Hello, my love. Good morning or good evening or afternoon whenever you're listening to this.
I'm your host, Jaden Haley, and welcome to The Busy Yet Pretty Podcast.
If you're new here, this show is all about how to become the best version of you, live your dream
life, get motivated, and honestly just seek happiness because we're all just trying to figure out
what truly makes us happy and live the most for life. You have one life and you deserve to live for you.
With that said, today's episode is going to be a really fun inspiration episode for the spring.
I know we are kind of midway into spring, but it's never too late to actually dial into the spring season.
And I feel like right now it's finally just getting a little more warmer for most of you guys where you're at.
It's been pretty much warm in L.A. where I'm at right now for a while.
But I feel like for most of you guys, it's getting a little warmer.
So hopefully it's starting to feel like spring weather.
But before we get into today's episode, let's do our weekly review.
This week I have been relaxing and taking things slow because I'm preparing to dial in right now.
Because, okay, I've mentioned this a few times and I kind of keep saying, oh, there's something exciting coming with the podcast.
But I'll just kind of tell you guys, I'm signing with a new podcast network.
That's a really good one, which is a really good big deal.
And I'm so excited.
So stay tuned for the announcement soon on my Instagram.
And when you see me post it, make sure you comment, I knew it or something like that.
So I know that you came from the show.
But anyways, another thing this week is I have been trying to potentially plan a little Nantucket trip.
All I want to do this summer is go to Nantucket.
That's literally all I see in my vision.
I will just watch videos on YouTube of people going to Nantucket and listening to anything that has to do with Nantucket.
It is just my calling.
I'm telling you guys, if one day I just suddenly.
go off the grid and you don't hear from me one day.
It's probably because I finally moved to Nantucket or a farm or somewhere that is peaceful
with no blue light, no phones, no computers.
Well, I know there's computers and phones there.
But my dream is to actually not have a phone and computer, which is surprising because
I'm on social media.
But truly, I just would love to one day just embrace the presence of nothing and embrace the
world and embrace green touch grass. But I feel like I'm not the only one that feels that way. I feel like
many of us are just wanting to be a little more present in our life. But, you know, a lot of times we do
get wrapped up in our phone and working on our phone. So another thing this week is I have just been
trying to get out my spring and summer clothes since the weather is getting warmer. I've been really
trying to lean into dresses and sun hats and everything spring and summer. Now on to my current
sessions. My current obsession of the week is chocolate bars. And when I say chocolate bars, I'm not
meaning like healthier chocolate bars. I'm meaning full sugar, full everything chocolate bars.
There is nothing that hits a PMS craving than a true sweet milk chocolate chocolate bar.
Like I'm usually a dark chocolate girl, but sometimes you just need that full sugar,
full milk chocolate bar kick. And I swear, it cures all those PMS cravings. And it also feeds
the soul. Okay, another current obsession right now is light weights for my workouts. I love doing
heated workout classes. I used to hate heated workouts, but now I've been loving it. And I love doing
light weights, whether it's like a three pound or a five pound weight. I think it's so good
to do little weights like that because it's good for your bones and it's good for your future
self. Another thing that's a current obsession right now is white nightgowns. I think they're so
chic, so classy. If you listen to last week's episode, I came out, I talked all about everything.
I love that is chic and classy and things that make you actually feel and look chic.
So that's one of them. I love white night gowns. Okay, now to the goal of the week.
My goal of the week is to get back onto my workout grind and my workout schedule. I know I'm not the
only one, but I swear when I am PMSing, I am absolutely wiped out. I'm tired and I want nothing to do
with anything but to just lay in my bed, read a book, and eat chocolate. And that's what I'm feeling
right now. So once I get my energy back, I'm very excited to start working out again. Another goal
week right now is to declutter my phone. I feel like everyone should do this once a month, or even on
the first of the month, we should start doing this where we all just have a little declutter session
on our phone, whether that's getting rid of apps or unfollowing people that don't serve you anymore,
removing things that you don't like on your phone and clearing out your camera rule doing things to
make you have a little more cleanness and organization in your life is going to help your mind be more
organized and something that we're doing a lot is being on our phone so if we're constantly just
in clutter and chaos on our phone we're going to feel a little more clutter and chaos.
