There are three ways Islam will conquer the West.
Through immigration, through the wombs of our women,
and by using our nation's freedoms against us.
Are you paying attention?
Anuuktu.
Listen carefully.
The great Satan America will fall.
The villain is being the shit out of bond,
the boat's out of control.
Remember this?
He's about to kill Bond.
He's about to kill Bond and he's like,
and he falls to the ground dead.
Not killed by Bond.
The actual villain, killed by the Bond girl.
And she goes,
I'm glad I did that.
And Sean Conrad goes,
You're glad.
All right.
Unlike the kill singers in Runhide fight.
You know,
I got to see.
say this movie, which is, you know, I think it's safe to say not a good movie, but I will say this.
For its many other flaws, this movie does use squibs. Yeah. You know what? I will say there's,
there's got to be somebody else. But I don't associate any single individual with one jihad to the
degree I do Matt Christman and Squibbs. Every time I see a movie, no matter what, if I see somebody hit by a squid, I'm like,
Oh, Matt.
Oh, yeah.
Well, this is sort of a monkey's paw situation for Matt,
who demands that all action movies must use real squibs.
Yes.
So he's got his wish with this one.
And let's just kick it off in case you haven't.
Okay, it's September 28th, everybody.
Hello, this is your chop for the Monday.
But in case you haven't figured it out already,
we are talking about the latest release from Daily Wire Studios,
run, hide, fight, infidels.
And joining Felix and I to discuss this great movie is our old pal,
Josh Olson, podcaster, screenwriter,
you might remember him from such films
as a history of violence, an Oscar-nominated screenplay.
But Josh, I just wanted to jump in, like, based on that,
a lot of people don't know this.
But you actually, a history of violence,
the original screenplay,
was warning the West about a Muslim caliphate
and sort of the history of Islam
and how it's going to take over America
through immigration and the wombs of our women.
But apparently, David Fraudenberg,
didn't like that,
and he made it into a movie about
a diner owner who's like really good at eating pussy.
I don't know. I haven't seen the movie, but apparently the original screenplay was,
it was quite different, Josh.
I feel seen at the last.
Yeah, yeah.
It's true.
It's true.
Kronenberg was, we were going to be, I believe, the first Hollywood film to feature
Muslims as the violence crazed villains.
And we got this close and then they hired that pussy Kronenberg.
we can't do this
well so the film is
run hide fight
and the very first thing
I want to say about this movie
is that like I was getting ready
to come on the show
before I watched the movie I'm like okay
we're talking about infidels on Monday by Josh
and I'm like the new Daily Wire movie
infidels starring semi-disgraced actor
Jonathan Majors
pause hold up record scratch
how did this happen
the thing the number one most important thing
for anyone who hasn't seen the movie Infidels
to know about the movie Infidels
is that out of, it's about two-hour runtime,
two hours, three minutes.
Jonathan Majors is on screen
for a total of about five minutes of this movie.
Yeah, pretty much, yeah.
So if you're, for,
for the Majors' heads out there
who was hoping that this would be, you know,
a stepping stone to a career resurrection,
he is curiously absent from 90% of this movie.
And I was just wondering, like,
There was reports that he broke his back or was injured during a stunt on this movie.
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah.
So the big controversy about this movie during the making of was that there was a stunt where Majors and one of the other people in this movie,
this is one of those movies where only one of the people who's in the movie has a Wikipedia link that turns blue on the Wikipedia page.
So one of the Wikipedia-lists, like, non-people who star in this movie with Jonathan Major.
They're doing a stunt where they fall like, you know, like seven or eight feet down.
And they're supposed to fall on one of those like, you know, prop glass things that breaks.
There's like a term for it.
I thought the window wasn't supposed to break.
I thought they were going to cut to a.
No, no, no.
Well, no, it was the opposite.
Oh, okay.
It was supposed to break.
I don't know.
I know that this isn't the name for it, but it's something like sugar glass.
Right.
I can't pause that.
Yeah, candy glass.
Okay, okay.
That was that far off.
But it was supposed to be like candy glass.
And they just, it was just like a, like, it was like a fucking bulletproof window.
And they just like smack their backs directly on it.
And, uh, yeah, I, I guess that's the reason why Jonathan Majors disappears for like 80% of the fucking movie.
Yeah.
It's like, he's like, he's like, it is awesome if you just, if you like don't take that part into account.
He literally like, they try to play it off like he gets sort of injured.
But this one, wait, wait, wait, I came on the show specifically because I know what this is going to do to my career, career to be associated with you, you, you commies.
The, because I know Felix is the guy, Felix.
I'm a constitutional conservative.
He's shot full on in the chest.
Yeah.
And it's huge.
It's not like a little blood like he's wearing out.
And the day he falls out of a window.
Yeah, he's like, he's been shot, like, right under the, the stir.
And it's like, and then he comes back 25 minutes later and he's like, hey, what's happening?
He's like, nobody ever addresses it.
Yeah, no, it is the most like video game logic.
Like, either he, like, he, like, just ran into a health pack or it's like a modern video game.
And he has like regenerating health.
It's really great.
Like, if you get, dude, if you get shot in the stomach, it's like like your intestines are falling out.
you are like
have you ever
you ever done this where you're unloading
like a 12 pack of soda and you like
drop one on the floor
and it's just like there's like a little hole
from blood to impact and you just fucking spray
that's what it's yeah that's what
intestines are like when you shoot them but it was shit
oh god
so like in real life like in real life
this guy just gets fucking what like
and the terrorists they have AKs
so you get shot with like a 7662
that would create a massive
whole. He would just be leaking,
but he shows up good as
new, wearing the exact
same business hoodie
that he was wearing, too.
That really pissed me off.
That really fucking, like,
I just, the last shot in a major
movie I saw before this
was magazine dreams. And it is,
I've talked about it on the show before.
It is one of the best movies I've seen
the last few years. It's so
fucking good.
Jonathan Majors plays
like this autistic bodybuilder
guy who has like
the shittiest life ever
he got in this movie
he's kind of like doing his best
but there's just really like
not a lot for him
he has like six lines of dialogue
I have an ultimate theory
because I didn't get the sense
that there were like
late in the game rewrites on this thing
I actually think
because everybody's making a lot of
a heat about the fact that
you know Majors is so disgrace
he had to
take this job, but I think that's true.
But even then,
I don't think they could afford him for more than three days.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
No, no, no, you're 100, no, you're 100% right.
Like, even with, I was thinking about citizen vigilante compared to this.
Oh, God.
Yeah. And like, citizen vigilante is terrible, but it's, I like it better because it's
at least more like, like, the idea of having your hero.
like 10 minutes after he's introduced,
go to fuck a prostitute and be like,
by the way, your bathroom's disgusting.
They're a moldy for the landlord.
Yeah, that's like the hero.
That's like at least more interesting
than anything I saw in this piece of shit.
This is like, yeah.
And with even with that movie,
Army Hammer, obviously I would say he's more disgraced
than fucking Jonathan Majors.
They still have to wait like five years of him
working at like Hertz, rent,
a car before they could afford him.
So, like, they need, like, I don't, probably a decade more of Jonathan Major's disgrace
time to, like, actually put him in this movie.
The other, this is like the most screen time, uh, that a movie with a Wikipedia page,
uh, has given to its non-Wikipedia page actors.
Like, I always said, there is one more person who I would wager has their own page.
And, and if you blink, you miss.
sir. Do you know who the blonde woman is, the government official?
The FBI lady at the very end?
Yeah.
And who is that?
That's Christy Swanson.
What?
Yeah.
Really?
All right.
Let's go.
Yeah.
Well, I mean, it's just like the disappearance of majors in this movie.
I was, I was thinking it was because he was injured.
Maybe they couldn't afford him.
But I think they missed an opportunity to do like the Plan 9 from outer space thing.
Like when Bella Lagosie died.
They just had that guy just have a cape in front of his face for the rest.
They could have done that just like, hire any other black guy and just have him.
Ben Shapiro's dentist.
Or something.
Doing all the action stuff.
They could have been more of a character.
But the thing I want to get to,
and Josh, I want to ask you this.
Like we said, we did Citizen Vigilantee,
and now we're doing like, you know,
like the latest sort of right-wing wish fulfillment
scenario action movie.
But like you and I, like, we're fans of action movies.
And we're specifically fans of like the canon era of,
of like absurd right wing action movies
of an earlier era that we're all
certainly racist against Arabs and Muslims
and Zionist propaganda in their own right
but like we're still
genuinely fun and entertaining
like Delta Force where like Robert Forrester
is a Palestinian guy
and like I have a theory is like
why is this movie so like
so inert as an action movie
like why does it like there's just like there's
I mean I have a theory but like just like what do you think
separates a
a hack job like this Daily Water movie Infidels
and like the earlier era of like canon right wing action schlock
Yeah I think I think I think that Monachem and Yoram
didn't weren't even thinking about getting away with something
They were simply making movies that expressed their their view
Their their beliefs so that as egregious as that can be
There's no at no point are they going oh shit we need to we need to we
need to make sure people understand how evil Palestinians are.
You know,
it's just a fucking action movie.
Whereas, you know,
in this,
it's like the entire point of this film is to lecture us constantly,
is to throw in,
you know, these absurd talking points.
You know, the,
I mean, I mean, everybody's favorite, of course,
is, you know, we all, like, why are they're gay pro-Palestinian supporters?
They would throw you off a roof.
And the instant,
did you guys have this response?
The instant they climb up
out of the roof?
Yeah.
I'm like,
throw the gay guy off the roof.
That's what I mean, Josh.
Every character and every moment of dialogue
in this movie is just to like recite
some like online argument or talk in point.
Like there's just like,
it's to prosecute like a very specific beef.
You know what it is.
Gay people, trans people,
school administrators,
school administrators,
purple-haired protesters.
And like,
I'm like very specific.
Like kicking the gay
guy off the roof, which is like,
uh,
but like my other theory about like why as even like,
like I,
I want,
I want to enjoy evil right wing action movies.
I want to revel in them,
you know?
But the reason that like none of this movie lands is that like,
unlike the Golan Globus movies,
like Delta Force. Like you want
Chuck Norris and Lee Marvin to rescue the
people on the airplane, right?
Whereas in Daily Wire's infidels,
the reason that there is no real stakes
or drama to any of the action,
is that the movie and the people who made it absolutely want all of the terrible things that happened in this movie to happen to the people that happen.
That's the other thing.
Yeah.
Right, right, right.
There's like, there's like a humanism you could say to like even like Cobra.
Yep.
Like Cobra.
Cobra saves so many people.
It's just like law of averages.
Probably like 40 to 50% of them are libtarded.
Cobra probably.
Cobra probably saves a lot of people
who vote against Cobra's own interests.
Like even after he saves them.
People who voted to defund law enforcement.
I will say something.
People who are like if you're a cop,
you can't like you can't be partners
with your uncle who you're married to.
Like stuff like that.
Like really stupid liberal policies.
But like yeah,
these movies are just so,
they're so on message
in the worst possible way.
Yeah.
They don't, it reminds me of, you know how this thing that Zionists do now where they don't understand that when an organization like the BBC or the New York Times, when they report on actual things, they're doing that.
