The king holds a secret. I enjoyed the heck out of this episode. Wow. I enjoyed the heck out of this episode. I know. You and I had a little text at the beginning, which I'm with you. The beginning did seem like, you know,

I mean, the hunt for Kelly was, you know, I mean, they have to hunt for something, right? I guess that's what kind of brought them together and they're out looking for something. but you know her her uh her hog hunt out for food and then they that was a pretty good scene though like just by itself it was a good scene except that she lived oh come on except that she lived how does she hit her head and knock out and the walkers don't eat her how does that happen well she air quoted because i'm sorry i know by this if you watch the show that comes on after you could

clearly tell it's a girl whatever clear subterfuge um i uh like Knowing what we know now after watching it, how awesome this episode was. Yeah. Why would you open it with a sequence of someone we don't care? We don't give a crap about. Well, because they want us to care about her. I don't give a crap about it. They want us to care about it.

I don't give a crap that she's losing her hearing. She's a B-level character. I'd rather see, start it with the B-level character that I love. Jerry. They have an opening sequence with Jerry. All about it. I'll watch the heck out of that. But I don't care about this.

Right. AMC. Don't know it. A lot of people do, I think, though. I think so, too. I think so, too. She's the new upcoming superstar. I don't know. We just talked about her signing a new deal with, I don't know if it was Marvel or DC,

but she's going to be in one of the superheroes. So she's the new up. She is going to be the new upcoming superhero. Which means that she will also probably be dying very soon because they won't be able to pay for her. Right. Her. Why do you keep air quoting that?

It's actually kind of funny. I know how expensive it is to always carry around hand people to speak for you. Yeah. But like I said, like we've talked about before, that actress is actually partially death. I know. And hand people have to follow her around all the time. Interesting. Yeah.

You keep giving in to the lies and propaganda. I know. I got the truth. But you have to admit that hog killing scene was good. No. I thought it was. I like nothing about that scene. I like the hog.

That was about it. I kind of enjoyed that. I'm a slingshot fan. I have a new Slingshot fan. I am a Slingshot fan. I love this. It's quiet, although it doesn't matter to her,

because she can't hear it anyway. But how does she live through that? Seriously, I get back to that now. How does, and another thing that happened during this episode, now that we're on things that I find, I know we're supposed to, we're supposed to let go of reality.

Yeah. When we watch the show, that's part of the enjoyment of the show, letting go of reality. But how in the world are we cutting open walkers from the whisperers, right? Gamma is gutten walkers and poisoning the waterway, which seems a little stupid, by the way,

because the whisperers have to drink water too. I don't quite understand that. Anyway, that's another one. But how is it that gamma later in the show cuts her hand? And I would put a band-aid on it. You're not going to get sick. You're fine. We don't have to cut your hand off or anything.

You're fine. You're going to be okay. Here's the thing. With the dirty knife that she's been gutten walkers with, I don't understand. I'll put emphasis on that. They did focus on the cut a little more than you, they usually would. I think she will get sick in later episodes. Okay.

I hope so. I hope that makes her sick. I think that'd be cool too. Yeah. I was wondering the same exact thing. Because we both, we all know that the sickness doesn't, if you get cut with it, like remember when when Negan tried it, you don't get sick. sick right off the bat. It takes time.

Okay. So then we get the Alexandrian kid. Oh, with the kid from the Seen by the lake and then. The kid that from his dad was one of the Saviors. One of the saviors. Tremendous. Yeah. Tremendous.

This guy, and I put this in it and we were texting. It was like this guy is basically us. We're just like, man, it'd be cool to hang out with Negan and I want to see him Neegan out. you know, like, but then. I love,

you do he's going to die. You know he's dead. You know he's dead. You cannot put up with this at all. That's just not going to happen, right? But the fan boy stuff was tremendous. So first we had to meet him like, like, don't try anything.

