Hello, my love. Welcome back to the Busy Yet Pretty Podcast. I'm your host, Jaden Haley. If you're new here,
welcome to the show. We talk all about how to become the best version of you, motivation, and honestly,
just live your dream life. I am so happy you're here. And today we're going to have a very
motivating episode. So be ready to enter the new spring season. I feel like to me, seasons are just
the perfect way to have a fresh start and get back on track and on routine. And there is no better time
to do that than now because we're in spring whether or not it's raining, pouring, snowing,
or sunny outside, it is the perfect time to just enjoy spring and get into your new spring habits
and honestly just get back on track for spring. But before we do that, let's get into our weekly
review. This week I had my birthday tea party, which was so fun. I had a few my friends over and
I hosted a little birthday tea party and it was so nice. I love hosting.
I feel like we're all in our hosting era.
Nancy Myers, Ina Garden.
I know I say this all the time, but I feel like we're just entering our hosting era.
Another thing this week is I've been catching up because I've been really behind
and I'm also at the same time of catching up trying to focus on enjoyment.
Enjoyment in life is not just something that feels like you have to have like a chore.
It shouldn't be a chore.
It should be actually something that you want to do and want to enjoy life because it can feel like school
and work is our entire life when at the end of the day, it is not us. Work in school does not define you,
but what defines you is who you are and you also are here not to just work and do school your whole life.
Okay, you want to enjoy your life. So make sure when you're working or in school or throughout
your days that you're taking time to enjoy your life because that is our purpose. We're here to enjoy.
So basically what I'm trying to say is, of course, we want to feel motivated, but don't always just try to chase
the next school and try to think what can I enjoy right now? How do I enjoy where I'm at right now?
Even if it's not ideal or even if you don't like your situation where you're at right now,
there is always something that you can find to enjoy. Okay, also for this week is I've been in the
process of signing with a new podcast network, which I am so excited about, so excited about.
I've worked so hard for this and I'm just so grateful for all your support. So if you love the
show, make sure to leave a review and also leave a rating over Spotify.
And something that I appreciate more than ever that you guys do is share the show over your stories or over TikTok.
It truly helps just grow the show and I'm so grateful.
Okay, now on to the current obsessions.
My current obsession at the moment is hydrangeas and not just hydrangeas, but hydrangeas in a pitcher as a vase.
I feel like when you put flowers in a pitcher rather than a vase, there's something that's so clean and classy and it gives so much character by putting it in a picture.
so I really recommend trying that out. Also, I don't know what the difference between a vase and a vase is, but I'm going to search it up. Maybe it just is two different ways how you say it, but I love how Megan Duchess of Sussex says Voss. And I've also heard Ina Garden and Martha Stewart say Voss. So you're going to hear me saying Voss from now on. Whose vase? I don't know who she is. I only know who Voss is. Okay, anyways, another thing I'm currently obsessed with, speaking of Megan,
is with love Megan on Netflix. If you like having a very nature relaxing cooking type of show on
in the background while you're like cleaning or doing your work, with love Megan is so good.
It's so relaxing and I love to just like have it on when I'm doing stuff throughout the day.
And lastly, my current obsession right now is French style plates.
I think it's so beautiful with a French print like the toilet print or just any blues and flowers.
I just think it just makes a plate look so elegant and gorgeous.
Now into your goal of the week, or actually my goal of the week, but these can be your goals too.
Now unto my goal of the week is more outdoor time.
I feel like entering spring, we should all make a goal to be outdoors more because the outdoors
just help us connect with nature and also detach from our current stressors with school or work
or whatever you're kind of dealing with.
Another thing this week is I've been trying to look into having a Nantucket trip.
It is very pricey though to go to Nantucket or Cape Cod.
We all know that, but that is all I want to do this summer.
I just have a few days there, a week or more.
There would be ideal.
So I'm going to try to look into maybe a fun little trip I can take with my parents.
And lastly, for my goal of the week is to do more crafting.
Hands on crafting is so good.
I love to do baking and cooking, of course.
but I also love to do things like actual paper crafts.
I love to color and I really encourage you try doing that
because it gets you off your phone and allows you to be present.
Now to your self-love question,
what is your personal spring intention?
