Why the fuck are they stopping us from streaming and from L.P.ing Puyo Puyo Tetris? Because dude. You guys were about to start a whole series. That's nonsense. We sat down and planned this for like, at least since last year. Yeah. And then we get there and then we find out. You had an expensive intro made.

We find out after exactly after getting, we almost had two expensive intros made. Cross collaboration between Mothman and Phil and Two Snacks and Volta Base and Cranky and everybody gets together to make a Puyo Puyo Tetris intro for us and then it turns out you're not allowed to L.P. record or even show anybody anything from the story mode. Oh man. What the fuck? That's crazy. What the fuck is that about?

I don't know. Apparently Sega is doing the thing where there's a watermark in the corner. Awesome. And you can't show the game without that watermark being there. Awesome. So yeah. That's just great. This I don't know like where they expect this like path to lead.

I don't know where they expect this to end up but like well it's gonna fucking it's not going to work. You can't do this. So for one thing the most baffling thing is that it's not Sega like everything about all of this for Tetris it actually is for Tetris it is Sega. Yeah. Well because for P5 it's totally Atlas like I don't get it. Why?

Why? I didn't know when KF was Tetris but for Tetris it's only in Japan. You can stream it if you're in America and Europe. In America they updated it and they said don't show adventure mode. But Japan still no. No Japan. We highly encourage American and European fans to stream Puyo Puyo Tetris when it comes out.

Now I will say that the fact that you don't have to worry about what happened to Dark Souls 3 where on day one you pressed down. You pressed down on the goddamn start the game cross media bar screen. It's hot right now and it's a picture of the final boss. That is ridiculous and that that needs to be protected.

That is an interface thing that is that is straight up do not show photos of those streams. That is completely understood and should never happen. But yeah there's a weird like disconnect between the idea of having these functions built into the consoles pushed by the console makers and then a message saying go ahead and do it but like if you don't have the external capture equipment to do it then you can't do it. I guess that's up to a publisher to be like actually embrace that function. I can do whatever they want but like but that doesn't mean it's not stupid. Oh yeah not like allow also in the case of P5 this may in fact be the worst game thematically

they could have ever done this thing right yeah like your teacher at one point goes all this copyright stuff so real pain isn't it and I stood up in my seat and I started screaming at my television over the weekend because I was so fucking pissed because it felt like I was actively personally getting a thumb in my fucking eye. I think you were I couldn't fucking believe it. This the initial screenshot was when someone tells us not to do something and make us want to do it even more and I was like that's funny. But there I do admit that like there are people that I like I feel bad for that would jump on YouTube and a recommended video on the bar sidebar would be like here's the culprit spoilers. Hey guess what this doesn't stop those people at all. It doesn't but but I just say I'm saying like the idea that that problem exists sucks and it'd be nice if there could be something done. not wanting to lose that sale. And the thing is is that you can argue that there are people that would never have bought this that are going to sit in and experience it that way. That's a part of what LPing is. At the same time a part of what LPing is is people going oh wow I never heard about this. It's going to take these slow ass motherfuckers three months to beat this shit. And now I'm going to go grab it right. So it's a weird dance because like it's totally advertising in the way that you get the word out there about something but it's also like for some people a replacement experience for it. And we've seen tons of people saying both things. I've seen tons of people saying at least in P5's case. Yeah like well I don't care about the game

now. I don't care about the game now. I've seen people going I was really looking forward to the LP because I was not going to buy a copy. And because I don't have most often is because I don't have PS4 or PS3 and I don't really have any way to play it for many years. And then we've seen oh shit well I'm definitely grabbing my copy now and or I can't slash I can't wait because I was going to watch a little bit and then get it when I had more money slash I was I'm playing ahead anyway and I want to see how you guys encountered these things while I compared to what I did you know. Now maybe I'm a little bit biased because I'm on one edge of this because of the LP but this feels like a stupid thing for idiots. Just just saying

