Season 10, episode 7 of the Walking Dead, titled Open Your Eyes.
And that means it's time for you to open your ears because it's talking walking dead.
Welcome to it, Talking Walking Dead with myself, Jeff Fisher, Jason Butchell, and Maximus Fisher.
Episode description on IMDB, Carol pushes boundaries that make Daryl uneasy.
Alpha and Beatty.
I call him Beatty.
Bady. He's my new guy, Elf and Bady.
Elfa and Beda have reservations about someone.
Okay.
Okay.
Jason?
What did you think?
I was ecstatic.
Maximus? What did you think?
I thought it was a pretty good episode.
I wanted it to be.
I wanted it to be.
It was okay.
It was okay.
The ending picked up a little bit of pace, but I, you know,
after a couple of weeks of Negan,
I felt like
we slowed down.
Yeah.
Well, sure.
Those are hard to...
It's hard to keep that going on.
Sure.
Yeah.
So you knew that the next episode
without him was to be a down episode.
But, I mean,
I,
I mean,
we were talking earlier.
I've been secretly
planning little character assassinations
for months now.
And I've got a list.
And I can cross one of those bad boys off.
Mission freaking accomplice.
Just made the list.
So before we get to who got crossed off, we had still even started out for the PTSD.
Yeah, that's ridiculous.
It's like I didn't care.
I don't want to see that.
It's dumb.
It was done stupid plotline.
I think it was done best this episode than the other episodes.
I think the PTSD thing was actually done best this episode.
Yeah.
But I mean, even...
That still doesn't make it good.
There's a buffet of crap.
You know, even the best crap on that buffet is still crap.
So Carol still had the prisoner, and we were going to question the prisoner.
And, you know, of course, they got him back, and Gabriel is, you know, mad about the, bringing the prisoner in.
And we have to make sure he's okay first.
And this isn't going to sit well.
He's on the list.
He's on the list.
He's on the list.
Including Michaud.
Carol Carol's like, he bleeds till he talks.
Dude, this is the Carol we love.
I know.
During that, I was like, dang, savage Carol's back.
Love it, man.
That's not saying.
I was noticing that.
What was that?
Two episodes ago or whatever.
I said the same thing.
It's like, this is what I want to see for.
Yes.
This.
Yes.
And we got, we did get, we did get happiness, all the hotness of Daryl and his scars with a shirt off.
And dog.
And dog.
What was that?
What you mean?
It was just looking at Daryl.
Darrell's hotness.
Is that what that was where I was like,
we know he's been tortured.
I mean, come on.
Whatever.
We had to see the scars,
and we had to see Daryl shirtless and hugging the dough.
It's an odd scene.
And he's looking at his double set acorn.
Oh,
by the way,
do you know,
metaphorical?
Don't ask me what.
I'll go farther down that road if you want.
Do you know who directed this episode, by the way?
Ben,
Ben, or what's his name?
Abraham.
Yeah, Abraham.
Mike Cuddless, yeah.
You know, look, it was fine.
You know, we got barely
any Mishone at all, right?
I mean, she's disappeared.
No, we know where she was going.
Yeah.
No, we know where she's at, but I mean, it's just weird
that they don't.
We got nothing from her, yeah.
Again, my biggest complaint, stop
with this. I know.
You know, main character is just going away
for multiple episodes.
I know. Stupid.
And it's clearly budget
We always say that, but that's got to be what it is.
It's got to be what it is, right?
It has to be.
It has to be.
And I liked the Carol and Lydia, their first little talk where, you know, Lydia was talking about how her mom twists people and how exactly what we talked about, how the idea of what they have at Alexandria and at Hilltop is such a bad idea, right?
Yeah.
The whispers, when they were outside, they're looking at, like, wait,
They got food?
They got, I mean, they're sleeping on something other than dirt?
Yeah.
Oh, we actually found out, too, through Lydia, that the guy Carol captured was a horde,
was one of the horde watchers.
Right.
And, you know, look, he wasn't going to tell her anything.
And I knew I was really surprised that he even took a bite of the, you know, the bread and the jams and the jellies and stuff because he was so good.
and then Carol kept talking.
Carol talked herself out of him being happy and talking to her,
you know, by saying it's really good, isn't it?
