Starting point is 00:00:25 We'd love to talk. Business. Blaze Radio Network And now, chewing the fat with Jeff Fisher. I do not like the sound of this. So across the United States, in California, Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico, and Texas, it is time for the tens of thousands of tarantulas to begin crawling out of their boroughs in search of females, So the males are going to be crawling everywhere looking for a little bit.
Starting point is 00:01:05 Oh, yeah. Here is the hotness of that female tarantula I am looking for. Crawl on up here, girl. Except I don't think there's going to be any music playing unless there's some documentary that wants to do it. I'm not a fan of having thousands of tarantulas crawling around. And I don't care if they wander into my tent or my porch or my house. Accidentally, I don't want them around.
Starting point is 00:01:40 Sorry. I realize that according to all the experts, they're just misunderstood. Uh-huh. Okay. Sure. They're misunderstood. Tarantula is preferred dry climates. And, you know, they're prevalent in these other states.
Starting point is 00:01:55 And sure did I mention South Florida has the Mexican red rump and Texas Brown can be found in Oklahoma and Missouri, and that there are 29 described individual species of tarantulas. Don't care. Don't care. Don't want them around. Sorry about it. According to this, Texas has 14 tarantula species. I'm not looking.
Starting point is 00:02:24 Oh, what species are you? No, sorry. I have got a shoe for you. Get away from me. Now, they say that they typically come out from late evening into early dawn, so that's why a lot of times you don't see them out in the desert. And the males are the ones that you see crawling around because they are looking for business. It is time.
Starting point is 00:02:44 And they're saying, hey, I'm going to come out of my burrow, and I am looking for a female that's waiting for me because I got something for her, which is really a mistake. Because once they get done with business, the female usually eats them. I thought those are black widows. No, there's a tarantulas. And if the male is lucky enough to take care of a little bittance and get away, he crawls back into his burrow,
Starting point is 00:03:18 and since he can't molt again, he dies. Oh, okay, so either way, after bidsiness, you're dead. Now, don't you want to help feed the female tarantula instead of just crawling off and dying? I don't know. I'm not sure. That's a tough call if I'm a male tarantula. I think I want to take a shot. And you know what? I'm happy. We took care of a little business. And now I'm leaving. And I'm going to try to survive, even though most times I don't. Now, the experts all say, look, they don't want to interact with humans any more than most humans want to interact with them.
Starting point is 00:03:54 And no native tarantulas in the United States pose a serious threat to humans. you know, except, you know, if someone has a serious reaction to spider bites. Oh, so they do bite. They don't really, they don't want to interact with you. But you know what, since I'm here, I might as well bite you. Oh, okay, thanks. Appreciate it, Mr. Tarantula. And they say don't get too close because the hairs on the back of the tarantula,
Starting point is 00:04:24 they shoot them off at you. They're like darts. And you don't want to get too close because they'll shoot them into your skin or into your eyes. And you don't want that. It could be a cause of irritation. Yeah, you think? Oh, did I forget to mention that they could jump two or three feet as well? I'm not a fan.
Starting point is 00:04:47 I am not a fan of tarantulas. So I hope that they do their serious tarantula bidness without me around. but if you live in the states of Arizona, California, Texas, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Oregon, Washington, oh, let's not forget South Florida, let's not forget about that place at all. Oh yeah, or Oklahoma, or Missouri. You may have an issue with the tarantula because it is now tarantula season. Well, it's coming up. they really prefer September, October, and November,
Starting point is 00:05:29 but also right now, here in the summer at night, they really get the itch. And remember, they are just out looking for business. The female stays close to the borough, and she comes out and she is out there waiting for some male to show up, and the males wander around looking for the female. Then they take care of business, and it's done. Okay, that's fine.
Starting point is 00:05:53 That's good to do. No, but I don't want them around. So just a heads up, you may stumble across one of thousands of tarantulas out looking for biddeness this time of year. Tread lightly. Tread lightly. Welcome. Welcome to Chewing the Fat. Boeing back in the news again.
