You're listening to the Jeff Fisher Show.
Don't miss Pat and Stu.
Lincoln Chase me, too.
Everybody forgot except for his bold initiative on the metric system.
Yes.
That was where people were like, oh, my gosh.
We're talking that.
We're talking meters.
We're talking centimeters.
Yeah.
Kilometers.
All of them.
And he may be a little Celsius.
He also looks like a turtle.
Pat and Stu.
Weekdays at 5 p.m. East.
on the Blaze Radio Network.
Episode 3, season 6.
Wow.
That means it's time for Talking Walking Dead.
Oh.
All right.
Joining me on Talking Walking Dead is our man Aaron Hernandez.
Aaron.
I don't know about you, but I'm still a little...
I'm a little daisy.
I'm a little hazy.
I'm a little like I got shell-shock.
That's what I call an episode.
So that was really intense.
No doubt about that. No doubt about that.
Very good. Very good. Very exciting. A lot of things went on.
Of course, you know, last week we were, you know, we were in Alexandria and we saw what was going on.
What caused the horn? What's, you know, getting the attention of the herd of the Walker from Walker Quarry that we're trying to move out.
And then this week, of course, we have to be with, you know, with Rick's crew that are, you know, leading Walker.
Quarry heard trying to get rid of them and save Alexandria.
And I got to tell you, it does seem like a far-fetched idea.
We haven't talked too much about the idea in the last couple weeks.
So before we get into a little bit of, you know, the entire episode of last night,
let's talk a little bit about Rick's idea of doing this.
I don't know if there is a better way.
I mean, I get what he's trying to do, but it just seemed like, I don't know.
I like Rick, right?
like Rick.
I got mad love for you.
I got mad love for you.
But I think he has a bit of a god complex.
You know what I mean?
And he thinks that he can control.
He's Rick, man.
20 million zombies there.
He's Rick.
He's Rick Grimes.
Of course he do.
Also another thing.
I don't get how all these zombies are like following the rules of the road and all
in one on one road just, you know, going there, you know, following the truck, I
mean the car there.
So orderly.
The zombies became so orderly.
here in this last episode.
Well, we have seen giant herds like that,
but it does seem like pretty soon
the herd is big enough to where they're not,
they can't hear the motorcycle, right?
Yeah.
I mean, I would think that the car would have to shoot a bullet
in the air every once in a while,
which they haven't done.
Maybe they're doing it and they're not showing it to us,
but I mean, it would seem that I get that there's the motorcycle
and the cars leading the herd,
but ever so often you've got to have some kind of noise
that keeps them coming in your direction from way back, right?
Which would be bullets, gunfire.
Well, what I think it is is that really is just the guys in the front, the zombies in the front,
that are leading the whole thing because then it just, you know, there's a chain reaction,
it's dominant.
No, no, I understand.
I get, I get it.
They all, you know, they heard up.
I know them.
I get that.
It just seemed like the idea is a little.
It's ridiculous.
You're telling me, come on.
So I think he messed up.
And definitely in this episode, I think he's, you know,
he realizes that this was a little bit ambitious even for him.
And it's not going the way that it was supposed to go.
So now he's finding baby food and freaking out.
Yeah, this ain't cooling the gang here, bro.
Okay.
So, okay.
So he goes and gets you breaks up with,
now they're together, right?
And they realize, oh, crap, the herd is breaking off
heading toward Alexandria and Daryl and the other two are cruised
their car and their motorcycle leading the herd
and they've got to stay on point
and he's going to break off and go back
and try to stop him and head him off
with the pass with the
RV and then he breaks off with the
other crew. He's going to go by himself.
I mean he's just like I mean okay come
on. What are you thinking?
Dude he's being Rick
right now and even like that little
prep talk that I gave to Michone
and Glenn that was
even even they looked at him was
like, yo, that's pretty harsh.
They're like right here.
They can hear you.
They can hear that you're saying,
nah, just leave them to the, you know, to the zombies, let him get eaten.
So I think he's kind of losing it right now, man.
No matter what happens, all right?
You're going to lose some.
It's like I'm right here, dude.
I can hear you.
I got feelings.
Well, look, we have feelings too.
But you get hurt.
You're gone.
Okay, that's the way it is.
That's Rick right there.
I mean, Glenn.
and Michone
dragging around
the hobily gok
you know
trying to hob up
find a place
to heal up
with the two limpers
Rick would have been done
with them a long time ago
yeah he would let them
die
I'm not gonna kill you
but you're on your own
over there in a corner
talk to you later
I think this episode
just kind of proved
that mercy
is a very very costly thing
in this world
like to give somebody mercy
is you're taking a chance
you're taking a big chance
and definitely proved that here in this episode more than once, more than twice.
