Blaze Radio Network And now, chewing the fat with Jeff Fisher For those of you that have a hard time winding down at night, you're not able to put your phone down, you're continually scrolling through messages, replying to emails,
Starting point is 00:00:48 your TV is probably still on, and you just can't find a way to calm down and go to sleep. And you may even find yourself, you know, looking for a book to read. read, but that doesn't seem to help either. Well, I've got a way for you to fix this. Something I just found out about this morning, as a matter of fact, something that's called dark showering. I know, I know, and it's pretty much just like it sounds, taking a shower in the dark, removing all or most light sources, but it's not just about turning the lights off.
Starting point is 00:01:30 Oh, no. It can act as a form of sensory deprivation. By taking away such distractions as overhead lights, phones, and excess sounds, showering becomes a time to be mindful and to fully concentrate on you, your body, and the sensations you are experiencing. So it's going to help you tap into something profound. I'm sure of it. I want it to work, and I want it to work for you, I want it to work for me, I want it to work for everyone.
Starting point is 00:02:06 For anyone who's struggling with any kind of unwillingness to wind down in the evening, then this may fix it for you. So go ahead and give it a shot and go ahead and take a shower in the dark. Be careful, though. I don't want anybody slipping or falling and not reaching the soap. Just be careful. But go ahead and take care of yourself with dark showering. Welcome.
Starting point is 00:02:35 Welcome to Chewing the Fat. For those of you that think we live in, you know, a fascistic country, a communist country. We have dictatorship leaders and communist leaders and fascist leaders and fascist leaders and Nazi leaders. I just want to remind you that of a UN report, that talks about how the North Korean government is increasingly implementing the death penalty. Huh, including for people caught watching and sharing foreign films and TV dramas. Okay.
Starting point is 00:03:16 So, North Korea is a dictatorship, which remains largely cut off from the world. It's also subjecting its people to more forced labor while further restricting their freedoms. Yeah, it does not sound like the United States of America. the UN Human Rights Office, and I know I'm not a fan of the United Nations, but they have reported in the past decade that North Korean state had tightened control over all aspects of citizens' lives. No other population is under such restrictions in today's world.
Starting point is 00:03:49 It concluded that adding surveillance had become more pervasive, helped in part by advances in technology. So North Koreans' are subjected to more suffering, brutal repression, and fear that they have endured for a long, long time. The report, which is based on more than 300 interviews with people who escaped from North Korea in the past 10 years. They said that the death penalty is being used more often. So they're having trials. Yeah, one of the 300 people said three of her friends were executed after being caught with South Korean content,
Starting point is 00:04:31 she was at the trial of one of the 23-year-old friends who was sentenced to death. So there was a trial. Hello. They're giving them trials. Wow. One crime which can now be punished by death is the watching and sharing of foreign media content,
Starting point is 00:04:49 such as films and TV dramas, as Kim Jong-un works to successfully limit people's access to information. So just remember, When you hear how bad the United States is and what a terrible place it is. But I'm one to remind that we are, it certainly appears that we are creating a great divide, especially since the assassination of Charlie Kirk. That has exposed how wide the divide is in this country between what appears to be people who want to talk and have dialogue and create a loving.
Starting point is 00:05:28 relationship with other people and the people who don't care and just want you dead. We're still, we are still not North Korea. You know, speaking of Charlie Kirk, I guess we're having the public memorial service for Charlie this coming Sunday, September 21st, 19, or 2025. That's according to Turning Point USA.
Starting point is 00:05:56 say. So we're going to have it at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. That's where the Arizona Cardinals play. So they're opening up that full stadium. Wow. Join us in celebrating the remarkable life and enduring legacy of Charlie Kirk, an American legend. And so they're going to open up the stadium at 8 a.m. on Sunday. And they're going to have the services or. the memorial begin at 11 a.m. The program begins at 11 a.m. Okay. So no mention of when his, when he will be buried. I don't know if they're keeping that private. It certainly couldn't be that he's going to be buried after that, right? After next Sunday, he's got to be, there's got to be a private service for him sometime this week.
Starting point is 00:06:56 right doesn't there i don't know i don't know we're just going to keep him around until after next week i mean we saw her hugging the coffin and seeing her husband in the coffin i mean which was you know just terrible for anyone who's been to you know funeral or funerals uh with open caskets i mean it's a it's a tough time and uh so we can't just we can't just have him laying there and I guess we could have him laying in state somewhere, right? I don't know that that's happening. I don't know that he's going to be lying in state
Starting point is 00:07:35 at Memorial Stadium or at the memorial at the stadium, but it's possible, I guess, because it doesn't say, I got to find that out. We'll look that up here, aren't you, in the fact? Because we're going to find out that can't be. Can it? I mean, so many stories are talking about the memorial as it be. the funeral.
