Hello, my dolls. Welcome back to the Busy Yet Pretty Podcasts. I am your host, Jaden Haley.
So today we are going to talk about a very exciting episode. You guys love these types of episodes.
So I'm very excited to get into that today. But before we get into anything, I just want to start off by saying how thankful I am for you guys.
Every single day when I see you guys reposting the podcast on your story or on TikTok, it just truly makes me so happy.
because I do this podcast hoping to help others and for them to find self-love, self-improvement.
So every single time I receive a message from you guys, it just truly makes my day.
I also am not going to lie, I've been feeling really like run down and burnt out and
suiting up for 2023, which we're going to have lots of exciting episodes to talk about in
2023.
So stick around and be ready for a busy yet pretty at 2023.
But other than that, this week I've been really slow and been taking it easy listening to my body.
And I think it's really good to realize when you are tired or when you are craving downtime, listen to your body and provide that.
Because you're going to end up being more productive by resting and recharging rather than keep on going and kind of getting nothing done.
Because it's easy for us to want to continue being productive, but it's really good to just stop and recharge.
I like this one example that I heard, but we're like an iPhone where our battery runs out and we have to recharge.
And your phone doesn't work when it's low on battery.
So it's really good to recharge, get ready for the week ahead, don't feel bad about relaxing and recharging.
So I really want you guys to focus on that this week.
But I currently am trying to take it slow, doing one thing at a time.
I think also just the winter blues kick in.
I know everyone feels this way. So let's get through it together and I'm so proud of you guys.
We have such an exciting year ahead of us with so many opportunities, so much amazing things
coming our way. So get ready to manifest and to live your dream life. And I cannot wait to
get started in the new year with you guys. I currently am drinking a mushroom macha latte and
it's so good. I've been really having a hard time focusing. I feel like that. I feel like,
I've had a lot of fatigue.
I haven't been able to really just focus on one thing.
So this mushroom blend is good for focus, immunity, and balance.
It has green tea, macha, lion's mane, Rishi, Chaga, Turkey Tail, and Tulsi, which is all mushrooms.
And I'm really excited to just talk about this episode.
I'm feeling good and feeling ready to talk to you guys.
Okay, starting off with our weekly review.
I have been doing a lot of brunches in the farmer's market.
I love a little brunch time.
I think it's so nice.
I've been trying new restaurants out lately, and I think that's been one of my favorite things to do.
Well, I guess we'll get into the current session later, but I've been trying new brunch spots out and restaurants.
And I found lots of new places where I actually made a guide over Instagram of my favorite restaurants in L.A.
So you can go check that out if you need recommendations.
And I've been going to the farmer's market.
I Christmas shopped, which has been really, really good.
because I want to finish up my Christmas shopping.
We're only a few days away, and I want to just get it all done and enjoying the last few days
of the holidays.
This week, I also have been really addicted to my phone.
As I said, I've been needing a really good detox and not detox meaning food-wise,
but meaning just mindset and the habits that I've created.
I feel like, of course, everyone develops some unhealthy habits.
And my unhealthy habit that I feel like has developed is being on my phone way too much.
I have to be on my phone for work and that's totally okay.
But I sometimes see myself endlessly scrolling between my break time.
And I really just want to separate and read or I listen to a podcast and replace that time with something valuable rather than looking at blue light.
Because it really hurts my eyes and it really doesn't benefit me at all.
Another thing that I did this week is it's been raining out.
So it hasn't anymore, but when it was raining out, I really have just been enjoying the cold days.
I love the rain.
I feel like it really helps like me embrace the winter season.
But of course, it's gloomy, but not too cold and not too hot.
So it's right in the middle.
And I honestly hate that.
Just either let it be really hot or really cold, please.
Okay, I went to a few events.
I actually went to a Mesa Margella event, which was so lovely.
I am in love with their products.
As you guys know, Mesa Margella is one of my favorite brands.
So that was really fun.
I went to the Revolve Winter Wonderland.
They had fake snow.
Let me embrace the fake snow.
True fact, I've never seen snow before my life.
Do not judge me.
I know I have to see it one day and I will.
