Season 10, episode 14 of the Walking Dead, titled Look at the Flowers.
And that makes this talking Walking Dead.
Now, if you're watching on YouTube and you don't hear the Walking Dead music,
that's because you can only hear it on the podcast.
You can't hear it on the YouTube channel.
Sorry, that's the way it is.
Welcome to it with myself, Jeff Fisher and Jason Buttrill and Maximus Fisher.
Episode description on IMDB, Heroes and Villains Reckon with the Aftermath.
of the hilltop fire. Eugene takes a group on a journey to meet Stephanie with the hopes of
befriending another civilization. Welcome to it, talking walking dead. Before we get to,
we gave Maximus some homework last week to give us some recap on a few of the cookies from last
week's episode. I just want to give a quick round on Jason. What did you think of this episode
this week? I thought it was good. I had a whole lot of questions.
There was a lot of big reveals, which we'll get to.
But, yeah, this has really opened up more questions that I wasn't really thinking about before,
but I'm thinking about now.
So I've been very impressed with all these episodes.
They keep, you know, kind of leading to, you know, greater things.
And I mean, the leadership at AMC is doing good job.
Are they?
No, we'll get to that voluntarily.
Yeah.
I disagree with that wholeheartedly.
Oh, my God.
He's just been leading trinkles of this all week.
Okay, so what did you think of the episode?
I honestly thought it was a pretty good episode, especially some of the reveals.
Some of the reveals were pretty good this episode.
Okay.
So, give us last week's recap of the cookie.
So last week, some of the, we found out what the, or at least I did, you guys didn't do your research.
No, we left it to you. Get to it.
We passed that up.
What Virgil gave Moshone was actually.
something called Jimsonweed, which is an actual drug in the world, and it's one of the most hallucinogenic drugs in the world.
You have to tell me. Go ahead.
That's in the garden in the backyard, right, Jeff?
Yeah.
Did you bring some in the show?
It is not.
Then there is, during the flashback when she was trying to hitchhike and Daryl just left, she was wearing the orange backpack, which.
That thing is apparently synonymous with a curse in the show.
Because first was the original hitchhiker who had it.
Then he died.
They found it.
And pretty much anyone who's worn it has either died or has been close to death.
Oh, nice.
Because first time was, let's see, Daryl wore it.
And then when he was wearing it, that was when Denise got shot by Dwight.
Then Glenn wore it.
We all know what happened to him.
And then...
Oh, yeah.
You don't want to be Glenn.
And then in...
In the flash, in the hallucination,
Michelle Ward, and she got shot by Daryl.
Weird.
Is this some weird, like, I don't know,
what are they calling, the Easter egg or something like that?
Yeah.
How crazy.
Anything else?
Yes.
And also, another thing is the phone with the drawing.
With the drawing.
Which we think is a screw up, right?
That or something along the lines of Rick or whoever drew that had seen them recently.
Okay.
There was actually something on the phone written there, and I think it said still believe, or like, still hold on and believe or something along those lines.
So pretty much saying, like, still believe Rick is alive or something like that.
Okay.
So.
Was that in a different language, wasn't it?
Japanese.
Okay.
I mean, Rick was just fluent in Japanese.
I don't think.
Everyone knows that.
I don't think it was Rick just talking Japanese.
You know what, though?
I don't think it was Rick.
I don't think it was right.
It might have been Jadis.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, the attractive lady could have done it.
Why would she do that?
I mean, she helped Rick, so I don't know.
And also, when we were, when Michone was flipping through the pages on the book,
on the book with all the places the boat has been, I don't know if that's before or after the apocalypse,
so we think after, and we think one of them, we remember one of them was New Jersey.
Right.
One of them was Tampa Bay.
Oh, nice.
Back to a little Florida news for Tampa Bay.
Nice.
And that's all right now.
So back to that phone.
I wonder if that'll be in another episode or not, I guess it won't be another episode.
Maybe the movies.
Maybe in the movies, yeah.
