Kraft Heinz is in trouble because of Kraft
Starting point is 00:00:40 macaroni and cheese. I mean, it's the iconic macaroni and cheese. Comes in a box. And U.S. District Judge Mary Rowland has said that Illinois, California, and New York consumers leading the lawsuit plausibility, alleged that Kraft mac and cheese, contain synthetic form of citric acid, differing from the natural variety and also sodium phosphates. Oh, what? So you mean no artificial flavors, preservatives, or dyes like it says on the box? Isn't true? Oh, no. So the plaintiffs specifically alleged that the ingredients functioned as preservatives, making the Kraft Hines claim of no artificial flavors, preservatives, or dyes on the labels, false, and cited academic studies and U.S. Food and Drug Administration guidance to support their case.
Starting point is 00:01:39 These allegations are enough to withstand a motion to dismiss. Here we go. Here we go. The plaintiff's craft said, no, they lack standing to demand new labels. We're aware of the deceptive practices. and there's no risk future harm. Not so fast. So we'll see what happens. No one is common.
Starting point is 00:02:04 And I don't know how much they're asking for, or if they're asking for just the change that the Kraft mac and cheese box product, not say no artificial flavors, preservatives, or dyes. I will say I'm a fan of Kraft macaroni and cheese. Do I 100% believe that there's no artificial flavors, preservatives, or dyes? Nah, no. Do I care? Nah, no.
Starting point is 00:02:36 Again, I don't know what they're asking for. It says here they're seeking damages for fraud, unjust enrichment, and violations of state consumer protection laws. And I know there's all kinds of lawsuits now challenging the accuracy or precision of food labels. But we shall see. In 2023, a Miami federal judge dismissed a lawsuit accusing Kraft of Kraft, sorry, Kraft Heinz, of understanding how long it took to prepare microwavable Velvita macaroni and cheese. I think we'll be okay. I think we'll be okay if the Kraft macaronians,
Starting point is 00:03:16 you're not buying Kraft macaroni and cheese in a box because it's supposed to be a health food. Are you? I don't think so. Welcome. Welcome to chewing the fat. Delta and Amazon confirmed that employee data was stolen from a vendor through a vulnerability in the Move It File Transfer Tool. Oh, that's a special. Delta spokesperson told a recorded future news investigator that an investigation confirmed
Starting point is 00:03:56 the data is internal directory information originating from a third party partner, not from the company's own systems. Oh, if that makes it okay? The data set includes things like names, contact information, office location, but no, no sensitive personal information. Delta teams work continuously to safeguard Delta's data as the security and integrity of that information is the utmost important. Yeah, we know, we know.
Starting point is 00:04:23 The statement comes in a response to a dark web, post by a hacker using the moniker name three less, NAM, the number three, capital L, the number three SS, who said they plan to release troves of data stolen through the Move It vulnerability. Oh, that just resulted in a raft of breaches last summer. That's all. Alongside Amazon with Delta,
Starting point is 00:04:47 23 other major companies and governments were named in the post. That's all, though. It's just your information. The Amazon spokesperson, and said the unnamed vendor receives employee contact information but does not collect more sensitive data, you know, like social security numbers, ID card details. Oh, okay. And by the way, we've fixed that vulnerability. So don't even worry about it. We're fine. The AWS systems remain secure, along with Amazon systems, remain secure. And we have not experienced a security event.
Starting point is 00:05:19 Uh-huh. We were notified about a security event at one of our property management vendors that impacted several of its customers, including Amazon. Oh, the only Amazon information involved was employee work contact information, email addresses, desk phone numbers, building locations. That's it, though. The cybersecurity firm MSSoft estimates that 2,773 organizations were impacted by the attacks on Move It. And records of nearly 9, records of 96 million people were exposed and stolen by the group behind the exploitation. So, once you... Once again, I just want you to know that your information is out there. You just do the best you can to keep it safe.
