraska plus seven and a half. It's six and a half now. Six and a half now. Six and a half. Six and a half is the number. That's a crazy just swing. Just even thinking about Oregon not being ranked in this game.
Starting point is 00:52:38 With all the talent in the world. And then we got a shot out there. All the talent in the world makes that A gap look really shitty. The hottest conference in college football right now, it's gotta be the Big 12. It's gotta be the Big 12. It's gotta be the big 12. I just keep going back to us sitting there being like,
Starting point is 00:52:54 it's Texas Tech and everybody else. And it's really not. Dude, you got B-W. Huge game this weekend for the entire conference against Notre Dame. Utah is undefeated. Texas Tech undefeated. Oklahoma State is as sexy as ever right now since that first week loss. I don't know some team down in Texas.
Starting point is 00:53:13 Tulsa. But now hold on now. Just a quick little point on Oklahoma State. That score is 4228. It was 21.21 at one point. UCF came to play a little bit. They're running through Oklahoma State's defense a little too much. It got a little scary for a minute, but they ended up pulling away, obviously, at the end.
Starting point is 00:53:29 And then you got Houston. They've only had one loss against Texas Tech. They beat these shit out of Kansas State. And that's another score that doesn't tell the whole story. Like, it should be even farther apart because Houston was BTA all day on that team. And you got Houston and Oklahoma State this weekend. It's going to be a good game. Going to Oklahoma State.
Starting point is 00:53:49 Same. Same. Still water. That's where we would have taken the show. Still, he gets crazy. With all the paddles, when the crowd gets into it. I don't know shit about Oklahoma State. I got an offer by Oklahoma State in high school.
Starting point is 00:54:04 And the biggest selling point to my dad was the coach out there and goes, hey, listen, I'll know where you're sons at all points. It's so flat out here. I'll stand in a corner and I'll be able to see Taylor wherever he goes. He'll never get into trouble out here. Is Oklahoma State the campus too where when Texas was coming to town, they had like a steer head on campus? I believe so.
Starting point is 00:54:22 Like the last year that Texas was in the big twilight. there was a fraternity that went to a local farm. They slaughtered. It wasn't even a true longhorn. It was just a bull. The people did get arrested. Yeah. It was a huge deal.
Starting point is 00:54:38 Yeah. Huge deal. That's one of those ideas that you talk about it. No one has the balls just be like maybe this is a dumb ass idea, boys. Right. And then you do it. Who can't sit there and say that? You know, a group of young men in a fraternity.
Starting point is 00:54:53 The idea didn't get beyond their little group chat. thinking about it. That's a tough one, boy. Bad ball there. Bad ball. Bad ball around. But yeah, the Big 12 is getting spicier and spicier by the week.
Starting point is 00:55:04 And the ACC, Louisville beats Florida State, 44 to 20. That's a nice little deal right there. We got UNC getting their first top 25 win. Bill Belichick, first top 25 win against Pitt 21 to 17.
Starting point is 00:55:16 We're not going to mention the fact that Heinzsche was out for that game. The Texas P's the pit, man. They got ranked. They got their respect. Yeah. They were looking up and up and Hintchel goes out for the year.
Starting point is 00:55:25 year. We knew that this was an A-Gap situation. North Carolina handles business. Georgia Tag beats Duke undefeated Duke 2825. Hey, that sucks for Duke and Duke fans. That sucks. Yeah, I would say it sucks for Florida State, Pitt, and Duke that they all lost this week. But everybody, you know, when you're talking about showing respect to the ACC and who's good, who's not, talking about SMU, Louisville, Miami, and then to go, like, you see him in the comments. Nate Sheppard, who would lead the league, lead the country in rushing yards and everything else, and they're screaming for their respect. You can't get beat by Georgia Tech.
Starting point is 00:56:02 Just can't happen. Can't have it. And I know we got to get out of here. We got to get our fix of the G-6. Oh, by the way, Wake Forest. Yeah. They got a good ball club. I need Louisville to figure their shit out a little bit because they're way too good of a
Starting point is 00:56:13 ball club to be losing here and there. All right? When they got two losses on the year? Three. Three losses. Well, yeah, old mess. Yeah, yeah. But two in conference play.
