Starting point is 00:00:00 Hello, everybody. It's Monday, August 24th, and we've got some choppo for you. Joining us on the show today are old friends, our old friends, the Trillillies. It's Tom, Terrence, and Aaron back in the house. Gentlemen, welcome. All right. Thanks for having us, guys. Our pleasure. All right, gang. Well, to kick things off, you know, as Felix and I do, you know, with some regularity on Mondays to kick off a new week, I thought I would do our
Starting point is 00:01:00 periodic updates into how is the war with Iran going? Just an update on, the current state of the war. This is like, you know, I pose that question and then I read a news article that would seem to answer that question. And this week, it is this.
Starting point is 00:01:17 This is a headline from last week, came out the other day. This is the headline from NBC News. Army unit offers re-enlisting soldiers four-day class to play Grand Theft Auto 6. The incentive is open to members of a Georgia battalion who re-up for two to six years. The hotly anticipated game comes out in November. Going further in the story, it says here, more than 100 army soldiers in Georgia this year
Starting point is 00:01:43 are being offered a four-day pass to play the eagerly awaited video game Grand Theft Auto Six on one condition. They re-elist. That's the deal available to 130 members of the 3rd Infantry Division based at Fort Stewart ahead of the game's mid-November release, a third infantry division spokesperson, Lieutenant Colonel Angel Tomko confirmed to NBC News. So far, 20 soldiers have accepted the proposal,
Starting point is 00:02:06 which requires them to relist for two to six years, Tomko said in a statement. So I guess I'll just begin by asking, is four days of playing Grand Theft Auto 6 worth it for another six years of your life in the Persian Gulf, drinking diarrhea milkshakes on the USS? Yeah, I mean, yeah, if you plan on dying day, one. Yeah, you kind of win that deal.
Starting point is 00:02:30 I play I play GTA. I'd like go and then they're like, okay, I don't know what they're having army guys doing this war. I know the old joke is like, oh, the Navy is like the army's mom that drives them to soccer practice.
Starting point is 00:02:46 But as far as the Marines do amphibious assault. So I would be on like one of those D-Day carriers and I would just like hold up like a big like foam finger. Like it's here. hit us and then I've won. You know, I've won. I got four days of playing and they didn't even get like one hour of war out of me. Yeah, but like it's not like there's a limited supply of Grand Theft Auto 6. You know what I mean? Like if you miss the release date in November, the game will surely be there when your regular tour of duty is up. You know? That is like an older fallennial call. Like a fallennial born in like 85 or before who still thinks there's like,
Starting point is 00:03:26 GameStop will run out of discs if you don't buy it at midnight. I'm more, okay, so I thought this was, I did the thing that people, you know, I often tried people doing it. I only read the headline for this. I didn't know until now that it was only a hundred guys. Yeah. So these are, you know how in high school certain kids would still be in the readout loud classes? Do you think this is like one of those humans?
Starting point is 00:03:56 units and they're like, okay, if we, okay, this is like the dumbest, these are the only guys who could fail the calculation of like four days of playing versus the potential six years of enlistment. And if one out of five of these guys are more, go for that, then we can get at least five percent of the regular army to reenlist. I don't, like, is this, this is, this is like the sort of dirty dozens unit for like the stupidest. stupids of the army? Well, it used to be the case if you were reenlisting in the military like at after a tour, you were like in hock to the check cashing joints or like otherwise your life was crumbling. You know what I? This is kind of a departure from me.
Starting point is 00:04:40 But I feel like as a former like guy that used to like line up to buy Air Jordans or Supreme and stuff, like I kind of understand the early access part of it. And like it scratches a certain like poor part of my brain. but yeah, I don't know. I just, if you died because you took that deal, you would bring great shame to your name forever. There's no coming back for that. No, man, I just think that if you reenlist,
Starting point is 00:05:09 you should have to reenact missions from GTA6. You know what I mean? I think it would be funny if you took that deal, but you just did, like, what I do when I play those Rockstar games where you just, like, drive around for, like, three days and, like, rack up, like, yeah, you'd go. Exactly. Like you don't do any of the missions at all. Just trying to run. I mean, basically what they do actually when they're at war.
Starting point is 00:05:33 Exactly. That's like, yeah, it would be great to be at a smarter unit of like, and they're still not smart. Smart compared to the general population because they're reenlisting to play a Sony exclusive, like the next, whatever the next Spider-Man game is after the horrible last Spider-Man game. and you get to, the missions you reenact are like the walk and talk missions where you're like going to pick up food with Mary Jane
Starting point is 00:06:01 and she gives you a bunch of boring exposition. I just, okay, so I was interested the perspective of a former Supreme buyer. One thing I did think about this is like obviously we all have the same reaction, which is,
Starting point is 00:06:19 you know, why couldn't you just leave the army and play it theoretically forever. Perhaps these are the 100 guys who they would just, they are out of money when they leave the Army. Like there's no, they cannot get $60 to get. They'll never have $60 at once in any post-army future.
Starting point is 00:06:45 Yeah, no, no, 100%. And I got to be honest with you. At one point, I was that guy that made that cost-benefit analysis like, okay, Do I want the new sevens or do I want to like pay rent this month? I mean, brother, I have been there. Trust me. You know, I, to put a bow on the Spider-Man thing,
Starting point is 00:07:04 I once put a pair of the Spider-Man ones on Klarna. That's not something I really. Also, too, wait, hold up. So Felix, art game is more expensive now than 60 bucks because I haven't gave it a long time, but I thought like the price it went up, Not even just the price of the games, but the PlayStation as well with like, I guess, storage being so expensive and electronics writ large, given the whole AI thing, just becoming like more expensive for people actually enjoy, you know? Yeah, I mean, I got my PC the one I'm on now during this weird middle period where crypto had crashed and AI wasn't big enough yet. And my GPU was really cheap and storage was really cheap during that time.
Starting point is 00:07:47 the average game is like $60, sometimes $70 now, which considering they were 50 when I was like in middle school isn't so, that's other things have gotten more expensive, it's still not great. It is, again, again, we have to look at this not through our eyes, through the eyes of the guys in the unit. Are these the types of men who like you see, the deluxe version of this game with an extra hat for $85?
Starting point is 00:08:17 Do they buy that one every single fucking time? And so they think the average price of games is like $150. Yes. Yes. And so who knows what they're paying for console? Like they could, particularly evil scalper or salesman could be like, oh yeah, the average price of a PS5 is like $20,000. You would deal with this $10,000 one.
Starting point is 00:08:41 As a re-enlistment bonus, this seems a little bit wanting to me. But the thing is, everybody. You know, it's the most anticipated video game of all time. I think the Department of War should nationalize rock star games. And they can fully a subsidiary of the Pentagon. And that way, if any young American wants to play GTA6, the only way you can play it is by joining the military and going to war with Iran. But the only copies of GTA6 will be available on the USS Lincoln.
Starting point is 00:09:11 But hold of, aren't they mad, though? Aren't the Chuds mad, though? that like, that, like, they're calling this game woke because, like, and I don't know, I haven't getting a game for a long time, but like, they're like, so they're going to play a game in which, like, I mean, like, there are characters, women, and people of color that they just totally disagree with, but they're willing to sign up to die to play a game that they hate before it even came out. Like, I don't get it, man. The Deuterogynist, it's a white man, Latino woman.
Starting point is 00:09:43 Isn't that pretty much? That's like the Trump two coalition. Right? Right? That's not too far. That's not too far for them. And, no,
Starting point is 00:09:56 I'm imagining a racist who plays all of the GTA games except for San Andreas because that's a black limit guy. I mean, yeah, actually retroactively he hates the game. He used to love him retroactively. Yeah. They got grand,
Starting point is 00:10:11 these guys didn't even list. They got grandfathered into, service because their dads took this deal with GTA with GTA San Andreas and that's how much stronger the army was then was it was like oh we'll let you play GTA San Andreas for like a day but you have to reenlist for six years and your kids have to enlist too they're just getting done with like the generational punishment inflicted upon them by the Bush administration I like will's plan I like any plan where you nationalize stuff. I think it's, I don't even, I like to nationalize things that like aren't American.
Starting point is 00:10:49 Like, I think we should nationalize Audi because, you know, I like those cars. I like those cars. Yeah. But. Maybe nationalized Star Trek probably. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, that's not really up my out, but like for a lot of people I know like it. So why not? Aaron, you're speaking my language. Yeah, exactly. Would America win a war against Take Two Entertainment and Dan House are. Do you think like you think five years ago I would have said yes Felix but I'm not so sure today Yeah I kind of see I see rock star sort of like um you know how they portray cartels on landman
Starting point is 00:11:27 Where they have like fighter jets and shit and like nooos I don't yeah uh Branson has like really fucked me up by Branson is really into watching reels of the show blacklist have you guys The show with James Spader. My sister fucking loves that show. I've never watched it, but she loves that shit. It's the fucking don't. We have to do an episode of a Blacklist with Branson because it's, we've been killing each other.
Starting point is 00:11:55 It's, it's just about like this middle age guy who his, he's the, he's the funniest job. He's a for profit terrorist. They offer profit? We just call that soldier of fortune. Well, he's, he is like a GTA protagonist. Like, he, he's the only guy where it's like, he's like, he's the only guy where he's like, blows up a car in the middle of nowhere and they're like oh you gain 10,000 dollars like in gta 3 he has a respect meter uh and in in that show like he's just like the Irish mob in New York has like a
Starting point is 00:12:29 new that the James fader character red can exploit he's always he always has these he's the most insane character uh ever in network TV and that's saying a lot because he's like omniscient he just He will, he will, like, he, they love having scenes where he meets with, like, FBI agents. And he's like, here's what you had for lunch. He like, here's what, oh, do you use, like, pads or a tampon? I know that. So he's like, so he's like an elemental type of figure. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:13:01 Yeah, yeah. But they just try to make it like, oh, this guy's so good at, like, fucking planning. But he's constantly, like, getting random, like, criminal elements, like, point ICBMs at people. that's sort of how I picture Dan Houser and take two and a try I think Dan Houser kind of looks like James Spader in Blacklist like in a way have you ever seen a picture of him doesn't he wear like a funny hat or something man like a bowler or some shit I could I think free my like early days of my space Dan Houser probably wore like a ridiculous hat okay like a fedora every guy who became like a multi-millionaire when they were like 43 uh and was like, oh, I'm cool now. That was their move. It's either a can go, a fedora, one of those two most likely. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:51 You don't understand how influential mystery was. Hey, he helped me lose my virginity. Yeah, no, yeah, he took mine too. He cracked me. I never forget. Aaron, I wanted to go back to something. said earlier about like, could there be any inducements that would get us to join the military or perhaps re-enlist in the military in a time of war? Now, Spencer, Spencer posed a very, a very
Starting point is 00:14:25 juicy one to Felix and I, but perhaps you boys will, might feel similarly. Felix, check this out. Okay. The Winds of Winter. It's already written. It's done. It's George Martin's just fucking with people. The book is done. In fact, like the next two books are done. It's written. He will give access to it, but we have to join the IDF. Okay. What George loves misdirection, right? Like he loves to present a character to us like Sandark-Lagin, where we think he's so bad and scary and then, you know, there's more to him.