I'm surprised we didn't get a, like, turn the phone on.
Maybe he recorded himself saying something.
You know, power it up.
I'm not sure if it would work or even be charged.
Well, some would think that.
you, but then everything else works
and still has power, so you
figure the phone does too. Cars don't.
If it's anything like the walkie-talkies, those
are always charged up a way to go.
It's correct. Don't matter.
And just as a side note,
amazingly, we saw
record player work for
a beta in the episode this
last week. We'll just turn it on
and it works. All good.
The record players do last a long
time. Yeah, the record
player lasts a long time. The electricity
that runs it, does it.
That's my point.
A lot of them run on and throw batteries.
No, they don't.
No, they don't.
There's no battery record players.
No.
Sorry, this just doesn't happen.
So, let's get, we'll get to this episode, episode 14.
Look at the flower.
Started out with the Negan and Carol flashback,
Alpha head on a spike.
You know, Negan explaining to himself what took so,
or explaining to Carol, what took so long.
You know, crap like that takes time,
which I thought was.
He's trying to explain himself.
How's interesting to see the flashback with Egan and Carol.
Yeah, that was good.
Especially because, like we pointed out,
what was that last week or a week before,
that they just never had any screen time,
which is just so insane.
So I hope we get a lot more of that,
even though Carol is being so douchy.
I don't know.
I was like, that was the one time when I was like,
wow, I don't like Carol right here,
and I actually filled out of a little.
You know what I mean?
I know, right?
I think that was the point.
And they even end the episode with her.
coming back to Alexandria.
So that was just another
screwing Negan.
Yeah. Right? Because she said she wasn't
going to go back.
And then she decided
after she made the roof collapse on her
that she wanted to live
and she was going to go back. But
without Negan,
okay, well, thanks. Appreciate
it. You know, we've never
had any flashback ghosts
you know, haunt some of these Walking Dead characters
before. That's never been done before.
Yeah, we have. Yeah, we have.
That's my point. I'm being ridiculously sarcastic. I'm so sick of that vehicle.
Wait, wait a second. What the heck are you watching?
Wait, Jeffrey, you were the king of all, like, uh, of those tactics.
How did you not see that cover?
I apologize. I did at the last second. After I said, wait, yeah, yeah.
I did. I did. I apologize. It goes right over his head.
It's the gyps and weed.
I apologize.
It's the gypsin weed.
So, I know.
I know.
The flashbacks with ghosts are, you know, seeing people.
And I get it.
They try, you know, they're another way to keep the characters alive when they're dead.
Okay.
Well, I'll give them to you.
We had the, you know, the group then meeting up after hilltop fire, all coming together.
And this little shack.
Yeah, the shack that they found the kids in, and they were all wrapped up.
I was a little upset.
I thought your boy, Jerry, was getting a little touchy-feely with your girl.
So he got close there.
I know probably from, well, I know from insider information that they were exploring, like, a little relationship there.
I caubashed it, so they were like, will you settle for just an extended hug?
I was like, it depends on how extended it.
That almost.
I don't think Jerry's the type of guy to cheat.
on his wife. I try to tell him
they didn't care, but, you know,
they did pull back when I
put the foot out. Good.
And by the way, when you say you don't think
Jerry's the type that she doesn't know's wife, I
agree with that unless Magna
shows up. Right.
Who is gay?
You think to yourself, you know, it's worth
a little, just to say hello.
But she's gay.
Not for Jerry.
Anyway.
It was good to see them.
But then that's when...
I would make an exception for Jerry also.
So, come on.
He just throws all those issues out.
Thank you.
And then we had Eugene telling, you know, pleading his case,
pleading his case to the crowd of going to meet the New World Stephanie,
his girl that he's been yapping to.
And the king kind of saved him.
The king kind of saved Eugene because the people were getting a little wound up at him
for reaching out.
Yeah, I was glad he kind of held it back a little bit.
But you can tell he wanted to go full on and listen to that.
Oh, no, no bites.
I was like, oh, it's coming.
