Wow. Ozempic lawsuits have hit a new gear.
And the stories are coming out are not very good.
Nearly 4,000 cases are now piled up claiming the drug left people with stomach paralysis,
so bad that food sits and rots, endless vomiting, ER tubes down the nose,
plus sudden permanent blindness, pancreatitis, and kidney damage.
muscle is disappearing at terrifying rates for some users,
aging bodies in fast forward.
The FDA finally slapped a gastropriasis warning on the label,
but the flood of claims are continuing to rise.
So the Ozempic miracle shot drug seems to be not so much of a miracle for many people.
So be careful out there.
If you are thinking about Ozambic, on Ozambique, watch yourself because some of the side effects that are happening to a lot of people, how can I say this, are not good?
You can't quote me on that.
Welcome.
Welcome to chewing the fat.
Fat 5 Plus.
You know the phrase, you've made too much money.
I mean, I think it was Barack Obama many years ago told us that at some point you've made too much money.
Now, he doesn't believe that, or at least he hasn't made too much money yet.
He's only made a couple hundred million since his presidency.
But I was reading about Pablo Escobar and his fortune was just enormous.
I mean, he was probably the richest person on the planet at the time that he ruled his.
cartel. There's no
question. I mean, he had so much stuff.
He built a prison
to his own specifications.
So he surrendered to
Columbia in 1991, but
they let him build his own prison.
He had a sauna,
a nightclub, waterfall,
soccer field, jacuzzi. Yeah,
nothing says prison like that.
And then he had a couple of submarines
that were just, I mean,
that's how he was smuggling cocaine from
Columbia to the United States in his in his submarines massive I mean I'm pretty sure that still goes on
he had a 7,000 acre estate with a dinosaur park hacienda napolez cost 63 million and included a
private airstrip a bullring lake life-sized dinosaur statues made from real prehistoric bones
pretty sweet right there I mean you can pull that off which
He could. He had an entire Caribbean island, which he bought Norman's Kay in the Bahamas for cocaine smuggling.
He had his own airstrip, refrigerated cocaine warehouse, attack dogs, and personal radar system on the island.
Got to love that. He had 142 planes, 30 helicopters. That's all, that's what they seized when they arrest him.
32 yachts, 141 properties from him in the 1980s. He had his own private Air Force.
bigger than some countries, yeah, no kidding.
He burned money.
Remember, we've all heard the story.
He spent a thousand a month just on rubber bands to wrap his cash.
And he once famously burned $2 million in a fire to keep his daughter warm overnight
because it was starting to get cold and all he had was stacks of money.
So what the hell, let's burn him.
That is incredible.
At some point, somebody's made too much money.
I mean, he was just in charge of the entire cartel and his empire was monstrous.
And look, they've all made huge amounts of money still, and they're still making money.
And they're busting people.
The one guy they just arrested, he's supposed to pay back, I think, like $12 billion or something.
Yeah, just pay that.
Just pay the $12 billion back.
Well, I mean, that means he has a lot more than $12 billion.
So, I mean, that's just incredible, incredible amounts of money.
And apparently, you know, Donald Trump is stopping all that.
Okay.
If he says so, then I guess we have to believe it.
But I kind of feel like the cartels are going to find a way to continue to keep the drugs flowing into the United States.
That's just me, though.
I mean, I hope it never happens.
I don't want it to happen.
That's for sure.
And then we had, I said I was reading a story about Luca Donchick, NBA star.
and his girlfriend that he's had, I guess, I don't know if they were married or not.
They have a couple of kids, and she had been with him, I don't know, since high school.
So maybe they were married.
I'm not sure.
But now she wants to settle from the star child custody.
And you know what would help that is $50 million.
$50. You know, Luca, you got to have a couple kids from you, and $50 million would settle that child custody.
Apparently, according to this, she needs $40 million to go to her and continue the lifestyle that she's become accustomed to.
And $10 million would take care of the children. Yeah, that would work. No problem.
So she's, and she also wants to cut down the time.
that he gets to see the kids from two days a week to just one.
That's all she wants, though.
She's been with him.
They started dating as teens.
I don't know if they were married or not.
Yeah, looking at all the things talking about Luca,
it seems that he's engaged to Anna Maria Goltas,
but they are not yet married.
So they aren't married.
They have a couple of kids.
And now she's like, you know what?
you just signed all these big contracts and you're worth all this money.
You know, I don't want to be with you anymore, but I have these two kids.
So you know what?
$50 million will help out.
Yeah, me too, Luca.
Me too.
$50 million would be sweet.
I mean, I guess maybe I could hope to win the lottery, which I do.
