Starting point is 00:00:00 Every step I take, I move my truth. Every time they tell me stop I use. Every comment hate that makes my feel. Gather up my energy and boom. I hear them talking, saying the way that I'm moving so reckless. That is a part of my mind I've been blessed with. Giving my blood so I am relentless. All right.
Starting point is 00:00:16 This is the Keep Cremarin Collective Q&A special edition. Did did it with Gideon. This just in. Whop, wow, fwap, that was good. That was good. have anything just in? Venezuela. Just the tip.
Starting point is 00:00:35 Just the tip's in. I know. Yeah, we fucking took over that shit. Kind of sick. Well, I guess it's how you look at it. I mean,
Starting point is 00:00:48 an idea, in theory, you know, us just dropping in and kidnapping their president to me is like, yeah. I bet the guys were excited
Starting point is 00:00:57 to get some action. Oh, yeah. The guys were fucking, probably loving that shit. They live for that. Hey, they're the best of the world at it. So good. I don't know anything about it, really.
Starting point is 00:01:08 Was this a fentanyl thing? Or what is this for? Because... Or we just want to do it. Because the Venezuelan president is... It's a dictatorship. Yeah, there's a lot of those. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:01:20 I mean... I still know who we can blame. I mean, North Korea is it, you know, Putin? I mean, how can we didn't take over those places? That's a great question. I think maybe this was AI, but I saw an interview with him like a week ago and he was like, Trump, if you want me, come and get me. Okay. Well, I did that. Yeah, you got to watch who you say that to. There's some people who are just fucking nuts and we'll just do whatever.
Starting point is 00:01:54 I did see someone made like AI images of the raid, like once he was captured. And it was like a bunch of blurred faces except for Tim Kennedy and LeBron. LeBron was there? Yeah. Because LeBron's always like, oh, yeah, I was there. Oh, yeah. Oh, for everything that ever happened. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:15 When Kobe scored 81. Yeah. When LeBron won a six, or not LeBron. Jordan won his six rings. Yeah, exactly. I'm surprised. Yeah, it's good. Well, we can't get too off topic here.
Starting point is 00:02:29 We got a Q&A, and we got some really good questions from our dog humans. Yeah, just when I thought I understood, like the, yeah, I don't. I don't. I don't understand. I, okay, here's the thing. People have accused me of having an ego before, right? I think I'm fucking retarded. And I have no idea why I'm, why I've had any success.
Starting point is 00:02:59 I feel like I've worked fairly hard, but a lot of people work hard. Sure. You're not special because you work hard. Yeah. So I'm not trying to say, I don't want to, I never want to pretend like I'm, I mean, I'm not educated. I'm not, I've never had money. I've never had any reason to have an ego, but I guess you don't need to. But I never, I've tried to really, like, I don't know if I have any strengths, but playing
Starting point is 00:03:29 him down. But when I read some of this shit, I'm just like I am if these guys are normal Americans, I'm a fucking genius. I am the smartest retard out there, I guess. I can't see the profile pictures, but
Starting point is 00:03:47 it seems like these questions were asked by a bunch of Somalians. I heard their IQ's like average of 60 or something. Yeah. Which, I mean, they don't know how to spell learning. Did you see that?
Starting point is 00:04:04 Yeah. How? That is a whole, we can get into that on shit talkers. Yeah, let's save that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But the point is, I never wanted to act like I was better than anybody, but I am better than a lot of idiots out there. Yeah, and I think I was going to say the same thing.
Starting point is 00:04:21 And also, is this technically shit talk? This is like a spin-off of shit-talkers, right? So it's still all love. Well, no, this is like, you know how you, Okay, you know how Rip and what's her, Beth have, they have a spinoff series of Yellowstone? Yeah. That's what this is. Okay.
Starting point is 00:04:38 This is our spin. This is like Rip and Beth's spin off. Q&A. You still can't take anything we say. No, no. The disclaimer still applies. Yeah. Right.
Starting point is 00:04:51 We're covered. No, yeah. I mean, there's nothing like, it could be held liable for any reason. I think Spotify sends you a warning to you have to sign a, a waiver before you listen to us. So we're in the clear. No big deal. Is it the waiver that Dan Crenshaw didn't want to sign for Sean Ryan's show?
Starting point is 00:05:07 Because I'm not signing that either. God, I'm so sick of that. Have you even like followed up or saw any of that? Yeah, not Crenshaw's, but I listened to Hunter Bidens because I was like, what the fuck's going on here? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:27 I don't know. So anyway, there's some beef with a, Oh, how was that one, by the way? One thing I really like about, well, I like a lot of things about Joe, but I feel like he does a good job of asking uncomfortable questions, even if he's sitting across from the person. And I don't feel like Sean did that with Hunter Biden.
Starting point is 00:05:48 I feel like there was a little bit of like, you know, we're sitting in a room, I'll just be nice. Yeah. And I wanted, because he was saying a lot of shit that was like, Joe. It could have dove in on. Yeah, he's like, you know, things that are important to me, my family, my faith, my friends.
Starting point is 00:06:06 I was like, hmm. Drugs ever come in there? Yeah, but no, I didn't listen to that one. Losing his family. Or putting, yeah, being a crackhead. Being the world's most famous piece of shit. Yeah. But it all sounds good.
Starting point is 00:06:22 All the other stuff sounded good. Yeah. All stuff for that live, love, laugh, sign bullshit that people. I love that. Yeah. Put that right above my kitchen. I think that's from Hunter Biden. That's his quote.
Starting point is 00:06:34 This is a House of Joy. Yeah, well, they're throwing a full beer bottle at their old lady's head. You dumb bitch. House of Joy. You straighten up that sign. Beer bottle to stick that out. Or I'll throw another one. But no, what's the beef with Crenshaw?
Starting point is 00:06:56 Oh, I don't know. I mean, one of the hardest. parts of hunting is glassing big country to find animals you know are there. That's why I run Sig Sauer Zulu imaging stabilizing binoculars when I'm covering a lot of ground and need to see everything. These binoes are a complete game changer. After long climbs, when your heart rates up and your hands aren't steady, shaky glass makes it hard to stay locked in. With image stabilization, everything settles down. You can slow the process, really pick apart the country and catch movement you normally miss. I found more animals and saved a ton of time because
Starting point is 00:07:35 of these binos. I actually just talked about how impressive this technology is on the most recent episode of the Joe Rogan experience. Once you use stabilized glass, it's hard to go back. It gives you a real advantage when you're hunting big open terrain. And here's the rare part. Optics companies almost never offer discounts, but Sig is giving listeners of this podcast 10% off. Just use code cam at checkout. So if you're serious about glassing and want the same edge I've had the past couple of seasons, head to sigsour.com. Grab a pair of Zulu Binoos and use code cam for 10% off.
Starting point is 00:08:13 Sig Sauer Zulu binoculars. See more, miss less, keep hammering. All right, hunters, listen up. Hunting season's here and the last thing you want is to tap out before the action starts. That's why I'm dialing in with Mountain Ops Ignite. Ignite isn't your average energy drink. It delivers smooth, long-lasting energy, no jitters, plus mental clarity that cuts through the backcountry fog. Powered by amino acids and brain blend of neutropics and 200 milligrams of clean caffeine, Ignite keeps you sharp and pushing hard mile after mile. Whether you're glassing ridges, packing in before dawn, or heading to elk camp, one scoop in your bottle and you're locked in.