And then Negan just gives him like this dead glare. Oh, dude, I'm just messing with you. That went there was like, you might as well just put him on death row. Right. He did. He put himself on death row. wrote for that. He really did. And Deegan

will still let him off the hook a little bit, but he couldn't take it. It was fantastic. We found out right there, so he wasn't the one that let him out. So we're still kind of looking at that with that mystery. Right. I still think it's Gabriel. I think. I think so too. But who is, who is it? Okay, so it was,

was Judith at the, Alexandria at the time? No, she was with Michone going. Right. Right. That's right. Because I thought it would be her to save him. But if she She wasn't there. But Gabriel was surprised when he was gone. Well, he was surprised when he told. He acted surprised.

But we saw him walk into the cell and see him by himself be surprised. Why would him by himself be surprised that Negan's gone if he let him out? For the camera. The same reason they're trying to hide the fact that Homegirl is a traitor. Thank you. I mean, come on. Clear. Yeah, I know.

That's a great point. So it's got to be, so it can't be Gabriel, right? If we go by that. I don't remember that scene. I don't remember him opening the door and saying Negan was gone, but I don't remember ever seeing him walk into the cell.

Walk into the cell? Yeah, I don't remember that. I don't remember that scene. The only thing I remember him saying is him just opening up and I think he was talking to Darryl. Yeah, he's gone. Yeah, he's gone. I was like, yeah, no kidding,

because you're the one that let him out. I'll show you the scene after we're done recording. Right. So anyway. I don't know that it matters, really, who let him out now? Nah. I mean, maybe on a smaller level. Politics later on down the line, maybe.

Because they'll probably be advocate for him to be accepted. Then as they're walking, he's tries to do doing the whistle. Yeah, I mean, he's a good fan boy all along. Now, this was a good scene when he was mentioning the sanctuary, Rick, and Carl. Oh yeah, when he talked about cutting his hand off and shooting Carl and Negan was not having any of that. Yeah, you knew where that conversation was going right from the get-go. Right.

And he loved Carl and then he kind of, they made it so the new kid, we're jumping ahead into the episode, I know, but they made it so that when they finally met up with the lady and the kid, the kid was kind of Carl-esque to Negan. Yeah. Told him the flight story. Talk to him about the ball tapping. I love the way he talks.

Like, he talks to you like your, like, older, unappropriate uncle would talk to, like, your kids. You know, when you're like, dude, don't say that, you know, or don't tell him that. Don't show him how to do that. With little sausage fingers like that, come on. You don't say that, come on. But this is Negan, so.

I know you do. And here's the thing, he was a coach, too. So I, a lot of, some people were always, I saw some people talking about, why is Neegan always great with kids? Yeah, because, right, he's the teacher, which the backstory we never got from him, which we might get this season. We might. Yeah, maybe. I don't think we need it now.

I mean, his, he's pretty much, it was, it's nice to see Jeffrey Dean Morgan controlling the screen for Walking Dead. Yeah. It is nice with that, no question. When he pulled out out of his backpack of the gifts, I was like, how in the hell was this stuff there was going through an old like, you know, storage shed and found this stuff. Like, what? So, no. Okay, so no. It was the jacket.

How do you not just burn all that stuff? No, it was the jacket because the jacket was in an old shed. I think it was in his dad's old shed, but I could be wrong on that. But the bat wasn't actually Lucille. It was just a bat that he had personally wrapped in barbed wire for an Egan. That's what I was wondering. Well, you know that for a fact? Yeah, they even said this isn't the, on the show that comes out after, this isn't Lucille.

Okay, that makes sense. Two seal, as the, as a Hardwick called it, two seal. Who? Hardwick. I don't know who that is. I'm kind of glad it's not because I wanted the reveal of that to be cooler. Yeah, they had a loose seal, it would have to be this big reveal. Yeah.

Yeah. Right. I know. But, you know, eventually he at least enjoys a little bit of the fruits of the bat. Yeah. It feels good with having the bat in his hand. Yeah. You know.

