Hello, my busy yet pretty girls. Welcome back to the busy yet pretty podcast. I am your host,
Jaden Haley. I hope you all have been doing lovely as always and being busy yet pretty.
According to the date today, yesterday was the 22nd of February. So I hope you all took the opportunity
to manifest in really manifested dreams and all your goals because your manifestations will come true if you put your mind to it.
So I hope you all took that yesterday as an opportunity to manifest your goals.
Without further ado, let's get into the weekly bullet points for my weekly review.
So this week, I went to Joshua Tree with Ryan, which was so fun. I'm so happy he got to come.
But I was shooting for my friend Chloe. Her brand, Chloe, is so cute. Go check it out.
So I shot that in Joshua Tree with her. Of course, Chrissy shot, and I was so nice seeing her because
I love Chrissy and I want to have her on the pod very soon. While we were there, Ryan and I got to go
thrifting a ton, which was so fun. Ryan is now a certified thrifter. My parents would always take me
thrifting. I love thrifting. And we found so many adorable and expensive pieces that were so, so, so
cute, so cute. I actually already started wearing some in my Instagram. So I got this really cute
Turtleneck and I love the items that I got. And then we also went to Goodwill Binns in San Bernardino,
which was so fun as well, got so many great deals. Oh, the day prior to that was Valentine's Day.
That was so lovely, I got to spend Valentine's Day with Ryan and then the next day is when we went to
Joshua Tree. So we had a little fun weekend and week together and I just loved it.
After we got back from Joshua Tree, I was still with Ryan, so I sat and I did my emails
at his work, which is one of my favorite things to do. He works at Starbucks. Like, how perfect is that?
Because I am such a Starbucks girl, how much better can life be? I love watching him make my ice
shaken espresso with 0.5 of vanilla, light ice, oat milk, and decaf. I absolutely love sitting
in the cafe watching him work as I do my emails.
Next, I did a really big Sunday reset, which was really good and I think very healthy for me
because I had some laundry that needed to be washed after going to the bins and all the thrifts.
I love having a big Sunday reset and washing all my clothes and having fresh new clothes
all washed, cleaned, and I straightened up, I tidied up.
And I think it's so needed for everyone to do a Sunday reset.
It makes you feel so organized, cleaned, and ready for the new.
week. I think there is no better feeling than coming back from a trip and having a big reset.
I absolutely love coming back from a trip, dumping all my clothes on the floor and feeling honestly
like a mess. And then one by one start accomplishing all the tasks I need to reset. And it feels so
nice getting into my current obsessions. Currently, I am obsessed with the rain. The past few days,
it has been raining and hailing. I live in SoCal, so of course it has been not snowing because it does not snow here,
but it has been raining a little bit and I have been enjoying the rain so much. It's so relaxing and it
makes me so happy and I just love it. Next, I have been enjoying morning showers so much. I am
always a nightly shower person, but lately my morning showers have made me so happy using my
lovely products in the morning and washing my hair.
Just so nice, I love it.
This is no surprise, but matcha from Kiki's Corner in Watson's at the Orange Circle just hits
different.
I have obsessed with their matcha.
Everyone already knows, if you follow my Instagram story, it is the best matcha in Orange
County.
And honestly, best matcha I've ever tried in California.
Actually, ever tried ever.
For all the places I've been, it's been the best matcha.
I've ever had any time Ryan and I are going to go on a long drive or literally a 10-minute drive.
It could be anywhere.
I always need him to take me to get macha from Watson's first because it is not a good day without my matcha.
Next is green juices.
I have been loving green juices and having little wellness shots.
They are so good and I honestly see a difference of how I feel and it's so good to get those daily vitamins in.
but I really do love green juices lately.
They don't have to be expensive.
I do not have a juicer, but I buy the one from Trader Joe's, or I go to nectar.
The nectar greeny is amazing.
I totally recommend it.
Next, my goal of the week.
My goal of the week is to have a clear plan of these upcoming months regarding school and living.
As many of you may know, I am moving to New York in a few months with Ryan, and I really want to figure out my entire plan.
and different directions if one direction doesn't work out.
So I would really love to organize all my thoughts on school and living and all of that.
Another goal is to start doing more yoga.
I've been doing it every morning.
I have not today because I want to start recording this podcast early this morning.
But I have been loving yoga in the morning.
It helps my muscles feel not sore after a workout and I just love yoga.