Starting point is 00:08:53 It's my go-to, every hunt, every hike, every long drive. And Mountain Ops isn't just about performance. They're mission driven. Every purchase helps feed families in need through Operation Conquer Hunger. Right now, you can get 20% off your purchase. Just go to Mountain Ops.com and use code cam at checkout. This season, don't settle for sluggish. Ignite the hunt.
Starting point is 00:09:15 Those military guys are always beefing about something. But Crenshaw, I think it was because he's, you know, like Richard than Elon Musk makes like 20 bucks an hour as a congressman. Some people wonder how these politicians make that much money based on their salary. And, you know, whether they're being tipped off on different things. Like Pelosi's pretty rich. Well, I would just say if an app has been created so that you can just follow all the investments Nancy Pelosi makes and it's up exponentially,
Starting point is 00:09:54 Yeah. Something's probably going on there. Right. So he's had the same type of luck on the stock market, apparently. Smart. Smart, very smart. But I don't know. So I think Sean was going to ask that.
Starting point is 00:10:07 There's always this back and forth, just kind of dick measuring with, I mean, it's no different than hunting. It is different than hunting, but it's military. And they have their own. They're very competitive. So it's just that. And then also then there's, when you're a politician, you're, held to a certain standard. So I think Sean just wants to ask him about that.
Starting point is 00:10:30 Then I think there's been, you know, maybe shit talking from about each other's records, like military records. I don't know. I don't know. I'm not, like I said, I'm not really up on it, but I just know that Crenshaw didn't want to sign the release
Starting point is 00:10:47 to go on there. So it turned into this big, both making posts about it. Oh, that's fun. I'm like, well, you know how you can avoid it? just don't have a release like us. Yeah. Anything goes.
Starting point is 00:10:58 I know. So I probably will be sued for something. And then I'll be like, they'll ask, did you have your guest sign a release? Yeah, they sign releases, right? Yeah. Yeah. I mean. Of course they, of course they do.
Starting point is 00:11:13 You think we would let them carry the rock without signing a release? Yeah, be injured and sue us. Yeah. So I'm not the one to ask or to call anybody out on this shit. I don't know. I just wanted to hear it. Yeah. I wanted to hear the, the, whatever.
Starting point is 00:11:27 I feel like that buildup would make for a better episode. Yeah, not, I was looking forward to it. Yeah. But then it was supposed to be today, I think. Mm. And then, of course, I don't think happened. I don't know. Well, interesting.
Starting point is 00:11:38 Well, we can get into some questions I've got a really good one to start it off with. Okay. Rashid. Okay. Rashid Wallace, you know who that is? No. Played for the Blazers. Oh.
Starting point is 00:11:54 That's a. that from him that's i'm going to use that poll because i i tried to play this game the other day you have to name one player from every team in history just one from any time but you can't rename any players yeah so like so i got through all of them you can't reuse players but i got through all of them and then failed on a team i forgot existed uh memphis grisleys are are they right now is are they the Memphis grisleys or what are they now because they're still the they're still the Memphis grisleys yeah you don't know job That's who I didn't name.
Starting point is 00:12:28 And I was like, oh, I didn't realize he played for them. Yeah, okay. I don't know anybody else. I know. But I know him. I was like, all right, give me a player. And they were like, John Morant. I was like, damn.
Starting point is 00:12:37 Yeah, that should have been an easy one. Yeah. But anyways, so Rashid Khan asks, and this is a really good question. So you might want to finish that sip. Okay. Huh. That's it? He just typed in H-U.
Starting point is 00:12:56 So what do you think about that? I, I think that's a great question. Yeah. And it actually leads me down a path. I didn't intend to go down. I want to talk about my childhood. And how I felt underappreciated.
Starting point is 00:13:16 How you were touched. No, that's you. Oh, right. Okay. Yeah. Now, that's all I had. PJ Nagera asked, what's on your reading list this year?
Starting point is 00:13:28 I think a better question would be, do you read? Can you read? Yeah. Well, I've still been trying to read the Bible. So I did get through an entire chapter. So that's pretty good, Proverbs. Yeah, so anyway, I don't know. The Bible.
Starting point is 00:13:46 Yeah. I feel that that's a good one. Have you seen that Leo Skeppy guy? He's like a big bald guy. I think he might be gay. But anyways, he's been like reading the Bible. and it's been going super viral. Yeah?
Starting point is 00:14:01 Because he's been like a person in the past that you wouldn't expect to read the Bible, but as he's reading it, a lot of things are like kind of hitting home with him, and he's like changing things about his life because of it. But anyways, it just reminded me of that. Oh, no. Okay.
Starting point is 00:14:16 I'm waiting for something to hit home. Sean out there asks, will you continue doing ultras for the foreseeable future? I guess. I mean, I like running. I like testing myself. At what point do you think you stop running ultras? Hopefully when I die and hopefully that's soon.
Starting point is 00:14:40 At my age, it could happen any second. But no, I don't, I, other than today, tonight on my run, I still feel pretty good. When I think about running or when I watch running videos, I feel good. when I'm actually running, I don't feel that great. Yeah. Me either. Well, you got big goals coming up, though. I know.
Starting point is 00:15:04 Yeah. That's why I'm running. But every time I step out the door, I'm like, yeah. I'm like, I need, do people like on steroids just feel like strong all the time and just like bouncy and light? Because I was like, I do not feel like. I feel like no bouncy, no strong, no nothing.
Starting point is 00:15:31 Yeah. I feel like a jellyfish. I did like running five miles the other day and just didn't look at my watch the whole time, just ran based off how I felt. I was like, damn, I felt really good. I feel like that was a good run. Six minute miles? Five minute miles?
Starting point is 00:15:47 It's like eight fifty ones. That should feel good. That should feel really good. Okay. So it turns out I do need to look at my watch. Yeah. Shit. Hopefully Trouis not taking that approach for his buildup on this next goal.
Starting point is 00:16:01 Yeah, it was like, was I running? I can't remember. Okay, well, in the same kind of... Same vein. Same vein. Thank you. Yeah, I was going to mess it up and make it a gidium. Kyle Hotlet, Holtett, asks,
Starting point is 00:16:14 would you ever consider a last man standing race? I've done one, so I guess I have considered it. But in the future. Oh. Sure? Yeah, I don't... Yeah, I did. Let's see, I did one, I think a couple years ago and I went 55 miles.
Starting point is 00:16:35 It was like kind of a weird one. It's like, it's five miles. So it's a little longer. And I think, well, one, it was 70. So it wasn't even too crazy. It's a little, I don't know, that mile, normally those are like 4.1. That extra mile makes a difference when you start to get fatigued. But, and then I think this year I did it.