How have I gone 19 years without seeing snow?
I do not know.
that rhymed. I also went to a wellness event that was at the restaurant called Mr. T in Hollywood.
They have the best food there. I'm obsessed. Oh my gosh. Like don't get me started. They had this like
turmeric cauliflower and you know what? I think I'm going to make that for dinner tonight because that
sounds really good. Lastly, I went to a really fun event, which was a mood board event.
If you guys saw over my Instagram story, I made a physical mood board, which I think is so, so important
and is so much better than doing one online.
And don't get me wrong, I still always prefer my Pinterest mood boards,
but I think it's really important to do once a year a physical mood board to really
manifest it because you're being hands on.
And I just had such a fun time doing that.
So if you need mood board inspo, I have a few photos over my Instagram.
Moving on to my current obsession.
So currently my current obsession is trying new.
cafes and restaurants. I have had so much fun since moving here to L.A. and finding so many good
places. I feel like in San Diego, I really did my round. I tried almost all the restaurants I feel
like. And I'm just so happy to be in a new place where I can try new places. I'm a restaurant
girl. I love me a nice dinner. I love me a good brunch. I just love trying new places.
Another crint obsession is pearl nails.
I know I started complaining about my nails when I first caught them done, but now I love them.
I feel like they just really fit the winter spirit well.
I don't like the glazed donut name for the nails.
I just feel like the word pearl goes cuter, so I have been loving my pearl nails lately.
Another crant obsession is I've been loving the color combo of pink and gray.
I think pink and gray is so cute. I love pink and white, but pink and gray is an underrated color combo.
I've been loving to wear like a pink top underneath my gray knit sweater and I just think it's so, so cute.
So I have been loving that color combo.
Another current obsession is sitting in silence, which I feel like is a really weird current obsession,
but I just have been loving to sit in silence and not have TV on, not have music on, and just really
be with my own thoughts, honestly.
I just think it's really relaxing and I think it's something that everyone should do.
It's not good to always be entertained.
To me, listening to music is a form of almost being on my phone.
So I just have been loving sitting in silence and being with my own thoughts.
and I really think it gets you to be really creative.
And sometimes looking at your phone or listening to music
can really block your creative thoughts.
So I really think it's good to sit in silence,
be with your own thoughts,
and just address how you feel, work on yourself.
And I have just been loving it.
And also listening to the sounds of the city is so nice.
I always have my window open
and I listen to the cars going by
and just think it's so relaxing.
Okay, my last current of study,
session this week is ossaibals. I, okay, when is this not a current obsession, to be honest? I know. I know.
It's always my current obsession, but I love it. Even during the winter, it's so good. Like, I just think
they're so cute. I swear, this sounds really weird, but the moment I eat something pretty like an
ossaie bowl or a pretty yogurt bowl, it literally changes my personality. I will become a 10 times,
better of a person the minute I eat an also evil or a yogurt bowl. I swear it just transforms me into like
a glowing goddess when I eat one. It may just be me but I truly feel it does. Okay next up is a goal of the
week. So my goal of the week right now is to do morning meditation. I think it's really easy just to jump
to our phone and I want to from now on not look at my phone the minute I wake up and look at my phone the minute I wake up
and literally not even take a glance because if I just took a glimpse at my phone in the morning,
I will have the urge to want to answer all my emails and do everything on my phone.
No, I need to not look at my phone in the morning, wake up, meditate in the morning,
and then look at my phone because no matter what, the emails are still there, the notifications
are still there.
So regardless, it just has to do with starting your morning off on a positive, clear-minded note.
and I think it's just really good to do that.
And don't quote me on this because I could be saying it wrong,
but something about how the minute we wake up,
we all receive a dopamine rush.
And if we're constantly having that dopamine rush be our phone
when we look at it in the morning,
that can just be so bad for our mental health.
And it's really good to just stay away from your phone
for the first 30 minutes to an hour of waking up.
So I am very guilty of looking at my phone.
when I go to bed and when I wake up.
So this is definitely my goal of the week to start doing.
Another goal of the week is to schedule and plan better.