And then we have Then we go to Hilltop We've spent a lot of time at Hilltop Back and forth with Hilltop. Oh, come on, Hilltop. The Hilltop scenes weren't bad. Well, so we had the lover's quarrel. I mean, you had to be happy with the lover's quarrel.

I'm fine with that. I'm probably fine with that, I guess. They just shouldn't have been together to begin with. Angela King, you should have known better. Even though they both together in the comics. You bring in a hot tattoo chick, you should automatically just free her up as part of my squad.

Right? But you're just being known by now. I know. Oh, yeah. But even though she was with her in the comics, just like, no, but that's not that's, come on. Old, old hat now. Yeah.

We're talking about today's world. Oh, and they. We'll get to it. We'll get to that. We'll get to that. Because just know that when the fight started, when she realized that your girl was on guard duty and things went missing, she went to talk to her and she was listening to country music. Yeah.

Huh. Interesting. how she was listening to country music. Do you know it? I don't even remember. Oh. But you know, remember what we talked about, the possibility of

of Beta being a country star. Oh, ha. You know that song was Ryan Hurst. That song was Ryan Hurst singing. Are you serious? Yeah. Oh, just make it that. How?

Come on. Come on. So you know there's no way that they could tell that he's the superstar our country music singer with that mask on. Oh my gosh. You were right.

I thought they would go with the bad. I honestly think he was right because I thought they would go with the comics and make him the basketball star. No, they're trying to wear it because remember the albums were from fear. We did. We need to look at that. I know. Daniel was the one that dropped the albums and they made such a focal point of zeroing in on the albums on the road.

Yeah, we're going to have to find the screenshot of that. Absolutely. That's so funny. Did they reveal that in the, uh, with Chris Hardwick after? Yeah. They said that that voice of him sounds familiar.

And Hardwick goes like, I don't know the show. I don't know what's coming ahead. But he was like, I'm like piecing together a puzzle here. That's hilarious. That's so great. But you know what? But on that whole thing with that lover's quarrel. Yeah.

That's just more Angela King Bullcraft. Yeah, that's for sure. But they're trying to set up, you know, like the stuff is going missing from Hilltop. And this couple really is a couple of. of convenience, right? But not really. And they've been together in the show's timeline for 13 years. Right.

But we know that, you know, we find out that she was in prison. We already knew that. And she, you know, but the, the looks, you know, she never felt comfortable. They were just, it was. That wasn't the other reason, too. A couple of convenience. Do you know what the other reason, too? What was it?

Because for these past 13 years, as we know, Yumiko was Magna's lawyer. Right. Right, right, right. Yeah. Okay. So. she was trying, she was her defense attorney during the court case. She thought she was innocent.

And for these 13 years they've been together, she has always thought she was innocent. She, and then she revealed in this episode, she actually did commit that crime. So she would have been lying to her for 13 years. It wasn't, and then when Magna said, oh, how many people have we killed? It doesn't matter anymore. The more, it was more hurt of Yuma Co that Magna had been lying to. were for 13 years. And these are the days of our lives. And yes, I was having an affair with the maid.

And the maid, my sister? The maid is also my sister. So you've been having a fair with my sister? She says, stop. As blood through the walkers. Yeah. These are the days of our lives. That's so good. I don't care. If you want to reveal this stuff, fine. Let's do it another way. I just don't care. Okay, then we have a, then we have a Darrell and Connie. Yeah, I mean, look. I thought their scenes were actually really good. But again, days of our live stuff, right?

Okay, what do you think of Darryl and Connie? It's days of our live stuff. I think it's forced relationship. Yeah. Really? They want there to be, I guess the show would seem fake without some kind of relationships budding. But I don't know.

