Hello, my love. I cannot believe we are here right now. Months later, since I've talked to you,
it has been a journey. If you know, my episodes I recorded months ago, I was talking about my
medical stuff that was going on and all of a sudden it went just downhill really quick and I just
had to make the decision to stop recording for the time being. Don't worry. I was not going to
disappear forever just for the time being just to recover and rest. But I am still
not fully back to normal yet and feeling the best yet, but I am feeling much better than I did.
And I just wanted to come in here and just talk to you and say hi.
I am beyond grateful for all the kind messages that have been sent just checking up on me.
And there's just been so much.
I am sure that I missed on your life and you missed on mine.
But if you've been following over my socials, you've probably seen kind of what's been going
on with my medical stuff.
Anyways, long story short, I'm here today just to check in and say,
say hello. While I'm not getting it fully back to the podcast yet, I will be very soon,
but not yet. I am just going to be having just the next few episodes being a recap episodes
of ones I have put out in the previous dates that maybe you missed and ones I personally
really love. These are all things that I stand by and I think are so important to cover.
So anyways, I hope you enjoy today's episode and I'm going to continue probably checking
up in the like intro parts of each episode for the recaps but we will be back to schedule
very soon once I'm feeling much better but in the meantime I hope you're doing amazing
feel free to connect with me over Instagram or TikTok so we can still chat with each other
and I hope you enjoy this episode and have the most busy yet pretty day this episode is
literally the perfect episode for anybody who loves fall loves morning routines or is looking to
improve their morning routine and feel more of the fall season. Let's get straight to the
weekly review. This week I have been really prioritized feeling better. I've been home all
week in San Diego and I'm so excited just to get back on track but I really have been trying
to take it slow as you know my health has been up and down but I'm feeling good and really
ready to get back and better than ever. Another thing this week on the weekly recap is I went to
Julian. It's a cute small town in California, which is about like an hour away from San Diego.
Let me tell you, it is so cute. They're known for their like famous pies, but it really just
made me feel like fall and the leaves were orange. It was just so beautiful. This year,
I'm really trying to make the conscious effort to be present in the seasons and really embrace
the seasons because fall and winter only come once. And I really do want to feel all the
exciting holiday spirit that is in the air. Another thing this week is I've been really trying to get
fresh air, getting outside and really trying to touch base with nature. And lastly, I have just been
enjoying my time with the family. As I've been home, it's been so nice to visit with my family and
just feel a big hug from everybody. But I'm ready to get back on track, which I'm very excited to
this week. Next up is an affirmation. I go to bed with people.
and happiness every night. I love that affirmation so much and I really recommend affirming that to
yourself. Next up is a self-love question. Do you allow time to rest and recharge after school or work
and your overall day? I love that question so much because it really reminds us to be present and
allow us to rest and recharge after having a day of work, school, or just having any task that you've done.
It is finally now time to talk about today's episode.
Today we're going to talk about how to create a flawless fall morning routine, a perfect morning routine for the fall that suits you and not only keeps you happy and motivated, but really prioritizes self-care and being present in the holiday season.
There is nothing that I love more than routines and having a full organized day.
And with fall officially here, I can't believe it's now October, it's crazy, but with fall officially here, I'm just so ready to switch to a new rule.
routine. Maybe you had an outgoing summer going to parties, going out. Fall is really the perfect
reminder to begin to slow down. Maybe it's time you ditch the late night parties, the late
night activities, and stay in, get in bed early, and really cater to your own needs. It's time for
you to create a fall morning routine that truly excites you, not anyone else, doesn't copy anyone
else. This is for you and what fits your schedule, life, and needs. As I always say,
say your morning routine begins with your nighttime routine. However you choose to spend your night
and go about your night will reflect how your morning routine is going to go. A good night's rest
will literally change your life and I'm not just saying this. I promise you a good night's rest
is going to shape your day up for the most success and happiness. Being on your phone and scrolling
on TikTok for hours at one in the morning is a temporary happiness. Okay. temporary.