So it gives them more weight when they actually propagandize.
they think that anything but like just
saying 100% of the time like Israel is blameless
they've never killed a civilian and all the civilians
they've killed were terrorists that that is like anti-Israel blood liable
Yeah it's the same thing here anything that isn't on message is like
liberal propaganda and even if that means making your movie unwatchable
So be it it's like they could have um
They this movie could have gone so much further
Just as a piece of propaganda if
like yeah they had jonathan majors do all the shit instead of all like i'm sure these guys are
like heroes in the increasingly shrinking neocon sphere i'm sure that they there was like some
incident where they were at kenyon college and like told a guy in a kaffaya that they'd kick him
off a building in gaza for being they them but they just i have no i don't care about these
nobodies i wanted them all to die uh it just it
they could have taken all the money
they spent on the Penn Dragon cycle and been like
okay we'll make
Jonathan Majors is just going to do all the shit
in this movie so at least people will care
because Jonathan Majors is like
all other shit aside like a great actor
like I I think that's beyond debate
like that kid's a creepy stalker it's like it's
insane I don't
he's too I don't think he has the
I'm not endorsing stalking of
anybody but
I don't think he has the charisma or
foresight to even do that.
That's like, that's kind of like giving too much to his character.
I also think that point taking it, but to what Will said, what you're saying,
it also, what it really reminds me of now that you say it.
And I'll, I'll die on this hill.
Ricky Jervais used to be absolutely hilarious.
Oh, I've got to see 100%.
Have you guys seen any of his like late period standup?
Because his late period stand up is now literally 80% of it.
It's terrible. It's terrible.
It's terrible.
It's terrible. I was on Twitter and this fellow.
said to me, here's what I said to him.
That's what this movie felt
like. It's just the, yeah.
Yeah, you know, it's really more depressing
to me than Ricky Jervais's like comedy
now. It's like, when you go
to his Twitter or his Instagram,
half the posts are like,
it's like a black and white photo
of a dog and it's like the shittiest
like fake old English font with like,
if you don't like dogs, you're a cunt.
And it's like,
Like, okay, man, okay.
Like, what are we even, who's this even aimed at?
Because he's, this is not a novel observation at all.
But he is the exact sort of person that he was kind of parodying with David Brent.
For sure.
Yeah.
Now, and this movie is filled with that exact same type of sentiment.
As far as I can tell, the message of this movie is not that you should even be a conservative
college student because the one conservative
in the friend group is like kind of a dickhead
I was rooting for him to die the entire time
the closest we get to them
you know openly
saying what they think college students should do
is when the heroes of the movie are talking
about the Palestine protest before the
encampment literally brings in fucking
Shia ISIS
and they're like
yeah I mean we'll get to that
I'll get to the specifics of it yeah
but they're like
I don't even know what this protest is
about I thought we were with college to listen to Imagine Dwegglers and Twik whiskey.
Also that one character, the conservative character, anybody catch this?
He's like totally, it turns out he's lying about what he did in the military.
Yeah.
He's just, that was incredible stolen valor going on here.
It was like a touch of self-awareness there.
So much self-aware.
How about like your abortions and your climate change?
I mean, that's like, that was.
Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah.
I saw an interview.
These people bothers.
Ben Shapiro.
I will, like, Josh, I saw an interview with Ben Shapiro where you're talking to
Benny Johnson promoting this movie.
And he was like, unlike other, you know, unlike the hundreds of other Hollywood movies
that portrays Muslims and Arabs as ruthless cold-blooded murderers and terrorists,
he was like, unlike all these other Hollywood movies, this is the first movie you'll ever
see where the terrorists will say things that terrorists actually say.
And they sound just like me.
Well, that's what's so incredible is when that line about climate change, that is during a scene where he's telling, you know, Captain Army or whatever the fuck Jonathan Major's character is said in the name.
By the way, Jonathan Majors, he is entered.
I'm sorry to give away any spoilers here, but the twist kind of is that one of the protagonists, his dad was in Delta Force as Jonathan Major's character and say he doesn't talk to.
because his dad, like, died during Benghazi or some shit, and he holds it against Jonathan Majors.
But Jonathan Majors keeps, like, trying to groom him his entire life.
But Jonathan Majors has entered into this kid's phone as dad's former CEO.
I didn't know why.
That part just really made me laugh.
That part really fucking made me laugh.
I miss that.
But that, that thing of the terrorist saying what Americans believe, it's when he's, like, taunting Jonathan Majors.
And he's like, oh, you won't just shoot me in.
the head for no reason because the American way is to have like trials and your abortions and
climate change. And it's like, so from the point of view of ISIS, are they saying that
America has climate change and the caliphate doesn't or that they, that they, they have due
process because they believe in climate change? Like, it's so fucking confused. It's so fucking
confused. Like, these are supposed to be the smart conservatives. Obviously, that's all
bullshit, but they could, if they made this movie 10 years ago, they would at least try to
like formulate a case. Now it's just, they just fucking vomit it all out there. There isn't
even an attempt to create anything coherent. Well, yeah, and like, and I go back to my
original point here, which is like, to invest in the stakes of an action movie, you have to
like, believe, like, you know, believe in the stakes of like that this is a villain and he's
putting innocent people at risk. I'm like, your hero is going to try to save them. But like,
it falls apart because this movie is just
transparently nothing more than a wish-fulfillment fantasy by people like Ben Shapiro,
who like the, the Shia-Isis terrorists in this movie,
their goal is ostensibly to create a caliphate on one American college campus
and get them to release the head of ISIS.
All played by Israelis.
All played by Israelis.
Really?
Yeah.
Yeah.
No, yeah.
To the man.
every single Shia ISIS terrorists in this movie
is played by an Israeli
who thinks it should be illegal to speak Arabic
but had a grandfather named Abdullah
this is like this is like
this is the
no non-snuff film has
employed more Mizrahi actors
seriously
but like the point is like
for Ben Shapiro and like the
filmmaker Kyle Rankin who directed the
original Run Hyde Fight and wrote and directed this one. The bad guys in this movie are not the
terrorists. The bad guys are the gay, trans and whiny pro-Palestinian college students.
And that like this ISIS terrorist attack are not really like, they're not really the villains
that you're supposed to root against because they are in fact like a necessary evil.
Because like everything that they say about America and how and why it's evil and about these
college students and why they're evil and need to be enslaved by Islam is just,
one to one with like maybe one slight degree of variation
exactly what the producer is writer and director of this movie believes.
Yeah.
I think that's why they made them sheer.
Because they're like, oh shit, we agree with all these guys.
How do we make them evil?
Oh, uh, they're, they fucking crawl on the ground like snakes.
They're refita.
Which actually, I have a question.
Here's a, this is, it just hit me.
Because, you know, the first film, uh, Cow Rankin, who by the
Anyways, everybody, he's the, he was the director on Project Greenlight.
Yeah, Project, he was the guy that won that man, Ben Affleck, Project Greenlight HBO show.
And he did, he did the Ballad of Shaker Heights.
The Battle of Shaker Heights.
Or the battle of whatever it is.
The, uh, but it just suddenly hit me because the first film was not done for Daily Wire.
They bought it.
Yeah.
It's not great.
But it's like, it's like, it's watchable.
Like, it's not a great.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I hardly to high school shooting, which is.
Yeah.
But like, the villains in that movie worked because, like, you're, like, you're,
like, oh, like, I don't want them to kill these kids. But like in this movie, you can't invest in
the action because you're like, I can't wait to see these villains slaughter these college students.
Here's my question. Do we know for sure? Like, I couldn't find anything on this guy's politics.
And it's kind of like, fuck it. I've done this way back in the day where you're like, you take some
horrible job and you try to like layer something in, you know, that that will. Did he knowingly
just take, watch 18 hours of Ben Shapiro rants and put them all into the
terrorists' speeches
hoping that Ben wouldn't notice.
I mean,
if this is like,
I mean,
I guess it's hard for me to believe
Kyle would do this as like an elaborate prank
on Ben Shapiro because like by making this
movie,
almost like Jonathan Major is like he is like
identifying the rest of his career with like
an act of utterly hateful propaganda.
That's also not a good movie by like in any
possible charitable explanation.
Whereas Uve-Bowl simply doesn't believe in anything and we'll continue.
Yeah, yeah, exactly.
So like I said, like the movie begins and it's Jonathan Majors in one of the,
one of the very generous moments that he gains to give us in this movie.
It opens and it's in Mogadishu in Somalia.
And him and the protagonist, the main character of the college kid who becomes a hero of the movie,
his father is like a Delta Force operator with majors and they're going after a high-value target.
and the dad, the friend, is like, why don't we just kill this goat fucker?
And Jonathan Majors is like, he's a high value target.
We need to just like, you know, arrest him rather than, would you, wouldn't you rather
him stand trial than just die in some foreign shithole?
And he's like, it'd be better if he just died there.
So like they, there's like a two man, by the way, it's a two man Delta Force team to take
out this or interdict this high value target.
They go in the house, the friend sees a child.
And because he sees the child, he hesitates.
and is killed by the terrorist.
And then Jonathan Majors arrest him.
And then it's like seven years later.
And we go to like, it's the college campus.
And it's being driven by these awful terrorist pro-Palestinian protesters.
And like the first 45 minutes or an hour of this movie is just like before anyone starts
getting killed is just like a recitation of like why these kids are annoying and title punks.
Well, you know, it has something occurred to me too the other day.
As I was, God help me, I just dove deep in all the discourse and.
may have been involved with a 15-minute cutout of the film that's floating around the internet.
But of all the things they do, I mean, they're violent.
Remember, they grabbed that one kid and don't let him out of the place when they lock in the library.
There's not a single instant.
Is this bizarre?
There's not a single instant where they're terrorizing or abusing the Jewish students.
That's true, yeah.
Why is that not there?
I think, okay, this is, again, I clearly, you know, I paid more.
attention to this movie than anyone.
It's why I caught the dad's commanding
officer fucking thing.
But there's a
scene where like a fully
grown man is trying to like
sprint out of the
fucking cafeteria or whatever
after they take it over. Yeah, they grab and throw him.
Well, okay, so he's,
this is like he's way taller
than the person who grabs him.
And the person that grabs him is
like they're wearing like
a furry superhero out.
And they're like a real like scrawny
implied to be like
they them furry
and the they them furry just beast
this guy. And I think
that's like a subtle way
of showing us that the guy who's running away
is Jewish.
Because because
he hears the word Palestine and he's like
oh no I got to run and then he just gets
fucking beasted by a woman
half his size. So
No, no, it's the trans person who's got their face covered who shows up later, I believe, who does that, isn't it?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
It's the one who gets hung beneath the ISIS flag.
Yeah, yeah.
Like, they can't even be consistent.
Like, if these guys, they're again supposed to be like Iran-aligned ISIS, which I want to just get into how they portray Shia Islam because it is, again, like, not to believe it for the point.
but like these guys are so much closer to like actual ISIS.
Like Israel is so much more like actual ISIS.
That's the real reason they could do actual ISIS.
Because they're alive with Israel.
Exactly what Israel believes.
But if this was like, if Iran somehow was like, okay,
the next stage of our Mosaic Warfare plan is to take over like a fucking B-tier
college university where David Lucas works as a security guard.
they would
immediately elevate
any trans students
to the Politburo
like if you
if you can say anything
about Iran
you know it's not that they're
trans foot
it's kind of the opposite
I really like
okay so like
after the little intro
where we see like
Jonathan Majors
was a Delta Force operator
they take this high value
target they arrest him
then it's like seven years later
and like the like
I really like everybody saying
we're like the lead villain
the lead ISIS
the Shia
ISIS guy is applying for a job at the college that they're going to make into a caliphate.
And like, he's being interviewed by this like, you know, mousy school administrator.
And she's like, and he's like, oh, like, I'm, I'm so happy to be in America.
I will do any job.
I will wash your floors and clean your shit for no money.
I love America so much.
And the administrator is just like, oh, well, you know, America's not all it's cracked up to be.
You know, you'll see, just give it a few months or whatever.
And then, like, she's like, you know what?
You're hired.
And, like, she extends her hand to him.
