Hello, my busy yet pretty dolls. Welcome back to another episode of Busy Yet Pretty. I'm your host,
Jaden Haley. Today, I am back at the Spotify Studios in downtown L.A., which is so exciting. It's
been a second since I've been here and I finally now live in L.A. my first time being back at the
studios. So I'm very excited to be back here recording. Okay, guys, so I want to get straight into the
episode today. I'm very excited about today's episodes. If you are tuning in right now through
audio, feel free to go watch the video version right now over Spotify, where you can see
me live at the Spotify Studios. So let's get straight into our weekly review. So I am almost done
with furniture shopping. I'm just so happy to finally see my apartment getting put together.
and I have been trying out new matcha places.
Okay, guys, if you live in L.A.
Or are going to L.A.
And you love matcha or need to try matcha.
Maroo coffee.
Best place that has matcha.
I also been doing morning Pilates.
I've been loving doing the Pilates class, which is really fun.
It's in online like Pilates videos, which I feel has just worked really well for me.
Low impact workouts have just been my favorite lately.
And another thing this week, I have been just listening.
to Christmas music all the time. Like, if it's a silent moment, Christmas music is going on.
I'm just trying to embrace the holidays as much as I can. I just love, love, love how the holidays are
coming up right around the corner. So I just really want to embrace it as much as I can.
Okay, guys, a current obsession. So my current obsession is nightly desserts. I have been loving
to have a little dessert every night. Of course, gluten-free and vegan.
is my favorite type of desserts.
Giselle's Kitchen, Karma Bakery, those are some my top favorites.
Also love Aaron McKenna's, which is in Larchmont, which I am obsessed with.
I feel like gluten-free desserts are the best for me because I am very sensitive to gluten,
so I've been loving that.
Another thing that I've been loving is watching the sunset.
I think it's just so nice to watch it from my apartment.
I feel so lucky to be able to see the sun setting, and it just is so nice to watch while I'm
doing work or just in the evening, just looking at it.
So I've been loving watching the sunset.
Okay, another current obsession is trying new makeup.
I have been trying new makeup products out, and I feel like I've been getting really more
into beauty products.
I love makeup, and I love playing around with skincare, makeup, all of that.
And clean beauty has been something I've been really passionate about lately.
So I've been going through all of my drawers with makeup and skincare and really just getting
rid of all the things that have chemicals in it, just toxic ingredients.
Another current obsession is Christmas movies before bed.
I am not a movie person at all.
Still not.
But, you know, it's been nice to watch a few little Christmas movies before bed.
So I have been loving that.
Okay, guys, now on to my goal of the week.
My goal of the week has been to not go on my phone at least an hour before waking up,
still working on it and guilty of looking at my phone the most.
moment I wake up still, but I think it's really important to stay away from your phone because
obviously there's notifications, there's emails or text, all of that is there. But if you literally
just don't look at your phone for the first hour of waking up, you can get more things done,
really enjoy that time of waking up and doing little tasks like working out and stuff like that.
So I think it's really good to not check your phone in the morning. Another current obsession is
evening treadmill walks. I have been loving just going on
the treadmill in the evening. I think it's so nice and relaxing to just like decompress. I will just do a
simple, nice walk and I think it's really nice because I can see the outdoors and stuff from my view
when walking on the treadmill. But I just have been loving that. It's been really nice. Okay,
another goal for the week is to reread and re-watch The Secret. As you guys know, I am an active
lover of the law of attraction and manifestation. And I think the secret is the most life-saving book
in the world. And it's seriously the secret to life. So I really, really want to reread that.
I just touch up my knowledge and really just think about it because it really does give me
so much motivation and happiness after reading it and watching it. So definitely want to start
rewatching it at least like once a week. Another goal of the week is to be present this holiday season.
I think it's so good to be present in the time that you're in because time is taken for granted all the time because it's literally we are in the most beautiful position in our life and we're thinking about something else.
It's really important to acknowledge the time you're in right now.
And then you know what?
You can be excited about the future but really just be in the present moment.
So that's something I want to do this holiday season.
Okay, a self-love question to ask yourself.
Have I been smiling when I look at the mirror?
If not, do it from now on.
