the time and i still like it today but like i'm never ever gonna beat it ever ever even a four times even if eight times speed is on i'm just not gonna do it oh even if it was boot up and win no like the best i would do is watch youtube like uh uh cut why do you think that is i don't know i think because i'm like hey it's very grindy and some people were like it's not grindy at all it's grindy if you want to kill all the super bosses yeah and i'm like well i want to see the super bosses well you have to get to the end of the game first so there you go circle you're logic just went a big so you gotta make some decisions i like half the cast and the other half i hate okay so that's a much bigger problem and it's so weird because i know that i know that

vaughn was there for focus testing to be the audience surrogate right we all know that because that was he's a street urchin that was documented and we know that panello was also added just to give him a friend or whatever what about kites what about shut up about kites but so i'm playing i got to the forest you know the vira forest you're saying you know and it's getting weirder and weirder because there are scenes in which characters acknowledge that vaughn exists so ash has a scene with him where they talk about the war because they're like rabbin astern ash is great i like her but then there are scenes in which like ball ther and bosh are talking and vaughn is literally there going how are we going to get there what are you guys talking about and then the camera moves

to exclude him and that's a t this move there are also moments in which like the one time so far in the game where somebody's gone like hey vaughn good job you actually did something did a thing vaughn then follows it up with an incredibly rude and inappropriate question to a party member about her age where he asks fraughn how old she is that's so and everyone and she just goes fucking she and everyone in the party just goes uh and panello goes jeez vaughn oh my god you're such a dick and they all leave and it just pans out on vaughn just standing totally still on a bridge going if you're supposed to be the character that the player identifies that why did you make that scene why like is he is he really titus too no okay titus has

way more agency yeah titus is much better vaughn is a thief and that's all he like he just lives on the streets so he has very little stake he's one of those guys that doesn't matter who rules us they're all lamos so vaughn vaughn is really interesting in the story because he's a good example of what happens when a character is not made by anybody or is not envisioned by anybody on the creative team because marketing you could take you could so a lot of i've been arguing with this in comments for weeks now because everyone's like oh but vaughn does this vaughn does this vaughn does this is like okay let's break down what vaughn actually does he talks to ash a bunch so that she doesn't become a psycho right to keep her levels down and that's his part because he's

like a down-to-earth guy who gets over the death of his brother yada yada well i mean bosh could do that and in some scenes bosh does do that so vaughn isn't actually important for those reasons and aside from that vaughn steals the thing at the beginning it kick starts the story except characters were already going to steal that thing okay so what vaughn did didn't matter so for everything else you could just take vaughn and pick them up and just put them over here and nothing would change in the entire plot well panello too just pick them both up with a big claw machine and just put them over there and the problem is it's like okay yufi is like that vincent's like that right as as examples yeah but they're not the player character that you control in town and

the one you follow not at all the game they're the optional characters that join up for funsies for funsies vaughn's not vaughn is the side character there for funsies but he's the main character it's really weird uh ff12 is great i so now that i don't have to play it exclusively with the wii u gamepad i picked up splatoon i thought you're gonna say final fantasy 12 yeah no no no well i guess like when it comes to 12 as i could remark is from someone on the outside what i appear to see is nothing but statues and figures of the judges yeah and fran and ball theory yeah yeah so like you mean hawn and chewie i if i'm to understand correctly those are the main characters of the story uh and but by going by figures yes you're right so going by what should

have been so matt had said that he hates half the cast and he loves half the cast yeah half the cat four out of six of the cast are the royalty former soldiers involved in in in the plot former members of the plot or a partner of that character in the plot the other two are tag along street kids yeah okay like there's an incredibly clear distinction of people who matter and people who don't and as the game has gone on in time everyone is just kind of pushing the people who don't matter off to the side yeah and going eh get away ball fear he's cool the first thing ball fear says when he shows up is like hey i'm the leading man and you look at him and he is so actually yeah absolutely no that is not that is a power couple that uh like i could feel from

this too much but on xbox video or a playstation video i'm assuming it'll also be there you can watch such brand new movies this week in your home like operation dunkirk and and and and alien invasion covenant yeah yeah those get released still regularly because i think i feel like anything that that that's kind of nebulously like a trademark like oh there was a battle near this place of dunkirk you can't trademark dunkirk because it's a real yeah and they don't start when they go when the movie's in production because they don't know it's going to be a hit yet they have to start after it's already popping off or and complete principle and post production make half the movie and wait wait to see what the bandango numbers are gonna do you don't know

