Starting point is 00:00:00 Well, welcome, welcome, welcome. Coming to a city near you soon. Dallas, Texas police have listed 14 offenses that can be reported online or by phone. Well, you don't need officers showing up. And just a regular accident with no injury. Burglary of a coin machine. Burglary of a motor vehicle. Credit or debit card abuse, criminal mischief, graffiti, harassing phone calls, identity theft, interference with child custody, lost property, reckless damage, theft, theft of service, shoplifting theft. If any of those things happen, just, you know, go online or give us a call and leave a message. Just let us know. We don't need a police officer to show up for that. And neither do you. Man, times are getting good.
Starting point is 00:01:10 And you know, Dallas is not the only city that is doing this. Good times. Good, good times. Welcome to chewing the fat. All right, we're heading into the weekend. For those of you listening live, On the 15th of January, 2021, we've got the big mega millions lottery drawing tonight. That's worth the jackpot is $750 million, with a cash option of $550.6 million.
Starting point is 00:01:53 And that may even go up by the time the drawing happens at 11 p.m. Eastern. Then you have the power ball, which is going to be tomorrow. Saturday. It is 16th. That one is worth $640 million with a cash value of $478.7 million.
Starting point is 00:02:17 And that may even go up before the drawing happens at 11 p.m. Eastern. So good luck. Man, not that I want to win it because, you know, obviously just puts you into a different
Starting point is 00:02:33 tax bracket and who needs that. Even if you want that, you may not be able to, I mean, I guess you could afford it, you could buy it, but you'd have to, I don't know that you could keep it up for quite some time. The house known as the one, according to Architectural Digest in Los Angeles. It's like the biggest house ever in Los Angeles. In fact, they just passed city ordinance. so a house this size can never be approved in Los Angeles again.
Starting point is 00:03:12 So it is one of a kind. Okay. It's got a 10,000 square foot sky deck. It's America's priciest home. They want $340 million, okay, for this house. Now, even if you were to take the cash, payout, let's say the mega is worth the most right now. So the cash payout is $550 million. You take the cash payout after taxes and you take the cash option after that. You're not,
Starting point is 00:03:46 I mean, you're going to be lucky to walk away with $350 million. But the upkeep on this place is going to be huge anyway. So you've got 105,000 square feet, 21 bedrooms, 42 bathrooms, 30-car garage, five swimming pools. You got a bowling alley, a 30-seat movie theater, full-service hair and beauty salon. I like it. It's got a moat, but that only covers three sides, leaving one side, obviously, open. So you're going to have to have some kind of security of. the side that doesn't have the moat.
Starting point is 00:04:34 Wow. I mean, a bit beautiful place. And yes, sure. Do I want it? Absolutely. Do I want to pay for it? No.
Starting point is 00:04:43 And like I said, even if you could talk them down, I'll just give you $325, $325 million. I'm not paying a dime over $325 million. There's only a few people on the planet that can pay for the upkeep. Right. So if you're living If you got 21 bedrooms, maybe you close off
Starting point is 00:05:09 10 or 11 maybe you close off 20 bathrooms Maybe you empty Three of the five pools, I don't know You know, the bowling alley, sure you keep that going The movie theater, well, you can't live without a movie theater, hello And the hair and beauty salon you have to keep that going, right? I mean, you have to have your, you know, your beauty person come in every day for upkeep.
Starting point is 00:05:43 I mean, that has to happen, right? That's incredible. That's the money to keep that place going is a lot of money. You're looking at, wow, think of it. So you're spending $340 million on this joint. let alone taxes in California, let alone any of that. And then you're going to have to pay for upkeep on all of this. I mean, that's going to be what?
Starting point is 00:06:12 Maybe you're lucky at keeping it under $50,000 a month. Maybe. Maybe if you've got, you know, one guy that can do a lot of the work. But, I mean, you're spending a lot of money just to keep that place up and open. Wow. It's incredible. But, you know, even when you win the MAGA or the Powerball, you're still probably going to not be able to move into this joint.