Starting point is 00:15:02 What if joining the IDF, it's like a mummer's farce and it's like part of a plot to take down? Because George wouldn't sign up for this. Like George isn't like, oh, let's. oh idea. George, George never like signed one of those stupid open letters. He never did like a post that was like, oh, the DeNaris Targary. And, uh, if she like succeeded in the Azo's, her ideal society would be like Israel today. So presumably he's, he wouldn't be on board with this if this was like the end goal was supporting Israel. I think this is like it, it ends with the destruction of Israel. I think. But like at the same thing with what I said previously,
Starting point is 00:15:42 about like you'd have to play like the missions from the games and the war. They're not going to give you a dragon or some shit, you know what I'm saying. You know, I'm dying. I'm not. You have to add an added, but you have to have an added benefit perhaps, you know, to sweeten the deal maybe, you know. I just, I just need to know what happens. I've invested too much my fucking life in this life.
Starting point is 00:16:01 Okay. Sorry Gaza Strip. You know what? I'm not made a stone. It isn't say, no, that we're such. like a culture, especially, I guess, if you're between the ages of 18 and 35, where you're the target demographic for a lot of these games and movies, you know, where like people have been waiting for some of the shit for so long that it's like, what would you do? Would you steal from
Starting point is 00:16:29 your mama's wallet pocketbook? Or would you join a losing war? And perhaps die, as Felix said, on the first day, you know, just a play. I mean, I, so what if you did this? Like, you You enlist in any military, like another, I think either like morally repulsive like Israel or like just the worst war ever to fight in. Like you enlist either in the Russian or Ukrainian military to get the last two. Yeah. What like what if you do? What if you join like yeah, the Ukrainian military and you just spend your whole life living under fucking nets and. everything in your MRE is pickled.
Starting point is 00:17:15 It sucks. What if you read it and it's like exactly the same as the show? Exactly. They don't continue. They just drop the John Con and and Agon stuff. That just disappears. There's like like, let's say the books like 900 pages,
Starting point is 00:17:32 450 of those pages are just sand snakes bullshit. And they immediately die. I would, that would, I would be mad, but I'd be like, ah, you got me. I mean, they don't, they don't give you an M4, brother. They give you a broadsword and you have to use that. Oh my, my God. They give you a morning star, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:17:52 Is there, is there an experience closer to being an Iron Islanders than being a Westerner who signs up to fight for Ukraine or Russia? That is, that is like so, we're going to reeve and then you just instantly get fucking exploded by a drone. or underfed malnourished. Yeah. My commanding officer, Dagmar. They're going to feed you how they feed you that dickens in the dark ages, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:18:21 Moldy bread and corned beef that has some unknown parasite in it. You know what I'm saying? Not meaningfully different from the situation back home right now. 100%. On them ships, yeah, yeah. Well, it's funny you bring up beef, Aaron, because another story that I, I love this week is that Trump is like,
Starting point is 00:18:41 basically like got a discount on like spoiled beef. They're gonna import something like 300,000 metric tons of beef like below the market rate. Bro, bro, that's like when you go to Walmart, Aldi,
Starting point is 00:18:58 and he put like the closely inspired meat up close to the front and maybe they discounted a little bit, you know what I'm saying? So, yeah, I wish Spencer didn't get us started on we had gone like 80% of an episode last time without mentioning any of this to a lot of
Starting point is 00:19:15 people's delights but spencer got to started on the song of ice and fire stuff early this time so this is like the type of stuff that the andle kings were doing before a ton showed up this is like this would get songs written about you if you're one of the shitty river kings that you got a bunch of fucking suspect beef from like uh lease this is not something the president should talk about like if my governor was like hey we got a bunch of beef i'd believe i'm moving that is like that's bad sign like that is beneath the office of a mayor of a city over like 50,000 like that that that is such pre-electricity shit when the guy in charge is like hey everyone good news we're not going to run out of food for another four weeks
Starting point is 00:20:08 I mean, this is kind of the kind of shit that they would complain about like a former Soviet satellite. You know what I'm saying? Getting like produce and meat that was actually really bad and no one was eating and everyone was very underfed and malnourished. You know, I don't you feel like we all, okay, apologies. I mean, not a point. It was that post we all remember about who the fuck is that guy, the guy in the red beret? Uh, obviously what? No.
Starting point is 00:20:35 No. I was thinking. I was thinking to be the exact same person. Well, that was pretty broad, I admit. But the post I'm thinking of, the one where it's like, oh,
Starting point is 00:20:46 we're producing tomato paste in this country finally. That one, you know what I'm going to. Ibrahim Torore. Yeah, yes, yes,
Starting point is 00:20:54 yes, yes, that one. We have to, everyone made fun of that fucking post and everyone made fun of the post
Starting point is 00:21:00 where it's like the Russian guys, this is more recent. He's like, oh, they're saying are Russian countries and Chambles.
Starting point is 00:21:06 They're building four objects. on my window right now. We all have to apologize to both those guys as Americans because this is like worse than both of those. Like at least Russia's building four objects and at least they're making their own tomato paste. Yeah, I'm looking. I see the same objects I've always seen.
Starting point is 00:21:26 I just feel like we've talked about this on the show before, but everything now, I mean, for a long time, quite a long time. Everything has been meant to kill you. But sort of like the deregulations, whether it comes to like, you know, food or health care or what you can put inside your own body specifically. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:42 I like what RFK has done to complicate the idea of, like, you know, human corporeality and, you know, diets. Like, we've talked about it before, but he might have, like, body dysmorphia, but, like, he thinks he's an actual animal. You know what I mean? Yeah, like a raccoon. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. He's complicated our whole preconceived, all of our preconceived. all of our preconceived notions about like what it is to be human and what human diet is. It's kind of, it's kind of disgusting, but kind of fun.
Starting point is 00:22:14 It's kind of fun. They're going to just make it easier for you to buy gay meat, you know what I'm saying? But not like gay meat, gay meat. Like it'll be like, I don't know, man, some animal that no one is ever eaten before. Dude, his ringtone went off and it was a quack. Like, you know what I'm saying? Like, he has some fixation on animals and like he's got to be in, involved in this meat scheme somehow.
Starting point is 00:22:39 Like I'm very fascinated to know where the meat came. The meat scheme. I like that. I, yeah, he does, he goes through life kind of like he has, you know,
Starting point is 00:22:49 like how dogs have those microbes in their mouth that like clean poop. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. That's how he's kind of moving through through, through this life. I figure this is like just the worst beef ever produced in Argentina.
Starting point is 00:23:04 Like you instantly get colon cancer when you, 100%. But, like, Aaron, to your point, like, in terms of the, like, the fact that, like, it's like, I don't know, a year of Robert F. Kennedy on health and human services,
Starting point is 00:23:16 and it seems like we are just straight back to, like, the Upton Sinclair is the jungle, you know? You talk about, you talk about making game meat more available. I'm imagining, you know, another couple years of this,
Starting point is 00:23:29 they're going to be offering gamer meat, and it'll be sort of like a slowly green situation. It'll be the niggas who died in the war who signed up in GTA's thing. They're going to ship the bodies back into their refrigerated caskets. Like that Denzel
Starting point is 00:23:45 Washington movie is not heroin. It's like just humans and it's human meat. I was just going to bring out, yeah, the Frank Lucas thing. Yeah. Just literally just what's inside the casket. I think, okay, I think you will sort of grade human meat by the type of game
Starting point is 00:24:01 they played. The worst type of meat to eat is like a guy who plays Madden every year. Pretty mad. Like fat to muscle, Rachel, that's like the only game he plays. Or the GTA guys,
Starting point is 00:24:13 because they were in the army, they're getting underfed. The best, like, Kobe beef would be, um, League of Legends players. That's all,
Starting point is 00:24:23 that's all they fucking do is play league. Yeah, strategy gamers. I feel that. That's all they do is. I don't know, even what type of game league is. I have tried to watch it on,
Starting point is 00:24:33 I don't fucking get it. I don't, I maybe I'm too stupid brother I don't understand that either it's crazy it looks like fucking uh, Naruto candy crush but people people have like bloodlines have ended because all the sons play league it's a people it lose their lives that game it's probably taking more lives than slot machines that or uh yeah like how hearts of iron or those the games I'm thinking of the strategy games paradox. Those are all, that is all Kobe B for like top grade.
Starting point is 00:25:10 gelatinous almost like the consistency of maybe ox tail or something like that. You know what I mean? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. No, it melts in your mouth. Falling off the bone. Falling off the bone. Dripping, brother. But Aaron, to a point you made alluded to earlier, like I think like the sum total of like RFK Jr's tenure in charge of America's food supply, this in conjunction with like hundreds of thousands of people being kicked off
Starting point is 00:25:36 snap benefits and like, you know, no fewer than like 200 news stories in the last couple weeks about a new food product that has like glass or diarrhea of molecules in it. I mean, like, this is not just like an accident of like incompetence, which surely some of it is there. But like I truly believe that this is like a calculated strategy to make as many
Starting point is 00:25:59 people as like sick and dying as possible. And just make food, make food the issue of something as basic as food like completely unstable you know like like like they're not something you can rely on anymore and I'm like you know carry that on down the line to like you know housing and education like just like the staples of like you know the things you need to live like I think it's a conscious strategy by putting this fucking leather faced moron in charge of like it is macro politics that you know me and Terrence have a family friend that told us a story about growing up with Bobby Kennedy and Martha's Vineyard.
