Question of judgment. All right, let's start out. Episode 15. It was what we thought it was going to be. Yes, it was. Another gathering episode. Absolutely was. But I thought it was pretty good.

I thought it was pretty good. Yeah, I want some fighting for crying out loud. You'll get that for the last half of the last episode. Will we know? Maybe. I don't think you will. You don't? I think we might come to the point of, okay.

crap's about to go down and then they'll cut it. That's what, I mean, that's what we said a long time ago, that the end of the season is going to be them, you know, one gunshot or a knife stabbing or something where we don't actually see it, but it starts. Oh, no, not him. No way. And that's the end.

Yeah, exactly. Yeah. No, but I mean, we got, we started, but I actually didn't think they were going to switch back and forth plot lines. I was saying that last week, but they did this. time. Yeah, they did. Multiple different plot lines.

Yes, they did. We saw Aaron and his boyfriend in that hot moment. Yes, grabbing that down our throats. And I was thinking that he was going to die on that op because Jesus was there as well. I kept thinking about what you said. And I was like, ooh, it's going to happen this time. I straight up thought it was going to happen. Wait, what did I say?

You said that he thought he was going to die and Jesus and Aaron were going to hook up. Oh, yes. That's right. Yes. There was a loving look. Between Jesus and what? No. And that's just a pick up look that all guys have when they're trying to pick each other.

Just throwing it out there. You know, like... Go back in the show of the episode. You ever get sick of him, I'm here for you. Just throwing that out there. Aaron M. Jesus, sitting in a tree. Yeah. Look, they were...

They're getting out there and they're fighting. I wrote a note that I have no idea what in the hell it means. I thought, go ahead and tell us your note. And we'll tell you what you meant. Sasha, who didn't see that? coming. Oh, that's what it was. Sasha getting caught. Did it start with that? Yeah, opened up on her in the cell and you're like, oh. But some of those brought her-and-then good old Rapey-Davy. Right. We see nothing of

her going in and shooting things up. We see nothing of her capture. We just, I mean, it's blood in her neck so you know something went down, but we have no idea what happened. Rapy-davy said it. He said, you don't remember me. Yeah. Well, why didn't we see that? Yeah, it still had been nice. I agree with you. To see something. That costs too much money. It's exactly right. That's what it is.

It's cheaper to shoot it in that little room. Yeah. I mean, for some reason, we have cut, we seem to have cut some corners. I didn't think so. I was bogeying against you there for a little while, Brad, thinking, no, they haven't. But I believe they have now. Well, the exterior sets were not cheap. And again, I said you that shot of the exterior of Hilltop.

Yeah. I want to say Hillwood. They built, that is a real house they built. Whoa. It's a big house. Whoa. It costs a lot of money. How about that,

Whoa. How about that death scene though? From Rapey Davy? That knife to the throat. That was pretty sick. That was good. That was dope. That cost some money right there.

Yeah, no doubt. I mean, but he deserved it. Especially if there's a lot of walkers in this thing too. Rapey Davy. Yeah, there were some good walker dust. Davy Jones. Oh, don't get, yeah, we're getting into ourself, though.

Because. I think Negan was my love to. He did really good. Yeah, yeah. That, oh, then, and then, Negan is necessary. Yes. We all got S-H-I-T to get over. Yeah.

We, he, if you analyze it, he's doing what he has to do to survive. And that conversation was very similar from another conversation later on. But we'll get to that later because we're going to have to hit that hard. That's just a little tease. Yes, it was. Right there. Pretty much confirmation, I think, that we've been right the entire time.

Thank you. No question. No question. We'll get to that in sick. The thing I like about Negan is, is it he's evil and all, but his evilness just only goes, he does have boundaries. You know what I mean? Like the no rape.

No rape. Unless, of course, you're one of his 15 wives. I was thinking the same thing. But he said in the past that they've always, they have the right to say no. Sure they do. I believe that. So unless they say, no, it's not rape. That's right.

In Negan's world. Exactly. So, I mean, that's the part of him that you realize, okay, the guy is wackadoo. Oh, yeah. He makes sense, and that's the scary part. Even serial killers, they make sense sometimes. I mean, you go to jail. Mm-hmm.

That's why I hated about prison. And Eugene. Oh, dude. I'm telling you. Both. Had a learning experience, I made new friends. I'm starting to doubt Eugene is playing an angle here. I am, too.

