Hello, my dolls. Welcome back to the busy yet pretty podcast. I'm your host, Jaden Haley. I hope you all have been doing lovely as always and I missed you guys. So first off, about two weeks ago, I got sick. And then I had an ear infection. And then right before I was going to leave for Fashion Week, I got a double ear infection. So I was not able to fly on a plane to New York and had to cancel my entire trip. I was seriously so devastated.
But honestly, everything works out as it should.
But it was truly such a bummer because I was so excited to go.
I had so many fun shows, events, and friends to meet up with.
It's okay next year for sure.
And other than that, I really had bad PMS.
I feel like I am going through like PMDD, which is basically PMS on steroids.
And that has been quite a struggle for me lately.
So I definitely am trying to manage that and really understand my body and trying to figure out what's going on because I haven't been feeling my greatest and I think it's very important to be in tune with how I'm feeling.
So I definitely need to get my hormones tested ASAP and figure out some good plans for me to manage my PMS better.
Other than that, let's get into really the weekly review.
So I went to the Victoria's Secret for Love and Lemons event, which was absolutely insane.
As you guys know, I am the biggest Victoria's Secret fan.
I love Victoria's Secret.
And they had an event, and I was able to go to their Victoria's Secret for Love and Lemons
Fall 22 Collection event, which was absolutely stunning.
I was in shock.
The pieces of this collection is gorgeous.
I have my pieces that I got linked over my modem and you guys can see them there but oh my gosh
you guys will literally love them.
They're is Ilet, they're pink, they're literally a dream.
Another weekly review is I have been simplifying my room and my space.
I think it's so important for me to right now have a more simple space not only because I'm
moving soon and I do need to get rid of things but also because I feel like having a simple
space can really just help you feel less stressed and just more organized. And I definitely have
grown out of some styles the past few years. So I definitely want to incorporate more of my current
style into my room and my style now. Lastly, this week I went fall decor shopping, which is so fun.
I am a girl who loves the holidays clearly and I feel like it's so important for me to take part in
at fall shopping every year. So I went to home goods and I picked up the best smelling. Pumpkin
spice candle that I'm absolutely obsessed with. That candle is currently lit while I'm recording this
episode and I'm very excited to find more fall decor soon. Moving on to my current obsessions.
We all know. My current obsession is macha, but literally I am so obsessed with macha.
Adding some honey regave with oat milk. The perfect.
pair. Another current obsession is fall. As I said, I am so obsessed with fall right now, but I am
truly so obsessed. Like this year, what is up with me? I think I just have been missing the holidays,
even though I love the summer. I feel like I'm the only person who's like not a total summer
girl. I love the summer, but the holidays are just so nice and comforting to me. Okay,
another current obsession is being sporadic and not having everything completely to schedule.
I feel like I typically schedule everything out, even time block things, which is great.
But I think it's sometimes nice to also have times where it's sporadic and not so planned out.
So that's something I've been loving.
Another current obsession is doing my makeup.
I feel like I haven't done my makeup too often these past months.
But oh my gosh, I've been doing it for the past week every single day.
And it's made me so happy.
Like, I truly forgot my love for makeup until I've been doing it this week.
It's so fun to just try new things and I just love it.
Lastly, my current obsession is neutral outfits.
I love myself some neutral outfits.
Of course, I am a colorful girl, but I feel like towards the winter, or towards the fall and winter,
I really do love neutral outfits and pairing it with a little cute black kitten heel.
It's literally my favorite.
And I feel like I'm just loving this style right now.
So my goal of the week is to work out more. I worked out for the first time in literally months
yesterday and it honestly made me feel so much better because when I'm experiencing these PMS
symptoms, working out is definitely something that really helps me. So I want to start working
out more and prioritizing that. Another goal of the week is to revamp and get out in my slump
since getting over being sick, having an air infection, and currently experience.
experiencing PMS slash PMDD and I'm just ready to get out of the slump and start up with a new routine,
new schedule and just have a little revamp. I got my nails done today and that was a step. They
look really good. I'm happy. Okay, next step is to go through stuff in my room. Like I said, I want to
kind of simplify my room and have a more cleaner space. So definitely getting rid of things is something
that I want to do and just have a more simple, neat space.
