Ice tea. Anything refreshing like ice tea is just perfect for the summer and I personally love to have
iced tea and then add in butterfly pea flour into the ice tea which is like a purple powder
which is really good for your nervous system and it just makes the drink look so pretty and purple
and blue. It's truly gorgeous and another current obsession right now is wearing a bikini top at home.
I'd love to just wear a cute little bikini top with shorts and honestly that is my outfit of the day.
and my last current obsession right now is reading.
Right now I'm currently reading every summer after.
Such a good book, I love it, and it's perfect for the summer.
Now on to my goal of the week.
My goal of the week right now is to film more talking videos.
You guys really seem to like when I do talking videos,
so I definitely want to film more of those.
Another goal of the week right now is to try new matcha recipes,
maybe do a mango matcha, or I've done like a strawberry match,
but maybe try a blueberry matcha.
I just, I'm back in my matcha phase right now, and I'm always in my matcha phase, but I'm back into my not caring about my kidneys because I'm obsessed with macha phase.
So I'm trying to lay off the matcha a tad bit though.
And my last goal of the week right now is to work towards my future goals.
I feel like right now I just really want to work towards my future and there's so many exciting things I want to accomplish.
And there's no better time than the summer to work towards them.
Now on to your affirmation of the week.

I love that affirmation so much because it is very on brand about what we are going to talk about today.

How can you improve the way that you talk to yourself?
I love that question so much because sometimes we talk to herself and don't even realize that we're being rude to ourselves
or not showing us the correct love that we deserve.
So it's really good to think about that and work on improving that.

Learn a new summer recipe that you will be obsessed with and remember that this was the summer that you learned that recipe.
It could be a summer salad, a salmon dish, or a veggie pasta, something that makes you remember this summer and let that be your 2024 summer dish.

and you're going to leave so inspired and excited to enjoy the rest of your summer.
Today we're going to talk about your summer mood board for a golden class girl summer.
from morning routines to motivations to bucket list and more.
So I am really excited because I feel like something that we all want
is just to know what we're up to the summer.
What should we do this summer?
How should we have a good summer?
And I feel like a lot is just based around we thinking that summer means
being so booked and busy and going out and being with friends.
And of course it can be like that.
But it can also be you just enjoying your time at home.
So maybe you're a homebody or maybe you're someone who prefers to be home.
I also have ways to make your summer exciting doing that and just having solo time outside and alone.
Like I said, even though we are about halfway through summer, I promise you, it is never too late to create the best summer yet.
It's so funny because when it comes to summer, we all have the crisis of, do I have a productive, work hard summer?
Or should I have a relaxing and fun summer?
I feel like we often feel inclined to choose a side of should we do a relax summer?
or should we do a productive summer?
But lucky for you is that you do not have to choose
because you can literally have both.
But what you do have to do for the summer
is take action to actually enjoy your summer
and be your own advocate and make those plans.
If you are a newer listener and not sure what golden class girl is,
I made the term golden class girl
to represent the people who know their worth,
know what they deserve,
deserves the best, and will give herself the best.
And when I referenced the term,
golden class girl if you are a boy or if you would however you identify as you are
golden class I am just using the classic golden class girl word but anyways as you
are a golden class girl you are going to not sit around and wish for a better
summer because if you want it you will get up and do it so let's just get into
beginning with morning routines your summer morning routine is going to be the
make or break of how you start your day your day doesn't start in the evening unless
you're waking up at 3 p.m. every day, you need to start your mornings and have structure even in the
summer. And this is your reminder that your morning routine will, of course, vary depending on your
circumstances. If you have kids, if you have a job, or if you have summer school, there are things
that are necessities and requirements that you have to attend to. Your morning may look different
than your friend's morning or my morning. So this is for you to remember that what I'm sharing for
your morning routine is just general ideas that you are welcome to take the inspo that you want
to incorporate into your routine and do what works best for you. That being said, it is time to
create the perfect summer morning routine. Whether you lean towards a productive summer or having
a relaxing summer, or maybe you can't decide, it doesn't matter because you can have both. And that's
the beauty of summer. The beauty of summer is having a more flexible schedule, feeling like you can
try things new and different because you're not on your regular, regular routine.
So this is the time to do trial and error.
But when you wake up in the morning,
you still want to have some sort of a routine that will get you up and get you started
to prevent all your days just meshing into one.
Because if you're just sleeping up until 2 p.m. every single day,
then you wake up, have a really short day.
You get back in bed later in the night,
and then you're just on your phone, TikTok scrolling until 5 in the morning.
That is going to do nothing.
But ruin your days, it's going to make you tired, and there's really no structure there.
And you'll also realize that your days are starting to mesh into one.
And what I mean by that is your days are just going by because you're not able to be up during the day and having a, quote, day.
So when you wake up in the morning, and I'm not saying don't sleep in, take your time, catch up on sleep, do what makes you feel the best.
But when you wake up, make yourself, make breakfast, and don't let it just be a chore.
You want to enjoy these things.
So make your breakfast.
It could be really good banana pancakes with pretty fruit on top
or oatmeal with hemp seeds and your favorite collagen powder in it.
I really recommend that you make your breakfast pretty.
Take some pictures of it for yourself or you can post them, do whatever you want,
but make it fun and enjoy it outside or back on your bed.
What I'm trying to say is a simple thing as eating your breakfast should be turned into something much more.
And that, I promise you, will make you feel so.
happy and just so uplifted and I feel like that is what romanticizing your life really is.
In the morning it's really easy for us to just reach to our phone especially if we don't have
something we have to attend to such as school or work.
So I really, really recommend that you take time in the morning to read for a little before
jumping to your phone or the TV.
So I really think that you should get a book, something new.
If you read fiction books usually buy a self-help book or a self-improvement book.
And if you usually read self-help book, and if you usually read self-help, you usually read self-help
and improvement books by a fiction book. I believe summer is the season of change and summer is going
to be where you can experience new things, try new things out and see what you really like. Also,
if you're getting a fiction book, I really recommend that you get a summer one because it will
just put you in the summer spirit. I have all my favorite summer books and just self-help books
in my Amazon storefront if you need some inspo. And remember, be easy on yourself too. If you went to bed ready to
have a productive day the next day and then you just wake up and you just feel not like having a
productive day, then it is okay. If you woke up and all you wanted to do is chill out and lay in bed
today, that is okay. Do it and honor your needs, especially in the summer. It is okay if you don't
have a ton of plans lined up for the summer or a ton of friends to hang out with or things to do.
And the same goes for trips. I feel like it's so easy to see your friends.
or creators or celebrities, anybody you think of.
It's so easy to look at them and be like, gosh, I wish I was traveling around the world like
everyone else.
And trust me, we all get like that.
I get like that sometimes.
Sometimes I see things that I'm like, gosh, I'd do anything to be traveling right now and I
have no travel plans this summer.
I went to Hawaii really early in the summer, but I'm saying like, I wish I was in Europe.
I wish I was traveling the world right now, but I'm not.
And it's okay if you don't have a ton of time.
things booked. Do not feel bad and stop comparing your plan to somebody else. And when it comes to you
having a more relaxed summer with not as many plans, this is a reminder that the majority of people
don't have something booked every single day. As easy as it looks when you see it on social media
or hearing it from other people, you're hearing the highlights. You're not hearing when people
are laying in bed all day. So remember, don't be hard on yourself if you feel like, gosh, my summer
isn't feeling like the best summer yet because I'm not traveling around the world.
I don't have plans every day with friends and I'm just staying home.
Let me just tell you, you can have the best summer even at home.
But I can't be the only one who has this like dream item of theirs that they always see

