Starting point is 00:00:42 You just have to do your best to keep all your information safe. So Bank of America, along with J.P. Morgan Chase, Wells Fargo, City Bank. Yeah, they've had some issues with allowing our information, our private information, to get out there and to be taken. So this latest, I don't know, information breach from Bank of America, and again, it's not their fault according to them. Oh, okay. Yeah, no, it was, ha, that was not our fault. We hired
Starting point is 00:01:21 a company to pick up documents from an unnamed financial center and to take them to be shredded for security purposes, of course. And some of those documents were found outside of the secure containers on the exterior of the financial center. Oh, I'm just sitting outside of the bank. That's unbelievable. So the bank still hasn't revealed how many customers have been affected by the breach, but we're providing financial services for, you know, 69 million U.S. consumers and small businesses.
Starting point is 00:01:56 We can't keep track of everything. So in a statement to potential victims, the bank noted that customers could contact their State Attorney General for more information about avoiding identity theft. Oh, well, that's okay. Don't contact us. We'll let you know, but contact your State Attorney General. A list that included Massachusetts, New York, Washington, D.C., and Oregon. So I guess those were some of the areas that the papers left outside this financial institution were a part of.
Starting point is 00:02:25 So they can't verify or confirm if your documents were directly involved or affected. That's what the letter read. But following the latest breach, if you believe you were exposed by the data destruction vendor, not us, promising to minimize the financial impact of their accounts. So you need to do a few things. You need to, we're going to give you two years of free identity. Identity Theth Protection Services provided by Experian. You know, one could make the case that Experian is the one that's doing all these breaches
Starting point is 00:03:02 so they get more customers, but that's just me. I'm sure they're not. That would be silly. And along with they're going to have free identity theft services. They advised anyone receiving a letter about this breach to take several steps. Those tips included checking for signs of fraud on banking statements, credit reports, and for the next two years, updating your contact information. with the bank so they can alert you of any suspicious activity and updating all account passwords
Starting point is 00:03:30 to be at least eight characters long. That's probably good advice for everyone. A Bank of America officials added that choosing to use multi-factor authentication can also enhance your safety. Yeah, we can't promise you that you could be safe, but it's going to enhance it anyway. So Bank of America hasn't been the only one. As I said, the Citigroup, J.P. Morgan Chase, Wells Fargo. Our information is out there. They've been hacked. Of course, it's not their fault. It's all because, well, someone else was given access. And wow, we didn't, we thought they were good people, but they weren't. Oh, okay, no problem. Except for the whole Wells Fargo thing. Remember, they had employees that were under pressure to meet sales targets, and they opened millions of
Starting point is 00:04:22 unauthorized bank and credit card accounts without customers consent. That's it, though. The bank was ordered to pay $3 billion in fines as a result of the Department of Justice Investigation into the misuse of customer records. Did you get any of that $3 billion? Or was that just fine to the government and they went ahead and just took it? Yeah, you're fine, no problem. So take those steps to keep yourself safe from hackers, which good luck.
Starting point is 00:04:49 Your information is out there. You do need to keep an eye on everything, though, that is for sure. And just know that the banks are in it, well, for you, for you. They care about you. And it's not their fault. It's those damn third-party software companies, those darn companies that we've contracted with to come and destroy the paperwork. You've got to do a better job of keeping your data safe. Wow.
