Starting point is 00:00:00 Every step I take I move my truth. Every time they tell me stop I use. Every comment hate that makes my feel. Gather up my energy and boom. I hear them talking saying the way that I move it's so reckless. That is a part of my mind I've been blessed with. Giving my blood so I am relentless. All right.
Starting point is 00:00:16 Keep hammering collective. I'm not sure what addition this is. What is this? You just did the hunt, the elk hunt winner. Yeah. I mean, this can't be number five. This is like 4.5. Shit Talker is 4.5.
Starting point is 00:00:28 Oh, okay. This isn't a full. fled shit talkers. No. No. This is like, yeah. This is just given the people
Starting point is 00:00:35 what they want. They want it all. We do have some some fallout from shit talkers for. We do. Yeah, we have some controversy. Yeah, definitely.
Starting point is 00:00:48 It seems, what's interesting is we addressed the haters in the last one, and maybe it's created more haters. How does that work? We address them, give them what they want, that should be, okay, we're good now.
Starting point is 00:01:04 Yeah, the problem is then they go and find something else to be a hater about. It's like... They got the hater gene. Well, what did you find? I mean, I found somebody that was a little concerned about elbowing women. The thing was, is it's like, it just happened to be a woman, but if it was a guy, elbow that bitch. I mean, it's guys can be bitches too.
Starting point is 00:01:33 Yeah. Yeah, so that was just like a general, like if somebody is being obnoxious on a plane, especially wearing a mask and especially like ordering you around on what to do. They're a bitch. I mean, okay, it's shit talkers. We're not, we're not being literal. It's shit talkers. We're not elbowing anybody for God's sake. Yeah, it's clear there.
Starting point is 00:01:57 Nobody got elbows. I just punched her in the dick. So yeah, now that, I thought about that too, and that didn't sound great. I mean, if you take it out of context. Taken out of context. Yeah. And also, I had a reference, a bimbo reference, but I don't even know who that person would. That could be a good.
Starting point is 00:02:18 Probably was a guy because it was somebody you know. Yeah. And the good news is they are a bimba. And they are probably a guy. But so. I mean, I don't want it to, it seems like I talk shit about all sexes. I think equal. I think you talk more shit about men.
Starting point is 00:02:37 Oh, for sure. So. You know who should be upset? Non-binary. Yeah. Because there's like not getting any. My people. So I'm, I, if I apologize for anything, it's that.
Starting point is 00:02:52 Yeah. I need to include more hate for non-NBs. NBs. I'm going to put that in my Instagram bio. No, but I love women. People have talked about, or people, I've talked about how badass I think women are and they are the ultimate endurance athletes. Yeah, they're way tougher than men, so they can take an elbow. God.
Starting point is 00:03:18 No, that's never going to happen. That's just a shit talkers. That's like, kind of like, you know how. when you like a girl in school and you punch her in the arm. It's kind of like that. You wouldn't know her. She goes to a different school. Yeah, it's super hot, though.
Starting point is 00:03:34 Yeah. She's a model. She's a model. And she's in eighth grade. Wait. That was when you were in four. Right. Middle schoolish.
Starting point is 00:03:49 You're not talking now, are you? No. Okay. Good. This is just getting worse. This is supposed to be clear the air. Now we're just like digging more of a hole. I was going to say last time we said it, but it needs to be reiterated.
Starting point is 00:04:03 Shout out to everyone. Nice word. Reiterated? Is that not a word? No, if I had to read that for the audio book, that'd be fun. I've been practicing that one all day. Yeah, but no, shout out to everyone. Oh, big time.
Starting point is 00:04:18 It's all love. That should cover it. Yeah. What the fuck do people want? We said we love everyone. Yeah. It's like, do you think the, I was going to say, do you think that the crackhead guy that that domestically abuses his wife doesn't love her?
Starting point is 00:04:39 You know, it's all love. He just loves her so much that he hits. Oh, I should have worn a wife beat her for this one too. Yeah, I don't know if that helps our cause. Take that one out. but hey shout out to macy yeah she's getting good at this shit she said that one was hard what she said dozy no not a doozy rough oh l-o-l oh l-l oh rough yeah that's what it was rough yeah that's that was rough l-o-l but she did good she missed she missed a couple that could have got me in hot water
Starting point is 00:05:13 and that's that's who we're blaming you know it's macy's fault for not taking that out how could it be my fault for saying it obviously it's not my fault Come on. What are you thinking? Unbelievable. Yeah. Okay. But now that we've cleared the air,
Starting point is 00:05:28 I saw that you did a little spur of the moment run this weekend. Yeah. What was that? Oh, it's brutal. Is that in Junction City? Yeah. Kind of out there. Yeah, between Junction and Row.