Back to our morning routine.
Once you have your breakfast, make yourself a cup of macha, a chai latte,
or an iced tea or an iced coffee as you get up to do your skincare.
Same goes for getting ready doing your makeup and your skincare.
It should not feel a good chore and you should feel excited to get dressed up and feel confident
for the day.
And if you feel tired of your clothes, sell them and buy some new ones.
If you're over your makeup routine, change up your everyday makeup.
This is the season of change and trial and error.
By the time it's fall, you're going to go back to school or back to work.
and ultimately be back on your normal routine.
And now you'll have some new ways to your makeup routine
or new pieces in your closet that makes you feel sexy, confident, and happy
because you took time to trial and error
and discover what you like back in summer.
Trust me, you doing trial and error now
and trying out new things in this summer,
your future self and fall is going to thank you for it.
But if you have extra time this summer,
learn to bake as you listen to a podcast,
you can put on your favorite podcasts or songs.
While you try out a new recipe,
and you can gift this to your friends for your family to try,
trust me, baking is one of the funnest things to do
because one, you're off your phone,
two, your hands on, and three,
it's good and yummy for yourself,
and also you can gift it to somebody else.
Your loved ones, your friends,
it can feel so nice to receive a delivery of some cupcakes
or some bread from a friend, so trust me, they will love you for that.
Or if you're just going to do it for yourself, your taste buds will love you for that.
If you're someone really wanting to dial in this summer and improve yourself this summer,
this is your calling that it is time for you to do that.
Use this time you have in the summer wisely because you're going to be so happy you did.