Lastly, is to prioritize my night routine.
Your morning is the outcome to your night routine, and it's so important to have a really,
really good night routine because that all results in the morning.
As an example, if you're going to bed at 3 a.m., you're going to have a not-so-good morning
routine because you went to bed so late.
So I definitely want to go to bed early, it gets a nice sleep, not have so much blue light right before
bed and just relax, have some tea before I go to bed so my morning routine can be ready for the day.
Next step is a self-love question to ask yourself. So a self-of-question to ask yourself is,
is there anything I've been beating myself up about what does having empathy for myself look like
in this situation? I love that question so much and I really recommend pausing this episode and
journal that question. A quote from my five-minute journal, your actions reveal not
what you want, but what you chose. I seriously love that quote so much because it's so true.
Even if you want something, your actions all show from what you choose to do.
Next up is this Apple podcast review, which is from Jazz, and her title to the podcast review is
the literal best podcast ever. Thank you so much, Jazz. That is so sweet, and let's get into her
review. Jazz said, I love this podcast so much. It makes me live my girly girl dreams.
and I feel so happy when listening to her episodes.
I love to hear her daily affirmations in the quotes.
I love hearing about fashion and beauty,
and this is seriously the best podcast ever.
Love you, Jaden.
Thank you so much, Jazz.
That was seriously such a sweet Apple Podcast Review.
I love how you said it makes you feel like you're living out your girly girl dreams
because I really feel like we touch base with our feminine side.
So thank you so much, Jazz.
And if you guys want to be featured in next week's episode,
go leave a review on Apple Podcasts.
Lastly, is our daily affirmation.
The universe constantly is aligned with my goals and my desires.
I love that affirmation so much and I really recommend journaling that affirmation.
Let's get into today's episode.
So today's episode is on a Fall and Spo Guide,
and we're going to get into mindset, style, routine, fall desserts, and more.
I'm just really excited because I'm just really excited because I,
I love fall so much, and I'm like, why not make a fall inspo guide for you guys?
Okay, my dolls, let's get into a fall inspo routine.
I'm not going to lie, I've been kind of out of routine, as you guys know, but you know what,
when I record these episodes, but sometimes I'm not completely on track,
and these episodes are for both you listeners and I take this advice.
So, you know, it's a journey for all of us, and I'm so happy that we're all on our wellness
journey together. I've received DMs saying how people wish they had such a put-together life as I do.
And I just want you guys to know, like, I get off routine sometimes. I am not perfect. And we're all
on our own individual personal wellness journey. We're all at different stages. And I'm going to do
all that I can to share what has helped me with you guys. But I just want to let you guys know that
it's normal for you guys not to be completely on routine all the time. Things happen. Routines get
thrown off and all that matters is that you're happy at the end of the day. So I just had to say that
before we actually get into the episode. Now without further ado, let's talk about some fall routine
inspo. So here is some inspiration that I think would be really good for a fall routine and you can
incorporate this step by step or whatever you think would work best for you. Number one, I would say,
is wake up early. I was waking up around 5.30 every day in the summer. But honestly,
that is great for the summer, but for the fall, I really want to wake up around 6 o'clock or 6.30
a little later, which is not late, but a little more past my usual because I feel like sleep is
so, so good and I really need to prioritize that. Another thing is, is starting your morning
off with a warm cup of tea or bone broth. I've started drinking bone broth every single morning
and it's honestly so, so nice. It's really, really good for your tummy health, aka,
gut health, and I just really recommend it. And I know it sounds kind of gross, like bone broth,
chicken broth, kind of like that in the morning. But I promise having bone broth in the morning
tastes like a cup of tea. I promise you, it does not taste gross. Maybe that's my opinion,
but I really like it. Or even starting your morning off with a warm cup of tea is so, so nice as well.
