my dolls, welcome back to the busy yet pretty podcast. I'm your host, Jaden Haley. I hope you all have
been doing absolutely lovely, as always, and been having the best busy yet pretty week. So let's get
straight into the weekly bullet points. As you probably already know, the last episode wasn't too bright,
but this episode is going to be very fun and bright and I'm very excited for you guys to listen to
this episode. And I'm not going to lie, starting off with our weekly review,
this week has been absolutely amazing.
I think that I just have been so positive,
even after going through a hard time,
but just being so positive
has led me to so many opportunities and fun things
coming up, and honestly, I've never been happier.
I'm truly so happy with everything that's going on right now,
and I'm just so excited.
There is so much in the works,
so I am very much looking forward to all of that.
Anyways, this week I had a pop-up at Coffee Dose.
They have a few different locations, but I did it at the Irvine one, and I got to sell some of my favorite clothing pieces and accessories to you guys.
And it was seriously just so, so fun.
You all got to shop while drinking matcha from the cafe, and it was just so, so cute.
Some of you guys actually came up to me and told me how much you love Busy at Pretty, and it truly made my day.
I seriously was like, oh my gosh.
Like knowing how much you guys love it and just meeting you guys in person telling me that you like the podcast is just the best feeling ever.
So I just wanted to say and share how cool that was to me how that you guys love the podcast and had told me in person.
Okay, what else did we do this week?
Oh, okay, so I've been very consistent with my workouts and I'm so happy because I have just been loving my morning work.
It's one of my favorite things, a part of my morning routine.
I've been working out every morning on the weekdays and having a morning hot girl walk.
And then on the weekends, I usually sleep in a little longer so I don't work out those days.
And I just think it's so nice to have a healthy balance of having workouts and walks and taking time off.
So I have just been loving working out.
It's been so fun.
And my hot girl walks in the mornings are uncomparable.
I love those so much.
But other than that, this week, there's just been so, so much going on for me.
I'm very excited to share lots of things with you guys coming up this summer, so be ready.
And honestly, I have just been practicing so much gratitude.
And I feel like just being so grateful for your life and grateful for anything that is in your life.
It doesn't even matter if your life feels like it's falling apart or whatever.
you can still try to find little ways to be grateful for it.
And I feel like me being so grateful and full of gratitude lately of all the abundance in my life
has made good things come to me.
So just manifesting a lot and lots of the stuff are becoming my reality.
Okay, moving on to current obsessions.
So my current obsession is celery juice.
And I will get deep into talking about celery juice very soon.
soon, but my current obsession is celery juice. So, so good. And makes my skin so glowy. But let's see
what else I've been loving. Oh, I've been loving morning showers. I've been doing my
workout, then my hot girl walk, and then afterwards, I love to just take a morning shower.
I still take night showers too. But I just think it's nice to have a morning shower as well.
But I think it's just so nice to hear the birds, and it wakes you up for your day.
I have been loving listening to birds.
I don't know why, but this summer has been the most I've heard birds outside, and they just
sounds so beautiful.
I will try to open my window and see if you guys can hear it.
You guys either just heard a ton of pretty birds or a ton of construction, so let's pray it was
the birds.
Okay, let's see, what else?
Oh, I have just been obsessed with the sun.
I don't like to lay out in the sun because I feel like it just isn't that great for my skin.
So I don't necessarily lay out in the sun, but I love to just take a walk and soak up the summer sun.
And that's enough for me.
I just love the sun so much.
And it's so true, though, your emotions and just like your happiness is so much better in the summer.
And it's definitely because we are lacking the sun in the winter.
