Blaze Radio Network And now, chewing the fat with Jeff Fisher. I know that school has started for many places around the country, but people are still thinking about vacations. And if you were thinking, hey, there's still time to go to Belarus.
Starting point is 00:00:48 No, sorry. The U.S. embassy in Belarus has urged all U.S. citizens in the country to depart immediately. and don't go to neighboring Russia or Ukraine. And plus those of us here in America today, or Americans anywhere around the world, actually, except for those of you already in Belarus, should go to Belarus. You should make no plans to travel to Belarus.
Starting point is 00:01:16 Due to Belarusian authorities continued facilitation of Russia's unprovoked attack on Ukraine, the buildup of Russian military forces, in Belarus, the arbitrary enforcement of local laws, the potential of civil unrest, the risk of detention, and the embassy's limited ability to assist U.S. citizens residing in or traveling to Belarus. Oh, that's special. Yeah, because when you go to a country, you want the embassy there to assist you.
Starting point is 00:01:50 Sorry, man, we'd love to help, but we can't right now. So if you were planning or someone you know and love We're planning on going to Belarus Now is not the time You waited too long So if you're already there They're listening to chewing the fat in Belarus Depart immediately
Starting point is 00:02:09 That's according to the U.S. Embassy So I hate to start the show with sad news But that's where we're at in today's world So you're going to have to find someplace else to vacation You know maybe, well, you can't go to Hawaii. Maybe, well, you can't go into northern Canada. Maybe, well, no, I guess you can't go to California
Starting point is 00:02:34 because the storms are there. You know what, just stay home. Just stay home and don't go anywhere. How about that? Welcome. Welcome to chewing the fat. So Chicago is a busy place. Chicago, Illinois, in the United States of America.
Starting point is 00:02:53 We have had a Chicago Democratic alder woman, Maria Haddon. She's asked gang members to refrain from shootouts between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. You know, just to reduce the risk to people not involved in high-risk activities. So that's nice. Hey, gang members, what do you say? between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m., you just don't have any shootouts, okay? We want to reduce the risk to people not involved in high-risk activities. What do you say, please?
Starting point is 00:03:36 Then we have the Chicago mayor who, this might be, this is one of my favorite stories, I think, of the week, and it's only midweek. He promised the school kids, first day of school, pizzas. and he said, hey, I'm going to partner with Home Run In to distribute pizza on August 20th in a celebration for the first day of school. And the kids were excited. He had the Home Run In, show up at the schools, and they were going to give out. Well, they did give out more than 6,000 pizzas.
Starting point is 00:04:15 Dude, that's awesome in the city's south and west sides. I mean, that's really cool, right? Well, when the children arrived for their pizza party, they were given frozen pizza. That is awesome. So what in the world are these school kids going to do with frozen pizzas? And the faces of them accepting the frozen pizzas were disappointed and confused.
Starting point is 00:04:50 And it's unbelievable to me that the mayor, Brandon Johnson, would say, hey, I'm going to give you kids free pizza on the first day of school and then give every one of them
Starting point is 00:05:08 a frozen pizza. I mean, what are we supposed to do with a frozen pizza? Carried around all day. Maybe the school could throw it in a freezer. Maybe there's a cooler with some dry ice in it to keep it cold. I have no idea what he's thinking about. But here you go. Here's your frozen pizza. I mean, that is just dumb.
Starting point is 00:05:35 Just dumb. I don't even think Lori Lightfoot would have done that, but I can't say that. I don't know that for sure. But we said, you know, you got rid of Lori Lightfoot, but the grass isn't always greener on the other side. And Mayor Brandon Johnson is proving that statement more and more with every passing out of a frozen pizza. Coming to a grocery store near you, we've talked about how so many stores have expanded their self-checkout lanes, which is just agonizing to me. And especially it's agonizing to me in stores that I pay to be a member of. So I pay to be able to shop at the store.
Starting point is 00:06:19 Now you want me to check out through the self-checkout lane. Now, I'm okay with that. I'm even, you know, because sometimes you only get a couple of things and it's quicker and easier just to go through the self-checkout. And boop-boop, and you're gone. However, let me say this. I wish that they would give you a discount as a member for going through self-checkout. So if they ID your card, which they do because they make sure it's you now.