what the what the subject matter should be you gotta wait for what's hot so they basically get a cast together and then they hand them a script the day after the box office numbers come in and do it operation splat Tim yeah and they shoot and film and get pre and post production all done in one week exactly get it out on video and these movies have a lot of CG too real bad that they do i fuck so splat Tim to have you guys been playing splat Tim to i uh amazon oh wait i didn't finish my shitty story sure so i'm like why why is splat Tim everywhere and it made me think about splatoon it had put it you know put the seed in there you know makes me thinking about it because oh splatoon is up and i see cranky going uh how i want to play splatoon but how does it play

without the motion controls and then i think back going like why didn't i play the fucking original oh because the Wii U gamepad stuff oh wait could you not play with the pro controller at all in splatoon you could if you were playing the two player mode yep okay yeah but you even the local two player turn the motion aiming stuff off you still have to use the Wii U gamepad for single player or and i was like oh that's why i turn oh you can play this one with the pro controller normally i'm like oh maybe i can and then i ended up like looking up a and buying it jumping ahead of it now i think every single first party nintendo game they're going to let you play with every single fucking controller giving you the option yeah but but i like the Wii U but i do have to

say that like uh despite my initial concerns in the end like the splatoon um on Wii U the the controller tilt stuff was ended up being fine uh like with star with star fox it it never stopped oh star fox it was always awkward it never stopped being one there would be an adjustment period but it would wind up being fine i uh i naturally fidget so those types of motion aiming are not suitable for me well what ends up happening is when you start like uh you i guess i feel like when you switch to a controller and you're playing local you'll go for like oh this is what i want it and then you realize i can't cover these walls as quickly because i'm just not tilting as fast on my on my targets you know well what happened with me is the it's a more specific problem and

and it's about your tolerance of how much this drives you nuts when i because they make you do the tutorial on splatoon 2 with the motion stuff on and the motion and the pro controller has that built in so you can still use the pro controller and all that would happen is as always moving my character's view would be bobbing up and down constantly because i move my hands and that drove me absolutely crazy like i want my my camera to be 100 locked unless i move it that's pretty hyper specific yeah um like i have no i have no your hands move to the point where your screen noticeably yes shaking the whole time absolutely weird okay do you have parkinson's or no i just i fidget this has never been a problem before motion control but i mean a mouse would have

the same effect i'd imagine i don't know man what like you know when you can you know what you know when you control a guy and you do this yeah okay you know those people that go like crazy to the side when you play mario and like you try to make him jump higher i don't tilting the controller upwards i don't do that no but when you have an object in between the hands i think i understand what you mean where it's like both hands on either side like contributes to even more movement like i'm not good at holding both of my hands completely still when i play a game so get to the point so did you acclimatize did you just all pro controller oh no i turned all that fucking shit off and i've been having a huge amount of fun with it without any of that motion

stuff yeah you go i have not run into any problems in terms of like turning radius or uh not being able to paint walls and part of the reason is the sensitivity settings on that are really high yeah and if you can get used to those like you would acclimatize to the motion stuff i feel like it's just fine it's obviously not ideal but works better for me and you think it's the caffeine no okay you drink just as much caffeine as i do yeah you do yeah and i don't fidget so that's why i'm asking i don't know have you not noticed that i'm i'm constantly have like i have the jimmy legs you do got the jimmy legs you got your plane that you are timmy toe taps every once in a while like you do i but it's like it's not like i'm sitting here fidgeting like like this

yeah but it's like i get your spinner my hand moves just a little when i play games and it's enough to like tilt your view do you play any any uh phone games no okay no because i'm trying to think if there's any phone games that would have a similar thing ridiculous fishing does but ridiculous fishing isn't like two minute bursts man it's only left and right hey so like cutting to the chase when you spawn do you ink the area behind the spawn point of course of course it's free real estate okay like i don't know what kind of fucking amateur hour cast like i'm shocked that so many people are saying there's still people that don't do this that's why i bring it up it is it is shocking it is shocking it's the first thing i did in the first match i did everyone ran away