Starting point is 00:06:02 This is not a commercial. I'm just telling you you have to do the best you can to keep your information safe because your information is out there. According to professionals, look, the information was names, email addresses, phone numbers, cost center codes, entire organizational structures, such data, you know, sure it could serve as a gold mine for cybeau criminals seeking to engage in fishing, identity theft, and even social engineering attacks on a larger scale. But, you know, don't worry about it because it's fine.
Starting point is 00:06:35 We've got it all under control. They claim, the hacker claimed, that he's got thousands of releases coming in the future. So, just heads up and do the very best you can to keep your information safe because the information. safe because the information is out there. You know that right. And the government is on it. Don't you worry about it. They've issued an indictment against a ransomware attacker, Alexander Viktorovich Risenkhov. That's right, Risenkhov, a Russian national, R-Y-Z-H-E-N-K-O-V. He's charged with using the BitPamer ransomware variant to perform attacks on numerous victims in Texas and throughout the United States holding their sensitive data for ransom.
Starting point is 00:07:24 Oh, okay. So he's a malware developer for the Russian cyber criminal group Evil Corps. And the indictment centers on the ransomware attacks that he allegedly committed against companies headquartered in or having data centers in Texas. So from 2017, he and his co-conspirators used BitPamer ransomware to gain access to the information stored on victims' computer networks, according to the recently. unsealed indictment. They encrypted the files of the victim companies. The only files victims could open were electronic notes containing ransom demands and instructions for contacting the attackers to start
Starting point is 00:08:01 negotiations. So don't worry about it. He's wanted by the FBI. And they have put that wanted poster everywhere. And hopefully we'll get him. Right. I mean, hopefully we will get him. Now, I will say that I liked the wanted poster. He was born in. He was born in. used Bekistan, former Soviet Union Republic. He supposedly was born in 1993, so was that making him 30, 31, something like that now. And he used many different aliases like Jim Morrison, Lizard King. Anna Annaman. Yeah, okay.
Starting point is 00:08:42 All right. So be on the lookout. His wanted posters out there. If you run into Alexander. Victorovich, rise henkoff, be sure to alert the authorities. And if you're concerned about,
Starting point is 00:08:58 you know, your information being out there and being hacked and you're just going to take a nice big cold drink of water, maybe you shouldn't take a nice big cold drink of water of the Berkeley Club beverages out of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia. They
Starting point is 00:09:14 have now been reclassified. They recalled them back at September. And then they recalled them. They put out a new reclassification just a few days ago. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is recalling 151,397 bottles of water due to bacterial contamination. Yeah. Now, again, they originally recalled it back in September, but now they've reclassified it as a Class 3 recall.
Starting point is 00:09:45 And, you know, Class 3 is a situation where it could be, you could be exposed. to something that is likely to cause adverse health consequences. So you just don't know. You just don't know. The water quality monitoring and management team, which is awesome, claims that coliform bacteria often are considered indicators of fecal contamination and thus pathogenic interic bacteria. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:16 Now, we don't know that we just know that there could be E. coli in the water. The FDA did not specifically state which type of cauliflower was found in the water. We just don't know. We don't know if it's going to, you know, make you have diarrhea, stomach crabs, vomiting. It's possible. So we just don't know. And they didn't specifically state what to do if you've purchased the product. So I guess take it back.
Starting point is 00:10:46 Okay. The Berkeley Springs water purified and Berkeley Springs water distilled, one gallon and five gallon units, West Virginia, Maryland and Virginia. So if you're in that neck of the woods and drink Berkeley Springs water, purified and or distilled, take a look. And if you have the product code, and it gives the product code numbers here on the recall. But I would say that I would, if I had any Berkeley Springs water, I would probably take it back and say, Why don't you give me a new one? But, you know, you don't know that. So take a look at those numbers, 09, 036, 0426, 0526, and 0626, all starting with 0.09. And if you have bottles with those numbers, I would go ahead and take them back just to be safe.
