Blaze Radio Network.
And now, chewing the fat with Jeff Fisher.
I think we all can agree.
A new baby brings a new breath of fresh air and life into any household that is.
arrives in. Well, congratulations are in order.
83-year-old actor- superstar Al Pacino and his 29-year-old girlfriend, Nour-E-A-L-A-L-A-H.
If I pronounce that incorrectly, I apologize.
Just welcome to new bouncing baby boy to their household. So congratulations.
Roman Pacino has been added to the Pacino household,
the 83-year-old Pacino and his 29-year-old girlfriend.
Congratulations to both.
Pacino, I will say this, in Al's defense,
not all his children are older than his girlfriend.
So there's that.
He's got the 22-year-old twins, Anton and Olivia,
that he had with Beverly DeAngelo.
So they're 22.
So they are younger than his girlfriend.
But he does have a daughter,
Julie Marie, who's 33,
who he had with his ex-girlfriend
and acting coach Jan Terrant.
So he's only got one child
that's older than his girlfriend.
But that new bouncing baby boy, Roman,
will just add new life
to the Pacino household.
And congratulations.
He's not quite up.
to speed with his old buddy Robert Douche Niro though.
Dush Nero who just had a kid not long ago too and I believe that's his seventh child.
Wow.
Now, Dush Niro is only what, 79 now?
He's got a few more years and he can crank out a few more kids.
No problem.
And I want to apologize because I said what, Dush Nero was 79?
No, he's 81.
So he only has a couple of years to catch up on 83-year-old Robert De Niro.
and his wife is 33.
So she's getting a little long in the tooth for Bob.
He only has a couple of kids that are older than his girlfriend.
He has a daughter who's 51, Drainah,
and a son, Raphael, who is 46.
And he has a twin sons, Julian and Aaron, 27, that are younger,
that he had with his former girlfriend model actress, Tuki Smith,
and he shares son Elliot 24 and daughter Helen Grace 11 with his ex-wife Grace Hightower.
These guys, man.
These guys.
That's all I can say.
These guys.
Congratulations.
Congratulations to both.
And in particular,
Al Pacino,
who just welcomed his new baby boy into the household.
Welcome.
Welcome to chewing the fast.
So the biggest story coming off of this 4th of July extravaganza weekend, the 249th birthday of the United States, was the flash flooding in Texas.
Wow, over 80 people already counted as dead, including 28 children.
So sad.
The historic flash flooding in central Texas.
Camp Mystic is the...
is the camp that is the most noticeable in the news stories,
which is along the Guadalupe River.
They had warnings of flash flooding,
but certainly I don't think anyone,
obviously, didn't think it was going to be as catastrophic as it was.
This is, you know, a flash flood zone.
And they rescued, the good news out of all of this
is they did rescue over 850 people
in the first 36 hours of the search.
They're still searching for the children.
I don't know how you do it.
I mean, I honestly, I don't know how some of these parents are going to get through it,
but they have many people trying to help and rescue and help them through it.
In particular, Mercury 1 is there helping,
and there's more and more people coming in every day.
They're saying that more rain is on the way,
so it's going to hinder some of the rescue operations.
It's just really, really sad.
So anything that you can do, thoughts, prayers, money, help,
contact mercury1.org, Mercury1.org,
and do whatever you can, wherever you are,
and just know that whatever you can do is needed.
Mercury1.org.
You know, once we get through it,
then maybe we can go back and take a look at what needs to be fixed,
what help can happen.
Let's, you know, who to blame, if there is anyone to blame.
Oh, we're blaming God.
He caused the rain.
Okay.
Some people think that Mad Main rain caused this.
According to the post from Rainmaker, he claimed that, or they claimed, or it claimed,
that they did not create this particular flooding waters.
Oh.
Okay.
It was just the other rains that you guys were creating.
that you're doing now.
So we're in the smack dab
in the middle of seeding clouds
and raining and coming up with storms.
That's great.
That's great.
What could possibly go wrong?
I think we know the answer.