And how is that temporary?
It's because when you wake up, you're going to feel awful in the morning.
You're going to feel gross from scrolling on your phone so much.
You're not going to feel good.
You're going to feel tired.
You didn't get enough sleep.
So it's time to prioritize your night routine when you want to actually improve your morning routine.
When you wake up in the morning, do not reach for your phone.
Okay?
I'm guilty of this.
We all are.
There is not one day.
I literally don't reach for my phone.
But something that I've been trying to do is if you go on your phone and it's
natural for everyone to want to check their phone. Take one second looking at your phone if you want
to scroll to make sure there's no emergency messages, then put it down and spend at least 15 minutes
without your phone first thing in the morning. Preferably more, but spend at least 15 minutes without
your phone right when you wake up. That can allow you to wake up your mind, body, and soul without
a electronic device and actually soaking in the real world. Along with that, I want you to think of
10 things that you're grateful for right when you wake up.
This fall is all about being mindful and abundance,
and that comes with affirmations and incorporating gratitude.
Think of 10 things that you're grateful for.
That could be waking up.
The birds chirping, being healthy, being grateful for your job,
and I promise you that will dramatically improve your morning.
Now, if you have a 5-minute journal,
that is one of the most essential things to have in your morning routine,
and you can go buy one off of Amazon.
I have it in my store for.
front, but maybe you don't want to go spend money on a journal that is okay.
Grab a pen and paper and you can write out the exact same journal prompts that it has in the five
minute journal.
But I truly recommend you get a five minute journal.
It is life changing.
And for me, it just really sets my morning up for a positive day.
When I think of fall, I think of slowing down and listening to your needs.
In the spring and summer, I'm really go, go, go.
And so am I in the fall and winter.
but it's really good to kind of go a bit slower because again this is the holiday season it's time to enjoy the fun festives
and not get so wrapped into trying to get so much done and then forgetting about what's right in front of you
as much as i love hustle culture and the hustling mornings like with the cold shower waking up at 5 a.m
intense workout i know my mind body and soul is not wanting that right now it's wanting of course motivation and to feel good
accomplishing stuff, but more of slowing down and getting things done on a slower pace.
Remember, slow does not mean that you're not going to get things done, okay?
Slow wins the race.
So do not think if you slow down and take more time for yourself that you're not going to get as much done.
Because that is untrue and I promise you will achieve so much more when you actually slow down and care for yourself.
But in the fall and winter, the weather gets gloomier and things are feeling slower.
it's time for you to take a breath and have a slow, mindful mornings this fall.
I have been in a fall baking era right now.
With the weather getting gloomier, I just love baking and cooking fall foods,
but I am not very confident in my baking skills.

like the Bakelake a Pro class,

Now before you get your morning started, I really recommend having a little drinky in the morning to wake you up and know I don't mean straight caffeine.
If that works for you, then do so.
Personally, I don't like to have any caffeine.
I really recommend a tea because it's lighter in caffeine or a decaf coffee.
And then sit around before getting ready for the day as you sip on your little tea.
That will allow you to have time not getting straight into things right after waking up.
really align your headspace into a calm state. I think morning movement is extremely important.
That does not mean you need to do a high intensity morning workout every morning, but I think
even something such as a five-minute stretch or having a little walk can improve your morning
drastically. I go back and forth from working out in the morning to working out in the evening,
so it really depends on how I wake up and what I'm feeling. I'll work out a few times a week and do some Pilates.
But regardless if I plan on working out or not that day, I think it's always important to do some bit of morning movement, such as stretching, walking, light yoga, to wake your body up and feel good.
One of the biggest essentials you should be doing this fall in your morning routine is once you get up, instantly make your bed.
It takes a second to make your bed, okay?
It literally is so simple.
Do not let you create a habit to be more simple to not make your bed.
Create the habit to make your bed.
would you rather have one minute making your bed or a full day of thinking that you didn't make your bed in the back of your head that you're procrastinating it?