Starting point is 00:06:50 Heaven forbid you use someone else's card at a Costco. They bring in the Costco SWAT team. And so actually, and I don't know. I have not seen what happens when someone is using someone else's card at Costco. I'm interested to see what actually happens. I might have to try it just to see what happens. But anyway, I'd like to have them for the companies to, if I pay to be a member of your service, of your store, if I go through the self-checkout, I should get a discount because you're not having to pay the cashiers. Well, and I see Walmarts all over are expanding their self-checkout areas in every store in my neck of the woods.
Starting point is 00:07:35 Well, I see Wegman's food markets. as of I don't know they've got 109 stores or so in eight states and DC they probably have more now but uh and somewhere in 2022 they had like
Starting point is 00:07:49 109 110 stores so it's being reported now that Wegmans is going to all self-checking no cashiers just terminals you're on your own now of course they'll probably have front end people watching and cameras
Starting point is 00:08:05 above all the all the checkouts lanes but no no cashiers whatsoever at Wegmans now I know that we talked about the Netherlands jumbo grocery chain that established the slow lanes in its stores and we'll see how that works out I mean you know so if you want to you want to chat you want to take your time you go into that lane okay I guess that if you need to talk to someone during the lane. And so it's amazing that you can't just go through the checkout line, say hello, how you doing, as the cashier is checking out your groceries,
Starting point is 00:08:49 and not, and just have, you don't even have to have a decent conversation. You just watch the checkout happening, and then you pay the bill. Thank you. Here you go. That's how much it is. We're done. We don't even want to do that, let alone have to have a full-out. conversation as we're checking out.
Starting point is 00:09:07 But I think that's coming to all stores very soon, right? We're just going to get rid of all the cashiers, and it's just going to be self-checkout, and good luck, God bless, and that's the way it is. And you'll have a couple people running the front end that are overseeing the self-checkout machines and helping people from time to time buying products that you have to be an adult to purchase to make sure that, you know, the ID and they have the special passcode to, you override the system when you scan something that says stop everything completely until we get someone over here to make sure it's good to go i wish that you could continue if you have something
Starting point is 00:09:46 if you have something that they have to have an idea on you have to make sure that's the last product that you scan because uh i i purchased nicotine gum from time to time i know don't look at me I'm trying to get rid of that too. But, you know, I don't smoke cigarettes anymore, but I do chew some nicotine gum. But you have to be 21 to buy the nicotine gum. So if you go to self-checkout and you have more than just that as an item, you know, poop, and then everything shuts down until it gets the go ahead from the person working on the front end.
Starting point is 00:10:22 And then you can go back to scanning your items. You can't continue to scan items once the machine says, oh, this item, you have to be 21. everything locks down so a lot of times I as I'm coming up to the self-checkout I wave you know the front end person hey when you got them in it let's go I need you over here so that you know when they come that's when I scan the nicotine gum so that they can override the system and I can continue to scan but the trick is if it's busy is you need to make that the last thing you scan because everything shuts down so that by the when they override it then you're done
Starting point is 00:11:00 and you can check out. It's just another way to... Just another way to keep the man down. All right, let's go to the break room. I need something cold to drink desperately. So I feel like this story is not true, but I kind of like the way it is. Tom Cruise has been a...
Starting point is 00:11:26 You know him, you love him. He's been a high-profile member of the Church of Scientology for decades. And his eldest two kids have also become active members. But Tom has reportedly quit the church after allowing it to control his life for years. There's no way, I believe, that that, to be true.
Starting point is 00:11:47 I mean, he's been an active member at the Church of Scientology forever. I mean, he used to, I mean, I lived in Florida for a number of years and not far from Clearwater, which is the motherland of Scientology. And, you know, he would always pop up from time to time in that neck of the woods. Now, Tom has been primarily in the U.K.
Starting point is 00:12:09 The last three years, filming his latest movies, right? So he's been photographed around places like Birmingham and Cotswolds. It's reported that he's stopped visiting the UK Scientology headquarters. He also has it been pictured at the Church of Scientology building in London. Oh, boy. So this is fueling speculation that he is distancing himself from Scientology. Okay. Apparently Tom is having a religious crisis. Uh-huh. I don't know that I buy it. I think he's just been busy. But it's shocking when you, you know, consider how involved the church has been in his personal life. You know, we know that it played a role in his divorces with Nicole and Katie. That's Nicole Kidman and Katie Holmes, by the way. It's also speculated that it's kept him away from his and Katie's daughter, Sury, who's
Starting point is 00:13:04 17 now and he'd be able to see her I think when she's an adult I think but uh so after seven years of marriage when they got a divorce divorce they uh he apparently she got sole custody and he is not supposed to see her uh because of Katie's desire to escape Scientology it also uh it also says here that Katie gets $400,000 a month until Surrey turns 18. So, man,
Starting point is 00:13:41 no one wants to see Surrey turn 18 more than Tom Cruise. Because Katie Holmes has been getting $400 a month since they've been divorced. Holy cow. I hope she's doing
Starting point is 00:13:57 okay. I mean, she's She does have her own money, but still, that seems to be, you know, she had a lifestyle to keep up. So we'll see. And I guess Tom agreeing to give Katie full custody, you know, he agreed to give up the contact. So we'll see, you know, they claim that while he's leaving the church so he can see his daughter rekindling his relationship with Siri.