Starting point is 00:05:17 Okay. So just know your information is out there. Really, really. It's nice of the bank to be as helpful as they really are. Isn't it? Yes, it is. Welcome. Welcome to Toeing the Fat. Yesterday, for those of you listening live, today is the 11th of March, 2025. So yesterday on the 10th of March, we talked about the breaking news of the U.S. flagged oil tanker carrying jet fuel. I'm sorry, fuel tanker, was struck by a cargo ship in the North Sea off the coast of Eastern England. Well, I mean, yesterday we weren't quite sure what happened. We know now that that cargo ship struck the tanker, triggering multiple explosions, setting both vessels on fire
Starting point is 00:06:07 and sending fuel pouring into the water. Now, there was a massive fireball and a collision, and we talked about how they had rescued 37 people. Those were all the crew members that were on both ships, and one was hospitalized. The other 36 mariners were. safe and accounted for. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:06:26 I still have a question. How does that happen? I know that everyone is saying, oh, the details are still becoming clear. Uh-huh. Yeah, I'd like to have that cleared up really fast because I'd like to know they appear to say that the cargo ship had not been maintaining a proper lookout by
Starting point is 00:06:53 radar. Huh. So that means nobody was watching. Nobody was, nobody was at the helm of the ship. Oh, okay. Well, then. No problem then. We just run into tankers that are waiting out there in the ocean, right? Right. So, so ridiculous. It is interesting, though, that this is one of the tankers that the U.S. government uses to supply the armed forces with fuel during times of armed forces. It is armed conflict or a national emergency. Huh. So, I mean, we're just providing, I mean, we're providing fuel to our military from that particular vessel. Huh.
Starting point is 00:07:37 Weird that would just get run into, isn't it? And it is weird that the ship so long would run into the Stena Immaculant, which is the jet fuel ship that had been anchored for a day. just really, really weird. The whole thing is strange. And, of course, Greenpeace is, oh, man, they are extremely concerned about the collision. Well, they're extremely concerned about the collision because that's a busy fishing ground
Starting point is 00:08:10 and close to major seabird colonies. Multiple toxic hazards these chemicals could pose to marine life. Thank you, Paul Johnston. and senior scientists at the Greenpeace Research Laboratories in Exeter University. Scientists said the environmental impact might be less severe than with a spill of heavier crude oil. Yeah, the jet fuel will just evaporate and, you know, some fish may die. Oh, no, we can't have that. Can we?
Starting point is 00:08:44 No, the Center for Marine Biodiversity and Biotechnology. is hoping that it evaporates quickly. So we can only hope and pray that it evaporates quickly so we don't mess with any of the seabird colonies. I don't want to mess with the seabird colonies either. But first and foremost, I'd like to know how these two ships or this one ship ran into the other ship.
Starting point is 00:09:12 And it is interesting that it is jet fuel being carried on the ship that was docked and hit. Just interesting. Things that make you go, huh. You know, another thing that makes you go, huh? And I really don't know, I have an answer, but I know that yesterday, X was knocked off line. We may have touched on it a little bit on the show,
Starting point is 00:09:33 but it was because of a cyber attack. Elon said it originated in the Ukraine area. I don't know what that means. The Ukraine area, that would be Europe, but what do I know? The Pro Hamas Group, Dark Storm Team, reportedly took credit for the distributed denial of service attacks on X servers. Now, X gets, you know, attempted to be hacked every day, and they usually can fight them off. This was quite a sophisticated attack, and it happened multiple times all day long, up and down with the X.
Starting point is 00:10:14 if you were on X, you were trying to get on X, was a strange day for sure and affected a lot of people who use X, whether it be for shows or communication. And so, you know, it's confirmed, and the group has pulled off other cyber attacks and has threatened cyberware on Israel and its allies. Okay.
Starting point is 00:10:35 So just things that make you go, huh? You can still follow me on X, though, at Jeffrey JFR. I do a lot of stuff on X and I'm thinking about doing more actually and that's something I'm not I don't want to get into just yet because I don't want to give people any ideas
Starting point is 00:10:56 but you can follow me on X at Jeffie JFR on X. Okay, let me take a moment and talk to you about the Jace case. The Jase case, I can't really recommend it highly enough. Starting point is 00:11:48 same is that we need to be ready and we need to be ready now. And some emergency preparedness vitals include emergency contacts, a plan for evaluation routes, meeting places, a getaway bag, important documents, flashlights, batteries, non-perishable food. If you're out driving around and you think to yourself, hey, wasn't that a border Mexican and grill and canteen? Yeah, it was, but they've closed. Well, they haven't closed them all. They've only closed 40 of their locations. They filed for bankruptcy protection, citing pressure from inflation and changing customer behavior. The Tex-Mex company started in Dallas, Texas in 1982. So according to this story that I read, they have 80s.
