said he planned to take a deep sea submersible to Titanic level depths. And he wants to go down and prove that the personal sub-industry is safe. All right. Now, this, you know, not too long ago, we had the Ocean Gate implosion, right, where they went down and it, well, blew up, killed them all. Everyone died. and he's already taken explorations to the Mariana Trench, the International Space Station. He wants to travel with Triton submarines co-founder Patrick Leahy, and they're going to plunge to the ocean's depths in the Triton 4,002 explorer.

It's a two-person submersible listed on the company's website for about $20 million. Now there's a... Descendant of Titanic survivors. Now what? They're going to go down to about 12,400 feet, 2.3 miles in the two-person submissible to the historic shipwreck site. The descendant of the Titanic survivors, Shelly Binder, she's not happy. She said that the Titanic should be a resting place and should be left undisturbed, especially following the Ocean Gate disaster.

That's a little bit too late for that, Shelly. I don't know if you know this, but we've already, we've got stuff. We've picked it. We've got stuff from the Titanic. In fact, the building that I'm in has a Titanic lifeboat hanging from the ceiling. So it's a, don't bog me down with facts, whether it's the movie or it's the actual Titanic. Okay. I'm just telling you that there's a Titanic lifeboat.

hanging from the ceiling in this building. And she goes on to say that for generations, people who have the money are going to spend it doing things to prove their machismo and appease their sense of adventure. But does that mean they should? Yes, they should.

So the countdown is on as we speak. We're recording, chewing the fat right now, and the Boeing launch that was to be this past Saturday, which was axed four minutes to launch. And it was delayed from the original day, which was, I don't know, a month ago, almost a month ago. So they checked everything. They checked the phnorteners. They tightened up any lug notes, any hex and bolts, whatever had to be tightened up. There was some leakage issues. and I know that there was a computer ground launch sequencer

that wasn't loading into the correct operational configuration after they were proceeded into the terminal account. So they just couldn't do it, obviously. So NASA astronauts Butch Wilmore and Sunni Williams, I believe are already on board the Boeing Starliner spacecraft and the ULA's Atlas V rocket that's launching off of Complex 41 in Cape Canaveral Space Station in Florida. And they're supposed to go up today at 1052 Eastern time.

And as far as right now, the launch is still a go. So let's check in with NASA and see if it's still a go. And in case of an abort on the pad early in the asset. This will likely be the last you hear from us until live. So we are going to send you back to the team in Florida to let Megan D and Mike see us for the rest of the countdown. I went in. I was purchasing two tickets, as a matter of fact. And I get the upgrade, so it's three bucks. and then I went under the machine and they have the machine now they don't want to bog down the people who work there to check the tickets. They've actually got the little scanner now

in front of the lotto machine that you scan your own tickets. So you just put it on a boop and then it comes up how much you won. Usually it comes up not a winner. It never works. I had quite a few people laughing a couple days ago when I went in

and it was like, Boop. This thing never works right. It's always not a winner. I had the girl behind the counter. She actually stood up straight instead of leaning over the red cash register. Like, oh, there's a problem.

I was like, yeah, it just reads not a winner. And some guy down the line goes, mine does that too. And so then, I was a little lottery fun at the old gasoline station. Oh, yeah. You'll eat them if they're there. The Food and Drug Administration announced a recall of cucumbers potentially contaminated with salmonella. The Fresh Start Produce Sales, Inc. of Delray, Florida, is recalling cucumbers that were shipped to wholesalers and distributors in 14 states from May 17th through May 21st. Now, they're probably already gone off the racks,

but you don't know. Just keep it. Keep an eye out if you live in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, or West Virginia. You know, good luck they still would be there. You may feel the issues of salmonella with those cucumbers you purchase. Tell you what, you know how you get a free cucumber? recall of ice cream, which is I hate it when ice cream. One of my favorite foods to consume is ice cream. Get out of here. I know. I know, but it is. There's a recall in Texas only. Well, they shipped some of the ice cream to Mexico. Nobody cares about that. So it's here in Texas only.

The two recalled ice cream products. See, that's the headline. The headline is very disturbing to me. The headline says there's two recalled ice cream products. However, when you get it in a lot of the headline, the headline says, it's very disturbing to me. However, when you get into the story, then there's three. So I feel like I'm lied to from the headline. Anyway, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and I love them. More than a month ago, they were notified and notified consumers about this ice cream.