Because then he realized it is,
and I don't want anything to do with you people.
She pushed a little bit too hard.
Yeah.
She should have just let him enjoy it.
Then you had him.
But she just kept pushing and pushing and pushing.
And then he spit it out right in her face.
Of course.
Yeah, I mean, because he didn't.
No.
No, I'm not going down this road with you.
You're darn right.
It's good, but it's not good enough because I'm,
I'm a whisperer, and I'm just like my man Beattie or Beda, said, you know, you're full.
De Nagan, you're full, you're weak.
That's what makes you that, right?
But you knew once he spit that in her face.
You know you just done screwed up.
It's on.
Yeah, it's going to another level.
It's odd.
He talks till he bleeds till he talks.
Yeah.
Absolutely.
And then she was just like jamming her thumb into that wound that he had.
Oh, so good.
And then she put on her a ring.
It's so good.
And what was his comment right after that?
Like, it was pretty crude.
It was something along the lines of,
you would be the one that I would mount.
You know, you have spirit.
I was like, what?
You know you should probably shut up.
That was the time, bro.
Yeah, now is the time.
Shut up.
But that's the Whisperer's culture.
The strong survive.
And if you're not,
and if you're not strong enough to fend off a person
trying to take advantage of you,
you're not strong. That's their culture.
Right. And, you know, he's never, you know, he's never going to betray Alpha, you know, that.
And they knew that they had him when he said that she, Alpha sacrificed her own daughter.
And they were like, no, it's going to screw them all up.
Yeah, that was good.
That's going to be a big thing, I believe.
We'll get back to that.
I think we will, yeah, because I think I have a theory about what's going to happen there.
Because we find out that, you know, after Air,
Aaron tries to build up a little rapport like he always does with people like he did forever.
Like we talked about, that's what he did.
That's how he met Rick and the gang with Gamma.
And they're just hanging out on the bridge, talking, and he's trying to, you know, win.
And they're both playing each other, right?
It's like the Nazis and the Americans sitting at a bridge.
You know, they're both playing each other during the war.
Yeah.
Right?
Because she's working for Alpha and he's working for us.
And we're both trying to get inside each other's heads.
and so then, you know, then they realize, then she takes off and we have the, you know, the prisoner dies by accident from Dante.
And then, you know, Gamma's back with Alpha, we're whisking it up.
Oh, the switch scene?
Yeah, I mean, holy cow.
And I like, and plus Alpha is so good at that with doing it with the mask.
off.
She can see their face.
She wants to see that face
and see the pain that it inflicts and see
that, you know, that's
the line, right?
You're keeping them in line and keeping them
walking that hardcore.
And then we find out, you know, that we go back
to PTSD stuff with...
Oh, we finally actually see
how they got beheaded, which I was
happy about.
And how they, you know, how they held
Sadiq down and made it watch.
Well, actually, at first, we thought
Sadiq was just there,
watching and he couldn't turn away.
But then we find out later he was being held.
Well, yeah, but I mean, he wouldn't, if you're there with your crew, you're not going to,
the only way that you're going to watch because she's, Alpha saying, look, is someone's
going to have to hold you, right?
You're not, you're not going to look, especially to his beloved Enid, the traitor.
Sadiq was all about Edid.
He really, we find out during the show that he was.
all, I mean, he was all,
Sadiq, I think,
wanted to do a little, you do business.
She was already with Alden.
And he, at the time, wasn't,
and at the time, he was already,
and at the time, he was, quote,
unquote, with Rosita.
Uh-huh.
You do realize.
That's why Rosita was sitting there
when he was talking about Edid,
like Rosita's like,
you realize you're talking to me, right?
You do also realize that
Enid was also helping him
because she was a nurse in training.
Yeah, I know.
that's what traders do.
As we find out later in this episode
with our man Dante.
Such a weird,
I mean, I guess we should have saw this coming.
Right?
I guess the only, because it was just so forced and weird.
I think what made it strange was that
he was just in the comics and correct me if I'm wrong, Max,
but he was just a completely different character.
Yes.
Like, he was like, wasn't he even like dating Maggie for a while?
He became one of Maggie's loving,
after Glenn, yes.
Oh, no.
So, just way out of left field.
I guess there were some theories running around the internet.
