Hello, my dolls. Welcome back to the Busy Yet Pretty Podcast. I'm your host, Jane Haley. I'm very excited for today's episode for a little boost of motivation. This episode is perfect for anyone who just needs a reminder that you can achieve your goals and you can achieve them now. And it's honestly just the perfect boost of motivation for the rest of this year. Without further ado, let's get into today's weekly review. This week, I've been really trying to prioritize relaxing.
and just enjoying downtime.
And it's honestly been so helpful
and has made me so much more motivated
when I incorporate that balance into my life.
Another thing this week is I've been trying out new skin care.
As you guys know, recently I was diagnosed with PCOS,
and my skin has just been breaking out a lot this past year.
So I'm currently trying to try out a few different products
to see what actually works for my skin.
And so far, it's going pretty well,
so I'm really excited to kind of clear my skin up
and prevent any breakouts from occurring.
Another thing this week is I deep cleaned my bathroom,
and let me just tell you, it felt so good.
I needed it so bad,
and it just feels so nice to have a fresh, new, clean space with less things.
I just feel so much more organized.
Lastly, I have just been praying for some fall leather.
It has quite literally been 90 degrees the past few days
as I'm wearing a trench coat,
because I want to feel like fall,
but it's really hard to when it is so,
so hot outside. Currently praying for a fall that actually feels like fall. Moving on to the
current obsession. My current obsession right now is cluttery salads. And when I say cluttery, I mean
lots of things in the bowl, love a party in the bowl. A jam-packed salad is just my ideal
meal. I love it with everything in it. I truly am someone who just loves all fruits and vegetables.
so I just love a nice hearty salad.
Another crab session right now is Big Brother.
It's a reality show, and I am not someone who watches TV,
but this is the one thing I cave for.
And guys, I always say this and I manifest it into existence,
but watch, I will be on Big Brother.
I know I will be.
It's the one show that I actually want to be on.
In the past, I've been reached out for Temptation Island, F-Boy Island,
and I think Love Island,
and all of them I said no to.
because those are just not a show that I want to be on,
but this is the one show I want to be on.
It's called Big Brother, and they have live feeds that you can watch the house guest 24-7,
and I just love the show.
I have been loving it for years,
but it's been my favorite thing to watch every night before bed
and having the live feeds on during the day.
Another current obsession this fall is my loomy deodorant.
I've gone through so many types of deodorants,
and let me just say this has been my favorite one of all time.
Let's face it, summer is not the only time that we're sweating.
And I'm someone who gets the cold sweats also.
So in the fall and winter, I'm always using deodorants still.
I love Loomi because I'm an ingredients girl, so I love how it's aluminum-free, baking soda-free, and paraben-free.
And the best part is, it's a whole-body deodorant.
As a Golden Class girl, I just love feeling fresh, smelling good.
And I want you guys to try Loomie because I know you guys will love it as much as I do.
The Loomie starter pack is perfect for new customers.
It comes with a solid stick deodorant, cream tube deodorant, two free products of your choice,
like a mini body wash and deodorant wipes and free shipping.
As a special offer for the busy yet pretty listeners, new customers get $5 off,
a Loomie starter pack with CodeBusie at Loomiepodcast.com.
That equates to over 40% of your starter pack when you visit Loomipodcast.com and use code busy.
My last current obsession is my new blowdry hairbrush.
I've been using it the past week and it's made my hair look so,
beautiful like I just got a blowout done. It's my absolute favorite. I just love having a salon
perfect hair from home. Moving on to the goal of the week. My goal of the week is to cycle out more
of my summer clothes from my closet and get rid of some and store some and change to all fall
pieces in my closet. I feel like it's nice when you store clothes out for every season. So when the
season ends, you get the other clothes out for the next season. And it's kind of fun because
the clothes that you had put away for the summer will feel new again once the next summer rolls around.
Another goal of the week is to prioritize getting 10,000 steps a day.
When I do 10,000 steps a day, I just feel so awake, motivated, and it just is so good for your health.
I definitely want to get back onto walking 10,000 steps a day.
And lastly, I want to lay by the pool and just soak in the last bit of summer, even though it is already over,
but in California, 90-degree weather means summer.
