Hello, my love. Welcome back to the Busy Yet Pretty Podcast. I'm your host, Jaden Haley. If you are new here, we talk all about how to become the best version of you, self-love, self-care, routines, and ultimately becoming the best version of you. Wow, that was a run-on sentence. My kindergarten teacher would have said said, but I think it covered perfectly what the show is about. Anyways, thank you so much for being here. And I'm so excited for today's episode. Today we're going to talk about the perfect. gifts and wish list to get for any person in your life or if you need good gift ideas for yourself your parents are asking you what do you want for christmas and you have no clue i got you because that is what i am here for these are just the perfect gift ideas whether you have a budget or not a big budget right now and it just is perfect to gift to anyone and remember the best gift to give to somebody is being present and being loving and caring and supporting them. But if we're being real and talking about gifts and Christmas and the holidays and you want to give a gift or you want to ask for something, this is the perfect episode for you. Anyways, for a little weekly recap first, I have just been loving getting motivated for the new year.

I know I'm kind of early for this because we talk about this after the holidays, but I am really excited for the new year and what it's to bring. I know the new year can be intimidating, which is why it's. It's so important to focus on the real purpose of life and to remember to enjoy, slow down, and find what you really love. There's so much that we don't know about ourselves and we need to take time this year to kind of figure out what, who are we? Like, what do we love? What do we hate?

And you may think you know, but you really don't because we haven't experienced that much yet in life and it's time to go experience. And I know I'm kind of on a little tangent right now, but I think it is important that we think about the new year and what we want to do and not necessarily make goals to just achieve as much as we can, but to make goals for our personal life to find that self-discovery and find what we really want in life. Another thing that I've been loving is just going out in nature. That's something I'm really trying to prioritize. Like, I would love to start hiking and love to start being out more. I just don't go outside

that much. One, because I get worn out kind of easily right now with my health. stuff, but also just because I really need to go out more for, I just love nature. And I think it's a great way to touch base to slow down and to come away from work. So it's important you try to find and think what that is for you. Anyways, without further ado, let's get into today's episode. We are going to be getting into the perfect wish list and gift guide. So let's get into it. I feel like sometimes we just need some ideas on what to add to our wish list and ideas to give for our family, our friends, and our loved ones, and it's important to have those little ideas stocked up. And of course, remember that the best gift is just being in company with each

other and, you know, the holidays is not about the gifts, but it is the gift giving season. So it's nice to have some ideas on what you can ask for and what you can most importantly give to others. I love nothing more than to hear what other people are asking for for Christmas in the holidays, as well as what people are giving and gifting their loved ones. So this episode has been highly requested and I thought, why not gather on my personal wishless things I'm asking for myself along with the best gift ideas and of course, affordable gift ideas as much as we wish we could give every single person in our life a Chanel bag, but, you know, one day.

But let's not waste any time and get straight into ideas that you can add to your own wish list. Starting off, this is not a specific item I'm naming, but you know that item that you've had in your cart before and then you just never pulled the trigger on it or just an item that you've been thinking about all year how you want it, but you're just unsure about it. This is your time to ask for it now for Christmas because, you know, it's nice when you get something that you've been actually wanting for a while. You just have been too scared to pull the trigger on it. But then you get it for Christmas, then you finally have it and it becomes your favorite item. I feel like that's happened to so many of us and just get that thing out of your cart and ask for it for Christmas. An item that I am so obsessed with right now and honestly would do anything for one but they sold out again is the Hillhouse robe monogrammed.

So cute. I'm obsessed with it. It's like a little floral print and it really just gives that Jerf Avenue look. But why is everything monogrammed so much cuter? truly. Another thing that you can ask for is a good PJ set. There's so many cute PJ sets over Victoria's Secret. Hill House. I was getting a lot of questions where I had one. It's from Everjay. It's really cute. I love T.J. Max for pajama sets in Amazon. There's so many places where you can ask for some that have such cute prints. So I really recommend getting a new PJ set

for the new year. Another great idea of something you can ask for, which is something I am asking for it this Christmas is a sourdough starter kit. There is nothing better than picking up a new hobby in the new year and starting off with a sourdough starter kit is perfect because it's going to allow you to how to figure out how to start making sourdough and who knows this may be your new favorite hobby. And with your sourdough kit you may want to ask for a new apron and a cookbook. It's just so cute and cozy to start taking time for yourself and learning how to bake a new things and just having a new apron and a cookbook to go in hand with your new baking sourdough kit is just perfect. Something that you could ask for, which is perfect for just an everyday tote

or if you want to have it for school or work is a long shop bag or any type of tote, but a long shop bag is so cute. It's so elevated and classy and perfect for everyday use. Also, Coach has really cute totes as well. Something that I have been loving right now is I just think they're so cute is the Ralph Lauren Bear sweaters. Another thing, and this is kind of like a New Year's staple, but getting a Stanley Cup to keep hydrated during the day or just any type of new, long-lasting, cool cup. It's the year of keeping hydrated, healthy, and glowing, and with that, you need to stay hydrated with water. So it truly is the perfect wishless stuff. item to ask for because it's practical and you definitely will be using it during the new year.

