Hello, my dolls. Welcome back to another episode of Busy Yet Pretty. I'm your host, Jaden
Naley. I hope you dolls have been doing lovely as always, as pre-usual, especially during these
winter cold days. I'm just so excited to talk to you guys. Every single time I talk to you guys,
I feel like we're on a FaceTime call, even though I'm not hearing something back because I'm
talking to a mic, but it still feels like I'm talking to my best friends because you guys,
are truly my best friends. I am currently on my period and I'm just so tired. It's something that I've really
realized is how my body feels is very influenced by my hormones and what my cycle is. And currently I'm
on my period. So I'm just so tired and I feel like I'm dragging along. I can barely get
anything done. I feel like I'm not being productive. So I have really been trying to listen to
my body and be like, you know what?
What's being productive is not doing work right now, resting and going back to it when I feel
like it or when I can because it's not good to force things because in the end of the day,
it's not going to be productive if you're not getting anything done and looking at things to
do.
Like, I'm looking at my calendar of things to do and I'm not doing any of them.
I'm just like putting them off because I just can't get them done right now.
I'm like not in the mood.
and I realize it's better to rest and recoup and that will actually be more productive
where I'll be ready to do the work.
So I think it's really important to listen to your body.
And yes, I just want to let you guys know because I feel this all the time.
And I want you guys to know that I can relate and everyone can relate.
Anyways, guys, let's get into today's weekly review.
So this week, my family was in town, which was so fun.
We went to the farmers market.
The Melrose Farmers Market is my favorite.
I find so much good produce and food there.
I just love it.
And we went to a lot of fun little spots.
Another thing that I did this week was evening rooftop Pilates.
I went with my friend and we went to evening rooftop Pilates, which I felt was going to be really chilly out since it was at night and it's been colder lately.
But actually, they had heaters.
so it was just so nice and relaxing.
I just loved it so much.
Another weekly review is I went to the Spotify Carnival.
It was seriously so amazing.
Spotify invited me to their end of the year.
Spotify Rapps event and it was just so fun.
Paris Hilton literally DJed.
I was so in shock.
She's truly one of the best DJs.
And it was just such a fun time.
I also went to the For Love and Lemons event, which was so so lovely.
I had a lot of fun doing that
And honestly, this week has been full of fun
Little times and I think it's really good to get back to doing work
But you know what?
My period just hit so we were trying to take it slow
But getting back to work.
Okay, moving on to current obsessions.
So my current obsession is the Arawon Buffalo cauliflower.
I know I always say this,
But the Aeroon Buffalo cauliflower is one of the best foods
at Air One, I have to say, at their hot bar, I always get their buffalo cauliflower, their
Brussels sprouts, and I also love their squash noodles. It's so, so good. I'm just so obsessed with
it. I could eat it literally every day. But I am just so obsessed with a good, fulfilling,
healthy food. I, of course, love to eat really healthy and healthy. I don't just mean salads.
I mean clean ingredients and nutritious foods that have a lot.
lot of vitamins and protein.
So I have just been really loving Airwans hot bar lately.
Another current obsession is evening Pilates.
As I said, I just went to evening Pilates and a lot of times I'll do something for the
first time and just become obsessed.
So that is now my current obsession because I think it's just so relaxing and nice.
Another current obsession is the farmer's market produce.
I have always bought my produce at Trader Joe's and don't give me wrong.
I'm a Trader Joe's girl. I love Trader Joe's, but I also bought it places like Costco and Target.
And yes, all those places have great produce. But honestly, the farmer's market has really good
produce for a great price. So I've been loving the farmers market produce so much. I feel like
they last a lot longer also. Okay. Another cramp session is Seymots. I honestly read a lot into
sea moss and realize you have to take only a certain amount and not very often or it has too much
selenium in it where it can be an overload which selenium is great for your thyroid but you're
only supposed to have it in specific small amounts so i have just been watching how much i take
and not too much but seymos literally cleared my skin up i feel like i've had some little bumps
not necessarily acne, just kind of like clog pores, I feel like, and my skin has been so smooth
from it lately.
Lastly, my current obsession is relaxing piano music.
I literally love, love piano music for the Christmas time.
I think it's so nice and it just really sets the tone to being warm and cozy.
I have my mesa margela candle lit up and it smells just so good.
