Starting point is 00:00:00 And now, a Blaze Media podcast. I know times are tough. So I've got a way for you that you could possibly win $2 million. And it's not the lotto. The U.S. Secret Service has offered a bounty on two Ukrainians that the agency says are among its most wanted cybercriminals. The suspects, Artum Radichenko, oh, it's not Radiceenko. Artem Radchenko and Olexandra
Starting point is 00:00:34 Iromenko, both 28. They are charged with hacking into the Securities and Exchange Commission's data system and earning more than $4.5 million by selling and trading on proprietary information. First time that the agency has issued a monetary award. So good luck. Look, all you have to do is
Starting point is 00:00:59 anyone with information leading to the arrest slash conviction of these two cyber criminals may receive up to a million dollars for each. So it's all you got to do. And yeah, you got to shout at two million. Good luck. Good luck. Welcome to chewing the fat. So the great.
Starting point is 00:01:36 Governor of New York, Andrew Cuomo, has tweeted out this morning, for those of you listening live, the 23rd of July 2020, that there should be a national mask mandate. That's interesting, isn't it? That's interesting. I have plenty of COVID-19 news we'll get to later on in the show, but that will tell you the direction that we're headed in more than any of these stories. the great governor of New York. There should be a national masked mandate. That is interesting, isn't it? In another story, we told you earlier in the week about the FDA recalling some hand sanitizers that were dangerous. Well, they've expanded their recall list to 75 brands across the U.S.
Starting point is 00:02:32 Incredible. Some were sold at Walmart, Costco, other national change. They could possibly have toxic levels of wood alcohol in them that can cause injury or death. If methanol is absorbed through the skin, it can cause blindness, hospitalizations, or death, if ingested. Remember, we talked about ingesting your hand sanitizer, probably not the best thing to do.
Starting point is 00:03:04 I know you want to be sanitized. You want to be, you feel safe, you want to feel healthy, but don't ingest your hand sanitizer. I mean, I would tell you that anyway, whether the FDA is looking to recall, the ones that have tested positive for methanol and wood alcohol, but they're reminding you that you don't want to ingest it. With 75 on the list now.
Starting point is 00:03:34 Wow. Blumen products, B-L-U-M-E-N, Clare and Danver instant hand sanitizer, Modessa instant hand sanitizer, moisturizers, and vitamin E, hello, hand sanitizer, assured hello hand sanitizer, and the list goes on. I will, you know, I'll just tweet the story that has the list from the FDA so you can take a look and be safe if you have any of these products in your home. as always they tell you to either throw them away or bring them back to the place of purchase. Now, it brings up an interesting question. Many of the products that we buy in today's world, they say you can't return, right? So if it's part of a recall, if I want my money back, they better give me my money back.
Starting point is 00:04:24 Or at least credit me. At least credit me. That's an interesting thought. Another interesting thought. You know what? It's an interesting day with interesting thought because it's a big deal today. I mean, they don't want you to buy anything that you can return. And if you have to, tough.
Starting point is 00:04:44 So good luck. Good luck with that. And look, if you're not ingesting your hand sanitizer, which is advised from both the FDA and chewing the fat, I want you to realize that sure they're, you know, we're happy that our kids aren't in school. Sure, we're happy they're just staying home. They're not hanging out with their friends or other nasty, dirty little kids from the school. But now that we've been apart from each other,
Starting point is 00:05:20 it's possible that your kids could have super lice. Yes, super lice. Look, in the hair. It's a roach. No. It's a, it's just a, it's just a fly. No. It's super lice.
Starting point is 00:05:37 Wow. Okay. Okay. I was school lice checkers. Boy, what a great job that is, huh? You know, look, job is a job. And if they say, hey, you're unemployed. We got a job for you.
Starting point is 00:05:57 going to be the lice checker at school. That's your job. You get to sit and back and we're going to send the kids in a line down to you and you got to check for lice. All right, fine. I'll put the gloves on. Let's check them. Get up here, Bobby.
Starting point is 00:06:08 Let me check your heads. Oh, super lice kid. Super lice kid. And ship him off to the little room in the corner so that they get away. But there's all kinds of infections to worry about, all kinds of little things to do it. And you can obviously, you know, there's stuff you can. take to kill the bugs other than shaving the kid's hair off. But just be careful that we are now creating super lice.