Another great idea is blue light glasses or new sunglasses. Blue light glasses are perfect to have when you're working on your computer or just being on your phone. It is not good to have all that blue light to her eyes. I need to get a new pair of blue light glasses because it is so important to not have your eyes always straining looking at your phone. Another idea is the hatch alarm clock or just a nice peaceful alarm clock to wake up to. I love waking up to a hatch alarm clock because I feel like I'm just like my heart isn't racing when I wake up hearing my iPhone alarm go off and said it's hearing like a nice peaceful breeze or it'll wake you up to some nice calming music. With that, you may want to ask for a new duvet insert or a duvet cover. I feel like it's so nice to have some new pillowcases, sheets, duvet, something that's going to look cute on your bed.

Whatever looks cute on your bed because, you know, we spend a little bit. lot of time in our room and our bed and we want to feel cozy cute and pretty so maybe ask for some new home decor and when you're asking for new home decor make sure you're being specific so people know what to get you and what your style is and if you don't have unnecessarily certain items that you're wanting to ask for you can even go on Pinterest and make a little mood board for someone to see personally i'm loving the shabby chic martha stewer nancy meyer's look so i'm going to be putting all that in maybe with some Love Shack Fancy inspo or some inspo of 90s Martha Stewart. And who knows, you may be even wanting to ask for some new furniture for your place. Another great idea of

something you can ask for is an aura ring. Again, that is something where it's kind of like entering our new season of us in 2025. So having an aura ring to focus on your health is a great thing to ask for or an Apple Watch. I know that's great as well. A great thing to ask for and to give to someone is an experience. So that could be a trip, a day trip somewhere, or concert tickets, amusement park, etc. Anything that kind of gives you a experience can be really exciting and something to look forward to. Maybe you could ask for a day trip to your local farm or go on a day trip to a cute place that you've been wanting to go check out to go shopping to. Stuff like that, like a little experience can be really nice and also get you and your family or you and your friends

out of the house. Okay, this is such a personal favorite, but a themed box. I love things that are a theme, so maybe you could ask for just a movie box. So someone could just get you different types of popcorn and a new movie to watch and a Netflix subscription. Things like that that kind of give you A theme is really fun as a gift to receive and to give to someone else. So that's a great gift idea to give to someone. Maybe a theme can also be a dessert box where you do a ton of different desserts or a snack box where you do a ton of different international snacks. It's really cool to just do on theme and on brand of things.

Personally, for me, I want a shabby, chic, love check, fancy, inspired box where it's all very girly, pink, and feminine. Okay, this is something. want to kind of have a good investment of an item, which is a Rothi's bag or a Rothi's shoes. I love Rothies. I'm such a Rothies fan and so was my mom. But it's basically shoes and bags and they have all different things that you can literally throw in the wash and it washes perfectly.

And it just gives you a new use out of your bag every time you wash it. So I really recommend trying to go maybe look into that. I have a Rothese bag myself that I love. They are definitely pricey, so there's a ton of other type of washable bags also over Amazon. Now, if you're a thrifter and just get all your clothes from the thrift store, it can be hard to know what to ask for because you don't really go shopping for certain items at certain stores, but you do go thrifting. So you can ask for a Goodwill gift card, or if the place where you go thrifting at doesn't have gift cards,

you can just ask for money to go towards your thrift trips in the future. Now, this is another personal favorite to ask for, but it's a jelly cat. Everyone loves a good jelly cat. It's the perfect item to receive and the perfect item to give. I feel like it's honestly the perfect item to give because I feel like no one really asked for a jelly cat. Oh, sorry, a jelly cat is a really cute stuff animal. They're definitely pricey, but they have any stuff animal you could think of.

I just got a bowl of oatmeal for a jelly cat, and it's so cute. It's literally a bowl of oatmeal with blueberries on it. It is the cutest stuff animal ever. But I feel like it's the type of item where you wouldn't necessarily ask for it usually, but anyone would love to receive it. So it really is just the perfect gift to give to someone. Next step is Gizu hair oil. I feel like it's so nice to have some beauty products that are long lasting

and are cute and going to make you excited to invest in self-care. So I think the Gizu Hair Oil is so cute and pretty. I remember I asked for it a few years ago and when I got it it was just the most exciting gift. Another thing you could ask for is a new comb or a new hairbrush. I feel like that's something where we kind of just need a refresh of a brush every year. Another one is MEJ clips. MEJ clips are just so cute, classy and they're really durable and last forever. But they're definitely pricey.