Another goal of the week right now is to get some flower pots in my apartment.
Well actually my goal is to look into seeing if that's
a possibility. I would love more than anything to have a few pots of hydrangeas in my apartments,
but I do not think it's going to work well being in my apartment because I don't know if
fleas or gnats or whatever it is are attracted to those plants and bugs. And I do not want
to bring that into my home if so, but I'm going to see what are some house plants that I can
have that do not attract any bugs. Now on to your self-love question of the week.
What is my calling this spring?
I love that question so much because sometimes we feel like something is calling us.
Or we sometimes have to just reflect and think, what is calling us?
Maybe a certain little trip somewhere, a, you know, a change in something.
Maybe getting a new job or changing up your work schedule.
Moving apartments.
Whatever it is, you kind of can figure out what your calling is and go after it.
Now unto your affirmation of the week.
I am enjoying my life with every.
every up and down. I love that so much because sometimes we just want to enjoy the highlights,
of course, but we have to remember, in order for us to have highlights in good days, we have to have
some bad ones. Because if every day was a good day, it'd feel the same. So we have to have some bad
ones to make the good ones feel good. Also, in every situation, a downside, whatever it is,
there's always a positive that comes out of it. So that downside is going to be either a lesson for you
or it's going to teach you something, maybe it was rejection, and that's going to bring you
a redirection.
Now on to your challenge of the week, host a girls' day for your friends and family and gather
them together because it is so important for us to value our female friendships and gathering
all the great women in our life.
Also, something that I've been asking you guys about, if, okay, if you're new here,
we have a broadcast channel over Instagram, and we just chat on there, you guys talk to each other,
I talk to you guys.
It's very fun, but I usually pop in there once or twice a day.
And I've been asking you guys what you like when it comes to episodes,
hearing if you like longer episodes or shorter episodes.
And I'm beyond happy to hear you guys enjoy longer episodes because I'm going to do a little
more longer episodes, whether that's chatting about personal life things or chatting about
more on the topics.
I would love to hear what you like.
So let me know in the broadcast channel or in the comment section.
over Spotify. Speaking about your feedback, let's do our podcast review of the week. If you want to be
featured on next week's episode, make sure to leave a podcast review over Apple Podcasts and leave a rating
over Spotify. This review is from Lauren, and Lauren said, Hi, Jaden. I started listening to
your podcast a few weeks ago and I'm so grateful to have found it. Your energy deeply aligns
with my morals and listening makes me feel so connected to myself. I've been struggling to find
balance within college life and I withdrew from an internship this Monday that I was not passionate
about. I then listened to this episode where you speak about the importance of having a why,
helping me to realize that I made a positive choice for my wellness and I'm now feeling inspired
to seek and harness my passions. Thank you. Lauren, thank you so much for your sweet review. You just
said that so effortlessly and I just love how you frame that. I think it's so important and
amazing that you decided to withdraw from an internship that you knew that you weren't passionate about
because you knew deep down that was not your calling and why for something that we don't even
want when we have this one life to live and you deserve to live the life that you want.
Now getting into today's episode, today's episode is on shabby chic spring style.
Honestly, overall, just spring inspo.
So we're going to talk about solo hobbies for you to do in the spring, wardrobe inspo,
and farm fresh foods.
Spring is the season I'm just connecting with nature.
And I also feel like it's a very looked past season
because it's not necessarily snow
or it's not scorching hot outside,
but it's perfectly in the middle.
And I honestly think the definition of spring is balanced
because we think of this.
When it's snowing, it's winter and it's cold.
It's very all or nothing.
It's all.
It's very cold, okay?
Well, maybe not where you live, like right now.
I mean, in the winter,
in L.A. It's not snowing, but usually in the winter, it's cold and in the summer it's hot.
