that that's not Talking Fears soundtrack.
I don't know that they have one.
So that just gets me in the mood to talk a little Walking Dead and Talking Fear.
So welcome to Talking Fear on the Blaze Radio Network, Jeff Fisher, Brad Staggs,
Sean Foster, Jason Botrell, joining us on the podcast.
Thanks for joining us.
We signed a little contract when you were looking.
All right, I see what's going on there.
Welcome to the broadcast.
All right, so, who, man, we started this episode.
We have no Daniel, no strand through the whole entire episode.
No update.
What was that all about?
I don't know.
It was kind of strange.
It was slow.
It was all on the ranch.
Yeah.
But I've had a revelation that I'm going to let, I'll let the cat out of the bag.
So everyone was watching it over my shoulder.
And she's like, what are you doing?
I'm like watching fear.
It's like, is it good?
I was like, just watch it's getting better.
sat there on the couch and she said
this is bad I'm like
it's a slow episode
and she had never seen one before
she's never seen one before so she just walked in like
wow okay this is the episode you get I'm like it's
you know she knows this walking dead
the same genre and she's like this is
this is slow I'm like that's interesting
I wouldn't think so are you not in the kitchen
making me food
but that's another subject too
why are you watching my show
woman go make me some breakfast
thank you I mean if you need me to come by
and straighten that I don't know
We might need a lesson or two.
I like Dayton, Callie, a whole lot better when he was on Sons of Anarchy.
Yeah, he's better.
Yeah.
Yeah, so he's better on The Ranch.
So was Miranda better on Sons of Anarchy, but we're not going to go down that road.
Wait a minute.
Who else was on there?
Madison.
Madison?
She was on Sons of Anarchy?
Yeah.
She was like a madam.
She was the madame.
Oh, that's right.
She wasn't.
She was kind of sexy in that show.
She's not sexy in this show.
She's definitely not sexy in the show.
I can't.
Is it still a problem that I want her dead?
I want her dead too at this episode.
Like that whole, it's not a problem.
This is right at the end,
but the whole speech at the ranch walking in,
it was just like, I don't believe you.
You're not believable.
Right.
What wasn't not believable at all?
And also, why didn't she do that from the very beginning?
Like that guy came up,
there was a whole public display
where the guy, the founder, came up and said,
hey, I'm leaving.
Right then, you're the only one
that has experienced the outside world.
You could have made him stay at that point.
I kept waiting for that.
I was like, why did?
She could have said, look, it's, it's Darwinian society literally out there right now.
If they would have believed her.
Of course, it was being the co-founder of the ranch, the guy, what's his name, Vernon?
The guy who left was Vernon, right?
Oh.
Vernon and Mike.
Vernon was the older guy.
Yeah, Mike was the son.
Yeah, Mike was the son.
Okay.
So being co-founders of this whole thing of the survivalist ranch, they're stupid enough to leave.
And why did you start their survival?
RANCH if everything was all hookupacet.
Then you got scared and run.
Yeah.
For the apocalypse.
The apocalypse happens,
then you leave.
The Indians set little bonfires all around our ranch.
I have to leave now.
Okay, did you also notice that the ranch is in a valley?
Yeah.
The worst strategic position for a survivalist.
You've got hills all right.
That's a good point.
Everybody's got the drop on it.
The Indians should know.
Go ahead.
Just let them die down the valley.
The first thing I thought is like, all those fires are up.
Oh, great.
They're in a valley.
I don't think they ever revealed that before, did they?
I don't think so because that's the first time I've noticed.
And they revealed more parts of the ranch that I'd never seen before.
Like, it literally looks like a conglomeration of just a bunch of tents and RVs.
Which before they were making it look like it was all built-up structures and stuff.
Yeah, but it's not.
And who else when they drove out the front gate went, they're going to find that RV burned out with dead bodies on it in 10 minutes.
After the military talk, you knew it was going to have right.
I didn't.
So who do you think killed them, though?
Troy.
He said it.
Troy did.
He said it.
Yeah,
he admitted to it at the end of the episode.
I missed that because I saw the tweet that said he killed it and I thought,
what did he do that?
He said,
I didn't meet.
I didn't go out there to do that.
Oh, okay.
Yeah.
