You're listening to the Jeff Fisher Show.
Welcome to Talking Walking Dead.
Oh, yeah.
I could not wait to get with you today.
Man was last night exciting.
Wasn't it?
I'm not kidding you.
It was exciting.
Jeff Fisher here, along with Aaron Hernandez, our Walking Dead expert.
What's going on?
Hey, very exciting.
episode last night. There was a lot going on. Wow. And we lost another
cast member, so it's very sad. Yeah, well.
One nobody likes. Someone kind of liked. And we still, and the one kid, Sam is still
around. He's going to be ashamed to see that little kid go. I'll tell you that. Yeah. So he
tells me that dude's not going to make it. Yeah, good. That's a shame. Somebody just
toss him over the wall. What happened to Sam? I don't know. He just wants cookies. That's all.
I don't know.
What happened to him?
I don't know.
There was a lot of noise on the other side of the fence.
Go check.
I don't know.
Yeah, he's an annoying little kid.
But then we find out, I'm sidetracking quick,
but we did find out in the episode
that it's quite possible that Sam, you know,
they're getting beat up from the drunken dad.
Yeah, yeah.
And you know what I thought was really kind of poetic?
Because Carol used to be abused by her husband all the time,
and she's the one that picks up on it.
Yeah, she knows the signs.
Yeah.
So, you know, if we go down the dark alley,
yes.
He's going to kill her and the kid,
and then Rick's just going to have to take care of him.
Yeah.
Now, the good people, you know, flip that around,
you'd think, oh, boy, then Rick gets to take care of him
and they can be together because they just have a thing together.
I know.
That's why she has to go.
Yeah, I don't think it's going to work out.
I don't think it's going to work out.
Somebody tells me that,
we're gearing up for, um, like I really do believe the walls are going to be coming down shortly.
Boy, it sure seems that way. Yeah. Keep the walls up. We, we tease that last night with, uh,
Noah wanting to learn architecture, uh, in the gazebo eating steel cut oatmeal. It's real tough in the future.
And, uh, then, uh, we saw what we had talked about last week a little bit is that,
that they are in the D.C. Metroplex.
Yeah.
So, man, there was a lot of people wandering around.
Tons, tons, tons.
And we saw it in the warehouse.
How many just in one little area?
Right.
And you get overwhelmed quick.
Woo.
And they did, man.
That was a really good scene.
Yeah.
I mean, it's a little, I don't know if I buy the whole, you know,
I guess it's a, you know, okay, they got caught in the door.
I got it with no bullets and no weapons.
I got it.
but it just seems like maybe he was smarter than that.
But on the other hand, you know, we're finding out,
I'm really surprised that the people at have survived as long as they have
because they don't seem to have the real-world feeling yet.
Yeah, like you even saw at the construction scene, the head foreman,
he freaks out and totally leaves, you know, their,
their friend right behind.
Right.
Just like nothing.
And Abraham goes in like a badass and takes care of business.
Tremendous.
Which was great.
Yeah, I mean, he had his great line last night of the Mother Dick.
And then my favorite line from him, though, was after the Bash and Pop.
That's right.
That was good.
That was my favorite after the Bash and Pop.
So we have Mother Dick and we have Porch Dick.
That's what's trending on the Walking Dead right now.
Unbelievable. Amazing.
Anyway, you know, so then we, we lose, we lose no, we lose the other, you know,
we got the, we got the blow up a walker, right?
I might add that now that we are in, and this is as a side note to the Walking Dead AMC,
as a side note, now that you are in the East Coast and, you know, the Washington, D.C.,
whole Metroplex and you're going to have this huge need for walkers.
Hello, my name is Jeff Fisher.
This is my podcast of the Jeff Fisher Show.
And this is, we're talking Walking Dead.
And I believe that I have already requested and I'll put in one more request that I would
like to be a Walker killed on your program.
Thank you.
I think you'll be looking good as a dead Walker.
Hello, as I'm saying.
Oh, my gosh.
Come on.
You're telling me there's no fat walkers in D.C.
Shut up.
Right, like there's no fat walkers in Atlanta.
Come on, man.
Come on.
Anyway, and then so let's, okay, so we are at the end,
and we've got a communist lady in charge worried that she's giving too much power
to Rick and the team.
Yeah.
She's starting to feel the power crumbling a little bit.
Well, it is.
I mean, you just totally see, you know, that, you know, the new group.
you know, at least to them, our group,
they're slowly but surely taking control
of some of the head positions, you know what I mean?
So Michone and Rick, you know, they're the cops, right?
I'm not going to say constables.
I'm not going to say it.
They're cops.
Thank you.
And then now, you know, Abraham's going to be the head foreman.
You know, now he takes that role.
And then with Aiden dead, you know,
Glenn's obviously going to take up the new role
of being the head scavenger.
So, you know, a lot of, like, really big,
positions is being taken over.
And Darrell's out scouting.
Yeah.
Yeah, with a new bike and a bunch of gay best friends.
It's awesome.
So, all right, so there we are.
We're losing, you know, we're taking over now.
Future.
Do we have, are we just overrun by walkers?