Another current obsession is chia seeds. I am beyond in love with chia seeds. I have them every morning, either a chia seed bowl or I'll have chia seeds with yogurt in a yogurt bowl. But chia seeds are everything. They're very good for your gut health and they just taste good. I don't know. I just love them. If you guys are on TikTok, you probably already seen it's the Kim Kardashian like shower, cleanse, drink. I don't really know what it's called, but it's basically,
mixing chia seeds and water. I haven't really read about it or found out the benefits of it,
but I know a lot of people are trying to chug down the like shower, cleanse, water,
chia seed drink, but I feel like it's the same thing if you had it in like milk or yogurt
because it's still chia seeds. You're just drinking it with like water or with yogurt.
I don't know. Maybe there's a difference, but I personally love to have chia seeds and yogurt.
and it just tastes so good.
Okay, another one of my current obsessions of this week are biker shorts.
Biker shorts are my thing this summer.
They are just so comfy and I feel like you can wear them anywhere.
I mean, they're so cute and they're just perfect for the summer.
Moving on to the goal of the week.
My goal of the week is to go thrifting again,
which is probably not the best idea for this week because I have so much
to do and very booked and busy, but you know what? Self-care is productive and self-care to me is
thrifting. So, I mean, not really self-care, but you know, it's a form of self-care. We can say
shopping is a form of self-care, right? Totally. 100%. And self-care is a way to be productive.
So, in result, thrifting this week will be a form of productivity, right? Okay, perfect. Me trying to literally
justify thrifting being I know I have way too many clothes already and I don't need anymore. But you know
what? It brings me happiness. So I'm going to go thrifting this week. Okay. Another goal of the week
is my passport. Guys, you will be so proud. I filled out my passport and now I booked my appointment
and so basically this isn't a goal of the week I guess. But I booked my appointment and the
earliest they had was in July. I'm like, you're kidding me. This girl wants to travel now,
so I'm trying to find an earlier appointment. Another goal of the week is to look through my makeup
and purchase more clean beauty products. I know there's a documentary I mentioned in the past
that I don't remember what it's called now, but it's on beauty products and just how hazardous
they can be to your body with the chemicals. I just really want to look through. I just really want to look
through all my makeup and start shopping clean beauty products because I don't do makeup every day.
I do skincare every day, but still, skincare is another thing.
You want to make sure that you're putting good clean ingredients into your body.
Okay, dolls, let's move on to a quote from my five-minute journal.
When you give joy to other people, you get more joy in return.
That is so true, and I just love that quote so much because I feel like lately I've been feeling
that way a lot.
I have just been making sure I go out of my way to share joy and to compliment others. And I feel like
I've gotten a lot of joy in return as well. And of course you don't want to compliment or share
joy with others just to get stuff in return. But I do feel like I have been doing the extra
lately to compliment others and to be nice towards others. And lately, I feel like it's just been
being returned quite often. Okay. A self-love question.
to ask yourself, what's the biggest improvement I've seen in myself this past year?
This is so great to acknowledge your progress and really think about what was the biggest
improvement that you've seen in yourself this past year. I really recommend pausing this

Okay, guys, let's get into today's episode, which I am pretty excited about.
Today's episode, I really wanted to talk about Pink Pilates Summer.
Yes, it is the summertime.
Everyone's out of school.
It's a perfect time to transition into talking about living out our Pink Pilates Summer.
There are some things that I cannot live without this summer, and I just need to share them with you guys.
because this summer is going to be the best summer ever.
So let's get our pink Pilates summer on.
So to talk about this because this is my current obsession,
but I want to dive deeper into talking about this.
But if you're wanting glowing skin this summer
for your little no makeup sun-kiss cheek look,
celery juice is your best friend.
I have been drinking celery juice a few times a week
and I'm not kidding.
I've already noticed the difference.
It's seriously my favorite and it honestly just tastes so, so good.
I definitely have mastered what recipe that I love the most for celery juice because, of course,
if it's not sweet at all, it can definitely taste quite bad, but it was trial and error,
but I finally found which recipe works for me.