Then they said mean stuff.
Yeah.
He's like a baby.
Like,
he's a psychopath.
Yeah.
Why Madison is putting her eggs in his basket?
I don't know.
There were a couple of great lines,
though,
in the episode from our,
from our main founder.
His rant on the Indians was great,
where he, then he went after Madison with her liberal bias.
That was my favorite line.
I was like, oh.
I could feel it's palpable.
Yeah, your liberal judgment or something like that.
It was fantastic.
I know the next line you're going to say.
What was the other line?
The fantastic was when the one founder who left,
after he was whining at the picnic tables in 30 years,
he goes, yeah, he wasn't always like that.
Some men have kids.
They turn into women.
That was great.
The other line I picked up on was a bunch of crazy libertarians.
They don't take orders.
Yeah, yeah.
Agenda much?
I know.
I know.
I'm really bad.
Well, really bad.
Total agenda, but the writing is a little bit better.
You know, like before you couldn't pick out lines that were good.
Right.
Walking dead, you could all the time.
It all goes back to.
It's comedy.
At least it's, yeah.
It's comedy.
Yeah.
I'm almost.
with you. We had the same, okay, so the Indians take away their weapons, they take away their
stuff, they take away their boots. Cowboys versus Indians. And they then, so then they figure last week,
they showed them leaving with no shoes because that's what the Indians wanted. They'd walk
away with no shoes. But then we were now away from the, the tribe, the Indian tribe.
And we're still walking without bare feet or socks. They have jackets on. I mean, I'm an
I would die.
I would die out there, okay?
I know that.
I know that.
My wife would at least try to keep me alive for maybe a day, maybe half a day.
Now he's dragging us down and shoot him.
I get it.
But at least I would say, you know, if I cut the sleeve off my jacket, it would be a boot and cover up my foot.
She had on socks because the son and daughter pulled them off of her.
So what?
Socks.
They're not going to do anything.
You're still going to cut your feet.
There was nothing on the road from that place back to the camp that they could.
have put on their feet nothing something you could have someone had to have a knife
okay let's let's I'll get in the benefit of the doubt they didn't have a knife
so they couldn't cut a tire tread we don't flip-flops okay okay and then how many
how many times if we kind of chuckled to ourselves in the old China movies the
old Chinese movies where the the people were wearing wooden block shoes
there's not a stick somewhere yeah it's like okay you people are that stupid you
don't know how to protect your feet on the way back.
Come on, no.
It's all for the drama.
You saw how hurt they came back?
Right.
They looked so beat down and disheveled.
That shows so bad.
But who was just saying, who was it, are you, Brad?
They were just saying why she's throwing her, Madison's throwing all over, all of her.
Into Troy.
Yeah.
You could be the leader.
There's, because they're so setting that up.
Because Alicia wants the other dude.
Exactly.
It's Alicia versus Madison.
But you know what's, because they, we've said this before.
they do a horrible job of
they're just way too overt in what they're setting up.
You know that Jake is going to get a horrible
horrible death. Right as Alicia's
remember when she finally smiled
and was like, oh, maybe things can be great, you know,
after she jumped into the water. The dad's going to die.
The dad's going to be the first one to die. He's going to die
at the midseason finale. Like his character is dead.
So he's going to be gone. Jake is going to get
killed or tortured and Alicia's
going to see it. So Alicia's going to be destroyed
and she's going to be back to, you know, life is horrible
and blah, blah. But then you're going to have Troy
the psychotic. You know, the future
Negan-esque type guy who's going to become the leader.
That's just going to happen.
He's going to die.
All right.
Then it's going to be, yeah, Madison's group against Troy, like this.
Oh, gosh.
Let me read you something.
I just can't take Madison.
She's just not believable.
She's not believable.
That speech, I want.
Jeremiah.
I get what they're doing.
Jeremiah.
She's not believable, and I want her to die.
Jeremiah heads to the mountains to live in isolation,
woefully unequipped for the task at hand.
He's fortunate to come across a seasoned mountain man.
willing to teach him necessary survival tactics.
As life continues in the mountains,
he finds himself a native bride and an adopted native son.
However,
their peaceful existence is threatened when Johnson incurs the ire of the Crow Indians.