Moving on two in affirmation. I wake up to beautiful and peaceful mornings every day. I love that affirmation so much. It's so good to affirm that to yourself. Next is a self-love question. Am I prioritizing my mental health as much as my physical health? I love that so much because sometimes we can prioritize working out and getting in our steps, but we forget, are we prioritizing our mental health as much? Because our mental health is just as important as our physical health.
and vice versa.
Moving on to a challenge.
Ask your friend or family member
to go on a hot girl walk with you.
I love that so much because I am guilty of that.
I do that all the time.
I love going on little hot girl walks.
So try doing that with a friend or family member this week.
Now onto the podcast review.
This review is from Emily,
and Emily said,
Jaden, I've listened to so many podcasts,
but none quite like this.
Your podcast is so divine.
and whenever I'm in a slump, your podcast immediately gets me out of it.
I listen to this on my hot girl walks, in the shower, and even when I'm getting ready.
I wait for your podcast to come out every week and by habit, listen to it.
Best and Most Divine Podcasts ever.
XOXO, Emily.
Emily, your review meant so much to me, and I just love how you told me how you listen to the podcast.
I love how you said the show immediately gets you out of your slump,
and I'm so grateful for you and so beyond proud of you.

Without further ado, let's get into today's episode, which I am very excited to talk about.
You guys are going to get a perfect motivation booster to achieve your goals, your task, and everything else by the end of the year,
or at least to get started on your goals and task.
It's time for you to finish the year off strong.
I understand.
You are tired.
you are ready for the holidays, you are ready for the new year, but guess what, babe, you still
have a few months left. And it is time for you to finish the year off strong. With our goals,
every year I feel like we tend to set due dates for our new year resolution goals. And sometimes
throughout the year, a few goals that we may have written down in the beginning of the year may be
pushed back to the bottom of our list or we forget about them. And then towards the end of the year,
you remember those goals and feel like it's too late to complete them or too hard to achieve by the end of the year.
I'm sure you felt this way.
I felt this way.
Your friends have felt this way.
Everyone does it.
But ask yourself,
why are we setting a due day for ourselves on our goals?
When we write down our New Year's resolution list,
why are you saying it must be due by this date, by the end of this year, and if it's not, then I'm giving up my goal?
No.
That's not the mindset we should be having.
That's an all or nothing mindset.
We often think of the end of the year as our due date for our goals that we wrote in the beginning of the year.
But we forget that it's our life and it's our timeline.
There is no specific due date for your goals.
When you wrote your New Year's resolutions for this year, yes, you maybe imagined the goals would be done at the end of the year.
But let's say you didn't accomplish all those goals.
and then those few goals that you didn't do,
you're now just like, well, that's trash,
I can't finish it now, I can't achieve it now,
so I might as well not start.
That will only hold you from your goals being achieved.
I set a goal in January to have my license by the end of the year.
Fast forward to now.
I don't even have my permit yet, okay?
It took me months, and I mean months, to get started.
All year I went without working towards that goal,
just until a few weeks ago, I started sobbing one night, being so sad that I didn't work towards
that goal and yes, I achieved other goals, but that was a goal that I really wanted to achieve,
yet I had no progress of it. At first, I was like, the year's almost over, I might as well just
start next year. But then all of a sudden I was like, why am I having the all or nothing mindset?
Instead of saying, I'll start next year and trashing the rest of the months ahead of me,
why don't I start the progress now?
That doesn't mean I have to finish the goal by the end of this year,
but let's have some progress rather than none.
So at 2 a.m., I'm literally hopping onto the computer,
buying the permit test,
and I begin studying for my permit test.
Fast forward to now.
I am now practicing my permit.
I'm soon taking my permit test,
and instead of me throwing away time
and putting an expiration date to my goal,
I am now so much closer to achieving that goal by deciding to start now rather than start again next year.
You have to stop putting expiration dates to your goals, okay?
Finish the year off strong.
Right now, today, go find your New Year's resolutions list that you made in the beginning of the year
and make a small list of the goals that you haven't achieved yet and pick one goal to begin working on.
you have to remember that a little progress is a million times better than no progress at all.
If you want to achieve your goals in life, you need to realize that it begins with consistency,
not perfection, okay? Consistency is going to help you achieve your goals and become successful.