And he's like, no, no, I cannot touch a woman because, you know, out of respect for women, it's Islam, my religion.
And she's like, oh, well, it's good, no, chivalry isn't dead.
And, like, he says something about being religious.
And she's like, well, I'm a laps Catholic.
And again, it's just layering on all of, like, the typical, like, lib dialogue.
And you're like, this lib, she may think America's not great.
And I may have strayed from the Catholic Church.
But she's hiring an ISIS guy to be her janitor.
And she doesn't even know it.
And yes, they're very clear that this woman is killed later in the movie by that guy.
Yeah.
And then we're introduced to, like, the main characters of this movie, i.e. not Jonathan Majors.
The son of his former Delta Force comrade and then, like, his roommate who is supposedly going to college on a GI Bill.
And as a PTSD-scarred veteran who basically just plays Call of Duty on his computer or like,
the video game with some counter-strike.
knock off and like he's just like
what I loved about this character
is that he's always chomping on an unlit cigar
like he's fucking like Sergeant Rock
something like it's just like
a totally different era
of like how we code
soldiers or whatever like he's just got like
it's still in the corner of his mouth
that all the time but that's the thing
but it is is it but but he's a classic
insult like that's what they're modeling
him on her the stolen valor
and all this bullshit that's the weird
he has a girlfriend he's not
I'm sorry, this is one of my pet.
He's in love with a reporter, but he can't say it.
I feel like, no, what?
No, he's, I feel like I'm the only fan
of Ruhnhyde fighting adults in this fucking pot.
Wait, we're talking about the guy with cigars.
Yeah.
He doesn't have a girlfriend?
Yeah, he does.
Who's his girlfriend?
The fucking, uh, reporter.
No, no, no, he only confesses his love for her after he's shot.
Vixie's dying.
I don't know, he's not.
He's not.
an in sell though he's not like insel
means something really specific I've just
this is one of my pet peeves cutting a little close
Felix is that what's going on here?
I'm I know
I know
plenty of guys who play video games
have to toss women out the window
because they're throwing themselves out
Felix has a girlfriend on another podcast
I thought of way Felix
while recording this Felix is wearing a full
flight suit and like helmet like top
he's got the visor down and everything
he's got the oxygen mask on yeah
Ace Combat 8 is coming out in two days
yeah uh
but uh no
I just ever since I saw someone called
the weekend in in cell
it's like okay dude this fucking word
means nothing anymore like
come on like sounded out involuntarily
celibate like
uh okay I
I felt like it was implied that they like
maybe they've hooked up once or twice
but they're not like girl
but but like
not to blame to this point
back to the thing about like how he's characterized
there are so many clues in this movie
that this was written by like a bunch of
72 year old like
Zionists and one of them
is like the characterization of this
army guy because this
is all these guys
who wrote this movie they
were last at a
last in a dorm room in
in 1962 they all
dropped out of UCLA because they got too into playing bridge.
And they're like, oh, there was a 39-year-old GI in our fucking building.
And that's how, who they modeled this guy after.
Like, none of it.
All of these, all the, all the bad young people are just characters of like a geriatric
boomers fears of the Columbia encampment.
But all the good ones are just like, I hate this term Mary Sue, but they're not
characters. Like they don't have flaws, really. Yeah, yeah. The runner kid, the Korean kid,
like, they're just not characters. They're just like what an old conservative would like to see
in young people. Well, Felix, I was interested about the, like the PTSD veteran who we later
find out in the movie is not actually a veteran. Or he joined the army, but never deployed,
and has basically been letting people think he's his PTSD scarred veteran. I thought the small
nudges at making these like something other than like just like a stop.
only good character, like any characterization.
I thought it was really weird with that guy
because early in the movie when they're hanging out in the dorm room
dorm room and like, you know, the troop guy,
he's already given the what for to the protesters
about how like Gaza could have been a sparkling metropolis
but instead they elected Hamas and like, you know,
guys got like a cigar in the corner of his mouth.
He's given them his mind.
But then like they're drinking like the Korean kid
has a whiskey still and they're having like
a little Friday night dorm party.
They're listening to music.
There's like a knock on the door.
And it's the Indian kid down the hall.
And I really appreciated that it's the Indian kid at college.
He was like, could you turn the music down?
I'm trying to study.
Oh, Egyptian.
Oh, wait.
No, no.
The troop says, I thought he was Egyptian.
And he calls him a camel jockey and is racist to this, you know,
a South Asian student at the school.
And I was just like, oh, well, I guess this makes sense because he's PTSD.
he's like in Fallujah or something, so he hates it.
That's what made him racist.
But then in the movie, when it turns out that he doesn't have PTSD, it's just racist.
He's literally like what he thinks is an Egyptian student, a camel jockey.
Right.
I kept rooting for this character to die.
Like, he sucks.
It's so annoying that he didn't die.
Dude, even if he didn't, even if he wasn't, like, so he was in the army, but he just, like, never got deployed and never saw combat.
even if he did though the way he took like when he gets to this argument uh during their like crazy
four-person party where by the way one of the Korean characters things is that he like bruised his
own whiskey which is like okay he would if a 19 year old was trying to make his own whiskey he would
kill the entire dorms. If 19 year olds are fucking stupid man like he could not do that but anyway um
he gets to do an argument with
the object of our hero's affection.
She brings a friend to this get together.
And he gets to do a big argument
where he's just doing all the Zionist talking points.
He was like, oh yeah, try wearing that skirt in Gaza.
You know.
And people are like, hey, stop being annoying veteran friend.
And he's like, oh, yeah, well, I only think that
because two tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.
And it's like, like, even then, it's like, okay,
well, you weren't drafted, dickhead.
You know, you weren't forced in this situation.
You had clear eyes about all of this.
But the fact that he was just like a fucking desk jockey in the Army didn't do anything.
He's racist to everybody he sees.
And why is he even in college?
All he does is play like call of duty all day.
He doesn't even go to class.
And like, okay, one of the great, one of the great zingers in this movie.
And like this character, the fake.
troop character is so odd
because like he keeps being utilized
as like comic relief in what is
otherwise the attempts
to have like goofball like college guy
humor in this movie fall so flat because
like every other scene
is just dozens of college kids just getting
gunned down and
yeah yeah yeah and it's like this is essentially
supposed to be serious like Jonathan's a security guard
of the security guards also
yeah okay do you know who do you know who
plays the security guard by the way
yeah he's some comedian
Okay, so his name is David Lucas
The David Lucas is part of like the Joe Rogan
Austin comedy scene
And I think he got his big break on
Kill Tony, the most deceptively named
Show of all time
You tune in every week
Like is it finally going to happen and no
It isn't
But
David Lucas is
I don't want to call it midstery
Because even Al Jolson
wouldn't play characters
where he's like,
I love raping my girlfriend.
But that is kind of like
literally every clip of David Lucas
I've seen is just
it's either him on a podcast
or him to stand up.
He's like, one time I knocked my girlfriend out.
And it's like, what the fuck is the joke here?
Who watches this?
Who's like buying tickets to this shit?
What is what I mean about like
how awkwardly,
like just how flat all the comic relief
in this movie lands?
Because, like, in one scene, it's like an Israeli guy pretending to be an Iranian ISIS,
did jihadist terrorist.
Dude, yeah.
Like, strip, like, you know, like, making women put a burqa on and being like,
we will wash our filth away before you become our war brides.
Making all the women shower and put burqa on, but then making all the guys get naked.
Oh, I think that's, yeah.
Okay, like, there's a scene where they've, like, they've occupied the student union.
They've taken over and they, they separate the men and women.
And they're like, they were like,
the women, like, you will be cleansed
and you will become war brides for
our leader. And then, like, you see, like,
some of the terrorists are like, oh, hey, boss,
can we start with this one now? She's sort of
old and ugly. I, leader ain't going to want
her. And they're like, no.
They were like, our caliph has very,
like, has very, very, like,
has very varied taste. No one will
know what war brides he wants for himself.
So they must be unblemished.
And like, they, like, make the girls go shower
and put on burkas so that they can rape
them later. But they make the guys
all take their shirts off and record propaganda messages.
I thought if they missed a beat,
they should have made all the guys take their shirts off
and start doing, like, football drills
to recruit for their, like, SEC caliphate.
That's such a good idea.
If this movie was made with any...
Like, an ISIS combine.
That's such a good.
Yeah, yeah, exactly.
He was like, they're making them run a 40-yard dash
and killing them if it's under...
Over six seconds.
Imagine being like the Eli Manning
of the fucking ISIS Combine,
Like your numbers aren't so good, but you have the highest, like, wonderlick score.
Like, you're the best at, like, for, like, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, you're, you're, you're, like, the best at convincing, like, random guys who came here from London to, like, just become canon fodder.
You can recite all the Hiddhs from memory.
You're like, you're, you're like the thinking man's, uh, Kelly.
Like, that, that, again, if this movie was made with any humor, uh, if this movie was even halfway affecting propaganda, uh, uh,
Another thing I want to talk about, though, with the fucking Iranian Shia ISIS,
this is such a good insight into the way that his highness thinks about Shia,
which again, what is the difference between them and ISIS anymore?
The Shia are basically Targaryens.
And by that I mean, like, they're doing a terrorist attack,
but they think that every single thing is it's part of a prophecy.
they're like, oh, when they're talking about the Army guy, Saunders,
a fucking Jonathan Major's character,
they're like, the prophecy said Captain Saunders would be here.
And it's like, Muhammad probably didn't talk about a conservative influencer.
It is, like, in prison, like, he's like the last, like,
there has not been a new prophet that focuses on minorly successful conservative influencers.
but every step of the plan they're like oh the prophecy says that we have to do this
it literally is like fucking house of the dragon uh stupid king visi vizzi one talking about how everything
has to follow the prophecy of fire and ice like every like it just i don't know any
Muslim uh any branch of Islam that goes about their business that just in their day to day
life is like, oh, the prophecy
says that we should get lunch
at two.
Yeah, no, there's a seem
the way they conduct themselves.
The bad guy says, the prophecy says
Saunders will return.
Speaking of Jonathan Major's character, like, who the
fuck is this guy?
What prophecy are you talking about?
And it's wrong, too, because it should
say he'll return and then go away for a long
time and come back to the last.
He's the fucking occluded
Madi in this movie.
He fucking disappears in the middle hour of it.
They waited for, they wait for Saunders to return longer than Jews have waited for a lie.
Like that's how much of a break he takes.
But yeah, no, it's, could you imagine if you read the Quran in Arabic, you learn Arabic, classical Arabic to read the Quran.
And there's this whole part in here that just deals with conservative influencers.
Yeah.
Like a thousand years later.
Yeah.
Right.
Yeah.
I know this, I know, I know this doesn't seem relevant now in like six.
180. But just give it a little time.
You guys are, you guys are hitting the thing.
By the will of Allah,
Tommy Laron, we'll get bangs
in the year 2020.
You guys are hitting the thing that
puts the lie to what Will said about
how serious the film is.
Because I don't know
how much, probably, what, Felix, you watch it two times,
big fucking deal. I actually
watched.
I watched, what's his
Michael Knowles, Daily Wire show about,
have you guys seen this thing?
I mean, I know Michael Moses is.
Oh, yeah, but it was like Bench Piero, Andrew Clavin, Matt Walsh, and him.
Oh, this is like where they smoke cigars and have like guys.
And they're talking about them, but they did an episode on this movie.
The other thing I really like, look, I love a lot of the DW movies,
but we now have a male lead.
I don't know, we've had a lot of chicks in the movies.
We have a male lead.
This is, to your point, Ben, it is, it's like Red Dawn with a bunch of
Muslims added to turned up to 11. Get a real kick out of it. So if you haven't subscribed,
if I haven't showed this enough for you yet, Dailywire.com slash subscribe. You get the message.