like two people had rollers and one person had a the regular gun and they all ran out ahead of me and i turned around and there was like the whole fucking spawn area was unpainted baby's first fucking splatoon games unless they are all people who think oh that's the asshole that's going to stick around and do it i don't have to worry about it unless they're done thus they're playing the advanced i'm playing for glory right but at the very least you do a 360 to see that someone's got it okay before you run out yeah can you get to a point where that's such a basic bitch move that i'm not even going to waste my time because my teammates are so solid but we know that people getting lowered into coffins want their splatoon teammates to let them down one last

i just i want to see you turn around before you run that's all yeah that tells me that you knew you looked confirmed that i was doing it okay and then you pieced and that's fine with me that uh so i don't know how it worked i don't know how any of it worked in one because i didn't play it but like the map rotation system is really different in splatoon two where it's one it's two maps for two hours yeah there's yeah it was like no that's it it's multiple times of the day you have these maps and then it's which is super weird compared to like i mean i'm used to overwatch i'm used to call of duty and stuff like that and it's just random random random random random and then they have to add the ability to uh vote on maps because there's that trash map that you don't

want to play on because you want to play over uh it's i think it was just a decision to be different well i appreciate it because as a new player it's helping me learn the maps way faster because i'm doing the same map five times in a row and actually learning it and i'm learning that i hate morby towers like that tower map is awful i fucking hate it makes me not want to play with us on rotation also what is the deal with sam and rush being locked to certain times to get people to i think it well i mean the general idea is to like have everyone rush to play it when it's on you know what i mean like instead of having available all the time it's like have have it kind of like a carrot to the horse and be like everyone it's on now let's go

let's go let's go maybe they looked at times where they saw people were not playing during the day and said let's put them there i don't i don't get it man because i only want to play sam and rush with like friends of mine and the fact that i can't is baffling it's super weird also did you guys mess around but aside from that man that game's fun oh the first one was fun it's well yeah but i didn't know that well yeah i thought i knew that other people thought it was fun so i mean i could all right listen i'll just i'll just uh say right now amazon has refused to send me every nintendo product i've ever preordered with them but you've doubled down and decided to go with them once again i said i'll double down and go with them once again when they fail to deliver me arms

so i bought arms digitally but uh for splatoon 2 um i just went fuck this and just bought it physically went home saw on sunday it had still not shipped canceled it and i'm like why why do i buy like i'd be better off uh preordered with best buy i think that actually said nintendo for after the 3ds kerfuffle you remember that with the hinges yeah they only give amazon their fucking stock on like day of release it seems so instead of a snide comment i'm just gonna ask honestly why not go digital because everyone said they were having problems even downloading it because the servers were overloaded no one could get it yeah that's that is a viable answer on the first day on the first day hammering the the plus i wanted the box in the box art guess what if i can i'll get every

switch game physically just because the boxes are the nice boxes they are nice boxes but i get i think that like i feel like we should all be in the same place of like shelf spaces at a premium now uh if shelf spaces is super premium with me but i still want them boxes son for me for me it's not even shelf space anymore it's the ability like i was ruined by my illegitimate psp and the ability to swap two dozens of games without changing any piece of hardware yeah that the ability to go from playing ff tactics to got a war would you boop boop boop like just spoiled well even on your vita you could just grab different yeah but i'm just saying like that was the the start but you know what then i got used to it on the vita and then i got you know on the

360 or the ps3 or the ps4 the xbox one or even the no on those i think it is annoying to have to get up and go to your box take out the disc put in the tray uh press a button for it to go in but for switch games or something oddly neat about like about the tiny little thing and just put it in yeah but i also don't like it's less annoying i also don't miss the traveling cases right of like when i want to carry a bunch of games that i'm not sure i want to play well no you just put them in a ziploc bag and have them all loose in there like if you had the sheikah slate uh with switch all that has all those things i mean i have one that has spots you know i have spots but i guess i just i just like the i have the i like having it all there because to me steam

is the best i just love how i can yeah i know for sure not think about it but steam doesn't have cool boxes well that's why i that's why i still opt in for collector's editions you know yeah but at this point i'm pretty much only going for collector's editions because i'm just like i don't have no shelf space man all right so now that now that we're all now that we you've been playing splatoon as well right i know no i i just bought mine yesterday i haven't had a chance to boot up i only played it like last night the night before you you haven't gotten in on splatoon at all i mean i played a ton of splatoon one i just haven't jumped on this okay because everything that i can see personally it's like it's a it's a sequel yeah like it's the most sequel last sequel it's call of duty