I feel like I've done way better at this lately where I cannot keep everything in my head that I have to do in my head.
Like it has to be on paper or like scheduled in my phone.
So I just think that's been really important is scheduling and planning.
Another goal of the week is to replace my screen time with reading.
I don't even want to say how much my screen time is.
Like I want you guys to go look at your settings, click on the screen time and see how much screen time that you have per day.
And I want you to try to subtract at least an hour to two hours.
Once you do it, it feels so nice and rewarding.
So I am not even telling you guys how much screen time I had a day because I found it so embarrassing.
But I actually have to work on my phone.
So that's different.
but I still mindlessly scroll.
So I do want to decrease those hours.
Okay, another goal of the week is to start juicing.
I love to juice myself, but I haven't done it since I've moved to my apartment.
And I just have been buying it at the store.
But I think it's really good to juice yourself.
One, it saves money, and two, it also just is nice and it keeps you organized
because you can do a few juices for the week.
And I just like to do it myself.
but I definitely want to start doing that this week.
Lastly, my goal of the week is to start doing affirmations aloud.
I always affirm in my mind, but I think it's really good to affirm out loud.
I will just be walking around my house just affirming things.
Like I will say, I am so successful.
Success follows me.
I have lots of relaxing time.
I love my life.
I receive many opportunities.
I will literally just be stating those things out loud to myself,
but it's really easy to embrace it more and feel those feelings
rather than just saying it in your mind.
So I would really recommend trying that this week.
Okay, moving on to a self-love question to ask yourself.
Once the last time, you've done a positive gesture to someone.
I love this question so much because it really helps you be mindful of others.
Of course, we need to take care of ourselves and ourselves as our knowledge.
number one priority. But it's really good to give back to the world. And honestly, once you give back,
you actually feel better within yourself. So I think it's really good to be mindful of that and
really ask yourself that question. Okay, I'm moving on to a podcast review. This review is from

If you're expecting the low, you will receive the low.
Believe that you deserve it and you will receive it.
So I just love that so much and I really want you guys to think about this one.
Okay guys, now let's get into this episode, which I am more than excited to talk about,
which is how to be your own dream girl.
Yes, your own.
Not their dream girl or his dream girl or her dream girl.
No, your own dream girl.
when you're your own dream girl, you become everybody's dream girl.
So let's talk about how to become your own dream girl.
What does a dream girl look like to you?
I want you to actually think about this.
And from this question, if you'd like, write down what a dream girl looks like to you.
What would she do?
What would she wear?
How would she act?
I want you to really think about that.
Envision her life, her traits.
What would she be like?
this episode is not only going to tell you how to be your own dream girl, but how to fall in love with yourself and your life.
And you need to do this for you and nobody else.
And today, I'm going to get sassy in this episode with you guys because I'm being serious.
I want you guys to have the best life.
You have two lives.
And your second life begins when you decide to make the change into living your best life.
So start now.
Don't wait for someone else.
Don't wait for something else to happen.
start now and perfect later.
So let's get into today's episode.
I love to romanticize my life.
I'm not ashamed of it.
I literally love to.
I'll romanticize my everyday life.
I am my own dream girl.
I don't think you guys understand.
I am my own dream girl.
I love seeing other girls be their own dream girl as well.
You need to do this for yourself.
Nobody else.
I know it's hard to say, but do not care.
what anyone thinks. If you begin to care what other people think, you're not going to be the person
you want to be. You cannot let people's words or thoughts dictate how you're going to treat yourself.
You have to do this for you and you only. And this is where your life is going to change for the better.
My favorite company in presence is myself. That's literally my favorite company is myself.
I love to be with myself. Life is literally so interesting when you're in love with your life.
You need to change your life or if you can't change your environment or can't change every single
thing that's going on in your life that may be negative, find the positive, okay?
You have to fall in love with your life.
Or fall in love with the idea of how you want your life to be and you will attract and manifest
that life to you.
You have to embody it.
For instance, when I get my nails done on the topic of romanticizing my life, I did not
just get my nails done.
I am becoming a new person when my nails are done.
I literally embrace it.
I love it.
I will look at them, the sunlight.