Starting point is 00:14:25 You know, it's been over a decade since he's last seen her. Okay. You know, the two other kids are in the church. I just, I don't see this to be legitimate. I think Tom has just been busy, and I'm sure that he's been making his payments to the Church of Scientology, because if that were the case,
Starting point is 00:14:44 if the payments weren't going through to the church, then we would start hearing more and more from the church, as they would be bad-mouthing Tom Cruise. And we haven't necessarily heard that yet. yet. So I see where the Frazier reboot featuring some of the original cast has been
Starting point is 00:15:06 confirmed for an October 12th premiere on Paramount Plus. So that shooting must have already been done prior to the strike. Pretty incredible. So at least we'll have new content. Hopefully it'll be good. And then I also see where the Sex and the City sequel
Starting point is 00:15:24 and just like that was renewed for a third season. I mean, the first one was barely okay. The second one has been agonizing. I stopped watching it. I'll get back to it just because now it's been renewed for a third season. And just like that, I don't know what the title should have been. It certainly should have been something like, you know, and just like that, we're old women, we're walking the streets. I don't don't know. I don't know. It was just, it didn't feel right at all. But, hey, good for them. You know what I'm saying? Good for them. And then we talked about Oliver Anthony being the first, the first artist to debut atop the Billboard Hot 100 without charting any prior song. The Richmond, the Richmond, which, you know, debuted at number one on Billboard's Hot 100 song charts. You know, congratulations to Oliver. But I was looking at, you know, when we broke out the numbers of the streaming downloads and what he's been selling.
Starting point is 00:16:34 But then I see where it's reported that he's making $40,000 a day. $40,000 a day. Now, I don't know if that's from all the songs that it was released, and I know he just released another one, or if it's just from Richmond, north of Richmond. But that's pretty good. That's pretty good. If he's raking in $40,000 a day, I mean, they released it. But on the 11th of August. So if you're listening live today, it is the 23rd of August, 2023.
Starting point is 00:17:05 So for 12 days, 12 days, it's been $40,000 a day. That's pretty good. I hope he's struggling by with $40,000 a day. And look, you know, good for him. Good for him. But, who, no, seriously, good for him. him. Oh, it was like we're talking about entertainment. Not good for him. Scooter Braun, the music manager who, you know, he got into the big fight with Taylor Swift right over her master's.
Starting point is 00:17:41 Well, it's being reported now that he lost Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato. So Scooter is looking for some new talent to manage because, you know, he got in a fight with Taylor. and she's the new queen of the music world. She may be just the new queen of the world. Beyonce better be careful because Taylor may be pushing her off the throne. And Beyonce will always be the queen, Jeff. Okay, all right. I'm just saying that Taylor is the one seemingly in charge of the world right now.
Starting point is 00:18:18 And so when Taylor gets into a fight with somebody, people like Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato are like, hey, Scooter, you know, you were our, manager and now I don't want you to be I don't want you to be our manager so sorry take care bye with amex platinum 400 dollars in annual credits for travel and dining means you not only satisfy your travel bug but your taste buds too that's the powerful backing of amex conditions apply who died today who died today well uh Natalia a bull Morodina 35 leaned out.