I just love that so much.
Okay, moving on to my goal of the week.
So my goal of the week, which is not really a goal,
but it's something that I definitely want to do,
is try some peppermint mocha lattes.
I love peppermint mocha, but I literally never get it.
And I feel like I always just stick to a regular,
like Americano, a latte, or a macha.
But peppermint mocha lottes are so amazing.
And I've seen there's been some new holiday drinks coming out at places.
So that is something that I really want to do is try new holiday drinks.
Another goal of the week is to start meditating in the morning.
I was meditating in the morning about like a few months ago pretty often and it was just
so nice to relax and it made my day feel really calm and not so stressed out.
So I feel like that's been something that has really helped me.
And I really want to get started doing that because it's made me feel really relaxed and
just calm. So I definitely feel like morning meditations are something that I want to start doing.
Another goal of the week is to finish my Christmas shopping. I have waited too long this year to
start Christmas shopping and I got a little done but I really want to finish it up so I can just
enjoy the rest of the season, stress-free without trying to figure out what I'm going to get everyone.
And I really just want to enjoy the holiday spirit. Another goal of the week is to try going to
new farmers markets. I know there's a ton of farmers markets near me in the area. And honestly,
if you guys have any recommendations in the LA area of good farmers markets, definitely let me know.
My last goal of the week is to start the morning with fresh air in a walk. I just think it's really
nice to start the morning with fresh air as well because it really just feels nice not be trapped
inside all day. I mean, most of us either work in an office or work at home, but no matter what,
we're inside somewhere. So not necessarily all of us, but a lot of us may be working inside.
And I feel like that can be kind of hard to get fresh air. And I just feel like fresh air is
incomparable. So I really, really think it's important to start doing that every morning. And as well
as I want to start going on a little walk, I feel like walks are just so nice and relaxing to just
get your day started with. It's not a hardcore workout where it leaves you feeling anxious or drains
your energy, but it really just like starts your energy for the day and gets you moving.
Okay.
Now on to a self-love question to ask yourself, how do I decompress and relax?
What does that environment look like for me?
I love that so much because I think it's really important to prioritize decompressing and
relaxing because things can become stressful with work, school, and everything.
So I think it's really nice to prioritize that time, whether that's in the morning, at night,
or a little bit between the day,
I think it's really nice to acknowledge that
and try to figure out what is the best environment
for you to do that with.
Now, moving on to the affirmation.
I accomplish all that I put my mind to.
I love that affirmation because I think it's really simple
and easy to affirm.
Although it's short and simple,
I think it's really good and powerful
and really good to affirm
because that just says a lot to accomplish
that everything that you put your mind to.
So I just love that one so much.
Next step is a podcast review.
This podcast review is from Danny and Danny said,
Hi, I want to thank you so much for your podcast.
I started listening about a month ago and I'm so glad I found it because I've never been so
confident and motivated.
Thank you so much again.
I seriously love that review so much.
It just makes me so happy to hear that the podcast has truly made you feel more motivated and
confident.
All I strive for is to help you dolls work on
self-improvement and self-love, so that just makes me so happy to hear.
Okay, guys, now let's get into today's episode.
This episode has been highly requested on talking about this, so I'm really excited to talk
about this topic.
Embracing and touching base with your divine feminine, I think it's so beautiful to embrace
your divine feminine, and let's get straight into it, my dolls.
Society can definitely make us feel that being feminine isn't strong, and
that is the biggest lie to ever exist.
Being feminine is literally so strong and powerful and beautiful.
And being a strong, confident, independent girl.
If you're wanting to embrace your feminine side,
I think it's so important to not only embrace your feminine side,
but also being strong and confident and an independent woman.
Naturally, I am such a girly girl.
I love, love, love feminine things.
I just think it's so cute.
I love pink.
I love dresses.
I love it all.
I love pretty things.
Pink, jewelry, dress up, makeup.
You know it.
I love it.
But I also like to embrace my more masculine side.
And just an example is things like I like streetwear clothing.
And I used to, a long time ago, like just playing around like skateboarding outside and stuff,
which isn't traditionally more of a masculine thing.
but it's about being confident in both your feminine side and your masculine side.
I think I cherish my feminine side so much because I am very confident in embracing my masculine side as well.
If you are confident in your own masculinity and you are a woman, then you are able to embrace your feminine side more.