precision pixel placement i can't think of anything with less precision in a drawing capacity than a stick dude no way man you're crazy because a a tight stick with a goddamn like okay if it's really tight okay a tight stick with not an octo gate on it but like a standard four directional gate is gonna have you go up and go in your cardinal directions like exactly as much as you want it to be no weird in between if you want to go crazy you can even add like a i'm not sure what the type of stick it was called but a cross or pac-man style stick in which it can only move in the four cardinal direction yeah well that's a gate you can just take any normal stick you want to put a four directional gate on it and lock it so that it's a and then it feels like a gear shift

yeah and then you have a proper fucking pixel perfect like masher machine you can masher machine you can you can all your button bashing um there is there is no pressure sensitivity however was butter pat but butter bashing was button bashing ever real did the people in the uk lie to us no it doesn't matter if they lied it's true now one was a button basher because there were buttons that you had to bash you literally had to bash them as hard as you could to get the strong attacks out because button bashing still makes me laugh now that was that was the first version right and then they later went to six button that's correct okay but realizing that no one knew how many strengths there were so they assumed like a strongman machine harder you blasted

yeah shout outs to takashi mike for making it not terrible he wasn't terrible exactly now as now was it great no it was just shy of grato does it but the main thing is that you can't at all be a new fan to jojo going into this movie a lot of it is beyond gibberish like if this is your first time experiencing jojo it is the worst thing you can ever do to somebody at least you'd have to have rip up your friends take it absolutely yes it is okay um do not you're not allowed to see this if you're new it's a lot of narrative shortcuts taken zero explanations i'm talking to the point where the closest thing you get to a moment because he gets pissed off when you when you make fun of his hair joseki does yes that's correct and and there's it gets to a moment where it's like

he's sitting around the table with granddad and mom and and granddad's like oh you know back in you were four years old you almost died but you didn't you made it and now you're okay and joseki just goes yeah and he pulls out a comb and combs his hair and and that scene moves on and that's the only thing you're getting is he combs his hair well we don't have time for that scene in the runtime uh the the biggest no no no no like mine is mine is i i told you this yesterday but i was like jota roe just shows up and he has this photo of the guy he's looking for and anyone that has no idea what's going on be like why does he have a photo this photo come from and it's like don't worry about it he's got a polaroid of the band that the fuck it he mentions

joseph in passing they say they say my name anything more than that listen here's what you need to know all right here's a high want to know the main character of this movie is fucking police officer he got shkata oh really granddad cop is the main character he gets so much play he is the big hero of the city he's the best cop in the world everyone loves him he's hanging out with everyone making sure kids are on the straight and narrow you know and down to the point where like one of aqua necklace's first victims is a kid that or is it one of these guys like he's a street punk but the granddad's like oh you're not a bad guy yeah you're our hey man stop skipping out on the class you know and he's like okay all right you know and then he gets he does something

bad and gets possessed or whatever they give him all these extra scenes and moments they had he gets some of the biggest laughs where like he's working out to like fucking get pumped i can't protect my city if i have noodle arms like he gets some of the biggest pumps and like it's that yeah it's that actor that's in a lot of tecashy make a movie yeah the old guy um so they really push him hard and and therefore push the impact of what he dies you know uh there's uh i think in the end we get ghostly cg purple man stands okay but because they're kind of ethereal it's like all right for the most part sometimes they become solid and look super duper shiny ridiculous star plan appears like for about five seconds and looks the best because he's pretty much ghostly the whole time

uh whereas uh echoes looks terrible echoes looks like trash and it's like you just can't get around a big dumb shiny echoes well the problem the problem is echoes act one and two kind of look terrible already but but like the texture of how their skin should look in real life everyone's shiny is not reflected well in the telltale japanese cg uh yeah it's that stuff yeah but it was actually better than i expected i actually expect a lot worse when i see a japanese cg movie the uh the other thing that like uh people were saying that like there's rumors going around that there's a big twist right and i think that's that's a misnomer i think that that's calling it a twist is is inaccurate a twist to me is something where it's like we didn't you didn't expect this we did this

on purpose to surprise it on a tear right back and that's not what this was doing uh there's just quite simply edits for time right so if you're wondering where does this go and what does it go up to you pretty much go from the beginning of the story through aqua necklace uh and then through worse a company worse worse a company right and then you get to the part where they're up in the attic and the monster dad is revealed you know and everything's happening and you're like all right so here is where the moment goes down and uh uh uh yeah in kei chiro nijima road does the whole like yeah fuck you okay ask you you're dead to me yeah and then oh no the big threat happens and it's not red hot chili peppers mother fucking uh um uh another one bites the dust