Something else that I really want to do, a part of my fall routine, is more yoga. Yoga is just so nice
and relaxing and I feel like summer I love to be hustle hustle hustle but I feel like more towards
fall and winter I like to slow things down a bit so I definitely want to start incorporating yoga
and more relaxing techniques like meditation into my routine yoga is great in the morning because
you're just waking up and it's nice not to get straight into a hardcore workout or going straight to
work and just kind of relaxing your mind but I also really love yoga at night because I feel like I can
wind down and be ready just to go to sleep.
Something that is so essential for a fall routine and all routines in general, but have a
nutritious breakfast.
That means a protein, a fat, a carb, all of that is so good for you.
And I feel like breakfast is one of the most important meals of the day.
So I really think that it's so good to have full, nice, healthy meals every single day.
Another thing that I think is really good to incorporate in your fall routine is to do a five-minute journal or just journal.
Prioritizing gratitude to me is so important and it really just starts your mind really well off to a positive start.
I have them linked over my Amazon storefront and I really do recommend them.
Another thing to add to your routine this fall is to get a nice pumpkin candle or a fall candle.
Every morning I light my pumpkin candle the moment I wake up.
up and it really just makes my room smell like fall and I just love it. It just brings that nice
festive fall feeling into the air. Okay, another thing is to do simple task in the morning.
And what I mean by that is make your bed right away, tidy up. Don't put it off where you're
going to be like, I'll just do it once I get home or I'll do it after school or I'll do it after
work. All of that just builds up and you know what? When you get home from school that late,
most likely not going to make your bed. So just do it really quick, really fast, and then it'll make
you feel just complete and it won't feel like it's bugging you in the back of your head that you
have to get that done. Something else I really would recommend adding to your fall routine is
putting on some calm music. I love to listen to some jazz music or some just fall playlist.
I feel like it really gets me in a happy mood for the day and it's just relaxing. You know what?
I'm going to put together a fall calm morning playlist.
I'll have it on my Spotify.
If you guys search up Jade and Haley, you'll see my Spotify there.
So I will definitely make a little playlist for you guys.
Something that I think is so important to do is when you wake up,
avoid going on your phone right away or having blue light.
I'm definitely guilty of that, though,
and I do go on Instagram the moment I wake up,
but you know what?
I really do want to this fall want to just stay off my phone
for about 30 minutes to an hour, do some yoga throughout that time, and then look at my phone
because it really can make you more stressed out. Something that would be really good to incorporate
in your fall routine is to start reading. I really do want to start reading. I am someone who's
very inconsistent about reading. For someone who's very consistent and loves consistency,
reading is not my thing. I always start a book and then I never finish it. And I feel like this
month, I really do just want to pick a book and read it and finish it and just read a little bit
every single night. As much as I love being booked and busy, you know, I'm a busy yet pretty
gal, but I truly do love my downtime and self-care time, which I feel like more people stay in
during fall and winter and more people go out during spring and summer, but to really just use this
time wisely, use it with intention and have this time for yourself. Summer, a lot of people feel
obligated to go out. I love going out in the summer. I love having a good time and I feel like when it gets
a little chillier out, if you live in an area where it does, where actually where I live, it's still
pretty hot all year round, but I do feel like more people stay in a little more during the fall and
winter. So I really want to use this time as downtime and just catching up, revamping, and having
time for self-care. Now, moving on to mindset. So some things that you can incorporate,
this fall for your mindset is focusing on gratitude. Like I said, gratitude is so good to focus on,
especially in the morning when you start your day off because it really just starts your day off on a
positive note. A positive mindset attracts positive things. And of course, a negative mindset attracts
negative things. And let me just say from experiences, that's so true. I promise I see a difference
in my every single day life when I'm positive versus when I'm negative. Another thing that I would
say is for this fall, I promise you, my mindset, it's so weird, but I think of September in October
as fall and then November and December is definitely winter. The moment it's late August, I'm so ready