I love my nails.
I love it, okay?
I'm a new lady.
I have a new personality trait.
Okay, I made a yogurt bowl.
No, it's not a yogurt bowl.
It's a yogurt bowl with edible flowers, homemade granola, lavender honey, and fresh produce.
And beautiful food that's fueling.
my body. That's how I see it. A yogurt bowl is not just a yogurt bowl. You have to view things
in a different type of mindset and a different type of lens in order to romanticize your life and
love your life. For instance, if you have been bullied a lot of your life in school or at your job,
okay, you weren't just bullied. You been through these experiences and are now such a strong
woman look at it differently you have to change the narrative or you're just going to wallow
and your sadness you literally have to see yourself in a different lens even if your life is negative
find the positive make it a positive there is something out there that is positive that you can
find and be thankful for if it's just waking up and being alive that's something to be positive
for if it's being able to have food on the table that's something to be grateful for
It's up to you to find the positive, even if you feel your life is very negative.
Something that is really important is to create a routine.
Becoming your own dream girl can look like working out.
Go buy a new workout outfit to make you feel good and excited to work out.
Maybe being your own dream girl looks like going to Pilates with the girls.
Maybe it's stepping out of your comfort zone.
Life becomes a hundred times better when you look at it through a positive and grateful lens
and look at it through the lens as if you were living your dream life.
How would the version of your dream self act over a situation?
React and embrace those traits as you would if you were your dream girl.
Remember how I said earlier, what does your own dream girl look like?
What does she look like?
Embrace those traits and react to situations as she would.
Stop wallowing in your sadness and darkness.
That's not going to take you anywhere.
This is in your hands.
You can either stay as you are or you can live as your own dream girl.
If you were a guy listening to this or you can live as your own dream guy.
And whether this means changing your environment, waking up earlier, dropping your fake friends, changing career paths or buying a new wardrobe, then do it.
Nothing's stopping you.
There's no harm in trying, but there is harm in staying put and never knowing where life could have taken you if you had just tried.
and took the risk.
And honestly, there's no risk in trying to be a better self.
And the best part is, it's never too late to switch and be your own dream girl.
You can start at any time and start living the life that you've always wanted to live.
If you think of a dream girl, how would they dress?
How would they live day to day?
What would they wear?
What would they buy?
What's their routine look like?
Emboddy that.
Embody that person that you would desire to be like.
Treat yourself as if you would treat someone you love your dream girl.
I bet you the hypothetical dream girl that you described would be treated amazing, be treated sweet.
Treat yourself that way and expect that.
And if you do not receive that, that is disrespectful and bye bye.
You can leave.
You don't have to be a part of my life.
Being your own dream girl starts with changing your mindset.
And I'm going to say this over and over, but be your own dream girl for yourself and nobody else.
When you put yourself on a pedestal, you'll attract opportunities and things you've always wanted to ever have in your life.
Another thing, be kind to others and share love.
And when you work on yourself and become a better person, you'll begin to project that to others.
Start within and it will show on the outside.
You have to prioritize yourself because you are your best project.
Personally, things that make me feel like my own dream girl is wearing my pink for love and love.
lemon PJs. They're so cute. It makes me really embody that dream girl feeling. Another thing is
ice rolling in the morning. It makes me feel really nice and sculpted. Something that's really
important to me to feel my own dream girl is to be involved with wellness. I think wellness is
really nice. It helps me touch into my divine feminine. And I just love going to the sauna,
cryotherapy. So those things make me feel like my own dream girl. I love doing Pilates.
I love the color pink.
I know this is embarrassing, but like, this is what I mean by romanticizing your own life.
I will literally pretend I have paparazzi every single time I get out of the car.
Like, I'm not kidding.
I will actually pretend that.
I don't let anyone know that I do, but I like to pretend it.
Like I will embody that feeling, embrace that feeling as if, you know what, I had a paparazzi
surrounding after me.
You know what?
It's going to happen one day because I,
I feel those feelings and I believe it.
Another thing that makes me feel like my own dream girl is looking in every mirror that I pass.
As Paris Hilton says, never pass a mirror without looking in it.