Starting point is 00:26:36 And he said that when they were kids, it was like him and Bobby Kennedy and like the like town doctor's kid that would all the time run around on the docks and play together and stuff. So that RFK shot the doctor's kid in the ass with a whale harpoon. Again. Iron island. And like the kid had to have his whole pelvis reconstructed and shit. Oh my God. Damn. It's always sort of been this way. It sounds.
Starting point is 00:27:06 Well, you know, Tom, to be, to be fair, though, this is probably before RFK Jr. got into heroin and it calmed him down. When he was more sober, man. The heroin actually chilled him out. Yeah, that's what he said. I don't, dude, there are, you probably know some people who should get back into heroin.
Starting point is 00:27:24 There's just like half of people who quit heroin, honestly. I want to see, I want to see his like works kit. Like, it's probably like the instruments. on dead ringers, like the It may seem like a trifling. And it is. It is.
Starting point is 00:27:42 Like who gives this shit ultimately? But I always think about how during Trump one, they banned fucking like jewel. They made jewel totally fucking illegal, basically. All the good flavors. You can't buy that shit anymore, can you? No, yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:55 No, yeah. And it, because they didn't know what the fuck they were doing. It got replaced by like something worse, which is disposable. which is like I don't think it's good that high schoolers
Starting point is 00:28:05 for smoking jewels but it's better than these disposable to just create this new environmental hazard and have like 70,000 times more nicotine in them but I always
Starting point is 00:28:17 like that is I used to think this used to be like an exclusively Democrat thing that you would get all the annoying EU style like nanny state stuff but none of the regulation
Starting point is 00:28:27 or safety net but now it's like both both parties are into that now Now because, you know, our president, he's one of those probably the fastest growing demographics in America. Guys who like really rolled the dice and like made a kid with their 62 year old come. The old come. And like it's all. You talk about flipping a coin with the gods when you make a kid.
Starting point is 00:28:54 Like Carolyn Levitt's husband. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And our country is run by people who. have kids made with 62 year old cum. And so there's any
Starting point is 00:29:05 moral crisis, if you have a kid made with cum that old, he is going to fall into it. It doesn't that. They like vaping, whatever. So you're always going to get laws made against like this thing that only like the bottom point 1% dumbest kids are doing. Because of their defective shitty children made from old com. While they're obliterating whatever threadbare regulation and safety net day. So
Starting point is 00:29:31 You have all the shittiness of living, like all the annoyingness of living in the EU. But it's not like, oh, at least like our dairy is good, you know. Right. They were called like just blueberries. Just like just not from a particular for they. They're just like to watch out for those. They don't tell you why. Reasonable risk of death.
Starting point is 00:29:50 Like it's really not good. Bro, it's going to start being disclaimers where you know a cigarettes. They have the surgeons, general surgeons warning. But it's going to be like that. all food. They die consuming this just so you know, but we're still going to sell it to you. It needs to be like that shit in other countries
Starting point is 00:30:09 with like the, that's got like the grotesque pictures on the cigarette packs and stuff. Yeah, yeah, like they do in Australia. Yeah. I was just going to say, like if you've ever bought cigarettes in Canada, which what the fuck kind of pack are you people using over?
Starting point is 00:30:25 I have a lot of complaints about there that we're going to straighten out one of these days. But in Canada, they'll just have a picture of like a gross tongue on your cigarettes. And it's like, okay, well, I'm not marrying whoever tongue that is. Brother, brother, as a cigarette smoker bed, I think I went to my sister's wedding in Ghana. And when I was coming back by myself, I stopped over in Amsterdam just at the airport. And I was like, man, I'm going to pack a cigarettes. And they had like a whole smoking room, which you should never have.
Starting point is 00:30:58 You can smoke in the Amsterdam airport and these little like... You can, man. I felt like I was dying. It was, I would think so, but I felt like I was dying in there. But at the same time, I was like, fucking, I'm going to do it anyway, you know? Take advantage. I mean, smoking indoors in an airport? Dude, it seemed like a cool idea.
Starting point is 00:31:14 That's top holiday. Until I bought the pack of cigarettes and I saw the gross gums and tongues and like I felt kind of bad. I mean, I smoked two cigarettes in that shit. But I felt kind of bad even buying it. You know what I mean? I was like, this is, this might be effective. The gross out photos on like European and Canadian cigarette packs, it never works on me because I'm like, well, my tongue doesn't look like that.
Starting point is 00:31:35 Yeah, that's true. How much could we just do like an artist's rendering of like oral cancers? You know, we don't need the common sense reform. They are more free than us in Europe. That's like we used to during like Reagan, you know, we could at least be like, oh, well, I can't, you know, I can't. you know, I, I can still like drunk drive here and then Reagan got rid of that. And it just slowly and slowly like the average Belgian, like a fucking Belgian is more free than us. We suck.
Starting point is 00:32:08 But what? I want to see what pictures they're going to put on the blueberries. Like what's, what afflictions do you get from eating the blueberries? Something they can turn of blue. I don't know. It's like sad. Like the Adoria's from Star Trek. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:32:23 It's libertarians that turn blue. Yo, have y'all ever seen the picture of that one guy who is some rare skin condition? I don't know if that has to do with his blood vessels, but he literally looks blue, man. Are we talking about the blue fugits of eastern Kentucky? Yes, yes. Yo, they're from Kentucky, that family. Exactly. Well, Aaron, you're spreading some pernicious misinformation there.
Starting point is 00:32:47 I know a couple of them are blue, but they're fine people, I have to say. My apologies to the blue white people out there, my bad. You know, they don't look meaningfully different than like those, like, rich kings that used to like just like drink colloidal silver and shit. You know what I mean? Because it was going to make them live forever. Yeah. Isn't that most of the blue Americans are like crazy libertarians who drink colloidal silver, right? Like that's, most of the blue guys I've seen are that is this family, they just have like a genetic abnormality that makes them all blue?
Starting point is 00:33:21 Yes. Yes. Yes. Okay. Let's a blue family Kentucky. I was literally I was, I was just typing that in. It's the fugits. F-G-A-T-E. This is the first sentence of the Wikipedia.
Starting point is 00:33:35 The Fugates, commonly known as the blue Fugates or the blue people of Kentucky. They get straight to the fucking point. Okay, no, they didn't. Yeah, this is all genetic shit. They're immediately talking about something called methamoglobinemia. Gene. They look like And Dorians from Star Trek.
Starting point is 00:33:56 This is insane, son. All right. This is real. Is it sort of a Kentucky wildcat blue? Or is it difficult to them to go to the basketball games? No, it's kind of a blueberry blue. It's not, yeah, it's not white blue. It's like a sky blue.
Starting point is 00:34:12 It's kind of pretty, actually. That's nice. Okay. Sorry if this is sort of like a creepy, like 19th century type question. Have they ever? I presume because this is like in the hills of Kentucky, like even though they're blue, like there are enough people there who's like, oh, miscegenation's disgusting. Like, okay, like what would happen is what I'm saying. Like if you, a blue white guy and a black woman who isn't blue.
Starting point is 00:34:42 And then I'm like, hold up from this town. What would happen? Like, what do they? What is her kid? I'd be like, hold up. You're not for fuck me because you blue. Hold up. I don't know what they have that policy.
Starting point is 00:34:57 I apologize if they are incredibly progressive. I feel really bad. This will be just like my Brian Jock's thing, where I like to pretend that red walls anti-Semitic, even though I know it's not. I'll feel really bad. So if that's happened, let me know. I mean, if anything,
Starting point is 00:35:14 they might have been the most progressive people in the area at the time because they were blue. You know what I mean? Good point. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Vote blue no matter.
Starting point is 00:35:24 Vote blue no matter of the hue. That's why it's called Act Blue. They're like, act like these people. This example, the fugit's upset. Yeah. Yeah. I see before. Crown and anchor me.
Starting point is 00:35:50 Oh, let me sing. One more thing on how the Iran war is going. today Treasury Secretary Scott Besnett announced what he's calling an economic D-Day against Iran An economic That'll do the claim that's never been sachen before I mean the famous thing about D-Day
Starting point is 00:36:09 is that like it was like hundreds of thousands of people in Vayner country but they're like Oh, we're not going to do that We're going to do the money version of that But also what I like about it is that they're announcing it You know? Like I feel like I'm Eisenhower was just like And you know just so everyone knows
Starting point is 00:36:23 On June 6 in the morning That's what Eisenhower did. He was like, I have 50,000 on me. Come to Normandy. I'll throw my life away. You'll throw your life away. Let's die today. To announce this, he wrote an op-ed for the Financial Times, and his whole pitch was like, now other nations will be tempted to trade with Iran. But, but. we should remember the 17th century French philosopher Blaise Pascal. He invoked Pascal's wager. So like he's saying that like basically
Starting point is 00:37:04 doing doing business with Iran. And like by the way, that includes the countries of Russia and China. So we'll see how the economic deed works out against them. But he's saying like that's the equivalent
Starting point is 00:37:17 of like just betting like it's probably nothing. Who cares? America's a dying country anyway. Their president is stupid. But then like you go to hell for eternity. So he's saying that like, acquiescing the U.S.
Starting point is 00:37:27 sanctions policy is like both holds the promise of both divine punishment and eternal reward. Seems like, seems like he's over promising here. I mean, doing that at the same time as like Canada, the vassal nation of all vassal nations
Starting point is 00:37:43 for America is we're like, we're going to fuck you up if you guys don't stop speaking French. Like for no reason. I'm sure tons of people are like, oh my God, I can't wait to get a closer economic. relationship with America. They don't seem fucking mercurial and insane at all.
Starting point is 00:38:00 I'll do anything to get closer to these guys. No, that's a great point because he's like threatening any country that like that outside the fold that wants to like, you know, turn Iranian petroleum exports into like money that they can use to like, I don't know, oppress their own people or threaten their West with terrorism or, you know, do Hezbollah stuff. And it's just like, oh, okay. Well, like that's what it's like outside the fold. And then let's look at how America is treating one of its closest economic and political allies in the world historically.
Starting point is 00:38:31 Canada, we're like literally starting a trade war with them right now. Trump is saying that starting January 1st, we're going to have 50% tariffs on all Canadian products. Like, dude, I don't like. I mean, that would put all of them. That would put American auto manufacturers out of business in like an hour. And 100%. Yeah. We would be begging that company, that Chinese company with the fucking car.
