This is a special presentation from the Blaze Radio Network.
Welcome to it.
This is Talking Walking Dead, a very special edition of Talking Walking Dead, Saturday Night Dead
with Brad Stags, Jason Butchell, and Sean Foster.
We'd like to thank you for coming along for the ride today.
And just as a, let's have a feel for the podcast of this special presentation.
We'll let you intro, Talking, Walking Dead.
That sounds so good.
I know.
Like stereo.
I know.
Sounds great.
Wow.
We should just stop now.
Did you just stop now?
That was the ringtone.
You can get it from the app and we're good.
Wow, that sounded really good.
All right.
So, why am I sounding like a...
I don't know. That's a good question.
Why am I sounding so hollow?
I don't understand what the hello.
Sounds good now.
There you go.
Now it's much better.
Now we can't hear you at all.
That's much better.
That's much, much better then.
One of the things that, you know, every week on the podcast, talking Walking Dead,
we discuss the specific episode and look to the future.
And since season seven just ended last week, I kind of wanted to get together for a special broadcast
and kind of wrap up the season seven
and also look back at all the talking walking deads
and all the walking dead programs
and kind of get a feel for what the future is going to bring.
And I think the future still looks bright
for at least a couple more seasons,
especially after this last year.
This last year's season was tremendous.
But I remember, it was actually my wife, sadly, said,
you know.
Which one?
The first.
No, the second one.
The second one said to me that one went up on Netflix,
because I didn't watch it in the beginning.
In the beginning, I was like, you know, it was on AMC,
and I figured out was another zombie show.
I didn't get the feel for it.
So it goes up on Netflix, and my wife says,
you know, you ought to watch that.
And I thought, she's usually pretty good about what I would like.
So I remember going upstairs and I said, I watched the first episode.
I didn't come downstairs for the entire weekend.
I mean, I went through every episode.
That was a total walking dead binge.
And I was hooked.
It was only the first season that was?
I think it was the first two.
I remember.
I think that was about the same with me.
I think the first two seasons.
I mean, it just, it was a binge weekend.
Yeah.
There was no question about that.
If you'd like to participate tonight with Brad Staggs, Jason Butchrell, or Sean Foster,
you can do so by Dowling 888-903-33, or on
Twitter, you can tweet with the hashtag
Talking Walking Dead.
Thank you. Thank you.
We're using our own hashtag tonight.
I feel so like grown up.
Huh? This is nice.
I know. It's a little bit better than just that silly old
podcast. I know that's a thing
or whatever that is. You know, that weekly thing we do
that has no time limit. Now we have to follow an actual clock.
Can't cuss either. It's radio. I know. Well, you can.
You can.
You can. Just get in trouble.
You just get your stuff and get it.
out. Oh, I didn't know that. Now I'm suddenly very, very nervous about this coming.
Well, yeah. So what got you hooked, Mr. Butrell? I've always been a big zombie fan. I didn't wait.
Like, I started watching it from the get-go. So season one, episode one, I started watching. And I didn't even know about, I didn't know it was based off of graphic novels.
But then when I found that out, then I got into some of the graphic novels, I didn't read it. I mean, you know, there's that whole comic book nerd thing.
I know.
You know, you can't go full nerd.
What's?
Wow.
And I figured comics was going that, but now I have read.
So I was going to say, so now you've read them all.
I've gone full nerd.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, now I have.
But so, yeah, I started watching it.
But it wasn't your typical zombie flick.
And that's what kept me watching it.
Like, if it was any, your regular, like, I don't know, like, what's the name of that?
Night of the Living Dead?
Yeah, who does those?
What's his name?
Gosh, what's his name?
Bruce Campbell?
No.
I can't remember his name.
But that guy that does all the zombie movies.
It wasn't your typical zombie movie like that.
It wasn't just for the gore, the crazy scene where the guy splits open a zombie.
Although they added some of that.
But it was more of when you started to see that the Walking Dead was not even actually about the walkers.
The Walking Dead were the people.
And so that's kind of when I got hooked.
And the storytelling was just amazing.
Yeah.
That's what most people don't.
People who are not fans of the show don't understand.
It's not a show about zombies.
Yeah.
It's a show about what you would do.
take the zombies out and put any other apocalyptic element in there.
It's about what people do when they're faced with what seems like no hope.
And they've gone to the point where they actually have taken the zombies out of the show now.
It's getting to that point where we don't really know there's zombies around anymore.