Being feminine isn't solely revolved around beauty, items, and just outward beauty, a lot of it comes from within, which I think is really important to talk about.
A few traits that are included in feminine energy is gentleness, gracefulness, creativity,
and society categorizes being feminine in physical beauty often,
rather than it also being focused on the inward parts of feminine energy.
Feminine energy is just so beautiful, and I think it's so important to really express it outward
and most importantly express it within yourself.
And when I mean express it within yourself, I mean really feel.
those feelings and take care of yourself rather than just trying to wear makeup and dresses.
Of course, that's definitely how to express your more feminine side, but also to look inward.
As feminine energy does, it shows a lot of caring for others, and I think it's so important to
embrace that trait of caring to care for yourself, whether that's self-care, self-love,
and just providing for yourself as you would for someone else or
the significant other, or to care for their children, put that feminine energy into caring for
yourself as well. I think that's one of the most important things when having that trait of
feminine energy is to care for yourself. Being feminine doesn't need to also take away from your
masculine side. A lot of times I think people think it's one or the other. You can be both feminine and
masculine and have different traits in both. And another thing is being feminine doesn't need to fear
masculine energy either because I know being feminine and soft and sweet and wanting to trust others
and stuff can make it hard to trust masculine energy. For instance, let's say you are embracing
your feminine energy and just carrying energy, it's hard to open up and like put that wall down
to let masculine energy in and to trust masculinity. But it's not that we should fear masculinity.
Lots of men, or as I should say, boys have toxic masculinity.
If you are fearing of something, it should not be masculinity.
It would be toxic masculinity.
And let's say you're fearing masculine energy, you may put a wall up and try to protect your feminine energy from not getting hurt.
And it's important to realize how masculine energy is great and it can really complement feminine energy.
But there's a difference between masculinity and toxic masculinity.
Some highlighted traits that you can do to embrace your feminine energy that I think is really helpful when trying to touch base with your feminine side is being vulnerable.
I know it's hard to be vulnerable because we want to have a wall up, but being vulnerable, like I said, some people think that being feminine needs to just completely let your wall down.
Really embracing your feminine energy means to be sweet, soft, yet a strong woman and to be your own advocate and to stand behind.
your own beliefs and boundaries is one of the most important things when having feminine energy.
Another thing to embrace your feminine energy is to pamper yourself.
I think self-care is so important and whether you like to get your nails done, your hair done,
do your skin care, makeup, go shopping.
All those things can really help touch base with your feminine side, so I just love those.
Another thing you can do to touch base with your feminine energy is to fall in love with the mirror.
And I don't care if anyone says that's narcissistic.
It's not.
It's self-love.
And to love yourself, you should be loving your reflection.
There's people in your family or your friends or your significant other who you love.
When you look at them and you love them.
You should be doing the same thing.
You should look in the mirror and say, I love you.
Because you do.
You should love yourself.
Another one is to enjoy nature and to enjoy the scenery of the world.
it's super nice to go outside and just look at the trees, look at the sun, flowers.
All those things are really nice to be in tuned with Mother Nature, to touch base with your feminine energy.
Another good one is to nourish your body.
I think caring and nourishing your body is so important to touch base for your feminine energy
because you would care for someone else.
Feminine traits are caring and you would care for others.
So the most importantly you need to do is care for yourself.
For instance, I'm someone who loves to work.
I naturally love working for fun.
I would want to work because I love it.
I love working.
But it's also really good to tone down that work hard hustle side to value your downtime
and to reserve time to just be with yourself and not working.
Trust me, I love working.
I realize when I value my alone time,
I value my downtime.
It has really helped me be more in tune with who I am and just to be more relaxed.
So I put a question story over my Instagram for you guys to ask questions on your divine
feminine and I receive so many amazing questions.
So I decided to pick my very favorites and let's start going through them.
Is it true that Princess Treatment comes from feminine energy?
And the answer is yes.
course, Princess Treatment definitely comes from feminine energy.
How do I incorporate my divine feminine energy into my daily life?
Like I said, caring for yourself is one of the most important things.
Compliment the mirror.
That's something that's really important too to love yourself.
And another one, like I said, was reserve alone time.