So having that little middle ground being spring is such a healthy balance. So I find spring
to be the perfect transition for us to pull out of that all or nothing mindset you have,
whether that's your work schedule, how you live throughout your day, how you view food, whatever
it is. Just working on letting go of the all or nothing mindset in spring is so important. And I
really just love spring to be the months and season of balance. Spring is just so feminine and dainty.
And if you're a guy listening to this or someone who is not fond of feminine style for themselves personally,
I want you to make spring how you like spring because I've recently realized that I actually am getting
some of a male audience here. Hello, welcome. And I want you guys to feel like if you were someone
who doesn't love, you know, feminine style for yourself to find what makes you happy for spring.
What do you like about spring? It's all about what makes you personally happy to wake up every day
and look forward to something. But as I was saying, spring is the perfect time to transition out
of winter where we were hibernating and it's now time to embrace both being present and taking things
slow, but most of all, getting up and trying new things for the season. I swear there is no more slump
and dragging this spring.
I feel like many of us have been in a slump.
We're trying to get out of winter.
We're tired.
We're down.
We're unmotivated.
Very normal.
Very okay for you to feel this way.
But again, we are here once.
We need to get the most out of our life and enjoy every second of it.
So starting is the hardest part.
Starting is the hardest part.
Getting up and just starting, whether that's getting up and just putting on your workout
clothes.
Getting up is the hardest part.
part. It's not the workout. It's getting up. Do things for you because you deserve to live this
happy life and not not provide for yourself. You want to provide for yourself. Don't wait for someone else
to do it. You deserve to enjoy the spring without waiting for someone else to enjoy it with you.
Picture this. This is the start of your best year yet. You're getting up. You're being present,
trying new things. It's the time of self-discovery, true happiness. Because if you think about it,
we've been mostly in all winter and now that the weather is hopefully getting a bit better for where you're at
spring is starting to feel like more warmer and it can also almost feel like the start of the year for you
because if you were just homebound all in the beginning of this year and is all cold out this is really your beginning of the year
so treat this like a little new year's reset but this spring embracing the shabby chic love shack fancy
inspired pink blues hydrangeas style is literally what I live for the bike riding all things
spring oh so feminine so girly so comforting and really just tapping into your feminine energy
something we tend to do is have all these fun plans in mind for the season but but we either have
nobody to do those plans with or sometimes we just want to do them accompanied by someone else
which is totally fine and I encourage you to get out there and do it with people you love
because it's all about creating memories.
But at that same time, don't wait for someone else to do it with you, holding you back from doing it.
You need to go take yourself on that little picnic if you want to.
You need to go on a bike ride alone.
Do things alone with yourself because you need to become your own best friend and I'm
going to talk more about this in future episodes.
But again, you were born into this earth with you and you're leaving it with you.
You have to learn how to like your own company because if you don't like yourself and if you don't
like being with yourself, you're going to have many problems of relying on other people in the future.
And I kind of am saying that like tough love because I want you to realize that you have to
love yourself and in order to be a secure, independent and enjoy your life, you have to.
You have to love being with yourself and love being with your own company.
So you spring as tapping in to find some new hobbies for you because that can be so important
when you're kind of feeling down or feeling sad or feel like you're killing time by just going on
your phone or trying to reach for a temporary happiness.
It's by finding new hobbies.
What can you replace that with?
I just saw a TikTok of a girl talking about how she said to her therapist, she cannot stop scrolling.
She literally lives on her phone.
She doesn't know why she cannot stop scrolling.
He's like because you're sad or you're stressed out.
So you reach for your phone and it's giving you some happiness.
What other things can give you happiness?
Because that is giving you happiness.
It's giving you a peace of mind, happiness.
You have to find something else that's going to replace that and give you that same happiness
and dopamine rush and that same peaceful feeling.
Maybe for you that's gardening.
That's not gardening by meaning smoking.