Starting point is 00:06:19 And again, it's not really good news to be in the news for Boeing. Remember last year they had the strike of machines. Venus unions and they were on strike and they were on strike for a long time and it hurt Boeing a lot. On top of all the other matters that is going wrong at Boeing, I mean, we had, you know, the transportation secretary saying that Boeing had lost the trust of the American people. Uh-huh. Yeah. Kind of have.
Starting point is 00:06:47 Well, now in St. Louis, more than 3,200 union workers at three St. Louis area plants that produce U.S. fighter jets, voted. overwhelmingly to go on strike. Oh, okay. Now, according to this, the contract did include a 20% wage increase over four years. I don't know what else was in there.
Starting point is 00:07:11 I'm sure more time off. I'm sure they wanted more money, more insurance coverage. That's usually the case. What's weird about this is that the union leaders, it says in this story, that union leaders had recommended approving Boeing's
Starting point is 00:07:28 offer because they know they know dude or do that you know now's not the time you know I know you think it is but it's not I know you want to improve medical pension and overtime benefits in addition to regular pay
Starting point is 00:07:44 but take what they're going to give you so that we can move on with their lives and get the trust back but no the union workers all voted overwhelmingly to strike so the current contract was set to expire on Sunday, but the union said a cooling off period would keep a
Starting point is 00:08:05 strike from beginning until August 4th. So that's next week. And I don't think that's a good idea. I don't know. They just signed a new deal to make these new U.S. Air Force fighter jets. They were going to expand the St. Louis Work Center. Okay. I know that you want to say that union members delivered a clear message, but I'm I would say one of the messages that they're sending is that everyone else is really struggling and trying to keep their head above water. And we're seeing you have a pretty good job, but it's not good enough. And right now, everyone wants to have that good enough job.
Starting point is 00:08:48 That's for sure. So good luck to Boeing. Good luck to the union workers there in St. Louis. And, you know, I hope you get everything you want. I hope everyone gets everything they want. But I don't know that that's going to happen. And it got me thinking about, you know, in January, the first part of January is where we have the future of the jobs report
Starting point is 00:09:12 and from the World Economic Forum. I know. I get it, the W.A.F. But I remember going over the future of jobs report for 2025. And this was back in January, first part of February. And they surveyed one. thousand forty three unique responses by global companies collectively representing more than 14.1 million employees worldwide. Okay. So they gave a list of the what you need for jobs in the
Starting point is 00:09:44 future. And I think some of these, I think we're already way past that. This was before AI was smack dab in our face. It was here, but it wasn't in our lap. So they claim the number one thing for the future of job report is analytical thinking, which was that 69%. Then they claim that resilience, flexibility, and agility, as that's 67%. Leadership and social influence, 61%. That's kind of, okay. Creative thinking, 57%. Motivation and self-awareness, technological literacy, empathy and active listening,
Starting point is 00:10:22 curiosity and lifelong learning. Those were the 50% or above. then you drop down below 50%. Talent management, service, service, AI and big data. I bet that has moved up quite a bit in the last seven months.
Starting point is 00:10:41 Systems thinking, 42%, resource management and operations, those are all between 40 and 50%. And then you drop down between 30 and 40%. Dependability and attention to detail, quality control. All right.