Are we overrun by walkers because they follow the noisy motorcycle or they follow the noisy
van or we get them all worked up with machine gun fire and they just keep coming or does someone
knocked down a section of the wall say this group the wolves or the Ws and then they just
send in the walkers you know like like the governor did the governor used to have you know
truckloads of walkers he'd just wheel in and let loose I think something's going to happen when
the group comes back we saw the group come back but we didn't I mean we heard them we didn't
actually see Glenn's group come back.
But I think somebody's going to happen here with the leader of Alexandria.
Now that her son's dead, I think she's going to freak out.
Somebody's going to happen, going to make a scene.
And, you know, they hinted that Sasha was up in the gun tower.
Oh, right.
So I don't know.
Right.
And maybe somebody freaks out because, you know.
I forgot about Sasha freaking out.
We stuck her up in the, we stuck her up, just go up there and be quiet.
get your crazy butt out of here.
So I think maybe something might happen internally between our group and the original people there at Alexandria.
Well, even, I mean, and she will freak out, although the sun knew at the end that it was, you know, look, it was our fault.
Yeah.
I mean, what did he say it was they didn't freak out we did or something like that?
I mean, come on, don't be shooting at grenades, dude.
Come on.
Yeah, I mean, first of all, I really have a tough time.
I know it's a TV show and I got it and we need the action and all that kind of stuff.
And I get the whole thing, it's not real.
I got it.
But really, I mean, are they that?
I just can't get by that the Alexandria people have been that incompetent and have survived so well inside these walls with, you know, power and water and life is good.
And we're partying and we're making cookies and we're going out.
And we've got, you know, our lover out searching for more people to come into the same.
city and then we finally get people into the city and that's when things start falling apart.
Now, we know, I guess we know that things are going to start falling apart, right?
I mean, you have, without maintenance, all things falls apart.
This is not a commercial for Simple to Lose.
And then, so, you know, we know that it's probably going to start falling apart, but it just seems
like it's awful convenient.
It is.
And it's also interesting, too, because you do, if you look at the group, you know, at Alexandria,
or the original group, you know, Aaron and his, I forgot his boyfriend's name, yeah.
But they're really some of the strongest people they have.
Right.
And it just shows you that, and they're very inexperienced in this world.
So it just shows you the level they're at with dealing with the world they live in.
And yeah, it really does boggle the mind.
How did you guys make it this far?
And I really do.
think that those walls play a huge part in their survival.
Yeah, I mean, that certainly makes sense.
Yeah.
You know, they got the walls up and then it was, we just stay behind the walls.
Then they realize that they can't.
Yeah.
So I am really looking for it.
I hope, I don't know what's worse for Rick.
I don't know if it's worse for Rick to have a minor affair before the whole world goes to hell
with his girl
and then the whole world
goes into chaos
or if it's better
for the show and his mental
toughness to
only want the affair and not have it
and then have the world go into chaos.
I think he's going to take it. I think he's going to take it.
I mean, we've already seen in the past, there's always
been that weird love triangle
and the Walking Dead series. You know what I mean?
I know.
Rick can't. I just don't think I don't see it.
I may be saying. I may be saying.
see him taking it
or at least going for it and then
hubby walks in
I just think that it's going to
for Rick's character
he can't it can't go all the way
I don't know I can't go I think he will
and the reason why I tell
I say this is because
Carol and Carol went and told Rick
what happened with Pete
he was pissed he was pissed
but Carol was like yo
literally there's only one choice
we got to kill him.
That was it.
Not we should arrest him.
Not we should rough him up a little bit.
He's dead.
He's done.
He's gone.
Yeah, this, Rick, I just want to remind you, this ain't cool in the gang here anymore, okay?
We just have to kill him.
That's just the way it is.
Yeah, that's the way it is.
See you.
You got to go.
All right, so are we headed?
We got what, two episodes left?
Three episodes left?
Yes, we have two episodes left.
And the last one is supposed to be an hour long or a two hour long program.
Right.
So, you know, in the next episode, I think they're covering a lot.
And we already see how, I don't know, in the preview clip they gave us,
we can already see how Michone's already going back to the sword.
You know what I mean?
She put down the uniform and picked up her old clothing.
She has to, because she overheard Carol telling Rick, this ain't cool in the gang.
Maggie, yeah.
Yeah.
And I think what's going to happen is definitely, you know,
you know the head cheese there at
Alexandria and now with her son
is dead and now with that information
that Gabriel gave
them I think there's going to have to be some type of
conflict between the two groups
that definitely lays the groundwork
for her to freak out because
her son will be dead and she has
the she has the Satan disguises
himself from the preacher man
yeah and you know
okay really is that is that right
there preacher man
yeah he ticked me off yeah that was
And then he was like ripping out the pages of the Bible.
Like, come on, what's up with that?
He was, look, first of all, he wouldn't be, he's just, you know, he's still mad that they had the killing at the altar.
Yes.
That's all it is.
He's still mad.
And, you know, it was still a church.
And, you know, then, uh, what's your face had to remind her, remind him a, no, it's a building with four walls.
Talking Walking Dead.
Be here next week, same time.
Same Dead Channel.
Take care.