bursts through the fucking window lands in his mouth and blows him the fuck up so that's edited for time we cut right the fuck to the chase get get red hot chili peppers out of this story that whole part that whole sequence gone no he destroys uh uh kei chiro and the bow and arrow right then in there bam and we're going just skipped 50 percent of the manga roll credits because we're going straight to keira in part two okay and then it'll just be all cure all the time enigma's gone yeah radio tower guys a superfly is gone um um a sheer heart attack rather sheer heart attack yeah uh uh no no the rest of us yeah but yeah no like ever like yeah this that's that's the stuff you need to keep in and then you can just do a whole cure movie and then you can be done and

say that you did a whole story basically and that makes sense to me that honestly is probably the best way to do it and it was and it went a long time too like it felt long enough that like if they dedicated a whole second movie to kira you would definitely get the first half of it like or the first maybe even 75 percent as a proper kira chase and then the last bit of kosaku you know going on uh for the finale yeah i it feels you could do a 22 minute tv episode of the entire kosaku art there's some really weird stuff where um maybe two maybe 40 like yukako gets really good play where she has this insane creepy relationship with um koichi the whole time but she's not even a fucking stand user at all there's nothing going on with it she's just literally creep girl

that's hanging around forcing him to do homework just hanging out yeah being way up in his face and she's playing and she's basically playing as like a joke you know what i mean in the couple she and she's in and it's funny but like she has no oh yeah because that has to be cut for time as well exactly so she could be a stand user so all we know right it's just it's just it's just uh koichi has a crazy stalker girl and that's all it is right now you know um that's true love the what else was there the uh the way the actual stand battle plays out like they're pretty there were those were they were accurate that was good that was fun you know that was it was done all right i have the moment where they break down the wall and then there's the water heater going off

they do yeah all of it all of it's there that's my favorite shit about the aqua necklace fight it's so stupid because because there's two like fights that were very like jojo where it was like i thought 16 steps ahead of you and there and even though i played dumb i am now going to like there were two moments and that's the moments where like people were clapping going yeah but that was like it it's the well because it's the it's the two first fights which established josuke as a smart fighter you know in the last the last scene in the mansion like i was saying it just goes on and you're like yeah they spent a long time with that they get they get up they get up to the mansion and they do the i'd say the third act is the weakest part because it just it just lingers because it's not

supposed to be the third act as much as it's supposed to be exactly but that's what i mean but like yeah you get all the right moments where fucking you're seeing little cg men soldiers shooting and all that crazy shit and they do a pretty good job of like showing the the the effect of the shots like when ok yes it gets shot up on the face and the little weird pinholes you know and then yeah you get the beaten up like like the josuke really goes over the top with the the japanese voice acting not voice acting japanese style like i'm bleeding out and i'm still walking because i'm determined to be a badass kind of thing like he's practically crawling on the ground but they do the whole moment where like he's sitting across like it and he's

like my move is already complete and you get your your cool jojo stuff happening um they replace a lot of the themes we know from the show with their own movie versions so um that stuff is fun angelo gets fucking rocked yeah as it were um the effect of like when someone gets punched through the gut and saved and then really healed is pretty good they do a lot of like because they basically play with the they do the healing stuff in a way where since it's too hard to show things reverting backwards camera tricks kind of like it's just it's just back it's just back right one shot has like uh um like the guy that gets beaten up in the beginning that's that's teasing josuke like his leg passes by the frame and as his leg passes by the frame he goes from

beaten up and bloody so it's just instant it's just bam it's just magic happening exactly and uh probably how would it actually appear and jotaro is so interesting because it's like you've got the right voice and attitude you're absolutely conveying the the manly aura of of jotaro but suddenly it's too frilly he said he's he's he's really thin yeah and he looks like worn down in a way where it's kind of like i guess i could see you having your big deal fight but well because you're just manga or the anime he doesn't appear any much older you know like just visually and in this he like looks like he's a guy in the manga in his 40s yeah it's more in his clothes but it's like he's an adult yeah he's no longer a high school and you get the feeling that