Starting point is 00:10:59 Those are all between 30 and 40%. As I said, now we get between 20 and 30% of the surveyors saying teaching and mentoring, networks and cybersecurity, design and user experience, multilingualism,
Starting point is 00:11:13 that may have gone up as well, marketing and media, 21%. And we'll stay in the 20s, reading, writing, and mathematics, environmental stewardship. Those are all between
Starting point is 00:11:24 20 and 30% of these companies. Then you get down between 10 and 20%. Programming, manual dexterity, endurance and precision. 13. Global citizenship. Yeah, that's what we need. Global citizenship. So, anyway, that's from January. How much of those, how much of that has changed since January? I would say there's a number of those that have gone way up and a couple that have gone down. So good luck, again, to the unions working in St. Louis, four. Boeing because right now I don't know and I know Trump is in office and I know things are looking good and we're we're all making just billions from tariffs and we all we all feel that don't we
Starting point is 00:12:08 wait we don't okay but we know that it's there or we're told that is there and uh most Americans are like what are you doing uh so I know I know I know okay so right now half of the United States roughly 198 million Americans are under a heat advisory. And what better way to suffer through a heat advisory than to get yourself some kexy cookies? I know. Stay inside and have kexie cookies. Kexie cookies, that's a small batch cookie company
Starting point is 00:12:47 founded by Pat Gray and his family. Look, I've had way too many kexie cookies and I know my way around a cookie. Okay. and these are awesome. Now, their newest flavor, Dubai chocolate, I think is going away at the end of this month. If you're listening live, today is the 29th of July.
Starting point is 00:13:04 You only have a couple days left to get the Dubai chocolate, and then it goes away. But they always are adding new cookies and bringing back favorites. And I believe the coffee cake is coming back next month, which is delicious. And so if you're a fan of the Dubai chocolate, which is the pistachio filling,
Starting point is 00:13:23 crispy shredded, filo dough, rich chocolate. Get it now because after the end of the month, it is going away. But just go to kexey.com and you can see the flavors that they have, and they are awesome. And it is, these are not your daddy's cookies. I'll tell you that. These are not the elves. These are not any other dingleberries. These are kexie cookies.
Starting point is 00:13:47 Okay? Yeah. These are kexie cookies. And I'm going to have you to tell you a little secret right now. Okay. This is just between you and me right now here on chewing the fat. Okay. If you go to kexy.com, Keksy.com, K-E-K-K-S-I-S-I-com,
Starting point is 00:14:04 and use the promo code, J-E-F-F-F-Y-1-8, you're going to get 18% off your order. 18% off your order. Hello? Don't tell anybody, though. It's just between you and me. Kexie. com.
Starting point is 00:14:22 premium ingredients, they bake them in small batches, they ship them nationwide, kexie.com. K-E-K-S-I dot com. Don't forget to use that promo code. Jeffie 18, Jeffie 18, and you're going to get 18% off your order. I know, you're welcome. And once you're addicted, don't play me. Blame Pat Gray. Don't blame me.
Starting point is 00:14:52 Playing Pat Gray and his family. I'm just telling you about him, okay? So, kexie.com. Kexie.com. Boarding for flight 246 to Toronto is delayed 50 minutes. Ugh, what? Sounds like Ojo time. Play Ojo? Great idea.

So there is actually, you know, bad stuff happening around the country. I know, that's a surprise. I mean, we had a couple of big shootings yesterday where people lost their lives and were injured. We had the one in Reno where a gunman opened fire outside a resort.
Starting point is 00:16:12 Three people killed and injuring several others. He is wounded and I guess is in the hospital in critical. condition, boy, be a shame to lose him. And then we had the one in New York City where a Las Vegas resident stormed the high rise at, well, it's in New York City, 345 Park Avenue, killing an NYPD officer and shooting multiple others. He later took his own life. Okay.
Starting point is 00:16:40 What a shame. It was reported that they found his, well, they said it was a letter. It was multiple pages, so I'm pretty sure, I guess we call that a manifesto. But he wanted to blame CTE and playing football because the building that he was in was, how's the NFL? But that's not the floor that he was on. So, okay, I got you. Whatever, that's fine. But just terrible, terrible, unthinkable that this is happening around the country.
Starting point is 00:17:10 Then yesterday we talked a little bit about the pilot that got arrested in San Francisco, you know, flying in from Minneapolis. And I was pondering what could he? have done that caused this? I mean, once they shout up to the jet walk, the officers, Homeland Security, and other security details stormed in
Starting point is 00:17:32 and arrested him right out of the cockpit. Wow. And so apparently, this followed a three-month federal investigation. He faces five counts of oral copulation with a child under 10. Oh.