A quote of the week. A month from now, you can either have a month of progress or a month of
excuses why you didn't. I love that so much. It's been one of my favorite quotes this week,
and it's nothing but facts. I love it so much and it's so true. Think of how much a month is
and how further you can get to your goal by just a month. You can either have a month of excuses
is why you didn't or a full entire month of progress. It's in your hands to choose what you are
planning to do. I just thought that was such a great quote for this week. Next is a self-love question
to ask yourself. What belief about myself is holding me back the most? Replace it with a positive
affirmation. I love that so much. Journal it and replace it with a positive affirmation that is
so good to reflect on yourself and really see what is holding you back before we get into
today's episode. I just want to thank you guys so much for always reposting Busy at Pretty over your
Instagram stories or over TikTok. It makes me so happy. I love always reposting your guys's
stories and I'm going to now start reposting as many stories and TikToks that you tag me and
Busy at Pretty in so I can repost them because they're just so cute. It makes me the happiest ever
to see you guys listening to the pod. But I just wanted to thank you guys so much for that. But without
further ado, let's get into today's episode. Today, we are going to talk about waking up as an it girl.
Yes, you are the it girl. As I've said before in the past, morning routines are so crucial for your
overall day. In a past episode, I explained how mornings play a big part in the 80-20 rule. So if you are
interested in learning about the 80-20 rule and how mornings play a part in the 80-20 rule,
listen to the 80-20 episode. Waking up as an it-girl looks different on everyone. It doesn't mean
you need to wake up at 5 a.m. every morning to go in a run or drink green juice after. Customizing
and creating your own personal morning routine is your it girl morning routine. It is your own
routine that makes you happy. Today, I'm going to share some tips with you how I personally
wake up as a knit girl. Prior to my mornings, I love to head to sleep as much as I can before
9 to 10. I am an early sleeper. Of course, I am a workaholic, so I end up staying up till 11 and
waking up too early, but lately I have been trying to go back to bed at 9 to 10 p.m.
because that is such a good time to get a long, long night's rest and wake up fresh and ready for the morning.
Before bed, I begin to imagine the life I want to live as I begin to fall asleep in the non-REM sleep stage one.
If you are unfamiliar with sleep stages, you could totally look up non-REM and REM sleep and it will explain what those sleep stages are.
Manifestation is at its absolute strongest when you begin to fall asleep before non-REM sleep
stage one, which is when your eyes are relaxed and closed and you're falling into sleep stage two.
Before you fall asleep, begin to imagine all the life that you want to live and all your goals and
accomplishments and dream as if you are living that life because manifestation is so strong
and it will help you condition your brain to subconsciously think you already have those manifestations.
So manifesting is so strong at that time before you fall asleep.
For the mornings, I have my alarm set for 6.30 until 8 o'clock.
Sometimes I'll be up by 6.30 or some days I wake up and I need the extra rest until 8 o'clock.
Today was an extra rest day because I knew I was going to be recording.
So I thought I'd sleep until 8 and I am a little.
So happy I did because 6.30 and a workout did not seem like my cup of tea today.
Oh, speaking of tea, I made a little London fog latte.
I just bought a really cute Starbucks cup that is white.
It was for their holiday sale and it's just so cute.
I am going to take this tea bag out really quick because it's starting to taste toxic.
Let's get back to the episode.
I am an early waker.
I love to be up around 6.30 to 8 depending on.
how much sleep I got that night, I will sleep in a little, or I will wake up earlier.
Once I wake up, I love to send my daily morning text messages to Ryan.
We have our little routines that we do, and one that is very important is always texting
each other, our long morning texts.
So I always do that as the first thing that I do.
Next, I write in my five-minute journal on my bedside table, which will allow me to start
my day off with gratitude and positivity. You do not need the five-minute journal to be positive and to
plan your day out. It's so easy to search up some simple journal prompts that you can do every morning
in a journal that you have. And yes, I am guilty of scrolling on my phone for a little every morning.
How can I not check TikTok for a little bit and Pinterest and Instagram, you know the drill.
I am definitely guilty of doing it. But after I get sick of my phone, I
get up and I brush my teeth. I love brushing my teeth as one of the first things I do in the
morning because I feel like it just wakes me up so much. And if I'm planning to work out,
I won't wash my face right away. I'll wash it after I workout. So just brushing my teeth
really just wakes me up in the morning. If it's a workout day, I begin stretching and doing some
yoga. Ab workouts and booty workouts are my absolute favorite. They are so fun to do. And Pilates,
makes me so happy. My favorite workout videos are from Pamela, Alexis Run, Victoria's Secret
models, Chloe Ting, and Lily. I think her last name is Sabri. But I love all their workout videos.