Starting point is 00:11:34 Just to be safe. With Amex Platinum, $400 in annual credits for travel and dining means you not only satisfy your travel bug, but your taste buds too. That's the powerful backing of Amex. Conditions apply. So the election is over. We're cutting into the holidays. We've got Thanksgiving just around the corner. Heck, Christmas and New Year's is right around the corner as well.
Starting point is 00:12:13 And you're thinking, you know what? I need to change. I need to change some things up. We should probably move. And if you're thinking about doing that, you're probably going to need some help because it's complicated and it takes a lot of time and a lot of jumping through hoops that you probably don't.
Starting point is 00:12:30 want to jump through yourself. And the stakes are pretty high because you want to get the most money for the house that you're selling. And if you're selling your house and looking to buy another house, you want to pay the least amount of money for that place. Right? Of course you do. So you need a real estate agent that's going to help you with all of this, but you don't want to just have some ordinary agent who doesn't really know what they're doing. You want the best. Real estate agents I trust.com. Real estate agents I trust pairs you with the top selling real estate agent in your area. It's a free service, real estate agents, I trust.com. Someone who knows the best practices, someone who understands the crazy housing market, someone who's a team leader and a closer,
Starting point is 00:13:10 someone, of course, that you can trust. That's because the name of the company is real estate agents, I can trust. So if you're thinking about buying or selling a home or both, get in touch with them. You'll see exactly what I'm talking about. Go to real estate agents.I trust.com. Real estate agents I trust.com. Those of you in South Carolina, You know, good luck. You've got monkeys still on the loose. We've got emus on the loose. I don't know what else is on the loose in South Carolina.
Starting point is 00:13:38 We have at last report, we still had eight monkeys from the Alpha Genesis primate research facility loose. Now, I guess we're to believe that they are not wandering around the neighborhoods. They are hanging out at the fence, looking at the other monkeys inside. Did a nan and a boo, but we're still out. out here and they're trying to coax them with peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. That's what we're told. So I don't know what's happening. I don't know if Alpha Genesis has got them all yet.
Starting point is 00:14:09 Last report, they did not. And they still claim that they had not undergone testing due to their age and size. So it's fine. They're too young to be disease carriers. Uh-huh. But they're still telling you, as far as I know, keep your windows locked and your doors locked. And if you see them, please alert the authorities. I would say keep the shotgun loaded.
Starting point is 00:14:30 by the front door as well, but that would be just me. Then we got news this weekend about a couple of emos. Not close to a Yemisee where the monkeys are, a couple hundred miles away, I think it is, but still in South Carolina. Apparently a guy has, you know, keeps emos, and he's got a couple that have not been trained yet, according to the man who has the emoes.
Starting point is 00:14:56 And he has cancer, and he was trying to move the emoes around, and the two emo escaped and said, no, we don't want to go this way. And he's too weak from the cancer to, you know, hold him down. So I get it. Okay, I understand. He wants people to help, no problem. He said, you know, just if you see him,
Starting point is 00:15:15 I guess people are videotaping him, they see him around. And they've got to find a way to tranquilize him and get him back to this man, Mr. Morris, Hardy Morris, who owns the emoes. And apparently he's got, He got these two at an auction. The other was rescued, and he named them Thelma and Louise. Ha!
Starting point is 00:15:37 Get it? Thelman Louise? Yeah, I got it. So then, on the loose, in the one story where it talks about the emoes, they're mean, man. You don't want to mess with the emo. I'm telling you, they're large, flightless creatures,
Starting point is 00:15:55 second largest living bird. They average height is five and a half feet. And the females like the ones escaped in South Carolina can weigh more than 130 pounds. And they're not native to the U.S. So they're naturally reside in Australia. And you see how big they are in that stupid commercial where the emu is on there. But I guess he's fine. Anyway, he warns people that, look, be careful because they will attack you.