Starting point is 00:16:58 and I did 40 miles maybe I just like had a goal I hadn't been running it was after coca donna and I hadn't run in a month and then I went and did it it's like first week of June and I think I did 40 miles so it's like I've done them but not like it not like honor the true last man standing not a marked out old edition no he's a he's he is good yeah well we're gonna talk I got a little bit to talk about him because he made a post we'll do this on shit talkers but made a post about minnesota and the state there at the moment the smolians oh did he yeah and caught a lot of heat for it really yeah so okay tune in um oh i like this question carl ostapyuk asks what is your in and out order now we're talking pretty pretty straightforward same as mcdonalds same
Starting point is 00:17:53 as burger king same as anywhere two plain burgers meat and a bun, nothing else, no funny business, plain and dry, no cheese, no secret sauce, no little bits of onion if you're at McDonald's and fries and a large diet. Yeah, how you order that is you just say, I'll take a hamburger depressed style. Yes, exactly. Sad and depressed. Yeah, those things are fucking thin and light. I mean, that's how you know, you go in the bag, you reach it in the bag and you're like,
Starting point is 00:18:27 the lightest nothingness burger, that's mine. Yeah. I'm two double doubles. That's some meat, son. So that's four patties. Who had a million patties? Who was that? Was that Tanner?
Starting point is 00:18:48 I think it was me. Was it? So you had like, how many patties was that? In a short term, it was like seven patties? or something. Yeah. Going down, right? Is that what it was? Because we had burgers when we got there. Yeah. Where was this? At
Starting point is 00:19:05 Powers. Oh, that's what it was. Yeah. Yeah, that's what it was. Yeah, so in and out on the way, in and out, or like the code there, in and out on the way back. Yeah, it was. Yeah. It was a lot. That's a lot. But when I go to five guys, I get the double cheeseburger with an extra patty.
Starting point is 00:19:27 So three. But just one. Just one. Oh, see. I'm not putting down two. Okay. See, that's only three as opposed to four. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:35 It's not so bad. It's science. Yeah. Not sponsored. I wish. Gay, gay, gay. Mm-hmm. There's a lot of those.
Starting point is 00:19:44 Yeah. Okay. Real quick. We tell you guys every time to ask good questions. And I have not seen an uptick in a quality of questions. Dog humans. It's all love. Look, we love our dogs.
Starting point is 00:20:00 I love dogs, dude. I love dogs. Yeah, I love dogs. Yeah, I love humans. I just don't know if I love dog humans. Depends, yeah, depends. Depends how they show it. How they show what?
Starting point is 00:20:13 Their dog humanness. Oh, yeah. If they just always want to fuck. They're always hump in their bed. Yeah. Like in the morning when you wake up with a heart on. Yeah, then that's fine. eating your own shit, not fine.
Starting point is 00:20:27 See? We have standards. Ketone IQ is now backed by research from KU. Lujan and Team Vizma. Ketone IQ is showing powerful results in helping your body bounce back quicker and push harder, especially in tough, low oxygen conditions. Here's what the science says. Number one, ketone support EPO production.
Starting point is 00:20:48 Yes, you heard that right. EPO. That's a hormone that boost red blood cell count and helps deliver more oxygen to your muscles. Two, they improve blood flow and vasodilation getting oxygen and nutrients where you need them faster. Three, and also, they enhance brain oxygenation for better endurance, sharper focus, and quicker recovery. Whether you're an endurance athlete, a weekend warrior, or just someone who trains with purpose, ketone IQ is edge your body's been waiting for. Starting point is 00:21:24 and 30% off your first purchase. Hoyt began with a dream and a simple desire. Create the best bow hunting and target archery equipment possible, and since 1931, that is exactly what they've been doing. I'm skeptical every year that this year's bow will be better than last years, yet somehow their engineers seem to figure it out. I think what sets them apart is their engineers are all avid hunters themselves, so they take their bows in the field every year with intent to make.
Starting point is 00:21:54 them stronger, faster, and more accurate. Hoyt is actually my lifetime Bose sponsor. That is how much I believe in them. Their products and their drive to always be the best. Hoyt is giving listeners of this podcast 20% off products in their store with code cam. Sorry, it doesn't work on bows, but it does work on accessories, including quivers, rest, and my favorite, the go stick. That's code cam at checkout at hoit.com.
Starting point is 00:22:22 This guy, Ben Creek, says, how do you do it all? You're an inspiration to so many. You have helped pull me from the darkness. Thank you. Man, don't know. One day at a time. I don't know how I... Yeah, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:22:41 I don't even know. I'm a piece of shit that just tries to not be a piece of shit every day. That's what I say. That's it. my girlfriend has like, hey, I don't really like that you do this. I go, I get it. I'm a piece of shit. Yeah, I mean, I'm sure you don't.
Starting point is 00:22:57 I don't like it. I do it either, actually, to be honest. I wish I could stop. Oh, fine. I'll kill myself. Because that's our options. I'm either like that or I'm dead. So which one?
Starting point is 00:23:09 You can't have it all. Yeah, I have no fucking clue, dude. I'm not the advice. This is crazy because I'm like the last person anybody who's want advice from. Yeah. Well, no. You can understand it with you. What I don't get is when people ask me for advice.
Starting point is 00:23:25 Yeah. Well. That's fucking nuts. You got to be in a bad. I don't think so. Dude, you're, you're, what are you, 27? Yeah. 27.
Starting point is 00:23:36 I was such a fuck up. You're actually pretty squared away for 27. But think about the other 27 year olds we've had on and it's like, oh yeah. Yeah. So, you know, he's just making baller moves forever and just, meeting with the president, Bingey.
Starting point is 00:23:55 Well, I don't, I didn't want to do that anyways. No. Well, so they offered to me. They offered it to me first. Yeah, yeah, yeah, of course. I said, I'm not a big guy. You know, I'm not big into the spotlight.
Starting point is 00:24:03 So. Yeah. Respectfully. Have bingy. He might, he might be the best. Maybe too much. After me.
Starting point is 00:24:13 Yeah. Maybe too much. Yeah. Too good? Yeah, I can't really relate to him. Someone would say too good? You know? Someone would say not good enough?
Starting point is 00:24:19 Trying to beat Trump. I don't know how to. Yeah, that was a bad example. Normally he talks about it like, maybe too many Asians. Some would say too many. He's a great guy. Yeah. That was more like Shane Gillis.
Starting point is 00:24:42 I just saw a picture of Shane Gill. Was he at Zach Bryan's wedding? I think he was. Yeah, Zach Brian got married. I saw that. And she looks, she is, his exes doppelganger. Brittany chicken fry or whatever her name is? Brianna.
Starting point is 00:24:56 Oh, Brianna chicken fry. Yeah. that is that my massage girl yeah Brianna chicken fry oh i thought that name sounded familiar okay um yeah i know they look similar yeah yeah pretty it's pretty bad anyway Shane was there i think oh i didn't know that that's kind of why they were both in a tuck so i don't know where it was oh yeah yeah with um sack brine no some guy was laying on the pavement oh i didn't see that I can't remember. Anyways.
Starting point is 00:25:28 Slick-mouthed BBQ asks, what's the name of the good Mexican restaurant in Eugene? Chapalas, baby. Chapalas, get some. Chapalas. If you go there, normally how I do it is
Starting point is 00:25:44 there's at least two baskets or three baskets that chips gone before the tacos get there. So chips and salsa. Yeah. Chips and solids, they're warm, they're salty, they're got all the seed oil everywhere, dipped in them.
Starting point is 00:26:02 Hold on, warm, salty seed oil. Yeah. What are we talking about here? Yeah, exactly. That's what my cum taste. Well, these are cum chips. Just come into the friar. That reminds you.
