Starting point is 00:00:00 Season 8, episode 2 of the Game of Thrones, the final season and series episodes. That makes this, you know, Talking Thrones. Play the whole open at the end. I'll play the whole open at the end, I promise. I'm ready to get into the show. Let's go. Welcome to Talking Thrones with myself, Jason Butchrell and Amber Fisher. IMDB description, a night of the seven kingdoms.
Starting point is 00:00:38 The battle at Winterfell is approaching. Jamie is confronted with the consequences of the past. tense interaction between Sansa and Denarius follows. Okay. I feel like we've had two episodes now of, let's get everybody together and say goodbye to everybody. Set up. Be together.
Starting point is 00:00:59 I've had enough. I've had enough. Did you listen to Stu's recap this morning? I did. So that kind of put perspective for me because he was like, he's never seen any of this stuff. So he's like, wow, it's just a bunch of people saying how they've been fighting the entire time, each other. And now all of a sudden.
Starting point is 00:01:14 But that's like, it is a lot. It is a lot. Literally everybody in the show right now has been fighting each other for seven. And they've been concentrating on other crap that don't matter. Yeah. I mean, it takes a lot. It's seven seasons of reconciliation to squeeze into two episodes. It does.
Starting point is 00:01:29 And to bring them all together in one place, whof, that's a lot. There's no question about that. And that, but that reunion, though, that Jamie, I thought that I was going to go a whole lot worse. I thought I was going to go to, like, prison or like going to a dungeon for a while or something. I didn't think it was going to go that well. I really didn't. Or become Dragon Chow?
Starting point is 00:01:48 Yeah. Easily could have gone that way. I mean, it was, it was really good. And I, you know, I enjoyed the, uh, the things we do for love. I know. That was perfect. That was so perfect. So.
Starting point is 00:01:59 And we called it here on Talking Thrones, by the way, about the Jamie and the brand, that he would be beyond that already. Be cool with it. Yeah. He wouldn't be, he wouldn't have become who he was. It was already way beyond. That's fine. I'm still getting.
Starting point is 00:02:14 sick of the whole the brand like stairs. He was better this week. He was a little bit better this week. Really? I think so. I think he was. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:02:22 I'm just taking the, I don't know, the old sage, you know, from the guy that looks like he's in a boy band in a wheelchair. I know,
Starting point is 00:02:29 but he was better. And plus he gave, he gave Jamie the, who says there's tomorrow, right? Who says there's an after? Yeah. Uh,
Starting point is 00:02:37 oof. I mean, dude, have you been looking at the speculation? Maybe this, show goes way beyond Walking Dead on the wild fan speculations. Absolutely it does. Go to you too.
Starting point is 00:02:50 Maybe that's why part of this is so fun or maybe it's such a big cultural phenomenon. It's just how it's open people up to speculate on what might happen in the show. They're like, maybe Brand is really the Night King somehow. Yeah. I mean, we talked about that last week. The theories are, you know, overwhelming. And you're right. I mean, everybody is calling it, right?
Starting point is 00:03:10 I mean, we looked, one of my favorite tweets last night from a guy from Ringer. dot com who they do a thrones show as well which is really good at right after the show Danny going to be the final villain Leanna Mormont has serious BDE area and gendry equals tumbler just exploded Breanne we all talked about dude like Toramond at a bar we've all talked to that dude Toramond at the bar when they were when he was talking was so good with the giant milk gray worm going to die and cripple not safe. Davos remains perfect. No question. Now the Crips definitely, let's talk about that for just a little bit. I feel like the Crips are definitely not safe because we're sending the people there that
Starting point is 00:03:53 those people are all going to die. Whoever goes into the Crip dies. Oh, oh yeah. They're calling their shot. Like it's so obvious. They keep saying that, oh, you'll be safe in the Crips. Yeah. It's like how many three different times? You'll be safe with the Cri-Ev. You always said, no, you won't. Instantly means it's going to go down. Instantly. And like, and you can tell who's going to die, right? You can tell. Brian with that big setup. Well, we'll talk about who all we think is going to die and who we're pretty sure is going to die. But for sure, if you're in the crypt, you're dead.
Starting point is 00:04:23 You're dead. Dragon fireball through the crypt. You're done. That's very possible. Yeah, from the, maybe the, uh, the, uh, ice dragon. Yeah, the ice dragon kills them in the crypts. But there's still a special way out, right? So somebody down there's going to get out.
