Starting point is 00:01:04 You're listening to the Jeff Fisher Show. So what would you say if I said, oh, say, can you see? What would you say? Would you follow it up? Would you follow it up? Well, college students at the University of Maryland were asked about Colin Kaepernick, and then they were asked about the National Anthem. And the Colin Kaepernick is almost as bad as the national anthem, to be honest with you.
Starting point is 00:01:36 I mean, I don't know that I can take this whole clip because it's going to drive me. I listened to it yesterday, and it about blew a blood vessel out of my head. So I'm going to play it for you. It's from campus reform. They do a great job with these videos, which you're listening to audio-wise here on the Blaze Radio Network. They always do a great job. And I always feel like, well, okay, they put it together and, you know, they got the dumbest people. And so all the really smart ones, this is how I live with myself, all the really smart ones didn't, you know, that answered correctly or sang the right verse, they didn't put those in the clip.
Starting point is 00:02:20 So you're good. Okay, the clip that's the worst, that's because they just picked, they put that together. But all the really good ones, of course, they didn't use them. I mean, it wouldn't make the video or the audio any good, right? Right? So take a sip of coffee. Prepare your blood vessel, that main one that runs right through the middle of your forehead. If that explodes, I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:02:45 You were warned. I'm Cabot-Fell's the campus reform. This week, Colin Kaepernick sparked outrage when he refused to stand for the national anthem before last week's football game. Today we're at the University of Maryland asking students their opinions on this silent protest, as well as testing their knowledge of the Starspingle banner. I think what he did was, like, heroism. I think it's great. It's got a message, and that's exactly what I feel like this country needs.
Starting point is 00:03:12 I would think it's pretty heroic. I like that people that stand up for what they believe in. I understand why he resents the flag in the first place. You do? So I don't necessarily think it was heroic. I do think I was a form of protest. I feel like in a sense he is committing something that is heroic. I'm going to give a line for the National Anthem.
Starting point is 00:03:29 Okay, stop for the second. All right. Because if you didn't stop it, I was going to be the one to blow the blood vessel. I think he's really doing something heroic. Is he? Okay, go ahead. You're going to give the next line. We're going to work through it together, all right?
Starting point is 00:03:49 Oh, say, can you see? Oh, by the dawn's really lie. Oh, there you go. Lye, right? Light, light. Oh, say, can you see? I don't know. By the...
Starting point is 00:04:07 I don't know. Who's broad stripes and bright. stars What's so proudly We held As the flag Was still dreaming? I don't know
Starting point is 00:04:21 What's so proudly we held By the ballot Whose broad strides And bright stars Through the parallel Fight Or the ramparts we watched Oh boy
Starting point is 00:04:36 As the The Da da da da da Who's broad stripes and bright stars? Okay, yeah, no, I don't know this part. I really don't know this part. And the home of the... I know the tune, but, like, I don't know the words.
Starting point is 00:04:54 Maybe we'll have a national anthem course to enroll in next semester at Maryland, right? For sure. For sure. You know, like... And the home of the... I've got to clap now because the game's going to start. Braves. I...
Starting point is 00:05:17 Seriously. I'm at a loss again. I about, it's unbelievable to me. Please. Please, campus reform. Tweet me, call me, email me. Let me know. You took the worst ones and made the video so that all the really good ones.
Starting point is 00:05:39 And we had, you know, hundreds of students that got it right. Hundreds of students that said Colin Camperdick is not a hero. We had hundreds of students tell us that But these few that you see in the video Those were the only ones Those were the only ones And so we just put those together Because it's funny
Starting point is 00:06:03 And we wanted to have people think That they were going to blow a blood vessel But that's it That was it Because the rest of it Everybody Everybody knew the words Didn't think Colin was a hero