Starting point is 00:06:38 That's one thing I was trying to think of I've ever had lice. I've had a lot. The joke is I've had everything, right? But I don't know that I've actually, now I haven't had lice. I've had, uh, well, we don't need to go in to what I've had. But just know that if you have lice, there's two, phases, whether it's just, you know, the everyday over-the-counter lice, or if it's super lice, they lay eggs, and then, so you kill the ones, you know, if you catch it and you say,
Starting point is 00:07:11 ooh, lice kid, lice kid, and you put them in the corner, and then, you know, you shampoo his hair and comb out the hair to get rid of the lice that's there. They have already laid eggs into your skin, your skull, and they hatch in seven to 10 days. And of course, that's may hatch. So, you know,
Starting point is 00:07:32 your shampoo that's supposed to kill them, might not kill them, and they would hatch in seven to ten days, which is why they're getting,
Starting point is 00:07:41 uh, developing resistance to the other bacterial, or antibacterial stuff you're shampooing with, which creates super rice. And so, I mean,
Starting point is 00:07:55 you could be attacked. Your family could be attacked. It's dangerous. It's dangerous out there. If you grow super lice. So just be careful. Be careful. Make sure your kids do not.
Starting point is 00:08:12 Well, you don't want them to get lice, period. But for sure, you don't want them to get super lice. So we talked about it, I don't know, a couple weeks ago about, or whenever they first started talking about the new Walmart Plus. Now, they're saying, saying it's supposed to launch, you know, sometime in July. Well, we're, you know, at the end of July. So people are getting ready and excited and just getting goosebumps over Walmart
Starting point is 00:08:39 Plus. And are you going to become a member of Walmart Plus? It's supposed to cost $98 a year. Some of the things that they are offering, remember, was same-day delivery on groceries and other items, discounts on gas, early action. access to product deals, reserved delivery spots, and open slot notifications. And they're thinking about bringing back the scan and go for if you go in the store, which is, you know, it's kind of a cool thing.
Starting point is 00:09:13 I don't even know why they don't have it at Walmart. I have it at Sam's Club. But anyway, you know, you get the app and you're able to go through a boop, boop, boom, boop, and ring up and you just get checked at the door. You don't have to go through the cash register, which makes sense to bring it back, since they're getting rid of the front register people. I almost said, you know, the register girls. You know, those little register people up front.
Starting point is 00:09:40 They're getting rid of those for, you know, for you to scan yourself. So you might as well have the scan and go on your phone too, except then that's another person up front, right? I mean, that's a, they've got, they're going to have their health guy. You got the greeter. And then you're going to have the check.
Starting point is 00:09:56 I mean, holy cow, they're going to have to open up the lobby just for, you know, you can only go in over there and say a Lord of the Greeter, make sure he sees you. Before that, you got to get to the health guy on the dark shirt, and then on the way out, you've got to get with the checker for the scan and go checker. But the same day delivery on groceries, that's kind of worth $98 bucks a year. In my head, that's kind of worth it. Plus, do you get discounts on gas? I don't know if the discounts are going to be as much,
Starting point is 00:10:29 and if the discounts are as much as what you get for a Sam's Club membership. Right, you save quite a bit of money over the, in the year for Sam's Club, no question. And with Sam's Club, they give you, and this is kind of a, you know, cute little thing that, you know, you're already paying for it. So, duh. But they give you bonus points for, you know, the amount of items that you buy. And I don't know how they work it out. I'm sure that there's, you know,
Starting point is 00:10:55 information on how they exactly work it out. But they give you bonus points on your Sam's Club card. So if you don't use them, like when you check out, they always say, why don't you use your bonus points to save money? The answer is no. Because by the end of the year, there's money enough in there to re-up your Sam's card, which, you know, really is probably why they're doing it in the first place.
Starting point is 00:11:18 I mean, that's what I'm just saying that's what we do, you know? So it's almost like it's free. So I don't know if they're going to give you bonus points on your Walmart plus card or not. So by the end of the year, you just, you know, yeah, we'll re-up and take the money out of the bonus points. But the same day delivery. So you don't have to go to the store. You don't have to drive and use gas to go to the store and get your stuff. You just type it in and they're at the front door.