I love that question so much because in the spring, of course,
we set goals and we are going to set goals.
But I like using the word intention because it feels more direct
in thinking what are we intending to do,
not so much of a goal, but what is our intention?
what is our plan of what we are going to do?
Now on to your affirmation of the week.
I'm stepping into a new refreshed spring season meant for me.
I love that affirmation so much and I really recommend journaling that.
Now on to your challenge of the week.
Plan a fun outdoor spring activity for you and your friend to do
or your mom or your friend or whoever to connect and go outside and connect with nature.
That could be a picnic or a color walk.
If you don't know what a color walk is,
I really recommend you do it.
It's when you think of a color before your walk
and set an intention to seek out everything
with that color on your walk.
So it just is very eye-opening
because you wouldn't have realized it
without thinking of that color.
So maybe it's the color yellow you're looking for.
Okay, so you're going to look for everything yellow.
Maybe you're going to see a little yellow butterfly
or a yellow sunflower or a yellow flower
or maybe a yellow car.
It just makes you.
be more aware and very eye-opening. Now into the podcast review. If you want to be featured on
next week's episode, please leave a podcast review over Apple Podcasts. It helps the show so much,
and I also love seeing all you guys how you listen to the show. This review is from Layla,
and Layla said, I love this podcast. It makes me feel so calm just listening, opens my mind to
new methods to self-improve. Thank you so much, Layla, for your sweet review, and I just love how it feels so
calming to listen because we all love a little comfort thing to listen to. And I get so
flattered when you guys call me your comfort creator. I just love that. Okay, enough yapping.
Let's get straight into today's episode because we're not joking around. We're getting straight
into our spring reset. So today we're going to cover the perfect spring reset to a fresh start
and just getting back on track and back on routine. I feel like we get very motivated during
January and the new year. And then all of a sudden, February,
and March comes around and we're just like, okay, hold on.
We get in a slump and it's very normal if you're in a slump right now and that kind of
new year motivation we're off.
Trust me, it happened to me.
It happened to you and it happened to many other people.
But you don't need to get back full swing again.
All you need to do is know how to manage it better because, again, if we go all in really quick,
we're going to be very burnt out, tired, and it's just not sustainable for us to continue long term.
but the best thing you could do is get back on track by having a new spring routine, having a new reset, and just starting fresh, and going into this not guns blazing 100, but instead go into it, get motivated, but at the same time, you have to give yourself grace and balance because balance is the only way you're going to be able to have long-term results.
If you go all in, you're going to be burnt out very quick, and we want to be motivated and successful and happy.
most of all, and that comes with balance.
We can't just be all in 100 every single day,
or it's going to be done really quick,
and then we're back to square one
where we need this whole reset again.
So without further ado, let me just tell you.
First up, the best way to have a new mindset for the season
and feel refreshed is get clear with what you want
and make a Pinterest board or a mood board.
I feel like one of the best things to do is look at something visually
to think, what do you want?
Imagine it.
You have to see it.
So when you see somebody running a business or you see somebody going to a hot workout class,
it makes you kind of want to have that in your life and it makes you kind of want to reflect that
into your life.
So seeing that visually can really help motivate you to want to achieve that.
And like I say this many times before in episodes, but you have to have a why and a passion.
When you have your why and a passion is where the motivation comes from.
If you do not really want something in your life, why would you have the passion?
or the motivation to do it. You're not going to want to take action. You're not going to want
to get up and go do it because you have no passion to achieve it. I'm going to talk more about this
soon, but I do want to get into later on about what your purpose is and why you're doing something
and kind of realigning with what you truly want. But again, make a Pinterest board, make a mood board,
and that will get you excited and inspired for the new season. Something that is essential that you have to do
for your spring reset is let go what is holding you down from your happiness, your goals,
confidence, anything. Anything that is holding you down, you cannot bring into this new season.
