I'm sorry, another
Starting point is 00:00:41 food safety alert. Food safety alert. Food safety alert. Food safety alert. Alert. Alert. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the CDC, you know them, you love them, issued a warning over recalled eggs sold in three states. Eggs are not even safe any longer. Salmonella outbreak linked to eggs. The eggs come from Milo's poultry farms, LLC, and they were bought at stores and restaurants in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Illinois. Milo Poultry Farms said an announcement on the Food and Drug Administration's website,
Starting point is 00:01:26 that it's recalling all of Milo poultry farms and Tony's fresh market branded eggs, because these eggs have the potential to be contaminated with salmonella, the organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others. Always concerned about the others with weakened immune systems. 24 hospitalizations. have occurred due to this outbreak. Wow. Nothing missing out of this announcement was out of an abundance of caution.
Starting point is 00:02:05 So if you are infected with salmonella, you often experience fever, diarrhea, which may be bloody, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. The in rare circumstances, the infection with salmonella, can result in the organism getting into the bloodstream and producing more severe illnesses such as arterial, infections, i.e. infected aneurysms, endocarditis, and arthritis. Wait, arthritis, it could cause arthritis? I think I have that. The CDC also recommended that people contact, well, your own health care provider if you have any of these salmonella symptoms, and especially if you have long lasting diarrhea and intense vomiting. So out of an abundance of caution, we hear at chewing the
Starting point is 00:02:56 fat want to tell you that if you are in Michigan, Wisconsin, Illinois, and you have eggs that you purchased from Milo's poultry farms or Tony's fresh market branded eggs, they have been recalled. And do not break open those eggs because they may be contaminated with salmonella. Welcome. Welcome to chewing the fat. The storm that had a 40% chance of strengthening into a storm has actually strengthened into a storm. So a tropical storm Francine in the Gulf of Mexico as we speak, looking like it's going to make landfall in Louisiana sometime this week in the next couple of days. Storm surge, flooding, rainfall, damaging winds and tornadoes will impact Louisiana and other parts.
Starting point is 00:03:52 of the Gulf Coast and South. Yeah, no kidding. It's off the coast in the Gulf of Mexico. So heads up, be prepared as always. You know, yesterday we talked about Vietnam being the most affordable place to live. And yet, then we see a story. It's not funny.
Starting point is 00:04:13 It's not funny at all. But Typhoon Iagi, Yagi, Y-A-G-I, hit Vietnam with at least 22 people missing. hundreds injured, millions without power. It's the most powerful storm to hit Asia this year. It made landfall with 92 mile an hour winds and then weakened into a tropical depression. And we're getting information now that really 127 people dead in Vietnam from the super typhoon and 54 others are missing in northern Vietnam.
Starting point is 00:04:49 So typhoons are, you know, hitting. countries all over the world. So heads up. Heads up. Does make one think twice about moving to the great country of Vietnam, doesn't it? And it finally happened. It finally happened. Polaris Dawn Space Mission is on its way. It launched this morning, for those of you listening live, today is the 10th of September, 2024. It launched from Kennedy Space Center in Florida at 523. a.m. Eastern, which was the second time slot that they
Starting point is 00:05:26 had for lift-off. The first was at 3.38, I believe. So the second window opened up and they launched. Good for you and good for them. Led by billionaire Jared Isaacman and in collaboration with SpaceX. We'll have a spacewalk, I think, in like
Starting point is 00:05:42 three days. We'll have the spacewalk and we'll be able to watch all of that. And then, I guess, hopefully they will, the window will open up for them to come back since they don't have the equipment to stay in space longer than the time allotted. It will be fascinating to see the spacewalk, though, because the absence of an airlock on the
Starting point is 00:06:09 SpaceX Dragon capsule, all four members are going to be exposed to the vacuum of space during the spacewalk. So it'll be fascinating to be able to watch that. And, you know, they're all looking forward to what's going to happen with. this. They have, you know, helmet cameras and enhanced joint mobility, thermal insulation, solar protection, and a suspension system that allows the wearer to pressurize the suit. It'll be awesome to watch it. And we will certainly hope and pray that everything comes out the way they hope it does. You know, we've talked a lot about AI and the future of technology with AI on this
Starting point is 00:06:50 program. And, you know, we have a school in London now that's being promoted as the first teacherless classroom starting this year with artificial intelligence to guide their learning instead of human teachers. I mean, it is powerful what's happening with AI. In fact, AI might be the most important new computer technology ever. It's storming every industry and literally billions of dollars are being invested. So, you know, buckle up. The problem is that AI needs a lot of speed and processing power, so how do you compete without costs spiraling out of control? It's time to upgrade to the next generation of the cloud, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, or OCI. OCI is a single platform for your infrastructure, database, application development, and AI needs.