it's like well they're kind of fucked there because like how do you go backwards because the but in jojo when you're a fucking high school or you're a 35 year old bodybuilder well yeah that's the problem like as time went forward like jose jotaro to joseki was like the and then joseki to uh jorno was the tipping points each had a big tipping point where it went from like enormous mega man yeah to human being yeah to life fuck boy and your scale starts here your scale problem starts with koichi who looks like a college student you know like you're not convincing anyone because he's obviously not the super tiny ridiculous dragon ball character he's a little person straight up but here he's just a college student you know like and so you've got to scale everyone

up from that and of course you know and uh joseki ends up being like yeah you're you're way older than high school should be okuyasu is a man yeah yeah you know and jotaro is 40 yeah and you can't pretend he's not so what's like joseph is like what a pile of bones he's he doesn't exist no no but in the movie they I think he says he's like 81 or something yeah that's what I say he's getting up in his years but he's not but he's he doesn't show up you know um joseki's mom looks dead fucking on they did a really good job casting her I have to say to remember remember there's that line where someone barked out a laughter and I was like huh and you explained a bit yeah yeah yeah it's of course the moment when grandpa dies so they do an interesting thing with that too because he goes

for the healing moment and then it actually heals the blood and like damage from his body and then they go awesome and then they go back down to deal with the fight right so that that whole that whole the reveal doesn't happen until later after the fight's done then they go hey granddad what come on the manga and the anime it happens right away it's like you can't bring his soul back and his body yeah and and so just you know like and so yeah you get that moment of uh jotaro being like you know no stan can bring back from the dead once there's someone in the far back of fear going ha ha well everyone because the meme as we all know is you're an asshole jotaro you literally brought back your dying granddad from the dead you know and I was like oh that's true

because you know me madly dover madly dover like what stand can do that you know well there's like star platinum there are there are multiple stands that can do that one of which is in part four but it's like not even yet not even 10 years ago just jam a plate of pearl jams food into his dead body well he's like no joseph and i was like all right didn't joseph have like a huge hole in this fucking chesting geo is inside ripping his body joseph has every single drop of blood drained from his entire body and is stabbed multiple times in the face and throat with knives sucks dry and he is left on the floor for what must be half an hour yeah and then they they fill him up with deal blood and he's fine he's super fine oh oh i forgot the best part what

joseph's soul leaves his body you see the ghost you see the ghost yeah don't forget that's the moment that always matters in every jojo is when you see the fucking spirit in the sky and they literally see him hanging out with the rest he gives jotaro thumbs up the big leg you got this one heaven no no i get back into this old body man you're not done cheating on your family it's a really like man i know we're just harping on the manga but it's a really screwed up moment when you read the manga sequentially because those moments are only like a hundred pages apart yeah it's it's pretty extreme they're really bad but yeah that's exactly it it's like you're such an asshole your granddad's not an important stand user so fuck him maybe it's like i only i

want to be the only guy that can bring people back from the dead with his mice there's a super weird moment in that storyline where jotaro's like it's not an important stand user so fuck it where hey this is a violent murderer killing like on a mass scale that the countries have never seen but it's not a stand user that's not so i'm out of here let the cops handle it my stand will be the judge of other stand users i don't care about normal crime like what yeah but you jotaro's the best jotaro what about people who pollute the oceans and punch dolphins uh you need so so back on the movie though if you are a fan and you need to see it simply for witnessing with your own two eyes the live action version of pulling a fucking glove out of your mouth yeah tied with

aqua necklace in it it's some goofy shit i bet it's like i started laughing pretty hard i bet and it looks so dumb but they do it they commit to it and god bless to gashy mike for not turning away or not like you know trying to like fix it up full on he leans into the to the all the stupidity of of it and he fully embraces it so that's great um but i'd say between he improves what even what is the the hand fight really he improves it because when he does that when you see josuke get up and position himself to fight okuyasu in the beginning outside the house he doesn't fucking stand by a wall and then a bunch of pots hit him in the face he positions himself in front of a giant fucking statue yeah and and okuyasu swipes and gets wiped the fuck out by

tons of rock it's brutal yeah there's some good action in this movie some big wipeouts you know so like yeah you can't you can't don't don't don't don't like that improve to the fight definitely but between this and ace attorney i enjoyed ace attorney more as a film because it's more digestible like a court case yeah is more digestible for like a motion picture format where it's like yeah you're like yeah they stretch this fight out because it was the only logical point in which to stretch it out to make an ending it and and i think that like they they just kind of wanted to really play the reason why i think they stretch it is because this is a film where the main villains the main villain is uh the nijimura brothers yeah so to give him his proper