In an upcoming show on Pet Grey Unleashed,
we are going to do a Friday show
on some cloud seeding
and some climate engineering.
And it's going to be really, really fascinating.
I heard an interview with a guy,
Dane Wigington,
and he's got a
documentary and a website
that you can go to.
The documentary is called
The Dimming, but it's by geoengineering
watch.org.
Holy cow.
We'll get into that
in-depth about that
and what's going on around the world
as far as geo-engineering,
climate engineering.
and again, what could possibly go wrong?
I know, I know.
I mean, it made me time to move.
I mean, I was, again, every so often,
about every four months,
they come out with a new story about these cities
are offering money till you could move there.
And the latest edition has West Virginia.
They say, ascend West Virginia,
will give you up to $12,000 or more.
more to move to their city. Tulsa, Oklahoma, always on the list.
They have said that they don't give $10,000 in rental grants or a lump sum after the purchase
of a qualifying home and a three-year membership to a local co-working space.
Huh?
That's Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Topeka, Kansas.
Yeah, because, I mean, if you want to, hey, if you drive to Topeka, Kansas and say,
I could live here, then you could get up to $10,000 to be allocated.
to rent for the first year or up to $15,000 to put towards buying a home in Topeka, Kansas.
Baltimore, Maryland, I'm not really sure why you'd want to move to Baltimore, but if you do,
they're giving you $5,000 in down payment and closing cost assistance and a five-year
forgivable loan if you want to move into the great city of Baltimore, Maryland.
Ketchikan, Alaska.
Is that right?
K-K-T-C-K-K-K-H-I-K-A-N.
If that's not how you pronounce it, I apologize.
They are giving you up to $2,000.
Wait, what?
Only $2,000 for Alaska?
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and fully employed.
They must live outside Alaska while working remotely for a company that is also outside of Alaska.
Once you become a resident of Alaska, the state will pay you after a year of living there from the Alaska Permanent Fund dividend.
Okay.
And, and get this.
They're also offering up to three months of free internet.
So you got that going for you in Ketchikan, Alaska.
And then Newton, Iowa is on the list, this latest list.
Newton, Iowa.
Man, beautiful this time of year.
This is a program brought to you by the Newton, Newton, Iowa, man, beautiful this time of year.
Newton Housing Initiative.
Love them.
$10,000 cash.
The city located approximately 30 miles from Des Moines is offering $10,000 in cash.
The individuals seeking to purchase homes valued at more than $240,000.
Rental properties are not eligible, and homes under $240,000 shall be eligible for a tax abatement.
That's part of Get to Know Newton.
Welcoming package.
Oh, that's great.
but if it's below 240,000,
we're not giving you the 10,000 cash.
But if you say, I would say,
no, I don't want to give you any scams
because just if you want to move to Newton,
go there and buy a house
that's $241,000
and get $10,000 in cash.
If you need help,
now I'm going to tell you about
what you thought I was going to talk about
to begin with, and that is real estate agents
I trust.com.
So when it's time for you to move,
whether it's in the same town or if you want to go to, I don't know, Alaska,
anywhere else in the country, you're going to want a real estate agent.
And not just any agent, you're going to want someone who's really good at what they do.
Not some fly-by-night moonlighter that just doesn't cut it.
Okay, you're going to want real estate agents I trust.com.
Look, this business got started because Glenn Beck found out a long time ago
when he used to have a move a lot that he got tired of dealing with mediocre agents
right and left. Yeah, and the idea of it is that you want to sell your house high and buy the new house
low. And that's kind of the plan. It doesn't always work out that way. And for him, it most definitely
did not work out that way. He would buy high and sell low. It's not the way it's supposed to be done.
So he created a free service called Real Estate Agents I Trust. You heard me. Free service.
Connects you with the top performing agents who actually care about your outcome, agents who are experienced,
vetted, fully committed to helping you
buy or sell, or both, with confidence.
Whether you're moving across country or across town,
the people that Glenn would hire himself,
that I would hire,
and the only ones he puts his name behind.
Because your move isn't just a move,
it's your life.
And you deserve to work with someone who treats it that way.