I love that question so much because I think it's so important for us to really just love our own reflection, whether that's looking at what we're seeing in the mirror, our personality and everything.
I think it's so good to love ourself.
And if you are not smiling when you look at yourself in the mirror, then you need to really practice more self-love because you should be so happy and proud of yourself and in love with yourself.
So if you're not, then you need to start smiling at yourself in the mirror.
Okay, next up is a podcast review.
So this review is from Kennedy.
And Kennedy said, this podcast has really helped me understand getting older and living life.
With society now, there's so many expectations.
And this podcast really helped me find how to love myself and live a healthy life.
I love that so much because it really meant a lot to me that she mentioned society's expectations and how this podcast has given
some sort of a guidance to her.
So I just love that so much.
And thank you so much, Kennedy, for the sweetest review.
I truly appreciate it.
Okay, guys, now on to our daily affirmation.
I effortlessly live a healthy lifestyle.
I love that daily affirmation so much,
and I really recommend journaling that affirmation and really affirm it to yourself.
You know, of course, I have to take a second to drink water because stay hydrated.
that's a part of living a healthy lifestyle.
Speaking on living a healthy lifestyle, let's get into today's episode.
So today's episode is the ultimate guide to living a healthy lifestyle.
I am really excited to share this episode with you guys because I've worked really hard on
this episode, trying to gather as many things I feel is necessary for a healthy lifestyle.
So let's get straight into it.
Let's say you're a little set back and haven't really practiced healthy activities and wellness
activities lately and need to get back on your feet this episode is for you it doesn't matter how
set back you think you are starting now is better than never starting it's really easy to think
oh my gosh i am so set back when really we should be saying you know what i can stick this way
that i am right now or i can change how i'm being and improve so it's better to start now than never start
So this is your time to start, babes.
A little brief moment to appreciate my new phone case.
I just had to show you guys really quick.
If you're watching through the video version, you can see.
But look how cute this is.
It's from Wildflower.
It's little ballet bows.
When I received it, I was like, no way this is real.
They're little ballet shoes made as bows.
It's looking like my pink little chain.
And then, oh my gosh, I don't know if you guys can see this.
but it has the cutest little like rhinestone camera cover.
I am so obsessed with it.
I linked it all over my modem.
So go check that out if you want to see what I'm talking about or go tune into the video podcast.
Okay guys, let's get straight into the episode now.
Just like wellness, living a healthy lifestyle can look different on everyone.
There's no one specific way or specific rules to follow to in order to live a healthy lifestyle.
A healthy lifestyle is your own personality.
personal lifestyle. It's your own healthy lifestyle. Mine will look different than yours. But I thought I'd
share some ways that I love a healthy lifestyle. And maybe you can take some of these activities in ways
that I live a healthy lifestyle into your own healthy lifestyle. So after being in the position of
slowly dying and the most unhappiest and healthiest I've ever been in my life while I was
suffering with anorexia, I was really put into a moment of realization once I reclassious. I was really put into a moment of
realization once I recovered how bad I was in the position of my mindset, my health, everything.
I was so unhealthy.
Like, I was extremely malnourished.
And I'm going to talk about that on another episode.
I have a past episode.
I'll talk more in depth about that soon.
But I found it really sad how I truly just let myself go and I was so unhealthy.
And after recovering, I realized how much a healthy lifestyle means to me.
Like, it's not just salads and green juices, which a lot of people think of a healthy lifestyle.
No, this is nourishing yourself with a lot of food that is good for your body and fueling you.
Exercising, being grateful, feeding your mind, body, soul.
There's a lot of different aspects of living a healthy lifestyle.
It's not just salads, green juice, and Pilates, which is, that's a part of living a healthy lifestyle, but that's not the specific rules to living a healthy lifestyle.
so I really wanted to talk about this today.
Since valuing my health and living a healthy lifestyle, I've been happier, I've been more motivated
and productive, I've been more energized, I've been a better person, and I've accomplished so many
more goals.
And there's so many benefits to living a healthy lifestyle, which is why I encourage you to start now.
So you may be wondering, where do I begin to start living a healthy lifestyle?
So number one, something I recommend so much.
is remove toxic habits.
Toxic habits can look different on everyone.
Everyone has their own toxic habits.