Starting point is 00:11:51 Discounts on gas. those two alone may be worth the $98 a year. You know, the Amazon Prime, the thing that makes that worth it is the streaming video service and the next day delivery or two-day delivery, right? I mean, you can get the products right now. That makes it worth it. Of course, they're telling you you get good deals on the products and good prices or whatever. I don't know that that's always true.
Starting point is 00:12:21 it most definitely isn't in my estimation and some of the products that we've purchased, but it does make it worth it that it's here. I don't have to wait 10 days. I don't have to pay $1,000 for it to ship here in two days. It's part of the deal. And I like that a lot about Amazon Prime. Sam's Club has the free shipping as well, but that's also delayed. That's not like next day or two day.
Starting point is 00:12:47 Yeah, we'll get it to you. You know, in the next few days. just keep an eye on your email we'll keep you updated on where it's at if it's ever going to make it to you it used to be you think hey it's going to be here in seven to ten days that's great
Starting point is 00:13:05 and now with Amazon it's like stuff never gets here from them it takes forever but Jeff it'll be here like in four days I know I don't even know how I'm going to live without the product for the next three days. So,
Starting point is 00:13:24 again, the same day delivery on groceries and discounts on gas may well make the Walmart Plus worth every penny. So we'll see. And I'll tell you who isn't going to be concerned about the $98 a year for Walmart Plus
Starting point is 00:13:45 is baseball star mooky bets. What you haven't heard. of Mooky? Yeah, he plays for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Now, he's playing right now for, he's got a one-year deal that he's playing through for $27 million. That's for this year. He's playing that out. But he just signed a new deal for 13 years, a 13-year deal with the Los Angeles Dodgers. $400, that's what it really is, the Los Angeles dollars.
Starting point is 00:14:20 Even with California taxes, this is not a bad deal for Mookie. 13 years, $360 million. So with the $27 million this year and the, well, it's a 12-year deal. So I said it's a 13-year deal. It's a 12-year deal for the 365 million. And he's still playing out the one-year deal this year for 27 million. So total is 13 years with the Dodgers for $392 million. That's not bad, my friends.
Starting point is 00:15:01 That's not bad. How many of us, I mean, we're trying to get $2 million for turning in a couple of cyber criminals. And Mookie is, you know, got the next 13 years of his life planned out playing for the Los Angeles Dodgers. That's not bad. Now, there was no info. on what's guaranteed, what's not guaranteed, if there was a signing bonus or what have you. So I'm sure that all $392 million isn't going to be guaranteed.
Starting point is 00:15:32 Sad face. But remember Trout, when he signed his deal, he got a record $65 million signing bonus. So I'm sure that Mookie is going to want to beat that deal. That is not bad. So even if, right, even if the $392 million, you know, isn't guaranteed, right? So he gets, what, maybe a $70 million signing bonus, so he becomes the highest paid signing bonus guy.
Starting point is 00:16:11 And he's guaranteed, what, $100 million? Like our man, for the man, from Kansas City, uh, who just, you know, was, is guaranteed.
Starting point is 00:16:24 That's the money you care about. I mean, the 30, 392 million is great. And, you know, it's a good deal. And, you know,
Starting point is 00:16:31 you really, it sounds great, but it's the guaranteed money. That really matters because you get hurt. And it's, you know, it's possible, right?
Starting point is 00:16:40 I mean, it's more than possible. You're going to get injured. And not so much in baseball. Uh, your career can be, you know, it's really something.
Starting point is 00:16:50 if it gets shortened because of injury, but if it does, it does. And then you're out. You want the guaranteed money. So no matter what happens, you want to be able to say, yeah, well, you know, I break my ankle rounding second base.
Starting point is 00:17:03 I'm still going to get $110 million. And I had my signing bonus, which is already in the bank and invested. That's a good life, my friends. That's a good life. Before we go to the break room, we'll do a little crime talk. And I really find
Starting point is 00:17:20 this story is just such a, I mean, I think to myself, it happens all the time. So a Florida man is accused of taking at least $70,000. And, you know, it's only 70 grand. It's only 70 grand. And kickbacks for steering urine test to a drug testing lab. And I thought, well, that's like a middleman. That's a salesman. That's a, that's your deal, right?