Starting point is 00:06:41 Just saying, sorry, I don't mean to bring you down. So did you catch the Jacob Blake interview on Good Morning America ABC News with Michael Strayhan? Yeah, I haven't watched the whole thing. I just saw the original ABC tweet promoting the interview, talking about Jacob revealing what he thought were his last moments alive after Kenosha police shot him in the back seven times in front of his kids. But Jacob and his son's trauma has extended far beyond that moment. And then there's a link.
Starting point is 00:07:21 Well, I read a lot more about the interview and found that he did his son. he does admit to having a knife and dropped it and then later picked it back up trying to get into the car. He said I shouldn't have picked it up and I wasn't thinking clearly. Now you remember Jacob Blake got shot of course seven times as I said in Kenosha and the police, he'd been tased two or three times. He wasn't supposed to be there. I mean the cars, I can't. I don't know that I can take the interview because I've read a little bit.
Starting point is 00:07:57 about it and I'm not you know that uh ABC news good morning America Michael Strahan is going to you know try to come off as a good interview but they're going to let a lot of stuff slide a lot of stuff and they are already letting stuff slide because the narrative has already been changed the narrative on his on his on the shooting has already been changed horrific that he was shot seven times it should have never happened but not because the Police shouldn't have done it. It's because he should have brought that confrontation, that conflict down way before he was shot. So according to this, there's a GoFundMe page for Jacob.
Starting point is 00:08:43 It has, as of right now, you know, almost $2.5 million. So, I mean, you can donate if you'd like, Justice for Jacob Blake. They're trying to raise $3 million is the goal. Oh my gosh, they're almost there. And this is what it says on the GoFundMe page, talking about changing the narrative. On August 23rd, my son was shot multiple times in the back by a Kenosha police officer.
Starting point is 00:09:12 After my son broke up an altercation by an unrelated party. The shooting has now left my son critically injured as he fights for his life. The extent of my son's injuries is unknown, but we remain prayerful as he continues to undergo multiple rounds of operations to save his life. This fund is established to cover my son's medical expenses, mental and grief counseling for our family, and to assist our family in the days to come, as we continue to seek justice for Jacob. A portion of these proceeds will also be used to benefit my son's six
Starting point is 00:09:53 children, some of whom witnessed this horrific act of violence. Anyone wishing to send cards, letters of encouragement, and or contributions in the form of money order or check may do so by mail. And then there's an address of where you can send it other than donating to the GoFundMe page. But see, that narrative is completely changed because this horrific thing that took place in front of his sons and his children that he was. that he claims to love, and I don't doubt him on that,
Starting point is 00:10:27 could have all been set aside had he just followed the directions of the police at the time of the arrest. And we know that he had a warrant out for his arrest, so he was going to get arrested for that anyway. That was part of why they couldn't let him go, right? You got a warrant out for your arrest, you get arrested, period. And then, you know, you fight it afterward anyway. I mean, if you want to be.
Starting point is 00:10:53 It's out there, the Jacob Blake interview. I will watch it so you don't have to. This weekend I will watch it so you don't have to. But if you want to see how stories change and narratives change, make sure that you either before or after or maybe even during. Maybe on your laptop you have the real story of what actually happens. and then you watch the interview on your phone, let's say. So you have him side by side so that you're able to see exactly how the narrative gets changed.
Starting point is 00:11:35 Because I believe his life is horrible now, right? I mean, he's in a wheelchair. I don't know if he's ever going to be able to walk again. I don't know what else is wrong with him. I mean, you get shot seven times. That's going to do some great damage to your body, no matter who you are. but uh and you know i i hope that he can you know fight back from this and i'm thankful that people are giving him money to pay uh for medical bills but it certainly isn't the police department's
Starting point is 00:12:07 fault and conosha has been you know they they took some heat for it and wrongly wrongly but who am I? Who am I? I'm just a I'm just a guy chewing the fat looking at stories and trying to tell you you know perhaps the narrative has changed for one reason or the other you can figure that one out for yourself we'll see how the narrative gets changed on
Starting point is 00:12:44 the mafia trial going on in Italy just started up they've got 900 witnesses testifying against more than 350 people, including politicians. It is going to be amazing when all of this, they are, when all of this comes out. So they're going after some of the most powerful members of the Drengetta Mafia family. I think that's the right way to pronounce it. I don't want to get shot by them if it's the wrong way. Drangeta.