Starting point is 00:05:41 But yeah, those are, I was going to have you guys go and film. Yeah. But then I'm like, I could actually shit the best. on this and get last because it hurts. Well, first of all, I'm old. I'm broken. So normally to run, if I take off from here, it takes me a few miles to get like, you know, this does me running. If you don't have video, that was me running, by the way. It's painful. So a race like this 8K,
Starting point is 00:06:23 is five miles basically balls to the wall. Nobody's like, hey, let's let Cam get warm up. So I have to go out of there. If I take off out of here and eight could be maybe be a nine minute mile depending on how stiff I am, that's usually what I'd start with. So that one took off five 40 some. And I felt like I was trying to hold back because I was, at that time i can fifth these guys are just flying so 540 some it uh it kind of starts off
Starting point is 00:07:03 downhill so you get going or barely down i mean if you had to look at it'd be like slowly falling grade but um yeah so it starts off and you kind of get maybe the pace going a little too quick then you go out two and a half miles do a turnaround come back and um the guy there who won it connor Smith, super fast, he's trying to break 230, he won last year also. I got second last year, this year I got third. Because there's this Craig Godwin guy who's a freaking age group
Starting point is 00:07:32 phenom, I don't know, some world champion master's age grouper. And he was flying. And I'm like, I mean, running so fast. So maybe by the end, I started to close in on him barely. I saw him look back one time, but he was
Starting point is 00:07:51 30 seconds ahead so it wasn't even close and we're going back uphill to because i said you start going down a little bit but i had this guy uh he's probably 30 he just won they had a shamrock 10k on monday for st patrick's day and he won that um so he's fast but last year i barely beat him this year he said he's in better shape and he just won that 10k and i was just like god so we're coming up and just like he would go up try to kind of break me a little bit I would come up hopefully he would drop back
Starting point is 00:08:32 he would come up and just like just freaking and it's slightly uphill trying to get rid of him he's trying to get rid of me then finally I was so close to just fourth is okay fourth third is really hurting me to try to get third And I was so close to almost just like, no, you got it.
Starting point is 00:08:54 And I just one more. And I heard him kind of, he didn't puke, but it was dry heat. Oh, no shit. So he was pushing with all he had. And then still, I beat him by a second. That's crazy. Yeah, it hurt so bad. What was your average split?
Starting point is 00:09:18 548s. Oh. Yeah. we had like a 539 in there. That's cooking. Yeah. Would you rather start going downhill or uphill, do you think? Because I feel like finishing going slightly uphill is brutal.
Starting point is 00:09:33 Yeah. I mean, other than you are going to the finish, so you know you're done. But, yeah, I don't know, starting going downhill, you get that leg turnover pretty quick. So you get used to run in a fast pace with a little help. Then by the end, you should be kind of integrative if you're not dying. Yeah. And I actually felt, you know, I looked at the third or fourth mile was at 539. And I was thinking to myself, I don't feel that bad.
Starting point is 00:10:03 I mean, I felt like I felt pretty damn good at that time. It's just trying to sustain that pace with a slight uphill grade. After five, you know, running five consecutive under six minute miles is for me. I thought that was my fastest five. miles before but I did run the Butte to be at one time and I got 3509 which was uh 540s so I did it at 6.2 running 540s with a mile uphill um so that's my fastest it has to be my fastest five mile time but this was my second fastest at you know almost 100 years old yeah when was that how old were you oh that was like 2014 oh okay damn that's good yeah
Starting point is 00:10:50 years ago. Yeah, I mean, I don't know, it's just all this, everything that I've been doing. I mean, the foot didn't feel too bad that day. That's always like kind of what's going to determine if I have a good run, but felt pretty good that day and then perfect weather. So, yeah, then went and did 10 miles on the mountain after that. Nice. Yeah, I saw that the video you posted with that guy. I know. Born and raised Eugene. This is Eugene right here. Yes, I've been here since 1974. Are you a Grateful Dead fan? Grateful Dead fan, yes.
Starting point is 00:11:24 I saw Grateful Dead even here at Concert and Eugene. Awesome. Love it. Well, what's your name? Gary. Good to meet you. That guy's awesome.
Starting point is 00:11:32 Total character. I see him all the time. Oh, do you? Yeah. I was wondering. I see him all the time and I ran past him. And then I was like, God dang it. I'm going to go get a video with this guy.