Starting point is 00:17:47 That's your, you're a manager. So Daniel Martin Cain, 35, arrested last week, charged with six counts of patient brokering, according to the Delray Beach Police Department. The investigation began last year, which seems like so long ago in 2019. It's still only 2020, by the way. They went after another guy, and he told investors, investigators, that he got kickbacks from the Pennsylvania-based lab Genesis Diagnostics to steer urine test its way. Oh, so why is that wrong? Like if I am a doctor and I say, hey, we need a urine test.
Starting point is 00:18:35 Now, if you're telling people you need a urine test when you don't need a urine test, that's a problem. But if you really need someone to get a test and you say, here, go get a test. I can't say, well, you should get your test here. And if I do and the lab says, hey, thanks for sending people here. Here's a couple of bucks. I mean, it just seems like that's a regular thing to do. However, the other guy that got into trouble said that he got $772,000. So my man.
Starting point is 00:19:19 My man that just got arrested was robbed. He only got 70 grand. This guy's getting $772,000. That's amazing. So he got $150,000 per test and then gave $125,000 to his conduit at some home. So he was only, and he made $700,000 from that, almost $800,000. And he was still given $125,000. it away from what he got kickback?
Starting point is 00:19:52 That's a lot of tests, my friend. That's a lot of test. So anyway, apparently in Florida. And I lived in Florida for a while. And I kind of remember this. I don't, it doesn't ring a bell with me, but it's illegal for a lab or a health care provider to either offer or to pay a sober home or drug treatment center, a bonus. or what they call a bribe for the referral of patients.
Starting point is 00:20:24 Huh. So if I run a drug treatment center, I can't give money to the doctor who says, hey, go to Jeffie's sober home. Because I'm not supposed to say go to Jeffrey's sober home. I'm just supposed to say, hey, you need to go to a sober home and take urine tests every day.
Starting point is 00:20:52 Friend, you know, and I don't care where you go. Well, of course the doctors care where you go. They have that kind of deal with hospitals all the time. All right. I mean, they have certain practice privileges at hospitals all the time. You think they're not getting money from the hospital for that? Yes, the hospital's given the docs,
Starting point is 00:21:13 they're okay to work there because they want the doctor. to bring their patients there. This is a weird kind of thing. It's not affecting the tests any. It's really, really, really kind of weird. Anyway, if your doctor says, hey, I want you to go get a urine test and tells you to go to a specific lab, make sure, well, I mean, under the law, you should report them,
Starting point is 00:21:42 and you should absolutely report them. If you, you know, don't want to follow the law to the law to the letter, you may say, Hey, Doc, how much do you get for me going to this lab? Because I want my own cut. Let's go to the break room. All right, I need something cold to drink in this break room today as it is.
Starting point is 00:22:13 I'll tell you that. My gosh. So good. So, uh, where you, I mean, be sure to subscribe to chewing the fat.
Starting point is 00:22:32 Let's get this out of the way right now. If you're listening to the show right now and you're not a subscriber to this podcast, become a subscriber. It's very simple. But for sure, Monday through Friday. And then sometimes it give you a special, you know, Saturday, inside podcast or an American Dream podcast. So you can look forward to that as well.

You can follow me on social media at Jeffrey JFR on Twitter, Jeff Fisher Radio on Facebook and Instagram, Jeff Fisher Radio on Parlor. I mean, I'm everywhere. Just for you, I'm everywhere.

And also because there's blazedtv.com. And the members are part of a group that don't want voices silenced. Okay. So now's the time to become a member of the Blaze TV family. Go to a blazTV.com slash Jeffey.
Starting point is 00:24:19 And you can get $10 off for a year subscription. There's a 30-day free trial. do. There's a deal for a three-year subscription. There's, uh, just now's the time to do it. So blazedtv.com slash jeffey, uh, get you the $10 off for a year's subscription. If they ask for a promo code, use Jeffie, J-E, F-F-Y. But you should be good if you go to blaisTV.com slash Jeffrey. A Jeffie slash Jeffrey.
Starting point is 00:24:50 No, it's not Jeffrey. slash Jeffie. J-E-F-F-F-Y-F-F-F-E-F-F-E. F F. Y. Thank you. All right. So the Jelaine Maxwell, Jeffrey Epstein saga continues across America.