Starting point is 00:07:58 I mean, so the Sunday Memorial at the stadium, I guess is being considered the funeral as well. And that means everyone will be there. I mean, the stadium holds, what, 60, 70,000 people? And, okay.
Starting point is 00:08:13 And I guess if you want to go and be a part of it, you have to, you have to register, which is only a good thing. It's, you have to require a name, email, cell phone,
Starting point is 00:08:26 and Z. zip code. Okay. So hopefully there's a way to match up when you go to get in the doors, which will create a huge bottleneck, uh, if that's the case. Um, or maybe you just have to, if you, if we want to know, you have to give us your information and once you're in the stadium. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:08:44 And I mean, there's going to be all kinds of people. You don't talk about a security nightmare. That's going to be a security nightmare. So we'll see. Uh, I guess hopefully we'll get more information as, uh, as the week goes on. But the memorial service can't be the funeral. Can it?
Starting point is 00:09:02 It's the same thing, Jeff. I don't know. I feel like it's different. We're celebrating his life at the memorial service. The funeral is saying goodbye to our loved ones. And that's, ooh, I mean, they can't have that same day. Can they?
Starting point is 00:09:20 Jeff, they could do whatever they want. Okay, sure. No problem. You got it. I know J.D. Vance is filling in for him on his show that his wife said was going to continue on. He's doing that today from the White House was the report. I don't know who's doing the rest of the week.
Starting point is 00:09:36 I think Glenn Beck is doing at least one day of Charlie Kirk's show this week. Maybe it's somebody different every day. I'm not really sure. But, you know, you can, I'm sure his show is on Rumble. So you can, you know, pick it up on Rumble and listen to it there. And I'm sure there'll be clips of whoever is co-hosting or hosting the show. for now. So that's happening.
Starting point is 00:10:01 But I do. I want to know the difference if we're counting the memorial and the funeral. Because the funeral's got to be just private, right? Just a few close friends and family members. And then the memorial is where everybody shows up, celebrate his life. That will be Sunday. Yeah, you get it. I'll let it go.
Starting point is 00:10:22 It's just really bugging me right now. This episode is brought to you by Pelham. A new era of fitness is here. Starting point is 00:11:19 If you are thinking about moving, let me recommend real estate agentsitrust.com. Moving is hard enough without having to guess whether your real estate agent actually knows what they're doing. Are they experienced it all? Do they know the local housing market? Will they return your calls? Will they fight for your best interests or just push for the quickest commission? Glenn Beck has asked all those questions and the hard way. After going through move after move throughout his career, he ran into agents who didn't communicate,
Starting point is 00:11:54 didn't negotiate, and frankly, didn't care. So he did something about it. He built a network of top performing agents across the country. Real estate agents, I trust.com. People who actually earn your trust by delivering real results time after time. These are full-time professionals with a proven track record of excellence and integrity. They know how to price a home, how to time a sale. properly, how to navigate tough markets, how to make a stressful process feel manageable,
Starting point is 00:12:24 how to do what you're supposed to do, which is sell high, buy, low, instead of just the opposite of what I've done in the past. Real Estateagents, I trust.com. It's a free service. Take the gamble out of buying or selling a home. It's not about the hype. It's about results and finding the right person to walk through it with you. Start to finish. Go to real estate agents I trust. trust.com. Real estate agents I trust.com. Well, this is just a reminder of another world record I will never hold. I was sent this from R.C.J. And he reminded me, hey, here's a world record you don't hold. Yeah, I don't hold it. And I probably never will. This Gabriel Wall set Guinness World Record for the fastest 100 meters on Legos. 24.75 seconds for 100 meters running on the Legos. There were a couple times through that 100 meters, man. She did not look comfortable.
Starting point is 00:13:35 So I feel like she might have been able to do it faster. She needed to, you know, it's all about the mental. When you're just like running through fire, hot coals, it's all about the mental. And running on Legos is all about the mental. until you get one jammed into the bottom of your foot. Yeah, I'm not doing that. Hey, congratulations to Gabriel Wall.