Starting point is 00:19:16 She's dead. Rest in peace, Natalia. But it was the way that she died that was incredible. So she's a Russian tourist. She's on vacation in Dominican Republic. And she was on a highway near Ponticana. Apparently her friend Ivana Barakchuk, 32, was believed to have been driving the car and recording the video. So she is a, she's semi-naked in the video. She's just got a swimsuit on or panties. It looks more like a
Starting point is 00:19:54 swimsuit bottom, but she's topless. And she's leaning, she's leaning out the window. And she's a, you know, she's pretty hot. I will say that. She didn't look bad. It. I know. It's relative, Jeff. My gosh, the horror. I know. So I don't know. So I don't know. why she thought it was cool to show off her breasts and hang out the window of the car as it's moving, but she gets hit by a pole, or she actually hits the pole. The pole doesn't hit her. She's riding in the car, leaning out the window, sticking her finger in her mouth and throwing her head back,
Starting point is 00:20:39 and then the pole. uh the pole hits oh my gosh now the unedited video ends with muffled screams and her body being thrown sideways i i was and then they and then her girlfriend stopped recording wait what yeah now apparently she did die right away she died later from from the injuries oh okay all right so if you were expecting to see the, you know, estate agent, the wealthy Russian buyers that she said she had, she claimed that she had, and she was vacationing in the Dominican, if you were expecting to see Natalia Boredina again,
Starting point is 00:21:33 don't because you're not going to. Natalia Bernini dead at the age of 35. And, you know, we've seen it on TV. You know, we've seen shows that do that where people, you know, are standing up in a limo, you know, when they have the moon roof open and the limo and they hit a pole. Or we've seen shows where people are leaning out the window and they get hit by the point of it. But this was, you know, apparently real life. It looked real. It could have been faked, I guess.
Starting point is 00:22:01 It's a good way to fake your own death is to pretend that you hit a pole while hanging out a wall. window topless. So maybe she's still alive. But according to this story, she's not. So rest in peace, Natalia. Then we have a man, an unnamed man in our who died today. He fell from the Mandarin Hotel in New York City. And apparently he fell 750 feet to his death.
Starting point is 00:22:31 And I guess he hit the overhang and split in half. Oh, that is, I mean, that's almost worth it, worse than Italia. Holy cow. So now the police say that this man leaped from the top of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Columbus Circle. Okay. And he was pronounced dead at the scene. He hit the hotel's marquee on the way down and split in half. Ooh.
Starting point is 00:22:59 That is not good. He, but then it goes on to say he doesn't appear to have been a guest at the hotel. he it's believed to have taken a service elevator to the roof before jumping. Now he was in his pajamas. So he's in his pajamas. He snuck into the hotel, then jumped 750 feet. Okay. And it says, oh man, it says here that the arm was found across the street.
Starting point is 00:23:35 It's not funny. It's not funny, okay? I'm not laughing at that. I am not laughing at that. There's no other injuries, and they're looking, they're saying, no criminality at this time. He's wearing pajamas,
Starting point is 00:23:51 and I guess they found a credit card on him. Wait, what? No, it's not in this story. It just talks about the pajamas, a print t-shirt, and slippers. It's not believed he was a guy. guest. He look, the Mandarin is
Starting point is 00:24:10 on top of the 19 floors of the 55-story building, yet I guess he took the service elevator before jumping. I mean, it's a stunning building and it's a beautiful place. I mean, it's, you know, the place of hoity-toids. But
Starting point is 00:24:25 it's just incredible that I thought I had read or heard that on top of the being in his pajamas and slippers that they had found a credit card. Because they don't know who he is. So I was thinking that if they actually found a credit card, there's a tip. You're the detective.
Starting point is 00:24:46 Go detect. But it doesn't look like that was actually true. I don't know where I heard that. So never mind the work going on at the hotel there at the Deutsche Bank Center. He was splitting two and hit the marquee. And they're going to go ahead and be working on that and cleaning that. up as we speak. So don't mind that. It's still a beautiful place to stay.
Starting point is 00:25:10 And everything is fine. Okay? Everything is fine. And I guess it could have been a suicide. I guess it just seems like, you know, it would seem like it wouldn't be a suicide. It would seem like he would be helped out the window with the Mandarin. But whatever.
Starting point is 00:25:32 I don't, you know, whatever. It's fine. Like I said, it's fine. it's fine. Oh, and they're not dead yet, but if you have seen the videos, and I have, of all the people of all ages, playing in the storm waters in California
Starting point is 00:25:49 from, well, I guess it was tropical storm, Hillary, that once it made landfall in California, but they've had flash flooding, and all these people have been making videos of them swimming and jumping and partying in the water on the streets and the flooding. and I'm thinking, you ought not to do that. Maybe you should, I don't know, have someone let you know not to do that after hurricanes, okay?