Right well I was going to say that like if a company is like fully on board the whole A.R. don't spoil it stuff you know what you can do that's a lot more simple than like potentially banning or copyright striking people just be like do what like Breath of the Wild did or near Automata have the official Twitter account do a nice little picture of your main hero going hey everyone don't spoil the game and just tweet that out it's probably more effective that might be too lax but this is too extreme okay so I'm not sure if there is a middle ground of which you know more people we'd dissuade more people from spoiling stuff and it would actually be like you know at least

allow people to stream or well here's a good example we disabled the comments on the p5 videos that we put up because they be what were becoming like minefields of revenge spoilers yeah you can't you know what are revenge spoilers in this case like who is that affecting it's like hey hey you don't want to spoil it's just you don't want spoilers coming out all right fuck you spoil spoil spoil don't write that in the comments or write that to like Alice's Twitter or their Facebook you're yelling at the it's like you can't control that yeah you're yelling at the beast but here's and here's you know what the fun part about it is like you've got this giant like damn right holding back the waterfall water follow and all it takes is one person to pick up that

right there's so your game that is like I'm pretty sure some people bought right to help because I'm damn sure but that's a good game because you have fun to play it yeah it's honestly I feel like no one's buying fucking criminal girls or whatever that fucking game is there is there is a long there's a lengthy debate with valid points on both sides to the to the idea of like the unintended audience member being able to see the thing where the the unintended audience member was like yeah but I wasn't going to bug I guarantee that Matt and I sold more copies of yakuza for I believe it the entirety of their fucking I believe it and and and you know like I feel like we do really good things for like smaller games and things that are you know like but that was clear do but like

for one offs really like you know what I mean like if we do a full LP of like inside which didn't take long you know some like LPs here's a here's a difference they can sell games but you can't say that they do yeah I would agree with that like mm-hmm it's just a 50-50 on the dark weather yeah and there's a spotlight effect there's a spotlight effect on it especially in games where in in one offs in particular we get to pop in a game like momodora and everyone goes wait what the fuck is this and it's like it's awesome is what it is and then it's like bam you just it was a spotlight on a thing you never heard of and then if anyone seems interested they're going to go check that out I would say that the effectiveness of the LP as an ad like mentality

is is inversely proportional to how popular the thing is already yeah the more the more niche something is the more it can benefit right so momodora is a good example right last of us I'm pretty sure didn't sell any more copies because we did a last LP certainly right um freedom planet probably did right yeah uh you know it is that is true and and maybe the atlas people were like hey now the personas big money big hustlers well at least in japan that's that's because that they're the ones enforcing this policy and the tone of the like like first major persona like in the streaming twitch era right yeah and the time the tone of that that article of that press release was very much like our japanese overlords kind of thing yeah you know um and and what you're

like bikini babes yeah I'm just like yes this should be what it's like when you win win a race this is what driving is about um just on the video game kick I told you guys a bit about it played drawn to death yes you told me very little about I played very little about it because sometimes the game just doesn't boot up because it's online only so if PSN goes down for even a second the game doesn't boot when I say it doesn't boot like you watch the loading screen of like any initial boot up on a game yeah I'll say error and I've never seen that usually the cases you hit a main menu and it says I can't connect to the server that's it doesn't right before it gets to the main menu if that makes any sense so what I did play I didn't play a lot admittedly but like I

did the tutorial I did like one match uh and it just like off the bat's like controlling characters doesn't feel good so off the bat that's not great your double jump feels floaty and shitty it is an arena-based third-person shooter I get your jumps how else are they supposed to feel but it just didn't feel good to control my character I uh I watch some videos and you know when you most games you can't quite tell because they're kind of standardized in terms of controls every now and then you look at a game like you look at platinum footage and you can tell from the movement and like the turn radius you can tell like oh that looks good right yeah absolutely I remember us all flipping our shit over the very first Metal Gear Rising Revengeance footage

of him running alongside a wall with bullets and we all we all knew right yeah this is the opposite of that like you look you go and look at footage and you can you know max on point with that because it looks like it just it looks stiff and bad yeah it just looks bad it feels stiff and bad on the plus side if well on the plus side if you are PlayStation Plus member the game is free for this month so that's good and I would suggest people if you have PlayStation Plus and want to waste some time get the game watch the joke that happens during the tutorial there's a joke that involves a controller function that's that made me laugh I told you guys about it yeah made you guys laugh won't go into it here but it was it was it was funny like for a free game if you

