Welcome to the Busy at Pretty podcast. I'm your host, Jaden Haley. Last week, I just launched the first episode of Busy at Pretty and oh my gosh, all I have to say is thank you guys so much for all the sweet, kind reviews. I have had the best time reposting and looking at all the stories. You guys have tagged me and have you listening to the podcast. It makes me so happy seeing you guys being busy at Pretty. But enough talking. Let's get into today's episode. Starting off with my weekly review, a few days ago I just shot for Saks Fifth Avenue, which was so fun. So Ryan and I had a day in L.A. The shoe went so well, and then afterwards we went to Lady Bird Cafe. If you guys are in the L.A. area, you need to try Lady Bird Cafe. They have little greenhouses and oh my gosh, it's adorable. I got the lemon poppy seed pancake and all I have to say is perfection. Ryan and I had the loveliest time and after lunch we kind of were just wrapping up our time, but we were just going to chill out for a little with my coffee and his smoothie.

And then you have to hear what happens. He's taking some photos of me with my cute little coffee. And then his smoothie is right next to his elbow. As he was taking my photos, his sleeve accidentally caught into the smoothie, and the cup just absolutely poured all the purple smoothie all into his clothes. It was, it felt like a fever dream. Like, it did not feel real. It's all okay.

The purple smoothie is out of his clothes now. But it was a very funny and crazy experience, which him and I look back and laugh on now. Not speaking for him, but speaking for him, I think it was worth the really cute photos that I got for the smoothie to be all over him. But anyways, after we went back home and then went back to L.A. that night to go eat dinner at To Comey, sushi. We always sit on the rooftop, which we can see all of LA and it's just so pretty at night and the sushi is divine, so I totally recommend going there as well if you're in the LA area. Okay, next on to my current obsession. My current obsession right now is Victoria's Secret. It's bringing me back to my old obsession in middle school of Victoria's Secret and I'm here for it.

Last week, I placed an order of some clothes from Victoria's Secret. I am obsessed with their athletic wear. This purple pink, Victoria's Secret leggings, and they are so comfortable, and I love them, and I also ordered a few other accessories as well as yoga pants, which I'm currently wearing right now. Another current obsession for me right now is my macha latte with oatmeal and honey. It seriously is all I drink now. I absolutely love macha latte lattes with oatmeal and honey. My favorite drink, and I order it everywhere I go. Lastly, another thing I'm currently obsessed with is red lipstick. Red lipstick is just a staple piece for me right now. I swear, once I put on red lipstick, it spices up the outfit times 10. It just looks so cute, so chic, so hot. Going into my goal of the

week, my goal of the week is to establish a new workout routine. I got a pink, adorable yoga mat for Christmas, which lots of you guys have been asking where it's from. It is from Fila, and it's so cute, and I get the half-inch yoga mat because I feel like it just more comfortable when working out. I have been wearing my new athletic wear that I got from Victoria's Secret. So if you are wanting to have a better workout routine, I recommend getting some cute athletic clothes. When you feel cute, you just have a better workout. End of story. Okay, a quote for my five-minute journal. Wake up early, enjoy peaceful morning hours, and greet a new day by watching the sunrise. I love that so much because I am such a morning person. Lastly,

a self-love question to ask yourself. What part or parts of myself have I felt the need to change in the past that I now embrace? I recommend pausing this right now and journal this question and really think deeply about that because I think that's such a good question to ask yourself. Now to wrap up my bullet points, let's get into today's episode. Today's episode is on my Holy Grail Beauty Essentials. I have received so many messages and requests to hear what are my favorite skincare, makeup, beauty products that I recommend. It is time to spill my Holy Grail products. Today I'm going to go over my favorite skincare, skincare additions, hair care, hygiene, makeup, and fragrances and perfumes. I am so nice not to keep these because oh my gosh, do I swear by these, starting off with

my skincare. For my morning routine, I wash my face with African black soap by Shea Moister. I swear by this soap, I have been using the soap for about three. years now and I have not gone back like it's the only soap that leaves my skin feeling so glowy and firm and I just love it so much I spray my face with the Mario Bodescu cucumber spray. It feels like it just like awakens my skin for the morning and I just love it so much it also smells so good. Next I use the bubble level up moisturizer. It leaves my face not oily at all. It also is really nice wearing under makeup and let's makeup so like apply really nicely into my skin. I love bubble. I really think that their products work super well for me and I totally recommend. Talking about

skincare and beauty products and beauty essentials, I really try to shop products that are EDTA free, peg free and caravan free because I really want to be putting good, healthy, organic skincare onto my body and not anything harmful. Of course, I can't avoid everything. There's gonna have ingredients here and there, but as much as I can, I try to shop very paraben-free and healthy products. After my skincare, I put on my Cocoa Kine, which is my favorite skincare company ever. I swear, none of their products miss. I love Koko Kine. I use their SPF-32.