Starting point is 00:25:05 And we have where President Trump wished her well at a press conference. Of course, he's doing his, uh, he's doing his press conference and he gets asked about Jolene Maxwell. And he says, hey, I met her a couple times. I guess they lived in Palm Beach.
Starting point is 00:25:21 You know, I wish her well. I haven't followed the case. I wished her well. Once he's supposed to say? Is he supposed to say, uh, well, she's in jail now? Uh, hope nobody kills her. Well, she's in jail now. So she's guilty. Forget what, uh, the law that I'm supposed to follow of innocent until proven guilty. Uh, you know, uh, sure she's accused of all this horrible stuff, but hasn't been found guilty of anything. I hope she burns on a wooden stick. What's he supposed to say? You know, I haven't been following the case. I wish her well. She's already in jail.
Starting point is 00:25:55 She's not going anywhere. She's been, she was denied bail. She's in jail for at least a year now until the trial, which I find really, really hard to believe. But that's the case. And so, I just, I'm tired of sticking up for Donald Trump because everyone wants to beat him up. No matter what, he's damned if he does and he damned if he doesn't,
Starting point is 00:26:22 which is why I try to stay away from, you know, Trump news on the podcast because it's just so damn frustrating. You know, I don't know what the guy is supposed to say. I wish her well. She's already in jail. Good luck. Do it.
Starting point is 00:26:36 Whatever. It just doesn't make any sense to me. And then we get the news where we have reports of her and Jeffrey allegedly looking at videos of Prince Andrew and some you know, naked girl running around
Starting point is 00:26:55 and they said that was fun and they just laughed at it and had guffaws at it. And you thought, well, there are more videos of everyone? Well, I have an interview with up on my YouTube page and on my podcast page with Dylan Howard. And he is the author
Starting point is 00:27:17 of Dead Men Tell No Tales about Jeffrey Epstein. He's also the author of, you know, plenty of other books, but I had an opportunity to interview him last week in a fascinating interview. And we get
Starting point is 00:27:33 into a little bit about if there is video of any of Jeffrey Epstein's or hers romps.
Starting point is 00:27:50 We call it, I don't want to call him Roms. sexual escapades that some may or may not have been illegal. And he had this to say in the interview. Well, we know that the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Department in its investigation in the 2000s Uncovered Home Videos at Epstein's Mansion, they've never been released to the public. In fact, myself and my research team and co-authors are actively in litigation
Starting point is 00:28:19 against the FBI to have the entire file released under freedom of information laws. What they have provided to date is embarrassingly inadequate in response to an FOIA in the sense that they've redacted so much information. So we know that those tapes exist. So there are tapes and we, you know, obviously he, you know, wants to have them so that the world can see them. So it's kind of interesting, right? We'll see if there's more out there.
Starting point is 00:28:56 And what she knows. And that interview is fascinating. We talk about, you know, everything from Jeffrey to the Royals. And Dylan is a fascinating guy. A fascinating guy. Now, we also have, you know, information. You know, we can talk a little Trump if you want.
Starting point is 00:29:14 Don't look at me. You're looking at me like, oh, I know you don't talk about Trump, but, you know, you're talking about them. So we mentioned about the press conference and all of that. We can talk about, you know, the White House. All things, Trump has a record 200 million combined social media.
Starting point is 00:29:34 I mean, that's pretty impressive. That's pretty impressive. The social media profiles surpassed 200 million follower mark at the height of the coronavirus pandemic. And that's, we'll see, that's what that Trump's. personal Twitter account, POTUS Twitter account, White House account. That's pretty impressive. That's pretty darn impressive. Right?