It's all about the characters.
The walkers have become second nature.
There's no question about that.
Yeah, yeah.
There's those walkers too.
We have to take care of it.
I mean, they've learned how to hurt them up and use them to your advantage if you can.
But that kind of worries me, though, as far as like,
Like, you can only, like, can you, is there, is it possible to find a better bad guy than Negan?
Is it possible?
Oh, yeah.
I mean, I think so.
So the next, I won't spoil that too far, but the next, the next round of bad guys, they're pretty bad.
But I still don't think they've taught Negan.
So, like, they can only do that so many times.
Like, I don't know.
I just, it worries me about the future.
I don't know.
Kirkman's awesome, and he might be able to pull it off.
But.
They say they've planned for, what, 12?
13 seasons?
Yeah, 12 to 13 seasons.
Oh, my gosh.
I believe.
And what are the...
Then AMC will pick up?
They're not...
No, AMC has not picked it up.
As long as they continue getting numbers,
and as long as they're advertisers
and there's too many commercials
when you guys watch the show,
they'll keep it on.
That's an excellent point.
So did you start from the beginning?
Yes, I started from the beginning.
Really?
AMC, show one.
Yep.
And it just, it's the same thing that hooked me.
It's the zombies and the characters
and just knowing that,
where is this going to go?
Like Jason said,
It's not something where it's a typical zombie show.
It just took it a different direction, and the character build was awesome.
And, you know, going off of that, I normally my wife would not watch stuff like this.
I've tried to get her into it.
She'll actually suffer through maybe a couple of these, which normally, that's going way beyond what she normally would.
But just in saying that, I mean, you think about how many people this show has converted,
that normally wouldn't watch this type of show.
Like, tons of people.
Like, even the people that watch this show won't watch some of those other zombie movies out there.
Right.
But that's huge for what they've accomplished.
But then they have episodes like the first one of this season that filter out the riffraff.
Because a lot of people.
Yeah, the first one is season seven.
And we'll get to that.
I don't want it.
Spoilers.
For those of you concerned, I know.
We're doing Facebook Lives also at the top of each hour here on our Saturday night,
Talking Walking Dead special Saturday night.
I'll wear a very nice t-shirts.
And we are.
We are wearing very nice T-shirts.
And that's what we're here for.
Actually, we're here to Hawk T-T-shirts.
Go to jeffy-F-F-Y-F-F-Y-S-H-H-E.
and buy a t-shirt.
Now the Talking Walking Dead, white or black.
Or else we won't like you anymore.
And that's all we're here for.
It's just buy a T-shirt.
If you buy a T-shirt, we'll put you on the air.
You buy a T-shirt and you call 888-9-0-33-93 and we'll put you on the air.
No problem.
Piece of cake.
You know, I was actually opposite for myself.
You know, I watched it.
My wife was like the one that said, you know, you probably need to watch this.
Scary how well she does you.
And then, I know.
And then after, I think, three or four, she was gone.
All right, I haven't know.
And so...
She wasn't a real fan.
I was all alone.
George Romero.
Yes.
Rocky with an eye.
Also, if you guys want to tweet, hashtag talking walking dead.
But Rocky with an eye, at Rocky with an eye, said it is George Romero.
So thanks at Rocky with an eye.
I think George Romero just recently died, didn't he?
Oh, no.
So he could be a...
I think you're right.
He could now be a walker, officially.
Well, he's, according to this, he's 77 years of age and alive and doing well.
So I'm just saying it comes as a...
It was Don Rickles that just died.
George Romero.
Don Rickles.
What's the difference?
What's the difference?
Did you apologize to George?
Because George was like, no.
George, sorry about that one time at the party where I spilled that thing.
It was, that was, oh, not that apology?
Oh, sorry.
Different apology.
No, yeah, a different apology.
Jeffie, at Steve Brian O'1 wants to know
how do I win one of these awesome t-shirts?
Well, we'll figure that out as the evening goes on.
I haven't figured out just exactly what task
I'm going to make you do to win a shirt.
But we'll just leave it at that.
There will be a task that you must do
to win one of these shirts.
I'm just not giving these away higgly-piggly.
No.
These shirts are worth something.
Yes, we can make money on them.
Talking Walking Dead t-shirts.
Yeah.
And it looks as though the blood is.
real on him too. I'll have you know.
It's not real blood, though. You don't have
to... It's not real blood. It looks
very, but it's not.