Starting point is 00:04:38 We're theorizing. Well, no, because remember early on in the episode, when Bran, I think it was Bram, when he was just a little kid still prior to his fall, didn't the guy tell him there were ways out? Oh, did they? Down in the crypt when he was, when he was, remember when he ran in there
Starting point is 00:04:54 after the raven when he was a little kid? Gosh, I don't remember. It seemed to me that that's where we first found out that there was a way out. Maybe it was a vision instead of before he fell. But when he was in the crypt, he was told pretty sure that there was a way out. So he knows.
Starting point is 00:05:11 I have to go back and look. Huh. So he knows there's a way out. Plus, speaking of the dragons, when you talk about the dragons, I mean, A, well, I mean, the dragons are another great theory story. I mean, A, do the two dragons that are not winter, are they going to be able to kill their dead brother? Is the dragon that John wrote out, according to the books, once you write a dragon, that dragon's yours. So is Dinerius able to control that other dragon now, or is that John's? Does she say, come on, let's go?
Starting point is 00:05:42 And he's like, I'm with John. I'm staying here. Because she is in a world of hurt, didn't I guess. This episode proved that she is in a world a hurt. Because we have, she has gathered all this power for the throne and being strong, going by her instinct, growing by her gut. And now she's in Winterfell and all these other people around her who she is. trusted and they're you know they're they've bent the knee to her but they don't have they don't have the stronghold that the others have I mean she is in a world of hurt yeah and when
Starting point is 00:06:22 john I mean that she goes to the worst place when John told her that who he was she went to the worst place immediately yeah I can't I mean who you hear that from yeah yeah yeah from the guy on the corner oh you can't believe him your best friend and brother tell you that Shaw. She's. No kidding. Man. So you think they're throwing is yours now all of a sudden, huh?
Starting point is 00:06:45 And you can tell John didn't give a crap. Like the look on his face was like, I don't care about titles. And he was about, I think he was about to say that, but they got interrupted again, right? So, you know, you kind of feel like he was going to say, I've told you before, I don't care. Yeah. I don't want that. Yeah. So, I mean, do you, you know, I don't know if you're not going to rule together. There's no way they're going to rule together.
Starting point is 00:07:07 and she, I mean, she would be a huge death. Yeah, she's, and she's high on my death predictions list, actually, just from how they're building it right now, which would suck because she's like one of my favorite characters in the show. But like, just the way they're building it, like she can't be trusted. She is going to go crazy like her dad. So let's take that down the list of who's going to die. I'm sorry, go ahead.
Starting point is 00:07:30 So one thing I noticed last night was that she doesn't have as much power in Winterfell as she thinks she does. No way. Yeah. Because, you know, when Jamie showed up and then Brian saves him, she was mad. And she's sitting there whining that this man killed my father, you know, all the stories my brother told me. But then she watched her brother get his golden crown by her husband. And she's not mad about that. Yeah. And also she hasn't had the like okay that's a great a great point with Brianne standing up for him she hasn't had you know
Starting point is 00:08:11 she hasn't had any of the interaction that Brianna's had with Sansa and the rest of them and then when Greyjoy shows up I mean Sansa is a big hug and what's going on there I'm sorry you don't have your thing because we would do it right now
Starting point is 00:08:28 and that kind of hug yeah you know she doesn't have any of that experience and so you're right that power is She's like, she's an outsider. She got, she got overruled with the Jamie thing. And that's probably something that she thought that they'd be all in with her. Yep.
Starting point is 00:08:43 They'd stand united against her on that. Right. And then she'd take it out on Tyrion. Yeah, Terrian. Yeah, well, I mean. He didn't mess up again. He, Tyrion, he's so dead. We'll save that.
Starting point is 00:08:53 Oh. But yeah, we'll save that. No, we could down the list of. This stanza, denarius little chit-chat. Ooh, you could cut that tension with a knife. Yeah, at first it was, I thought I was like, hey, we're making progress. I know what we're doing. Come on.
Starting point is 00:09:05 Once you guys kiss and hug or something? You guys like each other so much. Why don't you get married? Just knock it off. Get a room, shut up. But then it went south at the end. Went south big time because she realized that what about the north
Starting point is 00:09:19 and I'm not bed in a knee to your boogey little queen on your throne. We've had to take it once. It won't happen again. Right. We're the north. And you can go ahead and be your little iron throne and all you want, but you ain't taking this.