What is this?
That is the plot of Jeremiah Johnson.
Oh!
Which is the plot of Fear the Walking Dead.
They stole the plot from the 1972.
Because I kept thinking, Jeremiah, where have I heard that name?
Jeremiah Johnson.
He married an Indian.
He was a survivalist who went in, yes, lived in isolation.
No, this one did.
He didn't.
But they didn't take every plot point, but that's basically what happened.
And then they incur the wrath of the Indian.
So what you don't understand is that is the same but different.
It's the same.
They have exactly covered that plot line, you know, except for the ones they didn't.
Oh, wait until.
Do we know who is why?
wife is if she's an Indian I'm gonna come back and say I told you so she had blonde hair I
believe right she did the first that was the second one that's the same we don't know about
the first one right yeah it's impossible and he's drinking again Jeremiah John it's a good movie
yeah yeah great but why would he do that they've I you know like we go back to what we we talked
about a little bit before is that they came to this right they developed he even said last
night we we hatched our plan in this cabin to make this surviving
So it obviously they did it just for money and didn't and didn't care about really
surviving but they have everything that you need to survive. Yeah. And they've been years
preparing for this and then once an Indian lights a little fire up on a hill we're going to run.
Yeah. Yeah. Stop. What did he think survive? What did he think they were surviving from or against?
Right. Yeah. It's a weird. It's weird the way he's losing his grip and just. I don't I don't quite
get the whole him losing his grip.
This is where he would be the strongest.
I mean, he had an arsenal of weapons.
Like, we go to Walken Dead and you see Rick, right there's scrounger for like just one
gun.
This guy has a base, a bunker full of weapons.
That's like insane artillery.
Like, you cannot be like, I mean, they're still practice.
That's still target shooting, wasting bullets.
Did you notice that Nick put a roof on the house?
Yeah.
Yeah, that's what he went to the thing for, right?
The drywall and nails and stuff.
But who helped him?
He did himself.
Is Jeremiah helping him still?
Right.
So two guys put that roof.
It would take three or four guys to put that roof on.
Not if you're a survivalist like me.
Right.
Oh yeah, his dad was a contractor.
Did you guys know that?
Nick, it's like they're almost trying to turn him now into survival.
They sure are.
But you know, there's no way to make him look cool.
Have you noticed that?
Remember when he had that ridiculous coat on and he went down into the storage thing?
And he's like all bebopping around in that coat?
Was that just me that was like, oh my gosh, this is the biggest dork?
What are you doing?
Yeah, come on.
Why are you in this huge overcoat with the hood on?
They're not believable.
No, they're not.
And it's just not believable.
That's all it is.
And I'm sorry, but they're going to let some new guy, some new outsider take the house.
Everybody else is cool with, oh, yeah, the new guy, he's getting the house.
They're in tents.
It burned the tent.
It burned right down.
And he knew how to scrape off soot for a ball.
Yeah.
Well, once he built it back, it's his.
It's his.
Okay.
That makes sense.
We're being very critical, as we should be.
but yes what does anybody did anybody like anything from this
um let me think let me look through my episode my notes
and big bold letters i wrote slow
see i didn't that your entire notes is that literally is that your work for the
for the show slow trying to figure out what's next with civilization like it's it's weird
because so i'm watching this show and i'm like thinking walking dead fair walking dead
and they're going that's our problem but the thing is they're going on the same path though
like they're trying to figure out like what's next like the big overlord is like what's next
for civilization of course and I get that but if it's not if it's not supposed to be like
the walking dead and give it like give me more zombies I don't want to see it's starting
look like a really slow drama like I don't need to see okay people versus people yeah
I get like that should be the later stages that should be later on like that civilization is
gonna end and this what like if it was to happen like that this is what's gonna happen
but give me fear to the fear of the walking dead is like what happens it's it's because
it's because they got away from their concept like don't go down a story
Yeah, like it's just, and it's just like the whole like what's going to have with civilization.
Oh, it's going to be me versus you, like human versus human, Lord of the Flies kind of mentality.
And it's just, they skipped over all the good stuff at the beginning.
Exactly.
They should just, they should stick to it.
We're not timewise.
We are not as far along as Walking Dead is.
But as far as a plot line.