Starting point is 00:07:42 OCI has four to eight times the bandwidth of other clouds, offers one consistent price instead of variable regional price. pricing, and of course, nobody does data better than Oracle. So now you can train your AI models at twice the speed and less than half the cost of other clouds. If you want to do more and spend less, like Uber, 8x8, and Databricks Mosaic, take a free test drive of OCI at oracle.com slash Jeff. That's Oracle.com slash jeff. Oracle.com slash jeff Boarding for flight 246 to Toronto is delayed 50 minutes
Starting point is 00:08:39 What? Sounds like Ojo time. Play Ojo? Great idea. Feel the fun with all the latest slots in live casino games And with no wagering requirements. What you win is yours to keep groovy. Hey, I won! Boating will begin when passenger Fisher is done celebrating.

Tell you what, I am torn on this Tyreek Hill incident outside of the football stadium on Sunday prior to the football game. Tyreek was dragged out of his car over a traffic incident and handcuffed, thrown down to the curb. I mean, he was saying, I'll sit down and I just had surgery on my knee. I need to place it just right and they just push him down.
Starting point is 00:09:30 And then another player, a teammate, pulls up in his Rolls Roy's. I don't know what car Tyreek was driving, but it certainly isn't a Volkswagen bug like I drive. I'll tell you that. And so it's certainly someone who has spent a lot of money on the vehicle. And it's so surprising there was multiple police officers there pulling this car over around the stadium. I'm sure they're all working traffic around the stadium. and yet they drag him out of the car because he rolled his window back up and he said hey don't be hitting my window like and it was that too much i get well it was for the police officer that's for sure and they were it was just
Starting point is 00:10:11 really i'm really really really torn because i want to you know back the blue back the blue but it does seem like they were you know way out of control over a traffic incident and uh would seem to me that they should know who this guy is. If you're a police officer working outside of a football stadium and one of the stars of the football team gets pulled over, I'm not saying don't give him a ticket, but you should maybe realize, hey, I know who you are. I mean, you don't know who Tyreek Hill is as an officer,
Starting point is 00:10:47 the Miami-Dade Police Department. You don't know who Tyreek Hill is? Come on now. And so the police department has placed the officer on administrative leave. I don't know which officer that is. Is it the officer that pulled him over? So he was the lead man. We've seen the body cam footage and other footage from phones driving by.
Starting point is 00:11:07 We saw, so I don't know which one. Was it the one who pulled him out of the car? Was it the one who went after his teammate stopped? And they told him, hey, don't park there. And his teammates are like, hey, hey, it's, you know, this Tyreek Hill. We're just trying to work it out. And then they throw him in handcuffs.
