Hello, my love. Welcome to the Busy at Pretty Podcast. I'm your host, Jaden Haley, and I'm so happy you're joining me today because we are in need of a good chat. And I feel like Mondays or whenever you're listening to this, it just is the perfect time of the week to detach from our stressors and just, you know, get together as a community. But I'm so happy you're here. And if you're new to the show, welcome. We talk all about self-care, self-love, and ultimately becoming the best version of you.
Today's episode is going to be on the perfect way to easily manifest in your everyday routine
that is not difficult. I feel like we know a lot of ways to manifest or hear ways to manifest,
but it just feels too overwhelming, too difficult. And let me just tell you, I know how to help you
with this because I struggled with this myself. So we're going to talk about the perfect way
you can manifest in your everyday routine without putting in all the work that is both easy
and effective. But before we get into that, let's get into our weekly review. This week, I had a pretty
up and down a week, and I had some unexpected changes of things going on in my life. And it's very easy when,
you know, things go wrong in your life and things happen. It can feel so down and you can feel like,
no, this can not get any worse than this or how did this happen? This isn't meant to be. But one of the
best things you can do for yourself that I have been doing, that I have,
always preached and lived by doing because it really does help.
But to think this is not rejection, this is redirection, or if this thing happened in my life,
this is not happening to me, but it's happening for me.
So anytime something goes wrong in your life, don't accept it and receive it as a negative,
but think how is this going to be a positive?
Look at it as a positive and think, this is one day going to be something I look back on
and think, oh my gosh, thank gosh this happened because it will.
wouldn't have brought me to where I was really meant to be or what I was really meant to have.
So really just trying to live by that this week.
Another thing this week is I have spent time with my parents, which is so nice.
We went to some fun cafes.
And I am just really wanting to live out my summer intentionally with actual personal goals.
I talked about this, the last episode.
And I talked about how I really, and I think we all should collectively be not only working
towards our career goals, but becoming the best version of ourselves.
So our personal goals and also just having personal experiences that we want to remember.
Lastly, this week is I am still trying to plan my Nantucket trip.
I feel like I'm someone who plans very much ahead, but within it comes to trips,
I plan so last minute and that is my little problem and I need to dive into it and
figure out where I'm going and everything.
So if you have any East Coast town wrecks, let me know for the summer because I'm thinking about going back to Maine while I'm in Nantucket or going to Newport, Rhode Island.
But give me all your wrecks because I would love to know where to visit and where to stay.
And lastly, is I have just been enjoying my summer and taking things day by day as it comes.
Now into the crab session.
My current obsession at the moment is plating my food really pretty.
I love just like not even the cooking aspect, which I do love cooking, but I love the plating aspect.
I think plating my like morning yogurt bowl or oatmeal, it just looks so pretty.
And if I make some salmon and quinoa, I'll take time to plate it really pretty.
But speaking of plates, I did a lead tester, like testing swab on almost all of my dishes and tell me why more than half of my dishes came back positive for lead.
I am mortified and horrified, and this isn't just even thrifted pieces because I know
thrifted items tend to have a bad rep when it comes to being high in lead.
But these are ones that I thought were trusted brands.
So I am shocked.
I posted a video of me doing it or a video of it on my Instagram.
You can kind of see the swabs.
But anyways, I'm mortified.
And if you haven't done any lead testing on your dishes, I really recommend.
you do so. Another current obsession at the moment is French tip pedicures. I think there is nothing more
gorgeous when it comes to a pedicure than a French tip. I just think it looks so classy and so clean.
And lastly right now, my current obsession is layered golden white jewelry. I think gold jewelry is
always just the perfect summer jewelry and year long round jewelry. But I also think when it's layered
with like a white jewelry piece. It just looks so clean and classy, especially in the summertime.
Now to the goal of the week. My goal of the week right now is to donate things I do not need.
I am someone who just is a natural hoarder. I love things and I always put a memory or a reason
why I could use something or need something. And that's something I'm really trying to work on
because I feel like even if I had a mansion in the biggest house of all time,
I still find a reason and way how to fill up my entire house.
So I'm trying to figure out how I can declutter and just manage a more minimal style of stuff
and not having so much things.
But I kid you not, sue me.
A girl loves things.
I love just dishes, which I definitely had to clean out once I did the lead test.
but I just love things and I know I cannot be the only one.
