Yeah. For a resource, Jason, Maximus, I must say, I mean, I've enjoyed all three episodes, and I particularly enjoyed this one as well. Oh, yeah. I mean, this is second in a row of getting a brutal kill by Negan. I mean, what more can you ask for? I thought it was great. We got more on the Crowat and how Negan's,

philosophy influenced the Croat to go more extreme with it to the people are a resource? Yeah, yeah, no doubt. And when we, you know, they really pushed on us to like Jenny. You know, I get it. Can she talk or she just doesn't want to talk? I mean, I'm confused on that. I guess we're to believe that she can, she just doesn't, right? Yeah, that's why I think.

So much horror that she doesn't speak. So it'll be a great day when she says, I know, or okay. Oh, she speaks. Okay. All right. But she can whistle, apparently. Yes. And I thought for sure we were going to see a whistle.

We may actually. I think that's how the next episode is going to start. Yeah, because she was all wound up that, you know, jumping ahead to the end. But Maggie was ready to burn her stuffed animal. and the you know i think that's where we're going to get the whistle right because nigan just got done uh fighting big boy luther in the kitchen which was a great fight that was a great fight he just kept pushing nigan nigan didn't want it and then okay well then let's go yeah just when you

think nigan is uh going to go down for the count nope cheese grater oh i know so great like that that's that's the nigen that we expect like you know like you you don't like normal people would not expect someone to be that brutal, but that's just the way he fights. She's greater to the eyes. Right. And then he falls back, you know, luckily, of course, he falls back and dings his head on the, his skull goes into this, a pipe. And he's still alive.

But the look on Negan's face when he pushes him down to finish the kill was definitely the Negan we know and love. Yeah, straight up. And then, yeah, I love the fact that, you know, I got like. like kind of, I don't know, like when I used to do the claw to my kids, you know, like the right, your hand, like does what it wants. That was like, he looked down at his hand like, crap, you did it again. It's still in there. I can't stop it. It's always going to be there. And for those of you listening and can hear the yard work going on outside,

they're just, don't, don't worry about it. All right. It's okay. They're out there working. The soundproof room is being, is under construction. So I apologize. So, okay, so then we started off with, we can go back to the beginning because I enjoyed, you know, Ginny getting into the city and she got into the city without anyone seeing her, which was interesting because I thought that was being monitored by the Croatians. But I guess not. I guess not. As long as you're riding a log into the city across the river, you're fine. It wasn't a log. It looked like either a broken fridge or a bathtub.

That was a cooler. It was a cooler. Something. I thought it was that log she was looking at. Maybe I made whatever. I thought it was a cooler. I was like the old cooler chick. I thought it was a bathtub.

Okay, so it was a cooler, a bathtub, a log, something. She was floating across the river. However she got across, it was definitely a stealth to the Croatians. No question about it. There's actually the Croatians. Croashians. I love that. So, and then we see them out hunting.

deer in the city for food, which was awesome. Good way. I mean, it's interesting to see. They're finally letting us see how they figured out how to get catch food. And it's pretty amazing that they're still wandering deer in the city of Manhattan. Hurds of people have eaten everything around the city. You'd think that the zoo animals would already be gone. But no.

No, no, no. they have not. You're talking as if this is like Manhattan's a small island or something like that, and there couldn't be a ton more deer getting in. Like, come on. I know. I know. I don't understand.

Maybe Central Parks just got filled with animals. Well, no, we heard the story of what happened, right? She told us, she told Negan and Maggie that how the government came in, blew up the bridges, blew up the tunnels, and, you know, kind of washed their hands of it and said, you know, what happens in Manhattan is going to stay there because we're not letting anything out. And if you think that it's not going to happen in real life, you're sadly mistaken. But, you know, she said that's how it happened, right? And so all the animals in the zoo and in the park would just figure that they would already be gone.

It's been quite some time. But again, you're right, Jason. What do I know? Nothing is what I know. And I enjoyed the Croat headquarters at Penn Station, which was a lot of, awesome. He's got everything laid out nice and neat. Did you hear the after? Did you watch like a little after commentary? Yeah, a little bit.

He was all talking about how their offices were also those sweets. Yeah. And I just thought that was kind of crazy. He's like, they're up there like writing scripts and stuff. And then down, the crow, and just like one level down, the croat is like. Yeah, they're shooting. Throwing somebody off the edge. That was awesome. Yeah. And again, it was a long way to the well with Armstrong, our lawman, to get to being in town for Nagan. Okay, that was a good scene, though. That was a good scene.