Starting point is 00:13:23 Drangeta. Yeah, that's right. Okay. Drangeta. All right. Drangeta. Now, they've built a high security, a thousand capacity courtroom with cages to hold the defendants. It's amazing.
Starting point is 00:13:39 This is a huge mafia case. And they were almost all arrested at the end of 2019, after a huge investigation that began in 2016 that covered at least 11 Italian regions. It was incredible. And they, you know, all of these areas are controlled mainly by the rangettes, the Mancuso clan in Calabria. They all had bunkers located behind sliding staircases.
Starting point is 00:14:17 cases, hidden trap doors, manholes, a former senator, a police chief local councilors, businessmen, all accused in aiding the mafia. Duh. They were arrested in Germany and Switzerland and Bulgaria. I mean, it's a huge case. It's going to be amazing to listen and read what comes out of this trial. I don't know what's going to happen. You know, obviously you think, wow, they're just getting rid of the drengeta, but they obviously, you know, they don't want things to replace it.
Starting point is 00:14:56 But drengetta's been around forever, or what certainly seems like forever. I don't know. You know, they never leave. They rarely, if you ever watched, you know what you need to do. Here's what you need to do. All right. While this trial is going on, it's just getting under rape for, Dengretta.
Starting point is 00:15:19 Watch the show on Amazon. Zero, zero, zero. I know I've talked about this before. You know, I watched it. It's a few episodes.
Starting point is 00:15:31 I don't know. It's six or seven or eight episodes. Let me look it up. Hold on. How many episodes? This is zero, zero, zero. All right, eight episodes.
Starting point is 00:15:41 Eight episodes at zero, zero, zero. And it's one of, it's about a journey. of a cocaine shipment from the moment of the cartel of Italian criminals buy it until it comes
Starting point is 00:15:56 from Mexico and the shipping and it's really it's a fascinating fascinating episodes about how this shipment goes from Mexico to Italy and how it gets there and it's
Starting point is 00:16:12 just incredible but the head boss from in Italy. I don't know if he's, I really have to go back. I'm not sure if he's part of the Drengetta crime family. But he has a,
Starting point is 00:16:27 he has an underground bunker in the mountains. That's what they're saying, that these people, the bosses, rarely leave. Drengetta. They're one of the richest criminal groups in the world, but they don't leave, they don't leave their area. And they leave, they stay with their villages.
Starting point is 00:16:45 and they still are overseeing, you know, operations worth millions of dollars around the globe. And they all have escape tunnels and bunkers. And it's really incredible. And in this show, 00, the old man, the old man, crime boss, has his bunker in the mountains that's guarded. He can only get there. It's really, it's a good show. And, I mean, it's really, you feel like it's, I don't know, the truth. So we know that, you know, obviously this is going to be built on, you know, the crime family dealing with the families that are not crime families, but really are, right?
Starting point is 00:17:38 So what's really cool is, and I say cool, the son of the boss, the son Emmanuel Mancuso, son of Aluni Mancuso, has been revealing all their secrets after, and he's got, you know, police protection, and they finally got to him, and he's set to testify against Luigi Mancuso, his uncle.
Starting point is 00:18:07 I don't know if he's, you know, about, I will see what happens, but he, it's going to be, you know, he's under police protection, obviously, I mean, good luck. Good luck. This guy's surviving, man, trying to save his own life. I mean, you've got brothers and nephews and kids and cousins for the clans, man, deep blood, deep blood. It is going to be a fascinating trial And there's going to be some big names Either go down
Starting point is 00:18:41 Or some big names that get lost in the shuffle Because the person who is going to testify Just happens to disappear But let me know when you watch Zero Zero Zero and you can email me at Chewing the Fat at the Blaze.com And let me know what you think Because this trial is going to show a lot
Starting point is 00:19:03 of what 0-0-0 shows and it's fascinating the 0-0 on Amazon is almost like a documentary. I know it's not real. I get it. I got it.