Scared me at first.
All right, so we'll
take a break, and we'll come back, and we'll
continue with our special Talking Walking Dead
broadcast Saturday Night, Dad. This is
Talking Walking Dead on the Blaze Radio Network.

1 888-903-3-3-93 as the Blaze Radio Network goes live this Saturday, special Talking, Walking Dead.
Myself, Jeff Fisher, Brad Stags, Jason Butchell, Sean Foster, and that's it.
We're just talking walking dead, baby.
You can usually hear the podcast weekly if you go to the blaze.com slash radio under the Jeff Fisher Radio program.
You can even see it on your channel on the place.
That's right.
We have been doing the vidcast, and I believe they're all finally up.
After a little.
It doesn't get much better than actually viewing.
Well, if your computer spit $20 bills at you while you were watching it, that would be better.
Yes, it would.
But short of that.
Let's go to Chuck.
Chuck calling on our 888-9033-93 line.
Chuck in Florida, how are you, sir?
Greetings, talking walkers.
How is everybody tonight?
Fantastic.
What's up?
I have a note here that you worked on.
The Tiger, is that right?
Well, I didn't work on the Tiger.
Actually, I had some insider info on the set and how that all came together, but I'm pretty
sure there's a hashtag out there.
I'm going to retweet it later from a woman who was very, very concerned about the actor's
safety in working with the tiger.
Apparently, there was rumors that she had found out people had actually died on the set
when they were making that episode.
They let the cat out of the bag.
It was very terrible.
Thank you. Be here all week.
Right.
No, I promise you this woman was deadly sincere from the notes that I read.
However, you know, it could have been one of those fake news stories.
What?
Well, they do have the own.
In all seriousness, I want to give a shout out to all the people on the set that worked in Florida this year.
There was some actual Florida participation in a lot of the episodes, friends and colleagues that I've worked with on other
movie sets that got to be
walkers and we even had a
little walking in a viewing party
yeah. Jeffie, you were in the wrong place
at the wrong time. I
told him and told him every
time I tweeted out Jeffie, you got to get
your butt back to Florida so we can make you a walker.
That
pisses me off.
I'm sorry, I'm sorry,
that upsets me. But
that's okay. AMC, that's fine.
Don't worry about it. AMC is
missing out. You know, they're filming in Mexico
now for the
what is that second?
Yeah, the fear.
Yeah, the fear of Walking Dead is actually
filming in Mexico, and
you know, I understand they've got some
new stuff coming up this season
that kind of more brutal,
so we'll see.
Bruttle good or brutal bad?
Because last year was brutal
and it was about the bad side.
So I am a little concerned that
while fear is
a little bit earlier
in the apocalypse world,
so there will be more, you know,
overweight walkers.
I'd have to think twice
about possibly becoming a walker on fear,
because I think there should still be,
you know, there's a couple of overweight people still.
Still, what's his name?
The King's partner?
Oh, yeah, Jason, right?
Is it Jared, Jeff, what is this guy?
Oh, Jerry.
Jerry. Jerry.
It pleases him indeed.
Jerry.
Best line of the season
Like a third tier character
So great
Oh Jerry is not a third
Jerry is moving up
He's at least a second tier
It leads second now
Yeah I mean even with even with
That even with what line
It pleases him indeed
With the king just continuing to
Jerry where's Jerry
He's always Jerry
Jerry's in the back joking around
With somebody Jerry
Eat and hobbler
do it. The most random stuff like that.
Put the cobbler down.
Sorry, boss.
By the way, guys, I am a proud
owner of a talking walking
dead t-shirt. As soon as I receive
it in the mail, it's been delayed.
But I'm assured that I will get
my talking walking dead t-shirt and wear it
proudly. There must have been
some weather damage or something that happened
to the shipping. Hurricane.
Tornado. Sharknato.
Earthquake.
Sharknato.
Earthquake, something.
All right, thanks, Chuck. Appreciate it.
Thanks, guys. Have a great one.
Love your show.
Andy in Missouri.
Andy, you are on the Blaze Radio Networks talking, walking dead.
How are you, sir?
Gentlemen, I am excited to be on the phone with y'all.
Thank you.
We're excited right back at you.
Big time, big time fans of the show, following it day one.
I have a question because I do not follow the comic books at all, never read one, never looked at one.
Did they, was Jesus gay in the comic books, or was that something they did to appease the masses?