We are.
We are.
But they're not as far along mentally.
No.
As walking,
we've missed,
we've skipped.
Yeah,
we never saw the people
still trying to go to work.
Well,
I'm just trying to go to work
and there's like dead people.
Running out of food,
running out of water,
all the hysteria from that.
Like, it's called fear.
Like,
there is no fear.
Now it's just fear of people.
Like,
oh, my neighbor's going to kill me.
Oh,
they want the property.
Like,
because guess what,
there's no civilization.
Like she said it.
She goes,
there's no civilization.
There's no law.
There's no order
outside of the gate.
So this is what we're facing.
But why are we getting that right?
Well,
I think Brad called it from the beginning.
I think they didn't have the money.
You know?
Yeah.
They just ran out of money and they couldn't keep up with a production in a major city.
And then, of course, and my other note is a build-up to a war, which is, again,
like, it's copying everything.
It's copying Game of Thrones.
Like, everything has to lead to one big major battle.
But I asked what you liked, not this like.
What did you like?
Um, all right, check it out.
So the horse scene was great.
It's fantastic.
Which one?
All the family, when the family was eating the horse?
Like, when I heard the horse, like, screaming, I did not want to see what was
around the corner, but then I did.
Of course you know what I mean.
So I was like, good job.
You know, I was like that was a good,
zombie like scene.
And the daughter being, the daughter being a zombie,
of course, is kind of a reminder of us again.
Well, I think that's part of the problem.
I think that we need to stop comparing.
We need to stop comparing.
It's hard not to.
You can't because it's hard not to.
But I think that's where I think a lot of our problem is that we are comparing.
It wouldn't exist without the walking.
But the thing is the reason why we use that tone with me.
Also, the reason why we also compare it is,
it's still Robert Kirkman's.
It's still Kirkman's story,
so you're going to compare it.
You're going to put it.
It's not like it's...
I know.
It's just that I'm trying to find something to grab on to,
to really like.
Like that scene was tremendous, right?
Last week we had the bird pecking scene.
Yeah, that was good as well.
This week we had the horse eating scene.
It was great to see the family.
And of course,
uh,
uh,
I'm going to go back to what I didn't like,
but what Madison has a hard time killing the daughter.
Stop it.
And we, of course,
we have to leave heroin boy to kill it.
that she looks at him.
If Madison, with her liberal,
right, liberal judgment,
palpable, you know, she looks at Nick like,
oh my God, I can't believe he can actually kill somebody now with a gun.
I've failed as a parent.
Shut up.
Right.
Come on.
But then she goes and gives that speech a moment afterwards.
Right.
So you can't kill the little girl because you can't survive,
but then you say, don't go out there because we know what's out there.
Right.
It's not believable.
Her whole thing with her kids and she's, I get.
I mean, she's doing it.
a family like she's like don't worry we're here for a reason and he's like I get you mom I
know why you did it but I just didn't know that you could do it like what what you literally
just said yeah okay I'm sorry I'm sorry Jason what I like I like the way the camp is so
nice and quiet I mean you never hear you never hear the generators do you it's an underground
bunker what underground bunker I don't know yeah you never hit the generator do you
you the generator that's powering all those
freaking lights in the armory.
Maybe it's...
You notice how well-lit the
armory was?
I counted the fluorescent bulbs.
Wow, that's what you do?
You just haven't to the solar panels yet.
Right.
I thought, man, that is the most
well-lit armory.
They don't even have like every other bolt pulled out.
And when he came, the first time
that they walked out there when he...
Yeah.
They just went on forever.
I'm really trying to think what I liked about episode.
Yeah.
Uh-huh.
7.20.
Yeah.
See, my, my, I, the problem was an exact comment.
Yes.
Okay.
My issue with the, besides the whole plot line of Cowboys versus Indians where they're going with that,
it's just so laughable.
It makes me not, not want to watch anymore.
But they keep on putting in every once in a while, one good,
it's like hitting one good golf shot in a golf game.
They do that once per episode now.
Yeah.
That gets me.
Yeah.
To be fair, though, the horse scene was not the first.
I think that, didn't that happen?
Rick in the very first couple of episodes, remember he was writing the horse?
Oh, yeah.
Right.