It is so nice. It does not leave my face oily at all. And I wear it every single day, winter, fall, summer, spring. Whatever it is, it's on my face. I always wear sunscreen. If you are not wearing sunscreen every single day, no matter the season, then what are you doing? Sunscreen is your savior. Trust me, it is going to prevent skin cancer, aging, and so much more. So I totally recommend you wear your sunscreen all the time. I preach SPF so much because SPF is our friend. She is our bestie. We love her. Find yourself a good sunscreen.

I love cocoa kind because they have all natural ingredients. Another good sunscreen is super goop. That one is amazing as well. After listening to this episode, go purchase a sunscreen and you will not regret it. Your future self is thanking you right now for wearing sunscreen. Going on to my night skincare routine. I take off my makeup. My mom has gotten me on a new makeup remover.

I have always used makeup wipes and I never realized how bad they are for your skin and how they just like pull your skin so much. She introduced me to these really soft like makeup cloths. You use a specific body butter and it's just so nice not having a rough makeup wipe to take my makeup off. So I've been using that. Next, of course, I use my African black soap by Shane Moisture because you know what, there is not another soap I'm using.

She is my soap and she works perfect. I use my Coco kind chia seed oil. The chia seed oil works so nice. It leaves my skin so glowy the next day and I just love it. I then use the slam dunk moisturizer at night so I get more hydration. Also, when using your skincare, be sure to spread it into your neck. I feel like a lot of people forget, but your neck is so important. Give some skincare to your neck.

Don't forget about her. Treat your neck like your face. Going on to my skincare additions. So this is other little items I have for my skincare routine that I recommend. Number one being hairclips. I really recommend using hair clips to pull your hair back and to prevent any hair from getting product in it and causing oils in your hair. Next is a guasha. My face felt so sculpted and not puffy at all. I got my guasha from Amazon. When you guasha at night, make sure to put lots of oil on your face beforehand.

Next is a jade roller. I have a jade roller. That has been my girl lately. She has helped me so much depuff my face. I used it before I shot for sacks and oh my gosh, I woke up so puffy for some reason. I think I had a lot of sodium the night before. So my face was just very puffy and I used it and it literally depuffed my face, especially when it's cold. Like a cold jade roller is amazing. A lot of my girls out there, yes, there's nothing to hide. I got a facial shaver. I am half Filipino so my hair is sometimes pretty dark.

So anytime I get just a hair here and there. Next is hair care. Do not even get me started with oliplex. I know everyone talks about oliplex and I was like, okay, everyone loves it. Let me just give it a try. Let me just say, my hair has never felt better. I used the oliplex number three hair mask and then the number four shampoo and number five conditioner. My hair looks so soft and silky.

I am just obsessed and I truly want to be. recommend oliplex. Next is my Gizu hair oil. The Gizu hair oil is just amazing. It reminds me of honey. It's so cute. Smells amazing. And I use it after my showers after I wash my hair and it leaves my hair looking so shiny. Next, I use the whey leaving conditioner spray once my hair is dry. I love whey products and truly recommend them. Next is my seamless hair ties. Usually hair ties have like a plastic glued together seam breaks your hair so much when taking a ponytail out. Going on to hygiene. My favorite hygiene product of all time is my native deodorant.

I will not shut up about it. Even Ryan will use my native deodorant because he thinks it smells so good. I love native deodorant because, one, I was looking for aluminum and paraben-free deodorants because I feel like deodorant is something that you really need to get like natural and as paraben-free as possible. My favorite one of all time is the oat milk latte deodorant, and I also love the macho latte one as well. Next is Billy Razors and Shavers. I love my Billy Shaver. I have been using Billy products for the past two or three years now, and they work so nicely. I don't get razor burn at all from Billy Shavers because it has like a coat of alawanda. I really recommend.