I think
recently.
According to my expert
in the other room,
he was.
Our head researcher.
Our head researcher
from the graphic novels.
I believe he was.
He was.
Okay.
Yes, he was gay in the comics.
And that's our,
that's our researcher right there.
Andy,
I didn't realize that we were going to let him speak.
Yeah.
And I'll be real with you, my wife was pretty
upset when she found that out,
because I think she has,
I think she's been shipping with,
Jesus for a while in the sense of that's her man crush and man whenever she found that out
like that was worth in any death it's been on the show but it is it is the apocalypse basically so he
could flip it anytime right and and I'll be real you can't be choosing the apocalypse story for
different time I'm glad you all could figure that out for me though that's killing me and
God knows I'm not reading all the comic books to figure that out I yeah you don't want to get caught
out man thank you next I'm gonna say he's a Democrat
So, you know, Jason, you were talking about how you then became a geek out and went to the comic books and the graphic novels.
Our head researcher, who I'm joking around about, is my youngest son who's, I got to know how old he is.
He's 27.
Is that a really?
Yeah.
You should kick him out of the house, but that's my other kid.
No, he's, he's 46.
All right.
Man, I got to kick this one out.
Time is going by faster than you think.
You aren't lying.
So anyway, he's been.
He's been on me forever to watch The Walking Dead, and I have said no.
And so then he decided to go behind my back, and he's read all the comic books now,
all the, he's up-to-date, bypass television.
So he's like, so what's happening in the television show now?
So what's happening in the television show now?
Because I know what's happened in the comic books, want me to tell you.
Which is surprising since you usually have such uttering complete control over your offspring.
Right?
I know.
It amazes me that he is.
Well, me too, Brad, and I'm hurt.
I can understand that.
One of the amazing things, actually, about the comics
and what they've been trying to do in the show
is they've been doing, like, specific, like, call-outs to the comics.
Like, some of the scenes are directly taken from the comics,
which is really cool.
Like, the lineups, I think both lineups,
taking directly out of the comic books.
The original one were, oh, gosh, now I'm blanking on his name.
Good guy.
Gosh, Maggie's husband.
Glenn.
Good gosh.
When Glenn got hit,
exactly, with his eye coming out and everything,
exactly taken from the comics.
But there's plenty of characters that are really different.
Yeah, they're different, but sometimes, even still,
like, there's a scene in the season finale when they had Mishone.
I think that was actually Andrea.
Yes, in the novels.
So, yeah, so it's very specific, like they...
According to my expert, that's correct.
He gives it a thumbs up.
I think there are just such dramatic peaks in the story arc in the comics that they couldn't veer from those, like the Glenn eyeball thing.
I mean, that is such an iconic piece or a part of the puzzle from the comics.
You couldn't really veer from that because I think it would have spoiled the flavor.
I think you're absolutely right.
Brad, I agree with you.
Did I say something?
100%?
You did.
Yes.
You did.
I'm going home now.
Fantastic.
Carl's eye.
scooby snack
Carl's eye
Sean just brought up
on his computer
that was also
taken directly
from the comics
right
oh you know what
they left out
which I'm glad they did
I think you
I know what you're gonna say
Rick's hands
yes yes
so glad they left that out
didn't so are they
said that was a mistake
he did
but I think they
they opted for that
I believe in the beginning
because they thought
it would be
too much of a hassle
to shoot around
and make it happen
with only one hand
like the CGI
Tiger
yeah or Herschel's leg
maybe that's what
they did in, but was Herschel in the comics?
He was in the, did he lose
his leg in the comics?
Ah, so that's what they did.
Yeah, leg for an arm.
This is a special talking, walking dead
on the Blaze Radio Network.
888-90-33-93.
It is presidential.
It's for the king, and it pleases him, I believe.
Indeed.
888-90-33-93 on the Blaze Radio
Network.
listening to a special presentation from the Blaze Radio Network.
Welcome back to Talking Walking Dead. It is a special tonight. We are all special.
And so are you. Thank you very much. I wasn't fishing, but I'll take that as a compliment.
The details. Yeah. You can participate in the broadcast. 888-90-33 is the phone number.
And we also can participate. And you can participate as well on the Twitter.
And the Twitter would be hashtag Talking Walking Dead. And I'm told there's some participatory.
in the hashtag talking walking dead department.
Chrissy at Chrissy MC 1211 has a question.
Question.
Who is each of your favorite character and why?