It's coming.
But then he pulled it, he rained it back in.
Yeah.
I miss a little bit of that king.
I miss a little bit of that king.
I know.
I kind of was hoping for it last night, too.
It was all about it.
And then we had, I love the, as we, you know,
I'm going down the breakthrough of the episode.
But I did enjoy beta.
seeing alpha on the spike yeah on the spike and really kind of going off the deep end which we knew would happen but it was
interesting that as he pushes his homeboy listen to what she's saying to his face and then the other
whispered smart and runs off that's a good yeah he's like screw it I'm out yeah when he gets this way uh-uh
why is he so why is he so I don't know what standoffish about being called
Alfa. I don't get it.
He was like that in the comics, too.
When Alpha died in the comics,
they, same, like,
One Whisperer said, you are the new Alpha now.
He reacted very similarly,
where he was like, she will always
be the Alpha.
So,
really weird. I mean, that's his...
He's always been extremely
loyal to her, and we know that, so...
And when do you say loyal?
Wacko,
They both were wacko and they both are.
I did.
And then, you know, we talk about the record player just firing up because we got to see
Beta show up at the club, the back room of the club that he was, you know, performing at.
Also, no, fear of the walking dead set.
It did kind of look like that.
You looked exactly like it.
I was like, well, it sure did.
And it was interesting to see his, you know, his poster that he rips off.
and then he plays himself.
It was nice to see him in his crazy mode,
you know, bringing the crowd of walkers to the balcony while his music is playing.
And he's actually, a rare time we see Bata smile and actually kind of lip syncing to his own song.
Right, because he's, you know, enjoy it's my audience.
Okay, thanks.
So crazy.
I'm surprised that they kind of let a lot of that go.
I have no idea how that reveal.
That reveal was kind of tiny in the comics, wasn't it max?
Where he just kind of...
Oh, yeah, definitely.
It was like just, oh, he's this guy, and then they move on.
They actually have done a way better job in the show.
Well, in the comics, he was not a...
Singer.
He was a basketball player and actor.
So I mentioned this in our little text, you know, group there when we were watching this.
But after the Talking Dead or what is that?
Show that airs afterward.
I can't remember the name of it.
And that, the actor said that that was his idea.
Yeah, he's had a lot of, like, he's heavily inputted on Beta's backstory.
That's cool.
Well, I thought that I caught something there, but maybe I didn't.
But he said, how does this character last for two or three seasons?
Has it already been two seasons that we've been in?
It's been a couple seasons, yeah.
Yeah, wow, it feels like just one long season for some weird reason.
I don't know.
he was at the t he wasn't in every single episode last season no he was in the he was in the second half
of last season but three seasons two or three seasons maybe i'm reading too much into that but
well i think that's what he was when i think that uh well yes yes you are i think that
they're reading too much into it no i think that when he was creating the character right and
they're talking about the character he's thinking about how to stretch it out for two or three seasons
whether it's going to actually be that way or not who
knows.
He's like,
she's a back story where this goes 10 seasons.
Trust me.
And think about it.
You as a writer.
Yeah, I know about that.
I mean, if you think about it, he's done a pretty good job at actually creating a
backstory for beta.
Oh, for sure.
Oh,
yeah.
I like it better, actually, than the, what was the basketball movie star player, whatever, whatever it was.
And it also gave them an opportunity to cross-promote during field.
right when we saw yeah when we saw his face on the on the record right which leads us into you know the movies and the whole bringing the you know dead world together and then it was really kind of a great scene where uh darrell is with nigan at the uh at the spikes and uh the other whispers come up and then uh it was a cool little turn for them to bow down to the new alpha
Yeah. It was such a callback. I mean, that's what he's used to, right? And I mean, it probably tells us more, too, on just how, like, Megan's mindset. Because he would be so tempted. He's like, look, they think I'm the leader now. I could easily just steal this group. I could take it back to the old sanctuary or whatever, you know, and start back up again if you wanted to.