So, first of all, you need to buy a juicer or go somewhere to get.
get celery juice, but honestly, it's so much less expensive to just get your own juicer at home
and do it yourself. I found the easiest juicer ever over Amazon, and it's so pretty,
and it's white, and it's silver, and I just love it so much. It's so easy to use, so if you're
really wanting an easy and expensive juicer, definitely check out the one I linked on my Amazon
storefront. This makes about like three, I think it's 12 or 16 ounce bottle.
but it's three apples and then do an entire stock of celery and then do a small thing of ginger,
one lemon, and three cucumbers. So I found that to be the best recipe for me and it honestly
tastes so good. It's definitely one of the best green juices out there when you add something
sweet to it like apple. And I think just adding the apple and the cucumber and the lemon really
balances out the ginger and the celery. So I totally recommend that.
recipe and it's just amazing. Okay, next up is morning walks. I love my morning hot girl walks. There is
not a day I go without it. It's like one of the most exciting things I look forward to my morning
routine because it's just a nice way to start your day off on a positive note and to just
clear your mind. One of my favorite things to do when having my morning walks is either listen to a
podcast or some music. I personally love listening to a podcast.
because I feel like I can't really listen to podcasts whenever I'm working.
So this is my time to listen to podcasts and I just love it.
I love to just get my little cute bikers shorts on and my little way sweatshirt.
It just is the cutest look and how can I forget my pink Nikes?
This is so funny.
So everyone asked where I got my pink Nikes from.
They're literally the kids version.
It's so much cheaper to purchase the child version shoes.
the pink nikes than the women's. So I have the kids size five and I'm a woman's size seven.
So size down two for the kids and you will save so much money than buying the original
woman size version. I have that exact pair linked over my Amazon storefront as well if you
were wanting to check those out. So another thing that I touched on earlier is gratitude.
But this summer gratitude is going to be your number one. And when you're grateful, you're just
internally happier. Start doing affirmations. Start journaling. Sit outside when you journal. I just love to do
affirmations while I'm eating breakfast outside. I just think it's overall just so, so nice to clear your
mind and really focus on what is your goals and affirm to yourself your daily affirmations because
the 20% of your day is your morning. So it will allow that 20% of time that you do affirmations and
practicing that to be held throughout the rest of the 80% of your day. So remember the 80-20 rule
and really focus on gratitude and affirmations. Okay, another thing that I want to touch on is exercise.
It's literally so good to move your body for not only your health, but also your mind. You can do
Pilates, cardio, lifting, runs, walks, yoga, anything. Literally anything that you love, do it.
Personally, my favorite are yoga, Pilates, correlated workouts, and just summer morning walks.
Those just bring me the most happiness.
And I just love getting a good sweat on and feeling like I'm doing such a favor to my health.
And if you've been not in the best state of working out and have been wanting to get back into it,
I definitely recommend rewarding yourself by buying yourself a new workout set.
and of course my favorites are alo. I love Nike. I love set active. But just getting yourself a new
workout set or some new running shoes like the pink Nike's that I have that I literally am obsessed
with. But something to make you excited for your workout. If you're lacking some workout equipment,
invest in some new like workout bands. I have like this pack of pink workout bands that I love so much
and I use them every day.
I also have the bala bands that are pink and they're just so cute.
So if you're locking some nice new gym equipment,
I definitely recommend you invest in some
and it will make your workout just so much more exciting.
Another thing that I totally recommend doing this summer
is spending time outside.
Like I said, my mood just feels so much more boosted
when I get some sun
and I'm listening to the birds and the warm weather.
I just love being outside.
It makes me so happy.
So I recommend going outside, journaling, listening to the birds, hot girl walk, all of that.
Okay, another thing this summer, you are going to focus on your mindset and where your mind is at.
Listen, okay, if you want to live a happy life, you have to be internally happy.
And again, internally happy is self-love, having gratitude, showing love to others,
shutting off negative thoughts and doubts, having goals, manifestations.
And that's some examples of internal happiness and projecting internal happiness.