can spare bandwidth it's almost worth downloading it for that one joke so the but the hillaroy paper textures doesn't save it it's still a cool idea it's still cool but like it's not enough it's not enough like if something that's similar just in terms of color scheme and humor it's like just get mad world I want to yeah if I can just I wish I could just like broadcast out to everybody it's okay you can still try this idea out another time yes it's not used yeah you can go for it mad world did it and was really good there but yeah but mad world wasn't scribbles yeah it wasn't specifically hillaroy yeah lined paper with your pink margin the very start of this game is an FMV of actors in a classroom and then your camera turns downwards and looks on your notebook and I'm

that and they all have slightly different rising tackles yeah and I can have a team of boxers you can so you can now yeah so I'll get to that like like Vanessa Yamazaki like I I played Vanessa a little bit in 11 I never really played yet like you know fool around with them but like I never played Yamazaki man like these like their move lists were crazy long and I was like oh shit this is going to take me a while because I want to get back into it because with the update you had two new free stages you had a rebalance and stuff and the new stages are nice and uh team my two dads is also a great team not too bad pretty good I like that yeah and uh yeah I had a great time I played online where it's six for uh three versus three so everyone is someone on the team I I love play

with some people that that is my favorite idea for they that I've ever seen the fighting game is the is the fucking three three v three with six people in KOF format that's the best and it worked like except for one match all my on play online play there was smooth so it's happened one way it's like it's actually like okay yeah one match was stuttery but all the rest were fine if there is bad lagging shed and notice that no one else really noticed it but I wanted to see half the budget spent on rock Howard's wings I was not disappointed yeah it's there I was not disappointed um also I listened to since I had a a commute to Orlando I listened to the audio book the death of WCW oh which is just chronicles from from the end by who I didn't catch some wrestler

man smart dude no an author that was into wrestling but what I am sorry I don't know the details because trainer trainer Patrick gave me this audio book and said you'll listen to this you'll and it's like up until the nw up until the Monday night wars it's a very interesting like listen slash read because they're going into all the backstage shit but once the Monday night wars happens this book kind of falls into the trap of like it just constantly compares Raw's and Nitro's numbers okay so he's like oh raw did a 2.5 versus Nitro's and I'm like it just kind of goes from that and until the Monday night wars are done it goes up up until WCW gets sold you know Brian Alvarez I think so maybe uh sorry I don't really

know that it was very interesting it talked about the road that time that when JR talked about Buff Bagwell's mom calling saying buff can't come in today he's sick apparently Buff Bagwell's mom became a character during the show during night show she showed up or something I don't know Nitro I feel like Nitro at least my experience with it was like for every couple Raw's you'd have you just you'd get one piece of info or jump in for one bit and it'd be all you needed here's the thing it does really hammer home the thing that I always knew when I was watching WCW back in the day is that all the undercard stuff was amazing all the luchadors Benoit Booker T Jericho all these guys worked their asses off and they put on the best matches like

you know arguably the wrestling the the techniques and what's happening the ring is better than raw but raw is general storylines and shit and it's main events yeah always better main events on Nitro's stunk up everything like they're just like hey someone got dequeued again no one gets over no one the storylines don't progress like the entire NWO was like in terms of the main event scene as popular as it was the the author is just describing this is what actually killed it because they would book this stuff over and over and over again the same way so it never progressed and when it did they had to get rid of NWO became a whole new storyline of two different groups whatever I was I was listening to interesting reading I was listening to a recent interview

with Charlotte talking about how um like flare flare charlotte flair charlotte flair talking basically because you know when she came in we're like oh cool it's rickler's daughter and whatever and you're seeing that whole thing how like that worked out this time but it didn't work for David flair right at all and what the deal was back then and I must and I forgot I'm like oh my god we did already do this with David flair and he came out with this super red face super little rosy cheeks and they pushed him really hard and he tried but like yeah you know and but they just it was one of those things where he was like yeah before he was ready they just threw him out there and it was more about the name than it was about whether he was into it his name was David