The mega millions is up to $70 million and a $29.7 million.
cash payout. That drawing is tonight. For those of you listening live, it is Friday, August 7th,
2026. And then you have the power ball. That drawing is tomorrow night, Saturday, the 8th of August,
26. That powerball drawing is worth $8.56 million for the jackpot. Only $372.0 million is the cash pay.
So good luck.
I would like to win that, and then I wouldn't need Lucas 50 million.
If I win one of those, well, if I win the mega and only get $29.7 million,
I'm going to need another 20 from Luca to make it, you know, the $50 million.
But if I win the Powerball, then I don't need any money from Luca.
I can just take the $372 million on the cash payout, and then we're good.
Luca, you're on your own after that.

I don't have a MySpace account or I should say I don't remember my MySpace account
but it looks like the current owners of MySpace have a plan to relaunch it.
So that's good news right.
I mean, heck, we all want to have MySpace back.
So the Chris and Tim Vanderhook, who bought the site alongside Black Snake Moan star Justin Timberlake.
Oh, this black snake moan.
Yeah, got it.
I was just reading this top teaser for the first time for $35 million in 2011.
Okay, so they didn't give a specific timeline.
for any of the details, of course not, for the new MySpace that would look like they've already revamped it once, I thought, in 2013.
And I feel like they redesigned it and everything, all the advertisers went away.
And then they were done.
So I guess we're going to try to bring that back again.
Okay.
I hope it works out for you.
I don't know how to make that happen for you.
Because it seems like the social media platforms out there now are the ones that everyone uses.
X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok.
And I do have a TikTok too.
I don't know if I think my, it's a private account.
I said it.
I finally set one up so that I could watch.
People kept sending me TikTok videos.
I couldn't watch them because I didn't have a TikTok account.
TikTok, TikTok, same thing.
So I set up a TikTok account so that I can watch the stupid videos everybody sends me.
So if you're sending me TikTok videos, keep coming because I do.
I'm able to watch them now.
At some point, I'll open up my TikTok for a non-private account.
But for right now, it's just there for you to send me videos from TikTok so that I can watch them.
Thank you.
We were just talking about Pablo Escobar, and I see where one of his hippos that he had,
that he had brought in to his zoo,
I just had a baby.
So there's a new cocaine hippo.
And that's linked to Pablo Escobar.
That's awesome.
So apparently, Columbia said they've rescued a newborn hippopotamus, found alone by fishermen in the banks of a river, and showing signs of malnutrition.
Oh, no.
So it's a tarred.
No, it shouldn't.
It's a struggling hippo that the parents didn't want anything to do about.
Okay. So at one time, the cocaine hippos were all there and they went to take care of them and they didn't let some go and they shouldn't have. And they've been on the hunt for them forever. I mean, the hippos got separated and now they've changed the environment of the river. They've done everything. But this particular hippo had advanced dehydration and malnutrition. Yeah, if it's a little baby, it needs grownups to help them out. That's the way it works.
so it was sent to a hippo sanctuary at Hacienda Napolis
and the estate was previously owned by Pablo Escobar
and which is now a theme park
so they're trying to
trying to take care of a little baby cocaine hippo isn't that good
I hope it works out I hope we just
why don't we just catch them and send them to zoos
there's got other zoos all over America that would take some hippos
aren't there
nobody wants to spend the money on the shipping of
of hippos, I'm sure.
But this is a special cocaine hippo.
And it's probably
maybe if the parents didn't want it,
why do we want it?
It could be handicapped.
And that could be a problem.
But, you know, hey, I want the cocaine hippo
to make it.
Speaking of animals, I see
Uganda Park Rangers are relocating
giraffes to escape
the oil drill.
that's going on. Rangers are relocating 12 critically endangered Nubian giraffes from Uganda's largest
national park, which also holds roughly about 40% of the country's oil deposits. So a French
company began drilling in 2023 and has actively increased the drilling in recent months. And so
the giraffes are really struggling, I guess, to find some refuge.
from the oil drilling.
So they're being transported about 65 miles away by truck to the AGI Wildlife Reserve,
which is trying to rebuild its wildlife population after poaching and political instability
wars, nearly wiped out the population.
So hopefully the giraffes will be okay in the Ajaie Wildlife Reserve in, you guys.
You got to move the giraffes.
We're drilling for oil.
We need the oil.
The giraffe's got to go.
You see where they're finding sunken World War II ships and woolly mammoth bones in the Danube River in Europe
because the water levels are so low that they're finding all these World War II ships, Nazi battleships.
Pretty incredible.
These woolly mammoth bones have emerged during the summer drought in Eastern Europe.
Pretty amazing.