This could be a person or a thing. It could be an unhealthy habit, whatever it is. But change can be
hard letting someone go out of our life or removing that unhealthy habit because we like it in our
life. But it can be the start of a new beginning. And the best way to have a fresh
start is letting go of what no longer serves us. And it's okay if things served us a year ago or a few
months ago or maybe even a few weeks ago. But if it no longer serves you, you do not need to
keep that in your life anymore. You don't have to be tied down to something. That's the beauty of
life. You're never tied down. If you're in a relationship that you've been in for eight years and
you thought you were going to get married, but you're like, you know what? This person,
I feel like I'm not connecting with them as much as I used to, and I feel like they're holding me down
from things or whatever it is, or maybe you're even married to them.
There's a ring or a promise or whatever it is does not keep you from being able to leave
and go do what you want to do.
Respecting somebody else is letting them go when you know it's best for you and them.
Or if you know someone is with you and they don't really want to be with you, but they're with you,
you can let them go because you love them and you want to set them free.
Same with an unhealthy habit.
It may be serving you in some way where, you know,
it brings you temporary happiness or maybe that could be watching TV
really late at night for five hours at a time.
Maybe it makes you excited at the moment watching TV.
But at the end of the day, you're waking up tired and unhappy and groggy
and you wish, oh, I wish I had more sleep and everything like that.
because the repercussions weren't worth the temporary happiness.
So really think what is serving you and what is not anymore.
And this can also be deleting apps that help your mental health
and following people that you know or creators that you compare yourself to.
You have to begin to distance yourself from the people who no longer bring you that happiness.
You should not be consuming content or being with someone in leaving every single time feeling drained.
You should feel uplifted.
if you're feeling drained and negative feeling after being with someone or consuming
consuming somebody's content or TV show or whatever it is, that's not right for you.
That's not for you.
It could be right for somebody else, but that person, that thing, is not meant for you.
You have to realize that what you consume will consume you.
If you're always consuming skinny talk or skinny TikTok what people say all day long and it's
affecting how you eat in the day and affecting how you view yourself in the mirror,
that's consuming you.
Those videos are consuming you.
So what you consume will consume you back.
I'm telling you that.
And I promise you that.
So you really,
really have to,
this spring,
look at your actions,
look at what you've been doing,
and remove things that no longer serve you.
Okay.
This goes for jobs and things also,
but jobs also,
you have to close a door to let a new one open.
If something is not right,
for you, let it go. Even if you are kind of, if you'll safe to keep it, let it go because it's
going to open something even better for you. When it comes... I can't be the only one who has this like
dream item of theirs that they always see whether it's a bag, a sweater, a top and you're like,

It comes to spring cleaning, not only do you need to spring clean your room or your house,
but you have to spring clean your mind.
So when you hear the term spring clean, don't let it just stick to being your room or your house.
skinning clean. Let it clean your mind as well. Okay, but when we talk about spring clean, though,
when it comes to our house or our room, let me tell you that when you have a clean space,
you're going to perform a hundred times better and will feel so much more organized.
I promise you that. When you have a clean space, you're going to be able to perform better,
think better, feel better, everything. So get down and dirty, go clean every crevice in your place,
go scrub the toilet, scrub the shower, clean out your sink,
get every little lint and dust in the cracks of your place,
because doing that is going to make you feel so refreshed when you actually feel clean.
Something about feeling clean also just gives you such a better mindset.
When you have an unorganized external environment,
meaning your home or your desk or your office space,
you're going to have an unorganized internal environment,
meaning your head, how you think.
So you really have to be more organized in all aspects,
and it's collectively going to help you perform and feel better.
And if you don't like cleaning or organizing, go put on some TV, put on the new With Love
making show on Netflix or some YouTube videos, or even put on a busy yet pretty episode while you clean.
You also need to enter the era of less is more.
I am guilty of more is better always.
I always just, I love collecting things and I have a hard time separating things from an emotion.
if I receive a gift from someone, I'm always like, oh, I love it because so-and-so got it for me.
And it was on this day and this occasion.
Or if I buy something, I always pair it with an emotional attachment.
And I'm really trying to not do that as much where I'm going to allow myself to let go of
things I don't need anymore.
So if I bought something before and I don't need it anymore, but I just want it, why do I want
it?
I have to really ask myself that.
And I'm guilty of this.