Starting point is 00:29:58 Over 200 million? Yeah. It's just a little bit more than what Jeffie JFR has. But I'm getting there. And as long as we're, you know, talking about this is the kind of reporting that drives me insane about Trump and Trump's people forever, which gets us back to, you know, what's he supposed to say about Jelaine? If he says,
Starting point is 00:30:23 oh, I want her to fry. Oh, Trump wants somebody that's only accused of something to fry. And then he wishes her well, and it's all hell from there too. But the UK ambassador from the United States, Woody Johnson, and we're part, owner of one of the owners of the New York Jets. He obviously has not had anything to do with the Jets management
Starting point is 00:30:43 since he took the ambassadorship to the United Kingdom. You know, he's still part owner, but he doesn't make any day-to-day decisions at all as part of the deal. But it's being reported that he made racist generalizations about black men and questioned why the black community celebrates Black History Month. And also had comments about women's looks that have been cringe-worthy, according to CNN. I can't find what he said. anywhere. I just see that. The cringeworthy
Starting point is 00:31:20 comments about women's looks. He's questioned why the black community celebrates Black History Month. I don't know what he said. It's also reported that he said some pretty sexist and racist things. Okay, what was it? So it's reported and we're supposed to believe that this guy is the biggest
Starting point is 00:31:40 dirtbag ever. And we don't know why Trump made him an ambassador to the United Kingdom. He's a big shot white white white whitey that owns the New York Jets Mr. Rich guy I just I can't I can't take it much more can't take it much more It just that's the kind of thing that makes me not want to talk about you know politics and Trump's and we're getting close to the election now or getting it's just it's going to be with it's been all consuming so I promise you promise you that I will try my hands
Starting point is 00:32:16 hardest to not make it all consuming. Okay? I'll tell you what you need to know. I'll report what you need to know of the most important stuff. But to be all consuming is just, I don't know. I don't know if we can do that. I don't know if I can do it, let alone you. So, you know, I'll do my best.
Starting point is 00:32:39 So earlier in the podcast, I mentioned the great governor from New York, Andrew Cuomo, and his tweet that told us, that he's in favor. There should be a national masked mandate. That's great. Thank you, Governor. But also, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut are part of a crew now that are saying 31 states. If you travel to either New York, New Jersey, or Connecticut, you have to be quarantined.
Starting point is 00:33:23 Wait. What? Yeah, that's right. 31 states are now required to quarantine for 14 days when traveling to New York, New Jersey, or Connecticut. Wow. Why isn't it just everybody? If you come to one of our states from another state, you've got to quarantine.
Starting point is 00:33:45 It should be. I mean, 31 states. Come on now. Alaska, Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Missouri, Mississippi, Montana, North Carolina, North Dakota, Nebraska, Nebraska, New Mexico, Nevada, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin. Oh, okay. I mean, I don't know why it isn't everybody, but, you know, good luck. Now, the coronavirus news is so all over the place.
Starting point is 00:34:20 I'm just going to, you know, I'll tell you the stories, but it's just you can, you know, what you can make of it what you wish. Okay. So an Oxford epidemiologist says the COVID herd immunity threshold may be much lower than early estimates. Oh, okay. So the herd immunity works, but it doesn't work for long. It doesn't work as long as we thought or it might not work as good. as we thought. I mean, they just don't know. And then we move on to, you know, the new COVID-19
Starting point is 00:35:05 mutation has become the most dominant strain of the virus. It's causing outbreaks to spread more quickly across the world. Oh. So this professor, Nick Lohman of the University of Birmingham, who is part of the COVID-19 genomics, no, genomics, I'm sorry. Now, COVID-19 Genomics Consortium. Okay. He's part of the COVID-19 Genomics Consortium. He says that the mutation known as D614G, I mean, how many times have you heard me complain about the mutation of COVID-19,
Starting point is 00:35:45 D-614G, is forming clusters more quickly in the UK than the original virus from Wuhan? Okay, that's great. But then we have recent data that show state coronavirus hotspots, Arizona, Texas, and Georgia, could be turning the corner. Oh, really? Could be turning the corner? You mean, was that after we realized that a lot of the numbers weren't quite right? So the peak may have not been as peaky as we thought? Or is, are we getting to the real crux of the matter?
Starting point is 00:36:28 And we know that it's fine. That's, you know, we're turning the, turning the corner. Okay. Now, other scientists, like our boy from Birmingham, said that the disease is mutated. And it's becoming more infectious, but less deadly, leading to a higher incidence of cases, but overall less fatalities. Okay. I'm actually, I think I'm okay. I think I'm okay with that.