Real estate agents, I trust.com.

If you missed it, congratulations to Joey Chestnut.
America is back.
We're writing our course.
Joey Chestnut is the champion of the Nathan's hot dog eating contest in 2025.
He ate 70.5 hot dogs in 10 minutes.
So congratulations to Joey Chestnut for devouring 70.5 hot dogs and buns in his 10 minute dash to victory.
Mickey Sudu 833 to win her 11th woman's title.
So I was looking at Chestnut's record.
So he, obviously last year he didn't participate.
So prior to that, this was, I believe, his 17th victory.
But he lost in 2015, which was a big upset.
It's just incredible that he lost.
And I feel like something was off.
Something was off with him.
Something was off with the hot dogs.
even the other contestants didn't do what they normally did,
but this particular eater, Matt Stoney,
I'm sorry, Matt Megatode Stoney,
defeated Joey Chestnut with 62 dogs in 10 minutes.
Chestnut only did 60 in 2015.
Wow.
It was just an upset, and everything was off kilter a little bit,
not quite sure.
Maybe Joey didn't take it seriously.
and Matt Megatode Stoney did take it seriously.
I mean, they talked about how the 62 hot dogs were 17,360 calories,
1,116 grams of fat, 48,360 milligrams of sodium.
So for Joey's 70.5 hot dogs, that's going to be a little bit more than that.
I mean, congratulations to Matt Megatode Stoney for winning in 2015, but it was just a lucky upset.
But congratulations to Joey for eating his 70.5 this year and getting back on track.
No word whether he got his picture taken with Tommy Tofu from PETA, who was out there,
well, protesting, dash celebrating.
They, of course, give away vegan hot dogs to people in the crowd.
and tell them that, hey,
according to us,
everyone needs to let
freedom ring, and by
leaving animals in peace,
okay? Okay,
we got it, Peter. Thank you.
We're not going to, but thank you.
You know, you're, you're,
I know Tommy Tofu
thinks that those
vegetarian hot dogs are good, but it's been
a long time, quite some time since I've had
a hot dog. I really want one
desperately. And, uh,
I would love to have a cogles hot dog.
I might have to order those.
Because I'm kind of, I'm at the point now where I know, I know, I got it.
Don't look at me like that.
I should lay off the hot dogs.
And I have.
But I'm going to order some hot dogs because when I want them, I want them.
I want them.
And you can quote me on that.
When I want them, I want them.
And it's going to have to be coagles.
So I'm not going to, I'm not going to lower my standards just to have a hot dog.
That just is not going to happen.
So we talked about it when they first announced it,
and it has finally happened over the weekend.
Ozzy Osbourne did gather with Black Sabbath
to give his final performance in Villa Park over there in the UK.
It was incredible.
They talked about more than 45,000 people turned up.
Yeah, I mean, it's got to be bigger than that.
Plus, the social media reach had to go into the millions.
There was one picture with all of the stars.
there. Legends of rock. I was just incredible. Metallica,
Aerosmith, Pantara, Van Halen, of course, Black Sabbath, really incredible. They were all,
they all turned out for this show and performed. And I mean, Metallica, Guns and Roses and
others were there to open up the show. Stephen Tyler was there. He was singing a Led Zeppelin
song. I mean, a whole lot of, it was just incredible. It was actually amazing. And it would have been
nice to have been there just for the fun.
I know Jason Mamoa, I guess, was the MC,
and they showed him in the Mosh pit.
So it was a big day at Villa Park.
And Ozzy obviously sat through the whole thing.
They brought him up in a giant throne at the, you know,
center stage when Mattala,
or when Black Sabbath took the stage.
Pretty incredible.
I mean, we know he has Parkinson's and he can't really move around much.
But I was reading a story that they were doing an interview with Sharon,
the wife, and she talked about his health and how it was, you know, his diagnosis with
Parkinson's disease gave way, I mean, what broke down one of his tours, and he thought intermittent
numbness in his leg was down to years of substance abuse and heavy drinking.