Starting point is 00:16:20 Now, obviously, just like any animal, they're more scared of you than you are of them. Uh-huh. But he said the last time that some emu's his... escaped from his ranch, they were attacked by three wild dogs, and the emus killed the dogs. So if Fluffy sees the imu and starts barking and chasing after the emu,
Starting point is 00:16:45 Fluffy's going down. So I would have, maybe you know what? Anybody in South Carolina needs to have their weapons locked and loaded and be prepared. No, I don't need the sound effects. Everyone knows what the locked and loaded sound effect is right there you go
Starting point is 00:17:02 and of course if you were to see the emu and Fluffy was chasing after it and the emu started attacking Fluffy you may want to or you can just call
Starting point is 00:17:13 the authorities and let Fluffy go maybe if the wife isn't home and you are sick of Fluffy go tell Fluffy to attack the emu and then what are you going to do? What are you going to do the emu killed Fluffy? You know it's probably a good idea to have your weapon locked and loaded it
Starting point is 00:17:29 all times anyway. I just read a story where they have a mountain lion sighting here in DFW in Frisco. Some guys checking his ring cam in the backyard and there you see the mountain lion cruising through the backyard. Yeah, you don't want to mess with a mountain lion. You don't want none of that. And according to the experts, they are uncommon. They have a home range of about 100 to 200 miles.
Starting point is 00:17:55 So they roam. Uh-huh. And they can roam someplace else. with the where they can roam. Not in my frack yard. Now, according to this, Texas Wildlife says it's setting up trail cameras in this area,
Starting point is 00:18:08 and it's possible the mountain lion is already away from the region. Yes, it is possible. It's also possible that it's not. So it's just making its way through. Just passing by, that's all. Now, according to Texas Park and Wildlife, it says that the amount of mountain lions
Starting point is 00:18:25 in North Texas are close to 5,000, I find that hard to believe. 5,000 mountain lions in Texas, in North Texas? Come on now. Come on. I don't think there's that many, or we'd have more sightings.
Starting point is 00:18:40 But it said anyone who encounters a mountain lion should pick up all children off the ground immediately. Do not approach the lion. Stay calm, talk calmly, and move slowly. Face the lion and remain in an upright position. Uh-huh. Do not turn your back on the lion, back away slowly. Uh-huh. Do not run.
Starting point is 00:19:03 Do all you can to enlarge your image. Do not crouch down or try to hide. If the lion is aggressive, throw rocks, sticks, or anything you can get your hands on. Yeah, you know, like your weapon. And then it says if the lion attacks, fight back, fighting back can drive off lines. Yeah, no kidding. And by fighting back, I would be using my weapon. So if you see a mountain lion in northern Texas, that's how you save yourself.
Starting point is 00:19:35 There's 5,000 of them in North Texas? I find that hard to believe. Oh, look, and it was just updated. Oh, my gosh. So now I guess there's only 4,999. Because this weekend, the mountain lion that I was telling you about, or at least they believe, that it was the mountain lion I was telling you about, I was shot dead. It was about six feet in length and weighed about 160 pounds.
Starting point is 00:19:57 So the mountain lion, again, they're very uncommon, very uncommon. But according to Game Wartens, they believe that the mountain line killed this weekend in North Texas was the same mountain lion. And so hunters saw the mountain lion going up to its deer feeder and said, no, that is not going to happen. So we have 4,99 possible mountain lions in Texas. that one is gone. It says here that the hunter plans to take the mountain lion to a taxidermist. I hope
Starting point is 00:20:35 he takes them down to Conroe Taxidermy. That's right. Down there, you can Conroe Taxidermy.com. Check it out because I do great work and have done great work for years. So if the North Texas hunter needs a taxidermist, there you go. Conrad Taxidermy
Starting point is 00:20:50 in Conroe, Texas. You're welcome. All right, let's go to the break room. I need something cold to drink it. Congratulations. Congratulations are in order to Conan O'Brien. Conan O'Brien is to host the 2025 Academy Awards. He will emcee the 97th Oscar ceremony on March 2nd on ABC for the first time. So the Emmy-winning late-night television host, writer, producer,
Starting point is 00:21:25 previously hosted the 2002-2006 Emmy Awards, while it was a long time ago, as well as the 2014 MTV Movie Awards. Another man, that's a long 10 years ago. O'Brien, they gave him the gig because Jimmy Kimmel has done it a couple years and we were done with him. Nobody wanted Jimmy anymore.