Starting point is 00:13:55 total locations, including those that are leased and those operated by franchisees, okay, according to the court filings. But the website lists 110 locations across 26 states with nine additional franchise locations in Texas, Florida, South Dakota, Nevada, and Alaska. So, according to court documents, they have 80. So it looks like they were cutting some stores already, but they've closed 40. That's at least half of their on-the-border Mexican grill and canteena. So if you're driving around and you're thinking,
Starting point is 00:14:33 man, I could really go for a on-the-border Mexican grill and canteena taco or a, you know, a margarita from there. They're not going to be there. So you may want to find another place. I mean, we've had so many places closing down. I mean, holy cow, TGI Fridays, Denny's Ruby Tuesday, Rubio's Coastal Grill and Red Lobster, all filed for bankruptcy in the near past. And Hooters of America, you know, is filing for bankruptcy as well.
Starting point is 00:15:03 Red Robin, we had the Wendy's story. I mean, Wendy's is shuttered 140 underperforming locations. There was one Wendy's that I've, they just built not far from where I live. And it was just like, wow, they've shut that down already. Guess it was underperforming. Yes, no problem. So just know that all that said, when you drive by, You say, hey, didn't that used to be a on the border Mexican grill and canteen?
Starting point is 00:15:29 Yes, yes, it was. But no more. You know, and the other day, I was talking about how my wife had an experience at Taco Bell where you don't deal with anyone when you place your order. You go in. You put your order in on the screen. And then some maddening employee that doesn't talk to you and doesn't care comes out, throws your stuff on the counter and says, thank you.
Starting point is 00:15:50 You go order number 12 or whatever your number is. And there's no personalization. and it's just kind of maddening. And I know a lot of people don't like the personal interaction. I do. I think that it helps with our lives, but that's just me. I know. But I got an email from Tanya who said that not only are they not as good as they used to be talking about restaurants,
Starting point is 00:16:15 their employees seem to be older than when I was younger. However, their work ethic hasn't matured with them. It's like they simply don't care because life has dealt them this crappy hand and they're not going to try to get out of it, just stuck in this dead-end job. Now, I was thinking about that, and I understand that, but I also was thinking that it's possible that these employees are working a second job, and this is their second job. And so they're very tired and unhappy about having to work the second job. So they're not as perky as they should be. Tanya continues. And I can't stand the fake personalization of the ordering experience when an actual human takes your order.
Starting point is 00:17:03 Asking me my name for my order. Just stop with that. I feel like I'll be put on some LinkedIn mailing list if I give them my name. Most of the time they spell it wrong, and that's just another reason they don't need my name. I don't want to stand in line and spell it for you. I've started telling them my name is 284. They don't usually ask us. second time. Okay, I love that, and I have been doing that for a long, long time. I hate it when
Starting point is 00:17:32 they ask me my name. I don't know why. I just do. As far as spelling it wrong, I mean, does it matter how they spell it really? It's just annoying to you that they spell it wrong. Anyway, but the name thing, I hate it, and I don't know why I just do it has bugged me for a long time. My kids make a joke and call me the name that I always use at the drive-thru or wherever we go. And somebody says, name, and I give them a fake first name because that's my name. I don't care. You don't need to know my name, all right? Just give me my coffee.
Starting point is 00:18:13 Just give me my order. You don't need to know my name. So you use 284. My kids call me by the name that I use. I don't know why it bugs me so much, but it does. And I like the conversation and the communication. It just bugs me that you have to know my name. We should just have a happy conversation over the fact that I'm buying a product from you
Starting point is 00:18:39 and you don't need to know my name. Okay? That's just the way it works. Anyway, that's just me. And plus, if I use my, if I use my card, it has my name on the card. So if you really cared, you could look at that, but you don't. So you don't need to know my name. It's just, again, I don't know why it bugs me.