Starting point is 00:17:49 Yeah, that would make them rush in and arrest this man right away. So what a shame. What a shame that we've got him off the streets. Then I saw the video of the man who allegedly, allegedly stabbed 11 people at a Michigan Walmart, and he showed up in court. And he started babbling to the judge.
Starting point is 00:18:12 Now, the judge gave him a $100,000 bond. I don't know, I just feel like that's too low. It's just too low for stabbing 11, I'm sorry, allegedly stabbed. 11 people at a retail store in Michigan. So he started babbling to the judge about, you all, we have the audio of it and the video of it.
Starting point is 00:18:34 You all have the tobacco company and you're selling cigarettes with fiberglass and chemicals in them just to kill off the population. You can't accuse me of anything if you're doing that. Well, actually we can. And we're going to. you allegedly stabbed 11 people at this Michigan Walmart. So the judge said he gave a $100,000 bond.
Starting point is 00:18:57 I just feel like that's too low. But he is incarcerated, I believe, at this time. Now, then we had the mob that attacked people in Cincinnati over the weekend. It was a black mob, which attacked white tourists. And according to the police chief of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, Chief Terry Theagg, T-H-E-E-T-G-E.
Starting point is 00:19:27 She is unhappy with you. Another topic I want to cover real quick. Uh-huh. Social media and journalism and the role it plays in this incident. Oh. And yes, guys,
Starting point is 00:19:44 that's you. That is you. Yeah, we heard you. Social media. The post that we've seen does not depict the entire incident. What? That is one version of what occurred. So. At times, social media and mainstream media and their commentaries are misrepresentation
Starting point is 00:20:09 of the circumstances surrounding any given event. Oh, we didn't see what we saw? What that does, that causes us some difficulties in the circumstances. thoroughly investigating the activity. Oh, no. It causes the police some difficulty in investigating. Oh, Chief, say it isn't so. Because what happens, that social media post...
Starting point is 00:20:34 Right. And your coverage dub it... Right. Distorts the content of what actually happened. Oh, no. Isn't that your job to distort it? I'm sorry, go ahead, Chief. Oh, you're done.
Starting point is 00:20:50 You're going to just take some questions now. Okay, well, that's good. So police have identified five suspects from the violent fight with the crowd of a hundred or so. Videos of the fight have been made, you know, you've seen them all. And Cincinnati Police Chief said, we're not going to disclose the charges or names of the suspects. Oh, and who are not in custody during the afternoon press conference. Wow.
Starting point is 00:21:14 So they have some charges and they have some suspects, but they have an arrest. anyone at least as of yesterday okay that's good to know that's good to know I wonder why that is I wonder why that is huh okay all right let's go to the break room I need something cold to drink desperately so the United Kingdom just passed the online safety act okay I'm I mean, that's great. It's all for your safety in the UK, right? Well, big surprise.
Starting point is 00:22:01 VPNs, which disguise your IP address to make websites think you're located in another country, became the most downloaded apps in the UK. So look for the UK to start banning VPN. I'm sure that's coming. So half of the top 10 free apps in Apple's App Store in the UK, are VPNs as of yesterday. The top ranked free app in the country, Proton VPN, logged an 18, 100% surge in signups. Making the UK one of Proton's busiest user bases.
Starting point is 00:22:46 Yeah, so good luck, Proton, for trying to stay legal in the UK after this. So according to the plan, you know, the United Kingdom wants to keep kids from accessing not safe for work content. And so they have age verification rules. But apparently those damn kids are finding ways around it. I don't know why I don't believe it. I just don't believe it. So, but it's true. And websites with content deemed inappropriate, Reddit, Blue Scout.