Which one? Yes. I mean, the scenes were great with Croat and we got that introduced us to him. And it introduced us, got us a little bit more aware of Armstrong. But I'm just saying there could have been, you know, I don't know, it was a long, why do we have the law man there? Yeah. Okay. I don't know.

It literally felt like just so he could have that monologue. We talked about it last week, right? That was the only thing. Right. That's the only reason. And, you know, we got a great fight scene. Max, you're right. The fight scene, the cage fight was awesome, right?

He figured, remembered that it was the guy that Croat fed the key to because Croat was a little unhappy with the food he was being served. without having any of that. So was that on purpose? He had him swallow that just to see if he would use it later? Yeah. I think so, yeah. I think so.

I feel like that was the case, right? And then especially after, you know, obviously the plans change, but I think especially after he was either accidentally or on purpose tried to be poisoned with the food. Yeah. Right. then it was change up and feed him the key and he just killed him he didn't throw him into his people

our fuel tank and let him turn into a walker right so then we had the fight it was weird that he made you know it was strange that he gassed Armstrong before the fight you know so he gave the walkers an advantage

a little bit of doing that yeah it's interesting that you have the camera effect that they made to show like what it's like and I've been dying to talk to you. Jeffie, what actually happens to the human body when you huff methane? I will say that, well, just between you and me, I probably would have been dead. You know, I don't know how much he huffed. I know it, you know, you reach a certain point during the huffing process, and you're not fighting walkers.

You're just not fighting walk. You're sitting against your, your handcuffed to the pole in the middle of the cage and you're thinking, oh, yeah, here comes some walkers. That's the end. How many times have you huffed methane, dad?

No, I don't want to. I can't. I don't want to start breaking things down by the numbers. And, you know, then we had, you know, Maggie walking down memory lane. I still, you know, I have my issues with Maggie. I know everybody loves her.

But, and if it gets us to Negan, I'll put it up with her. Well, it's crazy how, I don't know, I think the showrunners clearly think that Maggie is the main star of the show. But Negan's scenes are just stealing every single episode. Right. Every single one. Even when she's trying to, like, have a heart to heart, like, I'm really trying to act here. You know, and she's doing fine. But it's just, she's just getting upstage.

by Negan every single episode. Yeah. But Lauren Goan is a great actor, but so is Jeffrey Morgan. She's hot. Well, yeah. Okay. Shut up. You're thinking the same thing. Guys, come on.

It's not all about that. Don't tell me what I'm thinking. Anyway, I loved the, you know, their stories was, you know, that was interesting. and you know they you know maggie and nagan trying to you know get to know each other and realize that they are you know a lot alike right there there are a lot of like especially now for maggie she hates to admit that uh you know she wants to hate nagan but she she's finding herself more and more uh i can't hate him because i'm like him and he's better than me right i think that's where we're at you're right you know maggie's supposed to

to be the star, but the way it's written to me, I mean, Jason, you're the professional writer or whatever. That it seems that you know, they're making it so Maggie's going to have to

kind of bend the knee to Negan. Maybe. I don't know. I don't think so in that far, but like, I mean, that was a really good, that was a really good part of the episode I thought just because, I don't know. She kind of seemed to soften up to him as you're kind of the point you were making was I mean She's she's no seeing a lot she's seeing that a lot of the

Stuff about Negan is just a show but sometimes it's that show is needed and That that conversation also actually gave us another reason to have the Marshall because it explained why The main actor the actress that was Negan's wife is no longer on the show anymore You know what I mean because oh yeah, because he he shipped him off he shift them off to to Missouri. Yeah. Right. Yeah.

And he was part of the new Babylon, right? He was part of that crowd. Right. And so, I mean, that was interesting. And, you know, that was his story. So he's got a wife and a kid out there somewhere. And that's, you know, we all have to have a hope. Okay.

I wonder how St. Louis is doing. Okay. We all have to do hope. All right. Yeah, I wonder how St. Louis is doing. Gateway to the West, baby. We're all fine. It's all good.

No worry about it. They're fine. I'm sure the wagon train made it safely. Okay. The wagon train. All right. I'm sure that happened. No problem.