So if you want to maybe get a ton of other variety of clips, you could also go on Amazon and there's really great claw clips on there. Another great idea is a road phone case. I know everyone has the road phone case. I don't but I think it's so cute and adorable but maybe the new road phone case with the new Matilda Jurf peppermint lip gloss. I think it's so cute and maybe something that you want to ask for. One piece of a high quality jewelry like a bracelet or a necklace that's not going to tarnish is a really great thing to ask for because it's an investment and it's going to be nice to have all throughout your life because it's not going to tarnish and it's going to be really durable. So I really recommend getting something that

maybe is a really great quality jewelry piece. And you can also ask for a jewelry cleaner. I feel like our jewelry sometimes gets dirty from makeup and lotion. So asking for a jewelry cleaner or a jewelry solution can be super nice. When it comes to clothing, we all need some basics and staples, whether it's just a tank top or just a cute pair of shorts, but maybe you could ask for some nice basic staples from Brandy, Melville, or Skams, or Zara, really anywhere that has some great basics that you could always just rewear, rewear, rewear, under shirts, or for any of your outfits can be a great gift to receive. Like I said, home decor, when I was talking about the duvet sheets, home decor can be something that's super nice. Again, we're entering the new year. We're

want a new room a lot of the time, you know, changing up our room decor and organizing it. So adding some new things to your room, your home, your house, your bathroom, whatever it is can feel so nice, refreshing, and new. And again, look on Pinterest to try to find some styles you like, and that's going to help you try to be more specific on what items you're wanting. So you're able to achieve that style that you're going for. This is kind of random, but something that you could ask for is a subscription or music streaming platform. It's always nice to have a subscription renewed, so maybe that's a Netflix subscription, your Spotify, things like that where, you know, it's not a fun payment to do, but it's a necessity. You need to hear your music. You need to watch

your TV. So it honestly can be the perfect gift to receive. Books. We are entering the year of reading. So it's time for you to go find some books that you want to read in the new year. Remember, we're going to setting new goals for ourselves and one of the things is reading more books and if you're thinking i hate books i hate reading listen i was the same way i hated reading it was the worst to me but i have learned to love it because i actually found things i enjoy reading so maybe take time to go find and look on ticot of different ideas of books that align to you and things that you would like so maybe you can ask for a book for Christmas. Same goes with a journal. The five-minute journal is a great way to start off your new year and it's really great to just have by your bedside table so that's another thing

that you could ask for. I can't be the only one who has this like dream item of theirs that they always see whether it's a bag, a sweater, a top and you're like, I just need that but it's like sold out everywhere. Like I said, a jelly cat is something that you would not necessarily. ask for but anyone who receives it is just gonna think it's the perfect gift so maybe you can get a jelly cat based off of what they love so maybe if they like oatmeal get them the oatmeal bowl if they like bunnies get them the jelly cat stuffed animal bunny something that I feel like is the perfect gift to give is a ballabands and just a yoga Pilates set ballabands are a great um weight set

they have a lot of different things but I love their weights and who doesn't love entering the new year with some new workout equipment. Same with a Pilate set. Maybe you can give them a yoga mat or a sweat towel, something that's going to make them excited to get into the new year for their new year's resolutions because I feel like 99% of us set a health new year's resolution that has to do with working out. So it can feel exciting when you have some new equipment to work out with. I love this and I'm actually asking for one myself, but a coffee table book. I think coffee table books are just so nice to have on your bedside table or on your table or your kitchen wherever it is. It just is so pretty and there's so many different coffee table books that can

go with your style of home. I am awaiting Love Shack Fancy to put out a coffee table book because I will instantly buy it. But I'm asking for one that is honestly looks like a Love Shack Fancy style book and I think it's so shabby, chic and cute. Okay, this is the favorite. gift giving idea, but it's a monograms sink towel or anything monogrammed. As I said, monogrammed is just so classy and elevated when you have your initials on something or you have your name. And it just feels so personal. So if you give someone, you know, a monogrammed sink towel, they're going to love it because it has their initials on it. Who doesn't love something that's personalized? slippers are something that is just so nice to give someone because everyone loves a new pair of slippers

throughout the years and a Tiffany heart keychain I saw is definitely more on the pricier side but if you do want to spoil one of your girls definitely get the Tiffany heart key chain it is so cute perfect to add to someone's keys or house keys whatever it is it is just beautiful a fragrance is one of the perfect gifts you can give any girl in your life It can be any perfume and fragrance that you feel fits them the best. And there are so many millions of different fragrances out there. And also, sometimes at home goods or T.J. Max, they have really good ones. Along with a candle.

