Starting point is 00:00:00 Hello, my love. Welcome to The Busy Yet Pretty Podcast. I'm your host, Jaden Haley. If you're new here, welcome. I talk all about how to become the best version of you, routines, ideas, and honestly, everything just to enjoy our life because that's what life's about, is enjoying it, romanticizing it, and seeing what we can do in our day to wake up excited to live our life. I'm very excited about today's episode because this is something I have not touched on
Starting point is 00:00:35 as much as I would like to, and I think it's so important because, I'm someone who struggles with anxiety and stress, and I know you probably do as well, and many of the listeners do. So today we're going to do the Calm Girls Guide to Stress and Anxiety. It just is the perfect ways to manage your anxiety, manage your stress, and ultimately just embody that calm girl mindset. And let's be honest, like anxiety, stress, all that is not aesthetic. It's not. It's literally, and we don't need to make it aesthetic, but to me and my eyes, as someone who struggles with anxiety and struggles with stress and OCD and I have ADHD. Not to put labels on it, but I do. And
Starting point is 00:01:15 when you do struggle with it and you go to therapy such as myself and you do real life things to help, while they're not the most joyful aesthetic conversations to talk about, but it's real life. And if I can make having anxiety and stress something to romanticize, romanticize those habits, romanticize the person I want to be who doesn't have that stress and anxiety. Having those that toolbox and having those mindset and tips can really just be not only helpful, but so motivating to continue doing those things to help myself. So anyways, I'm very excited for today's episode. But before we get into that, let's go through our weekly review.
Starting point is 00:01:53 This week, I have just been really trying to stay intentional and present this summer. Like I said, I'm really just trying to enjoy every day romanticize the season because soon enough, fall is going to creep up and then summer's gone. And we always want what we can't have. so it's good to enjoy the present. And that's what I've been doing. I've been really just trying to swim in the pool every day and waking up early. I just have been loving those slow summer mornings. It makes me truly just feel like I'm romanticizing the season, and it just makes me so happy.
Starting point is 00:02:24 Now on to my current obsession of the week, my current obsession right now is a passion fruit over melons. I beg you, if you have any fruit this summer, get yourself some passion fruit and put it on top of melons. it truly just tastes so divine and so lovely. To me, it's truly the definition of a summer snack. Another current obsession right now is farmer's market hopping. I love trying new farmers markets, and I feel like there's so many, probably in your area that you could go to, so search up farmers markets near you,
Starting point is 00:02:54 and just go around, try different farmers markets, try different, like, bakery items and all those different things that they have there, and it makes you just feel so quality over quantity, if that makes sense. Sometimes they go to the grocery store and I just get all that quantity of stuff. And while I do love that and it's great because I need the groceries for the week, going to the market and just getting selective items can just feel so quality over quantity, which I really love. My last current obsession right now is getting 10,000 steps in a day.
Starting point is 00:03:22 I have just been loving walking. I just walk while I'm on my phone while I'm scrolling. If I'm going to doomscroll, trust me, I'm going to walk while I doomscroll. And suddenly I end up with 15,000 steps. day and I'm not complaining. Like I love it and it also just makes me feel good. Now moving on to the goal of the week. My goal of the week right now is to take a swim after every workout in the morning. I like to work out in the mornings, but I sometimes will do the afternoons instead. But whenever I work out, I'm trying to do a little swim afterwards. It just feels so nice and cooling to get in the
Starting point is 00:03:56 water after feeling all sweaty. Another goal of the week right now is to reorganize my pajama drawer. I'm dreading it. I feel like if you or someone who just has a lot of clothes, like myself, then you understand where once the drawer just doesn't open, you're just not going to open it. Because once you open it, Pandora's box opens. All the clothes fall out and then you suddenly cannot close the drawer again. So that's me right now. I'm wearing the same pajamas over and over until I finally tackle my pajama drawer to organize it. But that is a goal of the week to hopefully get that all organized.
Starting point is 00:04:29 My last goal of the week is to finish the puzzle I started. I got the cutest little farmer's market style puzzle. from TJ Max and I started it this week so my goal is to finish it. It's looking so cute so far. Now to the affirmation of the week, I am all I need to get through my hard times. I love that affirmation so much and I think it is so on brand for today's episode with anxiety and stress and that is so true because sometimes we've reached for a person, a habit or even an unhealthy habit to get through our hard time and it is so true that we really are all we need to get through what we are going throughout this time.