Starting point is 00:19:19 But it really is. All right, let's go to the break room. I need something cold to drink for sure. Got it in a big tumbler today too with a little bit of ice so it keeps it even colder. Oh, man. Oh, my goodness gracious.
Starting point is 00:19:56 That is so, so good. As long as we're in the break room, don't forget that Tiger, part two, is on this weekend as well. I am looking forward to it. I can't wait. This one's all going to be with Rachel, and she opens up about her relationship.
Starting point is 00:20:15 She was in love with Tiger. And she even says, I want people to understand that when somebody of high caliber looks at you as everyone else wants to know that person and that person only wants you, that's the ultimate kind of credibility for yourself. And how do you say no to that? Well, Rachel, you can't. It's impossible to say no to that. And obviously, you couldn't and didn't. So I'm looking forward to it.
Starting point is 00:20:46 Look, I know that he was a, you know, and I used. the quotation marks, parentheses, a dirt bag around Tiger, and sure he had affairs with multiple women, and sure we're to believe, I guess,
Starting point is 00:21:00 that the wife didn't know until the time when they got into the fight with the golf clubs. We'll see if Tiger Part 2 delves into that at all. Because I am a firm believer that, of course, she knew.
Starting point is 00:21:16 You don't do what Tiger was doing and not have your wife know, but she loved the life that was, you know, there as Tiger's wife and the front of the, of Tiger to the world. And I don't believe it. I don't believe she didn't know until then. But okay. All right. We'll see.
Starting point is 00:21:37 We'll see if, you know, if they delve into that. I doubt it. So, well, before I get into another really weird story with Army Hans. hammer. I'm still tweeting a little bit at Jeffie JFR. I haven't talked about the numbers dropping. They're obviously dropping. I feel like the, you know, the Walmart ads where the prices keep dropping. That's what I keep seeing on my followers count. But I'm still using it. So at Jeffey JFR on Twitter,
Starting point is 00:23:11 Facebook and Instagram, Jeff Fisher Radio. And it looks as though parlor is never coming back. But if it ever does, Jeff Fisher Radio is up there as well. If you go to blazTV
Starting point is 00:24:44 dot com slash jeffy j e f f f y and you'll end up using the promo code jeffy j e f f yf y uh you'll save thirty dollars on a year's subscription one a tremendous deal just go to blaz tv dot com slash jeffy and you scroll down you'll see the deal with the thirty dollars off for a year and uh you know follow the directions to you know become a subscriber for that and now's the best time is ever especially when more voices are needed not less So many around this country in particular are trying to make it be less voices when more voices are needed. The exact opposite. As usual, we're being told less voices are needed when it's the exact opposite that's true.
Starting point is 00:25:34 Huh. It's funny how that works, isn't it? Yes. Yes, it is. So are you familiar with the actor Armyhammer? I'm kind of familiar with him. And he's in this big to-do now because of his direct messages. So apparently he's exited from a new movie he was going to be in called Shotgun Wedding,
Starting point is 00:26:03 starring Jennifer Lopez, because of this controversy. Now, he says that the claims are bull. And there's, you know, he says it's bull S word. And that was his, you know, statement addressing the alleged leaked private messages. Okay. Lionsgate confirmed that he's stepping away from the upcoming role. You may remember him. His first leading role was as Billy Graham in the 2008 film Billy, the early years.
Starting point is 00:26:35 He was in the 2010, The Social Network, one, you know, best supporting actor at the Toronto films critics. So, I mean, and he's been in, you know, a lot of other things. But according to this, he was sending direct messages about cannibalism, rape fantasies, and more explicit sexual content. Okay. All righty then. No problem.