Goes great with a Mayflower cigar. It goes well, though, even without a Mayflower cigar.
They did an episode on this movie after the film came out. And Ben Shapiro calls it,
I just saw this yesterday. It blew my mind. He goes, look, it's a cross between red dawn and
blazing saddles. And here's the thing, man. You guys, so in L.A. If you lived in L.A., if you lived
in L.A. many, many decades ago for the longest time, for the longest time. There were these
billboards in, in Hollywood. There were these, it was this creepy looking intense dude with wild
black hair. It was a poster for an indie film that you may be familiar with called the room
that was coming soon. That's all we knew. Coming soon. And it had unattributed quotes on it.
And it was like, you know, not since Tennessee Williams and all this stuff about. Like, what a great
drama it was. I am not joking, 72 hours after the room opened. By the way,
Point of Pride, I was at the very second showing of this thing before anyone knew because the,
the ticket taker, what of my favorite theaters told me and my friend Dan, you got to come back
tomorrow for this movie. 72 hours. They had slapped things on the billboard going the funniest
thing since Woody Allen. Yeah. Well, I mean, like, that's very instructed that Shapiro said
like, sort of post hoc said this movie is across between red dawn and blazing saddles.
But like, those two things don't mesh.
Like, like, and there has to be all satirical, making fun of everything in the movie.
And, like, what's so, the point I was going to make earlier about like a Dave Lucas moment in this movie is like, okay, it's him and the PTSD veteran guy.
And they're like, they're trying to like counterattack the terrorists.
Now, keep in mind, this is after both of them have seen probably 200 people.
get killed in front of them.
Like, you know, just wantonly executed
or just gunned down, running away.
Women, children, whatever.
All lives, by the way.
Yeah, all lives.
All lives.
So, like, and like, the movie keeps trying to tell you
how serious this is.
That, like, this is going to happen.
This is going to happen if we don't take the threat of Islam
seriously.
All the people who hate Israel and, you know,
Donald Trump, they're trying to make this happen.
All the blue hairs, all the gay people,
all the trans people, their day of reckoning is coming.
and it's their fault because they didn't love Israel.
So we're supposed to take that seriously.
And then to the point about like the humor
and trying to wedge in every fucking online argument
and beef and like fucking just weird
gripe that these people have,
Dave Lucas and the PTSD fake troop guy.
They're like trying to log onto a computer
and they get like an autoplay ad
and it's like for a shampoo.
And they're watching it.
And the troop guy goes,
ugh, why does every commercial
have a mixed race couple in it?
Yes.
And Dave Lucas goes, I know, man, I think it's stupid.
But I only date white women.
And it's like, oh, yeah.
It's like, wait, both of you who have just seen, like, dozens of your friend get gunned down in cold blood.
And you're, like, doing riffs about interracial couples and fucking chambu ads.
Like, yeah.
How is this different from a Marvel movie?
Yeah.
It's like the same thing.
Like, it's, like, they don't want, they don't want to, like, make all these guys will, like, literally the vet.
and quotes Rudyard Kipling
while he is playing video games
17 hours a day in college
you're not going to class.
They'll make these peons like good
movies or like how would they think
of like high culture
but they you you pass them to actually
make something and they just make like something
that sucks for all the reasons that like
a Marvel movie sucks and more.
They'll make like an incompetently made
birds of prey. Well because they're
mugging and doing all this like like like winking
like all this audience participation shit
and it's like Josh I'm stunned to find out
that like I thought this was just like
minor comic relief that made those sons
but the fact that like Ben Shapiro
is willing to say that this movie is
half blazing saddles
like a movie
he's saying that after the audience
I know he's trying to like the longer
any of that shit beforehand
but like I think I think he may be
betraying something which is that like
for me to I'm like there's like
when I saw this movie I was like there are
five or six moments of like dumb one-liners that are played for laughs that just don't work at all
because like every other scene is like I said is like some woman being sexually menaced or like
you know innocent people getting slaughtered but I think like for him like this movie is blazing saddles
because I wasn't interpreting it like all the scenes you're supposed to laugh at is when like that
gay guy gets kicked off a roof like that's what's funny to them yeah that's the gag yeah they think
that's hilarious but like it like it doesn't hold itself together because like at one point like
they think it's hilarious that this gay guy, like,
the scene were like, okay, like,
the ring leaders of the pro-Palestinian protests
are like a literal blue-haired girl with a Kakefia
and then a gay guy.
Who likes everyone.
Yeah, she doesn't say Polly, but I like everyone.
Yeah.
And like they've been in contact with, in their words,
real freedom fighters who support their cause.
And then like they do this terrorist attack.
And then they're like, like, the main bad guy is like,
don't you know who I am?
You do not support their cause.
like, here, I want to show you something.
And he takes him up to the roof of, like, the student union.
And then he's like, you will tell your children about this one day.
And then she's like, um, um, um, uh, actually like, you know, I'm Polly and he's gay.
And then he just kicks this guy off the roof.
And it's just like, in the worldview of the movie, they're like, this is serious.
This is what Muslims do to people, even gay people.
But at the same time, the movie is saying, isn't it funny that this gay guy thought this
Muslim wouldn't kill him?
So it's like, like, like, the film.
and the audience, they don't know what they want you to feel at any given moment of this movie
other than like hatred and contempt.
Primarily not Muslims, but liberal,
live college students.
They do that in the episode.
I'll tell you,
the Nall's episode,
they show that clip and they all laugh.
Like it's the sitting around the campfire farting scene.
Yeah.
And it's like,
but isn't a scene like that's supposed to be like,
uh,
make you feel like,
I don't know,
like discuss it at how evil Islam is and not how like funny it is.
Yeah.
in an actual movie regardless of your ideology,
it would be a gut-wrenching scene of just...
Yeah, yeah.
Like, going, like, if you were just going to take these guys,
like, at their word with, like, what,
with the propagandistic thrust of this movie is,
they want ISIS to do, like,
they want ISIS invasions on every U.S. college campus,
but, like, a controlled burn.
Yeah.
Like, maybe two or three days of ISIS at every university.
to just, you know,
you know, clear the weeds out.
In one of the only scenes
with Jonathan Majors in this movie,
he's like giving a lecture on campus.
And like the main character goes
because there's like a girl he wants to impress
and like the girl is the daughter
of some billionaire.
Like, again, none of this really matters.
But like, no, no, no, no.
Dude, am I the only man?
What am I getting wrong here?
Okay.
The daughter of the billionaire
is the kid, the Korean kid has a crush on.
No, no, no, no, no, you're wrong.
The main character has a question on that one.
He's the one to invite her to the whiskey tasting.
It's a girl because she goes in the lobby.
The billionaire, the billionaire's daughter is the Korean guy's love interest.
No, no, no, Felix, I, I, I don't know.
Go back and watch it.
You were, you were mistaken about this.
Remember, he walks away from her and then chases her to the library and she's looking at a
magazine and it's her dad is on the cover.
And the, the white guy, secret Muslim librarian guy, I think makes a comment.
But, that, by the way, breakout character.
of the movie. That is the only good character in the movie.
Felix Josh. The
the blogger's running away.
Bookstore owner who's just like
his dude, I like the idea did he
they, when the ISIS guys take over the building
he's just like nodding. I like the idea
that he wasn't even known on this plan. He's just been
waiting for the state of come.
And he's like, oh my God,
this is awesome.
Well like, so like in my notes
I said, why, like, what's the deal
with this German guy.
And then like two,
like,
you know,
a few notes later,
I go,
oh, he's a terrorist.
He's a terrorist.
He's a deep cover terrorist.
But look,
I'm not going to say which one.
I think Josh and I are correct
on our interpretation of this.
Keep in mind when you watch this movie,
the four lead college students,
there's,
there's two girls,
two guys.
I had face blindness to them the entire movie.
Like,
I had a very hard time differentiating who,
I had like white people face blindness
for these characters.
Yeah.
Especially the main character
and his PTSD room.
made. I got them confused all the time because like they look very similar to each other.
Yeah, yeah. I could be wrong here because like, yeah, I, they were working off creative character.
They barely, it's like barely, they barely have different hairstyles and they have the all the exact same
fucking face. I could be wrong here. I just like, I consider myself like a real fan of the franchise,
but like I could be, I haven't consulted run hide fight a pedia lately. So I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I,
I actually could be wrong.
But the part of the one of the ones I was going to make earlier is in one of the few scenes with Jonathan Majors in this movie,
it's like right before the terrorists attack the campus to, like I said,
establish a caliphate,
the first caliphate in America,
but like with the borders of like Bennington College.
Yeah.
And they're like,
and what,
just hold it indefinitely?
We'll get to that later.
But like,
okay,
so Majors is giving his like a lecture on college about how evil and dangerous Islam is.
And like in it,
he says,
there are three ways
Islam will conquer the West
through immigration
through the wombs of our women
and using our Western freedom
against us.
It's the second one,
using the wounds of our women against us
because like this movie
like so much Hasbara propaganda
likes to belabor over and over again,
particularly the way like Islam's treatment of women
that they make women veil
and they think like women who are unmarried
or horrors who can be like sold into
sexual slavery or just rape
or killed or something like that.
And it goes over and over again.
And like supposedly to say,
oh, like, this is why the West is worth defending
from like an evil totalitarian religious, you know,
terrorism or even immigration from people from those countries.
But like it also, while saying that makes the same point,
makes the point that like, oh, the terrorists are kind of right
about women in this country.
And like they do need to be trained in discipline.
Like, because it's just like, they're like,
and he's saying, Islam will conquer America through
immigration, our Western freedoms, and the wombs of our women.
But he's not saying that to say, like, and that's why the West is worth defending.
He's saying, in order to defeat this threat, we need to take away the freedom of women,
minorities, and immigrants in this country.
Interesting, yeah.
It's also, by the way, a point, and, you know, it's probably not the first time it was made
and many in between.
But what boggled my mind is there's a significant chunk of birth of a nation.
the original one.
Yeah, yeah.
Still the best, in my opinion.
Yeah, yeah.
That is all about that.
That it's, you know,
these black,
if you've never seen the film,
but it's a bunch of like white guys
and blackface playing,
you know,
the free black slaves.
And now they're like,
now all they want is white women.
And watching Jonathan Majors,
a black actor,
deliver that same kind of rhetoric
I'm just like, God damn, man.
I mean, you committed to this part, but do you know where this shit comes from?
Yeah.
Ben Shapiro, he tried to defend this movie, by the way, as being like, you know, not against Islam.
Even though John's a fucking coward.
Yeah.
He's, well, he does the famous line where it's like, oh, these aren't Muslims.
These are ISIS guys.
But the hero of the movie, Captain Saunders, he does.
say ISIS is coming here to do
demographic replacement. He says Muslims.
Yeah. Which
like how many fucking Muslims do you think
there are in America?
That's it. I think
about one percent of the population less than I check.
Right. They can't even do great replacement theory
right. They're trying to
like crib great replacement theory from the
people who are flanking them from the right.
But they're like, oh, how do we roll this into
our fucking neocon project?
Oh, I know. We switch out like
all non-whites for just Muslims.
And you know, that's funny.
We've been talking about this over the last couple episodes,
but especially like in light of the University of Texas scandal
that Indians go to the University of Texas,
like they've realized that like,
oh, like the Muslims are not big enough group in America
to do great replacement theory.
So we're just going to like add all Indians in there with them
as an equally dangerous threat to America.
And I like, I want to see a run hide fight movie
about like the Hindu cast system.
They're going to like make Americans stop eating beef.
for something.
Every terrorist's last name is Patel.