There were quite a bit of theories that he was, that he was a whisper.
There were a few, there were quite a few theories.
Some of them gained some popularity, but they didn't become huge.
Strange.
I don't know where they didn't get it.
So they were right, I know.
I guess just because the uneasy feeling about it, it was like every single scene was like, why are they doing this?
Some people thought Sadiq was a traitor, but we found out that wasn't true.
No, Sadiq wasn't a traitor.
Sadiq was just someone we shouldn't have.
I mean, Rick was right.
And Carl was, you know, it's because of Sadiq Carl's dead.
Right?
I mean.
That's why Chandler Riggs was on the show.
What show was that?
The show that comes on after.
Oh, yeah.
I don't know what show that is, but yeah, it was.
It was good to see him too.
And it must have actually just a side note of that.
Before we get, we'll get to that a little bit because what we find out
we find out at the end of this episode is that we perceive that the traitor Dante has killed
Sadiq and you figure that's the end of the episode right he's we've killed Sadiq and he's
said but and that's why that he was on the show that airs after uh which walking dead which by the
was not going to happen until I sent my script revisions.
So I am taking credit of this.
So you get the script revisions and you get the booking agent of the show that airs after.
For sure.
Yeah.
You know, and that scene, they were originally supposed to be playing poker.
And I was like, no, I don't think so.
Rewrite.
I got the new rewrit right here.
So poker my age.
So why is Sadiq on your assassin?
nation list.
Obviously.
But other than he was with Rosita.
That's all.
That's clearly the only reason why.
Someone calling?
Apparently so.
There's a phone.
Oh, you know what that is?
Just as a side note is we're recording talking walking dead.
Pat Gray, who I did Pat Unleashed with today, has his briefcase here.
Because he's in the studio working with Glenn today because Stu's up and that's his phone
ringing in his briefcase.
I predict he comes bounding in.
hearing a little bit. Not a chance.
The only people that call
that phone are telemarketer.
There's no other because
you call that phone, I'd never
expect him to answer ever.
They're bad. Telemarketer, this is completely
different. Okay, back to dead.
So anyway,
you know, it appears
that Sadiq is dead
at the end of the episode, right?
He is. Yes. Yes.
So we, and I loved where I was headed with the show that airs after they had Chandler Riggs on Carl with Sadiq.
And Sadiq, it's obviously his knight and he, you know, he's, it appears that, and I keep saying he appears for, and I'll get to that, that he died and they have Chandler on who died and they were together.
But Chandler is still obviously the huger star.
Huger, you can quote me on that.
The huger star.
Even, you know, Sadiq is playing
second fiddle to Carl
even last night.
It was really, I mean, you could just
me, as a fan, you could just feel it.
Yeah, I didn't watch.
It was really, you know, I mean, I like
Sadieke and everything.
Kind of.
That was a...
Get out.
Right now. Get out the door.
Okay, I'll at least tell you this.
I thought this was kind of funny on the show
that came on after during one of the commercial breaks
Hardwick was doing the
joke with Sadiq with
with all the jams and stuff
Do you want strawberry or like that
Like what Carol said to the prisoner
And then Sadiq said all
All of them
Oh okay
What would you like Chandler
Chandler's just there holding a bucket of pudding
Huh what?
Nice
Yeah
A pudding joke
Very funny
So anyway
We saw the
Preview
For next week
So I
I just watched one.
I don't know if it was the same one or not.
It was really quick, like a 20-second thing.
Okay.
Where it showed like Michone and...
Yep.
That's the same one.
That's the promo.
No, that's the promo.
Oh, okay.
So I didn't say...
We have three things.
There's the promo.
There's the sneak peek and then the opening minutes.
Right.
So that's been released so far for next week's mid-season finale.
One episode left this year.
I know.
It's gone by fast.
So the promo has Michone in it, right?
Michone, Judith.
Yeah, that was a dope scene.
Yes.
That's the one I saw.
So the opening minutes shows Alpha and Dante pre-Dante going into, get with the people.
It shows his infiltration.
Okay.
Her plan for him.
I have mixed feelings about that.
I hope they don't overly.
dwell on that for too long.
Right, I know.
Do they show how, is that quick?
Yeah, it's quick.
It's the opening segment.
It's the opening segment right before the intro.