Starting point is 00:23:23 and Pornhub. They've all introduced age verification checks designed to keep you from seeing the website if you're under 18 as required by this new law. Okay. Some sites ask for selfies, videos, or photos of IDs to check users ages,
Starting point is 00:23:42 which I don't like that. No, I just want to look at the website. Okay, I don't care. So there's age verification used by TikTok, Uber, and X. I guess that's been hacked before. I'm not sure. Look, everything's been hacked before.
Starting point is 00:23:58 We've covered that before. Look, it's all going to be get out there. So if they're doing this, believe me, it's going to, the information is going to be out there. So just heads up to you VPN companies. You may be banned in the UK and Europe, for that matter, because France, Ireland, even here in the we're embracing this online age verification rule and look i know i know i don't want the kids to see that stuff either i want it to be age appropriate but good luck because i know that if i was oh let's say under 18 which was you know a million years ago um i would be finding ways to go around the
Starting point is 00:24:50 online safety act. And so it would be, this does not surprise me one bit. Good luck. Hey, if you've already bypassed it, you can follow me on social media. At Jeffrey Jafr on X. Jeff Fisher Radio on Facebook and Instagram.

And you can always order a cameo from me at Jeffie JFR on the cameo app. That is not free, but it is worth every doggone penny at Jeffie JFR on the cameo app. So yesterday I talked about Adam who said, hey, watch the Nick on HBO.
Starting point is 00:26:23 So I started to watch the Nick, and I remembered that I had started watching it before. I got to figure out where I was at, because then something happened, and I paused it, and I never went back to it. And then I started watching a new show. My wife said, ooh, this show looks interesting for you. It doesn't look like a show for me.
Starting point is 00:26:42 It's called Smoke on Apple TV. And I started watching it, and I thought, yes, I like it. So it's a psychological thriller, and it's created by the same guy that did The Wire and Shutter Island, and it follows this detective, an arson investigator, of course. And he's got to track down two serial arsonists operating in the Pacific Northwest. Now, apparently, it's based on true events. Okay, so that's cool.
Starting point is 00:27:11 And it's got nine episodes. The first two episodes are available now on Apple, and then they're going to drop new episodes. weekly until August 15th. Okay. So, good. And that kind of ticks me off every episode,
Starting point is 00:27:26 but that's the way Apple does it. I got you. Okay, so the first two episodes are available. Looks really good. I started watching it. And then we lost power. And so I could, everything had to stop.
Starting point is 00:27:37 Because it was getting late. And I needed to go to bed. But I was like, I'll catch the first episode anyway to see if I like it. And I was like 10 minutes in. And then it was, And the power went out.
Starting point is 00:27:50 And the power did not come back on until about two and a half hours later. And then apparently it went out again when I was asleep and came back on because the power was on when I woke up this morning. So the power crews were in the neighborhood. They were all wandering around trying to figure out what happened. And then my wife took a picture of the crane. Somewhere across the street above another house, they had a crane come in and take out something. So somebody hit something. You can quote me on that.
Starting point is 00:28:18 somebody hit something and the power went out they said on their website it was a de-energized conductor oh okay all right fine because if you follow me on x you know that i did post i post on x and i just wanted to remind you that when the power goes out the phone charger will not work and you do it out a habit really I mean, you know that it's not going to work. But I'm sitting there and, you know, I just started watching a smoke. And I looked down on my phone and it was really low. I don't know. It was like a 15% or something.