Another thing I appreciate about this movie is
they must have had something for like a music budget
because the climactic action sequence of this movie
set to Vaseline by Stone Temple Pilots.
I kept wondering, are they actually paying for this stuff
or are they just doing a Trump?
They might be, yeah.
By the way, which raises a question.
Because, you know, is the only place you can see this to join the daily wire?
Unfortunately, that's...
Legitimately, feeling.
I mean, legitimately.
Oh, legitimate?
Oh, no.
Well, I got this from a new streaming service called We Transfer.
Yeah.
Yeah, but just a little note about the music.
I was in the bathroom.
They make a huge show about the Korean kid being into indie rock because they,
that's how his parents learned English or something.
Like, I'm not being racist.
That's, like, part of the plot.
But it's not, like, Stone Temple Pilots is not indie rock.
This is a new right-wing thing.
They're like, oh, indie sleeves was like the last great white culture.
And you're like, okay, what do you mean by Indy Slease?
And they go, oh, you know, like Stone Temple Pilots and Chavelle.
And it's like, what?
You don't know what the fuck you're talking about.
about who's the king of the carrot flowers asshole?
You don't know.
You're not really into this stuff.
I would say like,
one of the one of the ones I want to talk about is like another element that separates
this movie from, as I mentioned earlier,
like 80s era,
Golan Globus, like, you know, hateful but still entertaining right wing action movies,
is that like this movie like as nasty as it is like doesn't really have the guts to be fully
evil.
And by that,
I think the filmmakers is like,
Kyle Rankin, I think, is kind of gutless to do this movie
and have so much of it focus on the subjugation of women
and their sexual slavery and to, like, not have a rape scene in this movie.
You know, he wanted to put it in there.
And it's just like, I don't know why he like chickened out here
because like there's a scene of them making them.
Because if you can't do that for these idiots.
Yeah.
Unless, although that goes to my theory that, you know,
it's all him going, fuck you to Ben Shapiro.
I mean, I mean, that speaks to a larger point, though.
We're supposed to believe that these ISIS guys,
like this could happen at any time.
We need, like, we need to deport Machmoor Khalid.
We need to kill all the fucking pro-Palestine protesters.
We need to do all this shit.
We need to extradite them to Israel.
But these ISIS guys, they're like the minions, basically.
Like, they can't do fucking anything right.
They get fucking owned by not even,
by an obese security guard and like by David they get owned by David Lucas a division three
track star and a fake soldier like that okay okay then it's not like it's it sounds like ice this isn't
that big of the deal uh yeah they did they only kill libs do they do they kill a single based guy
in this entire movie uh based by the standards of this movie I mean like no no there's no
I fully thought that the black security guard was going to get it in the scene.
Can we talk about the pregnant lady for an hour?
I mean, that was,
uh,
oh yeah.
I'm like,
I wanted the racial politics of this movie.
This is like class it.
This is like how you know you're dealing with real like neocon daily wire shit is they make,
they make all their mouthpieces in these movies like the black car.
Yes, exactly.
Exactly.
They're like,
there's a scene where like the school administrators are like,
and like professors are trying to talk about like,
what do we do about this encampment?
And most of them are like,
I think we should give the university to them
to make reparations for our people.
It's a middle-aged black woman who calls them out.
Yeah, yeah.
And like, you know, exactly.
They have to have their opinions in the mouths of a woman
or like, in this case, a woman of color.
And she's like, the school quad is for everyone
and they're denying access,
which is a form of kidnapping.
So like, why don't we just call the sheriff's department
and have them all arrested?
And they're like, how dare you?
You're doing wrong.
racism. But then, like, they make sure that this character is pregnant,
and then, like, she's in her office and then, like, just literally gives birth to a baby
and, like, cuts the umbilical cord with, like, you know, a pair of scissors from her desk.
Could you imagine anything more horrifying than, like, your baby's first sight being David Lucas?
Like, I, like, if I, the character, by the way, who is most likely to rape someone during this movie
was David Lucas.
far more than any of the
I do I'm not
listen to his stand-up
every podcast clip I've seen
of this guy he's like
it's awesome to choke a woman unconscious
and throw her out a window
it's like
he just
he would fit right in
and fucking ISIS
they should have like
when the credits roll
they should have like
the gag reel
of like Dave Lucas outtakes
oh my God him riffing
yeah
like it's smoky in the bandit or something
yeah yeah yeah
yeah
I don't know like the fact that like
If my child's first sight in this world was David Lucas, I'm throwing him out.
Like, I'm selling him for a fucking circus or something.
Oh, yeah, yeah, this kid's going to become a doctor now, I'm sure.
But, like, I think my favorite line in this movie is that, like, at a certain point, like, the college kids, they fight back.
And, like, our hero, like, he is able to, like, free women from being Burka slaves.
And he's like, come on this way, just opens the door.
and they all run out.
And then, like, the terrorists are like,
our female slaves are escaping, like, quick.
We have, like, and they managed to make it, like,
outside the perimeter of the caliphate,
which is being guarded by, like, by police who won't go in.
I think that was, like...
Who's going in? Yeah, that was so...
I guess maybe that was, like, a reference to the Ovaldi police department or something,
but...
The second one.
Yeah, yeah.
So, like, there...
Some of the hostages, some of their sex slaves are freed.
And then, like, it's, like, two scenes later,
we hear of the lead terrorists,
they're, like,
he's changed plans.
Like the plans for his caliphate
fell apart. And I was like, wait, the plans
for his caliphate were literally just like the 30
hostages he had in the student union
of this college. And he's like, I lost
the women. Fuck it. Like, it's a plan B.
So that is about like, he's been trying to get to
the president and have the president
release his father, who's the former head
of the ISIS caliphate. Wait, wait, wait, wait. Can we just
because you just breathe through, it's such a great scene
when the first time they realized,
he's the bad guy.
It's the president of the school and the sweet white lady who hired him.
They're saying they're talking.
And the guy,
all they know of is he's the janitor.
And he walks into the room and he's the other like,
Ahmed,
what are you doing here?
And he throws a cell phone at the school president.
He goes,
get me the president of the United States.
Oh, man.
I mean,
like,
you know,
references so important when you hire someone.
Am I right?
Exactly.
You're like, so, and then it's like, because then the lead terrorist is like, okay, we're scrapping the plan for the college caliphate.
Our war brides ran away.
We lost them.
Fuck it.
This is pointless.
Then he's like, okay, I want you to bring my father, the ISIS terrorist who is currently abect to be sentenced to life of like ADX Florence.
Bring him here on a military helicopter and like fly us away or we'll kill all, we'll kill the daughter of a billionaire or something like that.
So, like, they land on the football field, like, with this guy, like, in a jumpsuit, like, shackled.
And there are, like, two operator guys, like, sort of guarding him on the airplane.
Oh, sorry, on the helicopter.
Never see that.
Like, the end of this movie is, like, Jonathan Majors rolls up to this guy.
And Josh, like, well, actually, Felix, you watched a movie closely.
Is this the guy that he arrested at the beginning of the movie?
Yeah.
Okay.
Yes.
Yeah.
Well, yeah.
And, like, this is supposed to be the master terrorist, the guy behind all of this.
But, like, he's essentially a character for about 10 seconds.
of this movie.
But they show him on the news too at one point.
And it's really bizarre because they've cast a guy.
And he's obviously,
they've whitened his hair to make him look older,
which is the strangest thing to do for a character who's not,
he's not a movie star.
It's not like, you know,
how are you to make, you know,
Ryan Gosleg look old?
He's like a guy who's in it for a minute.
And they fake up his age.
And he's never young in the film either.
It's nuts.
I guess it's like the dad of the main villain.
Of the main guy, yeah.
Okay, but essentially, like,
the head of the ISIS Caliphate
has been freed from prison
and they're going to do some sort of hostage exchange,
but, like, he's being escorted by the U.S. military
who presumably are under orders to, like, guard him.
Jonathan Majors, with an assault rifle,
just walks up to this helicopter.
My favorite part is that the guy's guarding him,
you'd never see them.
You just see their knees and guns sitting there.
But Jonathan Majors is like,
Hey, fellas, you mind if I have a second with this guy real quick?
He just walks up to him and starts like, like, he's like, listen to asshole.
Like you think you think America is some fucking like some weak fucking woman that's just going to like be enslaved by you?
Give you her womb.
Yeah, give you her womb to take this country over.
And like the military guys are like not concerned by this.
And like we get the moment where he's like, you won't kill me.
You coward.
I am shackled.
Ha ha ha ha.
This is the American way is to have trials.
And you're.
that's America is your climate change
and abortion.
And then Jonathan Majors just blows him away,
just domes him.
And like, what I love about that scene is like,
the military guys were guarding him
because, like, he was very important to this,
like, hostage exchange that the president ordered him to do.
But they're like, no, it's okay.
You can just go on.
Yeah.
But they just walk away.
There's no reaction whatsoever.
He just spits and walks away.
He fires,
Jonathan Majors has, like, a fucking M4A1.
And he fires like a fucking
armor piercing around into this guy's head
in a helicopter. Like in that round
would be bouncing around that helicopter.
You might have gotten a collat on all
those fucking Marines. But when he
when he fucking unloads on this guy,
the only reaction from the Marines
at Jonathan Majors firing around into
this like captive guy's head for no
reason. Like again, it is not
accomplish any goal. Like the terrorist
has already been defeated on a merry-go
round at this point. Oh my God,
I forgot about that.
Like the climactic actions,
takes place on a carousel.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But, but like,
it's not like,
oh,
if this guy is still alive,
he'll like go terrorist super sand.
No,
he's like defeated.
They can take it back to ADX 4s.
He's just fucking popping around to this guy's dome for no reason.
But the only reaction from the Marines is,
whoa.
And then they just,
you just see the helicopter fly away.
So they're just flying all the way back to like their black side with this guy.
There's not even a reaction shot.
You just see their knees.
That's it.
They don't even.
No, they literally,
no,
you literally hear like a very faint,
whoa.
Okay.
Which is funnier than there being no reaction.
Yeah.
A.
D.R.
in,
they're like,
hey,
maybe,
maybe there should be some reactions.
Like,
like,
whoa.
Damn.
Cut it feel or her.
Damn.
That's a while.
Yeah.
Oh,
I guess he was having a case of the moment.
You know,
I just realized.
That is what kind of a movie it is.
It's,
he's got,
will,
I'm not joking.
Like,
they actually.
They actually, it's competently enough written that Jonathan Majors has an arc.
It's one of the entire conversation at the very beginning of the film is you don't want to see him die out here.
You want to see him rot in the cell.
Right.
And by the end of the film, he has learned like, no, just kill.
Yeah, yeah.
And wouldn't you think that like if Charlie Kirk were to like, what are your best friends that you probably wouldn't end a movie with a guy just shooting someone he disagrees with and then going, that's the American way?
I don't, okay, I don't, in defense of the movie, I do think it's, with an ISIS guy, it's not just like, oh, that's the guy who disagree with.
You know what?
I don't think they did the caliphate the right way.
Could you imagine if that's how they try to do the caliphate?
They're just going around campuses.
They're like, yeah, she'll, she a, she a crawl on the ground like snakes who worship the moon.
changed my mind.
That's the final synthesis of Israel and ISIS, by the way.
I totally forgot.
There is like almost in a nod to the great Stephen Crowder.
At one point, the hero of the movie puts on a burqa to pretend to be a woman.
So like, I think it's a little nod to the, you know, campus debate thing.
We're like, you know, guys like Crowder.
He's like, you know, I'm going to dress up with a woman.
Yeah.
Well, and to go to sort of the massage you thing, remember the senior, you know, when
they let the women out.