Starting point is 00:09:31 Yeah. When it's all said and done, you go back to Kingsland. and be your little, have your little power trip. But this here, those here is ours. I'd tell you what, though, going back to the reunions and getting all these people back together, I still as a fit, like, if I'm someone that's never watched the show before, I'm kind of annoyed with this.
Starting point is 00:09:47 You're lost. I want to get, yeah, you're lost and you're maybe kind of bored and you just wanted to get over with. But like, I love all the reunions. I do, too. I enjoy it too. The Dion Sansa thing was awesome. I love that reunion.
Starting point is 00:09:58 But because we're bought into the episodes, right? Yeah. I mean, we're in. We're in. That's what's taken so long to get here. is all these interactions. Right, right, right, right. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:08 And the struggles that they've all had between themselves and others and who's lived and who's died. And these are what's left, man. This is what's left. I mean, we've been, for the people that have been ever around since season one, we've been waiting to see Jamie and Brand get together for how many years has this been? How many? Seven? It's longer than that.
Starting point is 00:10:28 It's like maybe eight or nine years. Is that? That's how long, like almost a decade we've been waiting to see what would happen. So finally the culmination. That interaction in the, in the hall with all of them was great. When, you know, we finally end up, we have, we have a what's his face telling his giant milk story. Because he wants, he wants, he wants, he wants, he wants Breanne bad.
Starting point is 00:10:52 That was the worst pickup line. He was Breed. I love, I love how disgusted and uncomfortable she is around him. She's not happening at all. Because I will guarantee you right now, she's a. in love with Jamie. Absolutely. And she does.
Starting point is 00:11:07 Oh, yeah. And I was watching something after where they said she doesn't know how to deal with these feelings because she's never had them before. Yeah. Well, I mean, she just, she, she had her first night orgasm then when she was knighted by Jamie. Yeah. That's for sure.
Starting point is 00:11:25 I mean, that was, that was amazing, right? And when they were doing the training, she was mad at him because he wasn't picking on her. Yeah. Right. Well, that was the same meeting. with the hound and area, right? You're usually, you can't shut you up. Now you're going to sit here and be quiet and kill me.
Starting point is 00:11:42 Yeah, the nighting scene, I was like, I didn't know how to take that. I didn't know if she was like, so like, finally, this is something I've wanted for so long. Or if it was like, oh, now Jamie sees me as an equal. You know what I mean? I think I have a little bit of both. Something, yeah. A little bit of both because she tried to blow it off, right? That was something she wanted before, but she doesn't care about it now.
Starting point is 00:12:01 But really, that was deep in her heart. Yeah, yeah. She, that's something that she deserved. And it was great to hear, uh, why, why aren't you a night? I mean, you're badass. And, uh, well, I'm a female. So. Well, it's tradition.
Starting point is 00:12:18 F tradition. You should be a night. And by the way, Padrick, he turned out to be kind of a badass too now. No question. He's down there training. Yes. And he's just like kicking butt, you know, like training that dude. And I was like, dang, dude.
Starting point is 00:12:29 And he was, he was throwing a little shade, a little attitude. Like throwing that dude around. I know. Yeah. And Brian's like, he's gotten better. Yeah. He's got it. He's like dominating everybody out there.
Starting point is 00:12:40 I'm like, holy crap, man. Pretty dope. It was nice of his little song too at the end. You knew he was going to be the one to sing too. The song, okay. So that was awesome. I thought it was awesome. That little.
Starting point is 00:12:52 Jenny song. The song. And then how they had all the, you know, the montage of people. But my only gripe is how they're picking, I think, too much from Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings. Because I remember them saying in the beginning, like how, oh, they kept saying, Helms Deep. Have you thought Helms Deep was good? You know, the Battle of Helms Deep and Lord of the Rings?
Starting point is 00:13:14 What was that the two towers? It was the second one. I think it was the two towers. But anyway, so they were like, if you like that, this is going to be tons better than that. Like, it's longer than Helms Deep. And I was like, okay, cool, but I hope they're not just copying Helms Deep. And then this one, that was pulled straight after Return of the King. Remember when Pippin was singing the song towards the end?
Starting point is 00:13:33 And, I mean, granted, it was great, but they totally ripped that off. Know what it reminded me of, though? Huh. The scene of going through the boat and the Titanic, especially the overshot of Sam and Gilly and the boy laying in bed that they're. That's a good point. Yeah, that's so, yeah, it's very similar to that too. Well, yeah, because they all, they all, you know, it was, this was the end, right?