But now they're reclassifying the recall. Weird. Okay, so it's H.E.B. It's the ice cream, the three-ounce creamy creation chocolate ice cream, 12-pack. and the three-ounce creamy creations ice cream, lime orange combo 12-pack, and not two but three, the vanilla cups at H-E-B.

They were produced by San Antonio-based H-EB, have, well, potential metal contamination. That would seem to me it should have been classified right from the very beginning. I don't understand that. Now, there's three different classifications for things that get recalled. You can, this one that is number two. That is issued when a situation in which use of or exposure to a violative product may cause

temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences or the probability of serious adverse health consequences is remote. I don't know. Is it remote that I'm eating some sort of shard of rebar? I don't know. I don't know. But, you know, we'll say we'll give them the benefit of the doubt. Maybe early on we just knew something was wrong and we didn't know it was potential metal.

Early on, we knew something was wrong. And then they found out that Joe ground up some bolt and it ended up in the ice cream. That's very possible. Then you have the class one recall. which there, when there is reasonable probability, that use or exposure to a product could cause serious adverse health consequences or death. Yeah, no kidding.

I'd like Class 1 recall. I recall that immediately. And the less serious Class 3 recall is designated when a product is deemed unlikely to cause any adverse health consequences if consumed or used. So, I just, it's kind of concerning.

To me, and it's more concerning when there's metal shards of things, possible, possible metal shards of things in my food, especially ice cream. That could be an issue. and then have something bad happen. You know, I don't want that at all. So let's see if the Boeing and the ULV Atlas V rocket can finally get off there. Boeing can actually put some astronauts into space. I mean, Elon's been doing it.

How long? Elon's, that's like sawing wood to Elon now. Here we go. Roger. Roger that. We're coming up. up on a minute five. If the emergency detection system

on Atlas detects something. Oh, report range status. Wait a minute. If we detected something, we're under a minute. Under a minute. Before, COP started.

It's awesome. And it'd be a whole bunch now that Elon's actually been doing it, but now we have a styler and Boeing launching some too. And Elon's going to launch some more tomorrow as well. They're still climbing. We're a minute 10 into the launch. Oh, man. Okay, so everything's still a go looking good.

Yeah, thank you. Why? You got a good job. The audio from NASA. Starliner and Atlas. Looking good with speeds and attitude increasing as expected. Coming up in less than 20 seconds, the solid rocket boosters will run out of fuel and burnout.

All right. And then if you're underneath them, you'll get hit in the head when they hit the Earth. But it's going to be in the water. Okay, we got it. Sweet. So the launch actually happened. I'll be.

They pulled it off. Almost a month after the original launch date, they pulled it off. Congratulations. NASA and Boeing and Starliner, the whole damn crew. Good. That call, good handle from Capcom Joshua Putrick, indicating the crew now has the ability to initiate an abort manually if needed. They're not doing that.

Butch and SUNY or smoking cigarettes. They're riding along. They're headed for that. There it goes. All right, we've lost that. All right. So the launch has been successful. If something bad happens now, I'll let you know as we progress here into chewing the fat. But we did have the launch from the Boeing Starliner from NASA, astronauts, Butch Wilmer and SUNY Williams. Now, they are going to meet at the ISS. Originally it was reported they were going to be there for a week. and then we're going to come back

and they parachute down somewhere in the southwest United States. Let's see if Boeing can pull that one off. All right, let's go to the break room. I need something cold to drink desperately. You see where Sillion Murphy is coming back to play Tommy Shelby in Netflix's Peaky Blinders film. Nice. I know.

I didn't think that was going to happen. I thought Sillion said he was done playing characters that smoked. He'd smoked like 8 billion of those clove cigarettes, and he didn't want to smoke anymore. He did Oppenheimer who smoked. He did, what's his face in Peky Blinders, who smoked Tommy Shelby. So I thought he was done with that.

Apparently, he was done with that until Netflix said, hey, we'll give you all this money. And then he said, you know what, okay. Oh, you know what? You're twisted by it. arm. I'll smoke some more close cigarettes and be in character for you. No problem.

So it's been a greenlit by Netflix. He's going to serve as the executive producer of this to him, of course. The film will be directed by Tom Harper, written by Steve Knight. Murphy expressed his excitement, did he, stating that Tommy Shelby wasn't finished with him

and that the project is one for the fans. Filming is scheduled to begin later this year. the movie set to premiere on Netflix. So if they film later this year, you're not going to get that till middle to end of next year for Netflix. So anyway, you know, it's coming back.