Starting point is 00:28:59 And I was like, I got to plug my phone in. And then I realized, well, that's not going to work, Jeff. You dofess. Now, we have some other packs that save energy that will charge things. Yeah, no, it's not a generator. I do not have a generator. but it is like a mini generator and it will charge a mini generator that charges phones and tablets so as long as it's charged so and it was thankfully so you're able to use that to plug in and that's what we can use for a light as well I'm nothing I enjoy more than candles and living like it's 1810 all over again and this is how much of a struggle it was this morning I got up and the
Starting point is 00:29:46 clock on the microwave and the clock on the oven were blinking. Do you know how that drives me insane? I mean, I can't take it. Now, the clock on the coffee maker was reset because my wife is very kind and always sets the timer for a pot of coffee for me, right? And so it's a, you know, the coffee maker has a timer and so we set it to get up. Now, if the power goes out, you're screwed, right? And so between the time she set the timer, the power did not go out. But no one fixed the clocks on the microwave and the oven. I could barely, I could barely pour my first cup of coffee this morning as those things were blinking as just, well, welcome to my world. With Amex Platinum, $400 in annual credits for travel and dining means you not only satisfy your travel bug, but your taste buds too. That's the
Starting point is 00:30:57 powerful backing of Amex. Conditions apply. Who died today? Who died today? Well, let's begin with Ryan Sandberg. Ryan Sandberg, long-time Chicago Cubs star baseball Hall of Famer, dies at the age of 65. He was battling cancer. He was diagnosed twice in 2024.
Starting point is 00:31:25 and he had been diagnosed with metastatic prostate cancer. And apparently he fought it off easy in the beginning, but then obviously it came back. Huh, that is weird. Another cancer that just took off after 2024. Anyway, rest in peace to Ryan Sandberg. The guy was a monster. I mean, he was a great baseball player,
Starting point is 00:31:50 and that's the reason he's in the Hall of Fame. so Ryan Sandberg and you can go down and check all his records he's got a statue outside the stadium I mean he is he's awesome last year they unveiled that statue outside of Wrigley
Starting point is 00:32:06 and so I mean it's just a really good baseball player and a good man from all I can from all reports so rest in peace to Ryan Sandberg at the age of 65 then we have a lady who was known as a philanthropist and i guess you get to do that when your father uh who started the this foundation
Starting point is 00:32:29 but he got his money from publishing empire uh tv guide and other publications and then he sold uh sold it to uh rupert murdock uh and uh so then he became a billionaire and just became a philanthropist and started the annenberg foundation so uh the daughter of this man uh wallis or Wallace, with probably Wallace, W-A-L-L-I-S, Annenberg. She supported the arts, science, education,
Starting point is 00:33:00 animal welfare causes over decades in Los Angeles, passed away at the age of 86. She died from complications related to lung cancer because she couldn't put down the cigarettes. I don't know that, though. It doesn't say that.
Starting point is 00:33:15 It just says that in their statement, they said, Wallace transitioned peacefully and comfortable this morning, to her new adventure. Cancer may have beaten her body, but it never got her spirit. We will hold her and her wisdom in our hearts.
Starting point is 00:33:32 Awesome. I mean, her name is all over buildings in California because she gave a great amount of money. And she, you know, she headed the foundation for 16 years. It's the nonprofit, donated billions or over a billion to thousands of organizations in Southern California. and she arts education, animal welfare, environmental conservation, and health care. So at least she was tried to do what she thought was good with the money, you know, that daddy earned.
Starting point is 00:34:06 Wallace Sandenberg, dead at the age of 86. Then we have Layla the cat, who was 14 when the cat died. Now, she died in August of last year. So she has not been dead a full year yet, but Layla was 14 at the time of her death. And according to this story, she died following a battle with heart disease. However, that was exasperated by those damn blue angels flying overhead, days overhead. And she tried to stop them, the owner of this cat. her name is
Starting point is 00:34:50 Lauren Ann Lombardi and she's pissed and she has now filed a civil action lawsuit against the Blue Angels and she's mad too because they blocked her on Instagram you can't have that
Starting point is 00:35:08 not in today's world you just can't have that so apparently she left voice messages and she told off the squadron in this, you know, she said,
Starting point is 00:35:21 stop with your effing bull. You are terrorizing my cat and all other animals in wildlife. That's what she wrote on Instagram. Nobody gives an F about your stupid little planes. And now they blocked her, and she's pissed. So she's suing the Blue Angels for the death of dear Leila,
Starting point is 00:35:44 who was 14 years old. Now, I'm not a cat person. I don't know how old. Cats make it. 14 seems like a good, good amount of time. But apparently that's not good enough for Lauren Ann, because Layla didn't make it,
Starting point is 00:35:58 even though Lela was recovering from heart disease, but those damn blue angels flew overhead, and they just made too much noise. She lives in Seattle, or the Seattle area. And the Blue Angels, I guess we're performing aerobic maneuvers across
Starting point is 00:36:22 across the Seattle skies. I mean, I do hear them here when they're in this neck of the woods. And I hear a lot of other military jets flying over my house too. And if I had a cat that was 14 years old suffering from heart disease, I'd blame them too.