And you do, you know, it's funny that they showed the bag lady out walking the streets, picking up goods on the street. I mean, even in Walker World, you can't get away from bag people out there on a street. Come on now. Okay. Even then, yeah. Right. He's walking around with three or four bags.

picking up stuff off the street. I mean, I guess sooner or later you run out of stuff, but it is New York, and there's a lot of, you know, there's a lot of things to still pick up for your family. We've had, you know,

like, dude, if New York was, I'm just saying, if New York was a fully devoid of any life, except one person, and that one person decided, I'm going to go out and pick up stuff,

they wouldn't be done for another 25 years. Yeah, I mean, that's possible. But so many people, I mean, at the time, right, of the fall, we are to believe that it was insane, right? And so many people were going through their stuff and people lasted a long time in their apartment, I mean, a long time for in our world, you know, in their apartment, trying to stay safe, obviously thinking that, you know, they're going to be rescued. Nope, nope, sorry. The bridges are blown up.

The tunnels are blown up. Have a nice day. If you can find the right cooler, maybe you can fly. back across to New Jersey and get out of there, but good luck. Absolutely. I mean, and I love this. I love the idea of, of the city. I love the idea of Croat having Penn Station.

You know, that's going to be fun to see them getting in and out of there in the old Penn Station, you know, his story about the remodel job and how they didn't get rid of it. They actually just, you know, plastered over some of the old stuff. And, and I love that Negan was like, are we sure they? He hasn't boxed that all up because that's what I would have done. So I went down this rabbit hole of looking at some of these Twitter accounts, and they're always talking about crazy conspiracy theories and like the Illuminati and all that stuff. Oh, no.

And I'm like, oh, whatever. And so then we watched this episode, and then I'm like, did they model this group off of the Illuminati? I mean, I'm sorry, but their little ceremony before they talk to each other. Oh, yeah, our tribe. Our tribe. Yes. Our tribe, yes. I don't know about it.

It was just a little prayer. It was a prayer. And it was a prayer. Was it? Was it a prayer? I think it was a prayer, dude. Well, they, look, they sat down. The humming part was the prayer?

Well, yes. My gosh. What kind of? Never been to church. Okay, so I'm just saying, when they hold up those things, and make that little symbol, I'm just saying... That's their tribe sign. And they have...

That's their tribe sign. When they pull out the little lighter or the knife or whatever, that belong to someone that they love, that they're remembering and, you know, asking for grace for them. My gosh, man. You can hide your head in the sand all you want. I'm calling out the truth. Oh, you're just delusional. But I loved the scene where Negan was out. actually explaining how he, how his group rose and fell, how the saviors originally fell

because of what he was doing, but he didn't specify it was him. Right. Right, that was good. And Maggie caught. Maggie was like, oh, yeah, sure. Yes, it did work. Yeah, we took them down. So I'm still confused on this one little part.

Maybe I shouldn't be. But did this, so did they take a vote saying, no, they weren't going to help? Or did they take a vote that, yes, they are going to help? but the big dude was the only one that didn't agree with it. I think it was just Luther. That was the issue. It was the big dude. Yeah, I don't know.

I think they may have taken it. It felt like they took a vote. And Luther was the one that had to tell him. Right? That's what it, you're right, that they felt like that. I don't think so, though. Because Homeboy, the other guy, the other Illuminator, was, you know, he was for it, right? He had already, he was kind of on Maggie's sound.

and talking about getting in and out of the building. It was him that got in out of the building, that kind of thing. So I kind of felt like that once Negan, you know, got rid of Luther, that maybe we revote. We have another vote. Yeah. But I don't think it was a vote. I think Luther just was curious.

And then he found the wanted symbol and the wanted in his bag. And we're like, okay, why are you wanted? How are they going to explain? How was he going to explain that away? Because I think in the preview for the next episode, it shows them all working together still. Yes, it does. And I would guess. And this is the thing, right?

So now they probably did vote to help. Okay, so let's use that. They did vote to help. Luther finds the wanted poster and confronts Negan before he confronted, before he told anyone else. So Negan just deep pockets the wanted poster, and they don't even know. So he's just going to say he attacked me? Yeah, something. Yeah, something, right. Okay. I guess.

We use some excuse because they're only going to know if and when they confront Croat and or Armstrong in Penn Station, right, in the dome. Mm-hmm. That's going to be fun. Yeah. That's going to be fun. Yeah. That's going to be really fun.