Starting point is 00:38:54 to do business here. And they'd be like, no, you can't afford it. You don't deserve it. Yeah. There are no, there's a lot of people more docile than the Canadians. And like I could, I have a lot of complaints about how they do things over there. I would change a lot of stuff. There's no place that could benefit from central planning quite like Alberta.
Starting point is 00:39:13 I have a lot of fucking complaints about how they do it as change in Alberta. But like, if you go over there and you're not like, you're, you're just. reasonably polite. You can be like, you're, you're like, oh, I need like 20,000 slaves to build a mountain base in Bamp. And they'll be like, okay. You have to fuck up so bad for them to be like, we love Jay Carney, even though he sucks. Because he's, he's like a nationalist lead. Like, he's like our de Gaulle. Like, you have to fuck up so bad to like raise the iron. And they, like, we make one of them a lot for their stupid shit. They jumped out at World War 2. They are pretty scary. They could probably beat us
Starting point is 00:39:58 right now. Speaking of D-Day, they were on, was it Juno, Juno Beach? Was it a kidding? Yeah. Landing there. Like, Canada, like, the last time America and Canada were at war with each other, America and Canada weren't even countries. Yeah. French Indian War.
Starting point is 00:40:13 Like, America's always had our designs on Canada, but it's just like, like, you couldn't pick a nicer country that we've had more peaceful relations with. And Donald Trump was talking about them, like, Like it's fucking Iran. Did he say some shit on truth social about how Canada is so badly was to be part of the United States, you know. But the farmers in Canada have been screw or Canada has been screwing over American farmers.
Starting point is 00:40:37 It has been screwing American farmers, these great patriots for years. And they've just been stealing from the United States. They're helping us for years and it stops now. They're helping us by ridding us of the scourge of the American planter. class. Like, how are they not a progressive fucking force? I, yeah, I, I, like, the, the demands they made where it's like,
Starting point is 00:41:03 you have to stop speaking French, basically. Like, what, how do you, the only way to stand Donald Trump's good side is to be like shine ball. And you just, anytime he makes a demand, you're like, yeah, I'll look into it. That's a nut. She's the only one who's figured it out. She's a fucking genius.
Starting point is 00:41:20 Or to just constantly beat the fuck out. out of him for probably 10 years. Like Iran's probably going to have to kick our fucking ass for 10 years. They are probably like the next, they're going to be doing enlistment bonuses for like whatever the thing that comes after Skyrim is going to be.
Starting point is 00:41:38 Like that's how long it's going to go on. I mean, but don't we have like 15 missiles left to go to war with Iran? Like it's just like insanely like I mentioned it's on the show before. Like for a country that is very much like, you know, war mongering and that
Starting point is 00:41:53 prides itself, right, on this military prowess, you know? The fact that I didn't think that I know that missiles are made materially. I know that they cost money, but I could never imagine that we would start running out of munitions, you know? Like, that's fucking insane. Well, and you're committed to 100% lethality, Aaron, you know, that's the price of trade. Well, it's like, like, Russia hasn't run out of missiles because they keep a huge surplus because they don't run their defense industry like it has to like turn a profit, you know? Like, is there? They have millions of artillery shells to use. And for instance, a brutal war of attrition that lasts years and years and years.
Starting point is 00:42:31 But like, Aaron, to the point, like, we have run out of missiles, but that's, and that's why we're doing economic D-Day instead of actual D-Day. I was just about to say that. Exactly. I was just about to say that. Exactly. We still have plenty of sanctions. We can, we can fire off. I mean, it's pretty, it's fucking nuts.
Starting point is 00:42:47 Because, like, obviously sanctions are horrible. And they, they, they, you know, even if you take. take like the most Samantha Powers approach, they're not really hurting the people that you say are like the greatest perpetrators of evils in your worldview. They're not, it just the average guy can't get dialysis. That's what sanctions are.
Starting point is 00:43:09 And they have been horrible for every country who's inflicted them on, but to Iran's credit, it has made them like forced to be more independent and to work more, like have more of a working relationship with China and to some extent Russia and as we see
Starting point is 00:43:29 like as we've seen they're able to produce at an insane capacity especially given how how fucking cut off and sanctioned they are. We like so one of the big things with us making missiles now is that
Starting point is 00:43:44 we are like if we keep doing this posturing shit with China we're just cut off from rare earth minerals and a bunch of are like, oh, they found like a trillion dollars of rare earth minerals and fucking, uh, the Dakotas. And it's like how many centuries do you, how many centuries do you think it would take America to like mine the equipment to mine that? And once we find out that we won't make a profit for like a century. Yeah, that project's getting finished. Yeah, yeah, exactly.
Starting point is 00:44:15 There's no return on investment in like a time span that they could accept or investors would accept. You know what I'm saying? Well, you know, actually, this, this is a, Peric segues, the next thing I want to talk about, which is like, obviously untold rewards of instant profit. I'm talking about data centers. It's become sort of like, in a very short amount of time, this has gone from being something that like every politician talks about to be like, I'm all in on data centers and AI. We've got to get some data centers in our state. It's a money printer. But now like for both Democrat and Republican electorates, like data centers are fucking poisonous right now.
Starting point is 00:44:52 everybody fucking hates them. And like, politicians in both parties, if it were coming in this upcoming election, are having to back away from data centers, which I find fascinating. Because, you know, like, and the thing I'm interested about, the thing I want to talk about is, like,
Starting point is 00:45:07 the people whose job it is to promote them, like, now have to, like, they just, like, assumed, they, I think that there was, like, so much hubris and just assuming that they could say and do whatever they want because, you know, people are fucking stupid. hogs and they'll clap like seals for anything.
Starting point is 00:45:24 Oh, don't you love all these AI generated videos? Don't you love switch mob crashing into the World Trade Center? Like, let's go. But like now that the issue has become, you know, toxic because of, you know, environmental concerns, concerns about, you know, what it's going to do to the job
Starting point is 00:45:40 market and just the generally satanic evil of like all the companies that own all this bullshit. And I'm interested in like how sort of stung all these people feel by like what they regard is like Two, two arguments being made here. That, like, the massive turn, like, how massively unpopular data centers have gotten, like, for both liberals and conservatives in America, is the result of what's that?
Starting point is 00:46:02 It's our favorite buzzword, a sci-op. They're saying it's all a Chinese sci-op to, like, stop America from building data centers because, like, they're going to beat us in AI. I look this out. China has something like five or 600 data centers in China. The United States has over 5,000. So, like, China's got some. some catching up to do in this thing. But like I want to speak like one guy in particular
Starting point is 00:46:28 who's one of my favorite sort of I don't know Bellwether is for this kind of thinking. This is you know one of these globe accounts I think you know him. His name is Jeremiah Johnson. Oh yeah. He's got the Robert Redford Avi which is you know really presumptuous because people know what he looks like. I have never seen a sciop more effective
Starting point is 00:46:47 than the data center stuff. Absolutely wild how bipartisan the data center Hater, the data center hate is for such an incredibly benign industry. The same folks who'd be wildly enthusiastic over a new steel mill are irate at the idea of a data center. And someone replies to him, steel is useful. And he replies, data centers are tremendously useful in hundreds of very obvious ways. Do you like online banking, DoorDash, email, WhatsApp, YouTube, checking medical records
Starting point is 00:47:18 online, video calls with grandma. congrats, you're a data center user. Okay. All these that are shudder than they were 10 years ago. Jeremiah, I hate all of those things. So I'm on the person who's, this is I'm the wrong person for the target for this audience. But if you do love video calls with grandma and online banking and DoorDash and shit like that, all of those things were widely available and worked fine like 10 or 15 years ago.
Starting point is 00:47:45 100%. And also too, bro, like the thing is that like, yes, data centers like have always existed at least at the point of like the internet and like, you know, these online services like that. Yeah. But what we understand now is that these centers are being used to steal your information, collected in one centralized place,
Starting point is 00:48:02 kind of filter it out, being used to spy on you for all the nefarious reasons, right, that all these libertarian guys at the beginning of the internet where they thought it would be some kind of, you know, digital symposium, right? And be very democratic. The modern agora. Right. No, dude, it's very understandable now to many people that all this shit is being,
Starting point is 00:48:20 used for nefarious purposes. And as you mentioned, Will, they poison environments, they poison communities, they take away people's jobs. I mean, the fact that you think this is a PSOP is just like, well, I mean, doesn't this guy fucking also work, like, or pedal shit for some AI company?
Starting point is 00:48:36 Like, I'm not, yeah. I mean, that's not a PSIOP. That's just being paid. Because you have to be, because you're doing the political and policy preferences that align with the people who own all the data centers. But like,
Starting point is 00:48:50 this thing about like it's a sci-op. It's been the most massively successful sci-op ever. It's just like, well, you could do your own sci-op to promote this bullshit. And in fact, you have been doing it, but the problem is the people you've assigned this you know, the job of promoting this
Starting point is 00:49:05 to the public are people like Sam Altman and Elon Musk who like, you know, are like look, talk and act like alleged pedophiles. And, you know, like, and like, and when they're, when they're advocating, they're like, you know, a pedophile generation
Starting point is 00:49:19 simulator, they're really clear it's like, not just get rid of jobs, but like enslave humanity to the data bricks. Dog, I'm thinking about like the fact that all these people,
Starting point is 00:49:31 I'm especially thinking about, which I'm pretty sure he's invested in AI stuff. And I'm just thinking about Brian Johnson specifically. Like I'm generally, I'm thinking about all these futurists, right?
Starting point is 00:49:41 These AI kind of futurists, right? These guys who say they want to use technology to propel humanity into the future for the benefit of all, but they're all so fucking unlikable. I'm thinking of Brian Johnson especially, you know, the fucking longevity guy, because he posted
Starting point is 00:49:57 a picture of him, and I saw you respond to this well, he got a dog, a Belgian Malinois, and like, the picture of the dog was cute. You know what I'm saying? I'm like, but bro, it was coming from the most odious, one of the most odious human beings I can think of. All their ambassadors are freaks, pedophiles, psychos.
Starting point is 00:50:15 You can't even find like a charismatic figure. Tell me about in Belgium. or? Well, yeah, the average belt. Yeah, no. We're like, there's a reason to use Belgium as an example of like a country that shouldn't have freedom. But I have to disagree with you a little bit.