You're not perfect.
You have some out there.
Whether that's comparing yourself to someone on Instagram,
comparing yourself to someone online,
I really recommend unfollowing people on social media
that don't serve you, right, that you compare yourself to,
or that doesn't just leave a happy feeling to you.
Another thing is, is set a timer on your phone.
It's so good to not be on your phone
all day long and to really just schedule time. Of course, a lot of people can't help in. Let's say
people work from home or work from their phone a lot. For instance, I work from my phone most
the time. So I'm on my phone all the time. But you know what? I sometimes get lost and scrolling.
And I'm like, wait, Jaden, do your task. Don't look at other stuff right now. And also, if I am looking at
other things, I'm like, oh, I finished on my work and I'm looking at people on Instagram or whatever.
I'm like, I'm just endlessly scrolling.
Like there needs to be a stopping point because it'll go forever.
So you need to have a stopping point.
Another thing is to stop procrastinating.
I mean, I am guilty of this as well.
So do not feel that you are alone in this.
I procrastinate too.
But I've really learned that when I procrastinate and I leave stuff to the last second,
one, I'm stressed.
Two, it's harder.
I don't enjoy my time because I'm dreading doing it later.
If I do it right away,
whip out the work early and do all of that fast, then I thankfully am able to have that free time
later where you know what, I completed all my work. Now I have all this time left for me. So you need to
remove those toxic habits from your life. Even though those toxic habits may feel small,
I promise you those toxic habits will add up and negatively affect you. Another thing I would say
is substitute those habits, those toxic habits that you have with beneficial things instead. For instance,
Let's say you spend a lot of your time on comparing your body to someone else on social media.
Substitute that time with looking on Pinterest at things that will make you happy,
like inspiration, motivation, don't look at things that are going to leave you feeling sad.
Another thing to substitute, let's say if you are someone who drinks a lot of energy drinks,
and let me just say most of those energy drinks out there are filled with artificial flavors,
dyes, replace that with water, macha, and even if it's a healthy,
energy drink. When you have a ton of caffeine that can make you really anxious and I just think that
it's really good to replace things. So find toxic habits that you have or things that you feel,
okay, this isn't right for me and replace it with a positive thing because I promise you,
watch how fast your life will positively have an impact. Okay, another thing is physical activity.
Yeah, I think that's really important when living a healthy lifestyle because even if you do not
work out seven days a week or don't do a very high intensity workout every single day. That's not
what healthy looks like on everyone. For instance, I would not want to work out seven days a week
I have before and it just is not my thing, but I would not want to work out seven days a week
or do high intensity seven days a week. I love high intensity workouts. That just is not what I want
to do all the time. But something I recommend is do some sort of physical activity every single
day. Having little bits of movement, whether that's walking on the treadmill for a little bit,
going outside on a walk, doing yoga for 20 minutes, doing some ab workouts, all of that is very
beneficial and can count as daily movement, which I think is very important. And I promise you daily
movement will help you sleep better, will help you digest food more. It has so many benefits where
it even can improve your mood so drastically where it has pulled many people out of depression
because of how much physical activity can benefit them.
One of my favorite things to do is doing yoga in the sunlight.
And I also love doing like Pilates.
And it's also really nice to meet up with friends.
Let's say that you have a hard time committing to working out or having physical activity.
I really recommend meeting with a friend to work out.
Let's say you want to go on a walk with a friend, meet up with them.
And it really holds you accountable to having to do that daily activity.
because if you, one of the things is it's really easy to say, I'll start tomorrow.
A classic saying is I'll start tomorrow.
And let me just say, you're not going to start tomorrow because you'll just keep saying I'll
start tomorrow.
You have to just start now.
Start now.
Start doing some daily movement.
And it doesn't have to be big.
It can be a tiny bit, even 10 minutes.
10 minutes of little daily movement is better than nothing.
It doesn't have to be 100%.
Just do any little thing.
because all those little things add up.
And like I said, putting things off
is only going to make it harder to start.
Something I used to do, which I do this every day still,
is I lay out my clothes I'm going to work out in in my shoes
and my yoga mat where I'm ready to wake up in the morning
and I have everything laid out.