Starting point is 00:26:18 We watched Fight Club the other day. And that's a big part of it. like spitting and pissing in the in all the shit yeah i thought you were talking about coming into it oh probably industrial friar maybe they i'm sure they did but they were they cut that scene they were anti everything anti establishment on that movie it's a great movie but uh yeah well there you go he's gonna be at spike camp so that's why you asked oh gotcha yes coming up um max song jay asks nice how much for this i would say he's asking about for you 10 dollars oh for like sexual favors yeah i guess it depends on the day okay yeah so check back with me not that anybody cares but
Starting point is 00:27:19 i'm a 20 bucks for anything kind of guy anything huh yeah you should do those like the girls do what do they what are the what are the it always says like uses all three holes or what these stupid all four yeah what is i don't even know i don't even like don't even care enough to try to figure out what four holes are but i see like like shaved pussy i don't know what they say but yeah i i've never seen it but just i hear i've definitely seen it because it's on on Instagram and it's just stupid and I just see that and I'll just be like okay whatever I mean see you got one two three two wait let me go let me start over yeah one I don't know but anyway if you guys 20 bucks for all four holes smash that comment button yeah smash and subscribe um can consistency
Starting point is 00:28:24 beat the so-called X factor I feel like This is a talent versus work ethic. Yeah. I don't know. I don't have either. I mean, I'm fairly consistent. So I don't know. I don't know what it's like to have talent.
Starting point is 00:28:41 So I can't really speak to the one-offs. But. Yeah, I think, well, like I said in the last one, when we were talking about speed of bow speed, which we have to address that on shit talkers. Oh, boy. I like to think in extremes. Somebody has talent and they are a fat piece of shit
Starting point is 00:29:03 and sitting on the couch, they're not going to be anything. But if you take a fat piece of shit and give them really good work ethic, they will be something. It's a work ethic. It has to outweigh talent. What does that have to do with speed of a bow?
Starting point is 00:29:15 Well, I just like that. Yeah, I know. No, I know. Yeah, I agree. I agree. I think, yeah, talent, if you're fucking worthless, not going to even see. it. Yeah. Remember this, guys. 10 divided by zero is always zero. Exactly. So remember that.
Starting point is 00:29:34 And zero times one million is exactly. The pen can only write on the paper it's given. A hundred percent. I don't know what any of that means. Yeah. But here's what I know. Get to work. Yeah. Boats can only float because water exists, but it also means that they can sink. Remember that. That's good. That's going to be my neck tat. Ooh. But in a Chinese.
Starting point is 00:30:03 Oh, yeah. Because then I can say it's like some ancient proverb. And it's like, oh, I couldn't explain it to you. Yeah. I don't know, but it just says cheeseburger. Yeah. Just an intermission here. If you put a question dialogue or question, not dialogue, what is it?
Starting point is 00:30:21 Question box. Sure. You arguing with yourself? You fill that. out with send me a bow is that what it says there's a couple what the fuck you doing yeah homos dog human yeah dog go eat shit i mean yeah i mean yeah i don't want to i don't want to disrespect homo so dog humans right sorry yeah um after bows well after a bow arrows in a release what should somebody buy as their next step toward hunting you gotta buy that dog in you
Starting point is 00:30:53 Money can't buy that. Oh, shit. Let's see. What was the things he had? Bow, arrows. A bow, arrows, and a release. You're going to need Bino's, son. You're going to need Bino.
Starting point is 00:31:06 I mean, I don't know. I used to, like, before I knew anything, like, when I first started rifle hunting, I didn't have Binos. But everybody just used to look through the scope of shit until you look through the scope and there's some guy going, what the fuck? So then I had cheap Binoes, but I think even back east, and some people probably hunt without Binoes. Yeah, you probably could. It's so thick. But out west, if you're out west, you got to have Bynos.
Starting point is 00:31:35 If you're, uh... Well, his username is Dom Western. So I think we can... Okay. Optics, Sun. Dominatrix Western. Yeah, you're going to need Binos, range finder. You might get both in one, but yeah, that's going to be the next purchase. Well, there's been a lot of people that want advice for.
Starting point is 00:31:51 for training for the first marathon, first half marathon. I'm going to go ahead and cut you off. If you haven't listened, you can do it right now. So don't train for a year to run a mediocre time. Just go do it. Well, we also have a training program. Now I know more about. It's pretty cool.
Starting point is 00:32:09 Yeah, so I saw it. Rihanna was like spearheading that. And I think you added, or you had a suggestion to add in running and ultra running as far as marathon training program. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, and I thought that was a great idea.
Starting point is 00:32:22 So everything I saw, the app looks sick. We're going to be populating it. It's got some cool stuff in there now, but we're going to answer this question specifically for sure and that. So check that out. I don't know when it's going to be released. It's released. Oh, it is?
Starting point is 00:32:37 So there's some users on there. We haven't, like, publicly pushed it. It's like we've got some select people in there using it just to give feedback. But Rihanna did a great job with it. We've also gotten there, like, you know, an AI coach. And then also we've added kind of a social media aspect to it. You can follow people. And then there's a community tab where you can see people post and train.
Starting point is 00:32:59 So it's actually, I've been using it. I've been posting on there. And it's pretty fun. There's nutrition. So yeah. Is there a follow button and a, is there a stock button? If you just want to stock people. No, that is something I recommend it we add is being able to go to profile pages.
Starting point is 00:33:17 because I've been posting my AI titties on that. Yeah. Okay, cool. So yeah, anyways, do you have a race? I'm going to add, or an event, like a hunt maybe, that was your flu game. Jordan Flew game. I don't know. To me, I feel like Coca-Dona.
Starting point is 00:33:38 I know, like afterwards, but still. Yeah, just a broken foot. Broken foot. Going to see The Undertaker. after and then still finishing in the top 20. Yeah. I feel like that's pretty good. The Undertaker?
Starting point is 00:33:54 What was that? Isn't that because you almost died? Oh, at the hospital? Yeah. Oh, fuck. Yeah, no shit. Yeah, that was, okay, that was definitely the flu like at the end.
Starting point is 00:34:08 Holy shit, yeah. It was during the race, maybe I felt like that. I think that's just, what did I have again? What was it called? Neurovirus, yeah. Yeah, so I think that's just how you feel during an ultra. So I don't really know if I had it or not, but once I got done, I definitely had it.
Starting point is 00:34:28 But yeah, that was, that three days was not the easiest. Yeah, it was a long three days, for sure. Three-day flu right there with a broken foot. There's a good question. I like, how do you restore self-confidence and self-worth? Do you need to have it first? to restore it? I think so. Let's say your regular guy and then you find out your wife has been getting
Starting point is 00:34:55 dicked down. Does not happen to every in every marriage? Right. Some people it affects other people it doesn't. They can just ignore it. Oh, this is by Lander T. Davidson, by the way. Let's see. So this is advice for what? How do you restore self-confidence and self-worth? Well, I mean, I have had some and I've had races too where I felt like I didn't perform up to my, you know, you just,
Starting point is 00:35:30 you're not going to, I mean, I'm not going to beat Olympian, but I want to compete at my highest level. So there's times when you don't feel like you gave your best or you put your best out there for whatever reason. Maybe it was like a rough day mentally or physically or it could be emotionally, whatever. But I've been, I've had situations like that and it sucks. And you're like, this is what I've worked my whole life for to shut the bed here. All we can do is, you know, get back on that bike, basically, get back on the horse, whatever you want to call it.