I don't know. It's such a barrage at this moment with, the, you know, Rosita and that whole thing and then the Magna thing and then Daryl's hooking it up and then the king and the carol. It hasn't been confirmed. It hasn't been confirmed yet. It seems

like everyone is in some kind of lover's spat or something going on. Luke and his chick. I mean, it's not stop. Oh, come on. You liked Luke and his chick. I know that. You kind of like that. Well, but again, these are all just, you know, you're trying to make life. You're trying to pretend like life is

getting back to what it once was or at least a semblance of what it once was. And these are relationships out of convenience, right? I mean, it's like if you had to live with who you're in a bar with for the next 10 years, somebody in the bar, if you're finally after five or six years, like, okay, fine, come here, we're together. Right, right. Okay, you know what? I'm gay now.

Okay. Okay, come here. Get over here. You have to admit, though, that was a pretty good scene when Daryl was telling Connie about his story about Merle. Yeah, but again, another days of our lives. Right. Like, Daryl, if you want to show that he's moving on into his life, a relationship should

be, like, in the background. Oh, yeah, he's hooking up with Homegirl. You know what I mean? Like, that's how it is. Right. Or every once in a while he comes out of her house, you know, or something like that or vice versa. It shouldn't be, like, a major plot point that they're, like, exploring, because that's not who Daryl is.

Right. Like, he's an ass kicker. And that's what we want from him. And we've seen that quite a bit this season, too. That's all I want to see from him. Literally, that's all I like getting to see more of his personality, though, because we all the time see him ass kicking, and then just a little semblance of his actual, like, personality outside of ass kicking. That's good.

I mean, I don't, I personally don't like soap operas, but I can go to daytime TV for that. Then, Not with Daryl, my friend. Not with them. And I do like, I do like, Blacksmith Earl, stepping up a little bit saying,

you know what you're talking about. He's, yeah, you know what you're talking about. I've been here forever. He's borderline dushy status at this point. He is, I know.

He's just the guy that's always in the background going, you know, like poking people. You know what I mean? And trying to get people out of up. Yeah. I'm over here making swords for you. You don't know what you're talking about.

Sure, the tree just fell. You know what you're talking about. I gotta go make a sword. Well, his wife did get beheaded and spiked. Yeah, I know. That's exactly who he is, though. That's exactly who he is. They like serve food, and it's great.

And he's like, oh, it's so great. He's like the Debbie Downer. Nobody wants me to be the leader. You could agree with him going like, like him saying, you have to watch out because this is definitely them. Well, he's right. But the point is that he's just the guy that, Yeah.

Nobody wants me to be leader, but I should be the leader. I'm making these damn swords for people. Yeah, the steak is good, but it's over-cooked. Then what else did we get? No matter. My weapon on your stump arm isn't good enough. Oh, we need to mention Negan's Walker. We need to mention Negan's Walker kills.

Just his Walker kills. We'll get to Noggin, too, because we've got to get to, we've got to get to Negan toward the end, too, which was, I mean, it was a, it was a great Negan episode. from beginning to end. But then we have, before we get to Negan and the bus people, and then just new people just show up out of nowhere. Between all these things that have happened

all these years, and we still find, I find it, I know when we're supposed to let go of our, we're just supposed to disbelief. That's pretty believable that new people would be walking around. Really?

Yes. It is? Yes. They just show up in the area, that we're walking around in that's been covered for years by saviors, by Wispers, by Rickians,

all of us. Rikians? Hilltopians. I mean, all of it, the kingdom of Indians. The kingdom's destroyed now, so. Yeah, but it wasn't for a long time. And now all of a sudden we've got, we've got the lady and her kid

that nobody knows is just showing up. Okay. Okay. All right. All right. Okay, but anyway, What were you saying? All right.

But then we have the, you know, the king with his cancer problem. Yeah, that was interesting, seeing the king with knowing the king has cancer. He better name that bad boy because that sucker's huge. Like, that's Harry. The king and Harry. Remember me the king and I. Thyroid cancer. So now he's got thyroid cancer.