Yes, I don't want to do it necessarily and work out that day,
but I kind of feel obligated because I left all those clothes out for me to work out.
So I think it's really important to plan ahead.
hold yourself accountable and also reward yourself if working out is something so hard for you
that you don't like to do then give yourself a little reward afterwards say that you're going to go
take yourself to go get a matcha after do something that rewards yourself where it starts to feel
good and also honestly the result of working out is just the best reward too something that i think
is really funny is i'll be really tired and let's say i wanted to work out the next day and i wake up in
the morning finally it's the next morning and I am like no it's okay Jaden you're going to sleep right
now you're going to go back to bed you can work out later I'm busy I'm not going to work out later
we all know that so what I do is my mind is telling me no like she's like go back to sleep babe
you are way too tired so I want to go back to sleep but what I'll do is I will literally
have my body physically pick me up out of bed like I will literally just like sprint out of bed
while my mind is like, my eyes are like closed and I'm like so tired, but I will like spring my body up
and then I'm awake. It's sometimes physical action over mindset, which is kind of switched because
usually you say like, oh, mind and then physically you start to do it. But no, sometimes the physical
action has to start first and then you begin doing things where your mind will then be like,
okay, we're catching along here. And I promise you, every time I've done that and I've worked out
and I mean myself physically do it for at least 15 minutes or so, I always feel better.
I really recommend purchasing some cute workout equipment.
I love bala bands.
I have these like bala weights and they're like little handheld weights which are so cute.
And I like to do a little like ab workouts with them and like hold them up, all of that.
And I really recommend them.
So if you have any sort of cute equipment on your mind, purchase it right now.
Purchase the cute workout outfit.
get excited to work out because once you have that exciting little workout outfit and those little
equipment it'll be fun to work out so i really recommend doing that also when you start adding things
into your healthy lifestyle it's really easy to think this is too hard i rather just stay where i'm at now
what you need to do is slowly incorporate little things into your life so let's say working out
is something hard for you like i said incorporate 10 minutes you don't need to do an hour just do little
things you have to start somewhere you're not going to be 100% you're not going to be your
ideal self overnight, you have to start somewhere and work your way up. Consistency is when you're
going to see results. It's so important to stay consistent on what you're doing, even if it's small
little movements or small little activities that you're adding into your lifestyle, that is more
important than doing one day a week, all healthy a day. Just do little healthy activities every single
day and that will add up way more drastically than one hardcore day out of the week that you're
healthy. Something that I think is so important, and it's one of my favorite quotes, is progress over
perfection, consistency over perfection, and balance over perfection. When you're just aiming to be perfect,
you're going to have very ups downs, up downs, have a sturdy path. Even if you're not doing things
100%, do little things every single day and that will take you to the 100%. Also, acknowledge your
perfection. You're amazing. You can do so much throughout the day. Even if it's one little thing that
you've added every single week, then that's great because that's better than nothing. So I am
really encouraging you to honor and acknowledge your hardworking self. Another thing when living
a healthy lifestyle is don't set goals and have the mindset of, I'll be happy once I achieve this.
I'll be happy once I am this or I'll be happy once I have this because that's only going to
lead you to disappointment. You have to be internally happy with yourself no matter what. And yes,
It's great if you achieve something.
It's great if you end up being able to have something or be this or be that.
But you have to be internally happy with yourself because if you get disappointed by something,
then are you just going to say, oh, that's it, I'm sad.
No.
You have to have internal happiness and a healthy lifestyle aside from any goals that you achieve or not.
It's not a healthy lifestyle to depend on goals or achievements to be happy in your life.
That's just the cherry on top.
but you have to have internal happiness within yourself.
Okay, now going on to the topic of food.
Love food.
Food is so sexy.
Food is hot.
Let's get into food.
Obviously, the majority of your diet, I'm just not going to be fake.
Let me just say if the majority of your diet is fast food and processed foods or artificial
snacks, you aren't going to feel your best in most energized, the most field.
So it's really important to nourish your body with protein, complex carbs, and healthy
fats. You will notice a difference in your mood, your energy, health checkups, your skin, and so much
more once you begin feeling your body with good ingredients. And don't forget to feel your mind,
body, and soul. Those are three things that you need to feel. And when people think eating
healthy is just salads, which very typical traditional diet, that is not right at all. So
typical or the diet pills, like literally stay stay away from them.