So they postponed their European gig, but matters worse than when Ozzy decided to attempt
diving into bed.
And I think we talked about this, but he said I didn't turn on the light.
assumed he knew where his bed was, but ended up crashing onto the floor.
I laughed, but it wasn't funny.
So it exacerbated an old quad bike injury Ozzy has sustained in 2003.
They rushed him to intensive care, told him that he would need surgery or risk becoming
paraplegic.
Ozzy described it as the worst effing surgery you can imagine.
And he regrets undergoing the operation, fearing he should have thought second medical
opinion. I would recommend
that for everyone, but
the procedure involved placing two metal
plates on either side of his spine.
But the screws loosened
leading to lesions and bone fragments.
So they still haven't found all the damage.
It was so intricate. And they
sought out specialist surgeons
and he went on to five
operations later and
it's just effed up
his body. It was
torturous for him. Park
and damage to his spine.
It's just been horrendous.
So I guess
Ozzy, he's done obviously touring.
This was the final show. But I guess he's got
more stuff to do
that he said he would do
from the studio. We'll see.
I don't know if that can happen or not.
He probably is wiped out
for at least a couple of weeks
after yesterday. And the days
leading up to, well, not yesterday.
Saturday. The days
leading up to this week
and his show at Villa Park.
So I don't know that we'll see Ozzie for a while,
but maybe we will.
Maybe we will.
And one of the things that happened,
and I'm guessing it's real,
Ozzy was holding court backstage,
and Sharon was there,
and of course Kelly was there,
the daughter, Kelly Osborne.
And then a slip-knit member,
Sid Wilson, asked her to marry him.
And I don't know,
it looked like she said yes,
and he put the engagement,
ring honor? I don't know
if it's 100% official
or not, but it looked as though
it was official. So congratulations
to Kelly Osborne and
Sid Wilson, member of Slipknot
for preparing to
tie the knot at the final
show at Villa Park
for Ozzie and Black Sabbath.
And as a side note,
today, if you're listing
live, is the 7th
of July 2025.
It is now.
National Day of Rock and Roll.
So let's go out and celebrate National Day of Rock and Roll by, you know, doing rock and roll stuff.
All right, let's go to the break room.

And you can do that all by emailing Chewing the Fat at the Blaze.com.
All right.
So did you go to the theater this weekend?
I did not.
I kept meaning to because I wanted to see Jurassic World Rebirth.
And I just never got there.
Apparently, audiences are giving it a lukewarm cinema score.
it did 91.5 million domestic, but over the five-day holiday weekend, it did 147.3 million domestically,
with a 318.3 million global debut. I will say that helping it along was the five-day holiday weekend
because it matches the Jurassic World sequels, only they had three days. They did not need five to get to that 145.
148 million range.
And apparently, F1 hogged all the IMAX screens.
So a lot of people disappointed.
They weren't able to see Jurassic World rebirth on the IMAX.
I know, I know.
Number two was F1, who was hogging those IMAX screens.
They dropped over 54% though.
It was week two for them.
109.5 million domestic total, 293 global.
I mean, that's good for Apple, I guess.
but they spent like $250 million on this thing.
So they still have a waste to go to make a little money on this movie.
They can be happy with it, but they got to make some money.
Otherwise, Apple is not going to be happy too much longer.
How to Train Your Dragon, number three.
Elio number four, wow, that dropped another 45%.
So they've got 96 million total global.
That does not sound good for that movie.
28 years later hanging in there with 126 million global Lilo and Stitch.
Where are they at globally?
972.7 million.
Yeah, they're almost at a billion.
They'll hit that very soon.
Megan 2.0, number 7 with 3.8 million.
Wow, that is not good.
No wonder.
I saw some interviews being promoted with Jason Bloom from Bloom House.
Megan 2.0 is Bloomhouse production.
He was saying, yeah, yeah, we know.
people, you know, are, you know,
not really going to horror films.
It's been saturated, so he's trying to cover his butt on that.
Number 8, Mission Impossible, Final Reckoning.
They are at 576 million global.
Wow, that slowed down pretty incredibly.