So remember that.
Something else that makes me feel like my own dream girl is bringing lip gloss everywhere.
When I go out to dinner, I will literally reapply the lip gloss between each course.
Like it makes me feel really cute for myself.
I could be having a self-date and I still do it.
I don't do it for anyone else.
I do it for me.
Another thing is putting a face mask on.
I feel it's really nice to take care of myself
and that's what a dream girl would do
and that's what a being my own dream girl looks like on me.
Another one with the romanticizing your life is
I will drink my kombucha out of a wine glass.
Why?
Because it makes me feel good.
I think it's cute, it's fancy, and I like it that way.
The majority of the people probably just drink it out of the regular jar.
But you know what?
for me, looking like a dream girl to myself will be pouring the kombucha in my wine glass
and drinking it out of that. So those are some things that I like to do and that makes me feel
like my own dream girl. I literally believe I can do and I will achieve every single thing that
I desire. And I do. It's true. Like there are things that I desire. I believe that I attract and I
should receive and guess what i receive it you have to expect it what did i say in the beginning of
this episode you need to have high standards and i know it's sometimes hard to really feel those feelings
and embody that dream girl energy but think of it this way would your idle or ideal version of yourself
accept disrespect or settle no so why are you you cannot settle or accept disrespect
And earlier in this episode when I said write down things, if you decided to write things down, you had your list of the traits and how a dream girl would act or if you think of them, become your wish list.
You have to literally become every single thing that you wrote down.
Even if you aren't there yet, feel the feelings as if you already are.
Write down all those traits in the person you wish to be and you will become that person.
What's stopping you?
Seriously, like what's stopping you?
Is it the people from school?
Is it your coworkers?
Is it your family?
Is it your friends?
Or as I should say, your fake friends?
Nobody's opinion matters except for yourself.
So don't let single things stop you from living your dream life.
I promise you, I know you guys always want an episode about my school life and how I was
bullied in the past and everything.
But I promise you I will get there.
But just a little example is when I started putting up.
posting on social media.
I had some people at school who would laugh at me about it
or would pull up my videos in class and would mock me.
And it was embarrassing, but I didn't let it get to me.
I continued to do it.
And guess what?
Those same people are actually in my DM request and saying,
miss you, no babe.
Who are you?
People are going to try to stop you from being the best version of yourself
and you have to remember that it's you at the end of the day.
and jealousy is a disease.
They literally are jealous of you.
Or if they're not, they're going to be once you start living your dream life.
Trust the process.
And I want you to remember that.
It's so important to trust the process.
And in high school, I was shy.
I was quiet.
I was not confident.
But still inside me, I still told myself, I need to continue doing what I love.
So I would still post stuff and go to school.
I'd post some things on social media.
I'd go to school.
And you know what?
I'd receive some comments, but it didn't matter.
I continued to do what I wanted to do.
Now that I have things going for me in my life and move to my ideal city and live my dream life,
I spot these people trying to come back to me and act like they were friends with me.
No, babe, you weren't.
You were not friends with me.
I do not know you.
Expect the best in life and you will receive the best.
I'm sorry.
Actually, I'm not sorry, but I am obsessed with myself.
And you should be too.
You should be absolutely obsessed with yourself.
You should wake up and say, wow, I cannot believe I'm so fortunate to be waking up every day as your name.
So I wake up and I'm like, wow, I cannot believe I am so fortunate to live Jaden Haley's life.
You need to be obsessed with yourself and that's the end of that.
You have to be.
Wake up.
Go to an early Pilates class or do Pilates at home.
do yoga make gluten-free pancakes and add some cute vegan whipped cream on it film and get ready with me
put on makeup in an outfit to stay in meditate take a bath with a face mask on and lastly drink kombucha
out of a wine glass you need to embrace life okay you're so lucky to be who you are and you're so
lucky to be here you're here for a reason you weren't just put here you were put here for a reason
and you aren't here just to be sad and do nothing.
The world wants you.
Literally, the world wants you.
The world is waiting for you.
And most importantly, you need you.
Begin falling in love with yourself and become the version of yourself you've always dreamed to be.