Starting point is 00:05:06 Now on to your self-love question of the week, how can I be there for myself when I feel most lonely? I just love that question and I really recommend journaling it to yourself. Now on to the podcast review, if you want to be featured on next week's episode and make sure to leave a podcast review
Starting point is 00:05:20 over Apple Podcasts and leave a rating over Spotify. This review says, Hey, Jaden, this episode is absolutely amazing. I adored it so much. Your videos and your podcast make me so happy and motivated. Can you please recommend me some fall, books and movies and shows that I can watch since fall is right around the corner.
Starting point is 00:05:37 And thank you so much for pinning my comments on your Instagram post. It genuinely makes my day. I love you so much. And once again, thank you for this podcast and changing my life. First off, I am so grateful for all your support and I'm so glad that you're loving the podcast and all of my content. But oh my gosh, do I have fall recommendations for you? I feel like I have so many that I don't even know where to star or so I promise you soon.
Starting point is 00:06:01 I'm going to have a full fall inspo episode. So stay tuned for that. I appreciate your support so much and I'm so excited to enter the new season with you. Now without further ado, it is time to get into today's episode. As I said, today's episode is the Calm Girls Guide to Anxiety and Stress.
Starting point is 00:06:18 So let's first begin talking about what anxiety really is. Anxiety is first off, not your identity. I really want to make that clear because it is so easy to label ourselves as someone with anxiety. I am anxiety. I have stress. trust me, I do myself. And we should all know what we have and we should all acknowledge it so we can
Starting point is 00:06:40 help ourselves. But at the same time, it does not need to be your identity. You are not someone who is stress. You are not someone who is anxiety. You may have that in your life, but that's not all you are. That's the smallest portion of you. You have so many amazing things about you. Don't let that be your identity. Anxiety is basically a way your brain is trying to protect. you. I am someone who is a scenario girl since I was younger. My OCD, I used to think, and I still do, all these scenarios in my head, and I run through it, and I play through it, and I just think worst case scenario. And again, it's your brain trying to protect you and set yourself up for protection from something from happening. I first want to say, we all have different types of
Starting point is 00:07:24 anxiety and different types of stress, and some definitely have it worse than others. Many people go to therapy for it or get medical help for it. But, anxiety can show up in all different ways and forms and you may have worse anxiety than your friend and your friend may have worse anxiety than her mom. If you are someone who has professional help with anxiety or stress or what you deal with, please remember to continue those healthy habits that they recommend you because those are what's going to help you the most. And this calm girl guide is just a general guide to help you through anxiety and stress that you may be having through your everyday life. So let's begin talking about becoming a calm girl. Being calm is a skill,
Starting point is 00:08:06 not a personality, just like I said how anxiety and stress is not a personality. Being calm is not a personality. It is in fact a skill. Creating peace instead of chasing it. It is so easy for someone who is just always stressed. Like I deal with chronic stress and I sometimes find myself chasing the piece and trying to figure out, okay, what can I do to make my life more peaceful when it's a right in front of me. It's not adding more things onto my plate, not looking for more things to add to my routine, but maybe lessening my routine. Having a smaller to-do list, having a smaller list of things to do on my plate, I want you to begin responding instead of reacting. Let's say you get a very stressful email or text. Your initial response is to react. Maybe your heart starts racing,
Starting point is 00:08:54 maybe you start sweating, maybe you start freaking out, you start texting everyone, oh my gosh, I can't believe this is the worst day ever, you start spiraling. And while it's so easy to begin reacting, when you get something that's said to you or something that bothers you, or just something in general that gives you anxiety or stress, instead of going to the point of reacting to it, which is our initial response, try your very hardest to intentionally respond rather than react. You can even talk to yourself out loud if you're alone and think, you know what, this is horrible news or this is awful and I literally feel lost.
Starting point is 00:09:29 right now, but we're going to move forward and we're going to take the next steps. Of course, it's much more easier said than done. But sometimes when you start these habits and breaking these unhealthy habits to reacting rather than responding, it can help ingrain those healthy habits where you being to actually start to respond being its second nature now to you. Another thing is, I want you to stop living in the future. anxiety lives in the what if. It's the what ifs. It's the scenarios. So stop with the what ifs and come back to what's true today. I will already be looking up my lifespan and all different treatment options for what I just self-diagnosed myself with after my arm started hurting just within minutes. So I am someone who jumps to the worst case scenario.