Starting point is 00:36:04 You fall down, you get back up. It's just the way it goes, you know, especially, and I think we've talked about this specifically with Jelly Roll and Truitt. But, you know, the higher the stakes of what you're taking on, the grid of the likelihood, you could fail and that's just how it works um you take you know safe bets all the time whatever it's probably not going to be a big payoff obviously but you go for big goals and you're very ambitious you might get kicked to the nuts and so then that is going to be the test because that is where people they can be like i just don't have what it takes but instead of that how about just reframe it and say no i was i was trying to do something that no very few people have ever done
Starting point is 00:36:49 And if that's you, then it's really easy to, to, I guess, I don't talk yourself through that. But if it's something that you feel like you've seen other people do and you should have been able to do it and you didn't, that's okay too. Because as we've talked about, some people are further ahead on the path. So just because it's like, even like you say everybody's running marathons, right? And everybody's like everybody you know is like with this metal and their bib and all this shit and small. But then you go try to run one and something happens and it's still a long way. It's 26 miles. And if you haven't done the training prior, your body might say no, we're not ready. Right. But that's okay. Because we just learn. We adjust. We recalibrate and we're like, okay, I didn't put in the work. And this is what
Starting point is 00:37:40 happens when you don't do that. So all it can do is learn from it, get better. So it doesn't really matter how big the goal is, you still have to put in the necessary steps prior to be prepared for it. And sometimes we get a wake-up call. Sometimes that wake-up call hurts and it sucks. But it's the people who don't have that resolution that we're after, don't have that the dog that we talk about. They're the ones who quit after one attempt. The people who stick with it, those are the people that you know their name, all right? Those are the people that you follow. Those are the people. They've all failed. They've all failed. They've all failed. They've all questioned themselves, but none of them quit.
Starting point is 00:38:17 So you're only a failure when you quit. And so, yeah, I've had a lot of times where I, you know, was disappointed in my effort, a disappointed. And, you know, I felt like I, I don't know if I deserved or I wanted better results and I didn't get them. All I've ever done has been like, okay, I just got to work harder. Yeah, I think two things. I think one, getting back on the horse is super important. You know, you look at like extreme athletes.
Starting point is 00:38:45 You know, I could take like climbing, for example, I was trad climbing this one time, which is where you're basically following a crack system and you place your own protection. And then you clip yourself into it as you go. And I ran out like halfway up and I fell. And the last piece I'd placed busted out of the wall. And I fell like 60 feet upside down and landed like two feet above the ground with my head facing downwards. And I remember at the time I was like, wanted to shit my pants because I was so scared. And the only option was you have to get back up and try again.
Starting point is 00:39:20 Because if you don't, you're going to let the self-doubt creep in. You're going to let the nerves creep in. I just watched Ford versus Ferrari. And it's like Shelby Carroll has that race where, you know, he loses his nerve and he stops racing. And it's like, that's what's going to happen. You're going to let any kind of doubt, that's when it's going to come in. So you have to get back on the horse. And then second, I think a lot of people who lack self-confidence and self-worth are people
Starting point is 00:39:45 that aren't honest with themselves. They can't look themselves in the mirror and say, this is how I f*** up, this is how I need to get better. Instead, they want to live in a lie and tell themselves that they are doing these things or they want to be a victim. And you can't do that. You have to be able to be honest with yourself. And if you fail or, you know, you don't achieve your goal the first time, you have to be
Starting point is 00:40:05 able to look at yourself and say, okay, I didn't work hard enough. and I will this time. So that would be my advice. Not that you asked for it, but you got it anyways. I like it. Let's see. Terry, Terry Wayne Christ asks, did you know P-22, the Hollywood Mountain Lion,
Starting point is 00:40:26 pretty famous, been photographed a bunch of times, attacked a girl walking her dog. Yeah, I saw that. I sent that to Joe. Because we had been talking about that. That is a lion with the Hollywood sign in the background, that photo. And yeah, I think they killed it.
Starting point is 00:40:43 They had to put it down. But yeah, this is these animals. I think I just saw a woman got killed in Colorado. Did you see that? Yeah. And it was the same, I think it was the same lion. I'm pretty sure she had an encounter with like a few weeks ago. And had it, she worded it off successfully.
Starting point is 00:41:04 Or it was something like that. Again, I'm just like a fucking headline reader. It wasn't the one that that guy had to run in. Maybe. Maybe it was. But it, I don't know if it was her, but it had had an issue with somebody before they think it's the same lion. And then it ended up killing her, I think, yesterday.
Starting point is 00:41:22 And yeah, these things, I mean, I don't know what people, you know, you start, there's lions out there. They're born and bred, natural born killers. That's how they survive. They don't eat grass and shit. They eat, they kill stuff. and eat it. That's it.
Starting point is 00:41:40 They don't go to Whole Foods and get their vegan chicken nuggets. They can kill. So if you're in where they live, you might get killed. Yeah. Because that's what they do. They don't differentiate without the threat of human,
Starting point is 00:41:56 you know, I mean, as we've talked about this with grizzlies, if grizzlies don't fear humans, they're the top of the food chain. And lions are like that too. You haven't been able to hunt them in California since the 70s.
Starting point is 00:42:07 Colorado, you know, I don't know if this one is, you know, just used to people being around on the trails or whatever it was. Or maybe it was hungry. Maybe there's an issue with it. Maybe it's just a dominant male. But whatever the case, they're fucking dangerous animals. And they kill. That's their business.
Starting point is 00:42:24 Yeah, I think people see the photo and they're like, oh, that's so cool. It's like, yeah, it is really cool. The photo is amazing. But it also comes with risk. Yeah. I mean, that's just kind of a part of the deal. also funny thing about not hunting them in California don't they kill just about the same amount just not publicly yeah we were trying to look at those numbers obviously they don't want those numbers like super easy to
Starting point is 00:42:48 find but yeah generally how it works is instead of hunters paying for the right to hunt these animals and paying for the tag and license and everything and monitoring it that way the government or the state has to hire trappers or just government hunters essentially to go and eliminate animals just like this one that attacked that woman in California. And so if you look at the objective on what the carrying capacity is of the land, how many like should be harvested to keep that healthy population down and where there's not too many lions or they're killing too many deer. And then if there's too many lions, then there's not enough deer and then they don't have anything to kill, so then they're killing pets.
Starting point is 00:43:29 But as long as you keep that balance there, I think generally what they pay to have government trappers and hunters for the state or the agency kill would be somewhere close to what hunters would kill. That'd be the objective to kill annually. Instead of hunters paying for it and then that money going to help fund conservation, the state has to pay. Instead, they're losing money. because they're paying somebody to do it.
Starting point is 00:43:59 Yeah. And who do you think the state is getting money from? Yeah. Taxes. People. Yeah. So who do you think's taxing you? Benjamin not, Netanya.