And then they get off of it.
Hopefully.
Yeah, I know, hopefully.
The one thing, because I do think that that needs explanation.
And that works.
They need to show that because there's so many things that don't fit with that.
Like, if you really think about it.
Like, how come, what's her name, Lydia, doesn't recognize her?
I mean, recognize it.
They explain that.
They actually explain that in the opening minutes.
Okay, good.
They very much need to because I was like, that makes no sense.
She would know who this dude is.
But that's why.
They actually do explain that in the opening minutes.
So what was the explanation?
He's new.
Yeah, that's why it's him.
That's why she chooses him.
That's why she came after.
That's why she chose him to infiltrate because Lydia doesn't know him.
Interesting.
And that's why Gamma is why she has sent Gamma to mess with Aaron.
Because she's been there.
You know, she knows she's been there a long time.
And so she's, and it doesn't say this in the opening minutes.
I'm just going with this.
That's why she's, so she's got her spy in, and she's got Gamma trying to work Aaron.
So she's getting, you know, getting information from both sides.
Yeah.
Okay, so then Lydia takes off because she's angry, right?
She sees in the end there, at the end episode of this episode, Gamma freaks out when she sees Lydia.
and realizes that she's been had from Alpha, right?
And Lydia now realizes thinking that Carol has put her in a compromising position.
Shut up?
What are you talking about?
You knew you were out here.
The problem was she was mad at Carol for using her,
and that also she's been comparing, apparently, like, in Lydia's mind,
character-wise, she had been comparing Carol to Alpha quite a bit.
And if you think about it, they're kind of similar.
Yeah.
Yeah, they are.
I mean, they're still, you know, controlling women.
And Lydia, you know, obviously hasn't had time to be alone and contemplate life.
And so, uh, so she's going to run off.
Oh, remember.
This is where my theory comes in.
Okay.
So Max is a big believer that, uh, Alpha dies this episode.
This next episode.
I know, I am strict to it that Alpha will be beheaded by Nican next episode.
I'm saying no.
and I'm saying that I think now
that Lydia is going to be the one to kill Alpha
but not the mid-season
but Lydia is going to be the one to kill her mom
dang you think that
that's hardcore she's going to be the one that's going to be able to get close
right
if she kills Alpha
then
Beta can take over and not
feel like he has to go after Lydia
because Lydia will kill her and take off
So whether he sees it or whether he knows it's her or not, I don't know.
But he can still take over the whisperers and be okay without having to have retribution for her death
because it was her that killed her.
If it's Negan, if they know it's Negan, he can take over,
but he's got to go after Nigen for the retribution.
He can't just let that stand.
Right?
I just feel like that's where we're, I would love to, I want Negan to do it, no question.
But I think that in their mind, Lydia gets close to mom, can't take it.
I don't know.
Like Lydia, in my mind, can't go back to the whispers.
She wasn't because.
Well, no, no, no, but I'm with you.
But I'm just saying that she's going to, even her being out in the woods, you know, I mean,
Elfa's always out wandering around, like a lost puppy dog out there,
of sniffing around and charge everything.
It's interesting. I don't, if anything, I could see,
this might be a stretch, but I could see even Alpha killing, I mean, even Beta killing Alpha.
No, I can't see that.
I mean, I could see a, like, what if, because the Lydia thing now is going to be a virus
that's going to spread throughout their entire group.
Right.
Because the only ones who, you've got to silence Lydia quickly.
And I could see, I mean, we know Alpha is going to side with Lydia.
She always, that's why she's done everything.
So Beda is going to have to do something about this.
And that could be the last straw.
Like, this is all coming down.
And you know what?
I'll give you that if we go, because if he kills her,
then he can tell Lydia and Negan get out.
And if he kills her, the rest of the whispers can know he killed her.
That's right.
Because if he kills her, then we're like, I have, I have.
Yeah.
I don't know.
I could see that.
happening.
I like that.
I don't, but I don't, I don't, I don't, it works, but I don't want that to happen.
It does work.
What I want to happen is for Negan to manipulate Alpha like he does, because they, like,
Negan in the comics was the only one to really get deep into Alpha's skin.
So, so what, so how does he, how does he get her alone?
Because I'm, I'm curious that, that's how that whole, how it plays out.