Especially with, especially Daryl's got the arrows pointed at him. He's like, I haven't charged now, bro. I mean, the look on Daryl's face was.
tremendous.
Just like when the whisperer has the shotgun
up to his head, he puts his hand up,
and then he's like, we kneel to the new alpha.
Darrell's just like, are you kidding me?
Really good, really good.
And you knew, and of course,
then you knew that Negan was going to
kill the whispers, right?
I mean, he's got to win Darrell back.
I don't know that it helped win Darrell back.
Him explaining the shotgun was great.
Yes.
Yeah, really good.
I love Darrell's response
right after he got finished killing all of them
he goes, untie me a-hole.
You know, it was almost like playful, you know what I mean?
Right, right.
And then we had, we get to,
we get to the king
and the group headed
with their horses as they head out
with Eugene and Yumiko
and the king head out for their
trip to meet Stephanie in the
new world on their horses.
I found, it was really weird,
that his horse was bit?
It got bit during that one part
when they tried to search that one area.
When Ezekiel was being attacked by those walkers,
you hear the horse actually get hurt in the background.
Well, that's the first time we've ever seen an animal get bit
and still be, I mean, we've seen them get eaten
by walkers, but we've never seen an animal get bit
and then struggle along.
I mean, would we end up, if we'd let it go,
do we get the Walker horse?
We probably would have seen Walker animals by now.
I don't think animals are able to turn back from the dead like humans in the show,
but the infection still hits them, so it just runs them dry.
Are you the Who now?
The World Health Organization, animals are fine.
They just die from the virus.
Jeffie's weird hang up with the animals.
He'd be like, it's bull crap.
We'd see tons of rats, squirrels.
We'd see, we're the walker squirrels.
Thank you.
Horses.
They only just got, they have one bite and they're still alive, stop it.
Come on.
And then we found out when they got, when they rode into the city, everyone was wondering what city it was.
We never saw the show what, you know, there wasn't a welcome sign or what city they were going to.
I read afterward that it's supposed to be Charleston, West Virginia.
Oh, really?
Yeah.
So, I mean, we knew that they were headed to West Virginia, which is what I said last night.
that it had to be, you know, West Virginia,
but it never said, I didn't see,
I mean, maybe you guys caught it.
I didn't go back and watch it the second time.
In the comics, it was that that city is supposed to be Pittsburgh,
but to get to West Virginia,
I don't think you would go through Pittsburgh from Virginia.
No, not from where they're at.
I mean, Pittsburgh's way on the heck.
I don't know if you have ever looked at a map before,
but Pittsburgh is way far west,
getting there from there.
But it was supposed to be Charleston,
West Virginia and
that was you know
it was kind of cool getting them back into the city again
and before we talk about you know
what happened as they get closer
to the city that's
you know then we went to Carol
being trapped with Alpha
that was
another it was an interesting scene
eh
I know I'm kind of over
that too I mean really the only
point was to bring Carol out of her
insanity.
Yeah.
The entire purpose,
that entire thing,
all it was...
We've seen insane Carol
before, so this is nothing new.
Well, I know, but this
was just to bring her back right that she wants
to live instead of die, and she's
going to be Carol again, right?
Yeah. I had the sneaking
suspicion that she might actually
die this episode, just a little
bit. I thought so, too.
Yeah. I thought that might be a possibility
too. And then, of course, you know,
Duh, what are you thinking?
She's going to, you know, no other human.
We have to suspend reality.
And Carol is the new Rick, and she's going to get out of that, no problem, and save herself.
And that's fine.
I mean, I don't want her to die.
She's a great character most of the time.
My only issue is just waste time.
You know, it's like you could have done that in like two seconds.
You didn't need to develop, like, half the show to her wandering the woods and come to this revelation.
It's just waste time.
It was kind of interesting hearing name drop like Sophia, Ed, Lizzie.
Yeah, and wasting time with Alpha.
I mean, that was all that was, right?
You keep Alpha alive while being dead, and you bring back all the flashbacks of earlier episodes,
so it keeps all that alive.