Like, I'm trying to be honest and tell you from someone who's had anorexia and someone who's recovered and takes care of their health now that cutting out things will not make you feel good.
And eating just traditional unhealthy processed foods or whatever, if that's the majority of your diet, you won't feel good either.
It's about balance.
Feel your mind, body, and soul.
Even if that means eating the traditional unhealthy snacks, fast food, all of that, that's feeding your soul.
Personally, I don't believe in artificial flavors, dyes, or preservatives.
I personally really like to shop for organic and I don't have a lot of refined sugar so I like to have a lot of like honey or agave as sweeteners.
I get a lot of gluten-free things because I'm sensitive to gluten so I'll get things like almond flour, cassava flour.
Avocados are really healthy fats.
I like to get decaf coffee.
Everybody makes fun of me for having decaf coffee.
I'm sorry, but like, that makes me so jittery.
And honestly, it's the move.
So if you are ever feeling bad from coffee, try decath.
It's not bad.
Like people say it is.
Or try macha because matcha does have caffeine, but it's a different type of caffeine.
Fruits and vegetables.
Flax seeds, hemp seeds.
Vitamin and supplements are really important too.
So adding all of that into your daily diet and it's really good to research.
on that. Of course there's different vitamins that everyone needs. I get really annoyed when I see people
just say, oh, a healthy diet is a salad. That's not what a healthy diet is. It's not cutting things out.
It's incorporating things in your diet, actually. A healthy diet means eating enough foods,
a big variety of different types of foods, eating nutritious snacks, not relying on artificial
energy drinks to get you through the day. That is having a healthy diet. Okay, now let's move on
to something that I am very passionate about, which is gratitude.
I love gratitude.
And just prioritizing your happiness in general.
So you will be a better person to other people when you are happy with yourself.
Acknowledge the simple things in life.
If that's the sun rising, that makes you happy.
Be thankful for it.
Say how grateful you are that the sun rises.
If that is seeing a little bird fly by, be thankful for it.
Oh, that is such a cute little bird.
if it's seeing the color pink, oh my gosh, that color is so beautiful on this earth. Wow.
Like, acknowledge any little simple things that make you happy.
It's really good to also forgive others and to be mindful.
Yes, the bigger person stuff, but it's really good to forgive others because you would want to be forgave too if you were apologizing to someone.
Be mindful.
If you see someone carrying a ton of groceries, hold the door open for them.
Compliment strangers.
Turn negatives into positives.
Find the positive in a bad situation.
It's so good to find the good out of everything because you are going to be such a happier person when you do that.
By acting on positivity, you are going to have a more positive life.
Some of my favorite ways to incorporate positivity into my lifestyle is my 5-minute journal, meditation, yoga, stretching, walking, minimizing screen time.
All those things can really be a positive impact on me.
It may not be for you, but those are things that maybe you could do, something that I encourage you to start doing.
Every single day from now on is the minute you wake up, name one thing that you are grateful for.
Whether that's your health, someone in your family, it could be literally anything.
Like the minute your eyes open, what are you grateful for?
That just really puts you in a very grateful and mindful state of mind.
And I think it's very important to always be in that mindset no matter what because you're going to not only attract amazing opportunities to you,
but you will feel internally happy no matter what.
And it's harder for negative things to affect you when you are a happy person.
So really touch base with how you can heal and incorporate more happiness and gratitude into your life.
Something else I think is very important when living a healthy lifestyle is to get enough sleep.
Something I used to do is I would literally run off of four hours of sleep, which is not healthy at all.
Some people can do it.
Some people can't.
But no matter what, that's not healthy.
You need to be having the right amount of sleep, whether it's like six to nine hours,
that's a really good amount of sleep time.
So I really think that sleep should be prioritized and be really making sure to go to bed on the right time.
Don't endlessly scroll on TikTok until your eyes are hurting and then you can't sleep anymore because your eyes hurt.
Like literally put your phone down, lay in bed, you will fall asleep after a while.
And I promise you when you have your sleep schedule on track, that will also be a huge impact, a positive impact on your life.