Starting point is 00:13:59 Man, you are, who, fantastic. I'm happy that you have that world record, but I am not doing that. Wow, this is really surprising. The top movies of the weekend. And I don't know if you went to the theater or not. I have college football and NFL football to watch, along with the whole slew of shows that I need to be caught up on, which I am not, by the way.
Starting point is 00:14:24 But the number one movie in the country this weekend, I thought for sure that it was going to be the long walk, the Stephen King adaptation. And I saw the promos. I mean, it looks like a worthy endeavor. Although Stephen King made it quite bad on the way, how he reacted to the death of Charlie Kirk. He's done an apology. and then I saw him post a promo for this movie, which I'm sure his thoughts didn't help.
Starting point is 00:14:53 But it's about, and it's, you know, he was walking like the people do in the long walk. He did not look well. Just a side note for me. Anyway, it's fourth place for the long walk. Wow. I mean, I want to see it. I don't necessarily have to see it at the theater. That's a movie I can wait for to come to my home in a form of,
Starting point is 00:15:14 whatever streaming app has it, then I will click on it and watch it. I don't necessarily want to give the money directly to Stephen King from the movie theater. I'll feel better about myself if I give it to the app company and then the app company can, you know, divide it on any way they see fit.
Starting point is 00:15:34 But the number one movie in the country, Demon Slayer, Infinity Castle, an anime trilogy series, starter. Wow. 70 million domestic open. It's got 386 million global debut. Demon Slayer Infinity Castle. Wow. I mean, it has shattered records, marking the best opening ever for an anime title, beating Pokemon's 31 million record at 1999. Oh yeah, that was nothing. The best ever for Crunchyroll, Sony's biggest opening in two years, and the sixth biggest biggest, September opening of all time demon slayer, Infinity Castle.
Starting point is 00:16:20 Wow. And number two is The Conjuring, last rights. That's in its second week. It dropped 69% to 26.1 million. It's got 131 million domestic, 332 million global. It's pretty good. $55 million budgeted horror sequel? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:43 That's pretty darn. good. And it's really close to beating the, you know, the conjuring, the original total. So, yeah, it's doing pretty good. Number three, Downton Abbey, the grand finale. What is happening at the theater? 18 million domestic open, 30 million global for Downton Abbey. Okay. Then the Long Walk comes in at number four. Then Toy Story 30th anniversary with 3.5, million domestic for the re-release of the Pixar classic.
Starting point is 00:17:19 I mean, they've already got, what, 370, 400 million domestically for that movie. Then weapons for the sixth week, that is 147 million domestic. Hamilton, week two, of their release at the theaters, made another 2.2 million. That's down 78%. Yeah, that's 15 million domestic. I mean, the crowd came out last week to see Hamilton. And it'll be going down because it just wasn't released at the theater is why they put it out there. Freakier Friday, Week 6, another $2,91.1 million domestic.
Starting point is 00:17:55 It's got 146 million global. Spinal Tap 2. The end continues. Wow, that's like, that's got to be new, right? That's brand, yeah, that's brand new. Week 1.1.7 million domestic opening. Holy, that's terrible. $22.6 million budget.
Starting point is 00:18:12 I know it's got cult status. spinal tap two but i saw that commercials with the the spinal tap two crowd and they all look ancient and perhaps uh the mockumentary could have done better and it certainly seems that way as they came in ninth and then the intent another re-release said the sound of music the 60th anniversary of the sound of music 1.5 million domestic on the re-release they're just releasing these movies hoping to make some money, and they do. You want to make a quick million? Yeah, let's just release a movie we've had in the closet for a long time.
Starting point is 00:18:50 Okay? Yeah, let's do that. Go ahead. All right, congratulations to Demon Slayer, Infinity Castle. I'm being number one. The anime trilogy starter. Both dubbed and a subtitle versions were available at the theaters. So congratulations.

Starting point is 00:22:24 gets you $20 off on annual subscription right now. BlazTV.com slash Jeffie. Okay, so we had the Emmys last night and I did not watch them. I apologize. I should have. Then I wouldn't have,
Starting point is 00:22:38 I wouldn't have missed Stephen Colbert getting a standing ovation and him mourning his late show canceled. again. That's all the guy ever does. And his show won, actually, for the best late night show. But he came out as a presenter and got a standing ovation. And it was so funny. He came out and he said, hey, anyone hiring? Oh, oh, he kills me. And he talked about the 200 people again that works on his god-awful show.