20 of the warships still equipped with weapons from Nazi Germany's Black Sea Fleet can be seen sticking out of the river.
Pretty incredible.
And then I'm sure, you know, with the woolly mammoth bones, we'll find all those and put those in a museum for sure.
But there's no doubt about that.
So the German commanders deliberately sank up to 200 ships back in September of 1944 in the Danube gorge as they came under Soviet fire.
Wow.
We'll see if there's anything worth saving in those ships.
I saw where the TSA stopped a guy with cannonballs.
And I thought, cannonballs, why would someone, how hard.
I mean, think of the size of a cannonball.
But these were just small.
You know, I was thinking of these giant cannonballs.
But apparently these were five small cannonballs wrapped in paper towels with the largest being the size of a grapefruit and the smallest only about an inch wide.
Oh, okay.
So they didn't know what it was, really.
They did, of course, the TSA, oh, no, I never seen anything quite like that.
What is that?
seen grenades and training munitions, but never a stolen artifact like that.
Well, apparently, the cannonballs were stolen from a nearby Fort Morgan,
which is guarded Mobile Bay since it was completed in 1834, played a major role in the Civil War,
and the fort is now a museum operated by Alabama Historical Commission.
So this guy stole the cannonballs from there.
Apparently they called in the bomb experts.
I mean, it's a cannonball.
The cannonball doesn't explode, okay?
But they didn't take off or anything.
So they did.
They were happy that they found the cannonballs and got them back to the museum.
Pretty incredible that the TSA actually caught it.
You know, there's plenty of stuff that get through.
No, I mean, they do a great job.
That's all.
What am I saying?
Of course they caught it because you're not going to get anything by those TSA agents.
I'll tell you that.
Nice try by the guy, though. Stealing the small cannonballs from the museum?
Kind of a good find.
I am surprised it didn't make it through TSA.
But what are you going to do?
You tried and now you're busted.
Sorry about it.
And not that it really matters, but the Carolina Panthers won the game 33 to 30.
Many of the big-named high-profile starters didn't play in the game.
But it does mean that the NFL is bad.
back and it felt good to have the NFL back just a just a little bit that means that football is back
that's what it means and that's why it felt so good and i see that carry underwood is back as well
for sunday night football yeah been waiting all day for sunday night baby uh it's nice to have
that open uh that open is great the monday night football is open open is great uh just a monday night football
and Sunday night football.
Their opens are, it's awesome.
And the new opener will debut September 13th.
I have the Dallas Cowboys matchup
against the New York Football Giants.
So she is ready to go.
She's been the voice.
I didn't realize she's been the voice since 2013,
since Faith Hill left.
Wow, that seems like it just happened.
But anyway, Carrie's well worth it.
And many people are saying,
Hey, NFL.
Why don't you let Carrie Underwood be
half-time show and that way it'll, you know, make up a little bit for last year's blunder.
It's not a bad idea.
Carrie Underwood could definitely pull off a halftime show for the NFL, and that would be awesome to have that happen.
And I'm a fan of Carrie Underwood, you know, since the, you know, stupid TV days of American Idol.
but I also
I saw an interview with, I talked about this this morning
on Pat Unleashed,
it's one of my favorite things about Carrie Underwood.
I saw an interview with her somewhere
and she was in her house
and she was in her closet,
which is just a monster walk-in closet, of course,
as big as some people's homes,
which she deserves, good for her.
But in the closet
was a washer and dryer.
And I thought, genius, just the small ones.
You know, a pair of washer
and dryer, a small one with the cabinet top up on top so you could fold the clothes up on top
in the middle of the closet.
That is genius.
I love her for that.
I don't know if it was her idea.
I don't know whose idea it was, but I give Kerry the credit, and that's a genius idea.
So if you have an opportunity to ever build a home and you're building a closet for your
wife and you, for that matter, just make sure that if it's big enough, you put in that
washer and dryer in the closet.
Then you don't have to haul the clothes back and forth.
You can do the unmentionables there in the closet.
What a great idea.
And speaking of football, I see where Disney said on their earnings call that they had
already sold out the ad spots for next February's Super Bowl.
The ads have already been sold out.
And they were asking like $10 million for a 30-second commercial.
So I don't know if they got that for all the commercial sites.
They may end up having to add some new pre-rolls.
Maybe we put another commercial.
You know what?
We can slide a commercial for you on the screen when the players are running in and out of their huddle.
Something.
There's got to be new ways to create for some new ad campaigns.