flair you know and that was the end of exactly and so it was like yeah they very much really uh it seems like they were willing to take those risks because um fuck it yeah you know we don't try like try where it goes see if we trip into something good you know yeah you won't you don't even want to know how much they paid uh masterpiece and no limit soldiers oh they got millions of dollars to do nothing oh and they brought they performed though they performed but they had guys come in yeah and grandmaster p said like hey if i show up if i'm on the venue if i'm on the card people will show up and it's like they sold anti tickets but how much did they have to pay people to come in how much did they pay kernan to do the i hate rap like performance they talk about

that detail that song got a lot of play on on country music i like country girls there's only one thing that i hate because it's a bunch of crap i hate rap that that that whole angle died of death after a while so good i also saw my cousin sorry no it was like that was happening right when uh a cousin right when i had a cousin from atlanta that was staying with us and he was so offended like he was so mad like he came from atlanta and he just was salty like yeah it just came to you guys he was yeah he was visiting one trial and he was staying with us for a summer and like we were watching that that bit go off with the no limit soldiers versus yeah i hate rap crew and like more and we were all like ah that's stupid he was like fuck that guy fuck that guy

rap is crap bullshit it's all about the no limit he was so into it it was great uh the mark of a truly amazing gimmick yeah no just neither thing has anything to do with rustling but whatever i also saw logan logan all right that's a good movie right it's a very good movie that like well what else what else are you gonna say the only thing like the only thing even remotely negative i can even say about is like when it's bridging into act three when it's wolverine and laura just traveling there's just just awkwardly paced wolverine's fainting he wakes up he faints again and i was just like this part's weird but that's it that's the only part i didn't like the one thing the one thing one minor point that comes up often when i'm seeing uh these days that like

some people are like ah why that's weird is like the professor x is swearing okay at no that's great no at the start it's it's that it's not great because he says it every few words like he says fuck fuck fucking and then once laura appears he stops because he's like logan language and i'm like yeah no i like it then but when he because i like how they cut it off yes because when he was doing it too much like wolverine you can swear all you want really i don't care but it's not in line with the movies he's in the presence of a gifted youngster yes you know he loves mutants of course so logan's awesome just because he's all posh and shit doesn't mean the professor wasn't swearing his ass off in his own head yeah back in the day he was just putting on a nice face for the kids uh

like all your teachers did i i have to i i don't want to go all into it that much because universal studios was fun it was great uh but the one right i do have to mention is did you guys remember in the mid 90s they announced the terminator 2.5 battle across time movie not only do i remember it what but i i watched a special on it like i like i'm making a thing where they showed tons of footage from it and i and you got to see clips that they filmed exclusively for the ride yeah yeah so fuck yeah so we went to go see this thing it plays once an hour because there's actors on stage that run around right so i just have to go quickly does this have three terminators on the side it has six yeah but it's like three on each side and they're not they're they're like t 80s yeah

they're like even shittier than the ones in salvation yeah so you walk in this woman shows up and she's like welcome to cyber dine we're gonna have a brand new look at some of our exciting new fiscal products i hope you and then linda hamilton comes on and lianna next to me goes what the fuck is this this is she is this huge yeah they filmed it back and i go no they filmed it back then yeah this is like an old thing super i never knew about this so we're watching and they have to separate linda hamilton's face into like three or four because if they blew it up on the tv's that they were using the modern tv's would be pixelated shit so they gotta do a like a picture and picture and picture oh okay that's an interesting way of fixing it okay because then because the

modern there's a modern cg like uh computer-generated thing for uh cyber dine products and that's that was made recently but they have to keep the old footage they have to keep the old footage so then they splice in the the old stuff and she's like you have to get out of that cyber dine facility we're gonna bomb it then john carter turns like mom can't there's anything bystanders and they're saying no john it has to happen so you go and so then the woman the woman shoes away the presentation just goes oh those people won't be bothering us so let's go into the miles dyson uh memorial auditorium and i'm like oh fucking oh my heart so you go in there you watch you watch them do a little show uh john carter runs in they have these these fake terminators on the side of these little