send off do like and whatnot if this is a jojo story you know that there's multiple chapters and villains to go so you can speed that it says chapter one when the movie starts yeah and chapter two is going to be uh kira but like because he was the main villain of this whole thing his thing was the whole thing with the dad needed to like last long enough you know to whatever to give him you know emotional until they go into what the dad is at all they go they fucking they go our dad's a monster and we need someone to kill him because he can't be killed right why is he like that huh what what are you huh what are you talking oh no there's a stand i don't have time to explain 70 years of world history dude they don't touch bullshit dude they touch nothing oh my god and there's

someone working up the ranks to get a promotion he stayed as a beat cop so that he would like protect the city with his own two fans and like this broken watch represents that he wanted to stay as a police officer and so then you know at the end uh joseki takes the watch and fixes it and he's wearing the granddad's watch now you know so like they really push that thing and it's already like the thing that made granddad what he is was the kira case yeah so they're linked even more in uh than the than previously thought but thinking about it over again remember a time out when maybe a trailer appeared before it showed stands is that like the movie unfortunately also smacks of like we did it at part four

so it's literally just holding the functionality hostage until you download their app it looks like the most cynical like just way to force you to make their app look popular but then you find out hey guess what uh there's no way to actually it's just another private match there's no way to run with a party at all in that game and the functionality is nil for this app it's nil okay so i don't say this often yeah but when i do i mean it okay i would rather have nothing oh yes but you don't have nothing you can just boot up discord of course and that's that's a solution that but even in a world where discord did not exist i would still i know i would rather have this thing is the worst this thing is this thing is worse than even my most cynical estimates

reaction is is playing out and i think you're going way too far on on that side i don't i don't think that like um it's unwarranted with how excited people are for dragon ball that they're looking at at marvel and they're looking at street fighter five and going we want better from cap generally like dragon ball is an all new thing like we had these standard dragon ball games are coming out like every year and this one is like vastly different plays much more to the fighting game crowd and is like new at the same time every stance on the internet gets driven to the extremes so there's always going to be people that get to the point of ridiculousness such as those who are like yeah these top players guys are getting paid behind the scenes to hype up the game that's

ridiculous absurd that is absolutely like you're you're out of touch with reality there's one high-end player being paid to hype these games and his name is pete rosa and he works for capcom like because it's his job yeah you know i think that's silly uh i think that um the fact that like it's definitely possible and plausible even that the fact that they're friends and know each other and like you're close to the community and you know and you know the people that work on both games and such leads you to not really want to shit talk it in a in a in a way that looks unprofessional because quite simply when you're at a world stage where people are paying attention to everything you say you tend to want to be more cautious about shitting on anything it's way easier

and more friendly to and pr friendly to be positive about things most of the time than it is to be negative and then cynical and then kind of possibly shoot yourself in the foot in some way or whatever the case may be man this is gotta gotta be yeah but it just it's just it's like occum's razor here is just when you're a public figure shit talking things is probably not in your best interest in the same way that actors all say that this guy was the best person to work with he's so nice but when you see an actor trash a movie director they have made peace with the fact that i'm never gonna work on a project of theirs and that's and that's pretty much fun exactly i'm good with burning that bridge forever you know so it's not to say that um

versus uh jubei's reveals right they got similar reveals at the end of trailers yada yada yada right and jubei was a long-standing character that everybody wanted there must be something that had a uh a design that wasn't really common in that game abigale was uh no one brand new character who had a design that let's be honest most people aren't gonna like but they also screwed up his trailer yeah like they straight up looks way more normal screwed up in the in the w s o session right like that character's probably gonna be fun and that character's probably gonna be good for street fighter five but that doesn't change the fact that it's easy to shit on him because they fucked it up and they showed him bad mm-hmm yeah so and a lot of marvel's uh enhanced

negativity is also splashing on s f5 which already had some and again default emotion right it's fun get on that hate train right that's what people generally do but regardless of that it's it's very naive and silly to think that like um the excitement people have for dragon ball is is like therefore like getting or rather is is is gonna get out of hand when it comes to like the level of hate that capcom's getting on this stuff because at the end of the day people want better of this product the reason why capcom's getting hate is because capcom ruled the roost for fighting games for so long yeah you deserve better they and it's also microscope over them rather as the other guys don't and it's not like it's unclear what they should be doing better the slam dunks are