It's very hard for me to get rid of things because for some reason, I don't know.
always find a place for something. Even if I have to cram it in an area, I just, I feel like I just
need it. But try to remember that less really is more. And you want to enjoy your life, not feel
like you're hoarding everything. And that's just, again, going to make you have a very hoarding,
messy mindset. And we want to feel good about ourselves. We want to feel excited. It would want to
look forward to our goals and able to go off and enjoy our happiness, not feel bogged down by having
a ton of things. So remember that you do not need to keep everything and I am definitely working on
this like I said myself, but lean into quality over quantity. And of course when you do a spring
clean, always reward yourself. You always deserve a little sweet tree or a reward, whatever it is.
So reward yourself and get yourself some new flowers after cleaning. Try putting your flowers
in a cute pitcher instead of a vase or a mason jar maybe. Something just to jazz up your house and your
place to give it some character. And when it comes to a spring reset, it's important to realize that you
have to align with your intentions for the season. So getting back to intentions, which we talked about
in the beginning of the episode, but you need to sit down and think, what are my three intentions of
spring? What are they? And you have to write it out. Always everything is better on pen and paper,
but three priority intentions for spring. And one of them being an intention for your career in school or
work. The second one being personal. So an intention that's going to help your joy and increase your
happiness. That could be maybe finding a new hobby or working on something that you enjoy. And number three,
let that one be physical intention for your health. Maybe that's incorporating more greens or going
outside on a walk two times a week. But make sure those three are your priority. It's easy to write down a list
of things we want to get done. And of course, we all do that. We do that in the beginning of the year.
but again it can become so overwhelming and we think okay where do we start so instead of listing a million
different things and getting none done because you're so overwhelmed list out three intentions for the spring
one for career school work number two being for your happiness and your joy so personal intention
and number three for your physical health it's so easy for us to have a reset and set goals and
intentions for only school and career because we really feel like our work or school or our career
take up most of our time and it does like you may wake up and go have a nine to five and that was your
day your day was mostly taken up by something that was not personal it was something you have to do
which is work but it's so good to remember that work in school does not define you it is not
your life even though it takes up a good time of your life it is not your life we all have to
remind herself to prioritize our happiness and personal growth just as much as we prioritize our
work, career, and school growth. Another way to get refreshed for spring is reflect on our routine.
What works for you and what does not? Sometimes we just have to sit down and literally look at
what is holding us back and what is making us feel unhappy and think, okay, what is working in my
routine and what is not? Because when you are able to decipher that and figure that out, it's going to
help you and accelerate your routine, how you feel your career, so much more.
So maybe morning workouts you've been doing are leaving you feeling tired throughout the day.
Okay, maybe just go on a walk in the evening time.
Maybe your evening shift hours make you feel so tired.
So instead switch to morning shift hours.
Keep trying things out, play around and keep just trying out different routines until something
sticks.
And once it does, it's going to be so much more.
nicer, you're going to feel happier, you're going to feel better when you have a more organized
and set routine that works for you. Your friend's routine may not work for you. My routine,
maybe your worst routine and your best way that you work may be my worst way that I could work.
We're all different, so why are you comparing? We all have different sleeping schedules.
We all have different work schedules. So why are you trying to compare yours to somebody else's?
Also, I understand how spring resets can feel not exciting and very daunting when it's not summery and spring weather outside.
Because I just looked at the weather in New York and a few other places and it's chilly.
It's cold.
I'm like right now it's reaching 80s in California or in L.A. where I'm at.
and I understand if it is not warm in beach weather,
but the best thing that you can do is lean into it.
Have your spring routine,
but at the same time,
get warm and cozy in the evening with your hot chocolate if it's cold.
You have to lean into what you have.
We always want something we don't have.
It's hot outside, but I wish I could be in the snow right now.
And you may be thinking,
how would you ever want that?
But I do.
And instead, I have what other people want,
which is sunny outside.
So we always want what we can't have.
So you have to lean into what you do have to make it a little bit better for you.
And it's going to give you a much better time and it's going to make you feel better.
So again, if you do not have the spring weather right now and the birds are not chirping, it's cloudy and rainy.
That should not stop you from having a spring reset.
It does not need to be the perfect day for a fresh start.
Okay, that's another thing though.
Something that really changed my life a lot this past year is changing my mindset on something.