Yeah.
Of course, we know why.
It's called Look at the Flowers.
Why?
Because that's what Alpha said to Carol.
I know you're being sarcastic
I don't know about that
As we
And then we got
As the king
And Eugene and you were going to get into the city
Of West Virginia,
Charleston
I thought it was fantastic
As they were getting into the city
There was the walkers in the cage
And in the cages with the bird
In the other cage
So the walkers kept trying to get to the bird
so that they would still be riled up a little bit.
And as they get into the city,
all the walkers tied up like it's the wax museum.
That was hilarious.
That was fantastic.
And then the king, when he sees the cop and the cop and the walker in the car,
he's just dying, laughing.
At first, I didn't know if, like, when they first started,
I was like, oh, they're going to, someone set in something like ominous to scare people.
And then I was like, no, that's not what they're doing.
I thought so too.
I'm with you on that.
That looks like if you have like a
bunch of frat boys
that got bored
during the zombie apocalypse
I've got a great idea.
Let's get some beer
and then tie up a bunch of zombies
look like little scenes.
Yeah, and then we meet
we meet Princess.
We meet the Princess.
The Princess, which was great.
Oh my gosh, hi!
What's her significance?
I've heard of her, but I didn't know
She showed up around this time in the comics, too. She is the sole resident of that city. That whole
city is empty, but with walkers and her. And she has been, and she has never been in a group ever.
She has only met a couple people traveling through. That is it.
Well, that doesn't say much for Charleston, West Virginia.
Yeah. So she's not tied to the Commonwealth or anything.
She becomes part of the group later, but she is not tied to anything.
That is her city and she has been living there since the beginning.
Crazy.
Oh my gosh, hi!
I love it.
She's going to be great.
That's going to be a fun character.
I don't know that I thought that her displays were as funny as the King did.
I just thought they were really cool.
I didn't think that they were that funny.
The King needs some chemo or something.
A little cancer issue going on.
I know. I know. It's going to be sad.
Who knows? Maybe the Commonwealth will have chemotherapy.
So, very possible, right? So next week, we have two episodes left. Go ahead. I'm sorry.
No, I'm just, I'm curious about, because before, I thought they were replacing the Commonwealth with the CRM.
But now it doesn't look like it.
I don't know. Yeah, it doesn't look like it. It looks like they're, so they're going to coexist.
this, they're going to have the Commonwealth and this other huge group?
That's nuts.
That's what it looks like, or it could be all these communities when they meet up,
and then the show ends, and then the movie is all the communities versus CRM with Rick leading them.
Oh.
That's a good one.
Someone pointed out, I was reading about that group that Michone saw on last week's episode,
you know, at the very end.
Yeah.
And he was pointing out that huge, you know, looked like a battalion of people down there.
They were like riding in horses and it seemed very low-tech.
But from the images we've seen from the other shows, the teases,
the CRM is very high-tech.
They have helicopters and they have uniforms, those black uniforms and all that stuff.
So maybe that's how many...
Go ahead.
They're the only group we've seen in all three shows
because they're a big part in world beyond whenever that comes out,
and we've seen them in dead and fear.
Yeah.
But now I'm confused.
I was fully set on that group was part of the consortium CRM.
But now I don't know because or maybe, because we know it's like three different communities.
Maybe they're all, they don't all look alike.
Maybe they're not all three as high tech as the one that we've seen.
Right.
Well, that's, I mean, that's what we're getting at, right?
So the movies are bringing the different communities and they all have their own special ways of doing things.
And that's their special ways of survival, right?
You learned your way.
The same with the whispers.
with Alpha.
I mean, that was just her way of survival, right?
I don't know.
I would be happy if they did have CRM and the Commonwealth,
because the Commonwealth just looked cool from what I saw in the comics.
Yes, it did.
Yeah, that would be fun.
So, next week is episode 15.
Well, we forgot to talk about beta and alpha
before we talk about next week.
Well, okay, that's fine.