Starting point is 00:21:44 I mean, he didn't even want to do it anymore, thank God. But congratulations to Conan O'Brien to be the host of the 2025 Academy Awards. Hopefully he'll get us through it with some kind of comedy that isn't Jim. Jimmy Kimmel comedy. And I see where the 58th annual CMA Awards, the CMA Awards, coming up this week, as a matter of fact, the 20th Wednesday, is going to be hosted by Luke Bryan, Peyton Manning, and Laney Wilson.
Starting point is 00:22:16 Isn't that, I mean, they did that last year too, right? Pretty sure. At least I remember Peyton being there. So I feel like Luke Brian and Peyton, because I remember thinking that really wasn't, I didn't think that was a good pairing. But apparently the world did. And then we'll have all the stars there. you know, Luke Holmes, Jelly Roll, Chris Dapleton, Lainey Wilson, they'll all perform. Morgan Wallen has not been announced.
Starting point is 00:22:36 Wow. Morgan Wallen has not been announced as a performer on the broadcast. Why is he getting the boot at the CMAs? We'll see. We'll see. But congratulations to all involved at the... We'll look forward. We'll look forward to the 58th annual CMA Awards.
Starting point is 00:22:52 Will you look forward to it? Yeah, that's what I just said. Also, congratulations are in order to Miss Denmark, Victoria K-J-A-E-R Thielwig, crowned the 2024 Missed the universe. Congratulations to Victoria K-J-A-E-R- Thilvig, as you were crowned the 2024 Missed universe.
Starting point is 00:23:18 Chidema Adesina. And other nerds, Miss Nigeria. named first runner-up of Miss Universe, Miss Nigeria, C-H-I-M-A, A-D-S-H-H-I-N-A, named first runner-up in the Miss Universe pageant, congratulations. How about that Tyson-Paul fight, huh? Or is it Jake Paul, Mike Tyson fight?
Starting point is 00:23:49 I'm not sure. It's either Mike Tyson versus Jake Paul or Jake Paul versus Mike Tyson. How about that fight, huh? Wasn't it something? Yes, it was. Eight rounds. Two minutes each. Kind of sad, actually.
Starting point is 00:24:00 But the other fights were pretty good. We got the Coyette Nunez fight, which was pretty good. We got the dry hump in the rear during that fight, which was hilarious. The unanimous decision for Coyat six rounds in that fight. And then we had the Barrios Ramos fight, the Welterweight Championship fight. That ended in a draw. It was kind of sad that it equaled in the draw. So Barrios continued with.
Starting point is 00:24:28 the belt. He continues to keep the belt. So Ramos didn't defeat the champ. Kind of sad. And then the Taylor-Sarano fight was awesome, except that they gave the fight to Taylor, which is highway robbery.
Starting point is 00:24:44 Serrano should have won that fight. That was a fun fight to watch and Serrano should have won it. Now, let's talk about the issues that they had on the fight because we had Netflix claims They hauled in 60 million households peaked at like 65 million.
Starting point is 00:25:03 They had 72,300 people at AT&T, record 18 million at the gate. I mean, huge. The whole thing was a huge success. Except, you know, the down detector received more than 500,000 reports of users having problems with the live stream. Yeah. Yeah. There was a big issue. I mean, we kept getting audio dropouts.