Starting point is 00:27:11 these were leaked and he said that I cannot in good conscience leave my children for four months to shoot a film in the Dominican Republic Lionsgate is supporting me on this I bet they are I bet they are and you go ahead and say
Starting point is 00:27:28 that that's why you're not going to do the film but we don't want anything to do with you right now okay your direct messages on Instagram that were leaked over the weekend you know I know unverified but when you start direct messaging sexual content
Starting point is 00:27:46 and a lot of it is about cannibalism, rape fantasies, and, you know, I get the more explicit sexual content. I mean, I get that. But cannibalism? I mean, I'm even letting the rape fantasies go,
Starting point is 00:28:06 which is, you know, even, you know, making a turn that's way weird. But when you start getting into cannibalism, okay, no problem, hey, you look great tonight. Man, oh man, do I want to take a bite out of that calf? See, that doesn't do it for me. That does, I know this is going to come as a surprise.
Starting point is 00:28:34 As, you know, I hear on chewing the fat, but it just doesn't, oh, my, man, do I? do I want to take a bite out of that calf? No, I don't. That doesn't do it for me. I know. I don't know. Am I doing for you?
Starting point is 00:28:49 And it certainly does it for Arnie. But, so he's in trouble. And bless his heart. He just got reunited with the wife, too, because they were going to get a divorce in July. I wonder, you know, you wonder that maybe this might have had something to do with it. And then they were going to get back together. So maybe he said,
Starting point is 00:29:13 hey, I won't do it anymore. I won't text message about cannibalism anymore. I won't direct message anything about sexual content anymore. And then he gets busted, do it again. So it could be a little trouble for Army Hammer. And his, I hope not. I hope the marriage is strong for the children's sake. But, man, you make that turn?
Starting point is 00:29:40 I just keep saying, oh yeah, man, do you look good tonight? I would like to put you on the stove and cook you till you're done. Takes on a whole new meaning, doesn't it? So no word on who's going to be co-starring with Jennifer Lopez in Shotgun Wedding, because the Army is stepping away, but we do know that Jennifer is going to perform at the Joe Biden inauguration. Yay! Man, is that going to be good? And Lady Gaga is going to sing the national anthem?
Starting point is 00:30:15 Oh, man. Now you are, you got me. I'm in. I can't wait. I cannot wait. Tom Hanks is also going to host a star-studded, televised special, titled Celebrating America. A 90-minute primetime program is going to feature John Bon Jovi,
Starting point is 00:30:40 Demi, Demi, Lovato. Justin Timberlake, Aunt Clemens, a man, when you put Aunt Clemens on a broadcast. It's going to be broadcast live on ABC, CBS,
Starting point is 00:30:53 CNN, NBC, and MSNBC. Oh, this is going to be good. It's going to celebrate the beginning of a new national journey toward an America United and showcase
Starting point is 00:31:11 case, the American people's resilience, heroism, and unified commitment to coming together as a nation to heal and rebuild. Wow. Just, uh, that is exciting news, isn't it? Yeah, it sure is. More exciting news is the chief of the FAA signed an order directing his agency to take a zero-tolerance approach to disruptive airline customers. Now, correct me if I'm wrong. I find that that zero-tolerance approach has been pretty good on the airlines for quite some time now.
Starting point is 00:32:19 Now, I guess, I guess maybe. Sometimes, according to this, they adjudicate certain of these unruly passenger cases with counseling or warnings. Not anymore. We're going straight to enforcement, he said. We've seen a disturbing increase in these incidents. We'll take the strongest possible enforcement action against any passenger who engages in it. And these cases may be wrong. referred to the Department of Justice for criminal prosecution.
Starting point is 00:32:54 Oh, no. So, I mean, he's laying down the hammer. Now, you can engage in disorderly conduct on a flight up to $35,000 in fines and possible jail time. You know, if you're flying, look, I'm with you. I understand. I get it. But according to the airlines, people have, you know, it's been getting worse and worse. Now, as I was reading the stories about what was going on in the airlines,
Starting point is 00:33:21 I'm trying to figure out exactly, you know, what's been bad and what's been, you know, what's been, you know, overplayed. So people were chanting USA and a fight for Trump on one flight. And the captain came on and said, it's a four and a half hour flight to Phoenix. Excuse me, this is Fisher Air. It's a four and a half flight to Phoenix. We'll put this thing down in the middle of Kansas and dump people off. I don't care.