Well, the big news of the episode, clearly, was...
Spoiler art.
Look, you're getting this.
We're recording this Monday after the live broadcast.
If you have not been, you know, listening, watched it on your DVR, or gone home and watched it on Amazon Prime, you know, and by the way, Amazon Prime gets that up about 23, 3, 3, 3.
o'clock in the morning on Monday.
So, I mean, you can catch it early Monday morning if you had to.
I'm just letting you know, just letting you know.
New people out there that got Amazon Prime that don't have cable.
Just let you know that.
The new Walking Dead episode pops up about 2.30, between 2.30 and 3.30 on Monday morning.
Glenn, big star, part of the family, part of our Walking Dead family.
Dead.
From the start, man.
He's been there from the start.
Oh, that was intense, man.
Yes, it was.
I got to believe, you know, as I sat and watched it, I was really, I thought he was dead.
I did.
I thought, I thought he was gone.
I was so mad to be like, he's going out like what?
A lot of people were pissed.
Like a sucker?
This is ridiculous.
That guy, Nicholas should have been dead 20 times over.
Glenn should have killed him 20 times over.
And then this is the schmuck who gets him.
killed quite literally.
I was serious.
Now, you still are.
You still got a little, you still got a little anger.
I need to breathe.
I need to go do some yoga, relax.
Now, having sat back and not gone back and watched the episode, which I may have to go back
and watch this episode, actually, having sat back and thought about it and read some reviews
and read some other things that are going on, it's possible.
I don't see why we'll get into, you know, it's possible.
that maybe he didn't die.
Maybe we're going to try to weas a lot of killing Glenn
and show that he didn't die.
Homeboy shot himself.
And I thought about this.
At the very first, when they fell, I thought about it.
And then it looked at the, as watching it live,
I thought, no, he's dead.
But when he first fell, I thought,
if he's laying on top of him, he's got a shot still.
Get out of there.
But they show him lean back, you know, with his head back.
This is what I'm thinking.
because I rewashed it just recently.
And literally...
That's why I wanted to go back.
I'm going to go back and watch you again.
I just watched it.
So Glenn falls down.
Right.
Momo over there drops on top of them.
Right.
And I think what happened was that's going to save his life.
I think so too.
They ate Nicholas.
Right.
Okay.
So that scene ended with him leaning his head back, closing his eyes.
You know what I mean?
I think he's just freaking out
And I don't blame him
I don't want to see that
Well no
Of course not
But he also knows that
You know
Guess who's next on the table
But here's what I'm thinking
Okay
Here's what I'm thinking
Rolls underneath the trash can
No I think that
Because he's surrounded by all of them
And he's covered with blood
Like in the first couple episodes
Oh yeah they'll leave him be
Yeah so he smells like
I think they're too concentrated on eating
This guy
He smells like him now
I think they're going to be like, oh, that's just one of us.
Yes, they leave him be.
I think that's what happened.
I think he's just now covered with it.
They think he's a zombie.
I love that.
So I think maybe he might be all right.
Because we've done it before.
They did.
We've done that many times before.
Yeah.
So once he realized that, he needs to rub himself with all that crap.
So there's a chance.
There's a chance.
Yeah, I give you that.
I really, I really was thinking that, I wasn't thinking, I forgot,
I wasn't thinking about the already.
covered in it. Although I think that's probably you're probably right. You know and showrunner Scott
Gimple, which is the, he's a showrunner of the show and he's also one of the writers of the show.
He said in some way we will see Glenn, some version of Glenn or parts of Glenn again, either
in a flashback or in the current story to help complete the story. So I mean, even the showrunner
is dropping hints that he may be alive. That doesn't sound like he's alive. He may, okay, well, he may be
coming back, right? He may, there might be
some hope there. So we'll see in the next
episode. All right, so that doesn't
sound like he's alive. That actually
bumps me out now even more. I'm mad
at him again. I got
mad at him again. I got a high hope.
That he's not alive and that we're going to, you know,
we're going to end up seeing Glenn as a walker
and that we're just going to throw him in a closet
because nobody has the heart to kill him. And it's just going to be,
don't go in there, that's Glenn the Walker.