Another goal of the week right now is to find a non-caffeinated beverage I really like as much as
matcha which I do not think I will ever find but I'm on a hunt because I love matcha
and don't get me wrong and like it's my world but the thing is I love it so much that I
can't limit myself to a one matcha a day or I can't limit myself.
to just a regular macho without piling extra extra matcha in and for two reasons one because i'm really
caffeine sensitive and even matcha my heart is racing but um also because i've had kidney stones in the past
and i don't want the oxalates to contribute to the kidney stones and stuff i don't have it right now
as of now but um i do run and my family have genes of kidney stones and i used to drink a lot of
macha and I do think that's what prompted my kidney stones a lot. So I am trying to just lay off it
a tad bit and limiting myself to maybe four machas a week. Lastly, my goal with the week right now is to do
daily walks in between the day. And I know that's kind of like a luxury. So even if you work a day job
and are at the desk all day, whenever you have a break, maybe go on a walk outside the office.
or let's say you're someone who works from home.
It's super easy just to stay in and, you know, staying in your pajamas, not go out.
But it's really important to get a walk in.
So I'm trying to just go outside and get a little even a five to 10 minute walk in between my breaks.
And I found that been really helpful.
Now on to the affirmation.
This is the summer I finally find myself in what's meant for me.
I love that affirmation so much and I really recommend affirming that to your
self. Now on to your self-love question of the week. What am I lucky to have in my life that I take for
granted? I love that question so much because it's the perfect way to reflect and practice gratitude.
Sometimes there's so many things in our life where we can't even imagine or don't think of what if we
didn't have that in our life. And just to think how grateful we should be at that moment to have it,
that's as simple as water or safety or a roof over your head, a bed to go to sleep on.
Just the simple things in our life that we take for granted for is something that is truly a necessity that you really should be grateful for and reflect on.
Now and to your challenge of the week.
Begin a new supplement routine that supports your needs this summer.
I love that so much.
And of course food is one of the best ways to get your vitamins in.
But sometimes we need to add in supplements that actually like help support maybe something we're low on.
and whenever I get my blood taken, it's kind of when I re-evaluate that because I don't get my blood
taken often. I'm really nervous to. But whenever I do, it's kind of when I start a new supplement
routine to see what I'm lacking on. One of the things I was was B-12, and that's what I wonder
if it caused my syphil neuralgia alongside stress because it says that B-12, not having enough of it,
can cause neurological issues. So I always wonder if that had some.
something to do with it, but I do think that my simple neurology is stemmed from stress.

But you have the control to create the life that you want. And I know it's much easier said than done.
And when I say that, it's not also just la-di-da, you know, you make $15 an hour.
you can't just quit your job and then go move to a different city and buy a mansion.
You really have to think things out.
But the good thing is, is that you have time and the universe is on your side, the world is on
your side, even when it feels like everything is working against you.
In reality, it's working for you and you always have to remember that.

Without further ado, it is time to get into today's episode, which I am very excited for.
this is an episode where I have kind of spoke on this in the past about how to manifest, but I feel like
we're busy. We're living our life and manifesting, especially if you're new to it, can be hard and
feel like too much and you can't do it. So today's episode, we're going to talk about the perfect
way to easily manifest in your everyday routine without putting in all the work that is both
easy and effective. And I promise you you can literally manifest your vision board. I'm honestly
looking so forward to this episode, but let's get straight into it. So you probably heard like scripting
is the best way to manifest or reading law of attraction books, affirmations, vision boards, etc.
As I do fully agree with those things, I do those do agree those definitely help. Those also can be
very overwhelming for many people, especially people who have a nine to five or go to school and
have daily chores and activities, which is the majority of us.
So a lot of us don't have time to script or vision board or, you know,
read all of attraction books.
So while this definitely can work, there are great methods that feel less intimidating
that you can manifest as effectively as a beginner that are easily incorporated into
our rituals and daily routines.
Let me remind you that you are manifesting every single waking second of your life.
And this is not as intricate as you think because you think of manifestation or law of attraction.
You instantly think of this whole system.
And yes, it is sort of a system.
It's like ask, believe, receive.
There are ways that aren't so detailed and so overwhelming as you think it is.
And that's why I kind of want to let you know that you are manifesting every second.
And this is not too scare you because as someone with OCD, I've had to realize that,
that thoughts that pop into my head mean nothing and are useless unless I give it power.
So if you're someone who is very overwhelmed or someone who thinks negatively usually or
is someone who instantly has like thoughts come into your head, I have really extreme health
anxiety and death anxiety. So my OCD is always making me believe I have something or believe
something. And that's something I did have to realize is, is that, you know,
thoughts that we have are intrusive thoughts and we think so many things, whether we want to think them
or not. So don't believe in your head that every thought that you have is manifesting something.