Starting point is 00:11:41 He's just an iconic figure of Eugene. He popped up in my feet. I was like, what is this? I know. I mean, If you're wearing those glasses and that outfit, you've got to be on video for somebody. He's like Eugene Snoop Dog. Something.
Starting point is 00:11:58 He's super nice guy. Seemed like it. Super nice guy. But yeah, that's Eugene right there. I did see the guy who won the L.A. marathon, the first American to win it in like 30-some years. Yeah, but he went to Montana State. Oh, really?
Starting point is 00:12:15 Yeah. Yeah, Montana State track athlete. You had a good run. It's like 207 or 209. 207, I think. Yeah, that's fast. Yeah, that's crazy fast. Yeah, that was a good run.
Starting point is 00:12:27 No, there's been, man, I don't know, been a lot of good performances. There's a Courtney just won a 50K, set a course record there, of course, which 419, I think that's her fast. So she's getting faster. Great. That's crazy. I told her, I texted her the other. day and I said, hey, for Cocodona, once you finish and rest up for a day or two, could you come back and pace me?
Starting point is 00:12:57 And then you can finish with me too. Gosh, she's unreal. That course that she broke the course record on, what is that course like? It's on the Cocodona course. Oh, no shit. Yeah. Okay. So, yeah, that's why she was called Crown King.
Starting point is 00:13:13 So it's one of the A stations at Cocodona. and she said she was down there basically checking out the course a little bit but also did that race and just set a quick course record just a quick one yeah she probably ran another 50k that day yeah no shit yeah not enough miles um did you see what they found under the pyramids no what was it what is the hidden city of atlantis oh no i don't know they uncovered these like they were calling it an underground city through the use of lidar they have discovered that there are enormous structures underneath the great pyramid that go kilometers deep into the earth 600 meters descending down those cylinders and then there's more stuff below it and then there's additional structures
Starting point is 00:14:02 inside of it yeah i don't know how we're going to have that in the pot are we going to have that in the podcast we could throw the yeah we get through the clips in the podcast i'll just throw it all in there because we uh yeah we just selected the winner for the elk elk hunt giveaway yeah that's gonna be safe Yeah, you guys will have to, well, it'll be on here, but no look. What's that? You did a no look. Oh, I know, yeah. No problem.
Starting point is 00:14:23 I'm actually going to try to kill a bull like that this year. And what was that? Like, that's like, I don't know, at least 50 yards, you know? It's closer to 100. I don't have my range finder. No, it's closer to 100, I think. Yeah. But yeah, it's a poke.
Starting point is 00:14:39 All right, this is the elk heaven, elk hunt giveaway. So I guarantee whoever. wins this hunt. It's going to be probably, I mean, it's going to be the best outkunt you've ever been on, unless you've been in this place before. But I'm guessing you haven't. One of these lucky people is going to win the best elk hunt of their life. Austin Thrasher from Indiana. Benjamin Kickeda. What is it? Kikta. Kikta. From PA. Dalton from New Mexico. And this is a free entry. So we always talk about how no purchase necessary to enter. This guy did it with just his email. And so we're going to get more details on him. But this no purchase, just free entry.
Starting point is 00:15:30 That's cool. It'd be cool if everybody won, but not everybody can win. It's only one winner. Blake McKinley, Washington, Caesar Acevedo, California. All right. So, one of these people is going to win this outcome, right? And we have a way to do this. It's going to be interesting. I'm going to shoot this target right here without looking at it, just focusing on the cosmos and we'll see what name I hit. How about that? That'd be kind of fun.
Starting point is 00:16:07 Because people always think that I'm picking these names. Of course, I'm not picking. Okay, here we go. We got the iron wheel is going to choose the winner of this incredible Alcon. Again, I wish I wish I could get away five of them to every person on there. This is the five finalists and I'll just say that we had I mean thousands of entries so a few thousand, but that's not that bad of odds. No purchase was necessary. You went a $20,000 out-cut. So I wish I could give away all five or five to all these finalists or I mean, I love sharing the wealth,
Starting point is 00:16:42 but we're going to start with one out-count right now. So I'm going to draw back the bow. and we're just I'm just trying to I don't know feel the force a little bit where where is the center of that target feels like it's getting close feels like I feel like I'm getting close to it am I or not come on baby I almost punch a trigger Let's see here. Did we get one? Oh yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:31 Yeah, ripped that, didn't it? Yep. So that's got, that is our free entry. Look at this. This guy right here, Dalton from New Mexico, you won the Al-Qa. So we got to get the details to this,
Starting point is 00:17:49 but yeah, the iron wheel took off the edge of that. Yeah, so there's a piece. got cut off. It's on the floor. That was a no look. So there's no way you can pretend that I knew what I was going to hit. I mean, yes, I am that good. I could if I wanted to, but I didn't. So, Donald, congratulations. Everybody else, thank you for participating. Thank you for ordering products. And, you know, doing stuff like this is a dream to be able to give back like this. and without you guys, it wouldn't be possible. So thank you.