They are amazing. After working out, I always end in a nice stretch. I will search up some
post-workout stretch videos and it makes my body feel so nice and relaxed. I am always a nightly
shower taker, but sometimes if I get a really good sweat going, I will take a shower in the morning,
which I love taking showers in the morning because I will put my oliplex number three in my hair
and pin it up and then wash my face and then let it sit in my hair and do my task. And then later
I'll get to my shower. I will put on a podcast of a manifestation coach or a YouTube video and I will
begin making my bed and tidying up my room. I love listening.
to a positive and wellness podcast early in the morning because it really boosts my mood and
motivates myself for the day. After tidying up my room, I go to the kitchen to make myself some breakfast
because hot girls do not skip breakfast. We are not breakfast skippers. I always start my morning
by a green juice, whether it's a little wellness shot or green juice. I just love it and it feels
so good to get my great natural vitamins in the start of my day. I will then eat some breakfast.
I love to make some collagen oats, which are my very favorite, or I will make some yogurt
parfait with granola and fruit. I love making my breakfast look pretty, of course, because I'm
always busy at pretty, but I just adore making my breakfast look cute in a cute little bowl with
some cute little fruits. Just so adorable. After breakfast, I love to make a warm
matcha with oat milk and honey because it just is so nice to sip on while I begin my work in the
morning. How could I forget? I also love to take my vitamins, whether that's biotin vitamins and
vitamin D, vitamin C, whatever it is, I take all my vitamins in the morning. I like to try to be
off my phone during breakfast because I think it's really good to just be in the moment, look outside,
look at nature, look around. As someone who's on their phone all the time for work and on the
computer answering emails and all that, I do not enjoy being on my phone any more amount than I
need to be. So I really like to just be present in the moment, look around, look outside,
and maybe journal a little bit during breakfast, but whatever it is, I try to stay off my phone
as much as possible. Once I finish breakfast and am in my room, I love to scroll on Pinterest for a little
bit. It excites me so much about my future and it gets me ready for the day. I love that just a little
boost of motivation and Pinterest is such an easy mood booster. After breakfast and looking on
Pinterest and all of that, my oliplex number three has sat in long enough so I love to go hop in the
shower and wash my hair with my oliplex shampoo and conditioner. Then I love to wash my body with my
favorite soaps, which are necessary and native. They are literally my favorite. I just love morning
showers. They're so refreshing with the window cracked open so it gets a nice, cool breeze coming through.
It just makes me so happy to take a shower in the morning. I think I'm honestly going to start
taking morning showers, but how could I give up my nightly showers? I cannot go to bed with
outside body. If anyone gets the outside clothes on the bed, you understand me because outside clothes
cannot go on the bed. An outside body cannot go on the bed. I have to be showered as I wear my new
inside clothes into bed. I cannot skip a shower at night, so maybe I'll start taking a night and
morning shower. Next, I love to slip on my uniform, which is aka my Victoria's Secret yoga pants
and off-the-shoulder with my Victoria's Secret bra with my choice of Victoria's Secret panties
for the day. That is nothing new. Speaking of Victoria's Secret, there was the sale last night. I
had a little spending moment. My parents were so sweet and let me pick out a few items from
Victoria's Secret because I have been waiting for this sale and been so excited. I will post a little
hall once it delivers. After I get out of the shower and my entire little cute uniform's all
on, my pink Pilates princess uniform is set in place. We look adorable and I love to get my wet
hair and put some Gizu hair oil in it. It just smells amazing. I then do my skincare routine,
by brushing up my brows with my benefit brow gel. Whether I do makeup or no makeup at all,
my favorite thing to do is put some brow gel in because brow gel just looks so nice and
makes your face look so clean and classy, especially with the no makeup look. It's such a nice,
natural way to make your face look just so clean. I then love to slip on my fuzzy slippers.
I wear at home. They are my inside shoes and they're just so cute and comfy. I then love to put some
jewelry on because at home with jewelry makes me feel so nice and classy. No matter if I'm going out
or not, just jewelry for myself on is so cute and dainty and spraying some perfume in the morning,
Miss Dior right when I wake up, perfection. Then I dust, dust, and I dust. And I dust.