Starting point is 00:11:25 and I know that they said he was asking for ID and you know he was it appeared like he was finally going to get his ID and he said you know what no I don't want to do then he handcuffed him I just feel like the Miami Dade Police Department
Starting point is 00:11:41 was just a tad out of control for traffic traffic control around the stadium prior to a football game again though you know whatever I know that we're supposed to, you know, get down on bended knee when we're detained by police. And he was eventually set free, given a ticket, and then he was able to, you know, play in
Starting point is 00:12:06 the game, which he scored a touchdown, and then, you know, acted like he was getting handcuffed after the touchdown, which is really funny. But that doesn't bode well for the Miami-Dade Police Department. It makes them look terrible where you've got this superstar football player making fun of being detained by the police department on the football field where millions of people around the country are seeing it. It's just really strange. I don't understand the reaction from the police department.
Starting point is 00:12:32 I know they have a tough job. I get it. I don't want anything bad to happen to the police officers, but it just seems like they were, you know, it was a little over the top for a traffic violation with a guy that you knew. You either thought he stole the car because you didn't know who he was
Starting point is 00:12:51 because he was driving while black, which I could definitely see. see. We'll see. We'll see if it's ongoing. Tarika's tried to say he's going to try to put it behind us, but you know, his agent Drew Rosenhaus and the NFL will definitely look into it. I'm sure the police department makes a lot of money from the Miami Dolphins slash the NFL for doing traffic control around the stadium on game days. So that's maybe a lot of off-duty or overtime hours paid for.
Starting point is 00:13:25 I'm sure by either the you know the team or the Miami Dade Sporting Board or whatever they call themselves so I mean it's it's gonna be interesting to see the fallout from this what happens and
Starting point is 00:13:40 I just I don't know I'm really torn because it just seems like the police department reacted way too over the top for a traffic violation despite the fact that you know I get the whole fact that It looked like Tyreek was being non-compliant because he didn't want the guy tapping his window.
Starting point is 00:14:00 So he rolled it up. And the cops said, rolled out. You, man, that's his window again. And then his teammate comes over. He's no park there. And I need to see your ID. I mean, it seems like the police officers were all wound up. And it was all just over a traffic violation.
Starting point is 00:14:13 And that, to me, is the real problem. Again, and I know the police officers are, you know, faced with difficult situations every day. And, you know, you have to be on your best, uh, be on your best, uh, behavior around them because they're facing eminent danger all the time. But for a traffic violation around the stadium heading to a football game, come on now. All right, let's go to the break room. I need something cold to drink desperately. I love the story, and I don't know why, because the company probably did something bad.
Starting point is 00:14:56 I mean, I don't know the why they. had it revoked, but there was a Burger King franchise in Germany that lost its franchise rights. And I don't know why they lost their franchise rights. I don't know what the deal is. I just love the idea that now they're just called burger. So they're still open and they just took King off the roof and off the circle sign. So now they're just called to Burger. That just makes me laugh.
Starting point is 00:15:33 Fine. You go ahead and take our franchise rights away. Okay? Fine. We'll just be burger. And speaking of restaurants, you know, we talked about the bankruptcy filing of Red Lobster,
Starting point is 00:15:47 and I guess they're coming out of the bankruptcy. They already said that the former P.F. Chang's CEO is going to lead the company, if the exit from bankruptcy is okayed. But we found out that one of the reasons that their exit from bankruptcy is going well is that the rapper, Flava Flav, has put some money in.
Starting point is 00:16:16 He's now, and he said in a recent interview on Sirius' XM's show with Gail King, which, I mean, I listen to every episode of Gail King, her show in the house. I mean, it's called Gail King in the house. He discussed his Red Lobster's financial recovery and Flavor Flav's involvement. They just made an announcement saying that they're one step closer exiting Chapter 11. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:41 And then Flavor Flav was asked about, hey, Carol said, Gayle said, I keep thinking Carol King. It's Gail King. She asked, I didn't see your name on the press release in. Flavor Flav said, yeah, I stepped in. tried to help them out because one thing that I could say, Red Lobster's always been one of my favorite family restaurants since back in the 90s. I've always been in love with their food, man, and mainly the biscuits. The biscuits.