So really focus on what your mind is at.
It's kind of weird to think about what you're thinking about.
But if you just sometimes stop and just think, what am I thinking about right now?
And if you're just seeing in your head, that all you've been thinking about is negative self-talk,
or just feeling doubtful or not feeling motivated, really think about that and rewrite the thought
in your head that's negative and make it a positive.
If you're like, ugh, I literally have nothing to do.
Rewrite that thought in your head and think, there's so much to do out there and there's so many
opportunities for me and take the extra step to do that.
Really remember to think where your mind is at and reshape those thoughts.
that are negative. I just think having a good mindset can fix almost any problem because when you have
a good mindset on life, you begin to attract good things. So if you're focusing on just the negative,
you're going to attract the negative. If you're focusing on the positive, you will most definitely
attract the positive. And that's where gratitude and internal happiness kicks in. So really make sure
that you have that eternal happiness from self-love and continue to focus on your mindset this summer.
Okay, another thing that I really recommend is spending your time wisely.
Everyone has time off, you know, if you're in school, you're on summer.
It's so nice to have time off, and I'm sure that a lot of people are taking off work this summer
to have more free time.
But when you find yourself bored, use that time to better yourself and to advance yourself in your future.
because I guarantee you once you're busy and stuck doing a ton of work again or a lot of school again,
you're going to wish you had that extra time back to better yourself,
which is why I always preach to use your time wisely.
If you just find yourself bored not doing anything and just starting to feel unmotivated,
it's time to stop and restart.
Re-center back to where your goals are.
What are your goals?
Think about them and try to better yourself and advance yourself.
to achieving those goals.
So let's say this summer your goal is to read a book.
If you read 10 minutes a day, which is barely any time,
but if you read 10 minutes a day for a week,
you've already read 70 minutes.
And of course, that 10 minutes feels so small,
but once you're done and see the final product,
you've already read 70 minutes this week from your book.
Doing those little efforts to spend your time wisely,
and you will see those results pay off.
If you are a doll who loves to lay out in the sun, SPF needs to be your best friend.
I will forever preach it. SPF.
I'm yet to find an SPF that has really good, clean products that I like with a really high SPF.
But so far, my favorite is Super Goop, which works really well, and I literally love it.
I understand not everyone can probably afford it because it is kind of expensive and it's a small bottle.
but honestly, it's so worth it in the long run for your skin.
So I definitely recommend investing in a good SPF,
as well as if you're not wanting to tan outside and want to be tan still.
I recommend getting a good organic tanning mousse.
I have my favorite one linked over my Amazon storefront,
as well as everything linked over my modem too.

Another thing that we are 100% doing this summer is staying hydrant.
I will not leave anywhere without my 32 ounce simple modern water bottle.
The moment you get a simple modern water bottle, you are going to influence everyone.
I also recommend just getting the 32 ounce if you're going to get it because it's an investment
that you will not regret.
It holds so much water and I drink so much of it a day.
It's literally my favorite and the exact one that I have is linked over my Amazon storefront as well.
I keep mentioning my Amazon storefront and my modem because lots of you guys ask where my things are from in videos
and I find it easier just to say it's in my Amazon storefront or my modem because it's hard to answer every single person and send the link to every person.

Okay, another thing, which I know a lot of people like to go out and get their salads and trust me,
I do too. But dolls, let's start making our salad wraps and bowls at home. Literally, I'll go some places
and it's $15 or more for like a salad bowl. And I'm not joking. It's so good. I would literally do it again
and I still do. But every single day, it can definitely add up. Get the ingredients once a week,
go shopping and get the produce. You have your own little bowl at home and you can honestly
just search up their recipe to the places that you like.