Starting point is 00:10:13 I think, oh my gosh, what is this pain I'm feeling? I need to go figure this out right now and I need to look up what diagnosis this is and I need to start treating myself immediately. I need to go get test done and if I only did that for every single thing in my life I swear I would have every single test done in the book the biggest thing that helps me is stop researching and stop laying the thought get to the next thought I it's so hard because when you're freaking out and you're nervous and you have anxiety you think what if what if it's so easy to get so hooked on the what ifs now you have this big scenario and this big dream in your head that's not even real so you have to come back to what's true instead of chasing it. When you start worrying and having those what ifs,
Starting point is 00:10:58 literally come back to what's true right now today and ask yourself, what is my situation right now? You're okay, you're fine, and also begin to focus on what you can control. What in your life right now can you control? When you don't have control of what you're most scared up and have the most anxiety of, just thinking of all the things you can control can be really helpful. And another thing that I find the most helpful is distractions. Start distracting yourself, whether that's putting in your earbuds, listening to a podcast, going on a walk, talking to a friend. Sometimes the biggest distraction for me when I have anxiety is literally talking to somebody. And then all of a sudden, you're in a conversation and your thoughts start to get lost and lost and lost, and all of a sudden,
Starting point is 00:11:41 you forgot what you were even worried about. Now, when it comes to leaning on to stress, I want you to start romanticizing a slower life. I romanticize in my podcast and in my life in general the that that girl aesthetic, that girl routine and just becoming the best version of you. But let me remind you that in all different stages of my life, it's always going to look different. I will never have the same routine my entire life. And I wouldn't want to have that because I'm always growing and evolving. I'm always changing. I'm always needing something different. Right now, I'm in a more motivated style where I'm like, wanting to have that full to-do list and I'm wanting to have all those to-does. But last year at this time, I was literally in the hospital. I could barely walk to the bathroom myself. I was in so much
Starting point is 00:12:27 chronic pain. And at that point, I needed to have a zero on my to-do list. I stopped my podcast temporarily and I needed that at that time. So I'm always going to need something different at all different times of my life. So having a slower life, if that's what you need right now, is not unproductive. It's actually so productive because it's helping you better fuel yourself to get more motivated and to get where you need to be. Also, a slower life in general is the goal. Like, is it not? Like for me, my dream life, like I'm really motivated and go, go, go right now. But my dream life, I feel like I'm working to have that life in the English countryside where I'm relaxed and I just have my macho on the front porch and my day consists of doing nothing but relaxing and just cooking, enjoying,
Starting point is 00:13:14 the farmers markets, walking around. That. That's my dream life. But when it comes to romanticizing a slower life right now for you, stop rushing everything. We are in such a rush. I feel like whether we're doing our skincare or watching our face, like when I wash my face in the morning, like where am I rushing to? I don't even have somewhere to go yet I'm scrubbing. My face is as fast as I can. When you're eating your meals, start chewing, slowing down, not looking at your phone, and eating intentionally and not shoving it in so fast because you have somewhere to be. If you know you have somewhere to be and you have somewhere to go, plan ahead. Make that time for yourself so you don't get in that position of rushing. Because doing that and constantly rushing and having your state of stress constantly in fight or flight does nothing but make your nervous system be so torn down.
Starting point is 00:14:08 by you constantly doing this. So start embracing slow mornings and intentional evenings and also build white space into your schedule. I know that maybe you want to be productive or you want to have lots of things to do or maybe you have lots of things you have to get done. But at the end of the day, having a non-stop schedule of something to do
Starting point is 00:14:27 every single hour of the day will do nothing but drain you and leave you burnt out. With the summertime, of course we have our goals, but we also have real life hanging out with friends, work or maybe even school and of course that takes up a lot of time but one of your goals would be starting a business so you may be asking yourself how can i have a business when i literally have a summer of plans to keep up with but let me introduce you to something that i love shopify it makes starting a business easy and has all the tools you need to launch and maintain your business from day one and whenever i use shopify websites it is so easy to navigate what i love most about it is their design and launch feature with shopify's templates and tools help your stunning site get up launched and running smoothly. If you've been following me for a while and listening to the show, you know, I'm trying to get rid of more polyester clothing and trying to prioritize having a full cotton, linen and just high quality clothing and home decor. And I have deep dived and found only very minimal brands who carry exactly what I'm looking for. And one of the brands I always wear in love is quince. They carry organic cotton, Mongolian cashmere, and high quality materials that feel so luxurious and chic.