Starting point is 00:18:58 It just does. And it makes me smile when I give them a name that's not actually mine, and they continue to call me that. And that's, again, I know. It's just me. And maybe, maybe the people working there have been let go or quit a job that they really liked, and now they're unhappy about having to be where they're at. I would understand that.
Starting point is 00:19:22 Like, let's say, you're the Washington Post, I'm sorry, the former Washington Post columnist and associate editor Ruth Marcus. So she just quit the newspaper saying its publisher had refused to print her column criticizing owner Jeff Bezos' move to exert control over the opinion section. So she was pissed that her article against the owner wasn't going to be published. So she quit. Now, if she's work on the drive-through or the counter at a particular fast food restaurant, she's going to be a very unhappy customer. And I understand how miserable she would be. And I'm sure she's going to project that miserableness. Is that a word miserableness? Yeah, she's going to project that
Starting point is 00:20:13 on us. And that's just the way it's going to be. All right, let's go to the break room. I need something cold to drink desperately. I mentioned earlier that you can follow me on X at Jeffie JFR. You can also follow me on Facebook and Instagram, Jeff Fisher Radio. You can follow me on my YouTube page, Chewing the Fat with Jeff Fisher. You can email the show, as Tanya did, Chewing the Fat at theblaze.com. You can also reach out and let me know if you want to be a contestant on what's the lie through email, chewing the fat at the blaze.com.
Starting point is 00:20:52 You can send me your thoughts or your submissions to a joke of the day, which we air at the end of the shows. And I use many of your jokes of the day. Some of you still need some work. Some of you are writing your own. And others are just sending me jokes recycled, which I'm not opposed to. If it's a good joke, it's a good joke.
Starting point is 00:21:12 And you can also, that's at Chewing the Fat at the Blaze.com. And you can also order a cameo from me at any time at Jeffey JFR on the cameo app. That is not free, but it is worth every doggone penny. at Jeffrey JFR on the Camio app. Good news. Coming from James Taylor. Many of you may think,
Starting point is 00:21:36 oh, he's not going to perform anymore? No, that's not the good news. The good news is he's going to perform more. He's extending his 2025 concert tour. Yes, how great is that? He says I have the same job that I had when I was 15. Yeah. Have you gotten better at it, though?
Starting point is 00:21:55 I like James One song Fire and Rain. That's it. The rest of them, I could care less about it. Anyway, he has had 24 previously announced shows and now he's added new concerts. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:22:13 So he's adding 17th new August and September concerts to his itinerary. Tickets go on sale this coming Friday at Tour. James Taylor.com. And I'm guessing you could probably just go to James Taylor.com and then click on the tour link, but
Starting point is 00:22:31 you don't know. It's going to begin with concerts at Wolf Trap outside of Washington, D.C., and conclude September 17th with the show at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas. So good news. Can't wait for that.
Starting point is 00:22:51 The extended concert tour of James Taylor. So all this week we have South by Southwest taking place down in Austin, Texas. And I see where Amazon MGM Studios saying that they are going old school in a big way at the South by Southwest extravaganza, they announced plans
Starting point is 00:23:14 to drop 12 to 14 films in theaters in 2026. Okay. And they say potentially 16 and 27. Studio execs are calling it a commitment
Starting point is 00:23:28 that's both financial and philosophical. A pretty big plot twist after years of streaming first strategy
Starting point is 00:23:34 that tech giants like Amazon champion. Yeah, they were one of the ones that said, hey, come to us and stream here
Starting point is 00:23:41 and now they're going back to the movie studios. Interesting, isn't it? Yeah, kind of
Starting point is 00:23:47 agonizing, actually. And I see also Amazon is going to start airing Yankees games.