Starting point is 00:23:14 200 people. Just incredible. He says, is anyone hiring? Because I've got 200 very well-qualified candidates with me here tonight who will be available in June. Oh, then he held a little picture of himself
Starting point is 00:23:32 and said he had to update his headshot. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. Oh, that's funny. It's funny. And so I missed that. And then I missed Hannah and Binder. She won for hacks, which, you know, congratulations. And I love the show.
Starting point is 00:23:52 It's funny. She does a great job in it. But she couldn't let the acceptance beach go before she said, go birds, which, you know, okay, fine. She's a Philadelphia Eagle fan. But F. Ice and Free Palestine. Yeah, I got to go now. I mean, we had to get that in.
Starting point is 00:24:09 That's great. Yeah. F, Ice and Free Palestine. Thanks, Hannah. Just make it worse for me to watch you now. I wish that just wasn't the case. So the best outstanding drama series was The Pit. Yeah, the Pitt one.
Starting point is 00:24:26 That was on HBO Max. Congratulations. You know, I was looking at the shows and what networks they were on. I believe that, let's see, what do we got here? HBO Netflix and Apple TV Plus won out and the regular networks I think just got the late night recognition. That was it. So the Pitt
Starting point is 00:24:50 excellent show on HBO or HBO Max with Noah Wiley who by the way won as lead actor in a drama series from the pit. Congratulations. The studio won best comedy series. That's surprising because I haven't made it all the way through the studio. I started watching that, and it's just okay. Is it as good as hacks or The Bear, which I can't believe is under comedy, only murders in the building, shrinking?
Starting point is 00:25:22 I mean, those are, and everybody loves that stupid habit of elementary, which I don't really understand, but they do. But anyway, congratulations to the studio. Limited or anthology series went to adolescence when that was Netflix. Outstanding Talk Series was the network, Stephen Gobert, of course, they're going to give it to him, duh. The limited anthology series or movie lead actor went to Stephen Graham for adolescence. He was, I believe, the youngest winner of an Emmy so far. And he was up against, you know, Colin Farrell, Jake Ghillon Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Cooper C.
Starting point is 00:25:59 Coke, right? Is it Coke? I think he pronounced it, K-O-C-H, maybe not. I don't know what Cooper, how Cooper pronounces his last name. And then Kristen Malati won in The Penguin. She was awesome in that. The Traders won the reality competition. They love that show because he's just so flamboyant in that stupid show,
Starting point is 00:26:24 the host of Traders. Britt Lower won for lead actress in a drama series Severance. Severance was okay. Dean Smart won again for hacks, Congratulations. Yeah, she's fantastic in that show. Seth Rogen won for Studio. So there you go. There's your Emmys. Congratulations to all the winners.
Starting point is 00:26:42 Especially those of you that want to say, go birds and F-I's. Am I right? Yeah, it was with me. Yeah, sorry, Hannah. You shouldn't have done that. And darn the luck. I don't know if anybody's actually hiring Stephen. So, you know, sorry.
Starting point is 00:27:13 With Amex Platinum, $400 in annual credits for travel and dining, means you not only satisfy your travel bug, but your taste buds too. That's the powerful backing of Amex. Conditions apply. Who died today? Who died today? Well, let's begin with Tiana,
Starting point is 00:27:35 Managahiki. How do I pronounce? My girl has got the day off again, too, which is very disappointing. Manaka here. Manaka. M-A-N-G-A-H-I-A has passed away at the age of 30. So the sporting world is mourning the late former Syracuse basketball star.
Starting point is 00:28:00 She died with losing her second battle to cancer at age 30. Huh. So her second battle took cancer at age 30. Wonder what could have brought that on. Huh. Anyway, rest in peace to Tiana Manacahia. Manacahia. Yeah, that's how you pronounce it.
Starting point is 00:28:35 Dead at the age of 30. Then we have Wade Phillips, Wade Phillips, who was the former coach here in Dallas, Texas, and he's been around football forever. as a coordinator, head coaching. He coached a lot, and he has coached San Antonio Brahma's. I think he still is the head coach
Starting point is 00:29:01 of the San Antonio Brahmers, but he wanted to point out that he's not dead. So there were reports that Harold Wade Phillips, born June 21st, 1947, who was now 78 years of age, had passed away. And there were eulogies and posts being everywhere,
Starting point is 00:29:24 and Wade posted on X like, Hey, I'm not dead. It's a cruel joke, okay? So just know, Wade Phillips is still alive at the age of 78. Someone that did die is actress Polly Holiday. We mentioned her on Saturday morning live because she died rumors or at least reports of her death happened
Starting point is 00:29:52 late Friday. She has passed away at the age of 88. And if you're asking yourself, Polly, Holiday. Yeah, she's, oh yeah, that girl. Oh, yeah, that lady. She is one of those. She is the last surviving original cast member of the 1970s sitcom Alice.