So if it starts looking like that's happening, I can start cheering.
And getting ready for it?
Well, that was in a night scene, right?
Yeah, he kills her at night alone.
So why are they alone?
Why are they?
So the scene plays out by he's in the main camp.
He's sleeping with them, you know, normal.
Then he sees these two whispers trying to rape another whisper.
It's Negan.
What does he go do?
He goes run after them and tries to, and attacks them and screams at them for trying to rape.
person because he's fully against rape.
Beta knocks him out
and drags him out there alone
to sleep by himself.
Okay? Okay.
And then Alpha goes
to Negan to explain
to him about
the whole rape thing and why
they do it and everything. And then
they do have this whole conversation
about morality back and forth
on what Negan's done in the past,
how Alpha misses
her daughter, and a
stuff like that. And then as soon as Alpha says, maybe you're right, Negan slits her throat and
cuts off her head. Okay. So if there is, if there is an attempted rape scene, although I don't
know if AMC would do that. I know. They already did that once. When? When, remember, when,
when, uh, when, uh, Sasha was, uh, captured, one of the saviors tried to rape her. Oh, yeah. And
then Negan came in to stop it. That's right. Hmm. Was that pre-Me2 or after me,
after I think.
Oh, that's a good question.
I don't know.
They've changed a lot.
Like, it's been gradual.
Like, there was a very clear, like, line they wouldn't go across as far as violence was concerned.
Remember that?
The Me Too line is definitely, I mean, the AMC definitely follows that.
Yeah, for sure.
Yeah.
And the violent stuff, like, there was a lot less, like, gun violence, you know, after a while.
Like, it was just Hollywood bending to all that, you know, stupid crap.
But I don't know.
It's interesting.
I'll be on the lookout for that.
In any rate, even if they don't go there.
any like any scene where Negan disagrees with them and Beda, you know, knocks him out and takes him somewhere.
Right.
It's probably, yeah.
Yeah.
He's like, okay, here it goes.
It's like.
That would be, I'd be all ready for that.
I know.
Pause.
Let me get my popcorn ready.
Just like, like grab the popcorn.
No, imagine, imagine we see him knock him out, drag him out in the woods alone, and then it cuts the commercial.
We all go get our popcorn.
Put Twitter down.
Close my app for a little bit.
I just want to enjoy it on my own.
And I saw that.
And so anyway, so then, all right.
So then we have in the sneak peek for next week,
which aired on the show that comes on after.
And in that episode, in that sneak peek,
they show Rosita coming to find Sadiq.
And it was right after he supposedly had been murdered.
And Dante opens the door.
And they have this conversation,
he's not there.
He just left.
but in that sneak peek they show Sadiq on the floor and his eyes open as a walker yeah no yes no it was not as a walker it was just open his eyes he's that he's still alive no he's a walker no it was a walker you hear the growl
you hear the growl I know I didn't I'm deaf anyway so I must have missed the growl wait so so Rosita's alone
with him when he
Rosita's got the baby
Rosita's got Cocoa too
so she's got to take him out
I don't know
I don't know
you see you see Sadiq open his eyes
and go
well yeah he just
just coming around
from being strangling
he's got a walker yet
that wasn't a fast turn
he can't turn that fast
even in today's world
I'm sorry no
no he was not a walker
no
And what probably happened is that he's, I don't necessarily think he's a walker for sure.
There's no way he turned that fast.
But he could have, he could be just that last gasp of, you know, making that last gasp of life.
So the funeral scene where they treated, they treated.
They did treat it on the show that follows like he's done.
Yeah, because they had the in-memorium.
Because here's remember, remember Glenn and the whole dumpster situation?
Yeah, they never had a memorial.
They never had an in-memorium for Glenn until he got.
got his head bashed in.
Right. That's how you know a character is dead or not, if they
haven't a memoriam.
Right.
Plus, they already showed the, uh, the funeral scene for next, next week.
Or was that the whisper?
Why would they have a funeral for the whisper?
So that, so that Alpha would not know it wasn't a whisper.
Shut of that.
What are you talking about?
Figure it out, bro.
Oh, we forgot to, we forgot to mention the whole, uh, getting yourself out of a hole is to
stop digging.
Put the shovel down, Jeffey.