I think he's really just terrified. He's a ticket. He admittedly. and he's going to Yeah, but we gave him I know but we hoped that he We actually we hoped he was kind of Yeah, playing the game

Last season he had that whole change Where he was like now I'm a survivor You know what I mean And so he was trying to prove himself to But he did make He made that great But he really explained it well Saying look that 30 whatever

37 minute ride In the moment And then watching watching them get beat to death Yeah That'll change your religion I say what When he was like, when they played that, they played that second, they played that again, right? That entire last scene, or was that just, they played that right before they started the episode.

But he was like, I didn't ask you to come. You know what I mean? I literally thought that he was, up to that point, I thought he was still playing some kind of angle. Like he was like, no, no, you're screwed up my plans. That's how I took it. Yeah. Well, that's the way they wanted you to take it. I don't believe that anymore, though.

No, I. But what's going to. What's going to happen? It'll be, there will be, there will be a moment. There will be a moment. Now, you know what? Maybe in this universe, maybe this is one of those things where he gets, he takes a bullet in the middle of forehead because he's on the wrong side. Because that would be a consequence in that world.

Well, Sasha's playing him like a fiddle. Yeah. So, I mean. Well, she thought. I know that he gives her poison. I know. We knew those pills are going to come back. Mend this.

Because all she wanted was a knife or a gun and he would throw poison. Why is she bent on the short game? She's bent on the short game instead of playing the long game. She's now in the perfect position to play. play the long game. She just wants to get it done fast. Yeah. Exactly.

She's got to go to Star Trek. But, you know. But Sasha needs to play the long game. I know. Why are you spoiled it like that? It's just a TV show. Oh, okay. It's a really good one, though.

Yeah. She'll be alive after this. But why is it? So she's got the poison. So now she can. But here's the thing. If she comes out of that room, Eugene knows she has the poison.

Yeah. Well, this way, if she's going to play a little bit of the long game, she can come out or at least hand Eugene the poison and Eugene will know that she doesn't want to kill herself anymore. Right. Right. Yeah, because she just has to fake it like she's going along with Nagan until she gets the right opportunity. Yeah. Deegan, I don't know, boy, he wants to use Sasha to get in on Rick. but we did find out that I believe we had confirmation on Edid being the

I don't know. Gregory. Well, he doesn't know anything about them. He doesn't know anything about Rick. Oh yeah, he does actually because they went to, yeah. But Gregory hasn't been in contact with them, though. The last contact he has was Simon, and he didn't say anything to Simon about them. No, but he would be keeping an eye on them and he saw.

But the moment he admits that is he admits his own guilt. You know what I'm saying? Plus, at the end of the show, Gregory was going to go for it on a trip, which I thought was going to go see Negan. That's where I think he's going. Right, but it happened, which is possible, might not be somewhere else. But the thing is is that at that point, you know that he hasn't seen Niggins.

Yeah, that's true. So that proves. But he's got to be real careful that because literally if he gives them up, he gives himself up. So he's going to be hoping in the fact that he's come to Jesus basically and he's bringing this information out that it's going to save him somehow. But he's been lying to Negan and providing sanctuary to his people this entire time. Correct. That is not going to be good. No, that is not good at all.

Maybe means that that's not where he's going. But what do you say? He said it's a couple days away? Pack a bag. Yeah, he did. Yeah. The same is hidden as Negan's speech. Yeah.

As if Negan just gave her that speech. Yeah. I know. I knew that. Okay, remember last week you asked who the guy who brought the tequila into Gregory L is? Cal. Cal. Yeah, Cal.

Yeah. His driver, his do boy, his new dude boy. Who still said nothing, I don't think. Did he? I don't like that. So he's still in under five making about 300 bucks in. He didn't come in to say, he didn't say, what? He said, yes, sir, or yes.

That's still in under five, still like $400. That means he's like the sound guy's son or something like that. They just gave a roll. His name is probably actually, Cal. Don't even tell me he's a super fan because if they're letting fans out, I still want. I mean, it's not that we wouldn't do that because I just don't. that because I do that in a heartbeat. Oh, yeah.