get your fitness journey started. There is no excuses because it's as simple as searching up videos
that you can do from home even. The recent episode I put out is all about fitness and starting your
fitness journey so you can take a listen to that if you need some motivation for movement in your
fitness journey. But it's also time you develop healthier habits this summer. Maybe for you that is
this is the month in the summer that you finally learn how to pick up after yourself and stay organized.
That could be you trying to care for yourself more and put more time into self-care.
That could be you learning new hobbies and cooking more often.
Romanticize your summer mornings.
You'll always want what you can't have, and that goes for everyone.
You always want what you don't have and you're not unable to have.
And if you have less or a different lifestyle than what you have now,
you would still wish to have something about your lifestyle.
So what you currently have, be grateful for and utilize.
it's you know when someone compliments something from you and you're like what like you think that's cute or
you like that for instance maybe you had this little statue figure in your room and your friend complimented it
when she came over to you you've seen that so many times it just blends in and you don't even realize
how cute it is anymore but for someone else it's new and interesting so of course you're used to what you
have right now you're used to what you're seeing you're used to how you have your routine
But when you change things up and you see, wait, I have this cute room or I can make this even better, that allows new and exciting things to happen because we're used to what we have, but we don't realize there's so much beauty to it.
This is also your time to manifest your future and work towards achieving your goals.
Host a vision board party for you and the girls to get realigned with your goals or even make a vision board party for just yourself.
You can try journaling as well.
I know it's cliche, but it is a technique to both manifest and sort through your emotions, which can be very, very helpful.
Every day, take time for just even a few minutes to go outside and enjoy nature.
You need to stop being trapped inside all day long.
It's easy to just want to stay in and not have to take the action to go outside.
But do things to get some sunlight, go outside, and get fresh air.
Nature is beautiful and we want to connect with that.
And again, do not be ashamed to do things alone.
You need to be proud of yourself and take yourself to the movies.
Go take yourself to the beach and go paint on the sand and journal.
Take yourself swimming in the pool alone.
This is your life.
You have to stop waiting for other people and stop waiting for plans to come to you and start making the plans.
This summer, eat fruits and refreshing food to stay hydrated and eating fruit and iced tea and all
refreshing things can really put you in that summer mood. And if you just want some quick bucket list
ideas for this summer, I have it for you. All very random things, but these are things that you can do
with your friends, your family, or even alone. One being go to the flea market or go to the farmer's
market. It's really fun to get out. It's a little nice outing and it gets you talking to people. It
gets you saying new things and trying things out. Another thing is go and have a beach picnic.
There is nothing sweeter than a beach picnic.
I did it with my mom the other day, and let me just say,
it was so relaxing, so fun, and exactly what we needed.

Another thing that you can do this summer, which can be very, very helpful, is fully reorganize and redecorate your room.
Go on Amazon and buy inexpensive room decor if you don't have a lot of money.
Or you can go thrifting, or maybe if you have some extra money to spend, go shopping,
and walk around and find some cute room decor.
Your space should feel like your sanctuary and your happy place.
And if it feels unhappy, you don't like being in it,
then this is your time to change that.
Again, we're changing and improving things now in the summer
to be all set up for our year ahead.
I honestly feel like the summertime is the beginning of the year
because it's our time where we get to try new things out.
Of course, we do that in the very beginning of the year
where it feels like, you know, New Year's and it's a new year.
year to get started. But honestly, summer is that extra time where you can get started on new things.
Another thing you can do the summer is volunteer somewhere. That could be a beach cleanup, a church
camp, or helping the homeless. Something that I'm going to start doing is gardening. If you guys
haven't tried gardening, you need to do it. But I don't have an area or a home to actually
garden things into like a big bed of soil and everything. But I'm going to get a little window garden,
which is where you can plant like a mini mint and basil and cute little herbs that can grow in little planters inside your house and it gets the sun in from the window.
But I'm going to do that and I really recommend you guys trying to garden as well.
Okay, another thing that we should all do collectively is start scrapbooking.
And no, not in the way of buying big printout photos and scrapbooking.
If that's your thing, then do it as well.
But I'm talking about junk journaling.
If you have a hair band that you wore at a concert that you had such a fun time at,
put that hair band, tape it inside the little junk journal, and write about it,
and paste the concert tickets next to it.
And then on the next page, if you go to the farmer's market,
maybe smush a blueberry into the page and put little things that are going to highlight your days
that you had fun and want those memories from.
So try doing that, and I'm going to do it as well.
Another thing on your bucket list is start a puzzle,
and I know it sounds boring, but it can actually be so fun to start a puzzle and doing it with
the friends, doing it alone.
But I really recommend you do it and it's challenging and it's fun.
Something that I personally love to do is cafe hop.
In the summer, start cafe or restaurant hopping and you can try new places and make a little
ratings list for yourself to see which place you like the most and give it like one star to five stars
and maybe make a little TikTok series out of it.

start thrifting and selling things out of your closet. Go sell things that you don't need anymore.

by doing all those rest of the days,
exciting things and fun things that you planned.
Don't waste time that you could be creating memories
with yourself and with others. You will only have this summer once for the age you are now. So make it
count and make it memorable. My love, you still have time. So go make this the best summer yet and get up