Starting point is 00:50:33 I, like, I am pro. Brian Johnson's like, he's my favorite one of these guys because he's, I don't like Sam Altman, he just does this fucking. It's like, dude,
Starting point is 00:50:45 you are like 43. Can you fucking start capitalizing some, some letters asshole like fucking yeah like that alone is enough yeah like that alone is so annoying but uh
Starting point is 00:51:00 Brian John like when Brian Johnson got a girlfriend and it was like for the second time in his life and he was like oh my God sunsets are awesome it was like that was kind of sweet I like I like like like he's not he's I'm sure
Starting point is 00:51:17 there's like bad stuff about it I'm positive. But his, for the most part, he is like, he's just doing this shit to himself. He's like, oh, I'm getting like, I'm making contact lenses made out of my son's pee. My son's foreskin. Yeah, that's true. Yeah. Yeah. I'm, I use one of those breathe right strips made out of my son's smegma. And that's like he lives extra 47 seconds. It's like he's not making me do anything, you know. No, no. And he also realizes, you know what? You're right. Felix, actually, I'll take that back, because he also does realize that he is almost like a Greek tragic comedy figure, like, syphilis getting his, like, you know, liver picked out by a bunch of, like, birds.
Starting point is 00:51:58 Sifilis. Scyphilis. Scyphil, Promethe. First of all, so, God. Jesus. No, keep that and that's great. But, yeah. But he does have syphilis.
Starting point is 00:52:10 He has something. He's, like, some auto. I mean, that's crazy thing. Yeah, he's, he's reckoning with his own mortality right now and feels betrayed by all the, you know. You know, he's, what does he got like Crohn's or something there? It's a life hacky stuff. Yeah, it's like some sort of GI autoimmune thing. Do you think that's a prank the Talmadge, his son Talmage?
Starting point is 00:52:31 He's like, oh, I'm going to secretly like get Crohn's. And when we do our monthly stool transplant, he's in for like a big surprise. I'm saying the data center people would have a much easier go of it. if Brian Johnson was like the front phasing AI guy. He's like, I'm on shrooms. I'm drinking piss. I'm dancing around shirtless. My wife's pussy's in the 99th percentile.
Starting point is 00:52:57 Yeah, if the United States is promised 99 percentile pussy for all Americans, then yeah, build one tomorrow. The thing is, it doesn't do anything. What it does do is like invisible. And of what we do know that it does is like, it's pretty much all bad. And the people who are running it is like, Peter T. and Alex Karp. And like, that is the problem for the Jeremiah Johnson's of the world. It's like, to do your own sciop to convince people that this is a totally benign industry. You need, you need people other than Peter Thiel to be promoted it. They're so unpopular that Greg Abbott is not,
Starting point is 00:53:34 like, that race that he's in is neck and neck. I mean, people in rural Texas, I think that's the thing. Like, the Republicans have kind of been victims of their own success on this because they want to put these data centers in rural areas. And it just isn't meshing with the, you know, 30, 40 year long Republican rule of rural areas. It's just finally kind of collapsing under its contradictions. In a way, I mean, I don't know. We'll see. My family is in like rural, West Texas, southeast, New Mexico, and they all hate data centers. And they talk about how they're there. Jake Rhodes from Pendeo time was telling us that like everyone he knows back home in Texas, like, you know, all the like real conservative type people. They all despise data centers.
Starting point is 00:54:15 fucking hate it. And they're totally against him. They hate it. So I don't know. I mean, it's just one of those things where I, they're kind of, it's also very astounding to me or very strange to me that what's that guy's that Crowley who beat Francesca Hong in Wisconsin? David Crowley. Yeah. That any Democrat would be in favor of it. I mean, it's just kind of mind-blowing because it's such an easy layup, I guess. Yeah, I mean, talk about 90, 10 issue, probably 991 and the only people who are in favor are like people who are literally paid by it.
Starting point is 00:54:52 If you, you run not just against data centers, but like, hey, you remember how shitty Windows 10 was and how they made something even shittier after spending like a trillion dollars on it in Windows 11? That's the whatever they're going to do with data centers. That's what's going to happen to like all the like, oh, do you like online banking? Yeah, I can't wait. until I have to answer 87 verification emails. I have to run through all the data.
Starting point is 00:55:22 To sign into my online banking. Yeah. I can't wait for that. That would be fucking easier than the shit I have to go through now. Yeah. Yeah. Like all these, all these things are so much shittier.
Starting point is 00:55:33 Just the average computer thing runs so much shittier. If you ran on a platform of like anti-data centers and also like, we are going to like, we're going to nationalize you or threaten to nationalize you until you unfurred. fuck this up and then we'll see. Like that is such a winning issue. But I just like the other, Will you pointed this out, the use
Starting point is 00:55:55 of the term siop. Like that's how bad things are. The one thing, the one thing that you could give centrist was like they're the only people in the American body politic who did not call every like out of the sci off.
Starting point is 00:56:12 Yeah. You know, like, okay. They're the people who didn't believe in stupid conspiracies there is. Yeah, the one good thing you guys had. And now it's like, oh, like I, oh, I saw a post by a guy. That's a sciop. Like, it's like, everyone is as stupid. Everyone is as stupid as the people who are like, um, the, I saw a guy doing parol politics on Drusky once.
Starting point is 00:56:34 I'll never forget this. I'll never forget. I'll never forget this is the dumbest thing I've ever fucking seen. He goes, he goes, he goes, Drewski's parents. both worked for like the airline. Isn't that suspicious? And it's like, oh, a black middle class, uh,
Starting point is 00:56:52 black middle class people who work at American Airlines. That's never happened. That's never happened. No, you got him, dude. Like an airline? What the fuck are you talking about? And everyone's like that now. Everyone's a fucking idiot now.
Starting point is 00:57:09 Like, you know, when you got, when you got like Josh Shapiro has come out against data sent theories and like he's, he's the great hope of these guys, you know? And like, but they need an explanation for like, why abundance didn't fucking catch fire. And now why like DSA is electing all these politicians. So like their preferred policy and like the people associated with them are all about as popular as, you know, civilist. To borrow. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:57:32 Exactly. But also too. I was going to say it's like like an obsession with like, you know, yeah, parapolitics, conspiracy theory, sci ops. This is like largely the province of people like who's political affiliates. or like preferred vision of the world has like almost no power or purchase in like the American government or electorate. So like I'm not saying right or wrong,
Starting point is 00:57:53 you invent like, you know, complicated explanations for why most people don't feel the way you do about things. If you're a centrist Democrat or Republican who's just like, oh yeah, like we love business and economic growth and, you know, making things easier on homeowners
Starting point is 00:58:09 and lowering property taxes and shit like that, the fact that these people now have to say that like, oh, it's a sciop that's turned everyone against data centers. It's a, it's all, it's propaganda from Qatar has convinced everyone that Israel is evil. It's, oh, it's, it's, it's, it's, uh, it's movies and TV shows that have made people hate the private health insurance industry. It's just like the explanatory power of these people's preferred vision of the world, like abundance and shit like that is just crapped out. And so like now they, they're coming back right where I am. the old conspiracy theory
Starting point is 00:58:43 for why everyone doesn't believe what you do. Well, they have to have, it's weird. It's like anything that is broadly popular they dislike because I guess for them, they've kind of got this technocrat thing or this elitist thing where... I don't trust it. If it live too many voters like it, it's got to be bad.
Starting point is 00:59:01 Exactly. Which is the hilarious pitch of abundance because like, okay, so in your idea, like if this caught on at a mass level, which you still like it. You know what I'm saying? Like, I guess, like, good ideas can only come from top down in their... Exactly. The thing they were doing before abundance, which was popularism,
Starting point is 00:59:21 which is, like, just to take, like, cherry-picked polls on issues. Like, as we've said a billion times, the least reliable polls you can do in America are asking people about issues. Yeah. Because, yeah, how well thought out do you think, like, do you think people know what you're talking about when you're like, what do you think about earned income tax credit? The whole idea of popularism was like, oh, let's do the policies that poll well,
Starting point is 00:59:45 except for about this one country. That one, that's ironclad, but everything else. We just got to go by whatever polls well. And I guess if they figured out that anything that pulls well, that's a sci-op. So they have to go in the opposite direction. Right. Also, too, man, I do think that, especially when it comes to data centers or any of this like, you know, emerging technologies that have,
Starting point is 01:00:09 not been regulated, it kind of harkens back to, you know, maybe the general population's feeling of futurelessness, you know, the fact that you don't have any control over what is happening to you now and what will happen to, you know, yourself and your family in the future. And these decisions are being made without, I mean, without your input at all. But you're being told that this is for the benefit of you or your community, everyone in this grand kind of explanation. But again, it's being peddled by the worst people alive. The thing is, is that, like, in a rural area, if for the longest time, if, you know, you saw your community declining and someone came in with a big idea, if it was like a coal mine
Starting point is 01:00:51 or a prison or whatever, like, ostensibly, they would be jobs attached to that. Even though those diminishing returns with all those things, there were still some level of jobs, but, like, with an AI data center, that's kind of the funniest pitch I've seen them try to make, that there's going to be a lot of jobs out of this. Like being a jam. Yeah, there is. Yeah, exactly. It's like popping up occasionally.
Starting point is 01:01:14 There's nothing to do there. Yeah. Yeah. So it's like, that's the point that like these kind of, you know, like small town economic boosters or developmentalists or whatever.
Starting point is 01:01:24 Like that pitch is way harder for them to make than it is even for a prison or something. It is a more honest sell to say that like taxpayer-funded sports arenas will create jobs. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. buy a lot more. These data centers because like,
Starting point is 01:01:39 at least there's concessions to be sold during the fucking basketball season or whatever. These data centers are just, once you turn them on, they just home and cause cancer
Starting point is 01:01:47 and drive up electricity rates. And Felix, your point about like, popularism and just like, where this leaves all these people, I think like the most perfect like crystalline manifestation, and I actually have to credit him
Starting point is 01:01:57 for his honesty here of sort of conventional contrarian wisdom is Matt Eglacius. And he said on the issue of data centers. He said this the other week. The idea that we need absolute deference to mass opinion on technical questions of utility regulation, but no compromise with the electorate on who plays on the girls volleyball team is a really perverse way of thinking about politics. And what I love about that is that like for the for the popularists, the bundocrats, you know, the technocrats, the Democratic Party centrist. This is about as close to honesty as they will ever get because really what he's saying here is that like on issues of economic regulation,
Starting point is 01:02:36 of infrastructure, of poverty and prosperity, and indeed also foreign policy, like war, because, you know, like Israel, leave that out of the whole equation of like what's electoral poison to touch. But what they genuinely believe is that like economic policy and foreign policy is not for the dumb dumps. That's not for voters. And then everyone should just keep their snouts firmly in the trough of culture war bullshit. Like, can boys play on a girls volleyball team?