We were just talking about that off the year too.
That's so funny.
Why don't you leave with that, Sean?
My favorite character for the season is Negan right now.
I think I'm just watching his character arc.
I wrote down just like sign of him killing Daryl, I mean killing Glenn and Abraham,
him sitting down with Carl.
at the dinner table.
Him even talking to Kahn just saying that, Carl, you know,
you're a little psychotic like me, I like you.
It's just...
A little future serial killer.
Yeah, he's just an interesting character right now,
and I just really like the way direction they're bringing him in.
Overall?
Overall.
Yeah, we've got Negan this season.
Overall?
I think Mishone.
Just the way you introduced it.
Just the way they introduce her from the comics,
and even in the show.
It's because her hair is like yours, isn't it?
I'm completely not like mine, but I'm just going to...
That's exactly like you.
I guess I'll be the token and I'll, yes, yes.
She has great hair like mine.
Except she's wearing a wig.
I knew it.
I knew it.
It was really cool how they did bring her in.
No question.
She has a katana.
Like, you cannot, I mean, it's great.
And the way she bought her character and just the whole walking around with the zombies,
I think when the character was introduced, you're like,
Holy cow, who is this?
With the slaves and stuff.
Yeah, she was great.
Which I think is part of the reason why she and Rick have no chemistry, actually.
She's two alpha.
She's very, very alpha character.
Rick is a very alpha character.
I just don't think two alphas.
Because if you look at Sasha and Abraham, great chemistry.
Totally great chemistry.
So it's not a black-white thing.
It is a...
I wasn't going to say black or white thing.
I don't have to go to that.
saw it in your eyes, you were about to bring it up.
It always comes back.
Black and the white.
Always, always comes back to that.
Why do you hate me?
Sasha's kind of an alpha as well, though.
Well, first of all, most of the people, look.
If you're around your alpha.
Yeah, if you're a survivor.
Unless you came from Alexandria.
You're some kind of, you are some kind of quasi-alpha, human being,
to have survived into the seventh season.
Or you have a really good agent.
Or you have a really good agent.
really good agent and and you know like Daryl for instance who has a really good
agent because he's not even in the comic books a really really gonna create a
character and then he's gonna make it so darn good you're not gonna be able to
get rid of him and speaking of that he's got to be my favorite character besides
Rick because that's just an easy one but Daryl has been one of the reasons to
watch and and that's probably why he's so safe I mean there's really only two
untouchables that you know we're not going to die that they really cannot
mess with and that's Carl and that's Rick Coral
Can not be can know you can't you can't go there's only so far you go with coral and there's only so far you can go with Rick
But Darrell he could be killed at any point he really could because he's not supposed to exist but they can't because you can imagine the millions of people that would be pissed off right
But he's such an awesome is his character development from the very beginning to like this this like bigoted you know like old boy you know good old boy
To this really like you know deep and thought out character and also a total bad a I mean
And notice how I did that?
I didn't know how far I can push this.
I was playing it very much.
Bade is fine.
Sounds French almost.
Who's a good little boy you are?
I really don't know who.
I really don't know who my favorite character is.
I want to, like you say, Rick is easy.
But he's ticked me.
They made me so mad at his character this year.
I mean, just so frustrated with his character this year.
this whole season. And not only this year
in the prison. Remember that whole season?
Oh yeah, we went crazy talking
on the phone?
Oh my gosh. Wanted to be a pig farmer?
Oh.
Garden in.
He was gardening.
What am I? I forgot about that too.
Holy cow.
That's why I'm the show.
If we go back to
that's actually a pretty good point.
I can bring it back to that.
It reminds me. But if you go back to the earlier
episodes now, we were just looking at some of
the earlier episodes and how
fast they are, how fast they went.
Like, this season was, what, 16
16 episodes. And the
first season was, what, six or eight?
Six episodes. Six episodes.
So you felt like the binge on Netflix
wasn't that long. I was like, oh,
season one's over? Season two was 13.
Yeah, see, they started to realize that
they had something. And then from there on, it was
16. They were averaging around 12 to
13 million viewers per episode.
Yeah. That's insane.
In today's world, that's great.
Good gosh. But they were saying, you know,
Obviously, I think some of the last episodes were 10.
Well, and we'll get to the ratings thing coming up later.
They're going to break them down for us.
Well, they did.
I mean, it's pretty amazing what they've been able to do.
We didn't get them down for us next hour.