And we're just, ever so
often, you'll hear
and you know they'll say oh that's just glenn and they'll leave him alone
and they'll throw him you know every once in a while they'll you know they'll throw
him a little squirrel leg or something let him go on that thing don't mind him
he means well all right so and tell you though it does prove and I thought
I thought it does prove well though that if he is gone
and if he is dead and you know in talking about it
I'm talking walking dead thank you so much for listening
I appreciate it
Aaron Hernandez joins me we're here every week
if you
follow me on Twitter at Jeff EMRA
my Facebook Jeff Fisher Radio
I will tell you you have 15 minutes
I'll give you the phone number you can call if you want to talk to us
about the episode if not no worries
we'll be here talking about it
but
one of the things
it does tell you is that look
ain't nobody
safe now
even I know there's stars and I know
it's a TV show and you know
you got to have the stars nobody wants our stars to die
I got it they've always supposed to find a way to survive
but ever so often
I mean you ever saw it like last season
we had what's her face
the blonde chick
what was her name? I can't remember her name
I don't know
They're going to the hospital.
Oh, Beth.
Yeah, Beth.
Beth.
Yeah.
You know, we lost Beth.
And so, you know, maybe this season right off the bat, we get really clean house, we get rid of Glenn,
and we add that to the tally.
Okay.
And, you know, Glenn comes back once in a while either as we find him as a walker and we put him in a cage
and throw him a squirrel bone once in a while, or he comes back in a dream because the wife
gives birth to a new baby that's already an adult that looks like Glenn.
So I have mixed feelings about this whole.
thing, right? Like I got really
mixed feelings because the way
his fate is in the original
source material, in the comic book,
is so epic and
so really intense
that this would be kind of
a let down for the viewers
in that sense. You know,
they're not going to get something, you know, as satisfying
as the comic book.
Now, but then
I'm also, I kind of,
if he does go out this way, if he does die
this way, I kind of like it.
Because it just shows you how insane this world is, and you could die no matter what, you know what I mean?
You could slip on a banana and die.
It doesn't matter in this world, you know, it doesn't matter who you are.
You're nothing.
You're, you know, you're disposable.
Yeah, very bad.
And then they're just with the group, I mean, he's just, he doesn't show up.
And What's Her Face is going to always have hope that he's still alive, but he's never going to show up.
And neither is Nicholas what a putts.
Oh, dude, that guy
Ugh, ugh.
He knew he was going to lead him into a box canyon.
You knew he was.
I mean, you just knew it.
Glenn should not have been listening to him.
I don't care.
Glenn knows a city just as well as anybody else.
He doesn't need to be listening to him where to go.
Glenn, okay, and that's where he messed up.
That dude should have killed him twice over already, possibly more.
That guy, Nicholas should have been dead a long time ago.
I want to tell you what's great about television is that now we can have a,
radio show,
podcast talking about that show,
and being as flippant as anything,
he should have killed him a long time.
He should have.
Just done.
Put him in a wood chipper.
Who cares?
So that means that next week we hopefully will find out,
and it's possible that we don't find out,
if Glenn is still alive or not.
Maybe we spend a whole, you know,
episode doing other things
and before we find out if Glenn is actually alive or not.
but I love your plan of being covered in goo and surviving.
I buy that 100%.
I hope so.
I buy that 100%.
And, you know, I hope that works out.
But he's still got to get out of there, bro.
I mean, I realize you're covered in goo,
but you've got a big herd to get out of,
and then you've got to figure out a way back.
And that's a, you know, that's a long, long road.
Yeah, you better start practicing.
Rick had the run in with the people at the Winnebago.
That was...
Not being Mr. Winnebago Warriors.
Weekend warrior.
You knew Rick was going to...
There's no way these punks are going to take Rick, first of all.
Sorry, it's not going to happen.
And also, I think another piece of evidence to show, like, why Mercy sucks so much in this world.
The guy that Morgan let go took a shot at Rick.
Oh, that was him, right?
That was him.
Right.
So, and he looked, he had the baby food, so Rick now knows this dude was in his house.
Holy crap.
I know, I know, you know, I know we have to go,
but I just want to say, no mercy.
Okay, that didn't hit me that that was Morgan's leave now.
Leave now or die.
And so this guy comes back.
That's what happens, man.
No mercy.
No mercy.
Thanks for listening to Talking Walking Dead.
We'll see you next week.
No mercy.
No mercy.
Jay Severin.
She told the American people it's a video by a guy in California
whom they arrested and I believe he remains in jail for using his First Amendment rights.
In any case, that's tragic.
What's factual is it wasn't the video and she knows it and they proved it.
Hillary Clinton totally lied.
The talking points lies.
Democrats, lies.
Jay Severin.