I'm meaning gardening as in dirt, soil, shovel,
overalls, that type of gardening, maybe for you that's cooking or baking or it's doing some meditation
classes. Find things that are going to give you that peace of mind and hobbies. But again, we're going to
get into a full thing of solo hobby checklist. But solo hobbies are truly the best way to dial
in and it just has no noise, no distractions, and not having that feeling of needing to
entertain anyone else because you're solo. You're doing it alone. It's your own hobby. You have no
entertainment or any time you have to owe to anyone while you're doing that. It's your own time to
enjoy being with yourself. So I can't be the only one who has this like dream item of theirs that they
always see whether it's a bag, a sweater, a top and you're like, I just need that, but it's like
sold out everywhere. That's me with this one vintage Duny and Burke bag. I literally was looking
everywhere for it and I somehow found one on a poshmark but not just one I found multiple of them at such a
good price and I was like wait this is just too good to be true so if you know me you know I am a poshmark girl
poshmark is a marketplace where you can list and sell as well as buy new items vintage pieces

I can't be the only one who has this like dream item of theirs that they always see, whether it's a bag, a
sweater, a top, and you're like, I just need that, but it's like sold out everywhere.
That's me with this one, vintage Duny and Birk bag.
I literally was looking everywhere for it and I somehow found one on a poshmark.
But not just one.
I found multiple of them at such a good price and I was like, wait, this is just too good to be true.
So if you know me, you know I am a poshmark girl.

So here are some of the perfect spring hobbies that you can do with yourself or with a friend.
depending on the weather a bike ride is the perfect spring hobby to do i am very intimidated to bike
ride where i'm living because i'm in the city and i don't trust my bike riding skills when it comes to
cars and me but whenever i go back home in san diego to see my parents i love bike riding around
just the neighborhood it's calm it's peaceful so if it's calm and peaceful where you're at go do a
little bike riding or if you're confident in your bike riding skills go in the city and go bike ride another
thing you can do with yourself or someone else as a solo hobby is pottery there is so many pottery classes
in the world i'm sure near you and you can do it at home or in doing it in a class if you want some
gorgeous pottery inspo my tic-tok friend alison on ticot she makes the cutest plates of just food
that looks absolutely divine and perfectly spring themed with like the radishes, the carrots,
everything.
But she makes all of her dishes and her pottery is so beautiful.
So maybe that's a hobby that you want to pick up.
Okay, something that I love during the spring and any time of the year, which is a personal favorite,
but farmers markets.
I swear farmers markets hopping, just hopping around different farmers markets is so fun.
Just trying out different produce and items to cook with at home.
make you so excited to actually look forward to something that night because not only are you going
to the farmer's market to browse around, but you're learning about new produce. You're gaining things
to cook that night to look forward to. And maybe the night before you go to the farmer's market,
get out a cookbook and look at all the things that you need to make a certain thing and then go
shop for it at the farmer's market. Another thing is make a hobby out of something beneficial to you.
So that could be you organizing. Maybe you love organizing.
and you start getting all these cute containers to organize your stuff in,
that's benefiting you because it's giving you a more organized space.
Maybe for you, that's learning a new language.
Maybe you pick up Duolingo.
It's beneficial to you.
Maybe it's learning about a new topic.
So if you want to learn more on finances and how taxes work,
you could watch videos on that and that's beneficial to you.
One more example, which is my all-time favorite, but reading.
I love reading.
And it's, of course, beneficial to your mind in your soul because you're reading.
It's helping your mind and you getting smart.
I feel like this is what teachers say to your kid when you're at school.
They're like, reading makes you smart.
But it does.
It's good for you.
It keeps up your brain.
It's good for you.
And also, it's good for your soul.
So reading is another great example of something that you could do.
Okay, this is a classic but sewing or needle pointing, crocheting, drawing.
just it brings out the feminine side of us to just slow down and enjoy also okay does anyone else
remember the bethany moda days if you were like born in the early 2000s you were then raised on bethny moda
as like the crafting girl she was my girl growing up i loved watching her on youtube every single
day in middle school and i truly believe that's why i'm just so crafty so maybe touch base with
your crafty side again and your younger self
Okay, this is a very fun hobby that you can do. That's very classy and chic.