King and Harry and Jerry. Dang. I mean, he's not even, that's what's killing him, though, right? I mean, literally. But he has, you know, he's got the cancer. He's not the king anymore. He lost his kingdom. and you saw him go break into a little bit of the king

when Sadiq tried to touch him. Unhand me. Did he say that? No. No, he just slapped him and said, I'm saying, I'm saying. Don't touch it. No, that was more of his real self because he just went, I said I'm fine, man.

It was more of, it was falling back into being the king for me. Remove thine hands. Unhammed. We need more of that king, though. I love that. I love his play stuff. You could put him in charge of something. Let him be the king.

Come on. Let him in charge of something. And here's the thing. The king's on borrowed time. So that's surprising that they gave him cancer. Well, somebody's going to cure him, right? Is he going to die? You think we lose the king?

I mean, it's about time. We haven't lost anybody in a long time. Yeah, we did the Pikes. That was last year. We were five episodes in. We still got death people passing out and feel the walkers and living. When a walker was grabbing her by the floor. Right.

It wasn't throwed. It was like right. It was. Okay. Max. Details, man. They are important. Gosh.

There was no body around there, was it? So they didn't show if she like suddenly snapped out of it and killed the thing. Well, that's what we have to assume that she did, right? I mean, they were going after the hog and this one walk comes after her. We have to assume that she snapped out of it enough to run away and then fall and get knocked out and, you know, be safe. suspend reality just a little bit. Suspended reality. But then we have the king talking with Sadiq.

Yeah, that was all part of his, you know, cancer crap and being the king again. And of course, Sadiq talking a little about his PTSD. Okay. And we're back to days of our lives. Yeah, I'm like, whatever. Can we get back to the Nigen scenes, please? Which is I love the, as when he was talking to the kid, too,

back to him talking to the kid. And they're talking about, you know, he does his airplane. I felt like Niggins should have had the kid's toy airplane when he was talking about taking off and stuff. The only thing that I felt was wrong with that scene when he was talking to the kid about air travel. The kid had that toy airplane. I feel like he should have.

And then you rubble out to take off and you're in the air. I feel like he should have that. Anyway, the whole scene was great. But I did like where he was talking about with the... The ball tap. The nut tapping. And he's those sausage fingers like, you. You got,

you'd have to Royed up or anything. He'd just be the king of it. That's so great. I love how he talks to kids. So good. It doesn't hold back. And we had,

when we talked about Gamma getting the bandages from Aaron, Aaron kind of trying to, you know, as dushy as he's been, is he trying to, you know,

be the old Aaron and infiltrate the whisperers a little bit without anybody knowing? I don't know. I don't know either. Like, it doesn't make sense

for him to want be like reaching out to them after that's what he used to do right that's what he did forever prior to prior to be you know losing his arm and stuff that's what he that's what he did he went out and searched for new people and tried to bring people in right but then he went all hardcore right could you know pushed out nighan right like nigan is given you reason i think to say okay maybe we should be a little bit more lenient maybe he's the one that said niggin free that's an interesting theory that is a pretty good theory hmm i don't know he did save us a life. He voted to get rid of him, but that gives him an alibi.

Right. He voted to get rid of him, but he said at the same time, he said that, you know, he was, you know, definitely, I forget what his line was, but it was that Negot had saved him, you know. Yeah. So, but he could have done it. Interesting. Then, yeah, but again, I think that's only going to become important once he comes back. And then, of course, you know, I love, and Alpha, instead of being mad at Gamma says, we're going to use that to our advantage, right? You start wearing a different mask so he doesn't know who we are. Keep this mask so he knows who you are.

We wear a different mask and then we can use that to our advantage, which is a good move on her part. Oh, then we had the little, then earlier in the episode we had the confirmation when they were talking about their change in strategies and we get full confirmation. They were the ones that knocked down the tree. We already had confirmation. And yes, they are the ones sending in the clips of hordes. Of course, but we do that. We didn't know that per se, but now it's confirmed. So Gamma was on the wrong side of the border?