Starting point is 00:36:37 So rest in peace to Leila, the dead cat at the age of 14. Good luck with your lawsuit, Lauren. Let me know how that works out. Okay, then we have, well, not dead yet. We had the press conference yesterday with Dion Sanders, primetime, the head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes. I figured, I thought, you know, when it was released that he was holding this big press conference with his doctors,
Starting point is 00:37:03 that he was going to step down as head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes. Nope. He turns 58 next month, and he has been really struggling with his health. You know, he had a couple of toes amputated. over blood clots. He's had 14 surgeries since 2021. He was still the coach at Jackson State at that time. But he announced yesterday that he had been fighting bladder cancer, an aggressive form of bladder cancer. Huh. So remember, never mind Ryan Sandberg having this aggressive prostate cancer. We have talked at length on this show about every, about the times that we made.
Starting point is 00:37:47 mentioned people with bladder cancer. And I couldn't be caused by that, though. No, I won't hear of it. It could not have been caused by that. But we sure have had an uptick of people suffering, dying from bladder cancer. Thankfully, Dionne Sanders is not dead due to his bladder cancer. He had his bladder removed as part of the surgical plan. And he said it was not a cakewalk.
Starting point is 00:38:14 It wasn't easy. and it was dynamic and he thanked everyone involved and he thanked Randy Moss for calling him every other day and praying with him and he's lost 25 pounds and he was very concerned and he just you know
Starting point is 00:38:31 thankfully he says now he's cured however he went on to talk about how he doesn't have control of his bladder now I'll let him tell you Like, it's the whole life. It's totally different. And, but she provided other persons that have gone through what I've gone through so that I could talk to them and get some sauce and understand, like, what I'm facing, not just from a doctor, but from another individual.
Starting point is 00:39:09 And to have to have it had been told, like, it's a totally different life. I mean, thank God. Because you don't have one. Amen. Amen. Wow. Dion Sanders. That's really sad and uplifting.
Starting point is 00:40:32 at the same time. Primetime telling us that don't be ashamed of it. And interestingly enough, there's a lot of people going through what he's going through. Huh. Makes one wonder, doesn't it? I'm glad Primetime is still alive and able to be the man on the sideline
Starting point is 00:40:53 and in our lives. I mean, he's been in our lives for a long time. And he is a lightning bolt. There's no question about that. So I'm glad that the man is still alive. And he's going to help a lot of people because let's deal with it head on.
Starting point is 00:41:08 And you're going to see it, and it's going to be talked about. And so, you know, I'm glad that Dionne Sanders is not dead. I will say, isn't it interesting that so many people are struggling with bladder cancer, though? Just is interesting. It's hockey season,

And, you know, I do it chewing the fat segment, and you can catch it there on Blaze TV or any platform that you want. No problem. But I will say, this is just, I know that this story will be. be in some kind of show prep tomorrow because I'll be there on Pat Gray Unleashed starting at
Starting point is 00:42:51 6 a.m. Central. There's a new Elvis Presley biography, claiming the king took home syphilis from Wiki-watching. I guarantee you, somewhat on that show will bring this up because I know I'm a fan of the king. Hello, he's the king of rock and roll, he's Elvis Presley. I named my son Elvis Duh, I'm the king of rock and roll. For years, I had one Elvis as a license plate on the front of my car. I'm a fan. I loved Elvis. He's the man.