I'm going to like that and enjoy that a lot. I can't wait to see Negan and Kroat when they face off the first time. That's going to be great. Is he going to go back into full-on Negan mode to try to intimidate him? Or is he going to, he would have to, you would think. Otherwise, he would show Wien. He has to be Negan, right? He has to be.

I mean, double and triple down on it. Right, he has to. You know what I was doing. And we're here to save the kid. It would be, I mean, I still think, unless he's saved. He saves Armstrong and Maggie from Croat, right? So then this is how Herschel stays with Negan when he takes over Pensorses. God, you're still on this.

And so the Armstrong, the lawman leaves with Maggie, takes Maggie home with safe passage, and decides that he's not going to come after Negan anymore because he's in charge of Manhattan. There you go. There you go. And the show. Roll credits. It's not going to happen, though. It's not going to happen.

I did like, and I noticed it, and I remember saying I noticed it in the opening, but they kind of focused it when Jenny came on the island. They did like show a scene of the World Trade Center, and it was just being half, it was halfway built. And I'm like, you know what, that's nice continuity, because around the time of the apocalypse, it would be halfway built. Right. Yeah, it looked good.

I did, you know, it was kind of enjoyable to see Negan with her, you know, when they were out and she wouldn't scream for help and then they were looking for the stuffed animal which he was upset with her and which the Walker had already the guy that they killed had already taken from her and was in the bag and uh you know Negan is

getting frustrated but then he lights up like a dad and realizes all right I gotta take another tact you know what you're right you know what I mean it was that's kind of interesting because he's really struggling there right I mean he's really trying to be the husband the dad he's always been good with kids

he always has been the whole time i'm just thinking i hope they're making him him likable to counterbalance all the how bad crap they're going to have him do yeah yes i hope so too and that and that actually is what outshines maggie right i mean there's no question that's what outshines maggie because i mean maggie is going to have to do she's going to have to go into this to get herschall and do some pretty go pretty gory stuff thing is we've already seen that from her. You know what I mean? That's why Nigan is really the star of this.

Because we've already seen her, you know, have to kill walkers and have to kill people to survive, that kind of thing. So we know that she can do it. We want her to do it. We love that she does it. But she's not the ruler. Yeah. Yeah, for sure.

Yeah. And that's, yeah, that is what's, I guess, leading this show for me right now and makes me excited to see it. Because we've seen Uber Evil Negan. We've seen completely Woosified Negan. And now we're getting this, like, more, like, believable version of him. Right. You know, I guess he's more just of a gray character. He can switch on and off, go back and forth.

But that is, yeah. That's the thing, right? He's going to have to reach a point going after Crowat where he's not going to be able to go back to being Mr. nice guy. Jenny may be there seeing him being horrific and I don't know that he can you know that look he had on his face

when Maggie saw and killed the guy right in the last episode and the look he had on his face after he pushed Luther's head down farther under the pipe that look is the look of he may not

come back from that that's old Negan that's sanctuary Negan that's the he's going to have to go into that mode and at some point I mean that's tough to come back from

and if he's going to rule after he kills Croat he's going to can't come back from it what I love to is like what's just saying what I love to is like specifically with like the dynamic I know we haven't seen it in a while

and we all miss it the dynamic between Rick and Negan and how those two Rick and Negan were our basic are the same character basically. Those two mirror each other in more ways than one. Like, Rick has done some pretty evil stuff and he almost didn't come back from it. And what brought him back was Negan putting the boot down on him.

And then we got a wuss and Rick. And then we had Rick back, but with a more gray area where he was good and bad at the same time. Yeah. Yeah. I just want to see the bat come back. We've already got the black jacket. I want the bat to come back. No, he's not getting the bat back. The bat's gone. The bat's gone.

Not the bat, but another baseball bat. Come on. And you're probably, you may find one, right? As he's going into Penn Station or, you know, Croats headquarters there where the Croatians are staying. He may find one, right? There might be like, where you have, you know, the umbrella stand or the baseball bat stand. And he just grabs it and he gives it that look like, oh, yeah. Well, he already, I thought there was kind of a tease because he went to

go get that gift. He said, I found it a gift store. Wasn't it like a Yankees hat? Oh, yeah, he gave her the Herschel hat. For Herschel. And I was like, oh, please tell me you picked up a bat while you were there. Please. Yes. All they had was baseball stuff, so I didn't get you anything, but I got myself a bat. I just look at her face. Oh, it would be

awesome. Oh, yeah, here's a hat. But how you like my new bat? So I am looking forward to the next, we have three episodes left for this, for this, man, it's the season, right? Yeah. We're looking at six episodes. Everybody wins a prize, stories we tell ourselves, and,

Domasmo. So, yeah, we'll get more of Croat for sure. I mean, it's tough to let Croat go. I will say this. If he could get Croat to bow down, which it's not going to happen. But he's the science that he's got. and creating fuel for the new world, I mean, it's going to be tough to let that go.