Beta ended Alpha finally,
which I was kind of surprised at it.
I thought he was going to keep her alive.
longer than he did. What do you think
Jason? I don't know.
Yeah, it was interesting. I guess he had no other real choice
could just be kind of hard
to sleep, you know, with a little
head going.
I don't think he minds.
It's beta.
I don't think he minds
it's beta.
That's tremendous. Could you keep it down?
Trying to get a little rest here.
He stabs the head and then
and then we see him walk out into the herd kind of the herd he's created.
And then we see his face and he fixed the mask with Alpha's part of Alpha's face.
Right.
That was kind of cool.
Yeah, that was kind of cool for him.
So he's, you know, gone off the deep end and he's going to, you know, get his herd ready to, ready to go.
His horn.
I got it.
It's not his herd.
So next week is episode 15.
There's two shows left in season 10.
Season 15 is, the show is the 10.
tower as the communities prepare for the final battle of the whisper war and meanwhile eugene's group
encounters princess so we get a little bit more princess which means we don't get stephanie yet right with
being her we're still hanging out in charleston and they're preparing for battle and
hope you know we'll probably get uh we saw a little bit of the previews of uh beta
having the horde get bigger and trying to figure out what was going to
going on. And we also saw it one of the previews.
I don't know if you saw this, Jason, but
they were in the tower
up
behind Beta.
Yeah, it was Aaron and
Alden. Aaron and
Alden, you know, sneaking in that tower trying to
stay alive as Beta was up there, you know,
probably still humming his little
tunes for the horn
creating them. So that was, that would be
kind of weird to see what happens with that.
And my theory still
stands. Someone will probably die
that tower like in the comics, although I'm
not sure if it will be Gabriel, but let's see.
Well, he wasn't there though, right?
Yeah, he wasn't there, but maybe
because he was the one that died.
Yeah, but they
weren't, they were up in the tower,
they were, in the preview, they
weren't, that wasn't, they didn't have
the look on their face that it was post-death.
It was pre-anybody dying. They were just hiding
up there hoping that Beda and his crew
would go away. So maybe Alden
and Aaron will get up,
We'll get Gabriel's death.
Yeah, it could be.
Very could be.
And those two are another two characters that you'd be sad to see go, but, eh,
yeah.
It better be Gabriel.
Otherwise, we're going to have, AMC and I are going to have words again if it's not Gabriel.
Pretty sure I put my foot down on that one as well.
Well, I'd like to say that the, here we go.
After, let's take a moment and ask AMC, what the hell are you doing?
this is next week will be the final episode
although it won't be the final
because the episode a certain doom
has been postponed
episode 16 the season finale
has been postponed
now we found out last week
that it was going to be postponed
and everyone was like
wait what it's going to be postponed
until something
time later this year, and they're using the coronavirus as an excuse because everybody's got
to work from home. And then we get the tweet from Nicotero that talks about, hey, this is the
first time I'm hearing about it too, but the shows are three weeks out and post-production. For those
of you who are curious, involves VFX, music, sound mixing, and sound effects. Thanks, Greg.
And this process usually goes up to about three weeks from air date. I'm
fighting out about this the same time you guys are
and it's disappointing but the episode will
not disappoint. Be safe everyone.
Okay, well
then it seems to be
that two weeks ago
so the show is still three
weeks out now. Okay?
The last week. Two weeks ago
we found out that the world beyond was
going to be postponed
because of
we're assuming the coronavirus
and I'm guessing that since
the world beyond
was going to air right after the season finale of Walking Dead,
they realized, wow, we don't have, you know,
if that's true, if their three-week-out plan
and still holds true with their other shows,
then, you know, it's still, they,
no one, no one at AMC said,
well, we're postponing world beyond
because it's not three weeks out and we've got the coronavirus.
You know what, why don't you guys work on the season finale
of Walking Dead
so that we actually end the season
of Walking Dead.
And then we can postpone world beyond.
That can air, you know,
later on this year.
But we could have Dead End.
No one said that.