Starting point is 00:43:24 He's the king of rock and roll. Duh. But according to this new biography, that he went to Wikiwachi, that's down in Florida, which is a, I think it's a state park, they have the springs and you could go there and they have girls, females, that play mermaids, and they swim and put on a show. and it's always been a fascination of many, many people. So apparently he showed up at Wikiwachi,
Starting point is 00:43:52 and I believe that's documented. He was at Wikiwachi. And he apparently took several notes, and according to this biographist, he took extensive notes on the women he embedded. Oh, okay. So this researcher, Michael Stark, whose new book
Starting point is 00:44:14 The Real Elvis What the King hid from his kingdom You know what Let's not try to knock the king Off of his pedestal Okay I mean I get it Okay he was a mortal man
Starting point is 00:44:26 Duh But we're not going to knock the king Off his pedestal Okay we're not going to do it I may have to reach out And actually talk to Michael Stark And find out what he's trying to do
Starting point is 00:44:39 Because if he's trying to knock the king off his pedestal He and I are going to have an issue. So apparently one afternoon, he went through the little bidness with all the mermaids. And one of the mermaids had syphilis. And so apparently he held a grudge against Wikiwachi the rest of his life. And apparently there's reports that he actually tried to buy the park with the intention of shuddering it. I don't know that to be true. But it's funny. So there are people at Wikiwachi are pissed.
Starting point is 00:45:16 They're saying, no way. No way this happened. Our Wikiwashi, you know, the mermaids have it all. They ruled an undersea's kingdom. And they would never even see anything in a mortal man. Duh. They would see Elvis Presley, the king. You're telling me the king couldn't go through each mermaid at Wikiwachi?
Starting point is 00:45:37 I believe so. Hello. That does not surprise me. And, you know, Grace Land obviously is trying to downplay it. So it would be interesting. I'm going to have to reach out and talk to my man, Michael Stark, and get the real thing here because I want to know what the king hit. Because I thought I pretty much knew everything about Elvis Presley.
Starting point is 00:46:01 And I do know that he went to WikiWachi, and I have heard the syphilis rumors before. And he was also sick with this other thing. The other biography lady that we talked to, I can't think it went in my head right now. She said he was really sick with this disease. His whole family suffered from. And that's why they died early.
Starting point is 00:46:21 And he was, you know, that's part of what killed him. I mean, I realized that there were other factors in his death. I got it. But don't you be trying to knock the king off his pedestal, okay? I won't have it. I won't have it. But I guarantee you, as I started this segment, is that this will show up on Pat Gray,
Starting point is 00:46:41 unleashed probably tomorrow he may try to save it till friday but he won't be able to help himself because he loves giving me crap about the king and so it's coming it's coming i'm ready i'm ready bring it on all right let's get out of here i'll leave you with the joke of the day this joke of the day comes from uh someone called madman and he sent it with the subject line maybe someday you'll use one oh so apparently i haven't i haven't used any of his madman jokes I will say this. Maybe someday you should send some jokes that are funny. So,
Starting point is 00:47:17 I mean, he did, actually, which is what, you know, why he's being talked about now. Because he sent, he sent on that particular email, maybe someday you'll use one. One, two, three, four, five jokes. Okay.
Starting point is 00:47:31 And, uh, I, they're all pretty good. They all made me laugh. I put a smile on my face. So we'll start. with this one, which actually, I mean, this kind of made me laugh. It's a dad joke.
Starting point is 00:47:47 But my favorite I'll save. My favorite I'll do later in the week. But this one will start with someone threw a mayonnaise jar at me. And I was like, what the hell, man? See, because it was, you got it. You got it. Stream and subscribe to more Blaze Media content at the blaze.com slash podcasts.