Starting point is 00:25:31 Audio would go dead. And then in the beginning, the screen would freeze. And then you have to back out and get back in. And good luck with that. That might take a while. And then audio would drop out. And so you'd back out and it'd take a while to get back in. And then so the one fight, the barrios, or no, the Serrano fight,
Starting point is 00:25:53 I had no audio, but drove my son, crazy, but I was like, I'm not backing out of this fight. No, I have perfect video, just no audio. I can call my own fight. So I just left it there. I said, I'm not backing out of it until we're done with the Serrano fight, and then however long it takes to get me back in, then we're fine. It didn't take long. Then we're back in and everything was fine. We didn't have to catch the Tyson-Paul fight. And I will say that, you know, I got me right back in as they went to Mike Tyson, in the locker room and Mike was walking around
Starting point is 00:26:29 with no pants on. He gets interviewed by his son, gives him a quick kiss and walks away and the cameraman follows him walking away and he's got no pants on. It's awesome. Looks like he's still got his boxing jock strap on with the back brace,
Starting point is 00:26:46 but no shorts. So we got to see Mike Tyson's ass that was awesome. It was just hilarious. I know. Just stop. it was funny. You know it was. You enjoyed it. And then, you know, the fight itself was, you know, questionable. Do I think that the fix was in? No, I do not. Do I think that it was understood
Starting point is 00:27:08 that the fight needed to go eight rounds and that they all made more money if the fight went eight rounds? Yes, I think that was understood. I think that was in the contract, some of the paperwork I read. I don't know if it was all true or not, that everybody got more money. If it went to all eight rounds. You know, the network wanted it. You know, the fighters wanted it. So I think it was understood. Do I feel like maybe there was a chance in the early fight that Tyson might have a shot against Jake?
Starting point is 00:27:39 Yes. After the second round, though, no. Mike really showed his age. He looked really old. And Jake, I feel like, you know, milked the system to get the eight rounds in and paid respects to the great fighter that Mike Tyson. was, is, has been. And so, you know, it's fine. Everybody was complaining.
Starting point is 00:28:00 It was fine. You paid your Netflix. It wasn't pay-per-view. So, I mean, I know. I argued about that because we're still paying for Netflix. I know. But you were going to pay for Netflix anyway. So you didn't have to pay extra for the pay-per-view.
Starting point is 00:28:13 And it was a huge event. And we were all part of it. We all got to see it. We all got to feel like we were part of a big worldwide thing, which we were. And so, you know, whatever. It was fine. I hate this phrase, but I'm going to say it anyway. That is what it is.
Starting point is 00:28:29 That is what it is. And then the next night, we saw Donald Trump get a hero's welcome at the UFC fight. Man, he came in walking with his entire posse into that UFC fight at Madison Square Gardens. And it was unbelievable. The crowd went crazy when he came in with his entire posse and all the stars were there. It's pretty remarkable. You can find the footage online if you want to. go out of your way to find it.
Starting point is 00:28:55 But that walk-in with Dana and his entire posse behind him at the fight, I mean, it was just, it was remarkable. It was remarkable. That place went crazy. So the fight, the Tyson ball fight was Friday night, so I was in a pretty good mood. And then college football rolled around on Saturday, which I love.
Starting point is 00:29:13 I love college football, but it was a terrible college football weekend for me. Missouri lost. They drove down in the final two minutes of the game to take the lead, and then they let South Carolina drive down. And with under two minutes left in the game and to win the game, to take the lead away from it. It was just horrible. It just ripped my heart out.
Starting point is 00:29:33 And then BYU, you lost. They're not undefeated. I was rooting for them. I didn't think they could win the national championship, which Pat and I were fighting about, you know, for the past couple weeks. But I wanted them to be undefeated. I was still rooting for them. And they lost just horribly.