Starting point is 00:23:54 So that's their way to get into Major League Baseball. So I know that Major League Baseball and ESPN have announced a mutual split between the two brands at the end of the season. But you're going to need a subscription to MLB TV to see the 21 games. All games will be available to those in what considered the Yankees home market. This includes New York State, Connecticut, North and Central New Jersey, Northeast Pennsylvania, according to Amazon. I'm quite sure I understand that, but they're going to air the Yankees games
Starting point is 00:24:32 regionally on Prime. Okay, all right. I mean, they've got broadcasting rights to live sports, including they pulled in ballet sports, NBA broadcast and streams of NHL games. So, okay, and they've got NFL now too. so I guess it's more ways to get sports. Kind of weird on the regional thing for Major League Baseball,
Starting point is 00:24:58 but it is therein to start streaming Major League Baseball. And kind of, you know, that means they're taking over live sports. And good luck with that. Good luck with that. And good luck to Sarah Winn Williams. She, her book, I think, comes out today. I think it's a big expose. comes out today,
Starting point is 00:25:23 Careless People, a memoir, and she is a former director of global public policy for meta. And she is apparently a whistleblower on things that were taking place behind the old meta
Starting point is 00:25:40 paywall. They have pretty intense allegations. And she says they developed censorship tool that offered data access to China in an effort to enter its market, according to her complaint filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Okay. She said the company created a China-specific censorship system in 2015 and provided internal documents to support her claims. Okay. Meta, of course, denies the allegations,
Starting point is 00:26:16 saying the complaint was filed by a former employee terminated for poor performance. And sure, sure, we explored entry into the Chinese market, but ultimately we decided against it. Uh-huh. Okay. All right. So we'll see if anything comes of the memoir, Careless People by Meta's former director of global public policy. I kind of doubt it, but it will be interesting to see if anything does come out of because it's, you know, talking about workplace harassment and misogyny, and, you know, they were all over the META's C-O-O-Sandberg at the time because they were praising her for encouraging women to lean in. Okay, all right. So we'll get a glimpse into what it was like behind the scenes at META. And, you know, META will say that it's all BS, and these are
Starting point is 00:27:12 absolutely false allegations. And the complaint was filed by this, this, this, Informer employee who's pissed that we got rid of her because of her poor performance. Okay. All right. Then it's a big day tomorrow too. Tomorrow, Wednesday, the 12th of March, 2025. Yes, of course I'll be on Pat Unleashed doing a chewing the fat segment as I usually do on Wednesday. But I will also be looking into the new podcast being released by Michelle Obama.
Starting point is 00:27:47 Yeah, it's going to be terrible. I know. I don't know that I can, I don't know if I'm going to be able to sit through it. So apparently she is going to interview a variety of guests in her podcast called IMO, which is in my opinion, alongside. And yes, she's working with Barack Obama. Oh, no, wait, it's not Barack, her husband.
Starting point is 00:28:13 It's alongside her brother, Craig Robinson. So I thought, her brother was her oh wait no that's not it okay never mind so the first two episodes are going to be released tomorrow and apparently the new york times previewed them and reported that they each are about an hour long michelle and robinson will offer advice from their personal experience while refraining from addressing current affairs okay yeah you don't you don't want to give your opinion on that okay because that's why people are going to be listening for robinson chatted about his divorce while he and Michelle also spoke about growing up on Chicago's south side.
Starting point is 00:28:55 Michelle reportedly opened up about her marriage, including her initial reluctance about husband Barack Obama running for president. Right. She also spoke about life after the White House. Oh. And getting back behind the wheel following years of Secret Service protection. The announcement comes as divorce rumors. Yeah, they're getting divorced.
Starting point is 00:29:16 Now, we've talked about that here before. Do I believe that they'll get divorced? I think I'm betting on they're not going to get a divorce, but they are not going to be together, that is for sure. And maybe in the end, if Barack has some kind of huge affair that gets called out into the limelight, maybe the divorce will happen then.