No. I don't know if she was on the wrong side of the border, but she was the one that, you know, she was out poisoning the water way, right? So that must have been the wrong side of the border. No. So were they both standing on their right sides of the border at that point?

Yeah, they were because the border is the middle of the bridge. And she was on this side, she was on one side of the bridge. She was on the other. Or at least one side of the creek. Yeah. I guess the creek. But not when he saw her, though.

Now when he snuck up on her, when he snuck up on her, then he was on the wrong side. I don't think so. There was no creek in between him. I think the creek is the border. I know that. You said that, but when he was in the bushes looking at her, he wasn't. He was on the same side. No, no, she was right in the creek where he was over.

Don't shake your head behind him. Like, you know, no. He was right over here. And besides, the Whispers are technically allowed on our side of the border. We're not allowed on their side. It wasn't a two-way street. It wasn't a two-way street. That's a good question.

Is that right? Yeah, that's right. It was never a two-way street. That's what kind of what I was getting at with pointing that out is like it's shows how the relationship right. Like our heroes are giving them everything. Yeah. You know what I mean? There's like no consequences for them doing whatever they do.

And that's kind of what's got Carol pissed, right? Carol's like, what are you doing? Yeah. What's going? out here. You can do everything you want. If we screw up even in just a little bit, you take all of our land. I mean, this is stupid. Here's an idea, no.

Then we had Alpha kill that one whisper. Well, I mean, that was great because Alpha didn't kill her. She let she said, that was just a couple of slices and it's a wonderful thing about the body. Oh, Beta. Yeah. I know you wanted to do this earlier. Go ahead.

Yeah, he like, that was a crazy kill too, because he like severed, it looked like he severed his spine from the back. Because they don't want to this would hurt the mask Yeah that's true That was cool It was just a cool kill I was like thank you

We saw that we saw the early The training of the making of the mask Do the ears are the hardest That was in the episode Yeah early when she was watching the one guy The ears are the hardest part That's right That's so morbid

It sure is It sure as heck is We don't know why The Diggleberry's your girl Was stealing from Hilltop though right It was just her secret stash we do so magna and kelly out of the new group that came into hilltop were the only ones that knew about the stash right connie didn't as we found out she apparently had been stealing them because she didn't specifically trust darrell that's what she told them but probably other people too she didn't trust them so she was stealing from them and had a stash just in case of an escape plan okay

why the heck is connie like sliding into mayor of hilltop no that's umico er yeah yeah but who's Connie Connie's the death death one okay oh yeah yeah yeah yeah youma umic no whatever why is she sliding into the cospler of Yumico why she's sliding into Maggie's position I think they just

she was just the one that took power right she's a former attorney Earl's making swords I gotta just gonna do it where you want I don't care who's in charge you're gonna do it anyway Maggie's gone I don't care I gotta make

this spike. My wife died. With a kid, too. And, okay, then who would you rather have? Because the king isn't up to anything. I can't drink anymore. I used to be able to drink any, I can't drink booze anymore. Screw it.

Ezekiel isn't able to. You're making me work with this savior punk. I'm over here, I can't do anything. Ezekiel isn't trying to, Ezekiel isn't trying to lead anymore. How are we, who else is supposed to take over? Oh, God. Right. I know.

Somebody's got to take the bull by the whole. Someone that's been there for a while? But who? Really? Like, okay, any one of us would be like, who the heck is this British-shunding? No, there's no question. Yeah, no. I mean.

Like, let's have someone that has been there from the old days. They've actually fought for this place, bled for it. We're steer through Nigen. And we have, that's kind of a Michone Alexandria thing, right? Where they would have said, you know what? You're going to be at church. You're in charge now. You know, cosplayer Yomico.