sputter guns that just go and schwarz snager mock schwarz snager so far away from the the stage you can't see them but he comes on his harley on a little track on his little push bike and he just grabs john carter then they careen into the screen then you watch the movie because they go into the through the screen they go through the time portal right right right they come out of the time portal stop me when you feel like what i'm saying is wrong on their harley wearing all their shit and having all their weapons so it's not an old naked man and naked boy growling each other now don't worry about that because that's what it needs to be that's the only way to trick father time no one says anything they continue on their giant machine that they're driving and they progress

to go into the blue and black future world of of uh james cameron terminators yes yes yes so they just drive around they fight things and whatever um it was i was just like oh god this is so terrible the 3d is so bad it's so bad so the schwarz snager blows up a t-800 skeleton it the camera's overhead the the skull shoots up like this and goes back down like it goes in your face because 3d everything is so terrible i'm clapping i'm laughing my ass off having the time of my life so then they do the one thing that i thought no one had actually done except for uh salvation i guess kind of i think we talked about this when we saw salvation man james cameron was smart because he was never going to show what skynet looked like no one could ever think about what skynet would look like how

can a human mind actually process something that would look convincing in terms of salvation was just the stupid factory with chairs and bugs and i hate mondays pens and then there's just a gigantic space cube of helen obonam carter's head or whatever the fuck it was yeah so this movie they're like hey here's our skynet and this is all james cameron stamped yeah that's good guys so skynet from the outside is a gigantic when i said gigantic mass impossibly massive black techno pyramid with fuck yeah with lightning shooting out of all of it and i'm like condense that space for hard drives i'm like fuck yeah that's pretty good that but i need to see inside yes you know yes don't judge don't judge a skynet by its cover no human space go inside no meat space the the the the the movie

screens are watching three movie screens separated by little partitions there's one two three it's almost like you're in a mech yeah you're looking out through the cockpit they go inside and all it is is revolving geometric shapes that are abstract in nature just and i'm like what the fuck this is so cool and then they're going down they're gonna blow up skynet like john what are we gonna do and then the tour just goes like we're going to destroy skynet and she's like all right cool is there any is there any security down here no but there is one it's really good it's literally what he says the t1 million oh okay t1 million comes out like comes out of like the wcw gorilla position any bets on what the t1 million looks like oh god is it just arnie you dressed up

no it's it's it's it's fucking it looks a lot closer to the fucking like t tens than you would expect no no it's it's the fucking oh no no i remember what the t1 million is like hearing him here is someone is it just a gun no no it's the same as the t1000 except a little bit it can't create a man it's just a giant like evil metal scorpion it's an evil metal spider it's it's like 20 feet tall it's an evil metal spider with a million tentacles yeah and it's made out of liquid metal and it come it like jitters and jies between the three screens it's like i'm over here i'm over here oh god i hate that yes that's awesome i hate it they just the worst i love it they freeze it with liquid nitrogen it blows like the only place you can see so lucky so lucky that they had it it's they blow it up

and then they go back through the time for some shit i forget i was because i was laughing too much i had tears in my eyes also when it blows up in liquid nitrogen they they shoot missed at you of course they do because of course they do so then john connor and then the actress that plays sarah connor just stand back to back and pose with their guns and you just hear a voice over going the war is not over and i'm like ah yeah there's something special marked out at how bad it was there's something special to be said about like movies that where they filmed extra bits back then yeah like terminator this is like months or like a maybe even a year after terminator and we're so far into the future that like that's that's a beautiful relic in itself and you have to keep

the footage so in 2012 never touch that someone told me that they're the universal announced we're closing this down it's it's had its run and there was a petition everybody that said fuck no you're not and it's still open yeah everybody so i'm actually really happy for that rundown because i saw this show in japan with the japanese audio really and dad didn't know no idea what the fuck what's going on okay and how old was the kid the kid playing john connor i don't know probably he's probably like 16 17 because the kid in my show was like he looked like he was nearing 30 and he was so far away he could have been 30 for all i know okay so but he has the hair the japanese show you are not far away you are like no we were really far away 10 feet away tops