And let me just say, I want to bring myself back to reality for you guys and realize that even though I have this podcast and I inspire and motivate so many people, I still work on my things myself.
I literally am not perfect. Not one person is perfect. We're all on our different paths and journey and trying different things out.
I will have my down days. I will have days where I literally am bogged down with work and I think I cannot do this.
I literally can't do it and I hate everything.
I feel that way.
I am not perfect.
And you're not, your friend's not.
Nobody is.
And if someone's saying there is, I promise you they're not.
We all have our days.
But the best thing that you can do for yourself is know how to manage it better.
You don't have to have a perfect management skill, but you have to have something that's
going to make your day better.
So let me just give you an example of what I'm talking about.
So when it comes to the all or nothing mindset, I speak all about this, how
you have to stop having the all or nothing mindset that's only going to set you up for failure,
not success.
Because some days you're going to wake up and have the motivation to go all in and some days
you're going to wake up thinking, how can I even get out of bed today?
So you have to give up the all or nothing mindset.
Let's say your morning gets off to a rough start or you have a perfect day and then all of a sudden
you get a dent in your day.
Do not stop and give up your day and trash the rest of the day because of that.
dent in the road or because you had a bad start to your morning. It's easy to think, well,
I'm just going to be done with today and I'll restart tomorrow. I'll try again tomorrow.
Yes, that's true. You can try again tomorrow and you can't have a fresh start tomorrow.
But why not start right now again? You can literally start again right now, midday, whenever.
You can start again in the evening and have a good rest of your day, even though you had the worst
day ever. You can change your life around in an instant. And there's so many times people who
had the worst day of their life and changed their day. And in a matter of minutes from changing their day,
their day got a million times better and turned out to be the best day they've ever had.
Wouldn't you rather get some progress out of your day than no progress at all? You could also
have the worst morning of your life and then turn it around and have the best afternoon of your life.
And then you'll be smiling at the end of the day asking yourself,
what if I didn't try?
What if I just gave up right after I had my hard morning?
Seriously, I want you to think about that
because at that moment,
the hardest thing you could do is change your day around,
but let me tell you something that's even harder.
It's sitting in bed and giving up the rest of your day
and just thinking I'll start again tomorrow.
Start again right there and then.
You can have a fresh start right now, when you decide.
If your year is going horrible,
don't wait until 2026 to have a new year.
Start now because you may have an amazing rest of the few months of the year.
Anyways, I live by that, removing the all or nothing mindset.
Of course, I'm guilty of it.
I accidentally fall into it a few times throughout the month, but you're going to.
It's human nature for us to think, oh, my day's ruined, the rest of the day is ruined.
But instead, stop where you are.
You have to stop it in the tracks and create a new rest of your day for yourself.
Okay, for your spring reset, of course we're locking into motivation and our goals,
but you cannot forget to have unplug days.
So what I mean by unplug days is absolutely unplugging with no phone, no TV, spending time on your own.
That could be skincare or honestly, my favorite thing to do is go out to nature because you're feeling so connected and grounded and not with so much artificial light in your face.
Maybe have a picnic.
Go outside, read a book, have an unplug day.
And you can schedule this maybe on a weekend or a day that you don't have work.
and truly make a promise to yourself not to go on any social media or even better not on your phone at all.
Okay, but when it comes to actually getting up and locking in,
remember that you will never regret working hard and getting it done.
You will never regret a workout.
You'll never regret finishing your homework because then you have your evening.
You can watch a show then.
You'll never regret getting things done.
And I promise you that.
Procrastination is so easy to fall into.
We all do.
I fall into procrastination.
Your friend does.
You do.
We all do.
It's, again, a human nature habit.
We all do it.
But the best thing you could do is realize that you will never regret getting it done.
So once it's done, it's done.
You can put it out of your mind.
But procrastinating it makes it be even in your life even more.
You're going to be thinking about it, waiting and dreading on doing it.
Then you still have to do it at the end of the day.
If you have to do something, get it done right there and then.
So stop looking for excuses and just start.
The hardest part is starting.
But once you start, it's then a smooth or smoother path from there.
I want you to enjoy your days and enjoy your life.
And I want you too.