You can help out, but you're not in church. They went from not trusting them. You know, like barely even. them in. To now, they even still feel that, like, that lack of trust, so they're planning escape, you know, escape options. Right. No, but let's point their leader as our leader.

Right. That was Alexandria doing that. Alexandria and Hilltop do have different governing systems. Huh? Alexandria and Hilltop do have different governing systems. Alexandria was the one that wouldn't trust them. Hilltop trusted them. No, but you already said that, but Amagma was taking stuff out because she didn't trust them.

Yeah, she didn't trust them. but Hilltop did somewhat. But the people that were there before them shouldn't have put them in charge. That's the point. Well, they didn't normally put them in charge. She just kind of took the bull by the horns. And again, we're back to why would you let that happen?

I mean, Earl would have put a spike in her head. Hey, go over here and take a look at what I'm making, Dad. This is for you. Tell me what to do. I told you who pushed the damn tree down. Did he just became one of our favorite? I think so. I think I like him.

Look out Jared. I think I like him. I think Earl's my new man. I can't wait until next season. I know. I just want to see his lines down. I always expect him in the background and go, Oh, yeah.

I love him. Then we had, okay, are we going to get to Negan? Well, okay. We'll just wrap it up with Negan. Egan was nice to see him finally get pushed to the brink from the kid. Right? And the kid, the kid is crazy, whacked out of his mind. Negan is going to try to help the lady and the kid get to Hilltop as close as he can get them.

without, you know, obviously being noticed. And the kid, he kicks the kid out. Now, I want to see you anymore get out here. And the kid thinks it's a test to come back, you know, because he's crazy, right? I mean, he's just whacked out of his mind. He's a Negan fanatic. And, you know, to kill him.

And you knew, I mean, he was already dead and Negan tried to let him off the hook by kicking him out. And then when he came back and killed them, I mean, that was just, that was the pushing over the limit. Now, it was enjoyable to see Negan kill him but by putting the jacket on and picking up the bat it kind of meant that he was back to be in Negan, right? Right, and I got the sense of this entire episode

that he was trying to fight. Yes, who he was. Who he is? Yes. Yes, yes. Remember from the get-go when he pulled out the jacket and pulled out the bat, he was like, you know, that's bull crap.

Like, you know, he was like, I don't want to be recognized. Shut up. You didn't care about that. He didn't not picking up the bat. Like, yeah, it's, it's true. freaking Negan. I don't care if he's wearing a leather jacket, you're recognizing him. Right. He just didn't want to become that dude again. Right. And then I think the next kind of step up when he first met him in the, when he went to save them in the bus. Yeah.

Bashed his head in. Yeah. A little bit too much fun, I think, doing that. Yeah, well, the other one, the other one was the stepping on the head. When he decapitated that Walker with the barbed wire. Yeah, with the barbed wire. Yeah. Thanks for the help back there. Yeah. I mean, that was already, that was another death warrant for the kid. Yeah, yeah, right? When he just, we just let Negan fight on his own. What are you doing back there? Why?

It's over here. No, he was like, I was rapping your gift. So, I mean, so when he, when he killed him, that's when he finally, he took it upon himself that he's. That was a great look, Jeffrey Dean Morgan did, though, and he was just pissed at the kid, and he was just walking to him and picks up the rock. Yes, no question. And, you know, walks off and then, of course, you know, Little Pig, Little Pig. He's out there because he wants to kill some walkers

and he wants to see because he crossed the border. And he did it all purpose. And he wanted to, you know, get, let's find the whispers. Let's see what I'm doing here. And Beta pushes him down instead of killing him, right? Beta pushes him down. Let's do this. That's the end.

Beta and the Whisperers walking Negan back to their base blindfolded to the Whisperer's base so they know who he is right I mean for some I mean there was no way they don't know who he is

they don't or Beta how is that possible that Beta doesn't kill him then it was like that in the comics too like they they explain it by he killed them then he pushes him down and they're trying to figure out who this guy is because they don't know he is a part of our group. Really?