Starting point is 00:56:22 That's just crazy. I want to give a shout. I need to remember his name, but you got to pull him up for me, that Oregon State wide receiver. This cat. Jesse Legree. Jesse Legree. He's got less catches than Jeremiah Smith right now, more yards and more touchdowns. And it took him until this week to hit the Heisman pose in a touchdown.
Starting point is 00:56:42 They hit him in a post game press conference or on the field, rather. And they're like, hey, you hit the Heisman. What do you think about that? He goes, oh, I just want the rest of the world to know that I'm a Heisman contender as well. This kid's over 100 yards a game right now. He is crushing it. True freshman. Leads the nation in receiving yards
Starting point is 00:56:58 as a true freshman. Just crazy. Stud. This is a stud wide receiver. Just want to give a little love right there. Their quarterback's salty too. Atkinson. Was it Atkinson?
Starting point is 00:57:09 Atkinson. Yeah, he can dish it a little bit too. Got my eyes in the portal right now, fellas. Don't you worry. Got my eyes on that portal. I know we're in October, but I'm looking at that portal already. I like what I see at Oregon State right now. Can we get, can we get it?
Starting point is 00:57:24 Did we get a fix with the G6? Let me sit back. Move the mic out of the way and get this fix real quick. Well, that's perfect. The first one is San Diego State had 14 confirmed cases of the mumps, which caused some issues leading up to their game against Oregon State, who had to administer booster shots to their players. Oregon State goes on to put up 651 total yards and beat him 66 to 14.
Starting point is 00:57:48 Jamarcus Shepherd may have been the winning head coach, but I'm personally reaching out to Gavin Newsom to bump up San Diego State head coaches Sean Lewis social credit score following CDC guidelines as far as social distancing recommendations on that field when it came to guarding Oregon State's receivers
Starting point is 00:58:05 saying then yeah I had a shout out to Jesse Legree but beat me to the punch there sorry sorry I shouldn't even brought him up Troy puts it to Southern Miss was a headline but it was also what I prompted Grock word for word after watching high school musical two
Starting point is 00:58:23 in my Knoxville hotel room. Hot. All jokes aside, Troy did put up 55 points in a fun Tuesday night game. The Sacramento State's FBS struggles continue as they lose to bowling green
Starting point is 00:58:40 38 to 10. The only green bowls those northern California folk are used to are the ones that make you very giggly or listen to jam bands or join a cult. Bad, bad stuff.
Starting point is 00:58:56 Did you write down bad, bad stuff? Everything I read is on here. Old Dominion head coach, Ricky Ronnie, and his monarch celebrated their first sunbelt win in a downpour by sliding down the muddy App State Hillside. Tough look for the mountaineers, letting the monarchy storm the gates, seize the high ground,
Starting point is 00:59:16 and claim their land on a hard-fought battle in close quarters combat. Side note, I took the over in that game. The score was zero to zero. zero at half. The score was three to two after the third and ended at 10 to three. Oof. From now on, from now on, I'm the only over I'm taking involving Old Dominion will be involving the amount of paid appearances by Matt Ballone at Old Dominion's youthful, indoor, outdoor Nashville bar, Odie's.
Starting point is 00:59:44 Here's the flyer. He flies private. He plays hockey. He's your wife's favorite podcaster. He's hotter than John Mateer, and he's coming to your favorite. bar. Come meet bus in with the boy's icon Matt Malone this Saturday. Ladies free before 11 p.m. Fine print. Attendance is not guaranteed a meeting, conversation, photo, autograph, or interaction with Matt Malone, appearance times
Starting point is 01:00:07 duration, and accessor of the sole discretion of Mr. Malone in the venue management. There's no Mr. Hans headline this week. Research kind of got too dark. Found out his accomplice though, his Mr. Hans' right hand man. He actually fled to spring
Starting point is 01:00:26 Hill. He fled. Yeah, he fled to Spring Hill. And he got caught up with a Shetland pony. Yeah. Which, so he kind of stayed in the minor leagues. He used his buddy as a cautionary tale.
Starting point is 01:00:41 Stayed smaller. Which kind of like Sack State should be a cautionary tale for FCS teams moving up to the FBS. Like, stay with the Shetland ponies down there, you know? Yeah, yeah. Eat you know.
Starting point is 01:00:55 That's all I got. Hey, listen, we got to get an ISO on him from now. You got to do a fix the G6 from here now. Get him just a straight shot. Get it done. Boys, you feel good? Feel great. Appreciate y'all.