Starting point is 00:30:11 So she passed away at her home in New York City. And after several years of health, issues and very sad and they say that the cause of death is a result of pneumonia but she was I guess suffering with several health issues so the pneumonia just put it over the edge. So rest in peace to Polly Holiday. Oh yeah, her dead at the age of 88. And we have a story that I found fascinating in Vinaynachium, Serbia. scenes of gladiators battling wild beasts
Starting point is 00:30:47 before packed crowds in Roman arenas are common in today's popular culture but they found some places here in Venachium, Serbia where they were actually fighting brown bears. So, I mean, it actually happened. There was direct evidence of gladiator fights against these brown bears. Wow. Okay.
Starting point is 00:31:11 So apparently, the animal bone was originally on Earth in 2016 during evacuation, excavations, say the word rise not evacuations, it's excavations, of a building adjacent to Venachium's amphitheater, but it was only recently subjected to microscopic analysis, x-rays, and DNA sequencing. The team determined that the beast was of local Balkan origin and around six years old when it died 1700 years ago.
Starting point is 00:31:41 Its frontal bones showed evidence of blunt force trauma, likely inflicted by a vanator, a skilled gladiator who fought against carnivorous animals. The bear did not die immediately from the blow, but from a subsequent infection. Excessive and abnormal wear on the beast canines hinted that it must have often nervously chewed the bars of his cage. Yeah, of course. And according to the report, this likely indicates that the bear was a combatant in many contests throughout its life and was probably one of Vanakum's main attractions. So it actually did happen.
Starting point is 00:32:20 Gladiators were fighting giant animals like the brown bear or maybe only the brown bear since that's all we have proof of right now. And for those of you worried about AI chatbots, we know that the Federal Trade Commission is demanding information from OpenAI Matters. Alphabet, Snap, XAI, and more tech
Starting point is 00:32:44 companies about how kids interact with their AI chatbots and what safety measures are in place to protect them.
Starting point is 00:32:52 AI companion tools are the subjects of several high-profile lawsuits against companies like OpenAI
Starting point is 00:32:57 and Character AI for allegedly bearing responsibility for children's suicides. Open AI and others have
Starting point is 00:33:06 announced plans for additional chatbot safety features including parental control. Are they responsible, though, for someone committing suicide? We'll see.
Starting point is 00:33:19 In today's world, I'm sure the courts will decide that the answer to that is yes. But are they? Are they? Okay. If you say so. It's hockey season, and you can get anything you need delivered with Uber Eats. Well, almost, almost anything. So no, you can't get a nice rank.
Starting point is 00:33:56 on Uber Eats. But iced tea, ice cream, or just plain old ice? Yes, we deliver those. Goaltenders, no. But chicken tenders, yes. Starting point is 00:34:12 For alcohol, you must be legal drinking age. Please enjoy responsibly. Product availability varies by region. See app for details. So I was reading a story this weekend about a family that controls the cheese that goes on pizzas. Yeah, big cheese. So four pizza giants, Domino's, Papa John's, Pizza Hut, and Little Caesars, all buy from the same cheese supplier.
Starting point is 00:34:37 This James Leprino controls one billion pounds annually. And he's the invisible empire that nobody talks about. That is incredible. We've seen the commercials that they're fighting over. People want customers. but James Loprino supplies cheese to all of them, and nobody talks about his monopoly. Yeah, a big cheese.
Starting point is 00:35:02 So at 1958, James Loprino started with one small cheese shop in Denver, Colorado. He made fresh mozzarella daily for local Italian restaurants. His revenue was about $500 a week, and he had himself as an employee. Fresh mozzarella spoiled quickly. Shipping was a nightmare for these pizza chains. Quality varied widely between batches. Most suppliers couldn't scale. Chains were desperate for solutions.