Right.
Elise is going to get knocked up.
Oh, yes.
Her lover boy, and I like you're so right.
He's going to die.
He's going to be knocked up.
Not like Lori.
You're so right.
Not like Lori getting pregnant.
I mean, that's never happened before.
It's never in the apocalypse.
What else then?
But that'll give Jeffrey another some more fuel for his conspiracy theory on how the babies
are the answer out of the apocalypse.
It has to be right.
It has to be.
Maybe.
It has to be.
What babies?
Oh, you don't know the theory?
The babies that we can't talk about
because that'd be comparing.
Oh, yeah.
No, but if you go back to Walking Dead,
let's take a flashback to Talking Walking Dead
as we were in the middle of talking fear.
No, my theory for Walking Dead is that
Judith, the baby, she's the cure.
The baby is the cure.
You never see anything happened to her.
They've taken her out a bunch.
They always give you a little tease of what could possibly happen to the kid,
but nothing happens.
The walkers, no walkers, nothing.
She's the cure.
She's going to get bit and nothing's going to happen.
Watch.
Yeah.
Something like that.
But.
Or the walker's going to, she's going to, the walker's going to bite Judith and then stand up and go,
hey, what's going on?
I suck being a walker.
I'm cured now.
Man, it's good to be out of here.
Or Judith will have to bite the walkers.
That's what's going to happen.
So just re, that's how the cure will be spread.
But aside from the joking, I believe that she, you know, she's the cure, right?
Her blood is the cure.
But didn't they say if Walking Dead follow the comic books?
I want the walkers to stand up here.
That's what I want.
I want the walkers and say bite the kid and then stand up and go, there's nothing, it's time for work.
With half their stomachs on the air.
Oh, crap.
I didn't even know that happened.
What?
What?
Suit up, boys.
I don't know
All right so I watched
Are we done with this stupid guy
I'll show?
Is there a midseason finale?
Next week is two hours
Midseason finale
You're kidding me
It's going to be a war
It's going to be a war
All out war
So we got Daniel and Strand somewhere
Off running around somewhere
We don't know what happened to them right
Daniel left Strand
Presumably
He's stranded at the hotel again
Right
This is the second time he's been left
At the hotel
Right we don't know if Daniel
was going to come back and save him.
We don't know what's going on with Daniel.
He left the, he saved the,
the damn, damn people, the damn, damn people.
Damn, damn people and turned it over to the lady
because she was so nice and turned down the water fountain
for her brother once a day at five.
So many plot lines.
And Nick's girlfriend, we don't know.
She took off.
Daniel's daughter is missing.
Ophelia.
We have no idea about that.
And we have, and then we have the dingleberries at the ranch.
Which we don't really care about.
It's going to be a war, though.
It's going to be a big war.
I wanted to see the chief again.
Yeah.
You know, the guy that's in charge of the Indians,
because he was like the guy that was.
That's the next episode when Jake, is Jake?
Is his name Jake?
Yes, Jake.
Alicia's boyfriend, Jake.
Oh, is Alicia following him out there?
Yes, she is.
Okay, so both of them will end up.
They're going to let her go, but she's going to see Jake die.
That's just going to happen.
Call it.
And she's knocked up already.
And she's already knocked up.
She'll make it back and she'll, like, have morning sickness or something at the end of next episode.
Yep.
All right.
No need to watch.
The two hours recapt in two minutes.
But she even said, I just, I like him.
She's keeping him close.
Yeah, she's devious.
Right, she's trying to make it that look.
Because she's believable as devious as well.
I think she's playing hard.
Right.
I don't think she really is.
I think she's just acting.
Well, they're trying to make her look like she's being devious.
Yeah.
Well, she's not.
None of them are.
I didn't see devious in their faces.
No.
Oh.
In Madison, I guess.
I just wanted to die.
She has to die.
I'm so tired of her I can't take it.
They have cleverly turned over almost the entire cast.
What's so bad is we don't care about the main character, which is Madison.
I can't believe I'm saying that, but she is the main character.
We don't care.
Even if she did die, who would take over?
Who?
Daniel?
Alicia.
Daniel?
I mean, Daniel's got the one, and he doesn't want to.
Right?
He wants to find his daughter and just be left alone.