Materialist number nine,
and this is Spinal Tap, number 10,
with 1.1 million, so those are the big movies.
I did not go to the theater.
I did watch sinners,
who was just dropped on max,
which I love.
That's the way it should work.
Senator is one of the top movies as of late.
And next thing I know, it's on Max.
And that's what I like.
And so I did watch that.
Really good.
Enjoyed it.
It was okay.
I mean, I love Michael B. Jordan.
And I like the idea behind the movie.
It was, you know, the twin brothers.
He plays two characters.
Smoke and Stack.
Cute.
And they return to their hometown.
It's down in the South.
And they discover a greater evil.
waiting to welcome them back.
So it's a new kind of horror movie.
And I liked it.
I liked it a lot.
And then I realized that as I'm looking at Max,
I see a new series called Duster.
And it's based in the 70s.
I mean, I watched a couple of episodes.
It looks fun.
The soundtrack looks, I mean,
if you like 70s hits,
that's the soundtrack is definitely for you.
But it's about,
they're in.
Phoenix, Arizona. It's down south.
It's the FBI agent,
this new FBI agent who's after the
head of the crime boss in Phoenix
because he also killed her dad
back in Philadelphia, I think.
And so we'll see Josh Holloway stars in it.
And it was fun.
It was kind of fun.
I don't know if it's going to end up being that way
because I stopped after two or three episodes,
but I'll let you know, Duster on Max.
And just when you think Hollywood,
they've got it figured out.
They don't they've got this AI thing figured out.
Well, we'll see.
The Korean Entertainment Powerhouse,
CJNM,
that were the group behind Parasite.
I mean, that was an Oscar-winning movie.
They just premiered Cat Biggie,
which was a 30-episode animation
created entirely using artificial intelligence
by just six specials.
specialists in five months.
Wow.
Okay.
So if you happen to catch Cat Biggie,
the 30-episode animated series,
it was done by AI,
by six specialists in five months,
a process that would typically require
massive teams and significantly more time.
The company's proprietary cinematic AI system
handles everything from 3D character modeling
to environmental design,
cranking out,
content at unprecedented speed and scale.
CJ E&M plans to expand into AI films and dramas this year, positioning itself as the global
AI studio.
And the news comes weeks after China announced state-backed plans to AI revamp 100 classic
Kung Fu movies featuring Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan.
And Hollywood is trying to discuss AI's role.
in the industry, it's already moving past them.
It's a little scary, actually.

Okay, who died today?
Who died today?
Honestly, I don't know where to begin.
So I'm just going to begin here,
and we're going to go down the list, okay?
Actor Julian McMahon, Julian McMahon, dead at the age of 56.
He played in Nip Tuck.
I loved him in Nick Tuck.
Nip Tuck.
What a great series.
He played Dr. Doom in the Fantastic Four.
He's been in FBI's Most Wanted.
Netflix is The Residents.
I mean, he was in TV's Charmed and the profiler,
Australian American actor.
I did not know that.
Has passed away.
And it said here he was reportedly 56.
I guess no one knew how old he was.
But according to the family,
he died peacefully this week after a very
valiant effort to overcome cancer. Wow, at the age of 56. Rest in peace to Julian McMahon,
dead at the age of 56. Then we have Mark Snow. The composer, I mean, he's composed giants.
The X-Files, Ghost Whisperer, Blue Bloods, Dead at the age of 78. He died at his home. They'll think they
gave a cause of death to Mark Snow
but he had, he was best
known for, well, I mean, there's a big
shows that he provided music for
but at the
X-Files theme was, you know, that
charted and he
had made that into a big hit.
15 Emmy nominations for
the X-Files. Five others were high-rated
TV shows like something about Amelia
America's story, oldest living confeder
widow, Children of Dust, Helter,
Skelter. And so he
was a Juilliard trained and
he said, he's
said, yeah, I just started, I was working alone in my home studio, all of the X-Files, TV
music, sometimes as much as 40 minutes a week per episode, was created on his synthesizer,
samplers, and other music machines. So, rest in peace to Mark Snow, dead at the age of
78. Then we go to Derek A.E. Furman.
Co-writer of Philip Phillips, gone, gone, gone.