Starting point is 00:18:26 Keep hammering. Yeah, we only have his first name because I don't know why. I got more. There's no last name, but I do have more information on him. Oh, you do? Yeah. It could be the only Dalton I know was in Roadhouse. Patrick Swayze.
Starting point is 00:18:43 Let's see. Dalton. We got his email and his phone number. Oh, we got to call him. Should we call him? That's right. I forgot. I got to call.
Starting point is 00:18:53 Don't I? Live on the podcast. Yeah, I forgot I forgot that was part of the deal. Don't forget to screen record. What's up, buddy? How are you doing? Guess what? You won a badass elk cunt. A $20,000 elk cunt. This is like, this is, I don't know how many, what kind of elk cunts you've been on, but it's one of the best I've ever been on and you're going. Really? Have you outkunded before? So, I mean, yeah, that'll be... Dude. Well, you... That'll be something.
Starting point is 00:19:42 Yeah, you won. And also, did you just... You didn't buy anything. You just sent in the email for free entry. Is that right? Yeah. Yeah. I was sending in the email like that.
Starting point is 00:19:57 Yeah. Bonus entries. Be honest with you, when I got the text yesterday... Yeah, this is like a fish on or something. I know. You can't trust anything nowadays. Yeah. So I didn't send my...
Starting point is 00:20:14 I saw that, yeah. I don't know. Yeah. So I just, how I did it was, we're sitting here. gym and I put the target up and I did a no look shot with a broadhead and hit your name. And it just says Dalton from New Mexico. So it's like, well, this is Dalton.
Starting point is 00:20:33 He won. No way. Yeah. What? 237 now. Man. Yeah, you're doing great. That's awesome, dude.
Starting point is 00:20:55 That's incredible. So you lost 200 pounds. How much were you for? I was 412. God. I was 412. Oh, I'm sorry. so pumped for you. And now, like, to celebrate that incredible accomplishment, now you're going to go on an
Starting point is 00:21:13 incredible elk hunt in Utah with Wild Country Outfaders. Are you pumped? Oh, man. Heck you out. Thank you so much. Yeah, of course. I mean, this means a lot to me. I don't know. And it's any weapon, so I don't know what you're going to do. Just make sure you're ready. And it's, we'll get you all the details to it. It's an amazing hunt, amazing people, and a lot of elk. Well, thank you, sir. Thank you so much. That's incredible. I'm so pumped for you, dude.
Starting point is 00:21:41 I'm so pumped. I'm glad you picked up. I know it's weird getting to FaceTime, but thank you for just following along and being a badass and keep up the great work, keep losing that weight. You're doing awesome. Yes, sir. Thank you, sir.
Starting point is 00:21:54 All right, brother. Well, have a great night. Congratulations. You're awesome. Thank you. See it. Bye. That's good.
Starting point is 00:22:00 That worked out awesome. Dalton, badass, lost almost 200 pounds. is going to go on a killer Elkhunt. Doesn't get better than that. No. Yeah. Man, that, dude, it feels so, it feels so crazy because I couldn't, I think I've talked about this before, I couldn't even dream of going on a hunt like that for most of my life.
Starting point is 00:22:23 And now I'm able to share that with others and share these trucks, these side by sides, these bows. So many, it doesn't even make sense, but I feel very. very lucky to be in this position. Yeah, I think it's, you know, a lot of people strive for like, oh, once I get there and I can do that for myself, but I feel like there's a next level. And that's once you've done it for yourself, being able to give it away to others, you know? Way better.
Starting point is 00:22:50 Yeah. Super cool. Yeah, way better. And Dalton seems super pumped. Yeah. Like a great guy. Man, that's exciting. I love it. So thank you all. I mean, as I said, couldn't do it without you guys. And I know everybody says that. sounds kind of cheesy, but it's 100% true. Yeah. You said you had a little factoid. Oh, I did.
Starting point is 00:23:14 Did you know? Let me think how this goes. There's more blood in a human penis than a rabbit. Did you know this? So, or the same amount. Hard or not? I'm going to say, I'm not sure. Also, it depends on the size of the piece.