Starting point is 00:16:16 But at the same time has great affordable options. They're literally priced 50 to 80% less than similar brands. Starting point is 00:16:38 That's Q-U-I-N-C-E.com slash busy. I seriously am obsessed with loan their dresses right now. I promise you you are going to love all their pieces. If you want to be consistent, you have to give yourself time to refuel. And if you're thinking, no, I literally have to get all these things done today by the end of the day. I guarantee you. I guarantee you. The world would not end if you didn't do those things today.
Starting point is 00:17:07 The world would literally still be here. Yeah, you may make someone mad or you may, worst case scenario, lose your job. Okay, but maybe that job wasn't meant for you. Or maybe let's say you get a bad grade procedure to turn your homework in the next. next day, but it's literally 4 a.m. and you're too tired and you can't get it done. That sleep at that point is more important than your homework. And also by letting yourself put down the pen and paper, you have to remember whatever you stop and call it quits on what you end up doing to allow yourself to rest. It doesn't mean you're going to suffer with it tomorrow. Remember, you can pick back up
Starting point is 00:17:42 tomorrow and if something was due that next day, communicate with that person and there's a chance that they will understand. What I'm trying to say is, no matter what, if you didn't finish everything by the end of the day, you're still going to be here. You're still going to be alive and the world is still going. So don't feel like this is the end of the world every day if you can't get everything done. There are times I've woken up and said, I can't believe my to do list. I have so much to do. I'm ready to throw up. I don't even know where to start. I've literally put like 20 different things on my to do list. And I end up feeling so overwhelmed by having a full to do list that I end up doing zero, literally zero. And guess what? The world still moved on. Tomorrow, I woke up the next day
Starting point is 00:18:24 and I was still here. Yes, I had to maybe write some people and say, so sorry, this is going to be turned in late. Maybe I still had a mess in my room in the kitchen that I now have to clean up today, but in the grand scheme of things, I still made it out okay. Just like you. If you don't get everything done, you're going to be okay. When it comes to regulating your nervous system, that is so important for both your stress and anxiety. Something that really helps just regulate your nervous system is daily movement. Daily movement, this can be walking, this can be in exercise. Just having daily movement is so important and I guarantee you you'll see an impact on your mental and physical health. Another thing is fresh air. If you're someone who spends most of their day inside, whether you're working inside or you're
Starting point is 00:19:09 in school, make an effort to go outside in the mornings, in the evenings to get some fresh air because it's so important to and better, there's no other better words for this, but touch grass. Literally touch grass. Another really good thing to regulate your nervous system is deep breathing and mindfulness. That's going to go such a long way. I know it's something that you don't physically see where if you're working out, you're going to physically see results in the mirror and you can't physically see results with breathing or mindfulness, but you will in your mental health and it will show. It's something where it's like you have to trust the process and the reward will pay off more than anything. And of course, sleep, nourishment, and hydration is so important as well. Make sure you're
Starting point is 00:19:52 getting at least eight hours of sleep, so set yourself up for success in the morning. If you have to go to work or school early in the day, then make sure you're going to bed early enough. Your morning routine always begins with your night routine. Make sure you're getting your electrolytes in and always have whole foods and your diet. Of course, you can have all your yummy snacks and desserts, all your chips, all your savory snacks, have all the things that you love, but at the same time, make sure you're nurturing yourself by having whole foods and healthy things you need to support your brain, your heart, your organs, everything inside you.
Starting point is 00:20:26 And when you do that, that's going to help your stress and anxiety. Having caffeine on an empty stomach is not going to help your stress and anxiety. That's going to exacerbate it. I always think it's so important to live by the 80-20 or 70-30 rule where 70 or 80% of the time you're eating whole healthy foods, and that 20 to 30%, that's the salty and sweet treats that you love so much, that don't necessarily have to be, quote, healthy. Something else that is so important that will make a huge difference on your mental health
Starting point is 00:20:56 for stress and anxiety is calming your environment. Make sure your room, your apartment, your home, wherever you live, is just set up for yourself to thrive in. Declutter any visual noise, so any just things pile. up on your desk or on your bed. Another big one is soft lighting. Make sure to have soft lighting and that's going to really help your circadian rhythm as well. So it'll help you go to sleep because if you have white bright lighting in the evening and it's 11 p.m. You're not going to feel tired because that is alarming your eyes and your body to stay awake. It's going to make you want to stay awake.
