You're listening to the Jeff Fisher Show.
Jay Severin.
I'll tell you what I think about, despite my history with Mitt Romney, despite what I think of him and everything else,
I will tell you honestly with my heart and soul what I think about what he did this morning
in calling a national press conference to attack Trump.
Jay Severin.
Weekdays 3 to 5 p.m. Eastern on the Blaze Radio Network.
If I sound a little bit different, it's just because I'm talking to you.
I wanted to talk to you so bad, so bad today.
That even with technical issues between Mercury Studios in Dallas and New York City,
yes, I used the miracle of a regular hardline phone.
It still works.
amazing, I know. I could have used cell phone technology. It's possible, but no. Why would I do that
when I could just talk to you on a hardline phone? Right? Right. Now, so if it sounds a little bit
different, sorry, welcome to the Blaze Radio Network. We'll try to get it figured out for you,
but I didn't want to miss the show just because we were having some, you know, some kind of
bougie little technical difficulty between Dallas and New York.
You don't care, right?
And if you do, tough, okay, tough.
Welcome to it.
The Blaze Radio Network.
888-90-033-93 is the phone number.
That technology hopefully will still work.
We've got so much going on today.
CPAC going on, Michael Pelcom, Glenn Beck,
all on the Blaze Radio Network live.
I don't think you're not going to be able to live on a Blaze Radio Network,
but you will be able to see the speech later on this afternoon.
I started looking at thinking about the show, you know,
I mean, I kind of think about, you know, the things that you would like during the week,
and then last night I'm kind of putting things together,
and I thought, you know, and then I get onto this story.
And I just want to welcome you to the mind.
of me. Let's call this the mind of me. So I find this story, you know, 19 things that make you
feel like a dinosaur. Yes, I'm hooked. All right, you got me. I want to see what those 19
things are. And usually by the time I get to, you know, five, I've had enough of clicking
to the next page because they're just, it's all about page clicks for these websites. So,
I, you know, I move on. But here I am. The 19 things that are in the dinosaur.
and I want to introduce you to my mind and how it works because I'm on one and it says
Motorola Razors were popular over 10 years ago.
Okay, you got me.
I love those Motorola Razor phones.
So number two, I click, I move on.
You've already got me.
And it talks about the first Zoolander movie.
The first Zoolander came out 14 years ago.
What?
And, of course, this website now is,
is, you know, saying, you know, they must be love Ben Stiller,
because they're talking about Tropic Thunder is seven years old.
And then they tell you that Ben Stiller is 51 years old this year.
Don't forget, these are 19 things that are supposed to make me feel like a dinosaur, right?
All right, so Ben Stiller, 51, you got me.
Then they have a picture of Britney Spears with their head shaved,
and it talks about Britney's meltdown nine years ago,
nine years ago for the Brittany meltdown.
Amazing.
She's actually turned that around big time.
So you've already got me.
I'm moving on.
Inside the mind of me.
Number six, kids starting high school this year were born in 2000 or 2001.
Wow.
That is amazing.
You got me.
I'm moving on.
All right.
And it talks about, you know, the girl that was featured on the book.
Blink 182 CD.
She's 43 now.
Their album,
Animal of the State, 17 years ago now.
Wow.
So then I think, you know, I see Enema of the State.
It makes me think, well, enemy of the state.
One of my favorite movies.
I mean, how old is that?
So I looked that up 18 years ago.
It was enemy of the estate.
All right.
So I'm back to the list.
I've moved from the IMDB page of enemy of the state back to the list.
And they tell me that all the Blink 182 artists in the band are in their 40s now.
All right, whatever.
So I click on to 10.
You're still got me.
It says the years, number 10, the years, 1966 to 1991 are just as far apart as 1991 in 2016.
I mean,
and then it asked me, remember Stephanie Tanner?
Well, of course I remember Stephanie Tanner
simply because I was forced not long ago to watch
the opening episode on Netflix Fuller House, right?