Starting point is 00:36:54 get infected less deadly less deaths i could still go out into the world not without a mask you can't my friend oh okay can i just decide for myself no you cannot decide for yourself we'll decide for you and then we'll tell you when it's safe for you not to have to wear it anymore okay got it all right fine now apparently there's an issue with still in the coronavirus news by the way. There's an issue with people downloading the contact tracing application. Huh. Really? You mean, people aren't just doing that? I mean, look, all kinds of businesses are now trying to take your name and your information. If you shop there, you eat there, and they've got to keep your information. And, you know, it's all part of the contact tracing. So if someone comes down
Starting point is 00:37:48 with COVID-19, then you get contacted. And according to, you know, most reports, you now have COVID-19. In fact, if you were in any of us, now have COVID-19, period. But they want people to have the app. So apparently the companies aren't going to just give it to you. There you go. You now have the app on your phone. They're discussing whether to pay Americans $1,000 to download and use the digital contact tracing application. For a thousand bucks.
Starting point is 00:38:26 Are you downloading the, downloading the app? It's only a thousand bucks. I mean, that's only a thousand bucks. You know, sure, for a lot of people, $1,000 is a lot of money. Including me, I'm happy to get $1,000 whenever I get $1,000. There's no question about it.
Starting point is 00:38:44 But are you going to go, are you saying, yep, I'll download it for a thousand bucks? Because, you know, it probably the good idea is to, take the thousand and download the app because what comes next is they just put it on your phone next time you update the contact tracing app is on your phone and you don't get the thousand dollars so it might be a good thing to just do it and take the thousand dollars while you can because, I mean, you don't have to activate it, right?
Starting point is 00:39:25 I mean, hopefully there's a way to turn it on and off. Oh, I killed me. Of course you're going to be able to turn off that app. Oh, you are. You are. Of course you're going to be able to turn it on and off. And you can do it whatever you want. So take the grand and have it downloaded on your phone.
Starting point is 00:40:01 Good? All right. Good. Download and subscribe to more content at the blaze.com slash podcasts. And just sticking with a little bit of the coronavirus news of this study or survey, it worries me. It worries me. A Politico Morning Consult survey was released,
Starting point is 00:40:24 and it found that 53% of registered voters strongly support states issuing orders that require face masks to be worn in public under penalty of fine or jail time. How about a no? Now, the number of those that support the notion increased to 72% and those who support somewhat the idea were included.
Starting point is 00:40:54 So, I mean, if you support, you know, maybe wearing a mask but no penalty of jail time, I still say, how about, uh, no. Only 21% of voters either strongly oppose or somewhat oppose. Well, yeah. But the difference between myself, and of course it's, you know, that's not the breakdown of the survey. But look, tell us. us that you want us to wear a mask and if we decide to wear a mask we'll wear it but these mandates uh these making us do this no no no no no no no no no you don't get to do that you don't get to do that
Starting point is 00:41:32 and that's why president trump is saying you know hey wear the mask yeah wear the mask everybody's after me to tell you to wear the mask wear the mask it's good might help you but the mandate no thank you no that is not your place i'm sorry not your place. I can't believe that we have that many people that want to put mandates in place that you can't go out in public without wearing a mask
Starting point is 00:42:04 under penalty of fine or jail time? No. No, thank you. Now, this poll was conducted two days, July 17th, 18th, and three days, 17, 18th, and 19th. surveyed 1,991 registered voters conducted online 2-point margin of error. That's not good enough.
Starting point is 00:42:31 That's not good enough. But as long as we're on Trump, I'll give you a quick breaking news story without the sounder, just letting you know that, because this is going to be all over there. This is what you're going to be seeing all over the news. And when you see it, you'll be going,
Starting point is 00:42:45 yeah, I know it already. I heard it on chewing the fat. I don't have to listen to it. Michael Cohn. His First Amendment rights were violated when he was ordered back to prison on July 9th after probation authorities said he refused to sign a form banning him from publishing the book or communicating publicly in other manners. U.S. District Judge Elvin K. Hellerstein said, yeah, I want him out.
Starting point is 00:43:11 That's ridiculous. I want him out by 2 p.m. on Friday, the 24th of July. So, I mean, that's good news for Michael Cohen. I'll tell you that. He's going to be happy about getting out of jail. I'll tell you that. And I see where China plans, the story is they're planning to have an extended weekend to aid coronavirus hit economy. So 2.5 day weekend, that doesn't sound like much, to be honest.