Starting point is 00:21:34 Another one is having calm music and a cozy space. So that's going to be for you to get cut up in the evening. Maybe if you have a TV in your room, put on some calming music, a calming podcast, and something to allow your body to relax. Overall, just create a space that feels peaceful to be in and where you can truly be at peace and not being in fight or flight mode. If you constantly have stuff all around your room and around your apartment, your body is going to be in fight or flight because it's stress and that procrastination of not wanting to clean is going to be present. When it comes to morning, your morning really does set the tone for your stress and anxiety. Don't check your phone.
Starting point is 00:22:13 First, that's the first and foremost thing. Do not check your phone when you wake up in the morning. Wait a while. Eat breakfast. Go outside. Do something, but check your phone. Another thing is get sunlight within the first hour of waking up. I know it can be hard depending on where you live and how sunny or how cold it is.
Starting point is 00:22:32 But go outside in general. Maybe it's going to be freezing cold. Feel that frigid feel on your. your skin and your face. It feels good. It wakes you up. And start your morning with one calming habit. Maybe that's doing a puzzle, journaling, reading a book. You don't need a full on morning routine that has a million different steps. That's too hard to follow. All you need is one calming habit and that one little thing can make a world of difference on your stress and anxiety for the day. Another habit that you can do throughout the day that can really be helpful is daily walks outside.
Starting point is 00:23:05 Like I said, for me, I've been doing the 10K steps a day, and it truly has made such a difference on my mental health. And I truly do feel it, and it makes me motivated to continue and stay consistent because I'm seeing the reward of feeling better. Another great habit is instead of doom scrolling, start reading, so picking up a book, or even a little hobby. Maybe you like needle pointing. Maybe you like coloring. Doing any of those things rather than doom scrolling. And of course, journaling your thoughts. I wake up with anxiety, some days are just way more than others because majority of times I wake up
Starting point is 00:23:40 and I am just perfect. I feel great. I feel happy. But sometimes I just wake up and I'm like, what was in my sleep last night? Because I just feel completely off. And I, even though I don't want to, I don't want to take the time to do this, I will literally just write a page of how my day is going to be, like a perfect day on page, pen and paper. And I truly feel so much better. And I start living out that day. I start feeling better. I start feeling like the person I wrote down on the page and I somehow subconsciously start leaving those thoughts behind of the anxiety that was built up when I woke up in the morning. When it comes to breaking the cycle of overthinking, it can be so hard, but I want you to just notice when you're spiraling. Like I said earlier, notice when all of a sudden your scenarios
Starting point is 00:24:27 go so deep and you're thinking, what if, what if, just begin notice when you're spiraling and separate facts from fears because many times we start embodying the fears so deeply where it feels like facts but start remembering what is the facts and what are my fears then ask yourself is this happening or am I imagining it because majority of the times our fear our anxiety or stress is imagined and maybe let's say you do have a lot of those things you have anxiety you have stress over things that are happening right now in your life sometimes the best thing that you could tell yourself, thank gosh, these are my only worries. And how deep now horrible, how hard your life may be, your stressors, your anxiety, or your current state of life, just thinking to yourself,
Starting point is 00:25:13 thank gosh, these are my only stressors can be one of the biggest things to help you realize that someone else does have it worse than you out there. And sometimes your problems, as hard as it may be, maybe isn't as bad as it could be. So trying to figure out where, you know what, I'm not at the bottom. I'm not at the worst as it could get where you're not going to get the shovel and continue digging and continue digging. You're going to stop and try to climb out of that hole, trying to figure out how can I get out of this hole? I know sometimes thinking of that can help a lot of people and hopefully that can help you as well. Start trying to accept uncertainty and let go of perfection. You need to be able to trust yourself to handle whatever comes. Anxiety and stress may never leave you,
Starting point is 00:25:57 but knowing all you need is yourself when times get hard and you don't need to reach for a person or an unhealthy habit to help you get through is when you officially know you've reached the inner peace of becoming the ultimate calm girl let's say you're out or alone and you're truly just having an anxiety attack or panic attack or just a stress attack having some tools in your toolkit can be so important that can be you having go-to breathing exercises breathwork can be so helpful. And I know everyone says breathwork, but truly it is science-backed. It really can do such a difference on if you're panicking, if you're stressed and have anxiety. Another thing is having a comfort playlist or a podcast, maybe go on Spotify, Apple, wherever you listen to your podcast and music,
Starting point is 00:26:44 and have a comfort playlist. Put a cute wallpaper on it, make it a cute title. And whenever you're feeling anxious, hop onto it. Have your earbuds and your purse always so you can just pop it in and listen to it whenever you do feel anxious. I want to introduce you to one of today's sponsors, Hinge, which is perfect since I know I've had so many questions as of recently on relationships and where to find someone with the same interest as you. Hinge is a dating app designed to be deleted. It's for people dating with intention, so going on dates, putting themselves out there. Hinge is designed for finding connections. So many of my friends actually met the loves of their life through Hinge. And what I love about it, it's all about intention for people who are actually trying to find connection in relationships to truly just find your person.