Starting point is 00:23:37 penis would be my and the side of the rabbit. Yeah, I'm just, just generalities. So in case you were wondering, I got another question. How much blood is in, does that, is that little bunny rabbit? Does it have more blood than this, my rock hard member? And now you know they're very similar. So my rock hard throbbing member. Yeah. I mean, yeah, so it's just like, That was it. I want to know where one learns a factoid like that. Well, do you have to drain the blood out of your dick? I mean, how do you know?
Starting point is 00:24:22 I don't know. And I assume you could kill a rabbit if you had to. You can find out how much blood is in a rabbit. Yeah, definitely. But I don't know about the, yeah. You know, the more you know. Silly rabbit, tricks are for kids. That's what I say.
Starting point is 00:24:39 How did you find this? fun factoid um on another podcast the dicks and rabbits podcast yeah uh yeah cox and what are rabbits called bucks hairs another isn't it like a male rabbit a buck is it Larry Jamie fucking look this up on it I think it's a buck so bucks and cucks no bucks and cocks no bucks and cocks Bucks and cocks. If it's not a podcast, someone start it. Yeah. It's called a buck.
Starting point is 00:25:18 It's called a buck. A female rabbit is a doe. Right. There you go. That's two factoids. That makes rabbit hunting way more exciting. Yeah, got a big old buck. Got a big old buck rabbit.
Starting point is 00:25:31 Look at him push them doads. Oh, man. Yeah, he's running hard. See that neck all sold up? Connor, or sorry, Larry, look up a rutting season for rabbits.
Starting point is 00:25:44 Yeah. When did they bugle? Yeah. So anyway, there's two factoids for you guys. And that's no charge. That's a two-fer. That's no charge.
Starting point is 00:25:59 Mating season is late February to September. Damn. People really do it so like rabbits. Yeah, they get after it. They're getting there. reps in most of the year yeah that's intense well how much of the blood is in a rabbit's member though oh oh just comparing member to member yeah here's the chain there's more blood in a dick than a rabbit
Starting point is 00:26:24 and there's more blood in a rabbit's dick than a mouse and there's more blood in a mouse's dick than pop pop pop pop pop oh pop up is that your grandpa yeah click bang Oh, God. Man, I've had to apologize for some stuff I've said here. I apologize to you in person. I said something. I said something I think the kids would say out of pocket. Just so everyone knows it was my vote to keep it in.
Starting point is 00:27:03 Because this certain person you made a comment about is holding me back from being in a very cool club. What was? Oh, I know. Yeah, that's right. The DDC. I know, yeah. So I can see where you're torn. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:19 I can definitely see where you're torn. Just another example of him being selfish. Just remember on shit talkers weekly, anything goes. And it's all love. Can't take it personal. It's all love. Okay. The fuck do you guys want?
Starting point is 00:27:38 Come on. I'm, I'm, did you see how serious I was with, uh, Jesse? Exactly. Okay. Do I get credit for that? I didn't like, I didn't say anything inappropriate. No. And we didn't even do a, the peanut gallery didn't have anything inappropriate either.
Starting point is 00:27:55 You had no, no, Mary Kill? I know. We were just like, well, she's so smart and professional. I'm like, kind of sweating over here a little bit. Like, God dang. I'm not used to being around. I'm, you know, I'm used to being around. on this.
Starting point is 00:28:09 This. I'm not like these professional women. It's like, God, that is not my arena. That reminds me of when we went to the Mike Tyson, Jake Paul fight and we were at that, like, the private gathering. And there were a bunch of like 23-year-old millionaires that were, you know, software developers and used AI. And I just looked at you and I was like, I'm way too dumb to be in this room.
Starting point is 00:28:37 No kidding. You know, there's some. Sometimes you just somehow find yourself in a position where, how did I get here? That was one of them. Yeah. Well, something else that just, I remembered, we watched this show the other night called Temptation Island. Sounds good. Have you heard of it?
Starting point is 00:28:58 No. This is wild. What did they do? The concept is they get four couples that go to this island and the couples split up. The guys are staying in a house with 10 single women. women. And the girls with the couples, there's four of them, are staying in a house with 10 single men. And the whole concept is you can't talk to each other, but basically what happens is everybody f***s each other temptation, but then your partner has to watch video of it.
Starting point is 00:29:28 Whoa. That's where we're at. Wow. In society. Yeah. Oh, would you like that? That's rough. Yeah. I mean, makes you good, good TV. though. It does. There's a my favorite couple. It doesn't show them fuck. Now I really got to go watch. This one couple. The woman is like the only footage they have of her is her reading
Starting point is 00:29:52 her Bible in bed. And her partner is like having three sums. Wow. Something tells me they're not going to last. I don't think so. I mean. And every time he interviews it's like it's her fault. It sounds like it. It is, you know. Yeah. I mean, I don't.