Starting point is 00:13:55 This was the, this was the culmination of them knowing they're going to battle. and this is their last night of what we're fighting for. You've got to be together. This is why we're here. We're all fighting. And, you know, Aria with a little last night, Gendry, business. Okay.
Starting point is 00:14:15 creepy, right? Like, I didn't know how to take that. I was like... You take it as you... Okay, I'll take my own pants off. Sure, no problem. That's how you take it, bro. No, I was like, as a viewer, like,
Starting point is 00:14:27 and they've been telling us, basically, ordering us to start binge watching the show. you know, to lead up to this. Like, a lot of the marketing was that. So literally for a lot of us, just a couple weeks ago, we saw, what, seven-year-old are you? Yeah. Or whatever.
Starting point is 00:14:39 Right. And now she's a woman. And we've got to realize that. And now we got side boob and action going on. I was like, no. This is weird. Yeah, a little butt action too. I was like, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:14:51 Like, I felt dirty watching that. I was like, okay. I was like, going to get some nachos during that scene. I couldn't sit around and watch that. I went ahead. I went ahead and lived with myself. I was like that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:59 So we had, and then we had, when they, when John was there, talking to Samuel and Ed, right, and they were the Knights Watch, and it's their final watch. And then it felt like all of a sudden there's the ghost. I saw notice that too, in the background. And then there's ghost. And it's like, I don't know if they put that in after because it felt like they didn't even know it was there. Yeah, well, he's not there. It's all CGIed.
Starting point is 00:15:28 Oh, really? You thought there was real dire wolves? Oh my gosh, what an idiot I am. Like bear-sized wolves? You actually thought those things were real? But at least there was no recognition from them about him being there.
Starting point is 00:15:47 So that was kind of strange. But the world went crazy, man. The world went crazy to see ghost again. Well, it's been pissing me off that he's not in the shows more. And they always say that the CGI is. See Jai is so hard. I talked about it before the show even started last week, sometime during the week I remember talking about.
Starting point is 00:16:03 Seymour. Yeah. Right, because we still have arias that is on the loose in the woods that she told to go away. Right. Will the dire wolf come back during the war? So will. Or is it now part of the White Walkers?
Starting point is 00:16:19 Her dire wolf? It's not dead yet, right? We don't know that thing. We don't know. We don't know, right? She sent it away on her way when she was coming back. to Winterfell. There's no way they show that and not bring it back, I don't think.
Starting point is 00:16:33 Like, why even bring it up? That's true. If you're not going to show it in another episode, it doesn't mean something. That's true. So I think it's next episode. Next episode is going to be insane. I hope so, because, you know, before we talk about who's going to die, I mean, let's talk about a little bit about, I was really, I was, we kept being told that these were
Starting point is 00:16:49 going to be movie episodes. Bull crap. Okay, so the first episode was 54 minutes. Last night was 58 minutes. That's just like any other season So the final four episodes All right 82 78 8080 80 80
Starting point is 00:17:03 Oh that's confirmed Yeah I looked at all I was looking on IMDB what they What's what they have showing 82 minutes 82 next week 78 80 80 80 Wait is that with opening sequence And recap and all that stuff
Starting point is 00:17:15 Or is that sure sure yeah Because so is the 58 and the 54 Stupid it's like what is it Is at least five minutes into the show Before you actually get into the show Yeah So it's like 50 like so last night was 58 minutes. It was still probably only hovering around 50, I don't know, 53, 54 minutes before you finally got into the episode.
Starting point is 00:17:35 Right. And then the first week was 54. So you're looking at 48. That's stupid. Yeah. That irritated me, man. Plus you had the big long song at the end, right? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:46 And that's it. With the credits and everything. That's included. That's true. With the new Florence and the Machine Game of Thrones premiere song at the end, yeah. Which was the rest of the Jenny song. Yeah. So realistically, we're only getting like an extra five to ten minutes of content on these things.
Starting point is 00:18:02 If you say the show is an hour. Yeah. If you're counting on the show being an hour, yeah. That's, uh, that's, that's, that's irritating. I know. I like that the longest episode, though, is going to be next week. Yes. I, dude, I am so looking forward to that.
Starting point is 00:18:17 I like, I'm, I'm a big fan of those long combat sequences. Well, this was supposed to be, this was supposed to be huge. Record set. This is supposed to be huge. So I'm looking forward to it. And look, we've got the setup now. Everybody's got their, got their, got their, got their, got their magical swords. Everybody's, everybody's got their swords of giving them, you know, Sam gave the sorens back to what's his face.