But they've already sold them out the main ad campaign for the next year's Super Bowl.
pretty amazing good for them okay who died oh no before we do who died today uh Perez
hilton uh still alive uh has not died yet but he is in the hospital and man he tried to harm
himself i don't know if you saw the video uh many people you might not have seen the live video
the live feed that he was doing uh he got his children out of the apartment and then he was
busy cutting himself all over his body i mean he's lucky to be alive and uh he's in the hospital
and he is recuperating.
And so the family is, you know, asking for prayers for Perez.
Yeah, good luck, Perez, because it's not a good thing that you did.
And I don't want if I'm, I know those kids are adopted, I believe.
So perhaps they need to be adopted by someone else because I don't want them necessarily around you.
But that's just me.
What do I know?
All right. Who died today? Who died today?
Well, let's begin with Mary Rivera. Mary Rivera, you knew her as the actress who played Ned Leeds Filipino grandmother in Spider-Man, No Way Home.
She has died at the age of 82. Now, apparently, I don't know why we're finding out about this now.
I guess news takes a long time to get here from Hawaii, but she died April 15th.
in Honolulu.
Family member said that she had suffered a stroke,
and doctors warned the family of her condition.
It was extremely serious.
The doctors told them that even if Mary emerged from the coma,
her prognosis would not be good,
so the family made the difficult decision
to remove her from life support.
That's such a difficult decision,
and so many families have to make that every day.
It's very sad.
They detailed how she got the part.
They just encouraged her to do it.
Her, she was a friend of theirs was looking through Facebook, and they saw the ad for the casting call.
And it asked for all the, everything that she had.
And so they told her, you need to go there and tell them you'll do the part.
And she did, and they did.
And so she got the part.
Really kind of cool.
And they said that she's worn many hats over the years.
She was a radio broadcaster, a teacher.
She was most notably a mother and a grandmother.
But it was great that she was in Spider-Man, too.
And look, the people who are behind the scenes,
and they're not really behind the scenes,
but all the people behind the scenes and the supporting roles,
those are what makes the movies great, right?
And not only the big-time stars,
but the entire process make the movies great.
So rest in peace to Mary Rivera dead at the age of 80.
She survived by her husband, her children, 11 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Then we have Nathan Smith. Nathan Smith. He died at the age of 45, rest in peace.
Nathan was in a crash. This is in the UK. He was on Shelton New Road, and he was hit by a tractor.
and so they took him to the hospital and they couldn't revive him.
So rest in peace to Nathan Smith, dead at the age of 40.
Don't look at me.
Like, you don't know who Nathan Smith is.
He's a musician, a self-taught bass player.
He's part of a number of bands in the city.
And he, in Cliff Vale.
And he ran a music studio with his friend Tom Bath.
a recording studio in Longton.
So rest in peace to Nathan Smith dead at the age of 45.
Then we have the two men who were put to death by execution in the state of Florida.
I don't think we mentioned this yet here on this program.
But Florida executed two guys.
I don't know, a couple weeks ago, a week and a half ago, something like that.
July 28th, yes.
So, geez, less than July 28th.
Not that long ago.
They had both executions on the same day.
They executed a former police officer, James Aaron Duckett, 68.
They juiced him around noon, and then they swept everything up,
and they juiced Dominic Ante in the Oceone, who was 80,
and he was convicted his ex-girlfriend's parents of killing them in 1986.
So then they were done.
Only two that day.
Yeah, they were both given lethal injection.
They had thought, they originally thought,
the Dominic is too old, too old.
Florida's like, you know, he's not too old.
We're going to go ahead and get rid of them.
They've been on death row way too long.
We need to get rid of them.
So rest in peace, I guess.
Somewhat, maybe a little to James Aaron Duckett, 68, and to Dominic Anthony Ocean 80,
who were killed on the same day in the state of Florida, executed because of their crimes.
Rest in peace to them.
All right, it's Friday.
Let's, it's Friday.
Let's talk about executing some prisoners.
So rest and peace to all.
of those people. Let's get out of here with the joke of the day. It's been a long day for me, man.
I did Pat Unleashed. I did Glenbeck Radio. Then I'm doing this. I'm working this tongue to the bone
for you. Okay. Working this. So you're welcome. I mean, I appreciate you guys coming along for the
ride and all. But this tongue has been worked to the bone for you today. Okay. So, all right,
let's get out of here with the joke of the day. A couple of jokes from King of the Dan.
joke calendar, 2026.
This one is, it's kind of like, my favorite exercise is a combination of a lunge and a crunch.
Really?
Yeah, it's called lunch.
That is a pretty good exercise, actually.
And then I'll give you this one for the road.
What type of music do the planets enjoy?
I don't know.
What type of music do the planets enjoy?
Neptunes.
You gotta see what they're trying?
No, no, you got it.