It's not. Things that manifest are things that you give power. So your thoughts manifest into your
life. But it's not just your everyday thoughts. It can be your thoughts of, you know, I want this car.
So you're not going to think, oh, that's a cool car and you're going to manifest that car. But if you think,
oh, I want this car and then start putting time and effort into thinking you have this car,
believing you have this car, feeling those feelings, that is when you'll manifest that car.
It's not when you get a thought of, oh my gosh, I'm so scared I'm going to be hit by a car.
You're not going to be manifest getting hit by a car.
So don't let that bring pressure to you thinking that all your thoughts will manifest things.
But when it comes to manifestation, think of it this way.
the things that you give power to of your thoughts is what will manifest. If you want to manifest that
job that you dream of, you can't just want it and do nothing. You cannot want something and sit
on the couch thinking it's going to appear to you one day. That's not how manifestation works.
As much as I wish I could just be like, oh, I wish I had a million dollars. Boop in my pocket in my hands
right now in my bank account a million dollars. It's not going to be at the palm of your hands.
okay, you have to put action and power into it. That's where manifestation comes from.
Give the thought power, believe you have it, take your free will of action and that's where
manifestation happens. If you want to manifest that job, don't sit on your couch and wish you had it.
You need to give that thought and desire power. You get up and apply for that interview, then you
go to the interview and that's taking action because in order to manifest, it's thought paired with
action.
You can't wish to win the lottery and not buy a ticket.
I heard this from a movie called Eat, Prairie Love.
It's on Netflix right now, and I thought this was so true.
I think I'm reciting this right, but it says,
an Italian man in Italy would pray constantly to a statue of a saint,
and he would pray every single day just wishing to win the lottery.
So he'd prayed to the statue and say,
please let me win the slaughtery.
I need the money, let me win the slaughtery.
then one day the statue actually talks back to him and says,
please, please buy the ticket.
And I think that is something so important to remember is you have to take action on the opportunity right in front of you.
You can't wish to win the lottery when you haven't even bought the ticket.
So you can't wish to have this dream job when you haven't even applied.
You can't wish to have that car you want if you don't even have your license.
You can't wish to have a healthy, strong body when you don't wish to have a healthy, strong body when
you don't work out or do any movement. Stop wishing for something that you're not taking any action
towards. Manifestation, as much as we think, oh, we think and we believe and it comes true, yes, that happens,
but it happens when it's paired with action. So give the thought power. You're not going to get power
and thought into when you think of, oh, I'm so scared to get in a car crash. You're not going to go
out of your way to think, oh, I'm going to go stand in front of the street to get in a car crash. You're not going to do
that. What you're going to do is put power and action into what you do want. So that dream job of
yours, that dream car, whatever you're wanting, that is where you're going to put the thought,
the action, and the effort into it. Sometimes the path is the initiation right in front of you.
Like I said, we have free will. In order to manifest, you need to pair mentality of a positive
thinking with your free will. So you want to manifest getting an A plus on
a test, start studying. I personally love to think of manifestation and law of attraction like the
ocean. Go with the current, not against it. Why would you try to fight against it and run the other way
when you're trying to flow with the current? You can't be wanting to get stray days and never study.
You go on your phone and you scroll. You hang out with your friends and you don't put any time into being
productive towards achieving that goal because you're running the other way.
If you want to achieve it and you want to cross the finish line by achieving that goal,
feeling like that's the finish line, you have to run towards the finish line.
Stop running away from it.
And that goes for everything for your goals to manifest because truly when it comes to manifestation,
we kind of look at everything like a goal.
And in order to achieve that and in order to get that,
You have to go in that direction.
You can't walk away from it.
What I'm trying to show you is a manifesting doesn't require you to script or to meditate
every morning or to, you know, read a ton of law of attraction books.
To be honest, all it really takes is these simple methods if you put your full effort into
it and you're giving the thoughts that you want the right power and effort.

mentality which is a little more difficult to manage because we're human we you know we'll drop our nine
dollar coffee and our day feels ruined or we fail a test and then our day feels ruined or we
have a rude customer and then our day feels ruined we allow things very easily to ruin our day
which is totally fine totally normal but the thing is we have to stay.
stop being a victim in our own life. As much as you may be a victim and may feel like a victim,
you have every right to feel the way you do and your thoughts and how you feel are valid.