Starting point is 00:33:52 We'll do that if that's what it takes. So behave. All right. So they don't even know what events led to the announcement. All right. I guess, you know, we'll see. But, you know, I know that Mindy Robinson shared a video saying that she was on the flight. Is that the same Mindy Robinson that had her Twitter account banned?
Starting point is 00:34:17 I don't know why. Oh, whatever. I just a thought. I was just thinking out loud. But in this story, it talks about the horrific, this horrific thing that happened on a flight. And I don't know how the plane could keep flying. I don't know how people could continue to fly on this plane when it was happening. I hope, I mean, some airlines have stopped serving alcohol on D.C.-bound flights.
Starting point is 00:34:44 they've increased staff presence in area airports. They've had crew members. They don't let the crew members stay in D.C. anymore. Some people have harassed the flight crew and refused to wear masks. Okay. I know there was one flight, right? The Alaska Airlines flight that everybody's talking about. 14 passengers.
Starting point is 00:35:07 All right, so they got some mob mentality there. I get it. If you're on a flight, that's part of the deal. You got to wear your mask. Sorry to bother you. But it's okay, you know, then when you get into it's okay, what if I have my mask on and they don't like my mask? We've seen those videos too. I guess that's okay for the airline employees to be rude to the customers, but the customers can't be rude to the airline employee.
Starting point is 00:35:32 That's what really ticks me off about most of this. But as one of the stories talked about, anyway, this is the horrific thing. I'm kind of going around it because I don't really, I want you to, I can't believe this actually. happened on an airplane and it really uh really throws me off because uh i don't know how the plane could continue to fly when someone on one flight uh this was in one incident a passenger was projecting trump Trump 2020 on the ceiling of the plane. What? How could the plane even fly?
Starting point is 00:36:19 So someone projects Trump 2020 on the ceiling of the cabin in the plane, and that's an incident? Okay. All right. I don't want trouble on airlines either, but they're getting a little uppity. And, you know, if you take a look around, there's a lot less people flying. So it would seem to me that they should be nicer to their customers. But really what's happening is they're closing in on their customers and saying, we're the rulers and you're flying with us and you'll do what we say.
Starting point is 00:37:00 And that's the way it is. And I know that it's been that way for quite some time, but it seems to be getting worse. It could be just me. It could be just me. I know. I know. I just don't like the idea of the airlines and all the employees. I never have that they get to, they get to be the bad guys and the good guys.
Starting point is 00:37:21 But we can never be the kind of bad guys. We've always got to take it. And once in a while, you know, it's always good to be the person giving instead of the one taking. You can quote me on that if you'd like. it's fine, no problem. And it is Fat Pile Friday, so I mean, we've still got plenty of headlines. We've got the English soccer league has told the players, hey, stop hugging. Well, and actually the government said, hey, you guys on the soccer field, stop hugging.
Starting point is 00:37:55 Sure, sure, we're still going to find you for all those racist remarks that you put on your Instagram accounts and everything. And we're going to, you know, take care of that. But stop hugging on the field, okay? we cannot have this happen. There's a pandemic going on and you players who get tested all the time and are with each other 24 hours a day. We don't want you hugging.
Starting point is 00:38:19 It's just, oh, it's just amazing. It's just amazing to me. Disney cruise lines saying, you know what? We're not going to cruise for a while longer. I know. We were thinking about coming back, coming back together,
Starting point is 00:38:35 but you know what? No. not right now I know we were planning on some in March you know of course the Disney magic Disney Wonder
Starting point is 00:38:45 Disney Dream Disney fantasy some of those voyages are longer than seven nights and you know what we're just going to cancel them okay I don't think cruise lines man cruise lines are
Starting point is 00:39:00 they're not coming back they're not coming back I know you want to believe that they are but they're just not coming back. HSB, HSBC, that's the bank, threatens to close the bank accounts of customers who refuse to wear a mask. So it's no longer your choice.
Starting point is 00:39:22 Sure, it's your choice outside of the bank. But if you want to continue to do business with us, you'll wear a mask. I wonder if they'll allow you to get your money back. If you refuse to wear a mask, Um, so they just close your account and say, have a nice day. Get out of here. Uh, you need to, if you're coming into the bank, uh, you're going to wear a mask.