for fall, fall festives, and then right when it's like in the middle of fall, I'm like, you know what,
it's time for Christmas. I just love the holidays. It makes me so happy. Another thing to really
make sure in your mindset is to not be too hard on yourself. This is something that I really want to
incorporate this month and just honestly altogether, but don't be hard on yourself and take time
slow. You need to use your time with intention and I promise you when you do that and you don't
overwork yourself, you're going to actually accomplish more. And when I say use your time with
intention, I'm meaning self-improvement, self-care, do things that serve you right. Another thing that I think
is really important in incorporating into my mindset this upcoming fall is to be okay with not
perfectly being to schedule. I love planning at my days. I will even time block. But honestly,
I feel like being sporadic and just going with the flow is sometimes even better than being
to schedule. I feel like you can sometimes even experience more by doing that. So I do really want
to try to be okay and not being perfectly to schedule. Another thing that I think is so important for
your mindset this fall is self-love and self-care. Again, prioritize it. This is going to help you so much
and not only help you, you'll be able to help others. When you are happy with yourself and love yourself
and take care for yourself, you will be able to serve others more. I see a difference in wanting to
help others and wanting to be there for others the more that I provide for myself. I always love
example where on the plane they tell you if the plane were to go underwater for the adult to put
their mask on first and then attend to their child and put their mask on. Because once you're
able to attend to yourself, you're able to attend to someone else. Now going into fall style
and spo. You guys are the first to hear this, but I'm thinking about maybe doing a really funny post
on Instagram of a very filtered 2013 Tumblr, faded filter, pumpkin spice latte girl,
posts, like as a joke, when nostalgic things are so cringe, I honestly love it so much. So, you know what,
it will be so camp and I'm going to think it's so funny. Probably it's going to get so many sense
and being like, Jaden, what the heck? Like by heart, I'm a filtered 2013 tumbler gal. I just love
that old aesthetic and just the smoothie girl aesthetic. Take me back. I love those times.
Does anyone remember that app, WeHeart It? I was a WeHeart It. I was a WeHart It.
girl. It was basically like Pinterest, but honestly almost better. I loved we heart it and I don't think
that app exists anymore. But when I was younger, I was on it all the time. Okay, anyways, back to fall
style inspo. So I really want to wear some tall boots this fall and I feel like a lot of people
may disagree with this, but I just love a tall boot. And I think it's very cute. Any tall boot color,
I love neutrals right now. So like a brown boot.
with a cute little tight dress.
Ah, so, so cute.
More fall style inspo being neutrals, knit, off the shoulder.
I'm obsessed with off the shoulder.
I think it's so cute if I had a little knit off the shoulder sweater.
So adorable.
Uggs, although I do wish Ugs were vegan, but Ugg boots are so cute.
Gold jewelry, I'm a gold jewelry girl right now.
I've always been a silver, but lately, gold is my thing.
I also think just like yoga pants are really cute to wear.
I do love a sweat pant, but I honestly do love yoga pants even more.
So I feel like for loungewear, some cute yoga pants.
More full style and spo being Ilet.
I love eyelid material.
Ilet pointele.
They're one of my favorite materials and designs, so I just love that so much.
Body suits, I'm definitely going to be wearing body suits because it doesn't get too cold here.
Black dresses with a cute low-cut,
back. I love trench coats in the fall. I feel like trench coats are so, so cute and a lot of people
either hate them or love them, but I am someone who absolutely loves them. I love tweed material.
I'm going to wear a lot of tweed material sets. And also the number one thing that I'm going to be
wearing this fall is kitten heels. I think kitten heels are one of the cutest shoes ever and just one of
the cutest pieces. I feel like it dresses it up and it has so much personality to that shoe.
so I really do want to wear some kitten heels this fall.
Next step is some fall food and baking inspo.
So I love baking as a lot of you guys know if you follow me on Instagram, but I am more in the baking mood during the colder season.
So fall and winter, I love to bake.
Summer, I feel like I bake the least amount.
So I'm ready to get back on my baking and I'm very excited.
But some things to try baking this summer is,
I love myself a pumpkin or apple pie.
Those are the superior pies.
Don't even try to argue me on it.
Those are the best.
So I want to try making those.
Another one is pumpkin scones.
Pumpkin scones sounds so, so good.
I am a pumpkin spice girl.
I have no shame.
I literally love it.
And scones are also one of my favorites.
So pumpkin scones would be delightful.