And the lead is having that fight in the gym
with the dude.
And like, like, 30 women just walk by.
And one of them just like cautiously,
tepidly picks up a weight and sort of rolls it to him.
Oh, but, oh, I saw, like, when the girl picked up the weight,
I'm like, oh, she's going to brain this guy.
Yeah.
She's just like, the guy's currently, like, he's having a metal bar pressed down on his throat.
And they're like, sorry, don't mind us.
And she just gently nudges a 10 to 10 pound barbell into this guy's hand.
And he's like, you have to do everything.
everything. The fight, all the fights in this movie are so horribly choreographed. It's supposed to be pressing the barns of this guy's throat, but he just presses it into like his upper pectorals. It's so badly choreographed. Like they wouldn't even, like it's, you can make a choke look good on film, but they didn't even try. Like this is so fucking badly made. The original run hide fight, it wasn't made as conservative. Like it famously was already made in Daily Wire, like slap their shit on it. But it was at least like,
It was competently like choreograph.
There wouldn't be major fuckups like this.
That's like not how you choke someone.
That is like the worst movie logic.
Nothing pisses me off in movies more than when they choke someone by like pressing something on their chest.
Or when you knock a guy out by hitting him on his upper back once.
This like pro wrestling shit.
Then he crushes the guy's head.
And then he was the dumbest killsinger of, oh, is that what it is?
leg press. Yeah. Yeah. He says
don't forget about leg press. Oh, okay. I'll take it back.
I said it a lot. Yeah, yeah, which would have been a lot better
if it had been delivered with an Austrian accent.
Never forget leg day.
Oh, God.
It's so, that is it, though. They're trying to be like
the classic Arnold stuff.
Like, um, I like all the lesser known
Arnold lines, like your luggage.
Your luggage. Yeah.
For a racer. Yeah. Dude, it's so good.
You shouldn't drink and bake.
Yeah, oh yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, like all these sayings that are only known in Austria and translated into English.
But it's so, like Arnold's like a god.
Arnold is like whatever you think about him politically or legitimizing his bastard.
I know a lot of people don't like that.
But as an action star, a god.
The goat.
And he just, the goat, his one letters are so fucking cool.
we would save them to each other in our household growing up all the time.
But having this like fucking, I'm sorry,
track star, the worst sport, the sport of running away.
He never gets me to use it either.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
They're like, you have to run and get help.
The FBI is posted up 15 miles away.
How fast can you get there?
Okay, that is another thing.
I love about this movie.
They have the governor of the state.
They're like, okay, so terrorists have kids.
killed like 30 people and they've taken over this campus.
Oh God, that was so good.
Yeah, they're like, Kathy Hochel type woman.
Yeah.
We're not going to send police it.
We're going to start a committee to figure out why this happened.
And like it is, like, even that is cobra.
Yeah.
Like, they wouldn't act like that.
No, no, exactly.
And that's where they, like, they can't contain their glee or like they,
where it just stretches like any actual point they're trying to make.
Because you're right, it feels like, this is at a moment where, like, terrorists have
already killed like 200 college students.
And like outside the perimeter,
people are protesting the cops
for trying to like save people.
They're like,
cop feds off our campus.
Fed's off our campus.
It's like, come on.
Like,
like a competent movie with this same worldview
would have these people be like,
thanking the cops.
You're like, oh, you know,
I've been so foolish.
Like now I know why we need to have
armed security guards everywhere.
But no, like they're still protesting.
They're like,
the police needs to end their racist aggression
against these tax.
And it's just like, go on.
Like, it's just, they tease the hero.
Yeah, yeah.
Dollar guy.
Yeah.
Just legitimately funny.
Dude, if anything, the liberals in this movie come off as fucking lions.
Like, they're held hostage by ISIS.
Like, their friends and family are being, like, massacred by ISIS.
And they're like, don't save them.
They're kaf.
They're awesome.
I don't agree with them, but, like, they're pretty awesome.
They're, like, more hardcore than the conservatives in this movie.
me.
We also like, it's 2026.
Like how I thought the right had accommodated this fact.
Like how oblivious do you have to be to have it like it's a given that polyamorous
and gay people just naturally will never have children.
Right.
Right.
I mean, like, isn't Dave Rubin one of their friends?
Yeah.
Yeah.
He's got kids.
Like they love, they love like in the, in the daily.
wire world at least. They love like
having a guy who hosts a show
where it's like I'm gay but I hate Democrats
but I married a guy who
looks like a different
version of me and create a character
and we have a
base we have a
base gay kid together
like they yeah they love guys like
that so it just yeah I
mean I was
another lion
Thera the leader of the protest
she's like gets her throat slit by the ISIS guy over natalism
she's the one she's the one who's like I like everyone
and this right after they kick you know what the gay character's name is by the way
Bruce Bruce this is another tell that the youngest guy
right in his movie was like 74 yeah like Jesus
but Farah,
Farah's like, I don't want to have kids
because of how bad the world is.
And the ISIS guy just like fucking slits her throat.
Like, he's so serious about natalism.
Which I don't, like, I don't even,
is that part of the ISIS thing?
Like, this is, it's neither here nor there
because they are so badly
trying to make these guys like Palestinian, Iranians
to fit like the current Neo-Gon thing.
But ISIS, they face.
famously didn't care whether you wanted to or not.
They would just make you a sex slave.
Yeah.
But like you said,
they don't have the like nuts to actually go full board.
Like I said,
like the fact that like,
at one point this movie like,
they definitely say that the Palestinian protests
are being supported by Iran.
And then the lead terrorist character at some point says that like,
the leader of their caliphate is the hidden imam.
Which is like,
that's what,
that is a tenant of Shia Islam is the believing in the hidden imam.
Right.
Or does that,
the Sunnis believe that as well?
No, the occulted Madi is like a part of Shia.
But like I like you thought that it was like they were trying to set up the ISIS group was also Shia, which is like, you know, fairly discordant with reality.
But like I think that's because as you pointed out, Felix, like Israel has so we say made some accommodations for ISIS in the past.
And it is very clear that their real enemy are Hezbollah and Iran who are Shia.
Yeah, yeah.
I mean, all the specific callouts of actual real world events are when they're not about like,
oh, Gaza could have been like Las Vegas.
It's about Iran.
Like the first thing that the stolen valor character says to the student encampment is like,
the formerly alive leaders of Iran.
And like, you guys might have wanted to do some ADR about that.
That we are getting fucking sodomized by those guys.
Well, like, I mean, like, I guess.
In conclusion, like, this movie is very clearly like a reaction to the campus protests,
like for the pro-Palestinian protests, where this is like a not even veiled whatsoever
wish for Thalman fantasy of saying that like, oh, even though terrorist attacks like this
don't happen in America and they certainly don't happen because of pro-Palestinian protest,
it would be good if they did.
But we're also saying that like, this is so dangerous.
It's a threat we're not taking seriously.
but also like, the essential point of this movie
is the terrorists, be they Sunni, Shia, ISIS, Hezbollah, whatever,
are little more than but a necessary evil
to confront and punish the real evil of this movie,
which are like blue-haired, obnoxious college students.
Like, it is very clear, like, in the worldview of this movie,
obnoxious college, like, campus protesters,
are more dangerous and evil
and more deserving of death, torture, and enslavement,
and rape than ISIS terrorists.
Yeah, 100.
Like, they basically think of ISIS as, like, the flood in Nozark.
They're necessary for clearing all the brusses and pharaohs out.
And, like, they exist only as, like, an agent to do the things to campus protesters that these people all desperately want to do and want to say this is what we should do to them, either kill them or.
or like, whatever, but like, because they're too gutless to actually say that, they invent
this whole terrorist attack to be like, oh, like, not, not so cool to be pro-Palestinian now
when it's Muslims who are fucking killing you.
Like in the real world, all of the queers for Palestine go off buildings in an Islamic state-run
area.
And that's one of the points that I think the film makes it, it makes it an entertaining
fashion, but I mean, it, again, but there are, you know, the thing is, there are
also some knocks on the Muslims in the movie, too.
Like, yes, it does portray some of their best attributes,
but it also shows the bad stuff, I think, right?
But it's just like, have the courage of your convictions
and just like have the main character and hero of this movie
be a guy who kills the college students himself
because they're fucking gay and fucking anti-Israel.
A not gutless version of this movie
would it be about Jewish students on American campuses
being victimized and then fighting back,
like a Jewish version of Death Wish set on Columbia.
That would be the non-cowardly version of this movie.
Oh, my God.
You could have Shy David I.
I got to go, guys.
I got to start writing.
Hang on.
I'll talk to you later.
Holy shit.
That movie would be awesome.
Seth Rogen.
Cut out this fucking Islamic terrorist middleman and just get to the meat of the story.
Get to the real fucking shit.
Get to what you're the actual thoughts and beliefs behind this movie.
Say something meaningful instead of this.
this track.
Nothing.
It amounts to nothing
because like,
Josh, I go back to the thing you said,
I'm fascinated that Ben Shapiro
called this movie
a combination between Red Dawn
and Blazing Saddles.
Because like,
I'm sure you're right.
They wanted it to be Red Dawn,
which is like a fairly silly movie,
but that movie is played serious
and it works.
Red Dawn is a good movie.
It's a fun,
good movie,
even if you don't take serious
to the idea that like Cuba
and Dickerogged
by a great
Colorado.
Yeah,
yeah,
familious.
That's an actual right-wing artist.
Yeah.
Like an actually talented right-wing artist
who like has reactionary views
but like makes is a great writer
and makes good movies.
The thing is like you're all,
it's always a tell when you try to like
undercut something that you think
that it's supposed to be serious but like isn't.
And then you just try to say,
oh well like half of it is just blazing saddles.
Half of it's just a parody.
Yeah. Oh, we're kidding.
Yeah.
And it's because they like they don't have the actual
like artistic talent or courage of their convictions
to do a movie that is
just straight up serious.
Because they know it sucks
and they know they're not talented
enough to do it.
And they know that like
the reception of this movie
they have to like,
they have to undermine their own point of view
by saying like,
ha ha, isn't this funny?
Isn't it like blazing saddles?
A movie that is like a satire,
like that is an over the top satire.
But like they can't really identify like,
like it, like I said like,
what they have to,
what they're left up with is just like,
isn't it funny that this gay guy was kicked off the roof
by a Muslim guy?
Yeah.
And like he thought he supported Muslims.
But actually they want to kill him.
But they can't even.
commit to like, like even Ben Shapiro can't be like, oh yeah, this movie's about how bad Muslims are.
It's just so fucking gutless. It's gutless. Like does anyone think even half a second that Ben Shapiro
doesn't think that Muslims, by definition, terrorist Sunni, Shia, otherwise immigrants, whatever.
He thinks that Muslims writ large are bad and should not have rights. They talk about that on that
that episode where, you know, they talk about that, well, there's individual Muslims who are okay.
Who? Name one.
Abu Bakar al-back daddy.
Do they actually mean?
The current president of Syria.
They can't own,
even they are slightly embarrassed about their beliefs.
It's a combination of being slightly embarrassed
about saying out loud the things everyone knows you believe.
But more than that, it's laziness.
It's that they don't have the talent or artistic fortitude
to produce something that is just straight up serious.
Or that tries and demands to be taken serious.
even if it isn't. They're not willing to swing and miss.
So they go with this half thing about being like, well, actually half of the movie is
Blazing Saddles. So if you think it's stupid or funny or not serious,
oh, we intended that. Yeah.
It's just so, by the way, if you're like, your thing is like there needs to be a Jewish
day. There needs to be like, we're under attack. We need to preserve Judaism.
And to show how important it is, we're going to make a movie.
And the movie you make sucks. It's like, okay.
then, like, what's the point of giving us a country?