And she was the little girl on the original Fuller House.
And my wife was a big fan, so, of course, I was forced to watch the Fuller House.
It was just a tremendous episode in Netflix did a great job.
but she is now 34 and a recovering drug addict.
But, you know, her character is still, you know, whatever it is on Fuller House.
All right, so you got.
Number 12.
I'm still with you.
I'm still on the list of the 19 things that are going to make me feel like a dinosaur.
I haven't really felt like a dinosaur yet.
I've just felt like, yeah, I remember that.
The little girl from aliens is now 39 years old.
Still got me.
I'm still clicking.
Still clicking.
Number 13.
Remember when everyone was obsessed with Boxy?
And I'm talking, okay, now I'm thinking, Boxy, Boxy was I ever obsessed with Boxy, Boxy?
And so, you know, I go look up Boxing.
Oh, yeah, that's right.
Well, she now, you know, the Internet, a little celebrity, well, she's on the Discovery Channel now,
doing a show of Discovery Channel.
Amazing, right?
Good for her.
I'm still clicking.
I'm still there.
You got me, 19, and I've made it through 13.
And I've only taken a couple of side trips, right?
Inside the mind of me.
I've only taken a couple of side trips.
Number 14.
If Bart Simpson had aged like a real person, he would be 36 years old.
Okay.
Okay.
I don't feel like a dinosaur.
Just I'm still like, wow.
Okay.
He's got me.
So you already got me.
I'm still moving.
Number 15, I'm still clicking.
You're getting your page views.
EMGN.com, imagine.com.
Number 15, Green Day is being played on classic rock stations.
All right.
You still got me.
I'm not a dinosaur yet, though.
Not quite sure I feel like a dinosaur yet, but you still got me.
Then they have the cover of Playboy magazine from 1996,
Leslie Nielsen is on it.
Story about Bruce Willis,
story about Michael Jackson,
story about Courtney Love,
and to think that Playboy still had a magazine then,
right?
Because they just ended that.
We talked about that not long ago.
Pretty fascinating.
Number 17, you still got me.
I'm still clicking.
Because now I'm almost,
now I'm on the downside of the 19,
right?
I'm like, okay, well,
I mean, I've got to know all 19.
I have to.
17.
They bring up
squeeze it,
the fruit juice,
bottles that you ripped the little top off
and they were
they were called squeezing of course I remember those
I mean we bought them by the
ton for my
oldest son
when he was a you know
when he was a kid
although they were discontinued
okay
I'm almost close to feeling like a dinosaur
I've not there yet though
I've almost
it's possible that I could be there,
which gets me thinking about all the times that we use,
squeeze it, you know, it rocks me down memory lane
of when my oldest son was, you know, a little kid.
So you got me.
I've got a couple more left, right?
I'm going to have to do it, right?
So I hit 18.
This is where I went way off track.
This is where the train derailed.
The little pink-haired girl from Lazy Town.
Remember her?
25 years old.
And I think, wow, she's 25.
And I think the little girl from,
little pinkard girl from Lazytown,
I wonder what the heck she's doing now.
So I click on, you know,
Pinker Girl from Lazy Town.
And the first story that pops up is from October 2012.
And it says,
Stephanie from Lazytown,
arrested for prostitution.
I read the story.
I'm like, oh my gosh.
arrested for prostitution. Are you kidding me? That's amazing. I can't believe it. And then I
click back out of that story and August of 2013, almost a year later, it talks about an interview
with Juliana Rose Mariello, the Lazy Town Pink-Hare Girl, and who played Stephanie. And then
right below that is another story that says she died of an apparent
suicide overdose.
I'm like, are you kidding me?
So I click on the die.
She died of an overdose story.
Here it is.
She died of an overdose.
And then I thought, well, I wonder what she said in this interview in 2013.
So I go to the interview.
And the interview is fascinating with this glossy website,
glossy news.
And she is like,
Thanks for joining us.