No one thought,
you know, maybe we ought to have to do that.
Why don't you guys work on that?
No one.
At this network, a supposedly major network,
says that.
And then we have to have their,
you know, their main Angela
the Kang showrunner.
I think it's disappointing for all of us that work on the show.
Everybody works so hard,
our post-production team.
But, you know, everything just takes longer.
There's certain processes.
That couldn't be moved before California shut down for business.
And it just couldn't be done.
Stop it.
I don't believe it.
I believe that someone really dropped the ball.
Well, I, so this is my theory.
I think that Negatorial King, all them are lying out their rears
because they're, I think,
I think they're protecting their rollout schedule.
And they wanted things to happen on specific dates.
So they wanted World Beyond to happen within a certain period of time
right after the season finale of Walking Dead.
And everything was lined up.
So right now, the only thing I think that is being held up
is the production on World Beyond.
And that's what they're worried about.
So they can't have actors out doing their stuff.
They can't be doing all their second shots and all their stuff like that.
Second recordings, yeah.
All of that stuff.
And then that, of course, holds up the movie production and then all the other, and fear production and all that stuff.
So they, I guarantee you that the season finale of Walking Dead is done.
It's in the can.
It's in the machine ready to play.
But because of their rollout schedule that they're protecting, that's why they're delaying it.
That's my guess.
Wow.
That actually makes a little bit of sense.
And I want to be on your side, but I don't want to stop being mad at AMC for dropping.
well. So that's that.
Although, so, I mean, those are, that's a, that's a good, that's a good theory.
That's a really good theory.
And if, if that keeps me from being angrier at AMC and the Walking Dead world, then I'm
going to go with that.
You make me feel a little bit better.
It still puts me on.
I don't care about the rollout schedule.
Right.
All I really care is this show.
Everything else is secondary to me.
Thank you.
That's what we're here for.
Yep.
That's what we're here for.
And if it matters that much, then replay the last two episodes before you premiere
World Beyond, before you get into fear.
That's fine.
We all would love that anyway.
Imagine you guys are wrong, and they actually can't finish production on the last episode.
Yeah, it's amazing that the network didn't see.
No, I'm with you.
Okay?
So let's say, let's say Jason is wrong, although I tend to think that's a pretty good theory.
But let's just say that I'm right.
And they just, they just dropped the ball.
Okay, so I never want to say that people should get fired ever.
I mean, that's just not right.
I don't want people to get fired.
I don't people lose their jobs.
But it's too big a deal for a network not to see this coming.
Was it a big surprise that we were all going to, I mean, we knew something was going to happen with
this coronavirus.
We knew that things were looking like,
and some studios are going to start shutting down.
We're not going to be able to get some work done.
Theaters have already started moving movies out.
Films were already being postponed.
You knew something was happening.
So if they were on that schedule,
there's no,
you can't tell me without someone dropping the ball
that there wasn't one person on the Walking Dead staff
that said, you know, we should probably double up some more.
work and get that final season finale done just in case.
You know, just in case.
No one said that.
You know what?
And while we're talking about some of these screw-ups that you should have seen coming,
can someone give Chris Hardwick's address to me?
So that when he just talked to the thing afterwards,
your audio doesn't sound like you dropped your mic and your freaking toilet.
You know, maybe like, I always,
buy you a mic and send it to you.
This is, that was, what is
he using? I don't know.
I don't know. It was bad.
Hurst and Morgan,
like Jeffrey Dean Morgan
and Ryan Hurst, their mic sounded fine.
Yeah, they also, but.
Except Hardwick. Yeah, and
actually their video was better quality
than Hardwick's as well.
So his camera, it's like he's using
his phone or something, but no,
because even phone has better audio. I don't know
what he's used. It's like he's purposely
trying to sound bad.
Like maybe he'd
duck around his microphone or something.
Something. Just something.
It has to be better, right? I mean, it just
has to be better. The show is worth
more than him sounding like crap
like that. It just is.
It just is. All right, so this is