If we can't even make good movies anymore, dude.
Like, it's just, yeah, at least make, like,
if this was as good as, like, death wish, too,
they'd at least win some people over.
But no, they can't even do it.
Like, what is the point?
Oh, my God.
When they don't get nominated,
are they going to complain about lack of representation?
Yeah.
Almost certainly.
And they should have, like,
similar to the Super Bowl half time this show,
they should have, like,
the people's American Oscars.
And like, a run-hide fight infidel sweeps the real Oscar,
the real American Oscars.
Best actor, best supporting actor, Dave Lucas.
Yeah.
All right, well, unless you guys have any concluding thoughts
about run-hide-fight, infidel,
should we leave it there for today.
Well, I, what do you guys,
what do you guys think the future of the franchise is?
Like, what do you think their next thing is going to be?
Well, I know what the next thing's going to be.
I figured this out.
I was going to say, because when you watch,
I would recommend watching that interview with Michael Knowles
or the episode where they all sit around, yuck it up.
I recommend watching Michael Knowles every day.
I'm very familiar.
I've heard him,
but I've never watched a ton of Matt Walsh consistently.
Doing that fake manly voice,
that must hurt, right?
Like, you know,
I was talking like this.
Like, that would rip your throat to shreds.
That poor guy.
He's in a Tom Waits cover band in his,
This is a hobby.
But keep in mind.
There's one moment they're talking about the film.
And keep in mind that the first run,
hide fight features a woman in the lead,
a teenage girl, right?
And Michael Knowles says,
Nowles,
noels,
whatever.
He says,
it's nice to see a movie like this
with a male lead.
And I went back and I watched
this part again.
And Ben Shapiro just sort of stares at the screen blankly,
because if he agrees,
he's got to acknowledge
that have you female lead in the last film was a mistake.
And it occurred to me that the next film,
and they're talking about Jonathan Shapiro,
even though he is not actually literally the lead
when you watch the film.
But they mean Jonathan Majors.
Jonathan Shapiro.
Wow, he's really trying to get his career back.
He was supposed to be Kang.
Now he's Shapiro.
the lead in the next film and the next
and the thing is people keep on it's a sequel and it's like
I guess it's because it's not really a sequel
it's just a title they slap on movies
that are what diehard set
in some sort of educational place with
right way I don't know
but the next one the star is going to be Army Hammer
oh hell yeah
I don't Army Hammer it seemed like mentally
scarred by doing fucking citizen vigilante
I don't know I I
I do think, okay, my prediction,
because they're always like two or three years behind,
in 2030, they're going to do,
the next run-hide fight,
they're going to keep with,
like, it takes place in a school theme,
but it's going to be about, like, a preschool
and it's obvious Ms. Rachel stand-in.
Ah!
She's just going to start, like,
killing Jewish toddlers.
Oh, my God.
And they're going to, like,
conservatives, I don't know if you guys know this,
they love,
Bluey.
Hey, I love Bluey too.
Well, they say that
Bluey is like a work of conservative
art. Like, to them, like, Bluey
is like Celine.
It's made by Australian
public television.
Yeah. I mean,
no, that is such a great
Jacobin 2016 article.
Bluey is actually socialist
because it's like made by Australia.
I'm just kidding.
Do they really?
They don't write that many of those articles.
My four year old just got into
Bluey and it seems, it seems okay.
Well,
Okay, Bluey, like, you separate the art from the artist.
Bluey says some horrible things about, like, minorities, but like as, as an artist.
About abos?
Yeah, like, some really bad stuff.
But, like, as an artist on impeachable.
But, you know, it's, it's going to be like an australic, like, either like full on a cartoon dog that's supposed, like, is like a legally distinct bluey or just like an airbud type thing with an actual Australian Shepherd.
that like talks in fucking Ben Shapiro's voice
and it's going to rally
it's going to bring a team of like
based dogs to kill the Muslims
because that's another thing.
All these people love like, you know,
based woofers taking on the fucking Muslims
to hate dogs.
I, Felix.
Oh, my W-Based Woffer.
My expense, you just pointed out,
Gina Carrano is Ms. Rachel.
Yeah, Gina Carano is Ms. Rachel.
God, this is, okay, yeah.
It's, it's, it's, it's,
a very thinly
revealed Miss Rachel character
takes like a classroom of preschoolers hostage
and keeps them in tunnels
keeps him in tunnels under menhatton.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
And a heckin-based woofer.
Like, it's like, Daily Wire Airbud.
And they'll be like,
Islam says that dogs are unclean.
But like he's about to dirty them with blood.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, he's about to dust them off.
Oh, my.
Oh,
and you,
well,
isn't it
that's a
current
unbelievably stupid
looking movie
with Brad Pitt
and a dog
called like
heart of the dog
or something
and it's like
supposed to be wonderful.
Oh,
yeah,
it's like,
it's like,
it's like
Brad Pitt and his
there's a former soldier
who had a former dog
had a combat dog
and they're both veterans
and the movies
described as like
two soldiers
struggle to survive
and I'm like
the dog isn't a soldier
he didn't have any
fucking surprise.
Yeah.
I defy you to watch that trailer
and not cry like a baby
if you love dogs.
I'm running for that fucking dog
to get killed every second.
I do.
That dog is a war criminal.
It needs to be put down.
It needs to gas that fucking thing.
I, dude, I hate
fucking lazy service animals
are doing that shit.
There's so many of them.
Fucking,
dude,
sign me up as a member of Shying Path
if you get what I'm saying.
But yeah,
in this movie,
because it takes place to New York,
you're going to have a thing where
we are such better
neo-conservative filmmakers
and these guys.
The fact that Jewish death wish
was not even considered, yeah.
Yeah, Will, how about this?
You have it, so,
Miss Rachel and the ISIS preschool,
they're aligned with, like, gangs.
And so you can,
you can bring in our,
my favorite film star of all time.
The guy from that vine
who's talking to that, like, Hasidic toddler,
he's like, man, they fucked your shit up.
Oh, God.
He's like, yeah, he's like the liaison
between like the street gangs
and uh fucking
ISIS Shia preschool
Miss Rachel
he's like her right hand
but they they all get owned
by the fucking base woofer
it's like W for dog lovers
run eye
yeah run I fight preschool
is
um
preschool slash animal shelter
yeah
I mean actually
oh my God oh my
the ISIS animal shelter
and then there's a dog on fire
Yeah, there's an Abdul al-Said character
because I don't know if you've been following this,
but in Michigan, like, one of the attacks on him is, like,
because he's Muslim, they're like,
Abdul al-Said oversaw the murders of thousands of dogs and cats.
And it's just like, well, I mean, like,
it's not nice to think about,
but, like, that is essentially what happens
to unclaimed animals everywhere in this country.
And it's just like, do you really give a shit
that, like, there are kill shoulders,
passing dogs?
Yeah.
Nobody's fucking...
I feel like, I feel like Ralph Ciforetto when I hear the shit.
You eat beef and pork.
by the fucking truckload.
Yeah, exactly.
And, okay, and there could be an Obama character
who's like, he's behind all of it.
And he's just like, the whole movie, like,
they keep calling like a shadowy figure
and he's sitting at a desk.
And at the end of the movie, it's revealed.
He has like a napkin, like, tied around his neck.
And he's like banging a fork and knife on the table.
And he's like, bring me air bud.
Bring me air Israel.
I'm trying to eat him.
Come on.
Sorry, excuse me.
Excuse me, real speedy here.
He's not eating the dogs, you amateur.
He's eating the children.
Hey, maybe Oscar nominated.
This is why, yeah.
This is why we got to go.
Josh, I don't know why it can't be,
but I think Obama, it's like, you know,
those Americanized sushi restaurants where they'll be,
it'll be like crab meat in the middle of the roll,
and then it's wrapped in fresh salmon.
That's what Obama is doing with his children
and dog.
Oh, okay.
Okay, actually,
Spencer has a really good idea here.
He says that the Miss Rachel character,
played by Gina Carrano,
she has an evil dog.
She has a pit bull that she,
like, six on the preschoolers.
No, these people love pit bull.
No, no, Matt Walsh hates pit bulls
because it's just basically like a stand-in
for black people.
Yeah.
Everything he says about,
what wants to say about black people,
he just says about pit bull.
Exactly right, yes.
And he says that they could do
like a Jurassic Park,
Raptors' kitchen scene,
but with a pit bull.
I, no, I think these people,
people, they would be against like the most noble dog, like the antidote all these lazy,
worthless, fake service animals that don't know how to do anything.
Obama's dog, my family's dog.
Oh, the Portuguese water dog.
The most liberal dog.
Like infamous as the most liberal dog.
And that's what Gina Krono had.
No, I think these people love pit bulls.
Matt Walsh, like a broken clock is right twice a dead.
no i don't know you like like pit bulls there like it's whatever but you really should like need to
pass a fucking test to own one there's just too many people who like they they cannot if that dog
went child hungry they could not hold that dog back well everybody knows that pit bulls uh just go
on welfare and uh eat white children yeah they're they're they're they're they're children of every race
and that hurt.
Can I just say that I love coming on the show.
I'm now,
I've never felt like I needed to take a shower before.
But as,
as the parent of a four-year-old,
and I think Chris can back me up here,
it's,
it is,
it is actually a sin to even joke about making Ms.
Rachel the villain of anything.
It's,
she is,
she's the greatest human being,
whoever lived.
And even using her satirically to make a point is,
is,
no,
no, I'm sorry, you guys are, I'm gone, I have to walk away.
No, no, no, no.
I did, like, real shit, Miss Rachel is like Dr.
Jonas Salt to all parents.
Like, she is, she has probably saved so many fucking families.
Like, she really knows what the fuck she is doing.
If you are ever, she teaches my kid knew sign language when he was a year and a half old.
He could tell us he wanted more dinner.
She thought him how to talk about his feelings.
It's crazy.
I'm like, if Ms. Rachel right now said,
Hi folks, you all need to go to Felix Biederman's apartment and kill him.
I'd be like, got to go, we got to go.
I would, no, I would, if that's what she said needed to be done, I mean, it's, you do it yourself, I'm sure.
I've lived a good life.
No, I, like, she's the only bulwark against, like, the tabletization of children.
Yeah.
She's like the only one out there fighting.
God bless her.
I don't know, like, I do not know a single parent who's like, fuck Ms. Rachel.
child. Like that's, no, she really has a magic touch. And that, that is literally one of the dumbest
things I've seen anybody ever do to try to make her the face of something bad. It was like,
are you good? Well, because like, I mean, like, all they can say is like, because like, they're mad at her
because you just says things like, it's wrong to kill children by the thousands. And like, it's our
responsibility. Like, like, as adults, like to shelter the, like, to protect the health and safety
of children everywhere. And like, or at the very least not actively murder them. And they're
like the response to it is just like,
um,
she doesn't talk about October 7th enough.
Or like,
there's just something vaguely wrong with her.
It's like,
what they're mad about is,
she's like,
when she says,
we shouldn't bomb children.
And then they're like,
why are you attacking Jews?
And it's just like, well,
yeah,
she like,
you guys not realize how this looks.
What happened?
She said,
it's right to kill children
by the bus load.
Like,
would they be like,
oh,
okay,
thank you.
Yeah,
she's good.
Once again,
they,
like,
they,
they know what they want to say,
which is like,
we want to,
beloved children's entertainer who says
we should love and protect all children
except for us Muslim
or Palestinian one specifically.
In that case, go Buck Wild, kill all
of them. I don't give a shit. It's great.
It's your duty to do so. But like, that would be
that's insane.