Starting point is 01:03:03 Right. Which is not even an issue at all because this doesn't even happen. national fucking sports. Right. It describes like five people in the entire country. Yeah. As if people even actually give a fuck, you know? I mean, I know, I'm though there are people who do care, but I mean, these are the people
Starting point is 01:03:22 who are pioneering the culture war shit, you know, who buy into it. I don't think most people do give a shit. I really don't. Well, because it's like, because it's just not an issue. Like, there are no trans women playing in the WMBA. Exactly. There's not a really great like college prospect who's trans who wants to get into. the WMBA draft. It's just fucking
Starting point is 01:03:38 morons like Enos Cantor who's like I'm a woman now. He was like storming the court and stuff. Like this is not a fucking issue. But like Matt Eglacius is like that is the terrain of political debate in this country, a political possibility is a tug pushing a poll on culture war issues.
Starting point is 01:03:55 But like ideally they want a centrally planned economy but that economy is run by Peter Thiel. Talk about like diminishing returns. The big like argument these people used to beat you over the fucking head with was like, oh, you need, like, you need us to do this sort of like centrist economic, the centrist developmental economics with a bunch of shit you don't like,
Starting point is 01:04:17 because we will, that is the only way to ensure like progress on social issues. Like, don't you want to protect all these people? And now they're like, well, obviously we're going to, um, just poison every river in America so we can make Windows 12 that every time, every time you, look at your monitor, it sends you an article for old people about when you, like the proper way to throw away your Christmas tree.
Starting point is 01:04:47 And it just sends you, your monthly electric bill is like $3,000. But in return for that, you get us making concessions on this. We're going to pat, we're going to have Democratic governor sign laws that are like, fuck this
Starting point is 01:05:04 one high school student in particular. so what do we get i i just the other thing like going back to what aaron was saying kind of like the idea that like there was a grand sciop that made people against this when the biggest promoters of this like again like peter keel of elks carb they are all like on video podcasts that have come out in the past like two months being like yeah i don't know that i would be against the price if you came back. All these guys do podcasts every month where they talk like Agent
Starting point is 01:05:44 Smith and they're like I don't know that I wouldn't wipe out humanity. Wasn't that boss do that when Peter 2? He asked him about like the human future and trajectory and he was just like does humanity have
Starting point is 01:06:00 deserved to exist in the future? He was like he was sweating dog they all they're all like they're all just like you're on gray joy but less coming if you're if uran was making his pitch and he's like yeah i just want like as many uh people to die as possible so he can be reborn as a god and he just rips off his eye patch and shows you his evil black eye of malice and you're like well like why wouldn't you let this guy build a big evil in your neighborhood look it's the sacrifice obelisk but you know If you don't want the sacrifice obelisk in your town,
Starting point is 01:06:38 I hope you're happy with vape shops and fucking, you know, homelessness, all right? The thing I've been economic growth in this country. The thing I've seen them zero in on as the thing that's a sciop is water usage. And specifically like the environmental impacts of the data centers, like that's the thing that they really zero in on being a sciop that like these things aren't as environmentally as harmful as they say they are. And the thing I have to say about that is that like, look, I'm from an oil. literally in New Mexico, and I lived in eastern Kentucky, like, West Virginia and these places where there was coal mining and oil.
Starting point is 01:07:12 I saw entire communities destroy their fucking rivers and streams and mountains and groundwater for oil and coal. So they're clearly not entirely against destroying the environment as long as there's some sort of like pay off. Yeah, you know what I'm saying? Remuneration. Remuneration, right. So they have very, like I said correctly, you know, you can quibble on whether that was
Starting point is 01:07:35 correct the right bargain for them to make on coal and oil and whatnot. But like those are bad, you know, decisions, circumstances that you're faced with that you have to make that decision in the first place. But clearly rural communities have like looked at it and been like, all right, look, we're not even getting anything out of the fucking that is like out of a data shit or so. The idea that there's a sigh up around the ecological part of it is just really funny to me. Because like, Terrence, for the people in those communities, like when they hear about like the stunning benefits of AI, it's just fucking dickheads in San Francisco talking about how like clawed all day long.
Starting point is 01:08:07 It's just like, these people don't have jobs for like, AI is my use to slack a million times easier. It's like, go fuck yourself. Like, like I said,
Starting point is 01:08:14 at least coal, like, there's, coal generates electricity. It doesn't just use it. Yeah. This is what this shit is for. And employs people.
Starting point is 01:08:23 Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Aaron, I don't know about you, but I would be fine with data centers in America, all 5,000 of them, if they were more or less
Starting point is 01:08:31 just museums dedicated to the genius of actor Brent Spiner. 100% Dude, that's all that we need, man. You have like an animatronic, like, data. Maybe Brett Spiner would come and visit every single one. That would be a lot more humane. I was thinking about the question of AI because I was, you know, of course, as I do most days,
Starting point is 01:08:54 watching Star Trek the next generation. And I think it's interesting that that was a show created in the 80s and early 90s that like essentially where AI as promised now like does exist, they can just like ask computer anything. Computer can, you know, replicate any object or food. The HalaDec can literally create any reality. They're talking to the computer all the time. It like does the things that AI is sort of promised to do. But at the same time, like, every, all the members of the enterprise, like, dedicate their actual lives to the pursuit of like the fine arts of the 20th century. Bro. Rinker plays jazz. Like they're playing violins and like doing shakes here or like Tom
Starting point is 01:09:29 Paris working on cars and stuff. Like, dude, I was watching them. I'm watching on a, I'm going to rewatch of the original series. And I can't remember the title of the episode, but there's the episode where they go to the planet in which both sort of warring factions of this planet use AI computers to designate, like battle. Oh, yeah, like the one person who has to die?
Starting point is 01:09:52 Yes. Yeah, yeah, yeah. What the enterprise goes there, they're like, okay, you're in this war, but like you're not actually like fighting physically. Like, why are you beholden to like this computer that gets to choose? Like, I mean, it's like, I don't know, like it's, it's like, um, digital chess or something like that. And depending on the outcome of the AI, um, certain people are just killed automatically. And like, you know, one common theme throughout the show and I don't want to get too into it. One common theme throughout the show in this episode and many other episodes is that like, you know, anytime that you take away human agency, anytime that you take away like just like what is it truly to be a human being, right? That's self-fulfillment. You become something we said on the show. You become the, you become the, you become the, you become the. You
Starting point is 01:10:34 undead. We live in an undead society where niggas are walking around like zombies beholding to something that doesn't even exist that on the one hand, these AI people tell you has some sort of like nascent consciousness, but also will benefit humanity. So like which is it, you know, and what purposes are being used for? I think it's interesting that like the AI, the artificial intelligence that exists on Star Trek, be it like data or the ship's computer, like they're all using those to do things that we thought computers would be helpful with. Right, right. But not like create art.
Starting point is 01:11:07 You know, like, data learns to be more human by performing Shakespeare, by doing the Henry V monologue about how a commander feels about his soldiers. But, all right, before we get, we've already been derailed by Game of Thrones. If I keep talking Star Trek that Aaron was going to be here for another hour. Okay, the last news issue that I wanted to bring up is the further, the further evolution of the Natalie Harp saga.
Starting point is 01:11:34 Because like in the space of about a week, I've gone from not knowing who this woman is to like being fascinated by her. Who is this lady? Natalie Harp. She is essentially like the Carrie Gary, the character Gary from Veep, she's Trump's version of me. I would say she's maybe like Kathy Bates in misery.
Starting point is 01:11:54 Perhaps. Yeah, yeah. Good kid. Returning again to the topic of aging come. but um and you know like what's very funny is that the republicans have tried to make this into a thing about how like democrats are disrespecting this young woman and like she's like in her 30s she's 35 she's 35 years old like I mean it's just an adult woman at one point you stop you fix it you fix young to it because you make it seem like oh like this poor young woman
Starting point is 01:12:22 they're being so cruel to her but like obviously they're like an you know intoning that she's having some sort of affair with Donald Trump why like you know why is milania only show up when she's paid to. A lot of people are leaking right now because I think a lot of people in Trump's inner circle are jealous of how close this woman is to him or like think she's nuts, which he is.
Starting point is 01:12:43 But like, so they want to suck his dick too? I don't get it, bro. That's the thing. Like, obviously the easy thing, the easy joke to make here is that like, yeah, this is another younger blonde woman in Trump's orbit who goes everywhere with him and like, you know, sleeps in this fucking bathroom to be close to him and shit. Everyone is like,
Starting point is 01:12:58 you know, obviously like, given his, you know, track record and sort of criminal record of the way he treats women. People are, you know, inferring a kind of a sexual relationship here. However, I don't think that's what's going on. And I don't think that's why Republicans are so testy about this right now. I think it's not so much that she's like a younger lover or like he's carrying on an affair in the White House. I think that they're testy about attention being drawn to this because he is essentially a home care nurse for him who is who is wiping and taking him nonstop. But the other thing, I'll mention is that like making it be like, oh, it's also mean that this is just a young professional
Starting point is 01:13:35 woman and she works hard at her job and like the Democrats are abusing her for it. There is nothing about this woman's behavior that is professional. She is cracked. And I think she has this kind of like religious devotion to Donald Trump because as Felix learned to me the other week, he let her try some experimental fucking bone cancer drug that she credits with saving her life. But I would just like to close out the show by reading some of the personal notes and letters that Natalie Harp has sent to Donald Trump. This is published in The Daily Beast. But before you
Starting point is 01:14:09 read these, I want everyone to keep in mind, like does this sound like a woman who would lie about having bone cancer? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Every day of her life since she learned how to speak. Like those weren't her first words. I am. Oh, I have bone cancer and only whoever is president can cure me. I want to say, like, Tom and I read the letters on the show yesterday,
Starting point is 01:14:35 and it's interesting, and, you know, we'll get to it. But, like, I think that what I like about the letters is that they just exist, period. In a world where everyone relies on Chad GBT and AI, like, I like the fact that she's actually sitting down. This is like Josephine and Napoleon's correspondence, right? You know what I mean? Like, I really like that part of it. Are they handwritten letters? Because that'd be even better.