Floral activities. So that could be putting together floral arrangements or a bouquet of flowers.
Another thing is you could be going around just doing floral activities like gardening,
picking flowers on a walk, or putting together little bouquets of flowers for people.
So fun. And it also just looks so pretty in your kitchen or your room.
Or maybe you're not into doing that. Go buy yourself some flowers.
Okay, I feel like we always talk about this one, but I have to mention it, of course,
working on yourself.
Working on yourself is the best solo hobby that you can do for yourself.
Yes, it's general.
Yes, it's a broad statement.
But when you begin to take time for yourself and put effort into investing in yourself,
I promise you it becomes exciting and not like a chore, you'll begin to want to do that.
So whether that's a workout or putting on your makeup or your skincare, whatever it is,
just getting ready in the morning, brushing your teeth, basic hygiene, taking yourself on a walk,
doing things like that, the hardest part is starting. Self-investment is the best thing that you could
ever do to yourself this spring. Best skill to have. Best thing that you could always lean back on.
Self-investment for your mind, body, and soul. Like I said, I feel like tapping into my feminine energy
just feels so nice and spring-like. So for me, that's cooking, baking, and just taking things
slow. I also don't want you to fall into hustle culture any time of the year. I obviously make
motivational episodes and that's all what this podcast is about is motivation, how to become the
best version of you. I originally started off being hardcore motivation and I am. Don't get me
wrong, but I've learned that that can only last so long. You have to find balance in your life.
When I was listening to podcast in the very beginning before I even started a podcast, I was listening to a few male podcasts who I still love to this day, love their shows.
But I was really listening to them as if I need to apply that to my life.
So for them, that was doing ice baths every single morning.
Love a good ice bath.
Personally, it would raise my cortisol levels.
Could not do that.
Could not do a two-hour workout in the morning like they are doing.
cannot work out at 5 a.m. every morning like they were doing. And also, it was a culture shock to me
when I remembered, oh wait, their body, a man's body, runs on a 24-hour cycle versus a woman's body
runs on a full month-long cycle. So you can't expect yourself to live up to something that is not
working for you. If you try to force something that doesn't work for you, even if another girl is
doing it. Someone who has the same lifestyle as you, but they're doing it more or better, waking up
earlier, whatever it is. If it doesn't work for you, don't force it because it's not meant for you.
We all are different. We all have different genes. We all have different tired levels. We all have
different energy levels. Everything. Everything is different than that person. Even if a lot of things
match up to be the same, we're different and we have different needs. They may have, you know,
a single life and no kids when they go home.
but you may have two kids and you're a single mom and you don't have a lot of time.
We all are working and maintaining different lives and different schedules.
You can never compare yourself to somebody else.
I am by far no means perfect.
I would say I am a lot more well motivated and well structured for sure than I was years ago
because of things I've learned and I've had discipline for myself and helped myself with.
but you have to realize you can do the same for yourself,
but do not compare your journey to someone else's.
You can only compare to your own self.
That being said, don't compare yourself to yourself either,
but you have to just have discipline for yourself
and work for what works for you
because if you try forcing something that doesn't work,
it's never going to work.
Same goes for anticipating exciting things.
A lot of times we will feel down,
whether we're working and we're like,
you know what, I have a vacation coming up in two months. So I'm just going to work until then
and then I can be excited for that. Yes, be excited for that and by all means, always look forward
to something. But at the same time, don't always live for the future. Live for right now.
What can you do right now today, right now this hour that can make you feel happier because
tomorrow is not promised and that's something that's very hard to appeal to swallow. But tomorrow is not
promise. Next month is not promised. And God forbid, nothing's going to happen to you. But let's just
not wait for the next thing and think, oh, I'll be happy when. I'll be happy when I go on that trip.