You know, you can have like a children's
entertainer who's just like, they're like, why does you have to be
so political by saying things like
the United States government shouldn't be killing children
and bombing them?
Yeah.
Love her so much.
Love her. Love her. Love her.
Shout out to Miss Rachel.
And shout out to Bluey as well.
I'm interested to learn that this is a work of conservative art that we should be heralding and supporting.
I recently had occasion to watch like four or five episodes of Blue with my niece.
I thought it was a wonderful show.
And I was glad that my niece is watching wholesome family entertainment like Bluey.
Yeah, me too.
Yeah, I consider Blue is like sort of like a Mel Gibson type where I don't maybe love everything.
Like to look the other way.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But it's just like the talent is.
undeniable. And also,
Bluey was also in the movie payback.
They're actually, they go to like the same.
He's one of Greg Henry's like thugs.
Yeah, yeah.
I don't know. I've told Felix
this. I was, right before
the shit went down with Bell, I was meeting
with him to write payback too.
I had a true story.
God. And he was going to team up with
Bluey. That was, yeah.
Yeah, yeah. He's like, I
made this awesome friend in church. It's this
racist dog
but seriously
no paw patrol
paw patrol or cops
yeah that's copaganda
yeah
yeah no
like this really
just to end this
on the internet
Mel Gibson it really makes you
like realize
how special Mel is
and like
much love to all
the truly great
conservative filmmakers
my god Clint Millie is
Mel
Whits telling you that
there's somebody
Yeah, sure.
Most importantly, they are more invested in making good movies than like shoving their views in,
which is true of like any film make, like any,
no matter what they think,
their primary goal is like making something that is good.
Yeah.
Like Mel is, dude, I don't, after I saw fucking payback,
I was like, yeah, well, maybe we do start all the wars in the world.
Mel's a God.
There's no denying him.
shout out to Mel.
Well, like, yeah, in conclusion, I would say, like,
this movie, we're losing recipes.
Like, the cookbook, it's been lost.
It's been lost.
Like, liberal, conservative,
I feel like nobody can make a fucking good action movie anymore.
And, like, the reactionary schlock of yesterday
it ain't coming back.
It's all this pipsqueak nerd like Ben Shapiro.
Bad action, terrible dialogue.
Like, no, there's nothing even, like,
vicariously amusing or funny about this movie.
It's just, like, I wouldn't.
wish it were more evil.
It's just boring.
It's just boring because, like,
what they accuse every liberal of,
which is just like,
why don't they just make a good movie?
Why do they have to push their views down our throat?
Like,
they're literally incapable of not doing that themselves.
Yeah.
Like,
we're losing recipes.
Can I just,
can I point there's still,
I mean,
if I can plug a film,
I have nothing to do with this film.
We just interviewed the director on the show.
But if you have not seen the runner,
not runner with Gallo.
Oh,
no, runner.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
I know.
But there are two movies.
One is called Runner.
Not the Runner with Galgado.
Runner with Alan Rich.
Okay.
No, it's him and Owen Wilson, right?
Perfection.
All right.
Everything you want out of one of those movies.
It's just, it's delightful.
It's like he's, he's divorced.
He's pining over the daughter who died and his marriage fell apart.
And they've got to get this liver to somebody in the back guys who chasing the liver.
And he's just a courier.
And he turns to Owen Wilson.
he goes, who's the liver for?
Owen Wilson goes, an eight-year-old girl,
and now, boom, off and running.
And just everything blows up.
He's just fantastic.
No, I have number one, Alan Rich.
Like, Reacher, Reacher is fucking awesome.
I always.
Felix, did you watch the most recent season of Reacher?
Amazing.
Okay, Felix, Felix, Felix,
when they broke out the caram bits,
I was like, I hope Felix is watching.
watching this.
I,
I was fucking
bricked up
watching it.
They have,
dude,
and they flip it
on its head.
It's so good.
Because Ritcher,
what is his one
actual weakness?
Women who
stitch him up
after he gets beat up
and then he has sex with them.
He loves,
he loves drawing out women.
And you're like,
well,
okay,
we do like,
we could cross out one suspect.
Reacher wrought her out.
Like,
Richard doesn't brawl out,
evil people.
But this time he doesn't,
like,
Richard makes a fucking error.
And it's,
they're playing catch up the entire season,
but Reacher, like, he pulls it out.
He does some of his coolest shit ever.
He does the thing with a door and then an elevator
that is like, what...
Oh, when he goes up the elevator,
hanging off the bottom of it
while holding an oxygen tank
with one hand, with one arm?
I wasn't even...
That was awesome, but I was talking about he basically...
Oh, when he kills that guy with the elevator...
Yeah, I don't even want to spoil.
I don't even want to spoil.
I don't even want to play.
And I like, I love every season of Reacher.
I love the last, what the last season of Reacher.
Richard.
Richard is so much like
McGarticle from the Simpsons
where they have
like the last visit of
Richard where they have like
the weeder kid who's like
Yeah,
you know,
because a henchman finally thought
to get a guy
a thog who's bigger than Reacher
and it kind of fucks
Ritcher up.
And the weeder son
that Ritcher's trying to protect
he's like, are you afraid of him
Weecher?
And Ritcher's like,
no,
I just got to figure him out.
And him figuring him out
means that he kicks him in the nuts,
pokes his eye out,
stabs him.
and drowns him.
And it's like Richard,
that would work on anyone.
Like,
Richard,
you did not spend like a month in the workshop.
But yeah,
I want to see the,
I want to see the chalkboard with the,
yeah.
But how do you top that?
Two,
two ladies with razor blades.
That's how to.
Oh,
my God.
Amazing.
You guys,
have you done it?
I apologize.
You ever want to do reach her,
just have something come on with gosh.
Oh,
absolutely.
By way,
yeah,
with movie mindset,
are you guys tapped into this world?
Just a tip.
you can use this or not, but you do an actual movie show.
You get on these lists and the best ever for, for screeners and shit.
I was a couple months ago.
It was like three months before the new season started coming out.
End of the week, Nathan are fried, really busy.
The entire way, we're just like, oh, I just want to watch something fun.
Email pops up.
Hey, the entire new season of Reacher on the Amazon screen.
You watch it in two days, three months before the first episode,
drop. It is the greatest thing you've got to get out of the list. All right. Can we, yeah, we'll do. We'll
work on it. Can they, can we do something where like it, they make Reacher quicker? I don't
like this waiting a year or more for my Reacher. Right. It needs to be slow horses. Slow horses like
every six weeks. They have another one. Yeah. We need like a new Manhattan project for this country,
but like basically we need to enslave the cast and crew of Reacher so that there is a new episode
every week.
Just no way.
There was a country
in a time
where they used to do
24 episodes
of a TV show
every year.
That's right.
I mean,
obviously there was a whole TV
show about 24 episodes.
Yeah.
Okay.
Who's your guy's favorite?
Reacher always has like,
this is the only season
actually where Reacher doesn't have
a GF for the entire run
of the investigation.
And then he goes back
for five minutes.
Well, yeah,
but geez,
if this one doesn't.
doesn't count.
Like, this is the one time where
Reacher, like, a fucking evil person.
But my favorite season
GF for Reacher is Dixon
because she's good at money.
And that's Reacher's only other weakness
is he's bad at money.
But Dixon's like,
Dixon's kind of ball in.
Dixon, like,
there's a good symbiotic thing with Dixon.
If Reacher was ever to, like,
settle down and, you know,
I hope create some more reachers.
Oh, no, season two.
No.
No, fuck you.
No, dude, Dixon's the best Reacher, GF.
Who does he?
what's name, the great actress in the first season
the cop, do they get together?
I don't remember.
Yeah, they do.
But he's always hit the road.
Yeah, no, that's why I say a season-long
GF.
Like he can,
before he,
he needs to, like, take down the biggest
fent dealer in some, like,
shithole town in Missouri,
and then he's back to being a hobo.
But he always has, like, one girlfriend
for, like, three weeks
until they killed a guy.
But I, out of all those,
Dixon is my favorite.
Dixon is, I think,
the best,
Reacher's
short-term girlfriend.
I think she's great.
I think Reacher didn't realize
what he had there.
I think he's fucked up
but going back on the road so quick.
I swear to me
you'll do a Reacher episode
with a new season starts in a year and a half.
Honestly,
like talking about Reacher,
way funer than talking about
this shitty Daily Water movie.
I'm glad the last 20 minutes
of this episode
was just us remembering things
from Reacher.
And by the way,
Alan Richson,
the woken
the woken guy of all this.
Yeah. Like he is so,
there are literally pictures of him
like wearing those like
listed up a black woman is talking shirts.
Like he's fucking, that's our guy.
Like Alan Richson
one of the greatest woke guys
I was all the time.
He's called Donald Trump a pedophile on TV.
On TV? Yeah.
I do.
I, dude, he's.
I summoned him. Do you know this?
No.
So I was the,
I was the first writer on what became
the Tom Cruise
Reacher film.
Oh, right.
That movie killed my dad.
That movie came out
like months before my dad died
and he was so mad about it.
Like he wouldn't stop.
Oh, is he a Reacher fan?
Yeah, because he was like,
Tom is too short
and then his like his cancer advanced
like three seasons.
He's not funny.
He doesn't have the Bugs money thing.
You know?
And it was just like both.
I love Tom Cruise,
but still.
Tom Cruise Jack Reacher movie.
We've ever heard of Hurtog
is the bad guy?
Come on.
happen. I've never seen it. I love Tom Cruise, but still, you know.
But while I was working on it, the producer and I all, and it was just like, we're doing it for
the studio. It's got to be a star. We were always talking about who is it going to be.
Obviously, and Tom was a passive producer, I think, or maybe, it's like, obviously it's not
to be Tom. And we kept going like, can't we just get somebody who's not like, can't we
stop Sean Connery wasn't anyone. People didn't know who the fucking, why can't we? And every time we
talked, we described down to a T, Alan Ritchson.
I am absolutely convinced that like the producers of that film and I all just with our collective consciousness created him out of the day.
He's your Golem.
Yeah, absolutely.
I take I take full credit for Alan Rixon.
All right.
Well, let's wrap it up.
Let's leave things there for today.
That was a run-hide fight infant.
A new, a daily wire joint.
Thanks to once again to Josh Olson, Josh.
Do you have anything you'd like to plug?
what's coming up next for you?
Yeah, no, we're back.
The movies that made me has been off for a few weeks.
My movie show with Joe Dante because I had a knee replacement surgery,
but we're about to come back with some great guests.
Very, very psych about that.
And yeah, that's amazing.
Oh, and I'm actually going to be on Champaign Sharks.
I think next week talking from a completely different angle
about this new movie that just come out called Run Hide Fight Infidels.
Shout out
Shout out
Shout out tea
and champagne
charts
He's the best
Yeah absolutely
One of the grades
He's got some very
interesting thoughts
on it already
So
Well I cannot wait
To hear that
We do as always
For at least
For the next few weeks
We have our screening

in the description and also over
on the Patreon this week
part one of Felix's monster
exploration of Eldon Ring
will drop this Wednesday morning on the
Players Club. We just got
I have been
totally against like splitting these into
parts but this was so fucking
long like it was
dude just doing the base game
was about like
15 hours of unedited
audio so we had to split it up
between the base game and Shadow the Earth Tree,
or else it would have been like a 23-hour-long episode.
So you'll thank me later that we split this one.
It's a very good episode.
Two more weeks of Players Club,
and then hopefully coming right after that,
we will be spooling up movie mindset again at the beginning of October.
Look for an announcement and schedule for the new season of movie mindset
pretty much directly after Players Club ends.
So that's all over on the Patreon.
That's all I got.
All right.
That does it for us.
Till next time, everybody.
Bye bye.