I thought it was, I thought it was, I thought it was pretty,
good actually. I thought I was already there.
But one thing you
we also kind of forgot to mention is
Sadiq figuring out like the water's being
poisoned. Yeah, we did
figure that out and we see
was that the sneak peak? We find out
how the water is being poisoned.
We find out how it was being
poisoned in sneak peak but we
realize he realizes it
this episode. Yes. So
it is the water. I mean obviously we all
knew that and
it's the water that's making everybody sick
So we'll see, it'll be interesting to see if, uh, what happens between, you know, because
uh, Rosita's showing up and, you know, Dante being there and no, Sadiq, but Sadiq's actually
in that, you know, in the same room, in the back room dead.
And it kind of looked like, uh, they might have caught or they might have, they might have
figured out that, uh, what's his name was?
Yeah, yeah, because they, I think they, Daryl was beating the crap out of somebody in a prison.
Yeah.
And we see, and I think he was like being.
dragged into the cell in that promo.
Oh, nice.
It's good.
Yeah, that's really good.
And you notice that amazingly,
speaking of digging myself out of a hole,
that the other,
the other,
the traitor Dante,
the spy Dante, was there
when the other spy, Lydia died on the bridge.
So I'm just saying, you know,
I still stick with my Lydia.
Lydia didn't die.
But Edith.
Edith.
Ed died.
in the barn of the barn yeah
of course because everybody died in the
barn except for Sadiq
yeah because he was holding his eyes open
we had to kill Edith the traitor
I'm with you on that one
with his other hole you're in you're stuck
and I love the
our weekly thought from
Facebook Justin he posted he gave me a couple
because he hadn't seen the whole show he was like
we had a good season going until this episode
this episode should have been called
Sadiq the water boy, who by the way is going to now have PTSD because he gave water to all the patients.
I just saw the end.
So I'm guessing that PTSD won't happen.
But wow, Dante is my new favorite.
Thank the Lord he ended, he ended Sadiq for us.
Justin is my spirit animal.
So next week, mid-season finale, titled The World Before.
A fight causes tensions in Oceanside.
the Alexandrians set out on a high-stakes mission.
So what does that tell you for the final episode?
I don't know.
I don't know.
They've been vague with these titles.
They certainly have.
They certainly have.
Because last episode was all Negan,
and Negan wasn't even mentioned in the description.
So we can't trust the descriptions.
Really weird.
So if they don't have Negan in the final episode,
even if it's not what we want, you know,
with the alpha decapitation?
Right.
If he didn't even show up in the final episode,
I'm gonna be so...
I am still placing my cards down
that it will...
That alpha will die.
Yeah, no, she doesn't die mid-season.
As much as we would like that to happen,
I'm pretty...
She won't die mid-season
because we still have too much
of a build-up between...
I was with you until what we have.
We have Dante,
we have another whisperer missing,
We have gamma upset of seeing Lydia, and none of those do we know has gotten back to Alpha yet.
So we still have all that to deal with before she dies.
I hope so.
I mean, there's hope, actually, because, I mean, that would be all of the rest of the half of the season would be very, very action-packed.
It would be the war with the whispers.
Yeah.
But that's where we're at, I think.
And where I'd say is where I would be leery on that would be that, that's, the,
They're just kind of blowing through the content.
The AMC usually stretches that out.
Yeah, milks it out.
They've already stretched it out a ton because in the comics, the Whisperer arc, I've said this before, is amazing, but it's short as hell.
It's like only maybe 10, not that short, but like quite a small number of issues compared to the other arcs.
Like, I think all out war was at least six, maybe 10 more issues longer than,
the whisperer war.
Right.
So they've stretched it out already, and it hasn't seemed stretched out for us, people
reading the comics, because the ones reading the comics, we're like, we're getting more
whisperer stuff than we did.
Alpha's a better character in the comic in the show than the comics.
Well, it's good for them to stretch it out.
I mean, they just get more episodes out of it, and people will still watch it.
We'll all still watch it.
But it's, I mean, that's why, but I think that they could escalate it if they wanted to,
because they've really already teased Commonwealth stuff.
Yeah.
Which is what happened in the comics.
So if they're teasing it, I mean, maybe it could be they're setting it up for next season,
not the next half of the season, but the next season.