Starting point is 00:29:35 But I doubt it because she's, she is Michelle Obama, but without Barack tied to her, she just becomes machine. and I don't know that she can that she can handle that. We'll see. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:29:55 It's really a strange situation. She's been seen out with their brother, Barack's out with the daughters, but they're not together. We had the Valentine's Day selfie. We don't know when that was taken. And they both responded with, you know, their lovie-dovey comments.
Starting point is 00:30:09 It just seems weird. Now, this podcast was announced by Higher Ground. Huh. That's their production company. Ha. The company has previously released a series about Stevie Wonder, although this article calls him Steve Wonder. Nobody calls Stevie Wonder Steve Wonder, Steve Wonder.
Starting point is 00:30:30 That's got to be. That just drives me insane. Anyway, and a celebrity interview show about family recipes, which, oh my gosh, her and Megan, they need to hook up and do cross podcasts with each other about cooking and their special recipes. And Michelle previously hosted a podcast, the Michelle Obama podcast.
Starting point is 00:30:48 That's what I thought. So this is a new one that she's doing without Barack. I am, oh, in my opinion. Uh-huh. So will she talk about her divorce? No way. No way. She would just talk about the struggles of living with Barack
Starting point is 00:31:05 and what it was like to be first lady and how restrictive it was. We'd have a secret service everywhere. And she just couldn't, I just couldn't imagine having go through that again and she will be very supportive of her brother when he is telling his divorce story guaranteed with amex platinum 400 dollars in annual credits for travel and dining means you not only satisfy your travel bug but your taste buds too that's the powerful backing of amex conditions
Starting point is 00:31:54 apply okay who died today who died today. Well, let's begin with Jamie White. Jamie White, an Info Wars reporter, Alex Jones's guy, has passed away. And he wasn't, he didn't just pass away. He was murdered in the city of Austin. He was 36 or 37 years of age. He was born in 1988. It doesn't say his exact birth date. I will say that it is the eighth homicide in Austin this year. And it was reported that the police arrived on the scene, found an adult male with obvious signs of trauma. The victim was transported to the hospital where he died. And of course, Info Wars is, you know, saddened and Alex Jones is saddened.
Starting point is 00:32:50 We don't know the reason behind his tragic death. We don't know why he was murdered. or obviously who they don't even have a suspect yet. So rest in peace and we will update you as information comes in. Rest and peace to Jamie White dead at the age of 36 or 37. Then we have Craig Wolfie. Craig Wolfie, a radio color analyst from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. WDVEE announced his.
Starting point is 00:33:26 death at the age of 66. He has been doing radio. He does a morning show in Pittsburgh, the locker room with Wolf and Max. Now, Fox Sports in Pittsburgh, he has, he worked on radio for quite some time doing, calling Pittsburgh games, and they did give a cause of death, although it says in one of the articles that he had been receiving treatment for cancer. So I don't know if that had anything to do with the cause of death. But it's very possible that it could have been, but it doesn't say in any of the stories what the cause of death was.
Starting point is 00:34:06 So rest in peace to Craig Wolfey, radio color analyst and radio morning show host from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, dead at the age of 66. Then we have Prince Frederick. Prince Frederick, the youngest son of Prince Robert of
Starting point is 00:34:26 Luxembourg and Princess Julia of NASA has died at the age of 22. Very sad. He died of a rare genetic condition called P-O-L-G micro- mitochondrial. Yeah, that's what I was going to say, disease. Very sad. I'm not quite sure, is it Polig Foundation or is it just P-O-L-G Foundation? Well, they'll stick with the P-O-L-G Foundation because it's called P-O-L-G Mitochondrial disease. And very sad news. He's suffered from it. There's no cure.
Starting point is 00:35:08 If you're suffering from it, it's just the way it goes. We just try to ease your pain as best we can because you're not going to make it. Very sad. I mean, a wide range of symptoms. It affects different organ systems, difficult. to diagnose, no treatments. And of course, there's, you know, there's no cure. If there's no treatments, there's no cure.