Another thing is to surround yourself with people who make you happy.
It can really negatively affect you when you surround yourself with people who aren't positive
or who aren't a positive impact onto your life because not only will they bring you down,
but you will just feel unhappy from how they are.
Let's be honest, if you are in a room with all negative people, you will start feeling negative.
If you're in a room with all positive people, you will only start feeling positive.
So you really need to find out who is serving me right.
Okay guys, let's get into a little Q&A because I asked you guys over my Instagram story some questions you had on a healthy lifestyle and I received hundreds of questions but I wanted to pick out a few of my favorites so let's get to them.
So this question is asked by the user Grant's girlfriend.
How do you balance so many things at the same time?
See, this is where I actually lack skill on too, but I think it's really important to balance because for someone like,
me. I enjoy working hard and I will like work, work, work, work until I'm burnt out, which is
something that I've been trying to work on myself. But I think it's really important to have
balance and structure. That's the number one things when you have a lot of things going in your
life or a lot of tasks or just a very packed schedule is to have balance and structure. So schedule
your time wisely. You need to schedule your time wisely and time block. That could be really
important and helpful to you. Another thing could be is rewarding yourself when you have a lot of things
to do. Go one by one for each task and reward yourself after each task and just stay in order rather
than jumping around. That's something that a lot of people do is they will have 10 things to do.
Okay, let me do a little of this one, a little of this, a little of that. No. Instead,
just get one thing done. Go in a line so it keeps your thoughts in line. Next up is a question
from Viv. Viv asks, how do you incorporate more fruits and veggies into your diet without feeling
restrictive? I actually really love this question. Something that I really recommend is add those
fruits and vegetables onto your diet, don't replace them. If you begin replacing things, that can make it
really hard and restrictive. It's really good just to add on those things. So let's say that you
eat salmon and rice. Okay, add broccoli. Don't replace the rice. Just add broccoli. And you don't
replace anything. You're just adding onto something. That prevents restriction.
because you're still eating what you love,
but you're just adding on some fruits and vegetables to it.
Okay, another question is from Olivia.
Olivia said,
how do I stop procrastinating being on my phone?
I'm really struggling with this at the moment.
I am too.
She's my best friend.
Like, I literally love my phone.
I do work on my phone.
I look at my phone.
I find inspo my phone.
And sometimes I can get a little too addicted to my phone.
and that's when we need to physically force us to put the phone down.
Something that I love to do is I put Do Not Disturb on,
and that really just honestly helps because you're not seeing constant notifications come up,
and it just is blank, so it shows no notifications.
And then another thing I love to do is allow myself to have my phone after I do a task.
So let's say I'm going to tell myself, okay, once I finish editing this video,
I will then be able to look at things I want on my phone.
So of course I'm still working for my phone,
but I will put it on Do Not Disturb, do that,
and then I have some free time to look at my phone.
Another thing you could do is put your phone in another room.
I do that as well, or if I need to, let's say, script out an episode,
I will start writing my notes and then I get distracted and I'm like, no.
So I go put my phone in the other room,
and that really allows me just to tune in and work
because there's nothing there to pick up and get sidetracked.
Another question is from Gab.
If my routine is constantly changing because of school,
how can I keep a healthy and stable lifestyle?
I love this question because I think everyone can relate to this
where their routine is changing, their schedule changes,
and that just honestly will affect your everyday life when those things happen.
And I think it's really important to carry along those healthy activities along with you with those changes.
So let's say one of the healthy habits that you do is write in your five-minute journal every day.
Even though your schedule is off and things are changing, continue writing in your five-minute journal.
Let's say that you do yoga for 20 minutes every morning.
Continue doing that in the morning because you know what?
When you continue those healthy habits, it'll allow you to first adapt easier into those changes.
It will also allow you to be more relaxed and not stressed out that you're off routine or anything.
So just continue those little small daily habits.
Another question is, how do I train myself off of eating soda, sweets, and fast food after eating it all my life?
I actually really do love this question.
And I think this is a very valid question that many people can relate to.
But I would say to start by slowly adding nutritious foods into your diet.
And like I said, do not replace, but still eat the foods that you're eating, just add nutritious foods.
And you know what?
By time, you may think my body feels so much better.
and that's already the biggest reward.