Yeah. Crazy. They never knew about Negan until after this. He's been in prison. I mean, that's true. But I think they feel like they would, that's why I don't understand why Beda just wouldn't kill this guy walking on their property.

It doesn't, I don't know. But the scene of them walking Negan back is fantastic. He's kind of hard to tell underneath the outfits. I want to join, all right? I am a joiner. Get me a damn application all that.

He's blindfolded being walked with the whispers. Look at you guys. All right, cool ass outfits. The whole back-to-nature paleo vibe, you are a survivalist wet dream, not to mention the number one selling point. No more being eaten by the dead. I just out of curiosity because it's killing me.

This is. The comic books go. This is like exactly what happened in the comics. And Negan, next episode, better give Beta his nickname for him. which is frowny mc2 knives there's their frowny mctoon knives over there so so wait so what's the test basically putting him through what whisperer life is like

putting Negan through that ooh I don't think that's going to go well is it right right he likes his luxuries I do he had like 20 wives I mean come on so in the comic books Well, we're wrapping up this episode of Talking Walking Dead.

We might agree with you. So go ahead. You ready? My prediction is that within these next three episodes, it could be next episode, the episode after, or the midseason finale, Alpha will die. I hope you're right. I hope you're right, too. I'm going to say midseason finale, because that's just a perfect way to go off. I know, but it's three weeks.

You thought she was going to last all season. I do, but they've really, originally I thought she would last all season. But we've really sped up here in the last couple episodes. right. I mean, we've sped that timeline up. And we've got to get rid of Michone. Mishone was nowhere to be found in this episode. And she's guys will go away. Right? I don't know when.

Is she just gone now? I mean, we don't know that, but I'm just... She's going to Oceanside, so... Nah, they can only afford one big name actor per... Agreed. So it's like, that's who they're highlighting. Which also goes to show you that they are escalating because if it's two back-to-back-negan episodes?

I know. With alpha and beta? That's expensive. You aren't lying in it. But you know what? I'm not complaining. No? Yeah, no, I'm not either. But that is my prediction.

Alpha will die within the next three episodes by decapitation. Now, according to our Facebook, our Facebook joiner, Justin, who's a joiner. He's slightly confused about the ending. Did Reform Negan flip and turn into Old Negan? Because if so, then there's no way he would go into the Whisperers area without a thought, without a thought-out plan. Right? Mm-hmm. So is that what in the comic books, that's what he's doing, right?

Yeah, what happens in the comics? I don't want to give too much away. Well, that's what we have you here for. Okay, fine. He goes in there with the plan of, I'll see what these guys are like. I'll see exactly what he was like in this part, in the end of this episode. And he goes through the tests, and he's like, this isn't bad, okay? And he actually really likes Alpha.

He loves her pretty much. Like, first time he meets her in the comics, he goes, you must be Alpha, and I am in love. If that happens next episode, I'll love it. But what happens, too, is we actually, Negan gets to see the culture of the whispers as well, and that's what starts to turn them off them. He's like, crap, these guys are crazy. Yeah, it's whacked out of their mind. He tries to actually convince. He tries to convince Alpha,

hey, what you're doing is wrong. You can't do this. You know what would be nice? I don't know, a sofa. And you want to know the best part? He gets through to her. He is one of the only people to actually get through to Alpha.

And she's starting to agree with him. And as she agrees with him, he cuts her head off. Yeah, because he gets close enough. He gets close enough and she feels comfortable enough. And he realizes she's too crazy to change, really. Have a nice day.

That makes sense. All right. So next episode. Wait, you had something to say? I was just going to say, I hope they add a little more depth to it. Oh, they definitely will. I think it'd be nice if he, like, maybe his connection with Judith or something like that. Well, another thing, there's a, there's the main, the main reason why he also refused to stay with the whispers is because, uh, they allow rape.