The Whisper War the last half of the season.
And Alpha, because we still need a couple more people to die.
Mishon's got to go away.
We have to know about Mishon going away, right?
I mean, we have to know about her going away.
We have to know about Maggie coming back.
Yeah, there's been nothing on that.
That's weird, right?
We have, right.
Is that this?
Maggie's supposed to come back next season.
Oh, next half?
No, next season.
Oh, okay.
Next year.
Yeah.
So, I mean, do we even get any mention of her coming back before the end of this season, the second half of this season?
But Michaud, we know goes away.
We've got, we've got to have some deaths, right?
Somebody, a couple of big people have to die.
Well, my gosh.
If you're counting Sadiq is a big guy, we need to rewrite who's big on the show.
I'm sorry.
Well, one big death.
would be Gabriel
if they give him his comic death.
Man, I wonder if they even will now
because they've lost so many big characters.
I know. He's kind of been elevated to a higher tier.
I don't know.
Oh, Rosita.
Rosita died.
Well, she was one of the pike victims in the comics.
She's another one that's been elevated, though.
Because she's, I mean...
She won't die.
I've ensured that one.
I'm with you on that.
You've insured.
I mean, there are several...
Rewrite.
There are several, like, thick plot armors that I've already got in there.
Like, Magnus, she's there for good.
Like, she'll go all the way through the end.
Rosita's there for good.
I apologize.
I forgot who I was talking to.
My mistake.
You know who's going to die?
Okay, do we still have a...
Is dog going to die this season?
Oh, dog's been elevated now.
Yeah.
Dogs been elevated now.
He's at a tear.
After shirtless Daryl hug with the dog.
The dog's been elevated.
I don't know.
That could have been setting you up for the goodbye.
That is a good point.
Oh, by the way, what's his name going to die?
Who?
The really annoying instrument player guy.
What's his name?
Oh, Luke.
The violinist.
Luke.
Luke's dead.
That goodbye that they had, I'm sorry.
They might as well just like said.
They signed his own death warrant on that goodbye.
You said you kind of want Kelly to die, right?
Which one was Kelly?
Kelly is the partially deaf one out of the sisters.
Oh, I don't care.
But she's got to go, right?
She's signed a deal.
She's off working marbles now in a little bit.
So she's got to somehow not hear a tree fall or something in the woods and die.
I don't really care if she does or not.
There's another character that they're trying to elevate into these big characters.
I'm sorry, they're not.
The one they're really trying to elevate is Connie because of her relationship with Darrell.
That's annoying.
Either one.
Either one still.
All of their plot lines are annoying.
Those plot lines are.
I don't care about any of that.
Yeah, stop forcing the characters.
Give me the characters.
And then if they fall into place as being huge characters, we'll love it.
We'll take them.
Do the Daryl model.
Like he wasn't supposed to be, but all of a sudden, he was just written so cool that he just became that.
There you go.
That's how you do it.
You don't have to force it.
One character, this is during Commonwealth stuff or right before, so this is during the in-between of the Commonwealth and the Whisperer War.
One character that shows up, she was,
one of, she became a fan favorite.
Her name was Princess.
She, you might remember this for, if you saw the comic stuff.
She was the one with the pink fur coat, with the goggles.
Yeah, yeah.
Like, she became a fan favorite.
And I was reading her lines.
I'm like, this is female Negan.
Oh, nice.
So, I mean, I think that's, then they tried to do a little bit of
with the garbage pale lady.
They did not do that.
They did not do that with Jadis.
Okay?
A little bit with her with her garbage speak.
No.
She literally had quips where I'm like, my God, if she met Neeg and things would just be like talking all over the place.
It would be great.
I miss Jadis.
Yeah, I know.
I know.
I can't wait until the movies come back.
She'll be in the movies for sure.
She'll be right.
Yeah.
You excited for the movie?
Maybe she'll have her garbage, pale speak, still working hard.
She started speaking normal, though, so.
Yeah, whatever.
What was that thing she told Rick?
Remember that, like?
I don't remember her.
Oh, during the season eight finale, no, season seven finale,
I'll lay with him after.
I'll lay with him, yeah, yeah.
Then she looked at somebody and kind of like.
And then Michelle just looking at her like.
And Rick's just there like.