Right?
Yeah, exactly.
That's why he killed off everybody.
the dam he's like I don't want to be here here it's right it's yours I'm not I'm not here to
rule yeah I'm here I mean I want to find my daughter I'm a new man now yeah right I'm a new man
now I just want to kill everybody yeah I'm a new man leave me alone or I'll kill you yeah
which I like I like Daniel's character that's good you know part of the problem is believable
is that what's this guy that's the head of the uh the ranch yeah in real life yeah in real
life though what your sons of anarchy guy what's his name uh his name which is real name
Oh, Ruben Blades.
No.
Who?
Oh, Dayton Callie.
He was on the show that airs immediately following the show.
Yeah.
On the AMC.
The show that must not be named.
I mean, it tries to be the show sometimes.
They once in a while have a guest, you know, from the network.
It shows up.
You know, like the executive producer and stars of the show, that kind of thing.
And Snookie.
Oh, I know.
What the hell was that?
I was the same thing.
I missed Snooky, but wait until who was on last night, threw me for a curve.
But he was on.
Callie was on.
And he made the joke when asked about his favorite thing about being part of fear.
And his first reaction was a paycheck.
Now, while that's funny, it's true.
Right.
And it shows, I think.
Yeah.
It shows, I think.
I mean, if you look at it, like they're trying to.
He doesn't care about, he doesn't have, I mean, I know that they're actors.
I know that.
And I know that they get paid to be able to act like they, you know, the other parts.
I get it.
It's just acting.
I understand.
But when they don't have passion for what they're doing.
Right.
When the part doesn't, you think, oh, that's a great part.
I could really be a part of that.
And they don't do that.
Yeah.
You know, that's a problem.
Now, if I were to ask you, on this particular episode last night following fear, there
was a special guest host.
a special guest on the sofa.
Now, prior to me asking you this question,
if I were to say, hey, is Sinbad still alive or dead?
Oh, no.
Would you say that he was alive or dead?
Because I swear to God, I heard, I read where he was dead.
Yeah, actually, yes, I thought he was dead too.
No, he's not.
But he's not dead, and he was on the show last night.
He was actually pretty funny.
And he was actually really funny.
He was a funny.
I like some of his comedic work prior to this,
but he was actually really funny.
And he talked about watching the show
and being a fan of it and showing up at the ranch.
That's what you get?
Right.
Get somebody relevant.
Right.
Well, that's...
Like Snooky.
Yeah.
Like Snooky.
It's the offseason, man.
Yep.
It's the off season.
They have interns.
And Hardwick.
Look, Hardwick likes these comedians, right?
I mean, he's kind of a comedian.
He puts him on his podcast.
He talks to him.
So he gets him on this show.
They show up.
They do a few jokes.
They do go on tour and they laugh.
But Sinbad was actually kind of funny.
And he talked about, you know,
he talked about he and his wife practicing and if he said if I'm at if a brother turns up at this ranch
it's really bad outside out there hey how you doing I'm mixed mixed really funny that's really funny
but I swear to God and I like him but I would have I would have bet money that he was dead
that's I'm telling you the interns are bookers right now they're like this is offseason let's
give the interns a chance to practice in the real world how to book
What's funny is, you know they reached out to a ton of people.
And it's literally the C-grade movie star out there.
Someone that's not even relevant today was the only one they could get to answer.
Right.
But some other people are like, what is it?
Talk show for Fear the What?
Fear the Who?
Is this Walking Dead?
No, it's fear.
No.
Look at the time.
You know, it's Fourth of July weekend.
I've got to go away to the family.
Is it sad?
I will say Sinbad was funny and I enjoyed him and I appreciate his work.
But I'm just saying I was a surprise.
surprise to see him on the couch.
I'm surprised that they have a mid-season finale.
Like, why don't you just go with it?
Like, I don't want to take a break from the show.
I don't either.
Just run its courts.
It's not like getting over the show.
It's not going to give up.
It's not giving us any amp or any motive.
It's like, oh, my God, what's going to happen?
Take the show to the beginning of Walking Dead and let's be done.
Yeah, to take it straight, take it straight up to October, right?
Let's be done with it.
Does anyone know the ratings?