I feel like we all have pretty poor work balance or maybe our work balance.
And what I mean by work balances, it doesn't mean you need to be on your computer or working actually.
But a bad work balance can also be stressing about work and procrastinating.
whether you have a bad schedule with how you do your work or how you maintain your daily life chores and task.
There's something missing from your life and your routine and that's schedule.
You have to have a good schedule and feel organized.
And again, when your external part of your environment is organized, your mind is going to be more organized.
But like I said, you deserve to enjoy your days.
You deserve to lock in and work hard for you.
For you.
So you deserve to have a break when you need it.
You don't need to earn a break.
If you are tired and need a break and have the ability to go take a break, take a break.
You have to because you're just going to keep running on 1% low battery,
then giving yourself a little fuel, a little recharging to work better from there.
But when it comes to enjoying life, when I mean an actual break,
I don't necessarily just mean a 15 minute nap sometimes.
I'm talking about you need to give yourself unplug days.
So your 90-year-old self, she would do anything to be in your position right now.
Do you realize when you are bedridden and you are older and that time has come around,
you're going to wish that you could have gone back.
You're going to wish that you enjoyed your life a little bit more.
You're going to wish that you made better connections with people.
You're going to wish you didn't let certain people in your life who were holding you down.
You're going to wish that you didn't let the opinions of others pull you down.
You're going to regret so much stuff.
And the worst thing you could have in life is regret.
And even if you make mistakes in life, I still believe you shouldn't have regrets.
But something that's going to weigh on you is regret if you don't live for yourself right now.
So of course, I always preach, and this is what a spring reset is, is work hard.
But in the spring reset, I'm really trying to drill it in you to understand that you have to give yourself personal growth and personal
love and not just work for your career in school because of yes we want to succeed in that we want to
make money we want to live in our dream house have our dream life but at the same time we want to be
happy why do you want a dream house why do you want a private jet why do you want a good group of friends
why do you want all these things that you want to feel happy you want fulfillment and joy
at the end of the day we want things because we know it's going to make us happy but the thing is
once we reach those things, we're always going to be reaching for the next thing.
So we have to, we have to figure out things that are going to make us happy that are free of charge
and do not correlate with work or school and be measured by that because sometimes we may not be able
to reach all the goals that we want.
You know, you may never have a 10 bedroom mansion.
And what if you said to yourself, well, I'll be happy when I have my big mansion and then you
never got it.
Are you just never going to be happy in your one life that you have?
The thing is, what I'm trying to say is focus on your goals.
Focus on what you want to do for career and work in school.
I always preach that, but at the same time, you have to find things that are going to make you happy on the side.
Don't measure your success and work in school as your happiness.
You have to measure your happiness in other aspects of your life.
Because while you're climbing on your way to get the best job you get or achieve a certain thing,
you have to find things that you enjoy while on that climb.
In something I really like to reference and think about is the Mountain is you book,
really recommend that book.
I have it in my Amazon storefront.
It's literally the best book other than The Secret that really helps you kind of think about life
in a different perspective.
I also kind of reference a few things from that in my previous episode on 22 reminders
that change your perspective.
But I just really want you to think about that.
that, that your 90-year-old self would do anything, anything to be in your position right now.
So time will never come back. So just don't let it pass you by. And when you enter this new season,
be cautious of the actions you make and the intentions you set for the spring to see, are you really
setting these intentions and doing this for you? Is this what you really want? Or are these goals that
are influenced by someone you know, or influenced by someone, maybe your parents, or maybe this is
someone else's goal. Because sometimes, especially if we're raised in an environment where,
you know, our parents are pressuring us or maybe society pressures you and feeling like you have to
go to a good college, whatever it is. Whose goal is this? Maybe you don't want to be a doctor.
Your parents may want you to be. That's their goal for you. But guess what? That's not your goal.
Maybe your friend wants to become a fashion designer. You have zero interest to become a fashion designer.
but she's like, come on, let's do it together.
And then you think that, okay, I guess I'll do it.
Maybe it would be fun.
But this is not your passion.
Don't do it.
You don't have to do something you don't want.
Don't live somebody else's life.
You have one life here.
You want to live it for yourself.