Starting point is 00:44:07 Yeah. You're paying for that shit instead of hunters. And, you know, the North American wildlife model is the most successful on earth. We've, you know, for people that don't know, there's more deer, elk, bear, turkey. And, you know, now than there was 100 years ago because of hunting. have taken these conservation measures and step to step this up we we can contribute the money to pay for habitat to pay for science to pay for biology to pay for research to make sure that we're managing wildlife the way it should be to the best of our ability and it's been a wildly successful
Starting point is 00:44:47 program for like I said 100 years um but in california in some states they take that out of our hands. They say no. You guys have kicked ass. Yeah, you've done a great job, but we're not going to let you do that here. In fact, we're not going to let you hunt them at all. And this shit like this happens. Yep. And so it's, you know, I think hunters deserve a lot of credit for what we've done because it's a hunter centric program, the North American wildlife model. And it's been successful. Let us do what we do. We care. Yeah, we don't need a ballot box biology. No, for sure. Ben or Ken B is fit. That's yet to be seen.
Starting point is 00:45:30 Have there been periods in your marriage where you've had to put some of your goals on hold? Out in the mountains, there's no room for wheat gear. When I'm packing out meat in the heat or loading up for a long-range training trip, I need a cooler that holds the line every time. That's why I use grisly coolers. These things are bareproof, rugged as hell, and keep ice sloth. locked in for days, literally. I've had coolers on the trail, baking in the sun,
Starting point is 00:45:59 still holding ice after hauling out out quarters. That's performance you can count on. Whether you're running deep in the backcountry or just stacking meat for the weekend, Grizzly is built for that grind. Right now, you can get 20% off at grizzlycoolers.com with the code, keep hammering. And that's all one word.
Starting point is 00:46:19 And I'm not going to spell it. Keep hammering. Again, keep hammering. for 20% off. Don't roll with weak gear. Go Grizzly. When you're deep in the back country and everything depends on your gear, your knife can't be the weak link. That's why I teamed up with Montana Knife Company to build the keep hammering packout. What matters to me in all things is performance. The packout is built to do one thing really well, break down animals efficiently. The blade shape gives you control when skinning, the steel holds an edge, and it's light enough that you don't
Starting point is 00:46:54 think twice about carrying it all day. When you're tired, cold, and working on an animal miles from the truck, simple and reliable are everything. Montana Knife Company is American-made, and that matters to me. I know Josh Smith personally, and he doesn't cut corners. He cares about quality, doing things right way, and about building products here in the USA that actually perform in the field. That's why I trust this knife. If you want to check it out, head to montananinife company.com.com. And right now, podcast listeners get 10% off any knife with code CAM 10. C-A-M-10. To keep hammering packout.
Starting point is 00:47:35 Built for the backcountry, built to work. We've got a limited all-black packout dropping January 8th. Quantities are tight and they won't last. Get yours now. No. So Ken, tell that bitch why. I'm yours to shut up. Any other questions?
Starting point is 00:48:00 Well, part of it is, you know, my goal has always been to provide for my family to make sure they have everything they need. So it's not like my goals are interfering with my role as a husband and father that's always been, you know, I'm the provider and protector of this house, always have been, always put my kids in position to be successful, coach them up. fathered them up, done whatever I need to do to make sure that they understand that. And there's been no goals of mine that have superseded that. So if you're putting your goals ahead of your family or your marriage or your kids, okay, keep doing. Yeah. Okay, we're dads, husbands, fathers, we know.
Starting point is 00:48:49 I don't, and that's what another thing is like, I cannot stand on people like, oh, well, my dad wasn't around when I was a kid. So that's, I'm just like trying to shut the fuck up. You know what's right and wrong. You know, who gives a fucking what happened in your five? I don't, you're 40. Yeah. 30.
Starting point is 00:49:07 You don't know what's right and wrong. It doesn't matter how you grew up or what your dad did. Nobody gives a fuck about that. You're a man. Be a man. Yeah, I always say it's like, you know, okay, great. That happened in your childhood. Nope.
Starting point is 00:49:23 Like, what do you expect? The only person that can fix that is yourself. You're going to have to take ownership. Or you can feel sorry for yourself, I guess, and continue the cycle. Yeah, you can be a victim and fucking blame everybody for why you're not successful. Nobody gives a fuck. And it's like, to me, whatever I went through, I'm glad. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:42 I'm fucking glad. If I would have had it too good, I wouldn't be who I am. So I'm thankful for all the shit I had to go through. I wouldn't want it any other way. And if you're using what you had to go. through as a crutch, grow up. Yeah. Or as my brother told me recently. Oh boy. Oh boy. He texted me and said that I need to grow up and be an adult and face my issues with my family instead of running away from them from my nice, cushy life. Quote. Do you have any objections to that? Zeke? No. Okay.
Starting point is 00:50:23 So is just having a job? Is that running a job? Is that running? Running away? I guess. I don't know. Maybe. To be fair, I mean, he's kind of right. I don't really want to go home. Yeah, but is that running away or is that just like, this is depressing.
Starting point is 00:50:45 Yeah. Anyways. Vance Beb, baby. Do you ever do any bow hunting for carp? And I know you don't. But I fly. fish for carp and it is it's the Rocky Mountain redfish but I have bow hunted for them and it's actually really fun it's definitely redneck that's for sure yeah me and roy actually used to do that
Starting point is 00:51:12 all the time when you could bait for bear with here in Oregon so we'd go and we we'd go out to fern ridge carp spawn in this shallow water out there we'd go out kill a bunch of carp taking for bear oh no kidding that's actually a good idea I actually use them no it's yeah because I don't know what the f f you're going to do with them. Well, there are some cultures that eat them. But here is a fun fact on the carp. Me and Roy, Bear Bay was always the thing.
Starting point is 00:51:40 We'd always like be hustling at Williams Bakery, getting old donuts or carp, right? So then we'd put them in 55-gallon drums at Roy's house. And if you put a bunch of carb in a sealed 55-gallon drum, a lot of gases and a lot of, I'm not really assigned. scientist or a chemist, you might be surprised to learn. But apparently, apparently, that little kid says it 20 times on that one video. Apparently. Apparently, I've never been on live television before. Apparently every time,
Starting point is 00:52:18 apparently grandpa just gives me a remote after he watched a power ball. Apparently gases and whatnot build up. And so if you have a 50-5-a-gallon drum that it has like this ring around it and the lid and then a bolt, right? So then you back off the bolt a little bit and then you can take that ring off. But if there's a bunch of pressure per se in that drum, you back off that bolt a certain number of turns maybe where maybe that lid could come off under pressure and explode up in the air. and then carp juice and maggots are raining down on you. That could happen. That could happen. That was a fun time.
Starting point is 00:53:05 That was like me fishing out the beavers. Yeah, it reminded me of that. But yeah, pretty nasty, dude. That's disgusting. Yeah, so the same thing. So, yeah. Yeah. Rotten maggots.
Starting point is 00:53:16 Just building pipe bombs. But with carp. Carp. Yeah, it works. So, yeah, they taste really good. Spock 27S asks, it's not really a question in here, but I want to start running. I'm 45 years old, 60 pounds overweight, and want to love running. One step at a time, baby.
Starting point is 00:53:39 Let's get going. Let's get going. And I wouldn't be too married to the running part. I just get out, cover some miles walking, even hiking. Get your body used to get miles on your feet because it's a lot of, you know, as we've discussed here, I think before, but there's about 2,000 miles, I don't know, 2,000 steps a mile. So five miles, 2,000 steps, 10,000 steps a day.