It'll be good. I mean, maybe, maybe you'll be able to understand half the words they say during the show. I don't know. That show is one of those shows where it's probably a good idea to have the closed captioned on while you watch it. I don't know if everyone does that. I don't because I can understand

what they're talking about. But those of you that can't and are dumb. Go ahead and put the close caption on because it probably help you figure out what they're actually saying. But good for him. Don't forget, we talked about some of the newer shows coming out. I forgot to mention House of Dragon

starts in another 10 days or so too. All new season, the House of Dragon. I'm kind of looking forward to that. I know, it's the House of Dragon, and it's, you know, it was kind of the woke house of Dragon. I got it. But it was still, it was still, you know, fun to watch

and I like the whole period piece. But then because we have a House of Dragon, I see where, isn't it interesting that at the same time, Max, I'm sorry, HBO's Max, is raising their prices. Huh. Isn't that interesting? And when are they going to start that? Oh, I know. They're going to start that yesterday. Today is,

the 5th of June, 2024. They released, press release, yesterday on the 4th, and said, ah, it's effective immediately. Okay. Nice. Thank you. I did not know. I tell you one thing I did not know,

is I didn't know about the ad-supported version of Max. That's got to be part of their new Warner Brothers Discovery deal. Because they talk about in this release that, Max's ad-free tier in the U.S., which always was ad-free, that was the whole thing behind HBO. I can't call it Max. Will rise a dollar from $1599 to $16.99 a month.

The annual plan will jump from $14999 to $1.69.69. Wait a minute. So if I'm only spending a dollar more a month, that's 12. but if I get the annual plan I'm spending $20 more, why would I do that? It doesn't make any sense. The ultimate ad-free tier

will also increase by a dollar a month rising to $299 a month and by $10 per year bringing the new annual to $209.99. The max ad-supported version's price is unchanged at $9.99 a month. You can still get that for $10. That's nice of them.

I pay for the commercial free ad free tier on Hulu and yet I still find myself having to sit through sub-commercial because those don't count apparently those are oh that doesn't count that belongs to another what? Yeah that belongs to another platform and Hulu doesn't have control over that.

So what am I paying for? I just I can't. I just can't But I will. So my man, Alec Baldwin, is back in the news. For a couple of different stories.

So his lawsuit, I'm sorry, the trial against him for involuntary manslaughter is still ongoing. That starts in less than a month now. Oh, maybe a month. July 9th, I think is the date that it starts in. So they've got big to-dos now because New Mexico prosecutor, have asked to have Hannah Guterres read, the armor who has found guilty,

testify. Well, she's already been found guilty. So she's already said, you know, she'll probably take the fifth. She testified that she inadvertently put live ammunition into the prop gun that was holding it. She, you know, she's serving

18 months in prison now. Alec, could be facing 18 months as well if he were to be found guilty, but he's continually insisted, insisted that he never pulled the trigger. You believe whatever you want to believe. Even if he did pull the trigger, honestly, I don't care. Alex is such a doof, but he should not be on trial for this. Anyway, so we'll see.

I mean, she has said all along that it was all her. That was the deal. It was just incredible. She has said that it was, now sure, Alec. No, okay, first of all, stop for a second, okay, we got to get this. I know it's been a while since he's been in the news, but when I say his first name, that's the gun cocking. When I say his first name and his last name, that's the gunshot.

If I just say Mr. Baldwin, that doesn't count. If I just, okay, so if I just say the Baldwin family, that doesn't come. Because I want to get this right. Because it's been a while, and he's going to be in the news now coming up, because the fans have voted on this show that the gunshots and the gun cocking remains when I talk about Al, at least until the trial is over. Okay. Now, when we talk about the news story that's going on,

I don't know that I can keep up the gunshots for the news. story but it's going to be awesome this new story today outside of this trial because there was some fantastic news today and I truly am looking forward to it I mean I got that Baldwin no gotcha you know doesn't want her to talk about what a do she was on set how he was in a during firearms training. He could become upset and have emotional fits, which threw her off. But so what?

She has said all along that it was her fault. She should have checked the gun better. She talked about how she was very clear that she should have done better. And that's not Alex's fault. That's fine. That's not Alex.