Starting point is 00:17:14 So Flavor Flav loves the Red Lobster biscuits, and that's why he put money into the company. So the next time you go to Red Lobster, thank Flav or Flav. Wow, speaking of bankruptcy, I see where big lots, big lots filed for bankruptcy. I used to love big lots. I haven't been to a big lots in a while. Maybe that's why they're filing for bankruptcy. So they have 1,300 plus stores, and I guess they're planning to sell itself to some private equity firm, nexus capital management, for $760 million and a commitment to keep offering extreme bargains, which I'm sure they will.
Starting point is 00:17:57 they will hold to that commitment. So don't forget we have the Emmys coming up this weekend on ABC. Wow, ABC's got the Emmys. They've got the big debate tonight. Things are bringing people in. So it's Sunday night from the Peacock Theater
Starting point is 00:18:15 at L.A. live downtown Los Angeles. And it'll be available on Hulu the following week. So if you miss it, Sunday night, you know, I don't know, watching football, you'd be able to to go back and see Eugene and Dan Levy, you know, host the Emmy,
Starting point is 00:18:32 the 76 Emmy Awards, father and son duo hosting it, and watch all the agonizing presenters as they come out. And like my favorite presenter that will be there. And I like him too. I just can't take him anymore. And really, that's true with a lot of them. But John Leguizamo is just, I mean, everybody, he's such a talent and he's such a douche at the same time.
Starting point is 00:18:57 drives me crazy. But we did have the Creative Arts Emmys and FX led all the distributors with 27 awards at the Creative Arts Emmys and Shogun FX's Shogun held in a record 14 wins on the Creative Emmy Award list. And they were all there
Starting point is 00:19:23 patting each other around the back. The bear got seven. Wow. I mean, Shogun out did the bear by seven. Saturday Night Live got six. Okay. Jim Henson, Idea Man got five. Blue Eye Samurai got four. The Oscars got four. The Emmys, you know, back clapping the Oscars on the back. That's great. Billy Joel, the 100th Live at Madison Square Garden, got three. Only Murders in the Building got three. Ripley got three. Welcome to Rexham got three. Baby Reindeer got a couple. The Crown. Girls State, How I Met Your Father, Love on the Spectrum, The Morning Show,
Starting point is 00:20:02 and Mr. and Mrs. Smith all got two at the 2024 Creative Arts Emmy Awards. So congratulations and look forward to the actual Emmy Awards on Sunday. You know, speaking of the debate, the presidential debate, between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris tonight, if you wanted to watch it on Blaze TV, now's the time to subscribe. But really what I'd like to see you do is go to blaz-tivy. J-E-F-F-Y and use the promo code debate. And hopefully I'll get credit for you going into

And in fact, we have a joke of the day today is from a listener who emailed chewing the fat at the blaze.com. And if you want to be a contestant on what's the lie, the game show that I do on Fridays,

You can follow me on my YouTube channel, Chewing the Fat at theblaze.com, and you can always order a cameo from me. That's not free. That's the way cameo works. Starting point is 00:22:30 And I become yours and theirs, a trained monkey. There's, yours and theirs, yours and them. I become cameos and yours trained monkey. That's the way that works. You know what I'm talking about. With AmX Platinum, $400 in annual credits for traveling, dining means you not only satisfy your travel bug but your taste buds too that's the powerful backing of amex conditions apply who died today who died today very sad news james earl jones now that's i don't mean to say that
Starting point is 00:23:28 everyone who uh is gets on who died today isn't sad news but james earl jones i mean iconic actor and voice actor dead at the age of 93. Very sad. I mean, he's my, I mean, the guy was awesome, right? I mean, Field of Dreams and Star Wars and Hunt for Red October. Hello, one of my favorite movies of all time, even though it has, uh, douche, Alec Baldwin, co-starring in it. And I know, he gets a gunshot for that, too.