Starting point is 00:43:41 Maybe we go for a three-day weekend. What do you think, China? What do you think? So, according to the first. to this. They want to introduce a 2.5 day weekend across China to encourage tourism and of course spending. So they want people to get out there and go travel. Now they claim that yes, you can take the 2.5 day weekend, but you have to prove to me that you went on a trip or you. It went on a trip or you had an activity.
Starting point is 00:44:20 So you still, and, and not only that, you have to work an extra 40 minutes a day to make up for the time that you would have regularly been working. No? How about no? How about I just work my Monday through Friday and take the Saturday and Sunday off, or whatever days they take off in China?
Starting point is 00:44:44 But, I mean, are you willing to do that? If your boss said, hey, I'll give you two and a half days off, work extra hours, and you get 2.5 day weekend, I'm not sure that that means anything. You have to work extra Monday through Thursday. And Friday, you come in for half a day, and then you have to go someplace. That doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. It doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. But, you know, what do I know?
Starting point is 00:45:21 What do I know? Maybe to you living in China, it's worth it. It's possible. It's possible. And I also love, I haven't talked anything about the rioting and the, what I love is being called civil unrest. We have, you know, in Portland and Denver. And it's going on all over the country.
Starting point is 00:45:44 It really is. It's turning into a, Look, this is what you get. That's what you get. When you let it happen and you just slide it away. I do love the civil unrest and the tensions. Yeah, the vandalism, the assault, the rioting. Eh, civil unrest.
Starting point is 00:46:02 Eh, sure. Yes, those nasty government agents were arresting people, but we were just trying to burn down the federal buildings. That's all. This is a little civil unrest. That's all. Sure, you can't, you can't call that arson or rioting or looting. You know, it's symbolic is what it is.
Starting point is 00:46:26 It's just symbolic unrest. It really doesn't, really, really doesn't matter. Yeah. So I still am getting your happiest moments in life emails at chewing the fat at the blaze.com. Thank you very much. I appreciate it. I've got to break them down. I know.
Starting point is 00:46:49 I've been neglectful in that part. I know. I know. I do. I am getting them. And if you still want to send them, send them to chewing the fat at the blaze.com, I see them.
Starting point is 00:47:00 I read them. The one that just came through that I read this morning. I'll read to you. Okay. It says a great moment in life. And it's a perfect example of what I'm talking about here. When I talk about, you know, happy moments in your life, when something beautiful happens and you realize,
Starting point is 00:47:16 Looking back that that point, that moment was just a beautiful, happy moment in your life. And that's what we live for, right? In between the, you know, life is what happens when we were waiting for something to happen, right? Something like that. So anyway, this email, a great moment in life. We were driving a crappy RV to the beach one year when my three girls were young. I looked in the mirror and I saw my two oldest, six and four, and my wife sitting in the back. sleeping and reading, just relax.
Starting point is 00:47:49 Beside me, I had my youngest in a car seat with her naked chubby legs poking out in the air and her blanket in her arms, not a care in the world. In my mind, I thought, remember this moment, because they won't be young forever. Boy, that is the truth. They were trusting Daddy to get them there safely to their vacation and not a care in the world. That was the moment I seared into my mind. they're older now and two are teens but I remember that moment forever and he also goes on to say that he didn't
Starting point is 00:48:22 it says I didn't deserve that much happiness sure you did I mean that that's one of the things that we all think from time to time that we don't deserve it but you do you were you were getting them there you were the guy who's your shoulders and it signed Anthony a.k.a. Conqueror
Starting point is 00:48:43 worm so I'm not sure what that is is that the CB handle is that the ham radio handle is that the
Starting point is 00:48:57 is that the handle on you know some of the adult sites conquer a worm I don't know I don't know but thank you Anthony
Starting point is 00:49:08 because yes that's exactly what I'm talking about that is a tremendous happy moment and I'll leave you with something, well, to think about. All right, just think about it.
Starting point is 00:49:21 When one door of happiness closes, another opens. But often, we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one that has been opened for us. That's a quote from Helen Keller. And I want you to just think about it. When one door of happiness closes, another opens. but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one that has been open for us and I know speaking for me and me alone that holds true so just think about it