Things truly may happen to you or may have happened to you where you are a victim and you
deserve to feel the way you do. But the thing is, for your own good, try to leave this victim
mindset in the past and start feeling like the winner in your own life. You have to change the
narrative. Stop looking at yourself as the weak person who's the victim. Even if you were truly a victim
in your life from something, stop looking at yourself as the victim. Think of the power that you have.
Think that you are the driver in your life. You have control of the wheel. As much as it feels like life
has control of us or someone may have control of us. Nobody has control of you except for you.
You drive the car. Stop allowing your fears.
and the opinions of others, other people to be the Uber.
Okay, stop being in the passenger seat.
Take control of the wheel.
I'm one to talk since I don't have my license.
But this is a metaphor.
But take control of the wheel as your life and start going the direction that you want to go.
You know deep down the direction of where you want to be in life.
Nothing is too good for you.
You deserve it.
You deserve every single thing you want.
you can't sit around waiting for it to come to you or you can't sit around thinking,
oh, well, that lifestyle is too good for me.
It's not meant for me.
I'm not someone who could be, you know, living a very comfortable, rich life or a happy life.
I don't deserve it.
No, guess what?
Every single person wants that.
And the people who put their effort and time into it will get that.
Okay.
You deserve to be happy.
And trust me, you can be doing a lot of things and still maybe not feel happy.
or content or things still are going wrong in your life.
But I promise you, look and imagine the life you want.
Look at it every single day.
Imagine it.
Manifestation also comes from imagining what you want.
Imagination is so strong, creating stories in your head.
Think of times where you've created a full story in your head and that thing actually happened.
I know for me it does, but for you it can happen as well.
be so detailed of what your life to look like.
Think of the trips that you want to go of.
Think of the house that you want to live in.
Think of what you want to wake up to every morning.
You know, think of how you want to feel.
Feel those feelings, feel those emotions as if you already have it.
And I promise you the magnetic field will draw you to those things.
And you're going to think, oh my gosh, those things that felt so unrealistic that I really believed in are actually my life.
now. Sometimes, and this happened to me a lot, we don't even realize we have what we were manifesting.
Sometimes we look back and think, oh my gosh, wait, that one thing that I tried manifesting I actually
got and why do we think this? It's because we were already feeling these emotions deep down in us
before we even had it. When I lived at home, I really wanted to live in L.A. and live in a high-rise.
so in my little bedroom at my parents' house,
I would always just think of I'm opening my windows
and instead of saying what I was actually seeing outside my windows,
I was seeing beautiful city high rise, okay?
And that's all I wanted.
I literally, you can even go back to my YouTube channel
and my intro from years ago.
I had someone draw me up like an intro
where it was like a city as the background of my room.
And that's not really what the,
background or the backyard of my room looked like, but it's what I wanted it to look like. So I really
just imagine those feelings and guess what? I now wake up to that exact look every morning. I see the
city. I'm in a high rise. And that's something you do need to think about is when you want something,
you have to imagine it. And when you imagine it so deeply and feel those feelings is when it will
subconsciously manifest into your life and it will happen. And you're not even going to realize that
you have it yet when you have it because you've already imagined it so much at your mind that
it felt like you already did feel the feelings as if you already have what you want train your mind
to also not look at the glass half empty but start looking at life as glass half full of course much
easier said than done but that's something to really be conscious of and mindful of because that's
also going to help your outlook on life and help you more just live with a positive mindset
also realize that we will get challenges, you're going to get challenges in your life and bumps in the road,
but because we are human, we're living, and we're living something called life.
And let's be real, the majority of us are too busy to do the classic rituals,
like what I was saying earlier about the scripting, mood boarding, vision boarding, and all of that,
which is where you need to put your full effort into your mindset and taking action.
With your mindset, do not be successful.
scared if you have a bad day and negative thoughts or a bad week. Don't think, oh my gosh, I had a bad
week or I had negative thoughts. This erased all my good progress of thinking positively or doing
positive things. No, you could have the worst day, the worst mindset, and the worst week. It's not
going to set back all your progress. You can't think of it like that. You can't be hard on yourself
thinking and just like beating yourself up for every little thing we do. You're human.
happen, but what you need to strive for and aim for is being able to have something happen
and moving on. Okay, you had a bad week, okay? You're not going to dwell on it and think,
gosh, I ruined all my progress of thinking positively and now I have this horrible bad week and
now I'm going to have to restart all my progress and nothing good is going to happen to me.