Starting point is 00:30:10 he's you know the way he's a victim well that's what i say what people don't understand is men are victims well men are more sexual women are more emotional when you have more blood than a rabbit in your dick you got to use it what are you supposed to do you expect what do you suppose i mean this is genetics imagine compressing all that blood down into four and a half inches you know ladies don't know what that's like. There's a lot of pressure build up. For God's sake. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:45 I know I'm a victim. Yeah, me too. Larry, I know you had a joke. I do. I've got a good one. Can you get it out without a stutter? Take the headphones off. Come on, Larry, you can do it.
Starting point is 00:30:59 Lock in. I can do this. I'm a real boy. I'm a real boy. All right. Why did the sperm cross the road? Do not know.
Starting point is 00:31:11 You don't know. No? Mm-mm. Because I put on the wrong sock this morning. Yeah. You got to watch that. You got to watch that. You got to make sure you keep those socks separate.
Starting point is 00:31:29 Yeah. The one under your bed? Keep those ones under your bed. Silly Wabbit, that's my sock. Yeah, that one's crunchy. All right. Turn your mic. If people still like this shit talkers, we really have an issue.
Starting point is 00:31:50 I don't even know. I don't even know if the apology should stay in there because that's just going to draw attention to me saying elbow a bitch. We have to restart that. Which it was not a bitch in the bitch that you're thinking. No, people take everything so literally. No, it's just a weak, obnoxious person. Bingo.
Starting point is 00:32:14 A Karen. Yeah, a not, well, Karen. Yeah, no, there could be guy Karen. Yeah. Yeah. So yeah, it's just not, it's just somebody who's irritating. If you're irritating, you're a bitch. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:25 Sorry. And like you said, it could have been a guy and you would have said the same thing. Exactly. It's the behavior. It's not, not the, we love women. We love women. You look at like, I don't know. I mean, if I looked at my guest profile here,
Starting point is 00:32:40 it's got to be close to 50, 50 women and men. Mine's not. No, I mean, for the, the podcast. Oh, oh. Oh, okay. Yeah, no, yours is all guys. Well, your, yeah, your Grindr profile. 99. That's weird. Yeah, I've been on Grindr for a while and I have not come across one woman. That is crazy. I know, the sexist. I know. You got equality. I thought that's what we were all about. Yeah. Equality of outcome. Is that all you had? I did want to say for the, well, this is so out of section now.
Starting point is 00:33:22 but also were your thoughts on the training of AI voice. Because in my head, I was like, there's no way. No, I said, I don't want my fake voice out there for people just to rip off. What are we doing? That's the only thing that, you know, when you do, when I just read the book, my new book, if it's not my voice, it's not worth anything. People want to hear me. They want to hear maybe not all my imperfections, but some of us.
Starting point is 00:33:52 them the delivery it's like there's no way AI is going to be that no I just don't want yeah it's a weird time I just not going to sign off on my voice being out now because then you don't know what it's doing with it either you know that AI voice gets uploaded into some I don't know server or whatever and then anyone has access to your voice yeah did Larry have something else he looks like he's about to talk what's he doing back there I was just going to say uh we do have a See? See? Dude on your joke was so good.
Starting point is 00:34:28 It was seamless. I don't know I haven't rehearsed this. This is for the moment. Oh. We do have for the first time ever a new product coming out on Monday. Woo. Can we show them? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:39 Can we show them? I think we can. Give a little tease. Yeah. Ooh. Look at these. See those? So Larry said something about that these are like Ranger panties, which they kind of are.
Starting point is 00:34:51 but those red ones I've been wearing, we're just like a prototype. These are the real deal. So we got, that's a tight bull. He's right over there. That's him right there. We got blood.
Starting point is 00:35:04 We got a bloody arrow. What else do we got? We got a Hoyt bow. We got tracks. Tracks. Shorts are sick. Coming out on Monday. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:14 So these are going to be a big hit. I like these things. They do make you faster for anyone wondering. What are we calling those? Those are the strider short? Cascade. Did I say Cascade striders? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:27 And then what else? Oh, I got my new shoes. Yeah. So those just got here yesterday. So we're going to go do a little photo shoot. Photo shoot. Photo shoot. Oh, no.
Starting point is 00:35:39 What is that? Fashion show. Fashion show. Fashion show at work at lunch. Fuck. I did just watch. I have this girl coming. Lexi Poppus.