Starting point is 00:24:02 It's still, I mean, we still have the case ongoing from Rust. I know he was found. You know, they kicked the case out for him. But the case is still going, still in the news. So maybe until that goes away completely, he still gets a gunshot, what I name, when I say his name. And so anyway, James Earl Jones, very sad, dead at the age of 93. No cause of death given.
Starting point is 00:24:23 So, I mean, it's 93, okay? Let's let it go. I'm sure it had nothing to do with that. I don't even know if James had anything to do with that at all. But I mean, my gosh, just an iconic voice and an iconic man on film for years, very sad to lose James Earl Jones, even though he was 93. So everybody was posting clips yesterday of, you know, great stuff from James Earl Jones. And, you know, I talked about how he had a stutter early in life and he's got this booming voice and how he dealt with a number of things throughout his early career. But my favorite, I think, the alphabet on Sesame Street was pretty good.
Starting point is 00:25:13 But my favorite, I think, is when he did the top ten list on David Letterman. I'm going to night from the home office. Top ten things that sound cool when spoken by James Earl Jones. Oh, it's a famous actor, a fine actor, a lovely man. Talk to do you. Right, Dave. James, nice to see you. Thank you very much.
Starting point is 00:25:37 You're just standing there. Yeah, like that guy that was here earlier. Talking things that sound cool when spoken by James Earl Jones. Here we go. Number 10. I can't objects in mirror may be closer than they appear. I go about it. I'd go about it.
Starting point is 00:26:11 Number seven. Sex sites. Ford for best picture goes to, dude, where's my car? Funk classics on just one CD or a cassette. The number two cool thing when spoken by James Earl Jones. James Earl Jones. Waza!
Starting point is 00:27:28 Rest in peace, James Earl Jones, dead at the age of 93. And I should probably mention Mark Levin. No, he's not dead. But he did have a fall. And apparently he tore his quadricep, which is a group of muscles at the front of the thigh. and his right knee. And according to his post,
Starting point is 00:27:57 the injury will, you know, likely require him to be in surgery before he returns on air. So if you're familiar with Mark Levin on the radio, he won't be there for a while because of a bad fall. So he didn't die. But he posted that he had a very bad fall this weekend. I don't know if he was playing football,
Starting point is 00:28:16 tennis, frisbee golf. I don't know what he was doing. And so he's going to, you know, He'll be back on the air as soon as he can. And God bless from Mark Levin. So, you know, should all have your best wishes and prayers for Mark. And, you know, I look, Mark Levin is 66 years old. I thought he was older than that.
Starting point is 00:28:41 That's just between you and me. I thought for sure Mark Levin was a lot older than 66. Why would I think that? I don't know. You can answer that question yourself. But I sure thought he was a lot older than 66. In fact, I would have bet money on it. And I would have lost.
Starting point is 00:29:01 I had another person who's not dead that I'm putting in the news. Catherine, Princess of Wales. Yes, Kate Middleton announced that she is cancer-free. She said she completed her challenging cancer treatment after nine months. And it was a difficult journey. And she posted a big long video that was her and her family. and how what a wonderful time they had and it was the video montage and she said she's you know anxious to get back to work soon and it's going to be uh you know what it's what a relief it is to have
Starting point is 00:29:36 finally completed my chemotherapy yeah i bet and now she can stay uh their focus can be uh cancer free and uh doing uh what she can to remain cancer free so uh good news for uh k middleton princess Wales, who is claiming to be cancer-free as of today. So she'll be back at it working for the crown soon as she can. And I don't know what made me think of this story when I was talking about Kate Middleton, but OnlyFans, which is a UK-based company, maybe that's why I was thinking about Onlyfans. Not what you're thinking. Anyway, the owner of Onlyfans has made over a billion dollars in the last three years.