Starting point is 00:54:07 Whether you're running or not, 10,000 steps, if you've been doing 2 or 1 or 500, 10,000 is a lot. Yeah. So get your body used to that. That's where people always like, I wanted to run, but I had shin splints. I've never had shin splints in my life, but I've been running my whole lot. life. So I would just say, I understand where you're at and I applaud that and I love the positive changes and the shift in mindset. But just get out there and get your body used to it before you
Starting point is 00:54:37 get injured and then get derailed. That's the last time I'll talk about being moderate in your effort because other than that, I think people are way too weak and talk about overtraining when they're like 30% effort. Yeah. So. And maybe, you know, going for those 10,000 steps is, you know, his hardest effort. Yeah. You know, it's relative.
Starting point is 00:55:03 But there's, the best time to start was yesterday. And the second best time to start. Tomorrow. Oh, today. Right now. Oh. Oh. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:14 Yeah. Remember that. That's like so late though. Yeah, it is. Maybe tomorrow. Yeah, I'll do tomorrow. Maybe tomorrow would be. Awesome.
Starting point is 00:55:25 But so it's Sunday. So maybe Sunday's family day. Even Jesus rested, I think, on Sunday. Or was that God? You got to honor the Sabbath. The Sabbath. Show me Shabbas. I don't roll on the Sabbath.
Starting point is 00:55:43 Yeah. So I'm joking, obviously. This get after it every day. But not, don't go too crazy and get hurt first. this is one you'll really like Rancor Wrangler asks How to get deer bigger Slash attract them to your land
Starting point is 00:56:02 I figured you'd know all about What you want to do Go get your plow Plow yourself a big field We plant corn and eat Then Didn't get ready Because here come them deer
Starting point is 00:56:18 Come that big buck That target buck There it comes Big old 12 pointer I'm a smoking I'm gonna feel with some buck shot. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:29 Yeah, I think I will. I think that's what I'm going to do. It's like Slingblade. Have you seen that? I'm going to kill it at some bitch. Did that show Hally Berry Naked? Or was that another movie?
Starting point is 00:56:41 Something else. Slingbade is the swing blade. Swing blade. Oh, that was monster maybe? Yeah, Slingblade is the retard who. Yeah. Yeah. Takes a lawnmower blade and kills a dad, a kid's abusive dad with it.
Starting point is 00:57:03 Yeah. French fried potatoes. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. You ought not swear like that. You is just a boy. Mm-hmm. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:57:16 Billy Bob's taking on some. Now he's, you know, landman. Love that show. Yeah. For multiple reasons. the daughter. She drives me insane. Oh my. Just shut the fuck up and just be on screen and just quit being up just irritating. Take your tits out. Yeah, she's like why people hate hot girls. Exactly. And the wife's not much better. Actually, just don't talk. Yeah. Because that is that too
Starting point is 00:57:44 much to ask? We, Connor and I used to notice that every show about a guy who's successful always has to have some nagging bitch-ass wife. So we always call it, bitch-ass-wife character. Just kidding, guys. It's all love. Oh, we forgot the disclaimer. Yeah. We said it at the beginning, but just in case you forgot, some of you wives may have
Starting point is 00:58:09 forgot when you heard that one part right there, it's all love, baby. Yeah. Don't worry. Because apparently we have women that listen. Yeah, I did hear, I did get some messages from women. Yeah. Why? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:58:24 I mean, besides the fact. that I'm strikingly good looking and, you know, you're probably abusing... Just show us your tits. We don't need to be any words. I know you're abusing the little man in the boat to me. In my voice. What? Little man in the boat.
Starting point is 00:58:43 Think about it. Is that their... Little man in the boat. Oh, shit. That's next level. I know. Yeah, I never heard that reference. That's cool.
Starting point is 00:58:52 Thank you. Is that what the kids do now? Yeah. That's what they say? Play the DJ. Wookey, wookie, wiki. I thought they just said six, seven or whatever that is. I don't even know what it is.
Starting point is 00:59:01 I don't know how it started. Yeah, but I hate it. When are you inviting Ella Langley to do a lift run shoot? And call her daddy. I know. That one could happen. Ella, she's plain hard to get. Yeah, classic Ella.
Starting point is 00:59:21 It's just what she does. She's crazy girl. Crazy girl. You crazy girl. She is so cute. So cute. She does stuff like this pretends like we don't exist.
Starting point is 00:59:38 Classic. But once she gets done with this little charade, she'll be on. Right. Guaranteed. I see her shoot a bow. I seen her shoot a bow. So I just need to do the lift.
Starting point is 00:59:53 Did you see her like hit that water bottle? Uh-uh. Yeah. Is it real? Yeah. Damn. Yeah. What is the single most important thought you have every day?
Starting point is 01:00:05 Just one. I'm waiting for one. I'm waiting for an important thought. Normally it's like my thoughts are like, I have to go look myself in the mirror and be like, man, you're f***. You need to get your shit together. That's pretty much the most important thought I have too. Yeah. So you're a piece of shit.
Starting point is 01:00:29 Yeah. So it's really like just trying it's it's the bottom of the barrel like as far as existence goes. Just trying to stay above that line. Yeah. Slightly. Sometimes you dip your toe into it. Yeah. I don't even know.
Starting point is 01:00:49 I don't have an important thought. I don't think. Like I said, I'm waiting for one. Yeah. We're still leering. Mm-hmm. Okay. Learing?
Starting point is 01:00:57 What's that? Learning. but without the end. God, I know. In Somalis. What's the hardest question you've ever been asked? This one? Who is Cameron Haynes? Oh, fucking.
Starting point is 01:01:12 I can hate that question. Who is? Yeah, hardest question I've ever been asked. I think it was, I was leaving, I was drunk at the Oregon game. And I left. We didn't even go back in a half time. This is back when I was probably at my height of being an idiot. So like last year at some point.
Starting point is 01:01:42 Yeah, it's been like just a weird stretch from when I was 21 to now. Oh, okay. Just a little rough patch. Yeah. But when I was 21, I remember I was leaving the Oregon game, been in, or didn't go in at a half time. I don't know if we were winning and losing, but just ate out and drank. So basically what you do, you get there early. get fucked up before the game.
Starting point is 01:02:05 You sneak beers in and something like a boat a bag or something like that. Your asshole. Yeah. Somewhere. Yeah. Prison pocket. You get in. You try to sip some.
Starting point is 01:02:15 Don't get kicked out because you're not supposed to take your own alcohol in there. Then you come back out of halftime, drink some more. Usually there's fights and just stupid shit like that. But at this time, I just kept drinking, stayed out there. Then it's time to leave. So when everybody leaves, you know, it's kind of a shit show. And you'd think that I wouldn't be driving after I'd been. So this might have been at like, say,
Starting point is 01:02:41 it used to be the games used to be like 1230. So you'd get there like 10 to start drinking. You might be drinking at home before that. Game gets over, say, around 3.34. And then you're leaving. So you've had about at least six, seven, eight hours of drinking, which usually leaves. so good decisions for me of course right and so what i decided to do at that time was
Starting point is 01:03:08 all that you know there's a bunch of traffic they have cones out going out on the centennial boulevard there it's martin luther king now i guess but i thought it'd be a good idea to drive over all the cones and just like just like running over all of them as i was leaving apparently a cop thought that wasn't a good idea so he jumped out in front of my car stopped me said pull over under sidewalk on when everybody's leaving Aston and then he said I think it was something like recite the alphabets or count backwards or something thing i need you to recite the alphabet from z to a backwards as fast as you can you do that for me yeah sure uh z y x w u S-R, Q-O-N-M-L-K-J, I-G-F, E-D-C-B-A.