Now let's just do the interview.
Please, I'm very uncomfortable.
When were you arrested for prostitution?
I've never been arrested for anything.
Not ever.
Where did you guys even get this story?
What about getting arrested for drugs?
No, not for anything.
I've never been arrested.
Now, remember, this interview took place before the story of her dying of a drug overdose.
and it goes on and on and on and she's denying and wondering what the heck this guy is talking about
or this girl who glossy news is talking to her.
And she talks about, I have an art film I'm working on right now.
It's not exactly for the younger crowd, but it's pretty rare, pretty raw and pretty amazing.
I probably shouldn't talk about it.
Glossy news, is it an adult film?
You'll have to wait for the premiere to find out.
So that almost seems like it is, right?
She says, so it's an adult film.
I already told you, I won't say.
What sorts of things will this adult film delve into?
Okay, we are done.
Now, then she says, I'm out.
Come on.
I don't even know what you mean.
I don't even know how to answer that on the record.
Would you like me to turn off the recorder?
You guys are so silly.
I think we're done here, right?
Go ahead and turn it off.
The tape ran out.
And then he asked,
If I had an eighth of Coke in my pocket, how would you change this interview?
So they're just beating up this, Juliana, the pink-haired girl from Lazytown, right?
So then, all right, so I'm like, wait a second.
This is amazing.
She didn't answer.
She didn't say anything.
I've got to find out what the deal was.
So I look it up.
Okay.
Here's the answer of Pink-haired Girl from Lazytown.
Best answer of her dying in an overdose.
She didn't.
The only news outlet that reported her arrest was this glossy news, and they made it up.
They changed Stephanie's actress because she was too old to play Stephanie, right?
She did it for two years, and then they brought in another girl for another two years.
So this girl who played Stephanie, Juliana Rose Marielo, she's still alive.
She's still alive living in New York.
She's got a daytime Emmy Award for a children's a preschool children's series
nominated, and that was for the Lazy Town stuff.
But she's working at a performing art school.
That's amazing.
This is his website made all this stuff up, but it got me into the mind of me.
Now I'm way off track, right?
I'm into the pink-haired girl from Lazy Town, way off track.
And I still haven't got to number 19.
And I'm thinking, do I dare go to 19?
Do I dare go to?
I mean, I have to, right?
Finally, I've got to go back.
I've got to get out of Pink-Eared Girl from Lazytown, Stephanie.
All the stories about her.
And they click on 19.
So they have a picture of, is it rumor, Willis, or Rummer?
Probably Rummer.
R-U-M-E-R-U-M-E-R-U-S-B-E-R-U-S, Bruce Willis' kid with Demi Moore.
Okay?
They have a picture of her and Jimmy Moore, side-by-side-by-side.
wearing the same clothes, they look almost exactly alike.
And I don't know if that's sad because Demi is way off the rails trying to look young.
And she's done a pretty good job of it.
I mean, she's 52, and her daughter is 26.
And I mean, they look strikingly the same.
And I'm just stuck on this picture.
Now I'm at 19.
And I'm trying to think, do I feel like a dinosaur or I just feel like you hooked me,
clicking all these stories?
And I had to find out that Stephanie from Lazytown died of a drug overdose.
And then I find out she didn't die on an overdose.
So you've made me sad.
And you've made me like, you guys actually are doing stories that you just make up?
Welcome to the internet, the new age.
Make sure you do your own homework.
That's been sent to me somewhere from somebody.
I don't know who that is.
This is the Jeff Fisher Show on the Blaze Radio Network.
I'm not personally invested in any politician.
These are just people that are given the authority to do a job, and hopefully they do the job well.
I'm not looking for somebody to be a savior.
I'm looking for someone to be sane.
I'm looking for someone to be competent to, if not make my life easier, at least stop making my life more difficult.
Buck Sexton, weekdays, noon to 3 p.m. Eastern on the Blaze Radio Network.