Starting point is 00:30:21 That's awesome. Leonid Radovinsky, the platform, and I love this way this story is written, OnlyFans, the platform you pretend to only vaguely know about. So revenue rose 20% in the fiscal year, ending November 23, to $1.3 billion, and profits grew to $485.5 million, also a 20% gain. The number of OnlyFans' creators jumped 29. to 4.1 million creators on only fans. Users swell 28% to 305 million and spent 6.6 billion on the platform up from 5.6 billion a year ago.
Starting point is 00:31:10 So this makes Leonard Leonid Lianid Radovinsky very well off. He's received 472 million in dividends for the fiscal year this year and a billion. over the previous three years. Yeah, that's pretty good. That's not a bad life. So his business model, awesome. Only fans, creators, sell videos, photos, and private messages to customers
Starting point is 00:31:33 through one-time fees or reoccurring subscriptions, and the platform takes 20% cut. Yeah, put your stuff on my website, and pay me 20% when people pay you. That's a good deal. It's Mindgeek, the company that operates incognito mode, regular's porn hub and browsers only does about half as much business as OnlyFans.
Starting point is 00:31:59 OnlyFans is likely the biggest and most profitable porn operation in the world. Yet, well, it's not all porn. Let's be clear about that. It's not all porn. It's who you heard me. It's not all porn. So, I don't look at me like that.
Starting point is 00:32:14 Remember when they thought they were going to try to take porn off of the site? Yeah, that didn't go over well. And so, you know what, we rethought that plan, and we'll go ahead and just leave it on. I think that was a good choice. It's hockey season, and you can get anything you need delivered with Uber Eats. Well, almost, almost anything. So no, you can't get a nice rank on Uber Eats.
Starting point is 00:32:54 But iced tea, ice cream, or just plain old ice, yes, we deliver those. Goaltenders, no, but chicken tenders, yes, because those are groceries, and we deliver those too. Along with your favorite restaurant food, alcohol and other everyday essentials. Order Uber Eats now. For alcohol, you must be legal drinking age. Please enjoy responsibly. Product availability varies by region. See app for details.
Starting point is 00:33:15 I mean, maybe I could have put this under Who Died Today, but we have news that the Texas Civil War Museum is closing. I know. Very sad. Because, I mean, you can't drag me away from the Texas Civil War Museum. It's been open for 17 years. years. Big surprise, it's been open in a city called White Settlement. So very sad that it is closing. Isn't it though? That's what I said. It's really sad. So the owner, the director of sales and marketing, Dennis Patrick Partrich, right? Dennis Partridge, P-A-R-T-R-I-C-H-P-R-I-C-H-R-R-C-R-R-C-R-S
Starting point is 00:34:00 sales of marketing said that, yeah, yeah, we're closing it down end of October and we're going to sell everything, everything off at the museum here and the building has been sold so we're out. Oh, okay. So some of the artifacts not purchased before closing would be handed over to the Horse Soldier Antiques in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. This is the place that wanted the Robert Lee statue and Young Soldier from downtown Dallas when they took it down because you can't have that anymore in any city in America. No Robert E. Lee. No, none of that.
Starting point is 00:34:42 Can't have that. Yeah, well, the city then said, no, we're not going to give it to you. Wait, what? What are we going to do with it? Well, we're going to put it at a golf resort. So there it sits at a golf resort instead of someplace where, you know, people can go and actually see it. Anyway, well, you can go see it at the golf resort. Yes, I know. I get it. And you can drive your golf balls into the old Robert Ely statue if you want to. But very sad.