Example, if you like sweet greens, then search up their recipes and you can find them online
and make it yourself at home. Along with also making sure that you get a lot of vitamins through
food. It's so good to make sure you're getting vitamins from your fruit. For instance,
watermelon, raspberries, strawberries, kiwis, blackberries, blueberries, papaya. Those are my favorite
fruits right now. I have them all in my fridge and been eating them ever.
every single day. Oh, another thing. Sorry, I'm like jumping from thing to thing, but you know what.
This is what the busy yet pretty lifestyle is. Okay, papaya bowls. They are my favorite right now.
I have been getting papaya from Trader Joe's, and it's definitely not as good as the ones in Hawaii,
but they're still very good and very good for your gut help. I cut a papaya in half and then I just
fill it with yogurt and chia seeds. I put fruit in it and I put like granola and it just tastes
amazing. Same with asaibals. Asaubles are my favorite as well and I just love to dress up an
assaiable with lots of toppings. We're on a little food kick right now, but I definitely
recommend also baking. Baking is so fun and learning new recipes. So I recommend going through
Pinterest, find some things that looks good to you, find a recipe, and bake. Put on a podcast
while baking. That's what my favorite things to do or bake with someone you love. I love to
bake with my mom, so I'm just really looking forward to baking late summer nights with her.
Oh, and another fun thing to do is find your drink of choice for this summer.
Right now, I have been going back and forth from different drinks.
I am, of course, a matcha girl.
I'd have her morning, lunch, dinner, if I could, but, you know, kidney stone girl right
here, so she cannot.
But instead, I've been changing it up and having macha, chylates.
shaken espresso's, passion tango tea.
I've been loving what I've been making at home,
and I also have been loving La Cologne's.
So good.
I just feel like La Cologne beans are much better than Starbucks.
And I also want to start supporting small local cafes.
I mean, Starbucks is great, has everything,
but it's also nice to support small businesses and little cafes near you.
So start doing that or making your own at home, which is also great.
So I really recommend waking up early summer mornings to enjoy the weather.
It's so nice to wake up early.
It starts your day off on a good start and it feels like you just have a longer day.
And it gets your sleep schedule on track and it just feels good.
Okay, talking about what I'm going to wear this summer,
I really want to get a nice pair of light-washed jeans.
I feel like just a nice leave eyes, you know, the 501s.
so, so cute. So just pairing it with like a white top is just so classy. And I know that's
quote basic, but I feel like just having a nice day by the pool and then taking a shower and
then before dinner, just putting on a little white top and light washed jeans is just so cute and
classy. So that's something that I definitely want to get as well as more tube tops. I love a little
tube top. I have a white one and I've been wearing her quite often. And I've been wearing her quite often.
and they're just so, so cute and perfect for the summer.
Last summer, I was addicted to wearing overalls with bathing suits,
and I just think it's so cute.
It's perfect to just have a little summer day in and then go out
because it's still appropriate, you know, with the overalls.
It's casual yet cute.
Something else that I'm literally obsessed with that I talked about earlier,
but it's biker shorts and braweds.
So cute.
I love them.
You can get a cute little biker short
and brolet set from my mom made it.
That's my favorite brand right now for biker shorts.
The best quality ever.
Literally, the quality is immaculate and I'm just obsessed with them.
I know brandy has biker shorts too.
I'm not sure if they still have them.
Biker shorts are so cute, perfect for On the Move, and just a summer day.
This summer, I also want to do a lot of braids in my hair and just putting flowers throughout the braids.
And I'm going to do an Instagram post with that very soon.
course, the blueprint, Matilda Jerv, I saw her do it and I was like, yeah, that's it. That's the look.