Starting point is 01:14:59 No, no, they're typed out, but she signed the bottom. Yeah. Okay. I have really liked, just before you get it, the defenses of her. You pointed out that like, yeah, they're going by like Phil Leotardo age stuff. I mean, if Billy at 47 was just a kid, she's like a toddler. She's a toddler who fucking survived bone cancer. But I saw some great ones that this one I've been.
Starting point is 01:15:27 laughing at. Oh, you must feel really good in making fun of a medical cancer survivor. It's like Donald Trump, remember when Donald Trump literally made fun of that guy with like cerebral palsy? Yeah. It wasn't medical cerebral palsy.
Starting point is 01:15:46 And it's like once again, if Trump is your guy, like you've got to get over to this shit where you like, you pretend to act a gas that people like make intimations about his poor character or his treatment of women, Like the way to do it now is just to say Our based American war president
Starting point is 01:16:02 Our war chieftain He must have many wives The tribal leader He must have a harem of women To state his bestial lusts So that he can focus On bringing the Persian Empire to its knees In anything, brother
Starting point is 01:16:18 He is the personification of America With his virality Yeah, exactly And like you know what He's a sexy international playboy He's got to ditch that pig from the Balkans who like, you know, trying to make her own movies. Can't even be better to show up.
Starting point is 01:16:34 You know, yeah. They so badly, someone wanted this out. You know how like there was none of this embarrassment over Hope Hicks? Because Hopex is like, A, one of the most beautiful women to ever live. Love her.
Starting point is 01:16:49 B. Perfect. C. It's just, it's not as this is, I made jokes about her sperm jacking, but it's like that would be less weird than whatever is going on here.
Starting point is 01:17:01 Absolutely. I don't know. She's wiping his booty. It is. Yeah, exactly. It is not either thing. She's putting the wet wipes in a fucking plastic zip lock bag. It carries around her purse.
Starting point is 01:17:13 Neither. It's neither. It's not optimal to like have sex with Donald Trump. I don't think hope. Even if she did, it's like, okay, what's worse? Having sex. with like a gross old guy
Starting point is 01:17:27 which is one of like the proudest traditions of this country or is it putting Donald Trump's culnostomy bag in a camel back and walking around with him all the weird stuff that fucking Natalie Hart is doing.
Starting point is 01:17:42 Everywhere you go, niggas be like yo something smells dog what is that? Yeah. He's fucking y'all saw that you all saw that one picture but I forgot what he was that
Starting point is 01:17:55 video. I forgot what he was, but some guys sitting next to him started turning up his nose and wrinkling his brow. It's like, yeah, that nigga definitely shit on himself. No, and like, and that's why I think they're so sensitive about this because you feel like that's exactly right. Nobody made these same jokes about Hope Hicks. Yeah. And that's
Starting point is 01:18:13 because Hope Hicks was like, her personality is legible for that situation. She's like a fiercely ambitious person who like, you know, wants to be close to the president. This woman, you're, I do not believe there is any sexual relationship between her and Donald Trump because Felix, you're a half thousand percent right. What's going on here is a million times more depraved and weird.
Starting point is 01:18:34 She making sure that shit don't get at his balls when he poops his diapers and some shit. I'm saying. It's so, it's so, like, that is the weirdest thing you can do is to be like this fame, like Donald Trump at least like advertises as letcherous and horny because he wants people, you know, he wants to. That's what sexy playboys do act like.
Starting point is 01:18:58 Yeah, no, he's one of the only guys to like commit sex crimes so he could like talk to people in the locker room about it. He didn't even want to do it. So he can impress Billy Bush. Exactly.
Starting point is 01:19:12 He's one of the only, only guys to ever do that. But like the reality, like even the most eluded guy can't be like, oh, I'm sorry, you don't have, you're not cool enough to have a fucking smoking hot appropriately aged woman
Starting point is 01:19:28 giving you a sponge bath every two hours like it's so like I she probably grooms him like a cat goes to a kitten yeah like old people like in hospice you get like yeast under the folds and stuff
Starting point is 01:19:46 she's collect she's collecting she's getting a souring bread out of it yeah she's making Messiah bread God. So this is Natalie Harp's personal letter to the president. Dear Mr. President, I'm sorry. I thought I was the only one left behind last night and had no idea Margot's car was also pulled over and sent back to the airport. Since I was alone in the van outside customs without my passport, I panicked and should have just called Secret Service instead of you. I am also sorry if I was an embarrassment walking the course in Scotland. The first day I was told there no carts and people walked, which is why I walk. The second day I was specifically asked by,
Starting point is 01:20:28 I forget who his name was, but one of the main people who worked there, if I could continue walking and tell the other girls who would head out there to do the same thing to spare the course any more cards. If there is anything else I have done to cause you trouble, please forgive me. I know that some people have said I haven't been texting them back, and there have been some international cell issues. John was having technical issues on the plane too, so he asked me to help them out. I want things to always be right between us. I also know, I've been distracted all week for getting to eat throughout the day and even for getting to sleep and only catching a few hours in time. Wait, can I just interject?
Starting point is 01:21:02 Imagine Donald Trump reminding somebody to eat. Like, you can't. I'm much of welfare enough to remind you to eat food. I haven't been myself dwelling on the past and the pain of losing my dad. And I started letting the remarks of people who haven't bothered me before get to me. Not because I care about what others think, but because I see myself being lowered. in your eyes and good opinion. That is the fear, you see,
Starting point is 01:21:27 because I never want to bring you anything but joy. I'm sorry I lost my focus. You are all that matters to me. I don't ever want to let you down. Thank you for being my guardian and protector in this life. That's what I want to use this card for. And when you saw me at the cash register and once again did what you didn't have to do
Starting point is 01:21:45 and gifted me with the mementos of this trip of a lifetime, a coming of age, I will return a better person. I have to sign off now as the cars are leaving. See you soon with all my heart Natalie Wait, you said mementos or mentos Mementos Mementos He was like yo you bitch your breath states
Starting point is 01:22:04 You need to I can totally imagine of doing that Like he gets her like tic tacks And gives it to her in front of everyone As a joke about her how her breath smells like She's like kind of just nods his head Mr. President my soul was touched And you gave me the gift
Starting point is 01:22:17 You refers to this The Trip of a Lifetime A Coming of Age you're 35 And coming of age And also when she talks about him Bringing you joy Like I never want to bring you anything but joy
Starting point is 01:22:34 That's all I want to bring you joy She's engaged She has like a fiance Like what are you fucking like What the fuck did you like parents Or like people you actually like are friends within your life Feel about this shit You're talking about this way about your boss
Starting point is 01:22:48 Also when you started out with there Mr. President The only thing I could think of is Maryland Monroe singing happy birthday to JFK in that voice. At least he was getting top. He was getting fucking sulked off. He was a sloppy topy at least.
Starting point is 01:23:03 He was getting one minute of like spased out infatamine sex and then like, you know, he had her killed. That's what great American presidents do. This guy just has this like fucking stand, this fucking stand with him all the time that I think he likes embarrassing her. I think he likes humiliating her. 100%.
Starting point is 01:23:22 100%. Yeah, no, that is her utility. To the extent this relationship is sexual, that is it, just to the extent that Donald Trump enjoys humiliating people. And like, like, there's no one he has more contempt for than anyone who like trusts and likes him. Right.
Starting point is 01:23:39 This is, this is like Sir Dantos to him. And he's, she has it so, she, she, she has it so, they're probably, there's probably guy whose entire job it is, is to set up.
Starting point is 01:23:52 obstacles for Natalie. Like increasingly like embarrassing like like the no golf part. Yeah. Like increasingly like embarrassing home alone type tracks. Like she got a guy who's
Starting point is 01:24:07 all over the floor. Exactly. That is it got that guy's making $200,000 a year just to come up with stuff like that. And she's so she's so fucking loopy. She can't put two and two together where she's like, Oh, I'm so sorry if I embarrassed you when that rainbow wig fell on my head and it blew on it. And she's like he isn't engineering this shit.
Starting point is 01:24:35 She mentioned scars on her hand in the next letter. So maybe it's like the doorknob on Home Alone where like, you know, Sears. Sorry, Mr. President. I didn't see the invisible string when I stepped through the doorway and the bucket of wet cement fell over my head. Mr. President, I must plead ignorance. I wasn't aware that the Bedminster golf course had large areas of the grass that were, in fact, a rug that concealed in a pit beneath this. Mr. President, when I walked through the tunnel, I thought it was a tunnel. I didn't know it was paint at all.
Starting point is 01:25:12 If I could peeve, it's falling on her head and shit. Here's the next mash note to the president. Dear Mr. President Now this is the note I wanted to write But the apology needed to come first I have learned so much about myself On this trip I always knew Like what trip is she talking to you?
Starting point is 01:25:32 Like him going to play golf in Scotland The trip to the bathroom, nigga That's what she talked about I felt like I I feel like I came of age It's why he capitalizes trip She says this trip And trip is capitalizing
Starting point is 01:25:50 But by the way, is there anyone fucking worse than someone who like 75% of their messages to you are apologizing for someone something? Is that there's no one fucking worse on the plant. Like I would rather have someone who's constantly assaulting me and just pretends it didn't happen than someone who's just like kind of annoying. He's like, oh, I'm so sorry. You know, I do feel like maybe I don't want to even humanize the guy, but he's a human being. He's a person who's going to die someday. And I do feel like maybe he contends with his mortality, perhaps, in some way. And the only way that he can kind of like, you know, get one over on that is by berating someone
Starting point is 01:26:30 again who loves him and adores him. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. Like I'm a god king to her. I can't die, you know, if I exist in this person's mind. Well, I mean, I think like when he does go, she should get like sealed in a giant gold sarcophagus and like 100%. I always, I always knew coming.