Starting point is 00:39:47 Okay. And we reserve the right to withdraw the customer at any time. Got it? All right. So you don't wear a mask. You're out. Have a nice day. Now, according to their spokesman, they haven't been forced to close down any accounts yet.
Starting point is 00:40:05 but again I emphasize the word yet because you know it's coming now how do you fix that well you wear a mask dummy just put the mask on follow the rules and zip it okay just like every other place wants you to do just follow the rules and shut your mouth com slash podcasts. I'm going to have to start seeing how much my chewing the fat catalog is worth. People cashing in their catalogs all over.
Starting point is 00:40:46 So Ryan Teter, one republic frontman, Ryan Teter, wrote all these hit songs. I mean, he's got according to this story, his catalog deal values
Starting point is 00:41:01 500 plus songs at around 200 million dollars. So a private equity firm, KKR, bought a majority stake in Tedder's songwriting catalog. I mean, he's Beyonce Adele, the Jonas Brothers, just off the top of my head of songs that he wrote. Get this now. So Dylan, right? We talked about Dylan selling his catalog for over 300 million.
Starting point is 00:41:35 Stevie Nix sold 80% of her catalog, 80 million. Wow. Neil Young just sold 50% stake in his catalog to a firm called Hypnosis, Songs Fun. I don't know what Neil made on that, but you know it was a lot. So I'm going to have to start selling, to start selling. my catalog, the chewing the fat catalog, it's got to be worth what? Yeah, five or ten bucks. Gotta be worth at least five or ten bucks, right?
Starting point is 00:42:13 It has to be. All right, so are you going to get the vaccine or not? Yeah, I'm looking at you. You're going to get it or what? I don't know what to think. I said all along, yeah, you know, I'm probably going to get it. But the closer it gets and, you know, the closer, it's getting close, you know, to time for me to be in the queue.
Starting point is 00:42:35 for getting the vaccine, I don't want to get it. I don't know why. I don't know why. I just have this, I don't know. I just have this feeling. And I don't know.
Starting point is 00:42:45 I know. I know, I know, I know. I just, I've been reading, you know, I know that we've got, you know, I know that, you know, Biden, you know, asked the man behind Operation Warp Speed, the guy who's done so much.
Starting point is 00:42:57 Yeah, we want you, go ahead and resign. Get out of here. We don't want you part of our deal. You, you worked underneath. Trump. Okay. All right. I know that doesn't have anything to do with the vaccine.
Starting point is 00:43:09 It just kind of pissed me off. And Disneyland is going to become a super vaccination site in California. Hey, we can't open. You're not allowed to open for business, but we'll use you. We'll use all your space because that's a prime piece of property. So we're going to make you into a super vaccination site, okay? And no walk-ups allowed. So don't think you're just going to walk up to Disneyland and get vaccinated.
Starting point is 00:43:34 We're vaccinating American Indian tribes. I know. I know. We've got, you know, there's reports on what are the best states and worst states for the vaccine. You know, so if you live, you know, let's say you live in, you know, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, Nevada, Mississippi, Arizona, Idaho, Idaho, California, Wisconsin, North Carolina. you, that's the smallest to share population vaccinated so far in those states. But if, you know, then, you know, they, West Virginia, South Dakota, North Dakota, Alaska, Vermont, Connecticut, Oklahoma, Maine, Colorado, Montana. Those are the greatest share population vaccinated so far.
Starting point is 00:44:22 Oh, okay, good. But, you know, are we going, are you going to get it? I don't know. I don't know. I'm so torn. I want to get it. I mean, we're the vaccination all over the world, right? And I just saw a story.
Starting point is 00:44:37 Another story where they're doing, you know, Instagram influencers in Indonesia. Why not? The social media influencers, let's get them. Let's show them up with the world leaders, right, alongside President Joko Wida-Doodoo. And it's, you know, let's go. Let's get the vaccine.