Still, to this day, I'm guilty of not wanting to begin working towards a goal if I feel like
it's not going to come out perfect or everything lined up is not perfect and everything
needs to be perfect before starting. Let me tell you with that mindset, you will be held back
from everything in life. But this is when you need to just stop and remember, is it worse to be
1% closer to your goals or 0% closer? I would much rather be closer to my goal than 0% because when
January of the new year rolls around, what are you going to write down for your new year's
resolutions. The same goals you didn't finish this year. And that's okay. Like I said, no expiration
date. Plan on achieving that goal for the end of next year. But at least start on your goal this
year. Start now rather than planning on starting the beginning of next year. Pushing things off
will never make you get anything done. You will never be productive and get closer to your goals
if you consistently find an excuse not to start now.
So think of it this way.
Next year in January,
when you're writing your New Year's resolutions goals,
you would be happy if you had at least 1% of progress
in these goals that you're writing down,
not starting fresh.
So if you don't start now,
then you'll be starting with no progress at all.
If you start now,
you'll at least start with one,
at least 1% of progress.
And who knows, you may finish your goal by the end of this year if you just start now.
As you guys know, I have been having a few health problems and me still new to L.A.
I found it really hard to find a doctor.
Babe, let me tell you, it has been a journey, a journey, trying to find a good doctor since I moved to L.A.

I want a dream doctor that works good for me.

slash busy. Stop playing Dr. Roulette and find a doctor that's right for you today. It's easy to look at
our goals and intentions that we wrote down at the beginning of the year and see them as just too much
and too hard to start, which may be why you procrastinated your goals all this year. It is so important
to realize that it's a necessity to break down your goals into steps and take one step at a time.
Do the damn work. Stop with the excuses. Finish off this year strong.
Here's your daily reminder that nobody is going to do the work for you.
Nobody's going to create the lifestyle that you want to live for you.
Nobody's going to create your dream life.
Nobody's going to create the highest version of yourself.
Nobody's going to achieve your goals for you.
So you have to get up and do the work yourself.
While others are trashing the rest of the year and saying,
you know what, I'll just start on my goals again in January.
Guess what you're going to do?
You're going to start now.
and that separates you from the rest.
You're going to get up right now and start at least doing one thing, start on one step for one of your goals.
You're not going to wait until January to start up on your goals.
No, you're going to start now because that's what sets you different from the rest.
You are meant for your dream life.
You are meant to be the highest version of yourself.
You are meant to uplift others.
And the only way you're going to do that is by starting your own blueprint.
Be the blueprint to inspire others.
If you want your dream life, you have to create the blueprint.
And once that blueprint is created, execute the freaking plan.
Stop putting the plan on hold.
You have thousands of hours left in this year.
Imagine if you just put 15 minutes, 15 minutes a day into making progress towards one of your goals.
15 minutes, just set aside each day.
That will add up to hours and hours and hours, yet it was only 15 minutes every day.
but by the end of the year, you completed hours of progress.
Working hard now the rest of the year and not just quitting and throwing the rest of the time away
will set you up for absolute success in the beginning of next year.
As I always say, your morning routine begins with your night routine.
I say the following year begins with the previous year.
What I call that is setting yourself up for a success.
There will never be a perfect or right time to start.
That is an excuse for time to just slip away and for you to procrastinate.
Instead, start now and don't let time slip away.
Take one step out of time and count your achievements, okay, reward yourself.
Do things that make you feel good once you achieve progress.
Every minute you spend mindlessly scrolling,
replace that with time working to better yourself and working to make more progress.
Stop putting your dreams on a pedestal and stop putting your dreams on hold.
You are bigger than your resolution list. You are bigger than any goal, any resolution that you have in your mind.
Nothing is unachievable unless you let it be. If you are thinking something is too hard or thinking something is unattainable,
congratulations, you just made it too hard and unattainable. But if you think this is not too hard, this is in the palm of my hands, this is easy,
let me start now because this works so easy for me. Guess what? You're going to achieve it so much.
much faster and it's going to easily flow into your life. Choose to act on your intentions or don't.
Although when months or years go down the line and you're like, I guess I'll just start now,
you'll have wish that you started yesterday a week ago, a month ago, a year ago. You can either
have a month of progress or a month of letting your dreams slip away. Remember, a little progress
is better than no progress at all. I attached a vision board for you.