And of course, how can we forget about claw clips? It's perfect for hot weather, especially if you
like don't like your hair, touching your neck because it gets all sweaty. That's me. I have pretty
thick, long hair, so I just like my hair up all the time and ponytails just hurt my head
sometimes and give me a headache. So claw clips are my favorite. Now, this is something that I
I think is super good, but it's to switch up your routine. I really think it's good to switch up your
routine and just try something new, like trying new places, new experiences, hanging out with new people,
new food spots. All those things are super good and will bring experiences into your life, even
trying new hobbies. You may find a really good hobby and that will prevent you from having
burnout by just changing up your routine and your daily life. Okay, I'm going to
recommend this to everyone. I love it so much. But this summer, we are going to exfoliate,
dry brush, and moisturize. Right now, I have just been on a little leg kick. I have just been
loving, moisturizing my legs. Dry brushing is super nice. It really helps with strawberry
legs and cellulite. And those are both gorgeous things in normal things. And this is more just to say,
want a smoother finish on your legs. It really helps to dry brush them and moisturize. So I've
been doing that almost every day and can totally see a difference in my legs and they're just so much
smoother. Again, strawberry legs and cellulite is beautiful. I literally have stretch marks and
tiger stripes all on my upper thigh and booty and I am not ashamed one bit and honestly,
like, I love them. So don't be ashamed at all.
Everyone has stretch marks, cellulite, strawberry legs, and it's beautiful on everyone.
Okay, fragrances.
I wanted to talk about this because lately I have just been loving, smelling good.
And of course, I feel like I always want to smell good.
So my favorite summary sentence are the Dulcane Gabana Lumpere trees, literally my favorite
of all time.
So good.
I remember the first day I smelled it at Sephora and instantly went to the checkout line and
like, yeah, I'm getting this. It smells just so fruity and good. Another good one is the Gucci flora. That's
amazing. Another good summer one is the way Melrose plays, and I just think that one is perfect for some summer
sense. Oh, I forgot to also mention this. For what I'm wearing this summer, cowboy boots are the
cutest thing to pair with a classy little dress. Definitely invest in some good cowboy boots.
Again, I talked about skincare and everything earlier, but if you're wanting a sun kiss,
No makeup makeup look. I recommend getting a good bronzer. My favorite is from the clay palette from
tart. I feel like those have really good bronzers and I just love the glossier clap paint.
That's my number one blush. I'll never go back. It just makes my skin so pink on my cheeks
and how could I forget? The Benefit 24-hour brow setter is so perfect to just set your brows,
making them look all brushed up and nice, just a nice bronzer, a nice blush, and a nice brawetter
is all you need this summer. Okay, another thing is if you're one to want to be booked and busy,
and if that suits your needs, then be booked and busy. Plan a brunch with a new friend. That would be
fun. Start Pilates class. Volunteer somewhere. Start filling your spare time with experiences that you'll
remember instead of just sitting and watching TV or looking at your phone all day. And if you want to
spend your day watching TV all day and going on your phone, that is totally fine and how you want to
spend your time. But honestly, I can't remember what I looked at my phone last week or even today.
Like honestly, I remember all experiences and all things I do in the real world rather than anything
I see on TV or my phone. Fill your spare time with experiences and things that you will
actually remember. To wrap this up, I just want to say some things that you just need this summer
and starting off, it's an ice roller. I love my ice roller so much. You know I use her every single day.
Literally my favorite, depuffs my face and I just love it. Along with cuticle oil, it hydrates my nails
so, so much. Of course, as I said, a simple modern tumbler, so needed. You need to get a five-minute
journal, it will help you so much, or if you don't have a five minute journal, just copy the same
writing prompts and write in your journal the same things. Get a new cute pair of hot girl walk shoes
and a cute little new workout set for your hot girl walks and your workouts. It's going to make your
workouts feel so much better. And I just order the cutest pair of new balances that I am so excited for.
And I will show you guys very soon. They're so cute. But they're supposed to
come in like a month. So I'm praying. They ship sooner though. Along with headphones, I have
been using my dad's headphones so much because I don't even have a pair of headphones. Correction,
I mean wireless headphones. Get a good pair of wireless headphones. I only have wire headphones
and they're great, but when I work out, I can't just like have my phone in my hand. So wireless
