Hey everybody, this is Kirk Martin, founder of Celebrate Calm. This is a special message and a personal invitation to ask you to come meet us. We're going to be out on the road
Starting point is 00:02:30 and I'd love for you to come join us at a live workshop and for to come meet us. Meet Casey, meet me, ask any questions that you have. If you have a child, a strong-willed child who loves to argue about everything like a little future attorney, judge, and cop all rolled into one, who may struggle with being disorganized, forgetful, executive function issues, right? Some of these kids are very slow processors of information, struggle with social skills. Getting along with kids their own age is sometimes really tough. If they always kind of have to enforce justice and fairness, that's a really big deal. If they're controlling and bossy, if they cheat at games, right, because you can't play a game with them because they have to change rules of the game, cheat or quit, right? Some of these kids have difficulty with organizing
Starting point is 00:03:20 thoughts and writing. Anxiety is a big issue. Defiance, easily overwhelmed. Difficulty with transitions. Kids with sensory issues. Kids who like to do things the hard way. You know who I'm talking about. It's your kids. If they're like that, and if you struggle with this, come out and meet us. Because in the coming days and weeks, we're going to be in New Jersey. We're going to be on Long Island. We're going to be in Arlington, Virginia in the nation's capital in DC. They need some calm there. Stafford County, we're going to be in Front Royal, Virginia, Staunton, Virginia, Midlothian, Virginia. So Charlottesville, Richmond, Northern Virginia. Then we're heading down to Charleston. We're going to be in Atlanta, around Dallas, Texas, Ohio, Indiana.
Starting point is 00:04:13 A lot of different places. So what I wanted you to know is you're welcome to come to our workshops. We want you there. Most of these, you can find it at CelebrateCalm.com. Look up live events or free events, and you will see that almost every event is free. There's no need to register. You can bring your kids with you if you want. I don't want anything to keep you away from there. By the way, I hate when I post this on Facebook. People be like, oh, I'm going to try to get there. I'm like,
Starting point is 00:04:43 not, no. It's not, I'll try to. It's, I'm going to be there. Because if you just say, I'm going to try, something will always come up and keep you from it. I want you to be there. If you need to bring your kids because there's no other way for you to get there, bring your kids. If you want to bring your kids because you think it might help them, I think it may. Most of these kids feel very understood. And what they'll realize is for the first 30 minutes, we're going to talk about you, right? And they're going to be like, yes, my mom does that. My dad does that. And so it's very affirming for these kids. And they get to meet Casey, which is kind of cool because a lot of kids look up to Casey because he was them. He is them, the strong-willed child, and they get to see, hey,
Starting point is 00:05:26 get to grow up to be a pretty cool kid. So bring them out. Bring your spouse. Bring your friends. Make it a girl's night out if you want. I don't care. You can sneak in some wine. It doesn't matter to me, but just come on out. Bring teachers. Bring your occupational therapists. Occupational therapists and therapists, come on out. Anyway, we just want you there. They're usually an hour and a half to two hours, but they fly by. And I talk really fast, and I put a lot of good stuff in there. Come a little bit early if you can.
Starting point is 00:05:58 Casey and I usually get to events 20 to 30 minutes beforehand. We get all set up. Casey will be there handing out handouts out in the hallway to you. I'll be up front. Come up front. Usually the suite time for me is between like 10 to 12 minutes before the workshop or even whenever before it starts. Come up.
Starting point is 00:06:19 If you're shy, it's okay because I'm shy too. I'm an introvert. Come on up. We just stand awkwardly looking at each other. Kidding. Come up and talk to me and just say, hey, I listened to your podcast. Awesome. Thank you for coming out. What'd you come out for? And come and tell me one thing you want me to address or give me a question. I'll either answer it right then or I'll answer it during the presentation. I won't point you out, okay? But I want you to be there.
Starting point is 00:06:45 I'd love to meet you. It's kind of a cool thing to meet someone who, like you're sitting out there listening somewhere, and I'm here, and then you get to meet, and it's kind of a cool thing, and I really enjoy that, and I hopefully can help your family. So look us up at CelebrateCalm.com. Look for the event schedule.
Starting point is 00:07:04 Come on out. Bring people. Share our podcast with other parents and say, hey, this guy is, if you like us, this guy is pretty insightful and good. His stuff is really interesting. Listen to this podcast. And if you think it would be helpful, let's go that night and bring your kids or arrange or have your husband come. Some days we do like an evening and then a morning so that one parent comes out one time and the other comes out the other one. Anyway, we hope to see you there. I hope to meet you in person and spread the word.
Starting point is 00:07:34 If you want us to come to your area, just email Casey, C-A-S-E-Y at CelebrateCalm.com, Casey at CelebrateCalm.com and ask them and we'll set something up in your area. Anyway, hope to see you soon. Talk to you later. Bye-bye.