Starting point is 00:18:39 This is my friend. Here you go. Use it. Because he can't lift it. And so everybody's got their, got their special iron made swords and their, their special Walker, White Walker killer blades. and we're good, right? The battle's on. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:56 It's going to be, it's going to be, it's going to be, I have something. It's going to be interesting to see. While they were setting up, did anybody notice they were making the pikes? You know, the big criss-cross pikes that sit out in front and all. Why isn't their dragon glass melted onto those? There was. I think there was. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:13 I didn't see that. I saw her. One of them there was. There definitely was on the inside of Winterfell. I'm not sure on the outside, but definitely on the inside I saw them. Right. But the wooden pike. that were out front.
Starting point is 00:19:24 None of them had dragon glass. Now, the top of the spires and stuff, they all had dragon glass put into it. So I was like, okay. Yeah, I do remember seeing one of them with dragon glass on. Okay, then I missed that. But I think you're right on the outside ones.
Starting point is 00:19:40 There wasn't any on the outside. And that might have been just because they hadn't got to it yet. I don't know. I don't know. Because I remember thinking, are they just going to, are the White Walker just going to walk through those or what? you know, because I remember thinking
Starting point is 00:19:53 there's no dragon glass on it, but you know, we'll see. So the point is, right, we've got to kill the main guys. We've got to kill the big guys and then the rest of them fall. Right, that's what we need. So maybe, you know, how do we do that? Do the dragons do it? We don't know if the fire kills the White Walkers, right? Because when they had
Starting point is 00:20:09 the battle before when we lost the dragon, right, the fires came but it didn't directly hit the White Walker. Now they say back. Right. Yeah. So I don't know if I don't know if the walkers will get killed by fire. Another theory is, before we get down to who's going to die, another theory is that Winterfell falls.
Starting point is 00:20:30 Okay? Another theory is that Winterfell falls and whoever survives goes to the Iron Islands. Yeah, I can't imagine that happening. And then we come back, we come back and take Winterfell. So they do the Rocky part. We do the Rocky movie. Winterfell falls. He goes back and trains.
Starting point is 00:20:49 in Russia and then comes back to Winterfell and takes it over again. Getting strong now. Yeah, I don't think they go to the Iron Islands because I read it, I think it was either an interview with the actress that plays Yara and she was talking about, at first she said she's not in the final season at all.
Starting point is 00:21:09 And then it leaked out that she had a very minor role, very quick scene. That's when he rescued. Yeah. And so I think just her saying, hey, I'm not going with you. I'm going to go off to the Iron Islands was just to get this, to pay it off that she got rescued.
Starting point is 00:21:21 Put her in the episodes. She's gone. She's gone. Yeah. So I don't, I tell you what, I think it's very possible that this battle, this next episode, Night King dies and all that's like tied up. And then it's like the battle of does John take over? Does Danny take over?
Starting point is 00:21:37 What happens to Cersie? Like all of that struggle. I think it's very possible. I don't know if I'd be satisfied with that. Just all of a sudden it's over in the middle of the season. But I think it's very possible. possible. I like that.
Starting point is 00:21:50 Well, I mean, that would be, that would be a Game of Thronesish, right? Though that would be definitely Game of Thrones just because you're going to have, if that happens, let's go with that. Let's say we have the battle and we lose a bunch of people and we'll go down the list of who we think we're going to lose. For sure, the people in the crypt gone. And we lose those, including the little kid that reminds us of the little day, baby. And that Davos had to give soup to. She's so dead. She's gone.
Starting point is 00:22:18 In flames. In flames. Davos probably Caesar burned, too. She's gone. But so let's do that. So they all go, right? We win and we lose. We're down to one dragon and, you know, we're hurt. We're injured.
Starting point is 00:22:32 We're hurting. But White Walker's gone. Winter's over. Right. So now we have Circe, who didn't show up, right? And she's still sitting on the Iron Throne. With a 20,000 man army. Right.
Starting point is 00:22:44 We have, and then we have all our people that are either injured or, you know, wounded walking man. Or dead. Yeah. And you have John and Denarius saying, well, you're not really, the throne is mine. And you have Sansa saying, I don't care who's thrown it is, but Winterfell is mine. Me and Ariya are taking over Winterfell if they both survive. Yeah. Yeah. And I don't know, the leaks that have come out on the show. One of the, it's Am I allowed to talk about leaks that I've seen? This is Talking Thrones.