Starting point is 00:29:47 They're the Kansas Jayhawks. I can't take Kansas. I just can't take them. They were a, you know, a rival of ours. when we were in the Big 12 as Missouri. We played Kansas every year at Arrowhead. So it was just a tough weekend all around for college
Starting point is 00:30:01 football. And I just broke my heart. It broke my heart. And so that's where we were at in college football. That's all I'm going to say. And the words of Forrest Gump, that's all I'm going to say about that. It's hockey season, and you can get anything you need delivered with Uber Eats. Well, almost almost anything. So no,

Starting point is 00:33:21 Well, let's begin with Rita Carey, Rita Carey, sister of Jim Carrey has passed away at the age of 68. does not say what the cause of death was, but it was announced from her husband Alex that she passed away a few days ago. And they just got married like a year ago. They've been together for a long time, but they just got married in 2023. Maybe they knew that she was sick.
Starting point is 00:33:49 I mean, I'm just guessing, because they were together for like 16 some years without being married. And then maybe they realized in July of 2023 that she was going to not last very much longer. So they got married. I don't. know that. I don't know that. I'm just
Starting point is 00:34:03 guessing. So Rita Carey, a sister of Jim Carey, passed away at the age of 68. Rest in Peace. Then we have Bella Caroli. Belli Caroli, the gymnastics coach.
Starting point is 00:34:19 I mean, he was awesome. He created legends. He passed away at the age of 82. No cause of death was given for Bella either. Huh. Interesting. But rest in peace to Bella I mean, they trained, you know, Nadia Komenich and Mary Lou Retton, and they had defected to the United States from Romania. And he was a monster in creating these gymnasts. And it was a force in gymnastics.
Starting point is 00:34:49 And that's what got him in trouble, right? He was pushed out after the 2000 Olympics because athletes, he's too hard. He's too hard on pushing his athletes too far physically and mentally. It's too hard. And so they pushed him out. And then during, remember Larry Nassar from Michigan State and the Olympics? So the USA Gymnastics team doctor who was given a life sentence and pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting gymnast. I mean, he was just a nightmare.
Starting point is 00:35:18 But they tried to get the Corolli's in on this as well by saying that he was part of a system that created an oppressive culture that allowed Nassar's behavior to run unchecked for years. so really didn't have anything to do with him. They just tried to lump him into the Nassar thing. But rest in peace, Bella Caroli, dead at the age of 82. Then we have Vladimir S-K-L-Y-A-R-O-V. S-K-L-Y-A-R-V. I'm sure I pretty much nailed that.
Starting point is 00:35:49 The acclaimed Russian ballet star is dead at the age of 39. Now, they did give a cause of death for Vladimir Skylarov. He fell out of a building. Wait, what? Yeah, he fell out of a building. Did he say something bad against Vladimir Putin? Because he fell from the fifth floor of a building.
Starting point is 00:36:13 And sorry about that. Now, they tried to blame it on painkillers prior to spinal surgery, which was scheduled for today. If you're listening live, today is the 18th of November, 2024. It says here he was scheduled for surgery, and he was on painkillers. And that had him fall off of a fifth-story balcony? Okay.
Starting point is 00:36:35 All right, sure. Sure. I mean, I didn't want the man to die. And he was, you know, awesome at the ballet. But he had to have been thinking about something fishy against Putin. And so you don't be doing that in Russia. So rest in peace. To Vladimir, S-H-K-L-Y-A-R-V.