No, you're going to think, okay, I had a bad week and next week is something going to be
so much even better because I had to have this bad week in order to have a bad week in order to have
a really good one. Change the narrative in your mind. You have to because our goal is to have a
resting positive mindset that doesn't involve being so cautious and mindful of every thinking positive
thing. We want to just be able to have a resting mind that naturally looks at life half glassful.
Something good to think about is what you want in your dream life and your dream version of
yourself, understand that it will come, but in the meantime, work on mindfully changing your
perspective on life. You need to start being grateful for everything in your life. The good, the bad,
the ups and downs. Start viewing mess ups and accidents and things that you, you know, mess up
in life as lessons and start viewing rejection as redirection. Because if you constantly think about
the past and wish you did something differently, you'll never know and find out what's meant for you
because you'll be so focused on the past. If you want a future and if you want your dreams and
desires to come true, you have to let go of your wishing you did things differently,
wishing if something was different, you have to just start moving forward. It is so easy to dwell.
There's things that I have been like, oh my gosh, I swear, I, if I, if I, I,
only did this, I would have had this. If I would have only done that, I would have gotten that.
And I look back now, I'm like, oh my gosh, thank gosh, I didn't get those things. And it led me to a right
direction. You will never know your future if you always dwell on the past. Focus on the now and find
contentment with what you have now because you have the confidence in yourself that you know deep down
that you will have the life you envision one day.
Because you know that and that's drilled in your head,
you're going to allow yourself to enjoy every stage of your life.
Okay, another thing is get excited about what you want.
If it feels fun and not a chore,
I really recommend creating a Pinterest board
to just, you know, kind of like frame out
what you want your future to look like.
You don't even have to do future as in like 10, 20 years.
Maybe shoot for,
in the next two to five years what you want to look like or even like one to three years.
Start also beginning to think about all the things that you want to do in life and want to experience
and having those list of things on paper can really be helpful so we can kind of see,
okay, maybe what should I do this year? What should I do this summer? And it helps kind of like
section them out and organize them. Another thing, like I said, don't harp on having it not right now.
when we don't have something right now, our urgency to have it right now, right then can be so strong.
And we think, oh my gosh, my life is falling apart.
I just need that right now.
But sometimes we don't have the option to have that right now.
So like I said, fix what you can in your environment, whether that's your home, maybe your
stress, your school, your work life, whatever it is.
Fix what you can and work towards what you want.
Another thing like I mentioned a little bit ago, but believe you have.
it and feel those feelings, that is something that I really live by. And one story I love is
Ed Mylett, who always talks about love attraction and manifestation. I really like his podcast.
He's one of my favorite podcasters. I used to listen to him a lot when I was like waking up at
5 a.m. every day and like taking cold showers. But then I realized that was like too stressful on
my body. So I kind of leaned off of that yelling approach.
He's very, you know, Tony Robin's style of preaching.
Love him, though.
And something he said that I think is so important for people to think about is he, when he had,
like, no money, he even said he would shower in his, like, apartment pool because his water
wouldn't work.
And he just did not have overabundance of money.
That is for sure.
But something he would do is there was a hotel he really wanted to stay out one day.
and he thought to himself, I want to be a regular at this hotel.
I want to be someone who always stays at this hotel.
So he said he would always just go into the hotel and walk in as if he's staying there.
And he would just feel those feelings as if he is someone who's staying at this hotel.
He's walking in like he's going to go go to his room.
He's going to go unpack his bags.
But really, he wasn't staying there.
He just would go into the hotel and feel those feelings as if he did.
Now he has manifested that.
life and stays at that hotel regularly. He's a regular. And that just goes to show is when you really
feel those feelings as if you have it, maybe you need, you want this dream car. You need to go to the car
dealership, walk past that car, go sit in it. Feel as if you really own that car. See how you like it.
Think, where am I going to go drive this car? Don't really drive it out of the dealership. But think those
feelings, feel those feelings and emotions as if you already have it. And that is one of the
best ways you can manifest something that you want. And most importantly, when it comes to manifestation
is take the first step. Initiate it. Initiate this dream ready to happen. Okay. Think the thought.
You thought the thought. Now take action towards it. Flow with the current. You want a Bentley.
Your first step is to get your license. You want that dream job. Start applying.
Take the first step in the right direction. And have faith in yourself.
Don't put your dreams and goals on a pedestal.
You need to bring them down to your level and know deep down in your soul and in your heart
that you are meant to have that lifestyle and you are meant to have what you want.
Never forget that life unravels as it should.
So if you're rejected by something, remember something better is coming.
Just keep flowing with the current.