We didn't get your favorite.
Jeffie?
Yeah, you didn't.
Who was your favorite?
I don't know.
I don't know.
Everyone that I really liked is already dead.
I'm really disappointed on that.
There was some cool.
characters that were dead.
He liked Tea Dog.
Tea Dog was cool.
Tea Dog was underdeveloped.
Right?
Totally underdeveloped.
As in he was short?
No.
He may have been short.
But he was just an underdeveloped character
because he died in season two, right?
Seriously, are you drinking?
Wow.
I'm starting to smell it on his breath.
He was just an underdeveloped.
I mean, he never really had a chance to blossom, as it were.
I'm sure he felt that way, too, when you talk to him.
As soon as the paycheck stopped coming, yes, I guarantee you.
He thought, God, gone it.
They didn't only just overdeveloped my character a little bit more.
So are you going with T-Dogs your favorite?
No.
So who is it?
No. I'll stick.
Oh, wow.
Stumped.
I wish you guys could.
see Jeffey's face right now. I can't
I can't decide. Good gosh.
I think it's Negan.
Wow. Okay. That's so easy.
I thought you had more depth than that.
Okay, too, Doug.
You happy?
You're happy now? Much better.
All right, thank you.
Much better.
It is a tough one.
888-90333 is the phone number if you'd like to participate.
They're listening to a special Talking Walking Dead on the
Blaze Radio Network. Saturday night,
Dead.
Talking Walking Dead, that is.
Brad Stags, Jason Butchell, Sean Foster here.
You normally hear us on the podcast
that you can download every week
after Walking Dead episode
posted on Monday evening,
and we decided, you know what, season seven is over.
We've lasted seven seasons,
and the podcast has been going,
what, four, anyway,
four seasons, something like that.
And I just wanted to, you know, have a little fun
on a Saturday night on the Blaze Radio Network,
a little fun and frivolity.
And, you know, it's something that would, you know, make T-Dog happy.
Exactly.
And now this is it.
This is it.
We haven't given away the T-shirt.
I have an idea for the T-shirt, by the way.
You want to talk it out on the air?
There are multiple people asking about how they can win a prize.
Well, I think that if we, something like how far it is from X to Y, the first person that treats that, you know, first one that we see, anyway, that distance.
I'll tell you what.
Dial 888-90-9-0-33.
Get on the phone and dial in.
All right.
Get on hold.
And then I'll ask a question.
And we'll go through the phone callers.
Until somebody Googles the right answer.
Until someone Googles the right answer.
Yep.
That's funny.
But I know.
It's okay.
You know, back at the old radio.
There wasn't Google.
You know how long it took to get to the Encyclopedia Britannica on the shelf?
Open it up, flip through the pages, find the end.
answer. And still be on the air? And still be on the air. Because the cord only stretched so far.
Right. You had to set the phone down while the host was talking. Times are a change in.
Big time. Who is yours, Brett? You were about to say. I'm with you, Daryl, because he is. He is. He is. He is. He is the
quintessential just, he's the guy you want to be behind in any fight. He sure is. Yeah, he is. You're in a bar fight? You want Daryl next to you. He says loyal. He knows how to fight. I mean, he's
He's sensitive?
He was raised.
You saw where he was raised.
I mean, he was raised by the damn drug dealer brothers and drug dads.
And he overcame all of that.
And they,
and during the,
when the apocalypse came,
he made him realize,
I'm actually worth something.
It's a pretty good character.
Yeah.
It's a pretty darn good character.
You're right.
So thanks for stealing my thunder before I actually.
No,
you're right, though.
That, Daryl is.
He's no tea dog,
but he's close.
I mean,
no one is tea dog.
except for teed dog let's be clear uh we're reading tweets uh the hashtag hashtag
hashtag talking walking dead just sent to chamberlain at j j chamberlain says let's talk about jadis
and her lie with him after comment and michone's face afterwards we can talk about jadis i was
kind of saving uh uh season seven for the last hour we get in depth on season seven but
if you uh i mean tell you well let's take a break uh here on the
Blaze Radio Network because if I get started on
Jadis, then it's going to take us down a whole other road
that I don't necessarily want to go down
yet. And so you can hashtag it at
Talking Walking Dead. We will get to the Jadis
question and her betrayal
of our
group, which it was.
What do you think she smells like?
She's a garbage pale kid.
You think she smells like.