Starting point is 00:23:24 We threw one out last week. I was making sure that no one complained. We are theorizing. We are throwing out leagues. We are throwing out everything. That's why people listen to talking through. Okay. So this leak was crazy cool, right?
Starting point is 00:23:36 And it goes to this theory you're talking about. But we're talking, discussing. So Kings Landing, where they film Kings Landing, I can't remember where it's at somewhere in Europe. The Google Earth. I just sold my. My time share there. He did.
Starting point is 00:23:49 Yeah. It's time to get out. It's time to get out. Yeah. I forgot to tell you. The Google Earth satellites updated after they were done filming. So the set was still intact. Nice.
Starting point is 00:24:02 Someone was looking around that day. Nice. And zoomed in. The entire set. Nessa got nothing better to do. Isn't that crazy? Like technology today. They couldn't, they've been very good on security for it.
Starting point is 00:24:14 But they couldn't stop the Google satellites. So someone zoomed. all the way down and you can do this right now. Like if you look up the set, if you Google it right now, go to it, go to Google Earth, you can zoom all that.
Starting point is 00:24:25 It's still there because it hasn't updated since. They took those pictures. But it shows that it looks like, it looks like a dragon basically walked through the front gate of King's Landing. Because everything is like singed and blown apart like in kind of like a trail. Right. And Kings Landing is just not just not utterly destroyed, but a lot of destruction.
Starting point is 00:24:45 Right. Okay. So I don't know. it didn't look very white walkerish to me. It looked more like it was... It goes to our battle. Maybe Drogan. Yeah, exactly.
Starting point is 00:24:54 Maybe Drogon crashing through the front gate. And that would lead us to we have at least one dragon left after the winter war. Yeah. Right. Mm-hmm. And we have whether Dinerius and or John, whoever is going to take over the Iron throne knows that Cersie needs to go. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:25:11 She's gone. Have a nice day. Yeah. And Cirstie will be thinking she's pretty powerful if the walkers die and she didn't help. right she's like I made the right move I'm still in charge we had legitimized yeah in her eyes for sure yeah I saved my people
Starting point is 00:25:25 uh palpatine I'm still it everything's going to plan yep all right so we got the people who as we as we start to wrap up who's going to die for sure again all the people in the in the crib have a nice day and we don't know what really what what is the
Starting point is 00:25:40 the king walker winter guy what does he want what is he really after I mean brand says he knows where I'm at he has I made my mark. I have his mark on me. He knows where I'm out at all times. And, you know, so, but what is he after really? What does he want?
Starting point is 00:25:56 I mean, if this is, he's heading to Winterfell, there's got to be something in the crypts, right? Got to be. Well, I thought it was pretty. They actually kind of just spoiled that, really. And yesterday's episode when Brand and Sam had that little thing at the war council. And they were like, he wants to basically destroy the history of man. So the best way to do that is you first got to get rid of the keeper of the, entire history, which is Brand.
Starting point is 00:26:18 Which is Brand. And the Knight King gave an interview before the season, the guy that plays him and said, he didn't give away too much, but he said, the Night King, it's not a direct quote, he's like, the Night King has a specific target and he's going after that target for a specific reason. So I think they just gave that away. Right. It's Brand because his ultimate goal is to destroy mankind.
Starting point is 00:26:38 History. And the history. Yeah. Create darkness. Yeah. All right. All right. So do we lose Brianan?
Starting point is 00:26:43 Yes. Absolutely. Brand's done. why my theory right now goes to everyone they got overly over screen time in last episode yesterday dies something very emotional and they really put emphasis they're dead so I think brand's gone so so Brian and he won you over yeah I agree okay and it'll suck think about how bad it'll suck and Jamie will be alive to see it happen he'll see it he'll totally see it he'll see it because he knows he also told her that he was you know he can't fight
Starting point is 00:27:16 like he used to. Which, what does that mean? I know. Jamie was humbling himself? So if she dies and then he goes crazy to try to, you know, resurrect her,
Starting point is 00:27:28 then he dies. No, he lives. Okay. In my theory, in my game model, because he humbled himself. And we still have to go to,
Starting point is 00:27:35 we still have to go back to King's Landing in our theory, right? Right. Right. And the reunion between the three Lannister kids. Like, he's so alive. Well, you think Teryam will survive?