I'm just looking to see if I could find any.
I can tell you this on Rotten Tomatoes.
It gets an 80%.
Wow.
Okay.
Which I'm stunned.
Somebody on Twitter, I think she went at all of us, said, hey, you know, I agree that it's not that great, but she was like, but it's better than 90% of the other stuff that's on TV nowadays.
But especially on Sunday nights.
She needs a Netflix subscription.
She needs a Netflix subscription.
She needs a Hulu subscription, and she needs an Amazon Prime subscription.
Okay, money bags, but a lot of people don't have all those subscriptions.
You get a free trial for 90 days.
Use different email addresses.
Because I'm about ready to cancel cable again.
I'll be honest with you.
Are you really?
Yeah, I'm real close.
Cables, cable's horrible.
I'm really close.
If I can make sure that I can get,
I think there's a,
I think it's Hulu has a new live streaming service.
That they're debuting.
And if I can get AMC live.
Direct TV now, I have Direc TV now.
It's not bad.
Sling.
Sling does it.
I just discovered.
I tried Sling before, but I didn't like the way.
Direct TV now is really good and it's,
it was 30 bucks a word.
sponsor for the they're giving you money for this no i don't actually pay for myself somebody else
pays i use their login but it's really good it's uh wow why you share it with us then i give him
i give him 18 dollars a month and then he takes the other half and it's still not it's still not bad i mean
so you do pay for it 18 dollars compared to 130 for cable i'm i'm i'll pay to 18 dollars
and i watch my into the badlands and yeah there's a couple of shows on amazon prime that are
actually worth watching that are better than the show fear the walking dead
In June, the ratings I could find make it the number three show on cable.
Wow.
Number three show?
That's what they said the on cable.
Holy crap.
See, now, Walking Dead, Walking Dead beats it all.
Okay, Walking Dead covers it all.
The network and everything where fear they're just using cable.
That's still a big, but that's still big numbers.
I mean, you still have all these other shows that are.
What are they getting?
Five, six million?
It can't be getting five or six million.
I don't have the numbers.
I just see what it said.
It came again five or six.
Did you guys say Chip Gaines?
Point seven.
Yeah.
Did you guys see Chip Gaines tweet out?
Yeah, I want the top spot or what do you say?
Yeah, yeah.
But he said, oh, I want that top spot, but the Walking Dead was number one.
Right.
And Fixer Roper was number two.
You're not going to be nice.
What's funny is that's my favorite shows The Walking Dead.
My wife's favorite is.
It's a great show.
It's a great show.
It's not bad.
Actually, I'll give it to him.
I hope that one day he does do maybe one week that flips.
That's not going to happen.
It might.
I don't want that to happen.
It might.
If Chip drives a nail into what's her face is ahead.
Maybe he's a good number one.
Gives up one of his kids.
Jim Gaines turns into walking dead.
Maybe he would beat him.
Here's a nail gun, son.
All right.
So what are we looking at next week for the two-hour finale?
Let's see.
We've pretty much written it, right?
We've written it, we think?
Yeah, he's going to go off to, he's going to go to the reservation.
And he's going to get captured, probably tortured and killed, I'm assuming.
And Dayton, Callie.
And they'll let what's his face, what's her face go?
Alicia will go.
There's going to be a start.
It's going to start the war, the little midseason war.
They're going to tease just like in Walking Dead all-out war.
That's what they're going to tease.
Yeah.
Yeah. That's what they'll do.
And Dayton, Callie, he's been on there enough to where some people like him, so they'll kill him too.
And her son, the psycho son, is going to ascend.
And since Madison has been so kind to him in like a mother-girlfriend figure.
And a mother-girlfriend kind of way.
I know, it's weird.
Setting up her takeover.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And maybe, you know, maybe Madison, they'll take care of a little business with the boy.
All right.
Show them what life's all about.
I mean, if the show's going to turn weird, we might as well turn weird.
Let's go weird.
Madison and what's his name?
Troy.
Troy and Madison sitting in a tree.
K-I-S-S-I-N-G.
Yeah, start with him rubbing salve on her feet.
So yeah, that'll be the mid-season finale.
And then we have to take a break from it, which is sad because so much to talk about.
We're just great.
Thanks for listening.