getting where i want it to go i got 93 shrines i think oh you're getting there you're getting there and i was just like not a care in the having a big fun adventure and then p5 came out and i'm like let's go wrap it up let's wrap that shit up let's go let's go and uh i basically sat down and i went all right let's get to the last of what i want to do um and so i got in just about all of the extra bits i cared about yeah with the exception of um that amazing mysterious mount that we saw yeah because that like is that escapes me but um that's something you can go back to and yeah i i i uh but i got the other awesome uh mounts in the game and uh yeah i'm just like fuck it let's go get in let's go let's do it and beat it and congrats yeah um i can see

like the the like whatever i'm you know we've been talking about breath of the wild for a while yes uh more like a while oh i gotta take a piss that's fine um so i'm not gonna spend i'm not gonna spend too long on it because well i haven't finished yet so yeah i know but not not just that but like people are getting sick of us talking about it because it's all i've been spending my week playing because it's good it's great all i gotta say is at the end it uh is probably my favorite it's my favorite zelda experience right now it's fresh nice so we'll see how that holds up but right now it's my favorite experience because when we replayed um twilight princess and like it lowered my rating of where twilight princess stands again not that it's bad but i was just like when

i played it originally i'm like hey it's good i like it and then like over the years i'm like yeah it's probably not as good as and now like when i went back to it again to you know for the lp i was just like oh it's even worse whereas wind waker is now like higher than when i played wind waker hd well like yeah fucking yeah wind waker there's nice improvements in here uh right now breath of the wild is also my favorites although yeah and it's i need to finish finish is strong you know um really really i'm assuming you got the better ending i don't know what the ending you have to beat all the divine beasts oh yeah yeah of course people have beaten it without that yeah no no definitely definitely oh oh that's fascinating you can do you can do it

because if you think about it of why wouldn't you get oh i can go kick in his ass right now my game but i'm gonna go get those beasts yeah if you feel if you feel like doing it going heavy and hard on it right then yeah you can do it with no help but yeah so anyway um i'll let to say that the uh right now it's my favorite zelda experience but the things that make it like my favorite right now that i enjoyed are not traditional zelda things no and the things that if you were to try if you were tried to try to judge it with any other zelda game based on what you'd expect it would actually fall short in some cases absolutely dungeon design um uh bought music perhaps music is is pretty good in some cases not very present i would say it's a difference in like sound design

style like it's completely opposite but they went for very little music and way more uh foley they went for a lot of like yeah yeah because in immersion you can't hear the same open world theme the amount of time exactly but you you will hear like like sudden quiet moments where you're like i recognize that that's a remix of something i'm familiar with but uh anyway no so um yeah if you were to judge it to any of the recent 3d zeldas or anything like that like all the things that you go like okay what's the cool weapon you get from the dungeon how was that boss fight all that stuff ends up being like eh that's not the part that's super strong here in fact um some of the dungeon designs are repetitive you know some of the boss fights are there's a terrible one and some of

them are really like eh but all the other new things just push it so far that like it's not even to say it makes up for it but i just enjoy doing those new things so much it's it's like how do i put this it really like this is so much farther away from the older games than i expected like i'm not gonna sit here and go like it might as well be a new ip or might as well be a new series right but this this is like spin-off level of change right and all the parts that i liked are all the spin-off parts and all the parts that i used to like are the tried and true like you're right the dungeons are they're boring like they're they're overall just kind of eh except for the one big dungeon which is the whole fucking game yeah well um the and i do love the

place so you can put your dick through a hole no no that's that's that's off the highway that's that's that's a not too far over here that's the truck stop small val yeah um no yeah i was on the valo the street so the uh it's very cool but i went with a friend and we got to check out like there's these like places where the whole idea is one a lot of common shitty bars are not great at what you call mixology yeah yeah right they're not great at like making like the equivalent of gourmet uh cocktails so you have these places that started popping up around town where it's like one um fuck the saq which is the local a government run alcohol a distributor that restricts the types of um i i didn't know this it restricts the types of uh mixes mixers and things it does you can get