I'll stand there and just not saying it. Oh, for sure. Oh, yeah. Oh, black, yes, boys. Of course. I mean, you already are. Exactly. Really stepping outside

I don't want to embarrass you, but. Seriously, we have to get some, I'm old. We have to get some attention to this because if we were correct the entire time, I haven't seen this anywhere. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah, Cal. Which is why he's not here this week. That's right. He's still licking his wounds. You aren't lying. He woke up with a horsehead for his bed this morning. That is why he called in sick.

He's too afraid. He doesn't want to step back into the fire. Dude, we called this. I know. I know he did. Absolutely, that's us. That's all us. Plus the fact that I did not want to be sitting and looking like a moose.

All right. Our friends are back. Ah, yes, the oceans. I should have taken better notes this morning because I watched it this morning because I didn't have to see the commercials. Barnacles. Brilliant. on the walkers coming from the Disney cruise ship. Yeah, it felt like Pirates the Caribbean.

It really did. Those were some really great... I love the barnacles on their face. Okay, so my one question about that is, so they were on the beach, they didn't have to be on the beach, but they were making noise and walking away from the walkers,

they saw the walkers coming to them. So was that part of their plan was to save the entire group at that last minute? That was the different way they were going to do it? I don't think so. Why go to the beach

and have them follow them? Because they knew they were following them. So that whole thing, thing at the end I thought was a big setup. Basically, they were making noise, they were doing all that stuff they knew. This group was going to come up. That was how they were going to do it peacefully and woo them over versus killing them and taking it. Right. Right. Right. That's what.

So I think that was all a set up and plan. Yeah, unfortunately, Natalia is pretty much in the anti-gun movement. Who was Natalia? The leader of the... Oh. She didn't want to fight. She wants to go lay down. I also learned that in the show about the shots. You saw that she missed a zombie a couple of times.

She got the headshot on the second shot, though. That's a little better. But yeah. She was in a trailer. I know. I thought what's her face was going to get. I thought maybe they'd kill, have Michelle kill the other girl there. Cindy?

Is that her name? Yeah, yeah, yeah. The daughter of the old. Cindy. Cindy is Natalia's daughter. Details. And who's Aaron's boyfriend? Is it Tom?

And I was really surprised that Rick took all the guns. I was a little, he should have left him something. You told them, come fight with this. I know. But you should have left them something to at least protect themselves. Yeah, but that's a good question. Good point, though. Why didn't they bring them with them?

Because I thought there was a group that said, okay, we're going to come to. But they denied them. She said, but, you know, there's a group of us that want to go fight, but it's all of us or none of us. Oh, that's what she said. Yeah. So I don't know why they're taking that position because, let's face it, that group is going to die off eventually. Yeah. Well, we see them again.

The little girl will catch up to them, though, because she's the daughter. Yeah. The, you know, she's already a badass. Yeah, the granddaughter. She's already, she's already a badass. Yeah. And she's going to survive and she's going to turn to them. She's got issues.

Yeah, she's going to be Tara's girlfriend. She's going to be Carl. She's the new Carl. And she's like 12? She's the female Carl. No. How old is it? Yeah, the granddaughter?

Yeah. Like 12. Oh, the one she gave the finger to when she walked away. I love that part, by the way. Right. That was good. But it's what I'm saying that that girl is going to be, she'll survive. Yeah, yeah. Oh, yeah.

She was a badass. She did like a karate kick to the one, knocked him down and stabbed him in the head. It's like, what? Nice. I know. That's world class. That little girl needs to learn some manners.

That's a good move. Creepy Sasha talking to Eugene. Well, that's why she was just playing Eugene like a fiddle there. It was creepy, though, the way she was doing that. It was beautiful. Acting. Yeah. Yeah.

Yeah, there was just a lot of creep in that scene. And I think you're right. I think she just was thinking about Star Trek when she was doing it. She's memorizing her Star Trek line. Oh, I don't think so. I think she was playing. She wanted to. She had Eugene right where she wanted him,

and she just kept reeling him in. So I think. Until he showed her that he was smarter. I don't think he realized. I don't think so either. I don't think he realized that he, yeah, I think he thought she wants to kill herself. A knife or a gun is going to be too messy.

I'm going to give her the poison so she can just kill herself and it won't be messy and hurt her. By screwing up, not giving her a weapon, I don't think he did that because he thought, I'll show her messing with me. The amazing thing about all of us is that each one of these positions is defensible. I mean, each one of these out, the viewpoints on the points of view, each one of them is right in its own merits.