Starting point is 00:36:58 Rest in peace, dead at the age. of 39. Then one more. We want to say rest in peace to Japan's oldest royal princess Yoriko, dead at the age of 101. She was the oldest living member, well, until she died. You can quote me on that. Japan's imperial family and wife of wartime Emperor Harito brothers, right, Hirohito's, Hero Hito, I got to put it, Emperor Hirohito. She was wife to his brother. Prince Macasa. She died after a recent decline in health following a stroke and pneumonia
Starting point is 00:37:36 and her passing reduces the imperial family to 16 members highlighting ongoing concerns about succession due to a 1947 Imperial House law restricting the throne to male heirs. They may revisit that in the close future or they may just say,
Starting point is 00:37:53 nope, don't worry about it. Oh, you don't have anybody to take the place of the emperous? Sorry, we're done. So rest in peace. to Japan's former oldest royal princess Eureko
Starting point is 00:38:07 dead at the age of 101. Boarding for flight 246 to Toronto is delayed 50 minutes. Ugh, what? Sounds like Ojo time. Play Ojo, great idea. Feel the fun with all the latest slots

From our not dead yet pile, a Spirit Airlines, Spirit Airlines has filed for bankruptcy protection and will attempt to reboot as it struggles to recover from the pandemic caused swooned and travel. Wait, what? I thought we were way past the pandemic. Apparently not. Spirit, according to this, is the biggest U.S. budget airline.
Starting point is 00:39:18 Okay. And they face looming debt payments totaling more than a billion dollars over the next year. So it expects to operate as normal as it works its way through prearranged Chapter 11 bankruptcy processes and that customers can continue to book and fly without interruption. Uh-huh. Okay. So they're not dead yet. They are not dead yet.
Starting point is 00:39:44 we have advanced auto parts, advanced auto parts, shutting 500 stores, cutting jobs, and some of their distribution centers. Wow. They claim that their industry, the automotive industry,
Starting point is 00:40:00 has had a difficult second half of the year, burdened by inflationary headwinds, and stiff competition from Chinese automakers, putting out affordable yet feature-packed vehicles. Oh, okay. Well, I would say that, that perhaps less and less people are fixing their cars, and the ones that are fixing their cars
Starting point is 00:40:19 aren't buying their products from advanced auto parts. A lot of reports were saying that the Advanced Auto Parts website was terrible, and that prices that advanced auto parts were at an unreasonably high price point, so you could get the same product online or at a different place for less money. But we'll see what happens with Advanced Auto Parts. just know that they are preparing to close 500 stores. And it said into their distribution center, four distribution centers by the middle of next year.
Starting point is 00:40:57 So be ready to see that. But again, not dead yet. And from, I mean, she's dead. She died back in 2021. Betty White while she did pass away, rest in peace. She is going to be on a stamp. according to the U.S. Postal Service. They announced that Betty White will be honored in 2025 with a stamp.
Starting point is 00:41:21 Okay, I guess. You know, the whole stamp thing, I'm not in charge. I always wanted to be in charge. I always want to be the postal inspector or be on the board of governors of the United States Postal Service. And I'm willing to do that still. I think maybe one of the things I would look at to save some money is creating these commemorative stamps. and maybe we just make the stamps cheaper so for people to mail.
Starting point is 00:41:48 You know what? You don't get to use the Betty White stamp, but if you use this stamp, it's a little bit cheaper. I don't know, I guess. They have this idea that the stamp program demonstrates our commitment to providing a diverse range of subjects and designs for both stamp enthusiasts and philatistis.
Starting point is 00:42:10 Philatelist, I got it. There's stamp. The stamp collectors, I guess it's just another term for stamp collectors. Fulatilis. Got it. Maybe we just take it easy on the old philatelis at the USPS and make it a little bit cheaper to mail stuff. But that's just me. And congratulations to Betty White, who will be on a stamp in 2025.
Starting point is 00:42:33 All right, let's get out of here. I'll leave you with the joke of the day. Little Johnny walked into class late one day and apologized to his teacher. You're not usually. late, Johnny. What is your excuse? Well, said Johnny, this little old woman lost $20 bill and I thought I needed to stay with her.
Starting point is 00:42:50 Oh, that's very nice of you to help her look for it. Oh, no. I didn't help her look. I couldn't move. My foot was on the 20 until she left. See, because he wanted to keep the... Yeah, you understand.