You know, when Deegan takes over, he's going to have to still control the science and have energy to move around. I mean, it's going to be so funny when you're proven wrong. Hey, look, at least you weren't, no, at least you weren't proven wrong immediately after you gave that theory,

like and fear. Oh, no, no, no, I fully expect. expect Madison's husband to be actually the guy behind the Croat. That's what that's what that's what stuff like that's still happening. I mean, we don't know who's working on the tanks. We don't.

We don't. We don't. Right. Remember when he was fixing the boat and all that stuff? Travis was like, I think, Travis was, I think, a science teacher. So. Right. Could happen. Jeffie, did we ever see his body? No, we have not.

No, we have not. And if it's, I love how all the rumors about, like, who's that one character at the end of the midseason of fear? And everybody's thinking it's Troy. And you two are like, who? No, that's not Troy. You don't be silly. All right.

So I'm really looking forward to this for the next episodes. The first three episodes have been awesome. And I really have enjoyed the heck out of them. I really have. I don't know that there's anyone. I mean, there's characters that I've questioned, like, okay, did we really need them to advance our story? you know, yes or no, you know, whatever. But the overall story, I love.

Same here. The only thing that will annoy me is if they take Negan back in the other direction and they, what's fine, you know, like that will annoy me. I think what can make it even better, if they just stay on this track, I think it's perfect. If they, what could really push it over the top, in my opinion, is if they start doing more of these flashback scenes, but they show Manhattan, right at the fall, I think that would be an amazing opportunity. And just she was the one, that one, the head of the Illuminati, she was talking about what,

you know, she was narrating what happened during those first days. Right. And I was so into it. She's like, body's falling off the roof. So like, I was like, er. Yes, it was, I mean, it was scary. And you know how, how scared they felt and how horrific it was. Show it.

Yeah. I wouldn't mind seeing that. I would not mind seeing that. So we also have, do you know what, this, this show is. getting me super excited for the next two Walking Dead shows coming. Darrell and Rick and Rich and Michan.

Yeah, and think of this now. We mentioned a little bit last week and I know we've, you know, we've yapped over the usual time frame, but the you know, these people are still facing the old walkers, the ones that just meander, I'm sorry,

the fleshies, the ones that just meander to you, right? I mean, even when they, I mean, it'd be a world if you're throwing one of those fast walkers in that cage. Oh, yeah. That's a different, it's a different world. So, I mean, if they have to start dealing with that in the city, holy cow. Like the one at the, what was that, the bonus scene after, uh, when, what was it?

After World Beyond. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Good stuff. I mean, that's what Daryl's going to be. That's what he's going to be. Yep.

Mm-hmm. That's going to be good. That will be good. And they better not, wussified Egan. They better not. they're on a role I mean people like it do not go backwards right now

oh I'm so pissed okay I gotta ask this one and I know dad's answer Jason if one a world beyond character has to show up again what one world beyond character would that be

oh obviously what the hell's her name the hot one yeah yeah yeah what's her name the hot one you know which one

mean, with Jadis? No, no, no, no. But she's not a world beyond original character. I meant a world beyond original. But the other girl, the,

the, you know, the girl that's her sister. Oh, geez. You know, the one girl that was a little,

I knew you'd go, I know you, but her sister. I thought you'd go Silas. I know you like Silas, you know, with his suit, but no,

that's Elton. Silas is your guy. What's, what's, what's her name? The sister. Hope. I think it was. Hope. Hope. Hope and Iris.

How do you remember these names? That was the worst show in Walking Dead history. Because I'm good with names. I've always been good with names. I know World's. Because he tries to pretend. Jason just pretend he's not here right now. He tries to pretend, oh, you guys always talking about how hot they are. Let's stick with the story. What does he remember? The hot ones. Okay. I remember Elwood too and Silas. I know he's a good looking man.