Buy a little $8 a duster from Amazon and it's so cute when the feathers are pink.
Like, how do I not want to dust?
I love dusting.
I dust every morning all around my room and it takes under five minutes and makes my room
just looks so clean and prevents you from needing to do big cleans often.
Usually I don't have any laundry that is needed to be done because I have already done it during my Sunday reset.
but if not, I will put some laundry in and start a load before I start doing my work.
I love to light a candle and make it super comfortable in my room because I work from home,
so I am constantly doing my emails and all my stuff from my computer and my phone in my room,
so I love to make it a nice environment.
Another thing I love doing is cracking my window open for some outside noise.
I think it's just so nice to hear the outside noise of any cars and everything.
It's like white noise to me.
Although the one downside of having your window cracked open is allergies.
I am having the worst allergies.
If anyone else struggles with allergies, you know what it feels like.
I don't know why this happens to me, but in the winter it's worst,
and my voice is crackly, and I already took allergy medicine this morning,
and it still has not kicked in yet anyways.
Tugging water is just so good and having a water bottle by you.
is so nice. I love drinking water throughout the day. It's so good for your body and your skin.
Hydration is just amazing. You can never get enough of it. Here is where I begin being busy yet pretty.
So first, I start off by reading off my planner. What have I planned out for today? What meetings
do I have? What stuff do I have to email? And what do I have to film today? So usually it's a full
book schedule. I'm lucky if I only have five things to do. I love to read off my planner and alter any other
tasks. Definitely planning in the morning is a crucial part of my day. The planner I have is amazing and so
simple. It was like $7 on Amazon. It's just a plain black planner and I love it so much. Next, I begin by
answering some emails. That's the first thing I do because if I need to send anything off and get
responses back immediately. I like to send them off so people aren't out of the office for lunch
or at the end of the day. So I think it's the best to send them off in the morning. And then I began to
create some content over TikTok or Instagram stories. I love to start off my day posting some
Instagram stories to show my breakfast or my matcha or whatever it is. If it's a day I plan to record
in an episode of Busy Yet Pretty, I really make sure I'm well rested because talking straight
for an hour to two hours drains your energy so, so much.
I make sure that I don't overwork myself in the morning and start the episode as early as I can.
This does not count as work to me because I love busy at Pretty.
I love talking to you guys.
After recording, it's a must I go to Starbucks and get my decaf, ice shakin espresso,
0.5 of vanilla, light ice, and decaf with oat milk, of course.
I go there with my entire Victoria's Secret outfit.
From head to ankles, I'm saying ankles because of boots on the feet,
but I just go there with my cute little pink Pilates princess outfit
and get my little ice chicken espresso and be a happy, sexy, busy, a pretty girl.
After Starbucks, that wraps up my quote morning routine where I then began to go eat lunch.
So that is how I spend my mornings.
It honestly makes me so happy.
I love my mornings.
The little things like going to Starbucks after recording my episode and all of that makes me feel
so happy because it's the little things that you can appreciate and do throughout your day.
You don't need to be traditionally productive to have a nice morning routine.
Your morning routine can consist of waking up at 10 and having a nice little walk and eating
breakfast.
That's perfect.
It doesn't need to be a wake up early, go to the gym, green juices every day, work out again,
That's not what being an it girl is.
Being an it girl is your personalized, custom, created morning routine that you made yourself.
Don't compare yourself to someone else's morning routine.
Everyone else has a different morning routine that fits them.
Enjoy your morning routine.
Enjoy the time you have for yourself.
Waking up as an eight girl looks different on everyone because everyone is their own individual
a little it girl, as well as having their own individual waking up as an it girl routine.
So don't be hard on yourself. What I'm preaching is to be happy and be grateful when you wake up
and that sets your mindset for the day. Create little routines and ways to make your morning well.
After Starbucks, that wraps up my quote morning routine where I then began to go eat lunch.
So that is how I spend my mornings. It honestly makes me so happy. I love my morning. I love my
mornings. Wake up. Have the mindset that you are going to take on the day and have a great day. Be thankful
for what you have in your life. Be grateful for what is coming to you soon. Manifest your life.
Your life is in your own hands. You can write your own story. Achieve the goals that you want to
achieve. Make your goals happen. Have a healthy mindset. Read off your daily affirmations.
Manifest your life. It's your life. It's your future. This is your life. Make your dreams happen.

Romanticize your life. It's only you at the end of the day. Make your life the way you want it to be.