Starting point is 00:35:31 He has dealt with this throughout his life. And it's caused by mutations in the P-O-L-G gene. That typically affects multiple organs. Primarily, the brain, nerves, muscles, and liver can affect vision due to involvement of brain structures, according to the United... Disease Foundation. So rest in peace to Prince Frederick,
Starting point is 00:35:59 who has passed away from P-O-L-G Mitochondrial disease at the age of 22. All right, and then we have the widow of a Colorado man who died of a drug overdose after spending time with a Las Vegas prostitute. This widow is now blaming the hotel for her husband, and for her husband's death, according to a new lawsuit. Okay. Jennifer Jacoby lodged the wrongful death lawsuit
Starting point is 00:36:31 against the owner of the Palazzo last month. About two years after her spouse, Jeffrey, Jacoby, took a business trip and never came home. During his stay, Jacoby met Shaley Kese, Shealy, C-E-Y-L-E-E-C-E-E-E-C-E-E-E-E-E-C-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E. K-E-S-S-E. A woman, prosecutors called a sex worker at a hotel bar early in the morning on March 1st. And this was according to the lawsuit, the sex worker and the husband walked around the hotel casino for about 40 minutes.
Starting point is 00:37:08 Working up a little bit as before the payer went to the cashier's cage area so Jacobi could withdraw $1,000. I want more than a minute for a thousand bucks. Then they reported that they went to his hotel room, and she left about eight minutes later. Eight minutes? During the interaction, she was texting this Kashan Glass, who was acting as her pimp. After Jennifer called the hotel to see if staff could check on her husband who hadn't been in touch for hours, the worker found him unresponsive, slumped in the bathroom. Okay.
Starting point is 00:37:51 And this story says, I'm responsive slumped on the bathroom ground. I'm sure that's, you normally would call that the bathroom floor, but whatever. Glass 38 and Kessie 24 pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter and robbery counts last year with glass
Starting point is 00:38:07 hit with at least 20 years behind bars. Wow. And Kessi facing at least eight years in the clink. They were accused of giving Jacobi a deadly dose of fentanyl. Okay. She reportedly told the police that she and Jacob
Starting point is 00:38:21 smoked fentanyl together leading up to his death when he was found his cell phone and wallet were gone. So within that eight minutes, they smoked fentanyl and she took his wallet and his cell phone. Nice. And then that killed him. Holy cow. Very sad. Jacobi's wife argues in her lawsuit the hotel should have known about Kessie and Glass because they were targeting hotel guests to rob and victimize them. and both should have been booted from the property.
Starting point is 00:38:55 Yeah, it wasn't your husband's fault for dealing with the hooker and the pimp and the drugs. It was the hotel's fault. Okay, all right. Sure. No problem. Apparently, Jacoby, according to the wife, should have been alerted by the security guards. He was being followed by glass. The lawsuit also claims that in an email to the Venetian,
Starting point is 00:39:20 Casino Reporal Resort, which owns Palazzo. They are not commenting. Yeah, no kidding. So there you have it. When Hubby went to Vegas, he hooked up with the hooker and smoked a little fentanyl, which was too much. And they, on purpose, I'm sure, because they wanted to rob him, which they did. Is that the hotel's fault? Oh, man, I don't know. That's a tough one.
Starting point is 00:39:47 We'll see. We'll see what happens with this case. I have a feeling that perhaps a jury is going to blame the big old evil hotel people. They should have known. And, you know, we're not going to blame the husband who decided that I'm in Vegas. And what the hell I'm going to spend an extra thousand bucks to be with this hooker and do drugs? Not his fault at all. Okay. You got it.

So another case involving Diddy, while Diddy is still in jail, and I think his trial is supposed to start in May, if I remember correctly. We'll see if that ever actually happens.