Starting point is 00:27:35 I personally am very selective when it comes to a partner in relationships. As you know, I would not settle for any less. So I love how with Hinge, it's designed to connect you to people who align to you and your lifestyle, which is so important when it comes to finding the right person for you. So if you're hearing this, this is your sign to download or re-download Hinge. If you're picky when it comes to the dating, I'd honestly just give it a love. because I've heard great things. And who knows, you may find the person you have been looking for. And lastly, one that really does help as well is journal prompts.
Starting point is 00:28:10 Have journal prompts prepared, even in your phone. So that can help you all of a sudden if you start feeling a certain way and you think, oh my gosh, I'm stressed out right now, you can instantly go to your notes app and know exactly what to write. Let's say your journal prompt has a few questions and it's going to say, how do you feel right now? So you just start typing to yourself how you feel. and the next question may be, what are the facts versus my fears? And then you write that down. But having those prompts when you're having that anxiety is perfect because you know exactly what to start writing,
Starting point is 00:28:42 instead of seeing a blank page not knowing what to write. And of course, reduce mental clutter. Just like our environment, we have to reduce our mental clutter. So brain dump everything. If you have lots going on your brain, write it down. If you have lots of ideas, write it down. it can be anything negative, good, whatever it is, get it out of your head so you could let it go from your brain. Because if we're storing everything in our head, whether it's to-do list, whether it's negative or positive, it doesn't matter. It's going to overflow at some point and we're not going to know what to do. So it's nice to just get it out and allow it to take a load off of our headspace. Also, prioritize only the essentials and stop caring tomorrow all throughout today.
Starting point is 00:29:25 If you're worried about something tomorrow, if you're worried about maybe a job interview, a presentation, or a surgery, whatever it is, stop carrying the stress of tomorrow today. Because guess what? It's not tomorrow yet. So just enjoy today. Another thing to maintain just positivity and happiness is find joy and little everyday things. So you gain your macha in the morning. You gain your coffee. Sitting down for breakfast. taking a swim, going to the ocean, seeing your friends, going on a little study date, or getting yourself fresh flowers, and spending time outside. Just small moments of gratitude, all those things are going to add up and help you be more conscious of positivity around you than seeking the negative and things that stress you out.
Starting point is 00:30:12 When anxiety and stress does feel heavy, I want you to remember not to judge yourself for it. Let those emotions just move through you because if you just push it to the back of your head, you're not going to feel at peace. That's why I say journal it. Get it out of your head. But let those emotions move through you and ask for support when needed. If someone you know knows that you suffer with anxiety, ask them, hey, do you mind if I talk to you about this for a little bit, something's bothering me. And if they have the space to be able to listen to you and they have the time, they have the bandwidth to listen, share it.
Starting point is 00:30:48 Share it. Get it off your mind and talk to them because I guarantee you. they may have a different perspective and help pitch in ideas on how to help yourself. And one of the most important things to just feel safe in that calm girl mind and just embodying that is keep promises to yourself. No, the moment you start getting anxiety or stress, you're going to reach for your playlist that you love or you're going to start doing some deep breathing. So keep those promises to yourself and build that trust through consistency and create routines
Starting point is 00:31:17 that actually feel grounding. And I want to end on a few questions that you. you can ask yourself when you do have stress or anxiety that comes up is what if it goes right? What if it all turned out right? That is one of the biggest ones I like to ask myself, what can I do right now to take the load off of me? That is another great one that can really help. And lastly, like I said earlier, which is one of my favorites, what are facts and what are my fears? If you struggle with stress or anxiety, you are not alone. I do as well and I guarantee you that everyone you know does as well.