So let's say you may start replacing some things once in a while,
but don't replace things where you cut out everything.
You can't cut out things or that's just going to make you unhappy.
Still eat the things that you like and love, but add nutritious things.
It's just be mindful and have the majority of the time you eating nutritious foods.
So start incorporating more.
You can start replacing some things over time,
but still continuing to eat the things that make you happy and fuel you.
Someone asked, do you have any Pilates at home tips?
I love going to Pilates in person, but sometimes my schedule is too packed where I can't make it out to go do Pilates in person.
So I'll do a little time at home.
And one of my favorite things to do is watch the Pilates class videos.
I really recommend their videos.
They're very, very easy.
They have different levels.
So like they have advanced.
They have intermediate beginners.
Anything that works well for you.
They have yoga, Pilates, high intensity, all different things.
But I just really love that the most.
Now this question is from a sand blanket.
They ask, how do you do your green juice?
It looks so yummy.
One of my favorite things to do when making green juice is add ginger, celery, lemon, and spinach.
Those are my go-to.
I feel like those are the best, really nutritious ones.
And oh, my gosh, after I drink celery juice, my skin is glowing.
It looks so good.
So celery juice is the best for skin, by the way.
And adding lemon.
Oh, also adding apple.
Apples always make it sweeter and not like so gross tasting.
So I really recommend adding some sweet fruit to it when making a green juice.
Etanar asked,
How did you learn to feel less guilty for resting and having unproductive days?
I love that because I have struggled with that myself.
Or I would say, gosh, I didn't even do anything today.
Or I only did one thing today.
Or I literally felt like I didn't accomplish what I wanted to do today.
let me just say if those days happen you need to reassure yourself that you are refueling yourself
for the days ahead do not punish yourself if you had a rest day this is so good to have a rest day
even if it is spontaneous and you didn't get much work done that is okay listen to your body
you have to listen to your body and that's really important when living a healthy lifestyle
because if you're neglecting how you're feeling and what your body needs then that's only going to
result in having burnout or being sad or not even being productive in the long run because you're
just kind of stringing along rather than taking time to refuel and getting motivated for the week
ahead. Tell more as quick breakfast ideas. So I am an oatmeal girl. I love oatmeal. One of my
favorite quick easy breakfast that take under 10 minutes is oatmeal with flaxseed, golden raisins,
almonds, cinnamon, and almond milk. The best
oatmeal bowl ever so good another good quick breakfast idea is actually this isn't necessarily
quick but it can be kind of quick is eggs sweet potato spinach and avocado that's a really
great mixture has healthy fats protein some greens and a healthy carb i received a lot more questions
i'm just so thankful for you guys sending it in and i'm actually going to do more questions over my
instagram store really soon so be on the lookout for the question sticker and you can
and ask all the questions you'd like.
But I just wanted to answer a few during the end of this episode
because I was touching on these topics
and I wanted to hear what questions that you guys had.
I really hope this episode has given you some sort of motivation
to start living a healthy lifestyle
and realizing that it's better to start now than to never start.
Saying that you're going to start tomorrow or start next week
is only going to push it off further
and you're probably not going to start then.
You need to start now.
Once this episode ends,
you are starting your healthy lifestyle now.
Start incorporating nutritious foods.
Get some daily movement.
Start finding gratitude throughout the day.
Those little healthy habits will add up into being the most positive impacts on your life.
And don't forget that consistency is so important in having a healthy lifestyle.
Start incorporating those healthy habits one by one and don't be hard on yourself.
You have to realize you're not going to be your ideal self overnight.
It takes time.
So I really recommend that you just be proud of yourself.
For every little bit that you do, every little activity that you add on to your routine,
every little thing that you do, just be proud of yourself.
Even if you do nothing all day long and you needed a really long rest day,
be proud of yourself that you gave the time to let yourself refuel.
You need to acknowledge yourself, love yourself.
That's the point of life, is to be happy within yourself.
I cannot stress this enough.
Take care of yourself.
You are the best project you are ever going to work on.
So love yourself.
take care of yourself, and realize you have such a purpose of being here, and there is so much
for you to accomplish, so much for you to experience, so much for you to live. So start incorporating