Of course you know him.
He's passed away at the age of 44.
After battling cancer.
At the age of 44.
Okay.
Okay.
Rest in peace, Derek E. Furman, dead at the age of 44.
I'm not saying that these younger people are having these turbo
cancers because of that, because they would have said that. They would have told this, right?
Because I just have a story here of rest in peace to Kenneth Coley, or Collie, C-O-L-L-E-Y,
best known for, he was in the original Star Wars series and Monty Python's Life of Brian.
Okay. And he was, what I say, he was 87, so rest in peace. However, they did say in this story
that it was that. Well, they said that,
he died after contracting COVID and developing pneumonia.
So I'm guessing, you know, pneumonia was the official cause of death, but it was because of
COVID.
So when it's that, they tell us, right?
Right.
So rest in peace to Kenneth Cully dead at the age of 87.
Then, let's go to Liverpool, shall we?
Forward.
This is so sad, as if all these.
deaths aren't sad, but this is really sad. Liverpool forward. Diego Joto and his brother die in a car
crash. I know. It's so sad. I saw some of the footage. There were other vehicles involved.
The bodies were going to be taken for forensic analysis, but he was 28 and his brother was 25,
both Portuguese players and the only ones in the car. Really, really sad. He just got married,
not long ago too.
Didn't say what the cause of the accident was,
whether they were speeding,
or if the other person was under the influence
of some sort of a drug,
but he did die,
and I believe they burned to death in this car crash.
Very, very sad.
Rest in peace to Diogo Jota
and his brother,
dead at the age of 28 and 25.
Then we have another crash, Sophia Hutchins, dead at the age of 29.
She was Caitlin Jenner's manager.
She died in a tragic cliff accident.
So Sophia Hutchins, 29.
She was the manager, a close friend of Caitlin Jenner, was killed in a roadside collision that sent her plummeting off a cliff.
I don't recommend that for anyone.
I don't like that for anyone.
Apparently, she was driving an ATV when she reportedly ran into another car's bumper with such impact that it sent the vehicle plunging 350 feet down into a ravine.
Oh, wow.
Okay, so she was close to her home in Malibu.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
There were two people in the car hit by Hutchins.
They were not injured.
Wow.
Very sad.
So there's no one says who's at fault yet.
I don't know the answer to that question.
I just know what they reported here.
She ran into a car with her ATV and then plummeted off the cliff plunging 350 feet.
So rest in peace to Sophia Hutchins dead at the age of 29.
All right, that's, well, then we have one more, one more.
Dr. Phil.
No, Dr. Phil's still alive.
but his TV network has filed for bankruptcy
and accuses Kristen Broadcasting partner of sabotage.
So it's not his fault.
The conservative leaning cable network,
yeah, anti-woke cable network is what he was promoting it as.
Merritt Street Media is filing for bankruptcy barely a year after its launch.
Yeah, they went into a big-time launch.
And in fact, I personally know someone who worked there from the very beginning
and was laid off and then brought back as an independent contractor.
That's the way most of these companies work these days.
Someday I'll tell you a story
that he's now suing a distribution partner Trinity Broadcasting
for breach of contract.
In the lawsuit against the Christed Broadcaster Merritt Street,
Dr. Phil, alleged that Trinity reneged on its obligation
and abused its position as the controlling shareholder
of Merritt Street, leaving the Upstart channel with over $100 million in debt.
So we'll see what happens to Merritt Street Media and Dr. Phil.
Not dead yet, but life support is being used.

Big news yesterday from the U.S. Department of Justice
and the Federal Bureau of Investigations.
They have released what they say as part of their commitment
to transparency.
Yeah, okay.
All right.
I believe you.
I believe you.
They went ahead and did an exhaustive review of investigative holdings relating to Jeffrey Epstein.
So a couple of the highlights from their released statement.
This systematic review revealed no incriminating client list.