Starting point is 00:35:51 So ran at Oregon I went to the Olympics in 2016 made two movies at Oregon One called Tracktown She's in L.A. But she was just on, the reason why I thought of that is a fashion show, fashion show, fashion show at lunch. She was just on Dwight Shrews podcast.
Starting point is 00:36:14 Oh, really? Yeah. Oh, that's cool. And he's, I mean, he's smart, obviously. Yeah. She's super smart, which is going to be another problem for me um but anyway yeah so she's pumped she wants to shoot a bow she said she wants to hunt which is like you know i think she went to dartmouth and then over here to oregon for masters
Starting point is 00:36:32 and made movies and books and so smart but pretty cool so um yeah that that'll be fun but yeah we have some and then i got uh Shelby hulahan coming oh so she's a world silver medalist and And Adam, Juan Carlo. Yeah. Was that the right pronunciation on that name? I couldn't say it like that again if I tried. No.
Starting point is 00:37:11 We have Adam coming. We've got to check on the pronunciation on the name, but a motocross guy. Yeah. We're going to be up at Supercross this weekend. And I don't even know. I don't know what I'm doing. but we've talked about me shooting live to start.
Starting point is 00:37:30 I don't even know this is going to happen. But so I tried to dig out a bow today to see if I remember which way to pull it back and shoot, see how it worked. You're going to shoot no look there too? Yeah. I mean, it's, it's sited in from the last time I took it out. So it should be good. It's like a gun, isn't it? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:37:45 It's like riding a bike. Yeah, so that'll be fun. But yeah, I really appreciate all the feedback I got on the shit talkers for. us talking about loyalty and just a business aspect of just what I do and, you know, whatever. People have lots of comments and lots of opinions, but they're not in my position. So that's maybe something we should say. We do talk about the haters a lot, but there was also a lot of positive feedback as well. Yeah. I had a couple people DM me and saying, you know, they really appreciated your perspective on the business side of things. So there are positive comments out there.
Starting point is 00:38:25 Yeah, you just always, yeah, as we've talked about, you focus on the negative. But yeah, the whole journey, this journey has been crazy for me. It's been, you know, like I said, 30-some years over three decades of trying to always, from my first kill wanting to be a writer and share my story. So that was an 89. And during those times, it's like everybody has an opinion on what they'd do or how they'd handle it or this or that. And it's just, you know, when I think about, um,
Starting point is 00:38:55 the process and just the work and the sacrifice you know that's partly why i do what i do is like i got a family i got you guys who work for me people are relying on me to make good decisions and uh i just can't you know when i had a full-time job the hunting was just like whatever i had a job to pay the bills well now this is what i do and like i said i got i got employees and i've got you know You know, I have a wife and kids, and they rely on me to be like, okay, I'm not taking chances. I'm going to make good decisions. This is a business. I got to run it like a business.
Starting point is 00:39:39 And some people understand that, but I don't think anybody, and I can't really expect them to understand the sacrifice that went along the way. And really, there's been a lot of disappointment. I talked about, you know, some of these companies that never paid me and whatever. I mean, I was even thinking about that later. I'm like, God, did Yeti pay me? I mean, they didn't. But I'm not perfect. I could have forgot some of this stuff.
Starting point is 00:40:05 But I just know that along the way, I've had a lot of, I mean, hard, painful decisions. I left Eastman's in 2008. That was like a dream job for me. But, you know, how I was growing in my career. and it was just, it was just, I didn't really know how to navigate that. So at that time, they were paying me like $40,000 to be the editor.
Starting point is 00:40:32 And I walked away from that. Then I went to Rocky Mountain Oak Foundation. I was a host of their show. And they said, I don't know, I'm not the easiest person to work with, but they also said that, you know, if you're going to be the host of the show, then you got to switch.
Starting point is 00:40:48 I was shooting a Hoyt at that time. They said, you got to shoot PSC because they're the bow sponsor. and I said, yeah, I don't switch because of stuff like that. I use what I believe in. They said, well, it can't be the host of the show. And I said, okay. And I wasn't.