I've literally been adding pumpkin spice seasoning
to like everything. I think it's so good. Add it to your yogurt. I add it to the sweet foam at Starbucks. Add
it to everything. It's literally so good. Something that I really love to do during the colder nights is
air fry a banana and decorate it with a ton of toppings. So what I do is I cut the banana in half and I air fry it
for about 10 minutes at 425 degrees and then afterwards I add walnuts to it, coconut, nut butter,
chia seeds, flax seeds, honestly everything. I just think it's so, so good.
Another thing that I really recommend making this fall is matcha with frothed almond milk or
whatever milk that you choose and add pumpkin spice to the froth milk.
When you add the pumpkin spice to the froth, it is so, so good.
I love it and you can also add like maple syrup. It's literally the best.
Another good fall of food inspo is apples with cinnamon.
That's one of my favorites.
Banana pumpkin bread would be really good to make.
Pumpkin oat muffins.
I made them the other day, and they were so, so lovely.
Something I'm determined to bake this fall is gluten-free pumpkin cinnamon rolls.
They sound so amazing.
I have been thinking about them so much this past week,
but I couldn't find any gluten-free cinnamon roll dough,
so I need to make some myself, but it just sounds so, so good.
Okay, next step is some fall festive ideas to do this fall. One thing I would say is apple picking. I think apple picking would be so fun. I've never done it and I definitely want to this year. And of course, going to the pumpkin patch. That's a must every single year, of course. As I said before in the routine section, but just adding some jazz music, fall music or even like study music is really nice, calm and is just relaxing, ready for the rest.
the fall. This year, I really want to do a fall baking sleepover. I feel like that would be so fun,
so I'm going to invite some friends over, find some recipes that you and your friends can make,
have them over, and bake some healthy fall desserts. Of course, watch some fall movies. I am one
who loves, loves fall movies and Halloween movies. Halloween Town is the best Halloween movie.
Also, the square pumpkin movie. I forgot what it's called. Spookily.
spookily the square pumpkin. That's also a really good movie. Another thing is travel. I am not sure if
I'm going to be traveling this fall, but I really do want to, and I'm so tempted to go to Vermont
during the fall and get a little Airbnb. I feel like that would just be so nice because I've never
gone anywhere during the fall, except for like Hawaii, which I love Hawaii so much. But like,
I really want to go somewhere that has fall leaves and just feel.
really like fall there. And I feel like Vermont would be one of the perfect places to go.
Lastly, something else that it could be really fun to do this fall is start a series to find your
best pumpkin spice latte. If you know me, I am very picky with my pumpkin spice lattes and I do
not like the Starbucks one this year. But I would say go to different cafes. Try new pumpkin
spice lattes. I've been doing it myself. I have my little tally marks on my head of
the places that I like and don't like.
But I feel like that would be another really fun fall thing to do.
That wraps up some of my fall inspo ideas for lifestyle.
I feel like in the spring and summer, we are very active and it's fun to go out all the
time, be booked and busy.
But I think I want to take it slower and just have time to prioritize self-care, but even
saying no to things that, you know what, this kind of sounds fun, but I really rather
stay home and do some self-care for myself. It's so good to have a healthy balance in your life,
especially during times where you feel like you need it the most. So even freeing up your schedule
and doing what aligns to you is perfect. I am so so proud of you guys and you guys mean the
world to me. I receive these amazing messages how the podcast has helped you. It truly, truly
makes me so happy. Also, I do answer every single reply and I'm so sorry if it takes a month or
two. I do the replies once a month, so I definitely will get to reading yours, and I'm just so
thankful for you guys. You guys make me so, so happy, but you know what? It's almost fall, and I want to
see what you guys are going to be doing this fall. So please, please, tag me in your fall activities
and tag me in any fall TikToks that you make. I want to see them and how you guys have your
busy yet pretty fall. Anyways, thank you guys.
so so much for listening. I appreciate it so much. Please feel free to rate over Spotify. It really
does help the podcast so so much. And also review over Apple Podcasts if you want to be featured
on next week's episode. I love you, dolls so much and don't forget to tag me in your fall
busy at pretty days. I love you so so much and I'll talk to you guys soon.