Starting point is 00:41:12 But Odell Beckham Jr. and a comedian Drusky have been named as defendants in an amended complaint that also accuses Sean Diddy Combs of sexual assault. Okay. The plaintiff Ashley Parham Originally sued Combs, his business associates, and multiple unnamed defendants, alleging that the music mogul raped her in 2018. The amended lawsuit now names NFL star Beckham and Drewski,
Starting point is 00:41:40 whose real name is Drew Desmortes. Portum alleged that she was with a man who was FaceTiming Combs, according to a complaint. Parham said she was not impressed with Combs, saying she believed he had something to do with the murder of rapper Tupac Shakur, according to the complaint obtained by people she alleges. Combs then told her she would pay for her remarks. A month later, Parham says she was at the Northern California home of the man, also named as a defendant,
Starting point is 00:42:10 when Combs allegedly showed up with multiple others, including men, she now identifies as Beckham and Drusky. Okay. They threatened her with a knife before allegedly sexually assaulting her with a remote control. She also claims that Drusky poured lubricant on her before jumping on top of her and using her body like a slip and slide before raping her. She is also claimed she was raped by a man who the others kept referring to as Cornelius. She now says Cornelius was Beckham, whose middle name is Cornelius. Following the alleged gang raped the lawsuit, says Parham went to the Costa-Counter Sheriff's Office to report it.
Starting point is 00:42:52 Uh-huh. Uh-huh. Uh, the sheriff's office acknowledged that, uh, had taken a report, but that they determined the claims were unfounded. We take these cases seriously. A detectives thoroughly investigated the accusations. Combs and Drusky and Beckham have all firmly denied the accusations. Well, I mean, okay. Uh, I, I, uh, I maybe believe, uh, that Diddy was in on this, but, uh, you know,
Starting point is 00:43:20 Druski said that the allegations are fabricated lie. I wasn't a public figure in 2018. I was broke living with my mom without any connections to the entertainment industry at the time of this allegation. So the inclusion of my name is truly outlandish. My heart breaks for actual victims of abuse, but I'm fully confident the evidence will expose this falsehood and the individuals who are maliciously trying to game the legal system to peddle false negatives. narratives. Beckham, in response to Druski's post, also denied the claims. Boy, I'll tell the letter you what.
Starting point is 00:44:00 This world makes absolutely no sense. I am covered by God. He will prevail. I can know who am I. I can know who you, the letter you are. You don't have to, O'Dell. Just write the words. bro, just write the words.
Starting point is 00:44:20 Okay, you don't have to, you don't have to short-hand us on the, on the post on X. You don't have to, you don't have to do that anymore. Anyway, it goes on to say, I know, Kano, who you, letter you are,
Starting point is 00:44:33 keep your, your head. That name will be cleaned. S-H-X-T-S-Stupid. So that's his denial. Okay, no problem, Odell, we got you, man. now combs there's been several dozen lawsuits around combs for sexual misconduct yeah he's charged with federal sex crimes as well
Starting point is 00:44:59 and he's pleaded not guilty though and he's still behind bars and yeah it says here in may that's what i thought uh he's still scheduled to go on trial in may we'll see if that actually takes place i doubt it between his attorneys uh taking the high road and getting off um no that didn't sound right you know between his attorneys leaving saying they didn't want him as a client anymore and all of these other cases surrounding it I'm guessing that this trial in May will be postponed even longer
Starting point is 00:45:33 and Diddy will just hang out in a jail cell All right, let's get out of here The joke of the day is the one that I read last night and I've laughed about it since last night actually because we've all lived through this at least all married men have lived through this. And it's just, you know, something to remind ourselves that sometimes you don't always have to comment to your wife,
Starting point is 00:45:56 the things that come to your head. My wife came home from Walmart complaining about the cashier being a royal bitch. See, this is, we talked about fast food and restaurant employees, but we didn't talk about the grocery store employees and the way that they treat people. So, you know, it's kind of tags into that. Anyway, my wife came home from Wall Street. I'm complaining about the cashier being a royal bitch.
Starting point is 00:46:20 And I asked her if she was at the self-checkout. And that is how the fight started. Like I said, you don't always have to respond when, well, you understand.