Starting point is 00:44:56 And everybody's getting it, looking good. I know the Pope just got it. What's her face? The TV cook Wall Street criminal You know, what's her face? Martha Stewart She just got it.
Starting point is 00:45:14 She's in the window. I know. I know. I just feel like I don't want to get it now. And I don't know why. And maybe I will. Maybe I'll give in
Starting point is 00:45:25 and just put my tail between my legs and get it when I can when they contact me and say, it's your turn. You're the window. of your age group and health bracket it's your turn maybe i will i don't know but right now if they were to call today i'd probably say no i don't know i haven't talked to my wife about this yet maybe another issue so maybe i should uh you know what i'm going to reserve i know
Starting point is 00:46:02 Don't look at me like that. Stop it. Stop it. I know. I'm the one in charge around here. She knows that. And you know that. You know I'm the man of this house.
Starting point is 00:46:16 Make no mistake about it. There's just no doubt about that. So anyway, you know, I love that email. I get these morning emails with stories and updates. And the one is called The Morning. Morning Brew. I want to give them credit because I love the three headlines and a lie bit that they do in their headline. They do it, I don't know, once every other week or once a week or whatever. But I love the, it's a good bit that they put in their, you know, email, their news email letter, three headlines and a lie.
Starting point is 00:46:53 And can you pick the headline that's a lie, right? So the first headline, citing censorship concerns North Idaho internet provider blocks Facebook and Twitter. Headline number two. Saudi Arabia launches 170 kilometer city built in a straight line. Headline three. Texas City settles mayor's race by pulling ping pong balls from a top ad. Headline number four. two Roblox streamers are feuding after both naming their virtual cities, Blockington.
Starting point is 00:47:35 Which one is a lie? They're all pretty strong. They're all pretty strong, but it's the Roblox streamers, feuding for naming their virtual cities, Blockington. And you think to yourself, what? There's a Texas city that's settled their mayor's race by pulling ping pong balls? Yeah, it's outside of... of Houston.
Starting point is 00:47:58 And the mayor's race was a complete tie. It ended with both candidates getting 1,010 votes. And I said it was a suburb outside of Houston. It's called Dickinson, Dickinson, Texas. And so they put the ping pong balls in a top hat and pulled them out. and Jennifer Lawrence and I looked at a picture
Starting point is 00:48:29 it's not that Jennifer Lawrence who lost the random drawing said I feel like this is how it's supposed to go it's disappointing but it is what it is the winner Sean Skipworth said that while he was certainly pleased
Starting point is 00:48:48 that he had won he has his reservations about handing democracy over to fate. And we talked about the story in Idaho about the internet provider. At least maybe we did that on Pat's show on Wednesday, but I may have mentioned it briefly here on chewing the fat.
Starting point is 00:49:08 It's, you know, they blocked Facebook and Twitter, and then they took it back and said, oh, no, we're not going to block everybody. If you ask for it, we're not going to, you know, we'll block it. And then they, I mean, It was just silly. They got them some headlines, though, but good.
Starting point is 00:49:25 But it ended up being nothing because they ended up saying, well, if you ask it to be blocked, we'll block it for you. Well, that could happen anyway. You can ask your internet provider to block anything. I don't know if they do every one. Maybe you can do it yourself. Huh? I bet you can. No, we can't have that.
Starting point is 00:49:48 We don't want people making their own decision. we want the government and these big companies making decisions for us and we want you to shut your mouth and zip it okay we don't want any back talk let me need back lip don't make me pull this car over okay just zip it back there that's what we want okay and then the other headline was saudi arabia launches the city in a straight line i watched the the launch video of that uh and i was trying to understand how it's going to be better for the environment and how they're promoting this new city that is supposed to be zero carbon and it's great and it's the futuristic megacity neom and the crown prince moham bin salam launched the line which forms part of the kingdom's vision for 2030 strategy to diversify its economy and move away from its reliance on oil. Oh, that's funny. That's funny.
Starting point is 00:51:02 Yeah. Because without oil, what are they got? Just asking. If you have the answer, let me know. Because otherwise, I'm just waiting to do what I'm told and keeping my mouth shut. That's what we do here.