Starting point is 00:41:02 So that was it. So that was another 40 grand opportunity, which to me, these are big deals, not just money, but just finally, to me, it was like finally this reward of this dream and this work. It's like, it's finally happening. And then to have to quit and give up on those. And then, like I had hunts, offered like oh you want to go to africa we're going to do this and i'm like africa are you kidding me this is going to be incredible never hear about it again people say all sorts of empty promises
Starting point is 00:41:30 you know there's always always stuff that comes comes up so when you go through like when you navigate things like that as you're chasing this dream and you think this is fine okay this is what i finally been working for then that gets pulled out from under you it's like i i can't really blame people for not getting it or not understanding where I'm coming from. But I mean, I guess that's why that's why you just, if somebody feels the way they do, you just got to validate them and just, you don't know why they feel that way, but there's got to be a reason. And to get to where I'm at now, and like, now I'm like, after always being subjected to other people and this it's like even to write an article i had to have an editor say i was good enough to do it
Starting point is 00:42:22 then put it in there or to be on a tv show i had to have people that gave me the opportunity well now i don't need anybody which is good and bad because now i got a mic i can say whatever i want and it's like now i'm like could somebody like maybe rain me in on some of this stuff because this is what you just see happens but i've always just wanted the opportunity just to tell my own story, to write my own story, to use my own words, not have anybody say, yeah, you can't say that, you can't do that. You can't, you shouldn't feel that way. You shouldn't, or if you do feel that way, you shouldn't express it that way. Now it's just me. I say whatever the fuck I want. And it's like, you might get it. You might not get it.
Starting point is 00:43:05 You might sympathize. You might understand or you might not. And that's okay. Yeah. This is just, this is 30 some years of doing this and trying to do it the right way. Have I been perfect? No. I am not the easiest person to work with. Some of these people that haven't paid me or fired or not fired me, I quit everywhere. But I quit because it's like turned into a disaster. But I can't blame them.
Starting point is 00:43:32 I can't, you know, some of it, I can't really blame them because I'm not normal. I mean, it's like I just how I, what I want in my vision is not normal. Yeah. And the other thing is, too, is like where you're at now, who knows had that not happened, if you'd be where you're at now, you know? Yeah. Every turn, every road, every choice you made led to here.
Starting point is 00:43:58 Yeah, I mean, it's like, you know, I think about now, like how well I'm running, even though I got to get foot. And you think about, God, what if I could have dedicated? Because Truis is in a good position now. He's just training every day. It's being compensated. And I think, man, what if when I was in my 20s,
Starting point is 00:44:15 or what if my dad was around and he, you know, was kind of how I push my boys. What if somebody pushed me like that? What could I have done running? Because I'm running good for being old as hell. But you think about what could it have been. When I think about that, I'm just like, well, that would have been just for me. What it was was I had to be a dad.
Starting point is 00:44:39 I had to have a job and I had to do the best I could. But my focus was raising these kids to be winners, raising them, to be just to be the best they can be. And so it wasn't about how good a runner I could be and what I could achieve personally. It was about no, I need to lead this family and show the be the example for these boys and my daughter. And so yeah, sometimes the personal stuff
Starting point is 00:45:08 goes by the wayside, but you think back and you're like, man, I don't know, who knows what it could have been, but just gotta feel good where we're at now. And right now I feel really good about what we're producing, where we're at, how the business is going, but it's not without speed bumps.
Starting point is 00:45:29 It's not with that. Every day, there's something happening. Every day I get fired. It is freaking, every day is something. But that just goes to the territory. I mean, you guys are listening. I don't know why you listen to the shit talkers, but everybody seems to like it.
Starting point is 00:45:48 So, yeah. I mean, we got some incredible guests coming up. Yeah. And I just, I can't believe we're, we're able to do this and we're being so successful. Yeah, I know. It's, uh, often I look around and I, I just wonder, you know, how I got in a room with all these people, you know, a lot of the time, um, especially when we were at the, the motor center with jelly and that was super cool.
Starting point is 00:46:12 And the next day, we went to the penitentiary. And, uh, yeah, it's, uh, it's pretty special. Mm-hmm. Yeah. We got, you know, there's, there's challenges every day, but we got to feel grateful. Yeah. We feel lucky with where we're at. And so I just want you guys to know that.
Starting point is 00:46:27 I mean, yes, we're giving away cool stuff. I'm sharing with you all the successes and pitfalls of business, but, and maybe some of my sponsors might not like as honest as I've been. And maybe it's, this is my perspective is, but it is what it is. And I'm just going to say how I feel. and you know i think that's maybe people didn't want me to have a platform because i say crazy shit but well at least we got some amount of sustenance out of this barely but yeah thank you guys that was fun doing the the whole point to this one was doing the elkhunt giveaway we did that dalton's a badass i'm pumped for him um and then other than that it's just thank you and we're just
Starting point is 00:47:16 going to keep doing this and keep giving more stuff away and keep kicking ass sweet appreciate y'all that's all folks that's all folks keep hammering guys