When I accomplish this one thing, when I move cities. What can you do right now to make you happy?
Because that is going to be such a difference in your life when you start living in the present
instead of living in the future and in the past. So to sum that up, stop waiting and anticipating the next
exciting thing because sometimes that thing is right in front of you going off of that another thing is
the point of life does not need to be all the highlights of your life your everyday simple things
are the point of life even though even though you're like oh i have the same routine every day
it's the same thing non-stop i'm working school i have to go home i have to make dinner for my family
every single thing like that that is very draining it's very like a broken record
So what can you do to add into your day? Because again, tomorrow's not promised and you have to think that the point of life is right in front of you. Maybe the point of life isn't to make millions of dollars. Okay? Maybe the point of life is just to make your family happy. Why did you want a million dollars? It's because you want to make your family happy. But maybe the point of making your family happy is being present and not being gone all hours of the day and being there a little more. So you have to really think of your why. Think of your purpose.
because your purpose and your why is priceless.
Okay, back on to solo hobbies.
I went off on a tangent there,
but some more solo hobbies that you can do is go on a color walk.
That can be waking up and saying,
okay, I'm going to go on a walk and look for everything that's yellow.
Pick a color, pink, yellow, green, purple you pick.
And you will start to realize how aware you are of things
that you would have looked past if you weren't looking for it before.
So it's truly just the perfect way to be mindful.
while going on a walk.
Another thing is redecorating your room.
So having a spring clean, then going to home goods, home sense, and shopping around.
You can even go to vintage shops, thrift stores, and find such cute home decor to add to your room.
It feels so nice when you get like a few little pieces to add to your space for the new season.
Swimming or laying by the pool with a book is truly the best spring slash summer activity.
I love doing that and it just feels so relaxing.
Speaking of books, pick up a damn book. I thought I hated reading when I was growing up
up, not growing up, but when I was in high school, I thought I hated reading because I dreaded it.
But it's not that I hated reading. It's that I hated reading what was being assigned for me to read
when I was in high school. So of course, nobody's going to like those books, most likely.
and when I picked reading back up the past year to two years, I've absolutely felt back in love with reading and you just have to find the right book because you have to find something that you like, what works for you because you're going to find something you like and you enjoy and it can be one of the best little, not escapes, but the best little escape that you can pick up throughout the day.
Another spring activity you can do, which is not a solo hobby, but more of a hobby you could do for your friends and your family.
but hosting hosting a monthly book club if you're into books or hosting a little Sunday brunch.
There's a girl on TikTok that I love watching her Sunday brunch videos and every single Sunday she makes like a brunch for her and her friends.
And I'm like that is the goal.
That's what I want to be doing.
But if you're able to host a little book club with your friends, host a book club or host one to do every month or every other month and bring a few little snacks and you guys can chat about your most recent reads.
I'm actually going to hold myself accountable and try to host a book club this summer and every month just gather my friends together.
And whatever book we end up reading, I'm going to be sharing with you guys so you guys can read it with us.
And it can be like a joined book club.
During spring, depending on where you are, it may feel almost like summer.
So just getting outside can be so important for you to do.
And I know we already talked about this a bit, but find excitement to spend time with yourself.
and I understand it can be difficult, but you need to put full effort into your solo dates as you would,
putting effort into a date with your friend or your significant other.
If you were to go on a date with a guy or with a friend, you would go somewhere to go eat.
So go do that with yourself.
Don't think, you know what, I'll just have my solo date at home and then, you know,
it just turns into a regular night at home.
Go make those times for yourself, schedule them out, dress up, do the same things you would,
with someone else but with yourself.
Same thing with self-investment.
If you wake up and you're thinking,
oh, well, I'm probably not going to leave the house today.
I'm going to do stuff at home.
Even if you're staying home all day,
get dressed, do your skincare, get ready for yourself.
Now let's get into wardrobe inspo.
So getting into wardrobe inspo,
I have been loving the love check fancy.