Starting point is 00:27:45 I think you're survives this battle, but he dies at the end of the episode. Because he doesn't go into the crypt, even though De Nerea says she wants him down there. Right. I bet you're right. To save his brain. Because when would he ever, he's got to have some kind of scheme, some kind of plot. Like he'll unveil something at the end that helps the battle or something. You know what I mean? Of course. He's not going to go down into the crypts with that little whining kid. Stop it. Davos.
Starting point is 00:28:12 Davos is dead, I think. I know. I'm sorry. I'm sorry to see him. This is going to be devastating. I like him a lot. Do we still have the Dyerwolf's Ghost and Arias Dyerworth who were assuming shows up? I think so. I don't know. I don't know either.
Starting point is 00:28:29 I don't know either. I don't know what you are. I'm going to say one. It's like you can tell they hate having the Dyerwolves because they're so expensive CGI-wise. That was one of the jokes on social media last night was they can't wait. That they, uh, ghost finally showed up and they just C-G-I'd him in. the actors didn't even know he was there and it cost $45 million. I bet you they have a really good episode next week, next week, but I bet you they kill them off.
Starting point is 00:28:55 That's what I'm to predict. I bet you they kill them off so they don't have to deal with them anymore. Don't have to deal with anymore. Yeah, we're done. Greyworm? So dead. I mean, that whole thing I was going to take you to Florida and we're going to relax on the beaches. Shut up.
Starting point is 00:29:06 Shut up. That was such a called shot, like so stupid. Like, okay, we get it. He's dead. Oh, did you notice the little racial snub from the two kids? Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah, yeah. When she walked up and said hi.
Starting point is 00:29:24 I don't know if that was more racial. It was just like, we don't know who you are. We're not. Yeah, I didn't take that as racial. I took that more as... That's the way I took it the way things are now on television. Well, I don't play. I mean, they may have tried to make it that way.
Starting point is 00:29:36 But the way I took it was just like, you're not one of us and don't be talking to me. Yeah. Because we already... You're different. We don't like you. Right. We've already laid that groundwork of people of the North not being accepting, right? Right, right.
Starting point is 00:29:48 Yeah, that's true. So you've got Padrick, we already said he's gone. He's gone. Thanks for the nice song. We appreciate it. Yeah, your practice has been great. We've got Uncle Ed. Uncle Ed.
Starting point is 00:29:59 Yeah, the Knights Watch, uncle, does he live? Oh, no, he's dead. I mean, he's fought, he's won a lot of battles, Matt. Yeah, but you can't have that brotherly reunion and have him survive. And I don't think Sam dies because I actually think, Sam is the narrator for this entire story. So I think he survives. Okay.
Starting point is 00:30:17 Like my prediction for the end of this is that it ends. And then the final scene, it goes to black, comes back up, and Sam is finishing off his book. Writing off the history. And it's Game of Thrones. That's what I think. So I think he's one of the ones that cannot be touched. I think he is immortal for the rest of the season. Okay.
Starting point is 00:30:37 So the hound? Oh, he survives. I think the hound lives. Because he's got to fight his brother in the last. last episode. Right. Or we've got to go to Kingsland. If that doesn't happen.
Starting point is 00:30:47 He's got to go to Kings Landing. Exactly. He's got to. So he is immortal until the last episode. So howl lives? That means that area's got to live too, right? Who? Aria.
Starting point is 00:30:55 Aria. Oh. Ariel. Aria. Whatever her name is. I also, yeah, I think Aria. Shut up. I think Aria lives because if she doesn't kill the one that doesn't
Starting point is 00:31:06 kill Circe, then this show is a travesty. Because that's a main person on her list. We write if the hound. doesn't fight his brother. Yep. And if Aria doesn't kill Searcy. We riot in both scenarios.
Starting point is 00:31:17 There's a lot of scenarios where we riot. Those are two of the big ones for me. And you know what? So maybe it's Aria who saves the hound from being killed by Whitewockers. That would be poetic for sure. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:31 That probably will happen exactly how you're describing it. That's a good one. Either way, she survives to the last episode. So great joy protecting, protecting Brand. To Theon.
Starting point is 00:31:43 He has this huge redemption story, but I kind of think he has to die to see it out. It feels like it. Doesn't it? It does feel like it. So I'm probably going to say he dies, but now I'm starting to think that I've said too many people are going to die. It's going to be tragic crazy in this episode. It's going to be a blood bath. It's going to be a blood bath.
Starting point is 00:32:02 But he probably dies. I'm going to say he dies. Yeah. I think Theon will die saving Brian. Sonsa lives. Yeah. Of course Sonsa has to live. Of course Sonsa lives.