med investing in a good shaver. Next is my native body wash. Again, back with the native products, I love my native body wash. I use it every single night. I have it in both the flavors. I have my deodor in, which is omel milk latte and macho latte. Next is a foot scrubber. I literally use foot scrubbers on my heels. The one I have looks like a cheese grater, but it gets the job done and it works so nice. And then after my shower, use a Vaseline stick. on my heel. I have these rubber half sock and the inside of it is rubber so the vaseline doesn't absorb into the cotton. So it just like absorbs strictly into your foot in the morning when I take the sock off. My heels literally are so soft. I know you're getting free fee audio content right now,

but I just have to say I recommend it so much. Next is a exfoliator brush. I love to dry scrub my skin before I get in the shower. My skin feels so nice and smooth, so I really recommend a dry exfoliator brush, especially if you're going to shave. I really recommend dry scrubbing before you get in the shower. I know a lot of my girlies love to tan. So do I. I do not lay out in the sun. That is not my thing. I am Miss sunscreen, stay in the shade type of girl, but I do love being tan. So I love to use my favorite tanning Moose, which is skin rolls. It leaves my skin so nice in bronze and not orange at all. Next, I love my way body lotion. My skin always feels so nice and refreshed when I use their lotion. I love it. Moving on to makeup. Makeup, I do lack on getting healthy ingredients, which is something I do want to

look into very much, but here are my current favorite products that I live by. Number one, being my Benefit 24-hour brow. This is the one product I would keep if I can only keep one makeup product for the rest of my life, it would be that. My brows will stay in its shape from morning to night no matter what they go through.

Next is my Dior lash primer. I have never used a lash primer until recently. I feel like using a lash primer really help allow mascara to not be clumpy and really spreads evenly. Next is my Benefit Real Magnet Mascara. It does not leave any residue mascara under my eyes throughout the day. I know concealers can be such a hit or miss, but one

affordable drugstore concealer that I love is the Mabeline Age Rewind concealer. It's such a good concealer for being a drugstore concealer, but usually I use that for any just dark spots around my face or if I have a pimple, I'll just use it on that. Now, for the real deal concealer that I use under my eyes is a tart shape tape concealer. It has been my concealer for the past four years or so. It completely takes away my under eyes and just makes my skin look so nice and smooth. Next is the Revlon Color Estate pressed powder. I always put that on under my eyes after I put my shape tape concealer on. It's a drugstore product and makes my skin looking so smooth.

Next is my tart clay face shaping palette. It's the best bronzer and contour palette I have. It makes my skin look very tan and bronze and I just love it. For a blush, I love my... cosmetics, Ombre Radiance Blush. It is such a nice shade and it's just a little pretty rosy color. Another one I love is my Dior blush in the color 001. I know a lot of celebrity makeup artists use that blush. It just is the cutest color pink on your cheeks. I have gotten so many questions on what lip products I use. I adore the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk set. So

silky and nice. Another one I love is just the Dior lip oil, the Dior lip oil, the Dior. Dior Maximizer and the Dior lip glow, all those three products work so nicely and they look so good for a natural glowy look. Moving on to fragrances and perfumes. I love fragrances. I think it's so nice to just smell good. Like when someone says I smell good, that's like one of the best compliments. It just is so cute and dainty. I love smelling good.

I'm so surprised I'm not gatekeeping this perfume because I seriously am obsessed with this perfume. It smells so good. I feel like a lot of people know of it already, but I haven't heard many people talk about it and I didn't know of it until I purchased it the same day I did. It's the Dolcangabana Lumpera Trees perfume, which smells like fruit and flowers, and it just smells so perfect.

Another one that I wear almost every day as well is the misty or blooming bouquet. You guys already know about this perfume. It's perfection. I love it. You love it. We all do. Next is the Nest Turkish Orch.

Rose. The nest perfume is pretty inexpensive and affordable. It just smells so nice. I'm one to be very prone to getting headaches, especially from scents and perfumes and fragrances. So I try to go ones that are light, airy smelling, and just this one is just perfect and it gives me no headaches at all. Next is the Gucci Flora gorgeous Gordina perfume. It's really funny because if you look at my perfume collection, I somehow only have pink perfumes. Like, I don't understand why, but all my perfumes are pink. Going on to the Romance Rose, Ralph Lauren, perfume. That perfume I bought in New York in 2018 or 19. It's one of my favorites and it just smells amazing. Lastly, is my way North Bondi perfume. That perfume just smells like I just washed my hair. It's so nice and refreshing, and I love