Starting point is 00:35:31 In 1973, Leprino made a bold decision. He would freeze dry mozzarella. He would freeze dry it. Everyone said it was impossible. Frozen cheese never tasted right. But Loprino spent three years perfecting the process. The breakthrough came accidentally. The Prino discovered that flash freezing at exactly minus 40 degrees
Starting point is 00:35:52 preserved the cheese structure. Suddenly, mozzarella could be shipped anywhere and last months. Pizza Hut became the first major customer in 1976. They ordered a million pounds of frozen mozzarella. Other suppliers couldn't match Loprinos consistency or scale. Domino's came knocking in 1984. Papa John's came knocking in 1991.
Starting point is 00:36:16 Little Caesar said, why not we're in in 1995? And each thought they had an exclusive supply. None knew about the others. The Loprino never competed for the contracts. The pizza change approached him. His reputation spread through the industry by word of mouth has become the default choice without any marketing.
Starting point is 00:36:40 By 2000, something unexpected to happen. Leprino Foods controlled 35% of all mozzarella in America. Revenue hit $2 billion a year. Yet most consumers never heard of the Leprino name. The consulcunters were massive. Pizza Wars became meaningless. Same cheese, different marketing. Leprino profited from every sale.
Starting point is 00:37:06 Competitors couldn't break in. The scale barrier was too high. Today, Leprino Foods ships one billion pounds of cheese yearly. James Leprino now 84 is worth $3 billion. His company remains private and rarely speaks to them. media. There's no point because every time you order a pizza, you're funding the same empire. Wow, I did not know that. That is fantastic. Man, if you always want to be Pizza Hut, Little Caesars, Dominoes, Papa John's, you always want to be them, and you want to fight to be number one.
Starting point is 00:37:43 And James is just using them all with his same mozzarella. That's amazing. Wow, big, big, cheese, man, big mozzarella. Something's got to be done. Why isn't something being done? Why? Why is Leprino yet to roam free on this planet ruling the mozzarella? I don't know. I don't know the answer
Starting point is 00:38:06 to that, except the pizza companies want his mozzarella, so they continue to pay him. And that's the way it goes. Since 1984. Really incredible. Just a fascinating story to me. All right, let's get out of here. leave you with the joke of the day today from Scott.
Starting point is 00:38:25 The joke of the day today. Yeah. From Scott. And he says, I didn't write it, but I did modify it. He thinks he's funny is what he does. And we may judge it at the end. I don't know, but we'll read you the joke anyway. He sent it to Chewing the Fat at theblaze.com.
Starting point is 00:38:43 I mean, I'd much rather talk about football. Can we talk about football at some point? We didn't talk about any football today on Pat Gray-unleashed at all. I want to talk about it. I mean, the top 25 is. The new AP poll, Missouri is 23rd. BYU and Nebraska, the Pack Gray and Keith Malinac's teams are not in the top 25.
Starting point is 00:39:01 They are in the others receiving votes. And we've got Nebraska has Michigan coming into Lincoln on Saturday. Who, man, that would be a worthy game to watch. Missouri, we have South Carolina coming into town. Now, they lost and dropped out of the top 25 this week, but they're still a great team. and a strong team is another SEC rival for Missouri. So we've got to be ready to play them in Columbia.
Starting point is 00:39:30 And to BYU, I forget who they play. Who the heck does BYU play? Oh, they play East Carolina Pirates. Yeah, they're whatever. They'll win that hands down. So, I mean, we can go dive deep into college football or I just do the joke of the day. Joke of the day?
Starting point is 00:39:45 All right, fine. Again, from Scott. I didn't write it, but I did modify it. A couple of Texans were going to fly. in we're going on a fly in moose hunt. Let's call them Pat and Jeffie. See what he did. He modified it.
Starting point is 00:40:01 That's what he said. So the two hunters are Pat and Jeffie. When they landed, the pilot told them he would be back in a few days and reminded them that he could only fly out one moose. Well, they promptly shot two because, hey, that's what we would do. And when the pilot returned, he refused to take both moose. Is it a moose or moose is? Anyway, they told him the pilot last year did not,
Starting point is 00:40:27 when they told him the pilot last year did, and that still didn't sway this year's pilot. And they offered him an extra $1,000 and a dozen kexie cookies. He agreed. So they loaded the plane and they took off unable to clear the trees. They crashed. And there they are. And they crashed airplane.
Starting point is 00:40:46 And Jeffie looks over to Pat and says, well, at least we made it farther this year. So stupid, and a long way to get to the well is right, Scott. But, well, you know, I mean, you got it, right? I mean, they paid for the extra moose or mooses. They got farther than they did last year. See, because last year, you got it, you got it.