Alone time and time to just have downtime is one of the nicest things to do when incorporating
your divine feminine side into your daily life.
life. As a busy, parentheses, yet pretty, girl, how do you keep in touch with your feminine and
soft side? So sometimes people think that you have to let your guard down and boundaries go,
but embracing those soft, feminine traits, and to be the powerful woman you are, and not allowing
things that are disrespectful to you, I like to call that calm and confident. Another question is,
how do you balance your masculinity with your feminine side? Example, hard workouts.
I think it's so important to listen to your body and to honor its needs.
If you're not feeling like your feminine side doesn't come naturally and you're not loving being feminine, you can lean more towards your masculine side.
That's okay.
Sometimes I wake up wanting to wear a really cute bow in my hair with dress and heels.
And then the next day I'll wake up wanting to wear big pants, a hoodie, and a beanie.
Like you don't know.
That's the best part of embracing your divine feminine because you're confident in your energy where you can be however you want to be.
You don't have to be a specific way.
If you like hard workouts, then do hard workouts.
If you don't love Pilates, then don't do Pilates.
Do hard ab workouts.
If you don't like hard ab workouts, then do Pilates in yoga.
It's different for everyone and there's no specific way.
And it all comes down to is the divine feminine is listening to your body and honoring its needs.
Another question is, how do I embrace my divine feminine without focusing on physical wellness and care?
Obviously, those are some of the main things that you focus on when trying to touch base with your divine feminine.
I think it's really important to also go out and embrace nature, meditate, provide for yourself.
And something that I really like that doesn't focus on physical wellness or care is manifesting.
I think that's really another good thing to do.
Another question is, how do you deal with society perceiving feminine energy as weakness?
Staying confident behind both your feminine and masculine side.
And if society perceives that as weakness to be feminine, then they are not confident in their
feminine energy.
Another question is, how do I tap into my divine feminine after being in a relationship that
made me feel opposite?
This is such a good question as well.
I really do love this one.
And I would really say is reserve time for yourself and to take that power back.
You need to take that power back into realizing how beautiful, how soft and gentle you are
and to be present with yourself.
Fall in love with how beautiful you and your soul is.
And I think that's really important when taking your power back is self-love and self-care.
Another question is, what's your advice to younger girls who are ashamed for their
feminine interest.
Example, pink clothes, etc.
I would say, ignore it.
Literally, I remember when I was deep into my cottage core style and I would get people
questioning me and I was just confident because I liked it.
That was what I liked and I don't care what other people said about me.
I liked it myself.
So ignore what others say, be confident and secure in your interest.
Another question is how to stop correlating with juvenile.
Nile, quote, two-childrenish stigma.
Example, the color pink, pig tails, and all of that.
Let me just say, if men didn't exist, we could dress up how we want.
That's the truth.
We could honestly dress how we want and not be scared to walk alone at night, not be so
sexualized.
But society as a whole can definitely portray feminine style as childrenish sometimes, but there
definitely is a bold line and bold difference between acting childish and
feminine. I think it narrows down to you yourself expressing your feminine energy and making the
overall decision, am I being feminine or is this being too childish? Which I think is so awful for the
people who do sexualize that stuff. Like an example is I used to love carrying around a teddy beer backpack.
I thought it was so cute like a few years ago. Now I was in my teens. And like it was so cute. And like all my like
other girly girlfriends loved it too, but it also can be looked at in a different way.
I think it's obvious when someone's truly trying to act way younger than they are rather than
expressing their feminine energy.
But I definitely think that's a really good question and it's definitely a hard one for
I think anyone who has a very feminine style.
Another question is, how do you stay yourself while embracing it?
Sometimes I feel like I have to fake being girly.
This is such a good question because I really want to talk about.
how it's so good to do what becomes natural.
If you have to literally feel like you have to fake being feminine,
then being feminine does not come natural to you.
And that is okay.
You don't need to act girly girl.
You don't have to love pink bows and heels and everything.
You can like what you like.
And honestly, being your own advocate and standing behind your beliefs
is divine feminine energy,
even if you don't love pink or love typical girly things.
So I hope you guys enjoy this episode.
and give you some ideas how to embrace your feminine energy as well as standing behind your beliefs
and being a strong independent woman.
And I really had fun answering your guys's questions.
And I definitely want to talk about this topic again one day soon.
I really hope you guys enjoyed this episode.

I love you dolls so much and I will see you next week.