Oh, this is a good one. Rock with an eye
says my favorite character is Carol.
Rock with an eye.
She's come the farthest from Meek, Beaton Wyatt to Total Bad A.
I completely agree.
Carol is one of my favorite.
Carol is really good.
Carol's a strong character.
But they did the same thing to Carol
that they did with Rick.
Yep. Yep.
And I don't understand it.
I just don't.
And they didn't do it.
They haven't done it with Daryl.
They tried a couple of times with his little,
you know, go off the beaten path,
burn the house down episodes.
Oh yeah, with
With what's her face, yeah, Beth.
And they tried that a little,
but it didn't, they didn't go at it any farther,
but they sure went a long way with Carol and Rick
going down that crazy, got to get away.
But in defense of that,
although Carol did have the abusive husband,
Rick spent his whole life trying to keep law and order
and be on one side of the thin blue line, essentially,
and then the whole world just flips upside down.
So, I don't know, it seems justified that he would have those meltdowns.
Rick?
Yeah.
Yeah, well, Rick, I think Rick would be completely different if he didn't have old coral.
Coral.
If he didn't have coral, then I think he would be completely the Rick that we actually love.
Essentially PTSD, what he had, I mean, I would think.
Yeah, well, I think he's dialing it back because he doesn't want Rick, basically,
He doesn't want Carl to turn into, you know, Negan.
No.
Or the governor.
Too late.
Or the governor.
Too late.
Right.
But.
888-90-3033 is the phone number.
If you'd like to participate, we'll be right back after this on the Blaze Radio Network.
Talking Walk.
The Blaze Radio Network.
That's a good question.
Welcome to a Talking Walking Dead on the Blaze Radio Network.
Boy, we're continuing the conversation even through the breaks.
It's so fascinating.
so many questions. You can tweet us hashtag Talking Walking Dead. We're communicating with people there.
We're communicating with people over the telephone. 1-888-90-33. Bradstags, Jason Butchall,
Sean Foster, and myself, Jeff Fisher. Special Saturday Night Dead, Talking Walking Dead on the Blaze Radio Network.
We have a question from our hashtag Talking Walking Dead.
Matthew Vermillion says, was Rick and Michone together in the comics? Hashtad Talking Walking Dead.
Now, Matt is playing nicely in the sandbox because he tweeted with the hashtag,
and then we look over at the phone screen.
There he is.
Oh, my gosh.
Playing both ways.
Matt in Oklahoma, welcome to the broadcast.
How are you, sir?
I am doing great.
How about yourself?
Very good.
Thanks for playing nicely in the sandbox with the other kids.
Hashtagging that music, the phone.
No better way to spend a Saturday night.
That's right.
Exactly.
What's your question, sir?
So the question was, is Michone and Rick really together in the comics, and not just on the show?
Like you say, I think they've tried to force them two together, but kind of a weird chemistry.
It is a very weird chemistry, and you are absolutely right, Matt, about that.
I mean, at least for all of us here, the chemistry has been forced upon us, and it just doesn't feel good.
Let's go to our researcher, head researcher, and investigator to the comic books and the graphic novels in the other room.
Michone and Rick are they together in the comic books?
They are not.
Mishon and Bebebebeh.
Mishone is with Ezekiel in the comics
and Rick is with Andrea
who is still alive in the comics.
Wow, that's good.
They have the same hair.
So there you go. That's a strong question.
Now, Matt, since you've played nicely in the sandbox
and you've hashtagged us and you've phoned us,
Brad Staggs has a question for you.
If you can answer this question, you are going to win a t-shirt, a Talking Walking Dead t-shirt.
You ready?
Here's the question.
What distance in miles is it from Atlanta to Washington, D.C.?
Oh, my gosh.
Come on, this is an easy one.
That's where they traveled.
Yeah.
They traveled from Atlanta to Washington, D.C.
Does he have to mail it exactly?
And when Matt says he's thinking, it means he's.
thinking, it means he's Googling as quickly
if he's possible to can. I'm really thinking
about the mileage. The price is right
numbers, too. Are you typing? Are you able to get to Google?
Throw something out there.
I don't know a estimate. I'm not going to guess them at 500 miles.
The price is right. That's not bad, though. He's within
150.
I say we give it to him.
Hey! Within 150?
Well, yeah, why not? Besides,
there's the music. We're out of time.
Congratulations, man. You've wanted.
T-shirt, a Talking Walking Dead T-shirt.