Starting point is 01:04:11 Remarkable. I've actually never seen anybody do that. Those seem like very hard questions at that time. Those for the hardest question. So please touch your tip of your finger to your nose. So those questions at that time were very hard for me. But somehow, I remember the task was you stand and you hold your, like, like one leg up, six inches above the ground.
Starting point is 01:04:35 Nailed it. He's like, have you been drinking? I go all day. And he's like, so I did that. Somehow passed. Somehow did all the shit. Somehow I got it out of there without a DUI. But if I'm thinking of hard questions,
Starting point is 01:04:55 I remember like a lot of people looking at me doing this while I was leaving. And everybody in this town kind of knew my trust. and new whatever wasn't the greatest. Yeah, that experience. Those would be hard questions. But I did not get a DUI. I don't know how. Because you weren't drunk.
Starting point is 01:05:14 Right, right. But anyway. Well, that makes sense. A little trip down memory lane. A little nostalgia. So that's why I don't drink anymore. Oh. Because there's shit like that.
Starting point is 01:05:26 Hardest question I've been asked. Yeah. What is yours? probably when my uncle asked me if he can go again no no my bottom's sore my bottom's too sore but you've already done six yeah
Starting point is 01:05:46 well that's uh that's it that's it yeah good those are all the questions did you have any well I have a whole shit talkers episode oh yeah So I did the I was doing a little research, but maybe we can do it on shit talkers, remind me, but not research.
Starting point is 01:06:14 It's pretty good. We get, let me think what that was, 80,000 downloads every podcast episode, total. Yeah. So 80,000. And YouTube, 10 million. So that's 200,000 a week. Oh, yeah. Oh, total. Total views for for YouTube. So like on the slide, it was 10.10.8 million for the year. You divide that by 52. That's 200,000 a week per week. Yeah. So it's like if you're if there are 200,000 people are watching a YouTube video and then podcasts are separate because that's that was the 80,000 down that was the downloads. The views were 200. So there's not even any
Starting point is 01:07:12 Show on the outdoor channel that's got 200,000 like they should say like if you got a hundred thousand views a week That's like bone collector And we're at 200 yeah This fucking what I mean And 80,000 downloads per episode and the 200 views a week and we're doing you know we're doing just slightly over but pretty much an episode a week for podcasts So really there's only room to grow. Yeah. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 01:07:41 Yeah. Yeah. But it's like that I thought 200,000 a week is good. That's good. That's a lot of attention. Yeah. That's a ton. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:07:51 So I wish I would have broke that down. So I just want to talk about it. Yeah. Yeah. Because I think when, because people see 10 million and I didn't really think about, okay, what is that per week? You know what I mean? Yeah, right.
Starting point is 01:08:03 But when you think about it, like a show will be like, you know if they even look at how many people watch the news or whatever it's hardly we're like we're better than any show on outdoor channel ever oh for sure so yeah that's 28,500 every day for 10 million yeah yeah it's pretty good yeah yeah so yeah i was i was pretty impressed at those numbers when I just broke that down like that. Because I was wondering what our downloads were. Because if you only look at one platform, like it might just be like Spotify, 20 some thousand.
Starting point is 01:08:45 But I'm like, no, I want to, because there's different platforms, I want to know what all of them, you know, I don't want the YouTube views for podcasts aren't films. So I want those under podcast. And so that's what I had them do. And like when it's just a podcast, 80,000 per episode is good.
Starting point is 01:09:04 That's really good. Yeah. On average. Yeah. So I wish I would have broke that down on that slide and said. Because, you know, how she had it at first when her sponsors are seeing like the most popular, whatever was terrible. I'm like, yeah, but podcasts on YouTube don't mean anything. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:09:23 So I was kind of distracted by I wanted that number big, but I wish I would have broke it down per week. Yeah. And 10 million is kind of almost too big to like comprehend it or put it into. terms with your brain, but 200,000 is a lot of easier. Yeah, yeah, yeah, 200,000 a week. Yeah, that's good. That's a lot of people paying attention to what we're doing.
Starting point is 01:09:43 So it's, uh, to me that gives value. When the sponsors see that, like, they, they know, we don't have to break it down for them. Yeah. Because they know, like, so wait, we got 10 million people paying attention to what this f***ed does on his films and then 80,000 listening every week. You know, attention is currency. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:10:05 a lot of attention. Yeah, that's a shit. So between the podcast and the films, we're at, you know, 15 million a year. No magazine is getting that. No other platform is getting that. It's just like, yeah. So it's a, I'm glad we got,
Starting point is 01:10:24 she did a good job of, I don't know, I assume she totaled it all up. Maybe Rihanna helped it, but helped, but those slides, especially that one that showed how much we gave back, to 100,000. Oh, yeah. Yeah, we were looking at that.
Starting point is 01:10:39 And I was like, I feel like we should add Travis Barker and Courtney Cardass. Yeah, yeah, that was good. I can't forget about those people. Did we have Deegan in there? Yeah. Okay, good. Yeah, because those are,
Starting point is 01:10:50 nobody's doing that shit. No. Just us. No. And then we get nobody. No, and it's like, if you look at, so what I wanted to make it for the sponsors was like, okay, so nobody can touch us on view,
Starting point is 01:11:03 on films, really. maybe probably media or but uh films podcast but books merch celebrity photo you know all your photos you've got so that's all that's all valuable content i don't even know how you can total that all up no so you but you can't but like when you when you have this valuable so i always think about it like this when you have this valuable content like your images or your video and then they want to share that so that adds value to it but all this stuff like views books books, podcasts, messaging, influence, merch, images. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:11:43 Nobody. Did we blow everybody away? Yeah. Everyone. And it all at compounds. And you want to look at meteor, it's like, well, they also have a huge team. Yeah, we got five in a handful of people. I know.
Starting point is 01:11:57 Crazy. Yeah. They should be way more than us. And they got way more overhead. Your stuff is good. I have a buddy that works there but it's not super compelling. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 01:12:09 Or it's not different. No, it's old school. It's like old outdoor channel people. And then a lot of the stuff is pretty similar. So it's like if you've seen them one, you've seen them all kind of thing. It's all, we're like,
Starting point is 01:12:21 I feel like I've tried to be on the cutting edge of all this. You know, even like with the ultra running is exploding, bow hunting's exploding. We've always been like pushing that. Yeah. And Meteeter, They're the more old school outdoor channel crowd kind of transferred over from outdoor channels kind of dying.
Starting point is 01:12:40 So they got those old kind of, but we got all the new people. Yeah. Yeah. I was trying to think, it was like, you know, what's going to be our next big film? Got to be something good. Well, a lot of people, like I put up that post today about the mountains, something like, Oh, yeah. None of me to meet a reasonable person on the top of a mountain.
Starting point is 01:13:05 I've got a lot of messages because people see those are like the biggest names. And they're, so I've got a lot of like big names that be like, how can I come and train? I want to do that. Yeah. So I think and with jelly roll, yeah, talking so much about it, it's, yeah. Stay tuned. We got shit talkers coming up next. it's all love, baby.