I let dresses, Cizan style.
I think it's just so beautiful, effortlessly chic,
and very feminine.
Love, girly,
feminine style yet put together and classy. Maybe if you're trying to find what style works best for you,
go on Pinterest and make a little Pinterest board of wardrobe inspo. I have a Pinterest board of
spring style. If you look at my Pinterest, I have lots of different spring boards. But I love
gingham's, pinks, pastels, navy blue, really leaning into the Nantucket style this spring.
I feel like I'm jumping ahead to summer, but the Nantucket Cape Cod style, I'm just,
and bodying. I love it. And be ready for many episodes about that, but maybe you want a bold
headband or some cute rain boots. And of course, how you carry yourself is so gorgeous. It's the
biggest best wardrobe you could have. You could be wearing, I kid you not, the most flattering
outfit. But if you're slouched over and you look insecure and you look like your heads down and
you're just looking at your phone, nobody's going to care about your outfit.
It's all about how you carry yourself.
But if you portray yourself, secure with yourself and putting your back up straight and
you're looking wide-eyed and shaking everyone's hand and looking confident in yourself,
you can be wearing the ugliest outfit you've ever seen your life.
But carrying yourself that way, I kid you not, nobody's going to blink a second thought at your
outfit.
They're just going to see how you're carrying yourself.
So how you carry yourself is the best wardrobe you could ever have.
Now when it comes to farm fresh produce, we love to eat into season.
I feel like eating in season is just so chic.
And also, the produce just tastes so much better.
But I really encourage you to go to the market, go to grocery shopping, wherever you like to get your groceries,
and pick out some things that are in season for you to cook with.
And it's going to just make your plates look pretty because the produce is going to look a lot better.
and it's going to taste really, really good.
So when it comes to farm fresh produce for the season,
some really good seasonal produce that you can get is asparagus,
peas, radish, spinach, which is my favorite,
artichoke, carrots, cherries, mango, strawberries, apricots.
Love them all.
I could eat bags of spinach a day.
I don't know why I love it so much,
but the only reason why I try to not exceed over like a cup or two cups of spinach a day,
is the oxalates in it.
If you were someone with kidney stones, not to scare you.
I'm just like I have very bad genetics of having kidney stones in my family and I've had it
multiple times.
But they like too much spinach and oxalates can cause kidney stones.
So I have to portion myself on the spinach.
But truly so, so good.
But take time to get out your cookbooks.
Go get a cookbook.
Get off your phone and actually cook from a cookbook.
follow a recipe and it can feel so nice to just follow something on season and just cook something
nice for yourself. Okay, this is another thing you could do for yourself that's like a solo hobby,
but have a picnic in the park. Have a little yoga session in the park. Have your seasonal
bowl of fruit with you and your homemade granola. I say homemade granola as if I've been making
homemade granola like casually the past a year. I have not. I have not made. I have not made
homemade granola for probably two years, so I definitely want to make some soon. But go make something
nice for yourself, played it all pretty for you, and have a little picnic in the park. I want you to
enjoy spring, and I understand how hard school or work can be, or even maintaining kids or whatever
you have going on that's occupying your time, whether it's stress from medical stress, maybe that's
going on our family problems. We all have things going on in our life. And it's the little things that
we do in our day to improve our life that's going to benefit us and make us more sane and happier
and healthier. And you deserve to feel good and enjoy your spring. So I really hope that you take
some time for yourself to enjoy spring because it's all about the pastels, the frolicking around,
and enjoying the season. I love you so much. And if you enjoy this episode, please share over your
Instagram story and TikTok. I always love reposting it, so make sure to tag me. Share this episode

The best compliments I hear is when someone said, my friend showed me this podcast. Literally,
I love hearing that. It just makes me happy to hear when the podcast gets passed around and just
the community gets bigger so we can all just talk to each other and just enjoy our lives.
But anyways, I love you so much. I hope.
You hope you have the best spring week season ever.
And do not forget to stay busy yet pretty.
M-a.