And I'm going to get into an episode about this next week on careers and how to find
what you're meant for.
But just please remember that.
And I have a few last minute notes for the spring reset.
But for spring, you have to realize when it comes back to procrastinate.
When things need to get done, they have to get done anyways.
So just do it right there.
If you see your bed that's messy, make your damn bed.
If you see the dishes in your sink, stop putting it off till later.
Do the dishes.
You don't need to keep procrastinating everything and making it a big deal.
Putting things off is only going to make you feel more stressed out.
When you put something off once, it's going to make it 100 times easier to put it off the next time.
You have to be your biggest own advocate.
And when it comes to a higher power, something I really encourage you try to do more for this spring
is replenish and reconnect your relationship with a higher power.
So whether it's God that you believe in, the universe, love of attraction, whatever it is
that you believe in your personal higher power, try to reconnect with that again.
And because sometimes we get lost and we burden all of our struggles at once, but it's nice
to be able to pass our stress along to something else.
again, whether it's God or the universe, but putting things in something else's hands can just feel so much less burdening on us.
And it can also give us some sort of comfort knowing that we're not alone.
Okay, something else for your spring reset is start hydrating more.
I keep seeing on TikTok like the water trend.
I forgot what it's called, but it's basically where you get a huge like Stanley Cup or a big water jug and then you pour lots of different liquids and electrolytes and different things.
into it like fruit and mint, and it just makes it like a fun water to have throughout the day,
which makes drinking water fun. But try to be more hydrated because especially if it gets hot out,
you're going to lose electrolytes and you want to feel replenished and hydrated for the spring.
I kind of touched on this in the beginning of the episode, but start consuming less of what consumes
you. So you need to realize that if you're finding yourself addicted to something and you're
unable to find balance in it, that's when you have to realize you really, really, really
have to find balance in that being able to portion out what you have of that, whether that
may be you don't have balance in how much TV you watch at once or food or whatever it is,
having balance is key. And if you cannot have balance in that, shift that thing onto something
else. So maybe you cannot have balance when watching one of your favorite reality shows. And
trust me, I encourage you to enjoy your nights and watch your shows. I do the same thing. But
if you end up staying up till 3 a.m. watching shows and you just can never stop,
maybe instead of watching that show, a shift to something else where it's fun to watch
one or two episodes, but then after a little bit, you're like, you know what, I need to get to
bed. I need my sleep. And it kind of brings you back to reality. Okay, something that I recommend
for every single reset, whether it's spring or whatever season, is have a full-on self-care day.
So do your nails, get your nails done, do them at home, get your hair done, or do a box dye like I do at
home, have an everything shower, exfoliate, moisturize, put some serums on, guasha, do a whole thing.
Have a full self-care day and when you do that, one, you're going to look good, but number two,
when you look good, you feel good and when you feel good, you look good.
There's truly no better way to do a full-on self-care day like that than entering a new season.
And of course, your morning routine begins with your night routine, so start prioritizing
eight or more hours of sleep and it's going to show in your energy, your mood, and even your
appearance when you get more sleep. Don't buy into what society loves to say, sleep is for the week.
I used to believe that when I was younger, when I listened to a lot of male motivation podcasts.
And I believed it, sleep was for the week. You know, you're missing out on your life. You could be
working hard to getting where you want to be. Let me tell you, if you want to be burnt out and
running on 1% your entire life, then yeah, you don't need sleep. But if you want to function right
and get more done and be productive and consistent and happy, then you need sleep. So this is going to be
your best spring yet. I can literally feel this is going to be our best spring. I'm so excited to
see how you enter the spring with your spring reset, but we're entering a new season and becoming a
new better version of us. And I am just so excited to enter this new season with you. Please let me
know how you listen to this episode by sharing it over your Instagram story and TikTok.
I literally appreciate it so much when you guys share the podcast.
It just helps the show so much and I always love to repost.
So don't forget to tag me.
Also, very soon I'm going to have a Shabby Shik spring episode where we talk about solo
hobbies and just spring bucket list ideas.
So we will get to that soon in the next month or so.
But anyways, I love you.
I hope you have the best spring.
set yet and do not forget to stay busy yet pretty well