in our in our location so they just get like pretty much what's considered contraband material you know uh to stock their shelves with second uh there's there's no menu in these places you just kind of walk in and sit down and it's it's this classy sort of environment but the best part is to the i've been to two of them one is called cloakroom and the other one was the um atwater cocktail club the one of them i got out and i looked at what was an alleyway which is the dude leaning up against the wall and there was a dumpster and then a fucking like shitty ratty door and i just look i and i'm like this yeah this is where i need to be on the map this has to be it and you're like oh am i gonna become batman in a second so i

walked into the alleyway and i walked and i nodded to the guy and he just nodded back and i'm like i'm just gonna pretend i know what i'm doing it'd be funny if you nodded i mean nodded back and you start to go into the thing and goes where do you go yeah but we did not no and and i that's the wrong and i opened the ratty graffitied out dumpster door to this amazing super chill like pianoey jazz bar environment that's what they that's what they do now like new new classy like cool places like this they give you a shit facade dude so all the riffraff don't come in that's that's literally why yeah you know they're doing a lot of woolly yeah riffraff yes yes we are the worst kind um but the sickest was the other place where you walk into uh

it is it is there's a um a tailor right oh Jesus that it's a suit store and a tailor and they have that shit going on and one of the walls is a mirror and a wooden like thing that you lean on to put like just a shelf or whatever and you fucking open that up and walk in through this secret door to sit down in a classy ass drinking environment this is so up your alley it's fucking great it hurts me and here's the thing is here's the thing right i know that the immediate reaction is oh fucking smell your own farts asshole right well they have a room for that yeah but but here's and they see it's called the club yeah yeah and they seat like eight people or whatever stores of farts but here's the thing when the person walks up to you and goes hey what are

because in p4 it was the same way right it was pretty much describing the exact same thing the difference is in p4 it was a disembodied voice slash your own conscience oh now it's a character and in p5 it's a character telling you that you should really go to bed it's hard coded into the game i can see how that would be because when it's your own thoughts your character you're like oh okay my character's reasonable anyone but in this it's like you you try to leave and and moana you're stopping moana goes what are you doing you're so tired you should go to bed and i'm like fuck you yeah god i'll throw you at the window what a subtle difference in design that changes the way you take on the same information you said you said like nintendo if any game should have had a

i saw there's a character at one point who voices the line yeah he was a scum that's awesome there should be more errors like that there are just straight up errors in that they did actually they did a lot to to spruce up a lot of the stuff that would have gotten tiring this go around on this formula there's there's a lot more different ways to level your personal stats which is your kindness variety of knowledge and it's not there are fewer that are just like this one is better this is the best way to raise this stat great instead the general the general gist of it is do you want to rate do you want to get two knowledge points or do you want to get one guts and one kindness uh with some exceptions being uh is the weather different is it a special

day and though on those specific things you'll get like oh you'll get a bonus if you do this one now i witnessed at least part of your nervous breakdown on twitter and you sir i know you and listen there is no winning here let me tell you that you need to stop uh you will not min max your first playthrough just enjoy the ride so that's that's that was the punch through is that uh i have made overall somewhat little progress in the game because i'm only i beat the second dungeon and normally this game came on a tuesday right i would have beaten like at least the third or fourth by now but i had like three or four days back to back where it's like i would sit down and stare at the calendar and be completely able to choose anything um because there there is just

so much more going on with your schedule now um so the main thing is that for confidant slash s link it used to be leveled them up you get an experience called confidants now yeah level them up you get your experience boost if it's a party member they all get the same uh buffs right now all the party members buffs as you level them are different and every single s uh every single confidant gives you very very different bonuses as you rank them up there's one that gives you more experience from battles there's one that opens a really powerful shop so you're saying the first thing every stranger gives you is not a mortal blow no okay no well actually the first thing a party member gives you is baton pass which is a new mechanic okay but uh like this guy lets you uh

get better demon negotiations this guy and they all have great things that are that are quite good and all of the level 10 abilities are super powerful as they damn well should um but because of that there are no longer any like hard ass winners and losers when it comes to your thing because it used to be like okay in percent of four certainly they existed kanji's never gonna leave my party ever blinded by in percent of four right ever he's never gonna leave my party so i feel pretty safe hanging out with kanji every chance i get right oh i could hang out with you to me and hear a cry about her dad or i could hang out with kanji no problem but here it's like well i could hang out with a party member who'll get a little bit stronger or i could hang out with this