I much rather do the task, check it off and get it out of my head.
If you say you're going to make your bed later, you're not.
So make it now right when you get up.
Something else that I think is so important when you wake up in the morning.
If you're someone who wakes up with a puffy face or has a hard time actually feeling awake,
is begin ice rolling your face right in the morning.
After you do your skincare, get an ice cube, an ice roller, whatever you have,
but start rubbing it along your face for a few minutes.
And for me, that is the perfect trick to actually wake my body up and not feel tired.
And it really helps me also depuff my face.
I can't be the only one who has this dream item of theirs that they always see,
whether it's a bag, a sweater, a top, and you're like, I just need that,
but it's like sold out everywhere.
That's me with this one vintage Duny and Burke bag.
I literally was looking everywhere for it and I somehow found one on a poshmark.
But not just one.
I found multiple of them at such a good price and I was like, wait, this is just too good to be true.
So if you know me, you know I am a poshmark girl.

slash busy. Next up is a fall breakfast. You need to start making yourself a fun little fall breakfast
for the season that is healthy but also gives the autumn feel. Some ideas that you may like for a
fall healthy breakfast is overnight oats with pumpkin spice and cinnamon powder. So good,
so divine, so healthy. You can also add some protein powder in it. Another thing I love is almond
butter banana toast with pumpkin spice powder on top so good so divine also love apple chicken sausages
with a side of avocado that also gives that fall feeling and lastly i love love love making oatmeal
pumpkin pancakes all you do is blend some oats and then add some pumpkin spice powder some eggs
and you got yourself some gluten-free pumpkin pancakes to give that seasonal fall feeling
I also love having a little drink with my breakfast if I didn't already have it that morning,
whether that is having my pumpkin oats with a latte or a chile latte, a macha, so warming and
cozy feeling, I love it.
Next up for your morning to give that fall feeling is light a candle to fill your space up
with that cozy autumn feel.
I think that is an essential to have some good scent going on in your place.
I also love fall essential oil combos.
that also can really help smell like fall.
I also saw some cinnamon broomsticks.
If there's a Trader Joe's by you, get them.
I'm going to get some soon because they smell exactly like what I would think of the word fall.
If you like staying cozy in the morning, get out of your pajamas, okay?
Ditch the pajamas and change into some comfy loungeware.
This is if you don't have to get up and go to work,
but if you are going to spend your day at home,
I really recommend getting some comfy loungeware.
so that still makes you feel like you got ready in the morning, but you're out of your pajamas and still comfy.
I love nothing more than lounge wear paired with ugs or slippers.
Chef's Kiss combo.
As I said, fall and winter are the months to slow down and care for yourself, which is where prioritizing and listening to your mind, body, soul, and needs should be your top priority.
If you need a mental health day, take one.
The world will not end.
The world is not going to end by you skipping out on one party, on one class, or one day of work, okay?
Take that day to rest.
And let's say everyone else is partying and going out and maybe you skip out on some parties and some night out because maybe you're a little tired and wanting to slow down.
That should not ever cause you FOMO.
We do not know what FOMO is.
That is not a word in my vocabulary, okay?
You know what is in your vocabulary?
Jomo.
joy of missing out.
Stop feeling guilty for staying in.
Stop feeling guilty for caring for yourself.
This life is yours.
Nobody else.
And of course, do not feel guilty if you don't complete all of your tasks.
When you wake up in the morning and write out your to-do list,
stop writing 15 tasks to do in the morning.
Write out the top three things you want to get done that day,
and then you can write down additional tasks that you can do if you have extra time.
But take one thing at a time in the morning,
and what you achieve in your day is enough, okay?
You are enough.
Everything you do is enough.
Do not feel like you are not doing enough because you are enough.
This fall, it's time for slow, cozy, and heartwarming mornings.
I love you guys so much and I really hope you enjoyed this episode as much as I did.