Starting point is 00:35:13 The end of October, the Texas Civil War Museum will be shutting down in white settlement. So maybe, you know, give me a call or head out there and say, hey, those, I don't know what part of the Civil War items they have. I apologize because I never actually have been to the Texas Civil War Museum. Makes me want to go now, though. So because, you know, there's probably some items there that you think, well, that'd be kind of cool to have. And they probably want way too much money for it. I mean, I don't know. You know, the husband and wife team that opened it up, I don't know, in 2006, because they wanted to showcase their collection,
Starting point is 00:35:57 which included both Union and Confederacy artifacts and the Victorian era dress. It also housed a collection that came from the now defunct Texas Confederate Museum in Austin. So, okay. I mean, go and take a shout and buy what you want. And then, you know, the rest of it will go to the, like I said, the horse soldier antiques in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. All right, a couple more things before we get out of here. I have been meeting since today is debate day between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris. the Elton John clip
Starting point is 00:36:32 where he is being interviewed by Variety and they're trying to set it up so that we get Elton John saying bad things about Donald Trump that's what they're trying to do well we know you're not a supporter of Donald Trump
Starting point is 00:36:46 what did you think about him calling Kim Jung Un Little Rocket Man can you say something terrible about Donald Trump please Elton John well the thing that makes Elton I don't know a superstar and cool is that, yeah, he can still appreciate everyone, you know, liking his music and his
Starting point is 00:37:08 performances, and it's okay. Like the rest of you musicians, I can't believe that he's playing my music. We can't have that. I won't have that evil Donald Trump playing my music. So, you know, they're trying to get the same reaction from Elton John. Doesn't quite go the way they wanted to had variety. I know that you're not a supporter of Donald Trump's. He loves your music. How did it feel when he took the lyrics to Rocket Man? And he used it as a nickname for Kim Jong-un.
Starting point is 00:37:40 And then he gave Kim Jong-un. I laughed. I thought it was brilliant. I laugh. Good on you, Donald. I'm the Rocket Man, yeah. Donald's always been a fan of mine, and he's been to my concerts many, many times. So, I mean, I've always been friendly towards him, and I thank him for his support.
Starting point is 00:37:57 Yeah, when he did that, I just thought it was hilarious. It made me laugh. Thank you. He gave Kim one of your CDs and signed it. That wasn't one of the books about him, because Kim, I guess, didn't know the song. What's that? He gave Kim Jong-un-ung to sign CD, you know, which he hasn't heard of it. I know, of course he hasn't heard of me.
Starting point is 00:38:14 I'd be very surprised if he had. I've never toured North Korea, and I have no intention of doing so. Ha! It was, I thought it was a light moment, and it was fun. Thank you. Thank you. Elton John. Thank you. That's not supporting Donald Trump. That's not bashing Donald Trump. That's just being, I don't know, a human. Oh, my gosh. I love that so much. It makes me appreciate Elton John even more. Oh, and I can't, I can't leave today without, we'll get to the joke of the day from Sarah, who emailed me at Chewing the Fat at theblaze.com.
Starting point is 00:38:54 Thank you for your joke, even though I think it's kind of mean. But, you know, I'm going to share it with the audience. I cannot, I would be remiss if I didn't mention my favorite movie, probably the funniest movie, one of the funniest movies of all time coming to America, which, you know, is an Eddie Murphy film. But James Earl Jones played Eddie's father, the king, in the movie. And my son works. And it was just awesome.
Starting point is 00:39:25 And I was reminded because when he is, coming into Queens to find his son. When he, you know, they throw the rose petals down on the street and he steps out of the car. There's video now that's saying that's how he was entering heaven as, as King Jaffe. And I just, you know, it was all, rest in peace, James Earl Jones. I may have to watch coming to America just in memory of James Earl Jones. All right. let's get out of here uh joke of the day uh as i said from sarah uh sarah thank you for the kind
Starting point is 00:40:03 words in the email and uh i don't know that i want to thank you for the joke or not because i feel like it's mean and i'm going to share it but uh it's kind of mean and none of the jokes that i do is joke of the day here on chewing the fat are mean so i'm adding one uh to the to the pile uh this is the joke from Sarah. I'm so mad. I got kicked out of Weight Watchers yesterday. Turns out you're not allowed to pop in and throw a bag of M&Ms in the middle of the room and yell, let's play a game of hungry, hungry hippos. See what I mean? Yeah, it's mean.