Starting point is 01:26:49 home to my roots would be enlightening. There's a trip to Africa. For the first time in, I don't know how long. You forced me to unplug. We could be out on the chorus with no machines and even forget what time it was. I didn't have to be human printer. I could take time to enjoy good conversation and still get all my work done at the end of the day. In fact, I even had time to take long morning.
Starting point is 01:27:19 and evening walks to enjoy each sunrise and sunset. Can you imagine, first of all, Donald Trump has never read these letters, but can you imagine like how quickly his eyes would glaze over listening to this daffy broad talk about watching sunrises and sunsets? Also, you know, goddamn well, her hair, smell like shit, bro, from wiping it, where she taking these long, beautiful walks. Even like this toady, like the self-aggrandizement in this where it's like, oh, I'm usually such a hard worker.
Starting point is 01:27:46 It was nice to just relax. And it's like, your job is. printing out the the I almost said Ben Clarkson I think the other the Ben who labels everything in his cartoon Ben Garrison is to print out like 12 year old Ben Garrison
Starting point is 01:28:02 cartoons that are like so they're about like the 2016 Republican primary they're like making fun of how how much better you are than John Kasick no no no one no one is like well that that that's one nutty broad
Starting point is 01:28:17 but like no one she works so hard. You know, she's so essential to the fucking operation. I love this here. She says, in fact, I even had time to take long morning and evening walks to enjoy each sunrise and sunset and then in parentheses, though I did
Starting point is 01:28:33 forget to eat and sleep. Oh my God. So hold him. He didn't remind her that one time. Yeah, yeah. Like, if Donald Trump is reminding anyone, it's like reminding women not to eat. He's like the opposite
Starting point is 01:28:47 of those wellness. like actually you should be less a Donald Trump app for women for Trump where it's like you're looking fat you're sleeping too much there was those like fat guy bullies in high school that just called
Starting point is 01:29:02 everybody else fat that's a great great move Trump Trump operates on sort of like this is Garfield came up with this this is one of Garfield's many observations that if you hang
Starting point is 01:29:18 with a bunch of other fat cats that people won't think you as Garfield are so fat. I love this as she says, with so much thinking time, I confess it did have a slightly negative effect at times. Yeah, no shit. You started to have thoughts when you weren't being a human printer and you're like, is my life a state of constant squalor and degradation to an obese You know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know you're dealing with a great mind when they're like, oh my God, I finally did. I had to get into an isolation tank and it had to be 70,000 feet on your sea level. And they had to fucking drop my phone into a pneumatic press. But I'm finally able to think.
Starting point is 01:30:07 Not the thing that most people are able to just do normally. For the first time of my life, I realize I had thoughts. I realize that I realize that I am in control of when I eat and sleep that's why she got bone cancer it's like not sleeping I love the idea
Starting point is 01:30:29 of spontaneously getting bone cancer from out of eating because with so much thinking time I confess it did have a slightly negative effect at times that I know you picked up on but the end results I believe will be worth it
Starting point is 01:30:40 I had no idea how rapidly I was approaching burnout out and starting to envy those whose only job seems to be to talk to you and look pretty. Like, I want this guy. He says, I want that job. So many times, I'm just trying to stay afloat with all that's coming in for you. I look like a hunchback who didn't have time to freshen up. At least you know what I should look like. Plus, I miss the days when you used to call during my talk show days. And we talk about everything and nothing. I want to get back to that synergy. We shouldn't have to talk about work all the time. I've always found.
Starting point is 01:31:13 felt like an in-betweener, somewhere between staff and those you enjoy talking to on the plane or at dinner, because that's who I used to be to you when I was a talk show host, as much as I hated that actual job. I wish I could hear every, I wish I could hear every conversation because that's when you're having a good time, getting away from it all, at least for a few moments. But after going through all this self-analysis, my conclusion, I need to reunite my past self with my current into a better version of who will make you proud. And please, when I fail, will you tell me you have the absolute right to cuss me out if need be when I deserve it? Because no one knows or cares about me more. Thank you for always being there for me. I'll never forget when you made that promise to me
Starting point is 01:31:55 after losing my dad. And I know how happy he is right now that I did get to go to Scotland and Ireland as he always wanted for me. To modify a classic, I could not have parted with you to anyone less worthy. And I will add, it is I who is unworthy. Always. Natalie. P.S. P.S. P.S. P.S. My hands look worse in Scotland in Ireland because the cold turns
Starting point is 01:32:17 the old scars purple. Kill on the road. Have to wipe it. I like to see. The letter she talks about like how I like she, in the first letter she talks about like how broken up she was over the loss of her father. Then she talks about like how proud her father would be.
Starting point is 01:32:34 I got to say after reading these level, these letters, we need to dig up her father. and put his skeleton in dad jail. He's like, how's the father? Do you have to be, if your 35 year old daughter
Starting point is 01:32:47 after you're dead, says Donald Trump is the most important person in the world to her. Did you, well, okay, so I don't, this is, I normally would be like dad jail.
Starting point is 01:33:02 Like I'd be right on board. But we know the brother. He turned out pretty cool. Like he's, he's like a Sandinista or something. He's pretty cool. He's pretty fucking cool. And he went on TV and he's like, yeah,
Starting point is 01:33:16 my sister's pretty fucking wacky. And she just loves breasts. So is it possible that either the mom made a blunder or, you know, you just get a dud sometimes. This is sort of like,
Starting point is 01:33:36 I listen to her. Like she does have the making, she does have the, tells of like a dud child. Oh, you know how I'm supposed to look. What? Yeah. What the fuck?
Starting point is 01:33:48 Yeah, without those fucked up scars on your hands, lady. What's going on? My hope for is that she comes into her power and realizes her worth and that, uh, you know, we can't rule it out. She, DJT may go out by her own hand. She's got all the raw materials to make that happen. She's got the right temperament. Well, yeah, that's the thing.
Starting point is 01:34:09 You said, we'll very, very. impressionable. Yeah, you said we should seal her up with him. I think what we should do is send him with her to like a cabin in Manitoba or something. Like that's what she wants.
Starting point is 01:34:22 Like she just wants to be with just him. Like just the two of them. Like you said, Kathy Bates and Misery. Yes. Yeah. This is, yeah, like last episode of Vice Principal shit. She wants to go out with him.
Starting point is 01:34:35 Like this, I, I that would be so poetic right if like Trump one was marked by these guys who like they got their job by running account called like Donald Trump you know most based moment like here's some angles where his he actually looks like it's a pretty big bulge like hiring those guys and firing them within a week this is you are completely right like this is someone who has a temperament and this is someone who has a temperament and this. the weakness of mind, not just to kill him, but like to kill him because like there's a new guy. Like not even anyone who's like someone who lies. Someone who's like,
Starting point is 01:35:20 oh, I used to be Jake from State Farm. And they were putting a fucking woke it up and replaced me with a black guy. And she's like, I don't know why, but I feel like I'm like coming of age around you too. And then that guy obviously will be like, well okay prove it and then oh no there was who the perfectly healthy 80 year old man died
Starting point is 01:35:44 during a sponge bath who could have predicted this brother that's she'll probably get off too because it's like it's too and the truth is too embarrassing well she had bone cancer too oh she gave him her bone cancer by bathing him dog the first person that doesn't leave him her red and replies her emails you know she's immediately going to switch allegiance you know I'm saying. Yeah. Someone out there, someone is someone like, oh my God, this is, I'm sorry to do it again. Who is the real Howland Reed? It's Jeff Teedrick. And Jeff Teedric, the green, the green dreamer Jeff Teedrick could easily carry a sway over this woman. And, uh, you know, just go from there. I don't want to get in trouble, but just go from there.
Starting point is 01:36:34 sorry, I'm just looking at the Daily Beast article about this. She also mentions coming home to my roots. The beast has been unable to establish if she has Scottish or Irish ancestor. I was like JD Vance. He's lying about that. Both 95% German. Yeah, yeah, exactly. I know it's not one.
Starting point is 01:36:57 I know what Felix thinks about this. Felix thinks that this is the purest expression that she is 100% Scottish and Irish. I think entirely Scottish. This is entirely, is this not the most Scottish thing you've ever heard? Like, oh, I'm like a fucking brave,
Starting point is 01:37:14 independent warrior and your slave. What is that, what is that novel? What is that short story by James Joyce? Evelyn, she imagines herself like Evelyn waiting on the dock
Starting point is 01:37:24 for Trump to return home. When did the Celts become like the Cherokee Indians where everybody swears up It used to be Pocahontas was everybody's grandmother. Thomas, all of you know, I'm 16th, Anglo-Celtic heritage. No, I don't think, I don't think she's Irish at all. An Irish person would write better letters. Yeah, that's true.
Starting point is 01:37:53 Yeah, she would delvitus of Joyce. Yeah, like James Joyce would be writing about Donald Trump's parts. Like his four-skinned. You know what I'm saying? By the way, Felix, that's so in purgatory of James Joyce, like, fucks Donald Trump, and Trump's like, oh, my God, like, all the bad things I did. It was just like, I didn't know this is what I wanted. I was to like have this story to author smell my poop.
Starting point is 01:38:20 I wouldn't have done all that stuff if I had known. Oh, no, no. Felix, while I was reading the letter, Spencer says that the letter, Spencer just comments ghetto Homer letter. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. This is, man, you know, Ghetto Homer stopped posting around the time that, like, her career started. Good point. Roughly sync up. Not exactly, but like, you could definitely make the argument there. Sorry, I'm just looking at Ghetto Homer now. The last week was planning things in your head, hoping one day it happens.
Starting point is 01:39:02 She's definitely getting out his text. Your phone feels empty. Yeah, no, you can this is confirmed. This is until someone just proves it. Yeah. All right. Well, we saw that mystery. I think it's so poetic.
Starting point is 01:39:20 Docs Ghetto Homer, who's now a close personal aid of President Donald Jim. Yeah. Who do you? Okay, I have always wondered that, like, if it's not pre us figuring out it is Natalie Hart. Who do you think would be like, who would you want ghetto homer to be? Because I've always thought of this.
Starting point is 01:39:38 Like who, what would make you the happiest for ghetto homer's true identity? Because it's someone, it's someone famous for something else. That I know. Mine was, I always like the idea that it was pinching.
Starting point is 01:39:55 Sounds really. Pitchin? Yeah. Yeah. I'm going to say, Prince William. All right. Well, let's leave it there for today.