Starting point is 00:26:19 And so now the CDC and the EPA experts are saying, you know, you people should avoid contact with floodwaters. Oh, you really? Thank you. Yeah, I wonder why that would be. Well, due to health risks. you know debris down power lines human and household industrial livestock and medical waste that's it oh wait no that's not it vehicles and other harmful contaminants uh can swim around in floodwaters as well uh that are caused by natural disasters so uh they're not dead yet but it very well could happen sooner than later after swimming in the floodwaters from hurricane.
Starting point is 00:27:07 I'm sorry, tropical storm, Hillary. It's hockey season, and you can get anything you need delivered with Uber Eats. Well, almost, almost anything. So no, you can't get a nice rank on Uber Eats. But iced tea, ice cream, or just plain old ice? Yes, we deliver those. Goaltenders, no, but chicken tenders, yes. because those are groceries and we deliver those too.
Starting point is 00:27:44 Along with your favorite restaurant food, alcohol and other everyday essentials. Order Uber Eats now. For alcohol, you must be legal drinking age. Please enjoy responsibly. Product availability varies by region. See app for details. So yeah, yeah, the debates are tonight and Donald Trump isn't going to be there. He's doing an interview with Tucker.
Starting point is 00:28:04 I believe he's already done the interview with Tucker, but Tucker's going to release it as another interview on X tonight. at the same time that the debates are starting. And blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. I can't. I just can't. And it's going to be everywhere. And I have an idea of how I'm going to,
Starting point is 00:28:24 how I would cover the debates. And I'll just tell you here on chewing the fat, okay? So if you hear me on it on other shows, this is I'm going to cover it. Okay. I'm going to record it. And then I want to get every um, uh,
Starting point is 00:28:38 and a, duh. And that's how I'm going to cover the debate. I'm going to play audio from the debate with that. Because that's all I care. That's all I hear from these guys. So if somebody else does it, you can have it. On me, you're welcome.
Starting point is 00:28:59 But that's how I would cover it. And if I was doing, you know, I don't know, an afternoon drive show somewhere. That's how I would cover it tomorrow. But that's just me. That's just me. So anyway, some headlines that you probably need to know. Japanese officials, well, of course you need to know.
Starting point is 00:29:15 I'm telling them to you. Japanese officials announce wastewater from the damage of Fukushima, a nuclear reactor, will begin being released into the Pacific Ocean tomorrow. That would be Thursday, the 24th of August, 2023. It's been held in storage since 2011. What's that building over there? It's just wastewater, you know, from the nuke plant. Don't worry about it.
Starting point is 00:29:43 We'll just leave it alone. Oh, okay. Now, Japan says it's filtered out all the radioactive elements in the water, except one, tritium. Now, that element can't be filtered, only diluted. And it's become a main point of tension around the plan. Opponents warn of the potential harm and releasing tritium, which emits radiation. But supporters say that disposing of nuclear wastewater with, minimal amounts of tritanium has been done before in Japan and other countries.
Starting point is 00:30:15 So it'll be fine. Don't worry about it. Why are you even talking about? So the released water will contain 190 beck quarrels of tritam per liter. Tritium, right? T-R-I-U-M. I want to make sure it's Tritium, which is far below. only 190 beck quarrels is far below the world health organization safety limit of 10,000
Starting point is 00:30:44 beck quarrels per liter for drinking water. Oh, okay. Well, then fine. Two plants in the UK released between 400 and 2,000 terra bec quarrels of triteum into the ocean every year. So, I mean, they're doing it over there. Why can't we do it over here? It's not. It's not. It's different oceans. It's not like it's on the same planet, whatever. It's not like the oceans connect somehow. It's over there. It's on the other side.
Starting point is 00:31:21 Okay. All right. No problem. So apparently there's some critics to that. A lot of people don't want that to happen. The U.S. National Association of Marine Laboratories argue that there are still unanswered questions and a lack of evidence. about the safety of the water.
Starting point is 00:31:39 Oh, it'll be fine. We'll be fine. Don't worry about it. What could possibly go wrong? You can follow me on social media on TwitterX at Jeffrey JFR. Facebook and Instagram is Jeff Fisher Radio. My YouTube channel is Chewing the Fat with Jeff Fisher.
Starting point is 00:32:00 You can always email the show, Chewing the Fat at the Blaze.com. And you can order a cameo. if you'd like at Jeffey JFR. That's not free, but you just tell Cameo what you want, and I do it. So Cameo is kind of like my pimp, and I'm your trained monkey. So that's the way it works. At Jeffrey JFR on Cameo.