There's no right or wrong in any of it in her either wanting to kill herself or kill Negan. It's just a choice. I think that's the brilliance of the writing of the show because you can really, there's not one hard, fast side that's right and one that's wrong, which allows for a lot of discussion, which is what we're doing here today.

It was just a build up that he's losing influence. Right. It was because that group that walked by and said that's not what he told us. You know what he told us?

It's like, she's like, she's learning. He's learning. Yeah. Like, shut up. I mean, she didn't even say that either. Yeah. You know, she's just learning. Shut up, Maggie.

Who pick your damn blueberries? I appreciate you killing the Walker, but keep your mouth shut. I'm a leader here. She didn't need to be mouthing that in front of the other dickleberries. That kind of piss. Not that I'm thinking about it, 50s me out. It's not feminism. It's just that she didn't need to be saying that.

She was gloating. But what's interesting is, so how is he going to die then? Because he's got to die soon for Maggie to take over. But Negan's not going to like that because you know that the leader he puts in place, he wants them to stay. He can't be Maggie. He thinks Maggie's dead. Exactly, yeah.

Boy, is he going to be surprised. Yeah, you aren't lying. Right. Right. And then on top of which she is really the leader now. It happens before that, though, right? She becomes a leader way before Negan's captured. So, I mean, like, I mean, I'm assuming either, what's his name?

Gosh, I forgot his name already. Which one? Leader. Gregory. So either Gregory's in a, something's going to happen to him next episode or within the next couple of episodes going to the next season. But very, very soon. Is the season finale two or one hours? It's an extended version.

Oh, which means more room for commercials. Extended version is what they advertised last night. It'll be 10 minutes worth of content. Extra. That's what it'll amount to. The rest will all be ads. That's what we all do. Fill time between the commercials.

I think that there's going to be another lineup. up. I think it would be an awesome end to this season if we get kind of like a replay to where Negan has the entire group. Maybe they do come, it comes to a head because he obviously knows about Rick doing his thing. Trying to get sneaky. So I would love it actually if he came out, caught him

off guard, lined him up, and then maybe the kingdom rode in and saved the day. But that would be so great if we had Carl, Carl, everybody else all lined back up out there, maybe inside Alexandria or whatever, maybe somewhere. And the best part of that is, and Kingdom rides in. I like that. You know how many? You can get everyone on the back of a CG tiger. Everybody, literally. It would look kind of ridiculous.

But that's okay because they could, it's a CG tiger. You want them to ride in on the tiger? All of them. Oh, didn't the preview show actually the tiger walking with him? That was kind of dope. Tiger's going to die. Nah. Eventually.

It does it in the comic books. Hmm. But, excuse me, graphic novels. So does that. Sorry. I know. Well, the king, let's see, who They put the king's head up on a bike.

He didn't want to shoot him. I think that Negan's going to roll in, catch him off guard. He's in a line all back up. He's in a fist bump, Enid. I think next episode, I think, because they've teased it so much. We find out. Yeah. We find out next episode. He's in a fist bump, Enid.

She's going to step in line right behind Negan. And then the kingdom rides in and saves the day. That's what I think. And then that sets up the war to come. Like, Nagan's going to... That's a good one. That would be good. That would be...

That's what that conversation is all about with her and Carl. That would be good. That would be great. You heard it here. Talking Walking Dead podcast, this one, baby. Nobody else calling this. I love that. What about Sasha as a walker with a bag over her head?

I've heard that theory floated a little bit. They use her as a shock value as a bargaining chip. Remember in Fear of the Walking Dead where they put the bag over the walker. So if you put the bag over her head, you don't know that she's turned. They just see her wearing Sasha clothes. They think that she can't talk. But they've got her gagged. Oh.

It's possible. I saw somebody float that theory. I thought that was an interesting one. Yeah, I don't know what they're going to do with her. Huh. I think she's going to be to flip the thing they're going to use her to the gate. Yeah. Yeah, too.

They're on top of the gate, they look down there like to have a shock in their face like something. Or Sasha is just coming up saying, let me in. See, that would set up another lineup. Yes, it would. Nagan lineup. Yes, it would. Because they would try to barter for her. All right, that's it.

That sounds good. Brad, could you do better than that? Nope. I'm not even going to try. But what about the deal? Details. Well, all I'm going to say is if Sasha walks up to that fence with a bag over her head, she's dead. Right.