A candle is something that everyone loves, again, during the new year to start having some new things to be excited to use. So a candle can be so comforting and cute for a self-care night. Speaking up, as I was saying, you can do a themed box. You can do a themed box of like a self-care box for someone, so a candle, slippers, a robe. That is literally one of the best gifts you can receive. And maybe you want to put an ice roller in there, a guasha, a face steamer. This gift is not necessarily an exciting gift, but more of a very practical and useful, hopefully never have to use.

But useful gift is safety items. So every girl could use safety items so you could get someone a taser. pepper spray, just things like that to carry around with them for their safety is something that every girl appreciates. Honestly, anyone loves practical gifts. That's even like a portable charger because when, even though maybe it's not necessarily exciting as a gift, but I promise you it's going to be the most useful gift. As I said, you can get a candle with a candle wig trimmer. They're really inexpensive and just elevate the gift so much. A hot water bottle heater with like a cute furrow. sweater on the water bottle is so cute and nice for your period, your PMS symptoms, or if your back

hurts, it just is the perfect heater. Another great one is a rice pack heater. Those are two that I have and I use those whenever I'm having, you know, stomach pains or some PMS pains or if I have a headache, they're just perfect to have on hand. And they definitely fit into that wellness vibe. And if you're thinking that you don't have too much money to spend on gifts, let's not forget that the thought is what counts. Thoughtful free of cost gifts such as a heartfelt card or a planned date in the park or a picnic date or a DIY gift is honestly just as valued as much as a store-bought gift. If you're thinking, oh, well, that person's going to want, you know, something from a store or a beauty product or an item more, but I just can't afford it. let me just say any item can be bought but time cannot and you spending your time on being heartfelt and writing a really nice card or doing something like a little DIY thing for them is your own personal creation and it's

showing how much time and ever went into it so let me just say i honestly would love a heartfelt time card or something that's you know not store bought even more than a swadourbaugh item now moving on to gifts for any man in your life, your boyfriend, your husband, your dad, your brother, whatever. These are the perfect gifts to give to that man in your life. Okay, like I said, something practical and useful is so appreciated, but especially by men. So anything practical and useful, that could be an air tag in an air tag little case for it. So useful, so practical. An electric screwdriver.

Again, it's the perfect useful gift. Let's be real, every man loves a good hot sauce, a truffle oil. You can get them a nice high-quality chessboard. Another really great idea is you can get someone a watch case. I got my dad a cute case for his watches. And it's perfect because it just is nice and easy to use and it's going to be fun for them to get out now every single time they get out their watch. Another great idea is a toss holder.

So these things sit on a bedside table and you can get like a leather one and it's basically like almost like a little cup for them to just toss their keys in, toss their watchin, their rings in, whatever it is. But it's easy just to have inaccessible. So it's kind of like a toss all holder. Another good idea is a new cologne. There's so many great ones out there. You can get them a Stanley mug for their coffee every morning. A Japanese knife set is so appreciated by anyone, honestly.

Any person who has a home and a kitchen would love a. a Japanese knife set because it's going to make cooking so much easier and it just is a really great gift to receive. Another great one is a portable speaker because every person loves to play music where they go, whether it's in their garage or on the go. So a portable speaker is super nice. If the man in your life is a little classier, then you can get them the Ralph Lauren men's coffee table book. I think it's so nice and so pretty to have on a bedside table. Another great one is just a mug. You can get them a mug that has something that they love about it.

I got my grandpa because he loves airplanes. I got him a mug with all these different types of aircrafts on it. You can get someone a good puzzle. Specifically, I think the brand is the New Yorker. They have really nice high-quality puzzles that have great prints. Of course, this is a classic. But you could get someone in your life a gift card to their favorite store, a place that you know they love to go and it's great because it's personal you're picking out a place that

they love and if your person that you're giving likes to be cozy and comfortable get them a monogrammed plaid ralph lauren p j set i think it looks so nice and it just is the perfect gift to receive because let's be honest what guy is going out of their way to buy themselves pajamas not really so you have to always give that as the gift. And lastly, as I mentioned, for the girls as well, is a portable charger, one of the most useful gifts and so nice to have on hand. I know all this was a very item overload, but I want you to remember that it's really the thought that counts. And if you don't have a lot of money to spend, do not worry because gifting something such as a really heartfelt card can be so much more meaningful and so much more exciting than even a store-bought item. And I promise.

I know if you feel caught up about that and all the consumption and all the items being thrown out there and don't get me wrong. I love things and I love items and I love gifting items. So I want you just to remember though that the holidays are all about enjoying the holidays and not stressing about the gifts and it's not supposed to be about anything but being with your loved ones and just having the presence of others is the best gift that you could ever receive.