There was no credible evidence.
found that Epstein blackmailed prominent individuals as part of his actions.
We did not uncover evidence that could predicate an investigation against uncharged third parties.
One of the other sections says after thorough investigation, FBI investigators concluded that Jeffrey Epstein committed suicide in his cell at Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York City on August 10.
2019. The conclusion is consistent with previous findings, including the August 19th,
2019 autopsy findings of the New York City Office of the Chief Medical Examiner,
the November 2019 position of the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York
in connection with the investigation of federal correctional officers responsible for guarding
Epstein on the June 23 conclusions of the DOJ's office of the Inspector General.
So there you have it.
He died of a suicide.
They released footage from the jail.
That shows no one going in.
You have to believe that footage.
Right?
Right.
And there's no data or information that claims that there were anyone else involved.
No third parties involved in any of this.
So the women and children,
that Epstein was trafficking.
He was trafficking to just Jelaine Maxwell, I guess.
That's why she's in prison.
I don't know.
I don't know.
I just know that this was released from the U.S.
Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
I'm guessing this news is everywhere.
I'm guessing it's real.
Could it be false?
Yes.
Did we hear immediately from Pan Boundy and Cash Patel
that that report was fake and it came from nowhere?
No, we did not.
So I doubt that it's fake.
So there.
There you go.
It's all done.
Solved.
Oh, and for those of you that were concerned about the electronic system that's keeping an eye on Wimbledon,
the system called Hawkeye that is now replacing humans as line judges,
sure,
Wimbledon is still going on
and I know Jokevick is
eyeing his eighth title
and they're battling today
and of course we'll have breakfast
at Wimbledon sometime in the next week
it's usually on Sundays I know
I don't look at me like that
but I will say that
when they had a screw up
over the weekend
when the ball was long
and they didn't have a call from Hawkeye
they paused the game
and the ref was like, well, we just need to delay
and we need to replay the shot.
Everyone knew the ball was long,
but it wasn't called by Hawkeye.
Well, is that AI's fault?
Is that Hawkeye's fault?
No.
First of all, what we want you to know
is that the reason that Hawkeye did not make the call
is because somebody shut it off.
It was human error.
It wasn't because of the computer system.
It was human error.
We are not going to tell you who shut it off.
We're not going to tell you whose fault it is,
but just know that it's not the fault of Hawkeye, okay?
Hawkeye wasn't working.
Apparently, between matches, it gets shut down,
and somebody forgot to turn it back on for the new match.
And they actually said that, well, they were like,
the technology was used.
There were three points that were scored.
Gosh, darn, it was off.
What are we going to do?
We just deactivated it.
I don't know what happened.
Well, we know what happened.
Someone forgot to turn it on.
But it was human error, not computer error.
Plus, we want to be sure,
and they're sending the record straight here from Wimbledon,
this is not AI, okay?
This is a computer system that is powered with humans in the background,
and the human system is just the Hawkeye.
All right, it's not AI taking it over, okay?
So why don't you just shut your face?
And we're not hiring.
hearing humans back, okay?
We're not doing it.
We're using this.
So shut up.
All right, let's get out of here.
I'll leave you with, well, it's a joke of the day,
but it's really more of a thought of the day,
and we've kind of talked about it before.
You know, the lotto
is still giving people hope.
The Powerball drawing tonight,
actually, the 7th of July
is worth $203 million,
$92.5 million cash payout.
And the mega-mill
which draws on tomorrow, the 8th of July, is worth 70 million.
Oh, man, only 31.3 million cash payout.
I guess I'd take it.
I guess I'd take it.
But William sent in his thought slash kind of joke for the day.
And it's kind of true.
Kind of holds true for everyone.
If I win the lottery, no one around me will be poor.
And I'll be moving to a wealthy neighborhood.
Trying to, you know, tie into my taking care of everyone in my orbit if I were to win the big lottery.
And I understand that.
And you got to know, even if you're going to move to a wealthy neighborhood, you still have to give some money to family and friends, don't you?
Don't you?
Yeah, you know you do.
Wait, you don't?