person who'll unlock a shop that'll give me these super powerful accessories or i could hang out with this guy they'll let me buy better guns and it's it's like it's because it's more evenly balanced and because more of it is better it is thus much harder to actually decide what to do indecision paralysis indecision paralysis is for real also they actually added more gameplay back to the social link system where now it's do you have the persona with them great like you're hanging out with the devil great you have a devil persona great you can also give them gifts and you can also bring them to special places yep as usual which you know you choose to bring them to a special place you have to unlock those locations that was not there before it's like you know a

character will go like i hate being stuck indoors all day i would really like to go for a walk in a nice park and it's like well if you learned about this other park from this other social link you can you can bring them and then you'll get a bonus the next time you bring them just enjoy the ride just enjoy the ride that's that's the gesture that's the gesture of but no but no it must be correct uh it must be efficient it trains must run on time it uh it is also genuine it generally seems harder to raise your social stats which means that uh the new game plus option is going to be even more invaluable okay um that's a great fucking game that's a super great game oh yeah the other thing i did was the 180 complete opposite of that in quality and uh when my friend of mine

shot with and then the lines that were on camera were all like improved better versions of the original script that was even worse well and and and another ridiculous thing is apparently it was shot in uh super uh high definition as well as well as film but then they same time yeah but then they just never ended up ever touching the digital so because they're filming two different cameras at two different qualities at the same time from what you see in patrick how much do you think the movie cost to make like think about the sets think about you know the general quality of that how much do you think it costs what it should have cost what it should have cost is sub one million okay so like just for something to compare to aliens in 1986 cost 14 million dollars that's

out the door fucking six months early uh the it's the idea it's almost like the i mean it's not a no man's sky patch but it's like it's not a hydrophobia patch but they realize clearly they have a lot to address i i guess what i what i mean is like when i see this many large scale changes fixed this fast they were already they were already being fixed which makes me think was this part of the development and then the date fuck you know like that that game feels like kicked out the door early and that if it came out this winter it would have been well we're gonna see right but it's probably gonna be a much better game by this winter and that's fucking fucked up because they turned it into an early access game you know what this patch isn't evil or EA enough

about like the purity of the fucking original uh a playback right uh the ps2 had some texture smoothing options but it was minimal and the pro has boost mode and that basically just runs the let's the gpu run at a higher clock speed same thing with the psp on some games and that's pretty much it right uh or as we saw with the xbox one when they would emulate games by their their software layer whatever the fuck that is uh games will occasionally run better on the xbox one compared to the old i think red dad runs better i think bio shock runs better as well because it it's it's more of a pc it's not trying to emulate the ps2 or the xbox it's going like hey no look we're running it it's a regular program here we go and the scorpio is kicking that idea forward

and it's like no everything will run better all of it the equivalent the xbox 360 the the equivalent of uh pc ultra level settings yeah uh now what this probably means consumer wise is this is going to be a premium console yes very much so what i'm trying to wrap my head around is how you market that i don't know because i don't know how marketable it is that say mass effect one will run much better now i don't know i kind of see them actually going it's called the scorpio new console it's fucking big and powerful it's so big out xbox we gotta get games on it see this you gotta get the scorpio and also whereas i don't know where's the ps4 pro pushes like checkerboard 4k extremely well like you guys you saw horizon right well yes like looks fucking nice right yeah this

um i foresee that to be the case here where they'll say games are going to be 4k it's like well they don't have to be native 4k they can be 1800p at check and board they can be 16 20 you know all that all those weird ones but it has to be spitting out 3,920 lines or whatever the fuck it is the the so as like like we said everything about the the what they put out here or what digital found you put out here uh is like a next gen console but the fact that there's 100% backwards compatibility on it still does make it seem like an answer to pspro yes but it also adds a lot of value to people like us who have a shit ton of 360 games and just need an easier managing time yeah like granted i still have all my 360 games but i'll probably rebuy them digitally