Starting point is 00:32:20 I see where, speaking of social media, and I don't disagree with this, meta is preparing to launch a web version of its text-based social media app threads. Sometime this week, that's what the report. are. I mean, Threads really is deads. Right? I mean, that should be in Who Died Today. You know, it will be in who died today soon. The latest new feature has the platform attempts to gain a parody with X. Uh-huh. So Threads lost last, last, launched last month, and I mean, it was the fastest growing app in history. But the engagement numbers are, they have plummeted, and nobody's using threads. Everybody wants that we want Instagram
Starting point is 00:33:08 And we're not using threads. Okay, so let's just move on from threads. And I will say, but I may have mentioned it before, you know, when I got a new phone and then, you know, everything came over to the new phone, all the apps had, you know, logged out. And so, you know, I got to log back in. I have not logged back into threads.
Starting point is 00:33:26 I haven't gotten rid of the app because I still want Instagram, but I have not logged back into threads. You know why? Because threads is deads. So American Airlines, they're your friends. They are your friends and they care about you so much. Well, they care about you so much that they don't want you saving money on their flights. They filed a lawsuit against skip lagged, which is a travel website that helps passengers find cheaper flights through a loophole where customers buy a ticket on a multi-leg journey with a layover in the city that they're trying to get to.
Starting point is 00:34:04 and then they just simply leave the airport during the layover. It's not illegal, but many airlines said it violates their policies and are attempting to crack down on the practice. Why? What's it to you? This is your deal. So people are using your deals to have cheaper flights going to different cities, and now you're pissed at them for that? That ticks me off. I hope I am I on skip lagged side on this. It's your deal.
Starting point is 00:34:36 Now, even if they lose to skip lagged, you can bet that they will change their policies and won't allow you to do that. If you don't get on, it's okay for them to cancel flights. If you were at the airport during a layover and they said, oh, no, that's it. It's over. Sorry, we can't get you there until three days from now.
Starting point is 00:35:00 it's okay for them to do that but it's not okay for you to just you know what i'm i'm not going to finish the flight here and i have already another flight booked out of here in a week or two or however however the deal works it's just amazing to me that uh because people are finding ways to save money with the airlines they're pissed oh that's incredible and so now and speaking of airlines i see they're actually talking about building a commercial flight to go from New York to Paris in 90 minutes. Carried 20 passengers at hypersonic speed. First of all, I doubt that it will have fat guy seating. But they're saying that it would travel five times faster than sound.
Starting point is 00:35:56 So you'd be traveling 3,850 miles per hour. And, of course, of course it's backed by the Pentagon. Uh-huh. And it's a startup Hermius, H-E-U-S, has the goal, and they're looking to build this plane or this passenger vehicle that's going to be carrying people, well, I mean, they're starting going to start out, New York to Paris. but it'll be, you know, you'll be able to go around the globe.
Starting point is 00:36:28 You go to New York to Paris in 90 minutes? Wow. I mean, the NFL, the national football league, when we've talked about this, I think, before, the NFL should actually be investing in this company because even if they don't get to the hypersonic speed of 90 minutes from New York to Paris, or, you know, New York to London,
Starting point is 00:36:53 it would be if they work on, let's say it takes two and a half hours to get there instead of seven and a half hours or three hours instead of seven and a half hours. That would be great because the NFL is going to be playing in Europe now and there's more games than ever this year and there's going to be more games than ever in the future. I mean, we're going to end up with leagues and divisions in Europe. I don't know how they're going to work that out. That's going to be a strange thing to happen. But it's going to happen. You can guarantee it. It's going to happen.
Starting point is 00:37:29 And so they need to be able to travel back and forth to Europe, at least for now, because unless you set up divisions and teams in Europe, and then they come over and play for the playoffs and or a Super Bowl here in the U.S. with the teams here in North America and don't have the travel, at least for the time being, you're going to have teams from the North America travel to Europe to play. And you're going to need that travel time is what kills teams, kills teams, especially West Coast teams,
Starting point is 00:38:04 flying to Europe. But it just kills teams because you're flying all the way across our country and then onto Europe. So if you could find something that could get you there in, you know, two hours, three hours, that would be awesome. But if you could get, I mean, they're going to need to have more than one. a football team has more than 20 people.
Starting point is 00:38:23 So, and it's going to be the hoity-toids traveling. It's not going to be cheap. You're not going to be laying over in a city and not picking up the next leg of your trip on the hypersonic speed plane for 20 passengers. No, that's going to be for CEOs and above, traveling five times faster than sound to go from New York to Paris.