Starting point is 00:32:11 Yeah. She might get a scar too, but hey. She lives. Because she's going to be the monarch or official in the North because John doesn't want it. Right. No matter what. And we're not bending. The North is not going to bend the knee.
Starting point is 00:32:26 You got the knee back from John? That ain't happening from me. Ain't happened to them from me. So she's got to survive to be that official. Yes. Whether they call it a king, queen, lady, whatever in the North, she's going to be that person in the North. Yeah, I agree with that. And plus the old, you know, we've already, you know, that whole tradition is going to be broken, right where it's got to be a male or whatever.
Starting point is 00:32:46 No. No. No. That's that. That's out the window. Yeah. I'm already in charge. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:51 I'm a stark and this is ours. So she lives. Yeah. It's going to be, it's going to be great to see the episode to see who lives and dies, though. No question. It's going to be, it's going to be amazing to see. Gendry? What about Gendry?
Starting point is 00:33:11 I don't know. I don't know. That's a tough. Amber? I don't know I think I personally think he survives because I think that
Starting point is 00:33:20 beings that he got screwed over with his family name and all that stuff He's the blood right He's the only Barathean So I think that they have to have one right Because they'll have Towards the end they'll have officials Of all the houses that used to exist
Starting point is 00:33:32 And I think he'll just probably be the representative You know the last representatives of the houses right And now since him and Aria had their little Trist last night I mean who's not to say that she won't be pregnant That would not put that bad. Exactly. We haven't found out that DeNaris is pregnant, which I thought we would.
Starting point is 00:33:50 I just thought that was a foregone conclusion. No, they just mentioned Cersie. Right. And we talked about that last week where we know that's why she had sex with, what's his face, right? From the Iron Boy. The Iron Boy. So that she could say that it was his baby. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:03 Oh, wow. We didn't see Cersie at all of this episode. Nope. No. That's weird. No, she's hanging out drinking wine. And she might not be in next week's episode at all either. Because it's all going to be right at Winterville.
Starting point is 00:34:15 Right. Maybe at a quick opening scene, but maybe. Yeah, a Raven letting them know what's going on. Something like that. But wow. We find out the winter is coming and they're going to be here tomorrow morning. Send a Raven to fly 8,000 miles. It will be there tomorrow.
Starting point is 00:34:32 It'll be there tomorrow. It'll be there before the attack. Or if he makes good time, you know, maybe a little earlier than that. Stops and has a couple seeds at the local bar. Right. Right. That's going to be exciting to see. I'm telling you, I really am looking forward to it because now we've gone through, we've got through the, we've got through the whole thing of what's happening. We've all said our goodbyes. We've got everybody ready to rock and roll. Let's have the battle. Let's move on. I think we hit it, though. I think that's what's going to happen, right? It's going to be the, it's going to be the rocky story. Winter dies, and then we're still going to have to battle for the throne. I have one thing. This show is going to end with Brand by the tree
Starting point is 00:35:12 and the Night King walking up and that's it. Fid to Black. That sounds like one of those riot scenarios. It almost does. It almost does sound like a riot scenario. Because now you know that's the one big thing. And then he pulls his mask off.
Starting point is 00:35:34 But I think that's what's going to happen next week. They're going to have all the big battle. we're going to see you all who dies and everything else. Theon dealing with the Knight King and then then both meeting face to face, fade to black. Because then they can push it into the next episode. So you've got how this episode ends for Manor. You've got how the entire series ends from Jason today.
Starting point is 00:35:59 And I don't know what more you want. I know what we give and we give on this podcast. Thanks for listening to Talking Thrones. We'll see you next week. Be sure to subscribe to Chewing the Fat. with Jeff Fisher and then you'll be alerted when this podcast gets uploaded every Monday. And what do you point now? What am I supposed to mention?
Starting point is 00:36:16 Fear, baby. June 2nd. I mean, once we get through with this, we've got fear. It comes back. So we'll have Talking Fear back up and running, which I'm looking forward to if you have an opportunity to see the trailer for the new season of fear. It looks like they've taken some notes from Talking Fear. And the show looked actually good.
Starting point is 00:36:35 So there's something to look forward to on that as well. So Jason, Amber, and you, thank you for listening to Talking Thrones. See you next week. And I'm going to play the whole, you know, the whole open as the close. So you'll be able to hear it all. I know, you're welcome.
